Welcome back in hour number three, 14 hours up, 15th hour underway. We appreciate all of you hanging out with us, encourage you as always. Go subscribe to the podcast. You can search out my name, Clay Travis. You can search out Buck Sexton. We had record number in March as we did on the radio front as well. Rising tide, lifting all boats. And we appreciate all of you that are diving in to help make that a reality. We are joined. Now speaking of that podcast network, we have got a great cadre of phenomenal talent, whether it is Tudor Dixon, whether it is Carol Markowitz, Mary Kathryn Ham, our buddy Ryan Gardusky. You can find all of their podcasts inside of the Clay and Buck Podcast network. And we used to have, from a military perspective, Sean Parnell. He is now the chief spokesperson of the Pentagon. Kind of a big job to have, Buck. Not bad, right? And we said, hey, we want to find someone who has this same kind of skill set to be able to talk to the same audience that Sean Parnell was and continue to grow that arena. And Buck, why don't you introduce our guest and explain why he's the perfect addition to the podcast network. Well, we wanted somebody who is a true patriot, who is completely supportive of the Trump agenda, but also brings substantial combat experience, is a leader, a mentor, a motivational speaker, former Navy seal, our friend David Rutherford joins us now. He's launching the David Rutherford show on the Clay and Buck Network. Dave, great to have you, man. When is the first episode dropping? Get him up. Let me tell you this, Buck. Breaking news that has just happened in the past few minutes. For those of you out there that are active on TikTok, maybe you're learning dances like the dance that Buck learned. The TikTok sale deadline has been extended for 75 days. So the expectation is that an American owned company is going to have 51% or more of the overall TikTok universe. And you've been saying this is likely to happen for some time. I think, Clay, we figured out what our next. You're about to win. This is a little sad for me. You're about to win a steak. Did I tell you this is fun. By the way, first of all, we had our good ranchers feast earlier in this week, and it was absolutely fantastic. Fantastic. We. We just. Those steaks. And Carrie made homemade ice cream. She. She thinks I'm getting too skinny. I think she's. She's feeding me good rancher steaks and homemade ice cream. I have to say that ice cream that she made, the homemade ice was maybe the best ice cream I've ever had. I mean, it was incredible. Okay, well, now some of you are like, buck, why'd you gain all this weight after you get married? My wife is an amazing cook and specifically can make the best homemade from scratch ice cream you've ever tasted in your. In your life. But we had great steaks. Everything else, you know, my dad. We're going to bring this into the betting conversation here in a second. My dad, Clay, we were down there. I was like, oh, you know, do you want to go to a steakhouse? And he just sort of threw this in there. He's like, yeah, bucko, we could go to a steakhouse. What about that one where you took Clay where they had all the sparklers and the dates? Oh, that's great. I was like, buddy, that was great. But that was the most expensive steak in history. I love you, dad, but I don't. You know, that's a, that's a bet, losing steak, steakhouse kind of thing. But anyway, he was really funny about that. He was like, that looked like fun. I'm like, yeah, it is fun, but, you know, I'm going to go. I'm going to go bankrupt taking you guys to steak dinners. So instead of. I'm unfortunately, I think, about to lose. Although I haven't given up hope. Haven't given up hope. Going to lose our March Madness bracket contest, which I thought I would, but I like to just, you know, like to talk a big game before I get wiped out. Our next bet, Clay, we can do on a. On a political issue. It was either you or I have to post a trendy tik Tok dance on TikTok. That's. That's actually. And this is an elite bet. And share the video from our X account as well. That's going to be the next one. All right, no more steak bets. We're going to get. These are high. So you better be ready for this one, buddy. If it's like a midterm call or if it's something big in politics, you're going to want to feel solid on this one, because Clay doing a shuffle dance, going to blow. Going to blow the flute AI stuff out of the water, and me doing a shuffle dance, I do not have the rhythm necessary for it. So there we go. Did we manage to get Dave on? Yeah, we've got him. He's ready to roll. Dave Rutherford joins us now. What's up, man? Tell us about. Tell us about the new podcast. What you got in store for us. Well, I don't want to jump into that yet. I want to talk about how I get into this whole thing with. With my tick tock dance, man. I know I can. I can bring it to you guys pretty good, I think. I will tell you this, Rutherford, for a man who has learned substantial skills of firearms, I've been to the range with Dave countless times. He's a great instructor for. For myself. We've been out many, many times with Dave. He knows explosives. He knows hand to hand. He's handy with a tennis racket, too. So he's a man of many skills and talents. So if. If we also call him Rut for everybody, because his last name is Rutherford. So if you hear me call him Rut, that's. That's his nickname. But. But Dave, yeah, we can get you in on all these bets, man. Cause you're in the family now. You're part of the Clay and Buck podcast network. I think you're launching Monday. But tell everybody a little bit about yourself, because we only bring studs and winners into the podcast