Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton show. Okay, shameless plug for YouTube right now. Speed Sexton moving up on 10 months old with quite the chunky smile right now on video for all YouTube subscribers. If you like chunky babies dressed up in cute outfits, yes it is Shameless. You should go subscribe to the YouTube channel because you never know when a cute baby is going to appear. So much, so much going on out there. We got some good news for you before we dive into Tom Holmans. I can't ever keep a secret. I'm not even sure we're supposed to say this yet. So this is on me if we're not supposed to say it, but it is very cool. The show is going to be on Sirius XM which it never has been before. In the first five years. Rush was not on satellite radio channel 1 23, that's the triumph station starting on February 9th. So for all of you out there, we know we have so many truck drivers who truckers who listen all over the country. You're going from one state, one time zone to another. We love all of our 555am FM stations in all 50 states. Nothing is changing with that. Nothing is changing with the podcast. You should be subscribed and we hope you will subscribe on YouTube and all the social media platforms. But starting on February 9 on channel 123 you will be able to hear this program every Monday to Friday. So we are excited about this. It's a thanks to you guys that the show five years in has been growing a lot. Affiliates are happy and obviously I heart is happy and we want you to be able to find us as many places as possible. So we've got all social media handles. Again, nothing changing with our 555 affiliate stations but we know that some of you out there are big fans and don't have a great affiliate station or maybe you drive and the station doesn't pick up very well for for you when you're going a certain direction. This will help to fill in those gaps. So you will know that if you have Sirius XM you can hear us every single day on channel 123 that is starting a little bit over a week from now. So we want to be everywhere that you guys are. Starting in June plan is to be able to have all three hours of video for you to be able to watch and consume and any way that you would like as well.
A
It will be the five year anniversary of the Clay and Buck show as it exists.
B
So probably a good, A good target date for us to have all three hours of video would be on the five year anniversary. So maybe we can make that happen.
A
Are you going to get me like flowers or chocolate or anything, Clay?
C
No.
B
I'm bad enough at getting gifts for my wife. So you don't. You certainly don't get anything.
A
He doesn't even pretend. He doesn't even play a lot. He's like, oh, yes, Buck, I'll get you something nice. It's very sad.
B
No, I'm not a gift guy. Like, my presence is quite the gift.
A
Only for my. Only for my wife. I'll be honest with you. I'm also a. Like I said, I'm a, you know, give me, give me my nephews 5 to 9 account so I can put money into it. That's my version of G. I don't do the other stuff.
B
Did you actually. This is funny. Before we get to Tom Holman, our friend Jesse Waters had a segment where we were talking about Sydney Sweeney's new lingerie company in advance of Valentine's Day. And he had, I think it was Lydia Moynihan on from the New York Post who does good work. And he asked her good move, bad move for a husband to buy Sydney Sweeney lingerie for his wife. Because on the one hand, it's nice. It's Valentine's Day. Here's lingerie downside. It means that the husband has definitely been checking out Sydney Sweeney in her new lingerie in advance of giving the wife or girlfriend lingerie for. For Valentine's Day. I didn't even see Lydia, Lydia Moynihan's full answer because it was such a funny question that, that I had to give a hat tip to the Waters crew. So that, that is actually a really, really good question. So that is floating around out there. But in all seriousness, the reason why the show is expanding is because you guys have been so fantastic in being fans of the program and chasing us down wherever we go. And so we're excited to be on 123 on satellite radio, something Buck and I have wanted to do for some time because we just want to make this show as easy for you guys to accept access no matter where you are across the country. And again, we know a ton of you are truckers and probably the amount of time that you spend sometimes trying to track down the show from one city, one state to another is substantial. So that will be an easy way to, to be able to follow the show. And we hope that you guys will be able to take advantage of that. Now, uh, let's play a couple of these cuts, Buck, because both you and I thought Tom Holman was masterful in the way that he has addressed, uh, everything surrounding the attacks that have been taking place in Minneapolis. And he said a lot of different things. This would be substantial in a positive direction. Uh, this is cut six. Uh, Homan says, Attorney General Ellison says that they will start to turn over violent criminals now, because I think if this follows through, this is actually a hugely important win for everybody in Minneapolis. Cut six.
C
I'm also pleased to announce I had a very good meeting with Attorney General, Attorney General Ellison, and he has clarified from me that county jails may notify ICE of the release dates of criminal public safety risks, so ICE can take custody of them upon the release from the jail. Look, I've said this many times before. I've said it for the last several years. Give us access to the illegal alien public safety threat and the safety and security of a jail. It's common sense. It's safer for the community, is safer for the agent, and they're safer for the alien.
