21 + terms and conditions apply. Welcome in hour and a number two Monday edition Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show Encourage you all to go subscribe to the Clay Travis Buck Sexton podcast. You can get clips. You can be able I noticed this the other day, Buck. I was going to go pick up my kids and I walked past someone listening to our show on double speed. And it wasn't my wife who says that she listens to the show on double speed. You can. I'm not a huge podcast person, but you can speed up how fast the people talk on the podcast. And you can go at one and a half speed. You can go at 2x time. You can be through even faster. Our friend Alexi Lawless, Fox Sports soccer analyst, listens every day. What's up Alexi? And he listens at double speed while he's working out out in California. My wife listens at double speed. Someone was listening at double speed as I was walking past to go pick up my kid.
Buck Sexton
A very jacked patriot walked up to me in the gym this morning and I thought he was going to tell me, hey buddy, move faster. I got to get through this next machine. And instead he said, I love your show. You and Clay do a great job. And I was like, of course, because you're a jack handsome patriot down here in South Florida. So he was a podcast listener as well.
Clay Travis
I've got a funny story that I meant to share a while back and we'll get to the latest drama from the state of Florida, Casey DeSantis Byron Donald's info there. That is super interesting, but this happened, Buck, and I meant to share it. So I was at the super bowl down in New Orleans and I did our friend Shannon Bream's Fox News Sunday show from the field at the desk. They had the desk where they put all the football analysts. She started off the day for Fox live from inside the Superdome. I had to get there super early in the morning and I Had to go through a lot of security because Trump was going to be there. And near one of the final security loopholes that I went through, a security guard called me over and I thought, oh, this security. It's not uncommon. We over index massively on this program with security guards and police officers. So it's not uncommon. When I'm going through security somewhere and I appreciate you guys, somebody will come over and they don't want to make a big show, but they'll be like, man, really appreciate what you and Buck are doing. Keep up the fight. Things like that. We over index with security personnel. I thought that's what he wanted me for. So I walk over and he, like, pulls me in closer and I'm like, oh, he's going to tell me, you know, something about the show. He just doesn't want everybody else to overhear because, you know, he doesn't necessarily want them to know his politics, whatever else. And I swear this happened, he leans over and he says, your fly's down. You probably want to pull that up. Nothing to do with the show. Not sure that he had any idea who I was. I leaned over expecting to hear, hey, thanks for being a great American patriot. Instead, early morning, I had not zipped my fly up. Thank you to that security guard in New Orleans who may have no idea who I am at all, but did notice that my fly was down and he didn't want to draw a huge show by draw huge attention by pointing it out. So not all the time, but lots of the time, people are saying, hey, love the show. Other times I just can't manage to dress myself appropriately. So I appreciate the help. Anywhere I can get it all right now. Casey DeSantis. Buck, we talked about Andrew Cuomo. Andrew Cuomo makes sense to me. Not because he wants to be mayor, but because he wants to be President of the United States and he wants an office to run from. Ron DeSantis is term limited out 2026. Will have served eight years as governor. You and I believe that Ron DeSantis is, if not the best, one of the best governors that we have seen in the last decade. In fact, Buck, I think I can speak for you. You probably wouldn't be living in Florida right Now if Ron DeSantis were not the governor of Florida. Is that fair? That's a huge reason why his leadership, why you ultimately got fed up with New York and ended up in Florida. I think that's fair to say.
Buck Sexton
Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah, of course.
Clay Travis
So having said that, there is now, according to Polymarket a 70% chance that Casey DeSantis is going to run for governor. That is Ron DeSantis wife. And there is a big NBC News story that came out last night saying that basically she is preparing for the run. We talked about this a little bit. Byron Donald's congressman from South Florida has already announced this is setting up. I want to look not only in the governor's race, but also I want to consider this larger picture as a continuing Trump versus DeSantis battle. I want to get your take on it, but first, let's play this audio. We played it on Friday, but you had ducked out. Uh, and it was at the end of the, near the end of the show, Casey DeSantis was asked about it and this is how she responded. Well, I would say one thing. To quote the late, great Yogi Berra.