B
He says cut 10 here, Buck. We're not surrendering our mission at all. We're just doing it smarter. Tom Holman this morning.
D
Target enforcement operation. I've done many, many of them. It just makes it safer for everyone when we know exactly what we're looking for. What is this criminal history? What is his immigration history? Where'd you live? Is it an apartment complex versus a house? You know, it just makes this operation cleaner, more efficient, and it's proven less violence. But we know exactly what we're getting into, and we can take the necessary precautions to keep everybody safe. You know, some of the operations that I've been involved in. We know there's children in the house based on surveillance. So we know you got to be a little bit different when you go in that house because there's going to be children present. So target enforcement operations. We've always done it, I think, got away from a little bit, and we want to make sure we do target enforcement operations. And look, I'll say it again, we are not surrendering our mission at all. We're just doing smarter.
B
One more cut. Cut 8. Criminals are a priority, but if you enter the country illegally, you're not safe from being targeted and. Or being deported. Cut 8.
D
If you're in the country legal, you're not.
C
You're never off the table.
D
You know, but privatization doesn't mean. But you forget about Everybody, let me say this. If the message we send is you enter this country legally, it's a crime. Don't worry about it. You can have your due process, show up in court. Not show up in court, get ordered, move. Don't worry about it. Unless you commit a serious crime, you're good to go. If that's the message we sent to the world, you never going to fix this problem.
B
Okay. I thought it was a masterful performance, Buck. I loved him setting the agenda. Tom Holman, to me, and I think you're in agreement on this. This should be the front facing spokesperson for all issues relating to the border and enforcement of our laws here.
A
He should be the guy who is making the most important strategic level decisions about all things going on with this, obviously in the name of and with the stamp of approval of the president. But he should be the point guy on this. You know, he should be the equivalent of the Secretary of War, except he's the secretary of deportation. I mean, this should be the guy who, and I know people have said he's the, he's a czar and he's kind of. Yeah, but you know, there's been a lot of dhs. Secretary Noem, look, she's got, DHS is such an unwieldy bureaucracy as it is, Clay. You've got Secret Service under dhs. I think, I think now it's hard to even keep up that it changed. All this changed from when I was in the CIA. You've got Coast Guard. Is Coast Guard in DHS now? I think it is. ICE obviously is. Customs and Border Patrol is, and there's a tsa. I mean, there's all these agencies that are all together under this DHS banner. I, I, I think that, you know, Secretary Noem can handle some more of that broad mandate. And on this issue of the deportations, you want to see Tom Holman. This guy's done this for over, for 30 something years. He knows everything. He knows every trick that people try to play in the public arena to lie about this stuff. He knows the reality that the border patrol agents face and that ICE agents face either with border or interior enforcement. It's just the guy you want to, this is what you want. You want somebody who has the knowledge, the experience and the leadership capability to get this entity to function for its mission the way that it should. So I felt that way about him all along. And he did a phenomenal job in the press conference. And I think the more that Trump entrusts this mission to Tom Homan, the Better it'll be because he knows, he knows how to make the case and he knows how to also expose if some mayor or police commissioner wants to play games, he'll establish what the statutory problem with that is and he'll take it to the public Clay, in a way that everyone can understand and everyone can see there's obstruction going on here. And that's, I think, really critical.
B
And all of this is, I thought, just really well done in terms of setting the agenda. I think we have one more cut. Team was telling me that they think we should play, and that was cut five, which I don't think we played yet. One more there.
D
In my meetings with folks so far.
C
And most importantly the governor and the ag, the mayor. Fry, we didn't agree on everything. I didn't expect to agree on anything. One thing we all agreed on was U.S. immigration Customs Enforcement is a legitimate law enforcement agency that has a duty to enforce the laws enacted by Congress and keep this community safe. Like I've said many times for last several years, even before this administration, jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities are sanctuaries for criminals. Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals and endangers the residents of the community.
B
The numbers out there buck ice arrest in many. In Minnesota, 11,000, which sounds like a pretty substantial number. Now, obviously population factors in here, but let me give you a number. Texas, 88,000. We haven't seen a single story about resistance to ICE or Border Patrol in the entire state of Texas. 88,000 arrests. In Minnesota, we've seen 11,000 arrests. Now, the population obviously is much higher in Texas, but it isn't eight times the population. I don't think of Minnesota. So on a per capita basis, there are lots of states out there that are participating in, in a functional and effective way and others that are not. And I think it's worth paying attention to and, and recognizing. Now, Fry, there does seem to be a difference of what people say publicly and what they are saying privately. Based on the way that this talk went. Mayor Fry just said in an address to a bunch of other different mayors that ICE needs to be banished nationwide.
A
So.
B
So again, cut 36, abolish ICE is becoming an actual Democrat argument, which I don't think plays well for them. Cut 36.
E
Despite what you make here on different media channels, crime is down in virtually every category and virtually every neighborhood of Minneapolis. Minneapolis is a safe city. It is less safe when chaos reigns supreme. It is less safe when families do not feel comfortable going to school or buying food. At the grocery store because they're worried that their very family might get ripped apart. It is less safe when we have roving bands of agents marching down the street just looking for somebody who might be concerned. And I gotta tell you, everybody is concerned when you have that kind of occupation. And so we've been very clear. The Operation Metro surge needs to end. This kind of conduct and siege needs to stop. Not just in Minneapolis. It needs to stop nationwide.
B
What I would love just.
A
No, I mean, he's some mayor. He's a moron. This is. How about.
B
No, I would love. This is where actual data would be fun. What is the number that Jacob Fry thinks is an appropriate and allowable and permissible number of illegal immigrants in the country? Nobody ever asked this question of the people out there that are dancing around and spending a lot of time arguing that there needs to be no enforcement from ice. Ok, what's the number that you think would be too many? Would 50 million, 100 million? Should we just make Latin Americans, everyone in all of Latin America able to come here and live? Where would you draw the line and say, you know what? This doesn't make sense? And there's never really an announcement or comprehension or discussion of that. Look, I'm headed out to California next week. Super bowl is going on. I will be in LA at our affiliates. Then we've got. We need to get a good affiliate in San Francisco. I don't think we. Hopefully I'm not wrong in this, but I don't think we have a great affiliate in San Francisco. It's one of the cities we need to hit. You'll be able to listen on satellite radio now, though, I guess in San Francisco, in Dallas and other cities where maybe we can't have a great listening ability. Philadelphia, where Buck has been insulting everybody about the cheesesteaks. You'll be able to listen in all those places. And you can play prize picks in all 50 states, including California, Texas, Florida and Georgia. Download the Prizepix app today. Use my name Clay as the code and you get 50 bucks in your account. Welcome back in to Clay and Buck. Clay's laughing about something I need to know.
C
What? What?
A
What did I miss?
C
What?
B
I can't say it on the air. You'll have to wait. Wait till the commercial break. But you'll. You'll appreciate it.
A
I thought it was an email that came in. Maybe trying to defy my edict on Natalie Portman's just not that hot and really overrated. I, you know, you can do whatever you want, you can say whatever you want, but it won't change for any.
B
Of you out there.
A
The fundamental reality that she kind of looks like a 14 year old boy. I'm just speak the truth.
B
The only thing that I'll say about Natalie, I was here yesterday. I'm very into what I I think the only criticism I'll give of Natalie Portman and this was not 100% her. The decision in the first Star wars to have her be a full grown woman and Anakin be like eight and then Episode two, suddenly they're dating was one of the most egregious casting decisions ever. Do you know what I'm talking about? Like, Anakin is like six years old in Star wars episod and then in Episode two, he's suddenly fully grown and they're dating and Natalie Portman has been playing herself the whole time. That was an egregious failure that Natalie Portman should have recognized and said this is dumb. So that's my only criticism I will give of the incredibly attractive Natalie Portman who Buck has unfairly columnized in today's program. Did I use that correctly? I think I did.
A
I just, I like people to know the truth and that's why I'm here speaking the truth and sorry. Her schlag. I said horse log. Her schlag. Natalie Hirschlag has gotten very far.
B
I. Her slag is a little bit. I was pretty close. Yeah, you are somewhat close.
A
This is like, you're. You're cutting the onion pretty thin there, buddy. You're cutting the onion.