Buck Sexton
When you come to a fork in.
Clay Travis
The road, take it.
Buck Sexton
You guys can read it out. Look, I mean, I, I think that I, I've been, I've had people coming up to me for years begging to get her in the fray because I think, you see with her presentation, I mean, she's passionate, she's articulate, she's smart, she's got rock solid values. I remember Rush Limbaugh, late, great, great friend of mine. And you know, he was always upset because he thought that the spouses pulled the office holder to the left. And, and he said with Casey, I don't have to worry about that. She's. She's more conservative than you.
Clay Travis
Okay, so, Buck, you are a Floridian. It may be the case that next year you have to decide in a Republican primary who would you vote for. What is going on here? We know Byron Donalds has announced he wants to be governor. He is running. I saw he's already sharing clips from his social media account about his governor's race. We talked to him last week. Casey, certainly we'd love to have her on the show if she announces, but. And I think she would do a great job, by the way. I think she's super smart and I think Ron DeSantis has been such a great governor that on some level knowing who he wants to be the next governor would make sense. But let me just, I want to toss this to you and get your read. Hillary Clinton ran for office, but she ran for office after Bill Clinton's political career was over and then she built her own political career. Ron DeSantis political career, in my opinion, is not over. I know he's term limited out in 2026. He has to figure out what to do. I think he probably would run for president. What is the play here so far as you see it in the event and again it appears that it's going to happen. Casey DeSantis also throws her hat in the ring and we get what I think it's fair to say would be another Trump vs. DeSantis esque battle because Trump has already endorsed Byron Donald and Trump would certainly know if Casey was preparing to run, this wouldn't as well plugged in as he is in Florida. This wouldn't be a surprise to him.
Buck Sexton
This is the system we have. I don't view this as, as, as a problem either way. I think that if you want to have a robust Republican primary in this state with different very strong candidates, then, then that's fine and that the people of Florida will get to decide. I also think that there's nothing wrong with saying let's see what the various candidates have to say about what they do. As governor, you know, I share your sentiments about Governor DeSantis being a fantastic, I mean a true A plus governor and I'm very thankful to him as a Floridian for what he has done. I also think Byron Donalds is an excellent congressman and I have a lot of respect for him and we've spent time talking to him and know where he is on a lot of national level issues. And Casey DeSantis is very impressive and charming and there's a lot to recommend recommend her for for elected office. So I don't feel like there's a definitive anything right now. She hasn't even decided to get into the race. Byron Donald's already has Trump's endorsement. That's obviously going to carry a tremendous amount of weight. Remember, Trump is a Floridian, which I feel like doesn't always we think of him as a New Yorker but he actually now is officially and has been perhaps in part because of DeSantis during COVID is an official Floridian. So there's going to be a lot that plays out here. We'll see whether DeSantis, I can't just say DeSantis because Casey and Ron, Ron supporting his wife would be no surprise to anybody who spent five minutes with the guy. So if she decides that she wants to get in, he's going to push, push aggressively for her to, to take over the governor's chair and we'll, we'll see. You know, the chips fall where they may. I don't really, I don't really have much for it beyond that. We haven't even. We don't even know who's in the race yet. So how could we judge who should win the race?