B
Well, horse. No woman wants to have the last name horse. I. There's no one who's like, hey, you know what I want to be compared to? It's a huge, beastly animal. A home break in occurs every 26 seconds. No one wants the last name cow on average nation, especially not a woman. That's according to a 2024 FBI report. Now's a good time to secure your home and prepare yourself with the Sabre Home Defense Launcher. Powerful protection, designed to help keep you safe. We own them all through the Travis house and they are easy to use and they are fantastic. Welcome back into Clay and Buck. Great new book out from our friend Peter Schweitzer. He's the president of the Government Accountability Institute. He's a best selling author, and the latest of his best selling opuses is Invisible Coup. How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon. Very timely book given the most important news story in the country right now. Peter, congrats on the book. Thanks for being here on the show.
F
Hey, thanks so much for having me, guys. I appreciate it. I hope everybody's staying warm.
A
Yes, it's Peter. I'm. I will have you know it's like 58 degrees in Miami right now, so.
B
So, you know, say legit may get to freezing, which I don't imagine happens very often in Miami, might get to 32 degrees.
A
They're going to be iguanas falling out of trees left and right. That's a real thing, by the way, because their body temperature drops. You got to watch out for the falling iguanas. All right, Peter, walk us through this. The title begs the question, Invisible Coup. Tell us about the coup. Give us the anatomy of it. How did this happen? What is going on?
F
Yeah, so we've been debating immigration in this country, how it affects wages, how it affects crime on our streets, and that's very important. But what we've ignored is that our adversaries, and those are adversaries that are domestically in the United States, and I'll define those if you want. And our foreign adversaries, including China, but also Mexico and The Muslim Brotherhood have weaponized migration. They see it as an opportunity to create a political network inside the United States and they use it to chip away at our sovereignty. Mexico is a great example of that. People don't realize that China has a. Sorry. That Mexico has a network of 53 consulates in the United States. Compare that to the UK and China that have six or seven. And they are deeply involved in our domestic politics. They're having meetings. I've got transcripts from meetings in their consulates describing how are we going to turn states from red to blue. They were heavily pushing to defeat Donald Trump, but they are also involved in organizing some of the anti ice violent protests that we're seeing, those that rocked Los Angeles last year and those that are occurring in Minneapolis right now. So they see migration as a tool that they can use to, to extend their sovereignty in the United States. I'll just leave you guys with this one. Quote, this is from a government report, December of 2024 by one of President Sheinbaum's top aides who said, quote, we already know that the Mexican population in the United States reaches 39.9 million. We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory. I could read you dozens of quotes like that from senior officials. And it's not just bravado. They actually do believe that they are going to extend their political sovereignty inside United States. And they've done so.
B
How durable do you think the idea is. Thanks for coming on with us. Of limiting immigration going forward? And how much of this do you think? If Trump is out of office in January of 29 and insert Democrat comes in, do you have any doubt that they would immediately return to the Biden era policies? Or do you think the Biden era policies have proven to be so unpopular that they wouldn't be able to go back to full open borders? What would things look like in your mind?
F
That's a great question. I think out of political necessity, they will absolutely go back to the Biden plan. And here's the thing. I mean, I have a big chapter in the book on this. It's called Voter mills and it's titled that because that's a phrase from a White House email from the Clinton administration. And they've replicated in every Democratic administration since they conducted the studies in the 1990s. And they found out that mass migration was a huge political win for Democrats in terms of voters, new citizenship. Every Democratic president when they've come into office, Clinton, Obama and Biden, they take the citizenship requirements, you know, criminal background check, language Requirement. You speak the language, you know, the tests on sort of your moral and civic understanding of the United States. And they cast it all aside. They do it intentionally. They ignore criminal background checks. And the reason is they want to mint as many new voters as possible. They determined, according to Democrats themselves, they determined that newly minted Americans vote 85% for Democrats. Now, that changes over time. The generation of their children, it gets closer to 50, 50. But the point is that first generation, for 20 years, they're going to vote 85% for Democrats. So they want to mint as many voters as possible. Even those migrants that are here that are not voting, they don't have citizenship, or they're not engaging in illegal voting. Huge advantage for Democrats. Because our census, you guys have talked about this, our census counts people. It does not count voters. And that determines congressional seats and Electoral College for the presidential election. California right now has four more congressional seats totally because of the illegal migrants in that state. And to put that into perspective, those four congressional seats, that's larger than the congressional delegations of 13 US states that have fewer than four congressmen. So the point is, it is a political winner for them in terms of voters, in terms of electrical caps. And progressives, say I quote them extensively in the book, that this is what has pushed the Democratic Party to the left. Progressives want it, not only because it helps Democrats, but it helps make the Democratic Party even more left wing. So out of necessity, I think we will see a return to those policies.
A
Speaking to Peter Schweitzer, bestselling author, his book Just Out Invisible How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon. Tell me about some of the stuff in the book involving cartels, NGOs, intercepted communications. There's some really troubling nexuses that you have uncovered.
F
Yeah, I mean, one of the things that's happening is the drug cartels. We think of the drug cartels in terms of, you know, corrupting Latin American politics. Claudia Scheinbaum, as I point out in the book, a lot of evidence of her financial ties to the drug cartels and other leaders in Latin America that has now seeped into North America. And so what's happened is there's been a push by progressives in North America to join forces with progressives from South America. The problem is that a lot of the progressives in South America are tainted by the drug cartels. So what am I talking here? In 2018, Bernie Sanders starts a group called Progressive International. It's now run by his foreign policy, former foreign policy advisor and this is an organization that aoc, Craig Cesar up to bunch of members of Congress are active in this organization. If you look at the leadership of the people that serve on the council of this organization, I would say 30%, I name a bunch of them in the book and show the details. Roughly 30% of them have direct financial ties to the drug cartels. And what's happened is that organization, because of this merger with Latin American progressives, is now pushing for two things. Think about this, two things they want. Number one, they want open borders. They want open borders because the drug cartels actually made more money during the Biden years with open borders than they did by actually selling drugs because human smuggling is more profitable. The second thing they're pushing for, which again is key, the drug cartels want this is the end to all military operations by the US and by allied countries in Latin America against the drug cartels. That's another issue that for example, AOC has actually pushed legislation to do that. I would argue those that's not a coincidence. The fact that the cartels and cartel connected people are involved in that organization in leadership positions and that they want those two initiatives and that's what this organization is pushing. It's clear evidence in my mind that you're seeing the influence of the cartels seeping into American politics. Very clear and direct way.
B
So what should we do? Let's pretend you had a magic wand and we know we've got President Trump for the next three years. We don't know what's going to happen in the House, in the Senate come November. That is certainly fraught with peril in terms of maintaining that if President Trump called you, maybe he has Peter Schweitzer and said, what should we do in 20, 26 and 27 and 28, what would you tell him? Are there things that we're not doing now that we should be?
F
Well, before the book came out, I did meet with the President in the Oval Office. Secretary of State was there, as was the Treasury Secretary, spent about an hour with them. Priority number one that I think is we have got to deal with the birthright citizenship issue. And here's the thing that people don't understand about it. This notion that if you happen to be here when you give birth to a child, that child is U.S. citizen. Okay, maybe 100 years ago that sort of kind of made sense. Right now China is exploiting this on industrial scale levels. So what do I mean? China has an infrastructure in terms of a vast industry. The CCP has run articles in the People's daily beginning in 2011, encouraging members of the Chinese elite to come to the United States, give birth here so their children can be US Citizens, and then they return back to China where that child is raised. So what are the numbers we're talking about? Our federal government has no idea because we don't track that you have a birth certificate. It does not give you the nationality of the parents. The Chinese government and Chinese research firms have actually looked into this and the numbers are eye popping. Eye popping. They say that over the last 13 years, every single year, roughly 100,000 Chinese babies have been born in the United States that are then brought back to China. These are the children of the Chinese elite where they are raised. And when they turn 18, these million plus, quote, unquote, U.S. citizens, because they were born here, are going to be able to vote, they're going to be able to contribute to political campaigns. That is priority number one. That I think is the key issue. We've got to deal with birthright citizenship because this is a concerted effort by China. They tried doing this on a smaller scale with Hong Kong. Hong Kong stopped it. They saw what was going on. We need to wake up to the fact that they are exploiting this in a direct way. So I. We've got to deal with that issue first.
A
Invisible Coup is the book, everybody. Peter Schweitzer, bestselling author. Peter, great work again. Thank you so much. And we hope everyone gets a copy of the book because it's really important and really timely. Thank you.
F
Thanks for having me.

B
By the way, we've got two funny clips from Trump at the, at the cabinet meeting that, that we have had. Let's see, I sent this in a long time ago. It's hard to keep track of all the different, all the different clips. Okay, here was 31. He said he got bored last time. So they're not going to have a three hour cabinet meeting. This was earlier today during the cabinet meeting.