Clay Travis
It's interesting to me because we know DeSantis ran for president. And frankly, if Trump hadn't run, I think DeSantis would have won the nomination. In other words, if Trump had just decided, hey, I'm out. But now the calculus is different with J.D. vance, because if Trump had picked Doug Burgum, I think a lot of people would have seen that as a Mike Pence like choice. In other words, let me put it this way. Do you think if Trump had won in 2020, do you think that Mike Pence would have been the nominee in 2024? I think there's a zero percent chance that Mike Pence would have been the nominee even as Trump's vice president, because I think a lot of people saw him, frankly, as not a particularly strong leader. I don't know that Trump would have even endorsed him. J.D. vance, on the other hand, I think is an entirely different kind of vice president. I think even the fight that we saw with Zelensky, Mike Pence would have never done that. And Trump backed J.D. vance. I will be surprised if Trump doesn't back J.D. vance in 2028. And so I think the political calculus is different because Vance is going to enter into the race, and I think he's going to run starting about 27, which isn't very long from now, as a substantial favorite to be the Republican nominee. And so if you're looking around there, then you've got eight years of JD Vance potentially soaking up a lot of the attention. In other words, Trump's selection of J.D. vance I don't think has been talked about enough as being incredibly consequential in how all of the political chips are set up going forward in a way that never occurred with Mike Pence, and I don't think would have occurred. I'm not trying to take a shot at him. If he had picked somebody like Doug Burgum, I don't know that there would be the expectation of him as next man up. Does that make sense? And so I'm kind of curious about the DeSantis maneuvering. What is the play here? Casey could be governor for eight years if she won, if she lost and Byron Donald's won. I also don't know how this plays out, but I don't see it as just about the governor's race, just like I don't see the New York City mayor's race as just about the New York City mayor's race, if that makes sense.
Buck Sexton
Well, I think that the DeSantis political brand would not really be relevant if he does not become the nominee in 28 is essentially out of the game. So if Casey becomes the governor, then you have a DeSantis in a very prominent role in American politics for the foreseeable future. Right. So it's a way of, of staying in the game. And you know, I think they also really believe, look, Ron DeSantis has done great things in Florida. So I think that it's very fair to say that there's also the true public service going on of running a state the way that it should be run, having hundreds of thousands of people moving to that state as fast as they can and very happy with that move. I remember people saying, oh, everyone who moves to Florida, they're all going to leave. Not true.
Clay Travis
They said, that is more people are continuing to go to Florida. Yeah.
Buck Sexton
And I think other states that can are looking at some of what Florida's done and, and thinking about how they could kind of, they could try to replicate it. So I just, it's very early in all this process. It will be interesting to see if you, you know, if you do have a, a heavyweight, a heavyweight bout, if you will, between Casey DeSantis and Byron Donalds. I can't imagine there'd be another candidate in that mix who would really make a big difference in the governor's race. But we'll see. Maybe also this talk with Casey, maybe Ron, Ron and Trump played golf, I think, very recently, so they seem to be on good terms. Maybe this is just a conversation, but actually there'll be something for Ron and the administration down the line. Who knows?
Clay Travis
I would also point out that, yeah, I bet you'll feel very comfortable signing on to this. Florida is not a toss up state in any stretch at all. The winner of the Republican primary is going to win comfortably as the governor in 2026. So effectively the Florida governor's race, if it were Casey DeSantis versus Byron Donalds is actually in the primary, as often happens in red states or blue states where there isn't a functional competitor. I think that what the biggest legacy of DeSantis has been, it's going to be really hard for any Democrat to win a statewide office maybe for 10, 20 years into the future in the state of Florida, and it may not happen for the next generation. That's a pretty incredible legacy. We'll talk about. They'll take some of your calls. I'm curious how Floridians would would react to that. Also, we'll dive in on this, this crazy Boston shooting, the reaction from the mayor of Boston. We've got a lot of, I'm not sure we've ever had more awful mayors, Democrats in big cities than we are dealing with right now. We'll talk about that and more when we come back. In the meantime, it's March Madness. I mentioned my beloved University of Tennessee. Literally the last shot of the game. 35 foot three pointer to beat Alabama. That's what happens in March Madness. No purchase necessary VGW Group Void where prohibited by law 21 + terms and conditions apply. Welcome back into Clay and Buck. I mentioned this at the top. I just wanted to note that Pete Hexess, our friend, the Secretary of Defense. He is he has weighed in on the Doge email to Federal Civilian this is not for like active duty Marines, but federal civilian employees who are supposed to respond to the what did you do last week email. At first they weren't going to respond. Now Pete says Secretary Hegseth says they should respond this cut 11 play it.
Clay Travis
I am now directing each member of the department's civilian workforce just civilian to provide those five bullets on what they accomplished in their specific jobs last week to reply to that email and CC their immediate supervisors. It's a simple task really. As Elon said, as the President recognized in our first cabinet meeting. Just a pulse check. Are you there? Out to DOD civilians now all those DOD civilians will receive an email outline the next steps. Get that email soon that they need to take in order to comply with this initiative.
Buck Sexton
If you're doing a lot, somebody asking you to tell what five things that you've done in the last week should be incredibly easy to do. I would just know that this, this email should be something that you could dash off in a minute, maybe 30 seconds. And yet there's been a tremendous amount of pushback against it.
Clay Travis
I just, I don't understand why there is any. I think it goes back to what you said. The people who work at the federal government feel like they have won the lottery. They are low risk takers, but they basically know, hey, I'm going to make $100,000 a year for the rest of my life and it's almost impossible to get fired. And that is a tremendous benefit that I bet 95% of people working in the private sector listening to us right now don't feel because at any point you could lose your job. And that sudden recognition that maybe they don't have lifetime tenure has their entire world rocked. That's really what's going on here.
Buck Sexton
I think that's right. We'll take some calls. We'll also tell you about the mayor of Boston expressing condolences for somebody running around with a knife trying to stab other people to death. We shall discuss that in just a moment here. If owning gold wasn't important to you a year ago or even a month ago, it's going to become a much bigger deal. The price of gold is about to increase again. Maybe not like last year's 30% increase in value, but probably double digits. Gold increases in value, particularly in unstable world environments. And when inflation here at home continues to exist, both are likely to happen in the coming year. The good news is you can own gold and have it safely stored it in your Savings account, your 401k or both for that matter. You can store your physical gold at home just as easily. Travis Buck Sexton Show Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. We got a collection of awful mayors in cities that shouldn't have awful mayors. Eric Adams looks like he's in trouble. We talked about with Andrew Cuomo, who I don't think is anybody's idea of who would be an ideal mayor for New York City. Chicago. I think we mentioned this on the show, but it does beg repeating. Buck Brandon Johnson is the mayor of Chicago. They managed to replace Lori Lightfoot with someone worse than Lori Lightfoot in Chicago. Brandon Johnson now has a 6 1/2% approval rating in Chicago. I've never seen any politician manage to hit single digits. That's really tough to do. 80% of Chicago ones say, hey, Brandon Johnson is awful. Karen Bass couldn't stop her city from burning down and now she fired the fire chief and she's conducting an investigation on why she went to Ghana instead of being in LA to help put out the fire. San Francisco.
Buck Sexton
Imagine launching a commission. Why am I so bad at my job?
Clay Travis
Yes, that's really funny. They're investigating why she's awful at her job in la. San Francisco kicked London Breed. I don't even know that. We hardly talked about it. But London Breed, the incumbent mayor of San Francisco was kicked to the curb and you just have a series of big city Democrat mayors all doing awful jobs. Which brings me to Michelle Wu. She is the mayor of Boston. There was a shoot there. Let me kind of get into some of these details. And essentially there was a person running around threatening everyone in Boston in a Chick fil A and this guy had a knife and he was trying to attack multiple people and the Boston police showed up and they shot the guy. You would think, hey, maybe we extend thanks to the police for protecting everyone from Boston. An off duty Boston cop protects everybody. Instead, the Boston officials offered condolences to the would be knife attacker. This is cut one. My condolences and all of our thoughts.
Buck Sexton
Are with the family of the individual whose life has been lost. Our thoughts and prayers are with the.
Clay Travis
Family and friends of the individual who's been lost.
Buck Sexton
So our condolences go to the individual.
Clay Travis
Who was killed tonight. Buck. The guy had a knife at Chick Fil a threatening people. Thank the Lord the off duty Boston cop was there. But what kind of world are we living in when would be killers are apologized to and offered condolences when they are shot and killed? I mean, this is crazy town. Yeah.