G
We are going to ask a couple of people to say a few words and we're not going to go through the whole table because the last time we had a press conference, it lasted for three hours. And some people said he closed his eyes. Look, it got pretty boring. I love these people. I love these people. But there's a lot of people. It was a little bit at the boring side, but I didn't sleep. I just closed them because I wanted to get the hell out of here. Some of them, I didn't sleep, by the way. I don't sleep much, let me tell you. But you know, it's funny, some of them got me in a blink, you know, when you go like, they took me as at the closed segment of my cycle.
B
That's really funny. Trump saying he got bored at his own cabinet meeting. They took a picture of him with his eyes closed. I thought that was really well done. And then Trump also talked about the weight loss shots. Buck, I don't know if you've heard this President Trump saying, you know, they don't work for everybody. Cut 37 the shot, you know, Ozempic.
G
I think, or whatever. And I told him it wasn't working. It was for him, it was working. And he brought up a good. He knows who I'm talking about. He's going crazy. Begs me not to mention about me. Ladies, it's not our great vice president.
B
So J.D. vance interjects that it's not him being talked about on the Ozempic.

By the way, JD Was, was chunky back in the day. Yeah, he was. And look, I got a little chunky for a bit there, but I wasn't. Some of you don't know, I wasn't always chunky. I got a little chunky. I became, you know, happy dad, fat, all that kind of stuff. But, you know, I wasn't chunky in my 20s and 30s. But. Or at least my 20s. Some you're gonna find pictures of me in my 30s. We have VIP email from Dan. Very important. Dan in Portland, Oregon. Buck is absolutely correct about Natalie Portman. She is a talentless, moderately attractive woman. I don't know how she got as far as she has. Dan, you nailed it, my friend. 10 out of 10. 10 out of 10. Absolutely. Four stars, two thumbs up. Would recommend to a friend. Dan Zmill.
B
Nancy. Nancy. Well, first of all, you're wrong. Nancy in Illinois, taking a shot at me. Clay, keep your day job. Being a movie critic isn't your calling. On your recommendation, I tried, Rich. There were so many F bombs, I couldn't follow the story, so I found another movie to watch. However, I like your show, it is a cop movie. There's gonna be a lot of cursing. It's rated R, I think.
A
Sometimes, though, I will. I haven't seen it, so I can't weigh in. First of all, it's better than Sinners because Sinners is the worst movie ever made. And second of all, there's cursing. There can be too much cursing even in a movie where there should be cursing. You know what I mean?
B
I didn't notice the cursing at all. We will, by the way, be back tomorrow with more fun and frivolity. Thanks for hanging with us.

Notable Points:
Improved Cooperation with County Jails
"Attorney General Ellison ... clarified ... that county jails may notify ICE of release dates of criminal public safety risks, so ICE can take custody ... Give us access to the illegal alien public safety threat ... It's safer for the community, is safer for the agent, and they're safer for the alien." — Tom Homan [05:45]
Targeted Enforcement Operations
"Target enforcement operation ... just makes this operation cleaner, more efficient, and it's proven less violence. ... We are not surrendering our mission at all. We're just doing smarter." — Tom Homan [06:32]
Illegal Entry is Always a Crime
"If the message we send is you enter this country legally, it's a crime. Don't worry about it ... Unless you commit a serious crime, you're good to go. If that's the message ... you never going to fix this problem." — Tom Homan [07:28]
Legitimacy of ICE and Dangers of Sanctuary Cities
"One thing we all agreed on was U.S. immigration Customs Enforcement is a legitimate law enforcement agency ... jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate ... are sanctuaries for criminals ... and endangers the residents of the community." — Tom Homan [10:36]
Hosts’ Take: Buck and Clay endorse Homan as the public face for border issues, arguing his experience and communication skills are unmatched.
"He should be the point guy on this ... You want somebody who has the knowledge, the experience and the leadership capability to get this entity to function for its mission the way that it should." — Buck Sexton [08:10]
The hosts compare the number of ICE arrests in states like Texas (88,000) and Minnesota (11,000), noting some states functionally cooperate more with ICE than others.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey’s Comments: Played on air; he calls for an end to ICE operations, citing community fear and public safety.
"It is less safe when we have roving bands of agents marching down the street just looking for somebody who might be concerned ... The Operation Metro surge needs to end ... not just in Minneapolis. It needs to stop nationwide." — Jacob Frey [12:42]
Hosts’ Response: Mock Frey’s critique and challenge the notion of unregulated migration, asking rhetorically about the upper limit for illegal entries.