Buck Sexton
Imagine if there was a suicide bomber somewhere who blew himself up and killed a bunch of people. And the first thing the authorities said was I'm very sorry about the individual who blew himself up. It was really a tragic day for him and his family. This is the progressive left at their ultimate ends. They do believe in this kind of inversion of sanity and morality such that the victimizers are the victims in their minds. This is a common theme for them. It's true on a whole range of issues. I remember recently there was, I believe it was in Virginia. There was a cop, was an Asian American police officer and a large, I mean large, like 62 or 63 female member of the George, former member of the Georgetown University basketball team. Do you remember this? And she came out during a wellness check with a butcher knife and slashed the cop up badly too. I mean he was blood all over his face, his hands. And he was begging her, please drop the, you know, stop, stop, drop the knife. And he had to draw his service weapon and use it to defend himself. And there are people who were saying that that was excessive force. Publicly afterwards you've got guys getting stabbed in his face by a maniac. And there is an anti cop left that says, and they're of course, oh, it's racist. You know, it wouldn't have happened if this wasn't a, if, if she wasn't black. This is. These are the things that were being said. These people are just crazy. I mean, I don't just mean the ones that are doing these violent things and getting shot. I mean those who support or their first reaction is to offer support to the memory of and the family of those who. Yeah, look, everyone's allowed to have a funeral. Like every family's allowed to grieve. We get that. But public pronouncements about people that are attempted murderers who are killed in the act. You know, I just, I wonder where does that stop, right? I mean, if somebody holds up a liquor store, shoots two people and cops have to draw down on him and shoot him, is that, is that now Public condolences being offered by the mayor or the governor or whatever for the guy who shot people in the liquor store. Hold up. You know, his life was lost too. What is this? And as you, as you played that audio, it wasn't just the mayor. Yeah, a number of officials in Massachusetts.
Clay Travis
In Boston and I just. This is where Democrats really unfortunately have to wallow in the awfulness of their choices. And a lot of people who are rational and didn't vote for these people have to deal with it too. I actually feel, because you know, Boston is a fabulous city, Chicago is a fabulous city, San Francisco, Louisiana. I mean, these are really great places to visit. And because Democrats are making awful choices about who is leading their cities, even if you're in the group that isn't vote, that's voting against them, you're being held hostage by these choices.
Buck Sexton
I can make this very easy because I've lived this in New York at different times. If you can't walk out from your home at night and go to the grocery store or go to get on the subway to get somewhere and feel like it would be, yeah, bad things happen in cities, I understand that. But it would be shocking to my family and my neighbors if something were to happen to me in this situation. If you can't have that feeling of baseline security, you don't care how beautiful the architecture in the downtown is. You don't care what the job opportunities are in the financial district. You don't. Nothing else really matters to you in your day to day life. If every time you walk out of your home you think to yourself, I have to be on high alert. There are real problems here and bad stuff is happening to good people all the time. That's just the reality of living in a city in America and it just doesn't have to be this way.
Clay Travis
And you and I are dudes, you know, we're six foot, weigh a decent amount. Women, wives, girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters. The amount of times that they are feeling terrified walking through city streets should never be happening as often as it is. And let me give you another example.
Buck Sexton
I mean, sometimes I have a loaded gun on me too and I'm pretty darn good with it. So like, yeah, I feel pretty safe walking around here. It'd be a bad day for somebody to decide that they're going to try to victimize me.
Clay Travis
Well, I walked everywhere in Miami when I was just down with you and I never felt a pinprick of I'm.
Buck Sexton
Going to tell you something. And I have friends on the Miami Beach Police Department here, one in particular is pretty high up, and their attitude is, we're here to serve the residents. We're not here to harass people. We're not here to do, you know, a little sort of Mickey Mouse nonsense and everything. We're just here to, you know, keep, keep order and keep safety for the residents of Miami Beach. And they're totally backed up in that. So it's. It's very nice here. Very safe here.
Clay Travis
I'll say this, and I think I mentioned it on the show when we did it. When were you and I in New York City at the same time? Like, September, October of last year? I think you remember when you needed to get something at a drugstore near, like, where we were staying? Like, you were so shocked.
Buck Sexton
I've been talking about it for a long time. When you saw that everything is under.
Clay Travis
Lock and key, I couldn't believe we walked into whatever, cvs, Walgreens, whatever the heck it was, and Rite Aid. I don't know what it was, but every. Virtually every single product, like you, I think you wanted to get a toothbrush and, like, toothpaste.
Buck Sexton
Yes.
Clay Travis
And you couldn't do it without it being unlocked. Where I live, I. I was in disbelief that New York City in a. Like, not far from Times Square, like, a fairly nice.
Buck Sexton
It's the commercial heart of the city. Okay. So it's. It's where all the Broadway theaters are. That was my drugstore, too. That was on my old block. That was the other thing that you.
Clay Travis
Realized, the idea that you could go to watch a broad play, and you walk out and you're on your way back to your hotel, and you're like, hey, you know what? I forgot my toothbrush or I forgot my toothpaste, or you just want to get something for the hotel room, you have to have an employee come out and unlock the toothpaste. I mean, that is just. To me, that's a sign of a city in failure. And the next step. You know what happens after that buck, is the store has to close because there's lots of people like me who would just be like, screw it. You know what? I don't even need to get that. I'm not going to go in. I don't want to have to spend the time to go find an employee to unlock this thing to come get. I'll just. I'll ask for toothpaste at the front desk. I'll run into a deli. I'll find, like, the idea that that could happen eventually. The next step is profit margins are going to go down. Right? And eventually what you're seeing happen is all these places are closing. You know where I'm going this weekend, Buck? I'm going to San Francisco. I haven't been to San Francisco in years. I'm told. I actually am kind of like, I'm not going to have a car. But I was told by a friend out there, they were like, hey, are you going to have a car? And I was like, no, no, you know, flying in, just take an Uber, whatever. He said, because if you take a car, if you have a car, he said, and you're not parking it behind like securitized areas. He was like, leave your car door unlock and just leave nothing in it because the windows get broken. It's better to just leave your car unlocked and let people get. This is what life is like in San Francisco. Better to leave your car unlocked and just let somebody get inside and see if they have anything they want to steal. Then you come back, certainly don't leave anything in it. Then you come back, the windows punched out and you've got a rental car and you're like, what do I do with a broken window? I mean this is real. The fact that people are living in these cities and just making choices like these because they've come to accept that that level of crime is just what life requires in cities is such a Democrat failure. And I feel like the quality of life aspects, it's all their own choice. But we don't talk about it enough honestly all over the country.
Buck Sexton
Democrats don't want to admit that they were wrong with all of this. So that's another challenge that their party has going forward. We were just talking a lot about safety and I was telling you, look, I sometimes I travel around that I've got lethal self defense on me, I've got a bunch of guns here, but for a lot of people, and I know this is true of my wife Carrie, she prefers to carry or to have here in the home nonlethal self defense options. We just want the threat to stop. We just don't want to be victimized. We don't want to be in a position where we can't or where she can't defend herself. So this is where Sabre comes in. Yes, I've got, you know, a gun safe full of all kinds of stuff. But I also, near the gun safe have a whole range of non lethal self defense project products from our friends at Sabre. This is a company that's been around for 50 years, operated now by second generation of the same family. We know the leadership. They're total believers in Sabre themselves. They have it for their family. They have the launchers. They have the pepper sprays. Sabre's Home defense projectile Pepper spray launcher may just be the ultimate choice for you for non lethal home defense. Small enough to hold in one hand fires off a round projectile full of pepper spray, slowing down an intruder or attacker. In these moments when someone invades your home, that's what you need. Sabers projectiles pack a serious non lethal punch. Creating a six foot pepper cloud upon impact. Causes intense sensory irritation. Also gives you force escalation options. Right? You can use the non lethal and then if you have to, heaven forbid, you can go beyond that. But starting with non lethal makes so much sense. Just look at how law enforcement does it. Appreciate all of you hanging out with us as we are powering through the program. We should mention Riley Gaines schedule to join us at the top of the next hour. She is right now fighting the battle to see whether or not the Senate is going to be able to ratify a bill already placed by the. Passed by the House. It's a crazy bill, guys. You know what it says? Men who identify as women don't get to compete in women's sports. And the question is, will any Democrat senators join the majority to make this happen? We'll find out the absolute latest on that from her. She's been phenomenal fighting this battle, but can you believe this is real?
Buck Sexton
No. And what I was going to say is that Democrats as a party are not walking away from this. Yeah, they're not giving up at all. They really, to our point about how Kamala got 75 million votes. And you know, I think that there's a lot of either blame Kamala or blame Biden or blame both for the fortunes of the Democrat Party right now. But there is an unwillingness, I think, to really look at the ideology. This is true of communists of all eras. It's never that the communism was bad. It was always how it was done. Right. It was always real Communism has never been tried. You know, real progressive Democrat leftism has never been tried. This is where. This is what they're falling back on right now, which is not a surprise, but should just remind everybody that on these issues, they think that they're one great candidate and one great campaign away from all of us being told that we have to clap or we'll lose our jobs. When some 220 pound guy is like manhandling girls on the basketball court, you know, that's. They really still believe that. I want you all to know this. They have not decided, oh wow, Trump maga, the restoration of the America that we all thought we were living in. No, they think they're one election cycle from. You better say that. That that six foot three guy on the rugby field with the women is actually a woman. Or else fired from your job, banned from social media again. I mean, remember all the things they were doing, Clay? They've apologized for none of it. This is what we're going to be talking to Riley about in a minute. It's not like they're sorry for what they did and the excesses. No, they just think that right now the bad guys, which would be us, the people who aren't crazy, that we are ascendant, but that it's temporary and that they will be able to, you know, the pendulum will swing back to their side and you will be forced to clap for the kind of stuff that we're talking about here, which is. I mean, I saw the video of the guy playing basketball against a whole bunch of girls. I think Was like a high school.
Clay Travis
Not even a good basketball player, San Francisco area. Like, not even you. You play basketball, you grew up playing back. Like you can watch him and be like, this is not a talented basketball player.
Buck Sexton
Buck had some skills back in the day, a little point guard. You know, I could deck, I could hoop. I'm just saying I could hoop. But yes, this guy was not good at basketball. But he's larger and taller and faster and stronger than all the women on the court dominating. So you get, and you just get to watch the domination happen and think about how humiliating that is for these women who have been working on their athletics and working on their sport. You know, I mean, any number of guys know this. If you go, you can go into a CrossFit, if you are a guy and you weigh over 200 pounds and you're 6ft tall, you go into a CrossFit gym and you, and you know, they put the wads work out of the day and stuff. I mean, I used to do CrossFit a long time ago. And you see what the men, what the women are lifting. If you're a 220 pound guy, I guarantee you're lifting more than on the bench press than the female specimens in the CrossFit gym. I mean, women in incredible shape.
Clay Travis
Yeah, that's just because you're a dude.
Buck Sexton
And you weigh more and you're bigger.
Clay Travis
No, it's totally true. They have workouts of the day. For those who don't know, there's a men workout of the day, women workout of the day. Sometimes you have joint workouts and you're midway between the two. Because there is a difference. Even for the biggest, baddest women on the planet, they do not compare to the biggest, baddest dudes on the planet. And biology is real. So we'll talk about that with Riley Gaines, who is an awesome NCAA champion swimmer, when we come back. The absolute latest Democrats really are the party of believing men should be able to compete in women's sports. That's just what they've created. I can't believe this is real.
Buck Sexton
But keep in mind Neil Degrasse Tyson, the scientist guy, when asked about this is like, men have no biological advantage over women.