network, as evidenced by how the ratings grow month to month. Well, I mean, it's such an incredible honor to be with you guys. I mean, you guys have been the people that I've been paying attention for as long as I can remember. The way you guys deliver your information, it's just such a privilege and honor. You know, as a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor, you know, I was like, man, I'm pretty fired up. But this is definitely a little intense getting on with you guys and represent you guys. But I think, you know, with my background and also, you know, my background as a motivational performance coach, you know, I did win a World Series with the Boston Red Sox back in 2018. What I'm stoked to be able to do is to bring all of that experience to your audience and hopefully develop my own following. But really, to dig into all the different ideas. I mean, not just motivation and performance and tactical or security analysis, but more so just opinion on the cultural wars that are taking place, the craziness we're seeing in schools, and then what's going on around the world, man. I mean, this tariff war has got me kind of fired up right now, but we're going to hit everything on the David Rutherford show, that's for sure. What do you think? When you look around now, there are positives starting to kind of show up everywhere. In particular, it seems like a lot of younger guys and gals are willing to serve the country. The Marines, the military, they're hitting their recruitment goals, which they hadn't been doing for a long time. What do you attribute that to? To you think there's this wellspring of patriotism that hasn't been tended to that long, but that younger guys and gals are starting to respond to? Clay, that's 100% what it is. I mean, what numbers, you know, prior to Trump getting in office were the lowest numbers we've seen since late 90s. And that's when I, when I first joined. I mean, it was pathetic back in those days, I mean, we, we didn't even have enough money at Seal Team 1 to do a full training profiles. And then obviously the G WAT exploded and everybody wanted to serve. Patriotism was everything. Flags were everywhere for the first part of that war. And then as people grew tired of it, and then what really I think was the most detrimental thing out of all was just how Iraq wound down, how, you know, obviously the Afghanistan pullout was an atrocious abomination in every way shape form. In my opinion, it was worse than Saigon. But, you know, I think it's more than that. It was the DEI stuff. It was, you know, a lack of meritocracy in there. But now, man, Pete's back in office, you've got Bongino as deputy Director of the FBI. You've got a resurgence in American patriotism, American pride. And I think young men out there are ready to put their courage on the line for what American really stands for. And so I think that's a direct correlation for sure. Talking to our friend David Rutherford, his David Rutherford show launches in the Clay and Buck podcast network coming up on this Monday. So make sure you go to the Iheart app, wherever you get your podcasts and subscribe. You know, Dave, I think also one thing that you bring to the table that is going to be really interesting as perspective. And I know you're going to be covering Big news of the day, of course, and getting into, as you said, culture war stuff and where things stand based on. On the news cycle. But you're both a seasoned, a grizzled warrior and a girl dad. And in an era of questions about what American masculinity means, I mean, I think to be a seal, to have been to combat and now to be raising four girls and, you know, these are voices that we just need to have more out there because there are some folks who are running into this space and building substantial followings who maybe diagnose the problems of masculinity the right way sometimes, but definitely don't have the solutions. I think you can bring the solutions or you can bring the advice that young men and guys your own age need to hear. Well, I appreciate you saying that, Buck. I mean, the most thing that I care most about in this life, in this world are my four daughters and my wife. Right. And that's my. My faith and wants me to believe that. But what I also do and I have been doing for the past, you know, 20 plus years is I've been mentoring young men. I've got one young man I've been meant to touring since he was 12 years old. He's 33. He's currently at Seal Team. Right. I've got another young man I started mentoring when he was 16. He. He went on to the Virginia Military Institute and then just left being a Green Beret after eight years. And so I do have a track record of not only, you know, mentoring athletes, but also young men in terms of pursuing their heightened ambition. You know, the biggest things that I want my daughters to be aware of is strong, confident, courageous and noble young men. And so how do you teach that? How do you teach courageousness? How do you teach nobility? And I think what it really is back to those core stories of great men that built this country. And so what I'm really going to focus on doing is bringing those stories back, bringing that culture back to the forefront of the consciousness of young men in this country. And hopefully as they're out searching for the right role models or mentors, I'm sure I'm telling you what I'm really hoping that I can provide that, that voice and that conduit so that they have something that they can model themselves after. No doubt. I cannot wait for this podcast to get underway. We are excited about it. I just one thing I want to throw in clay. First of all, everyone, Dave Rutherford show, first episode Monday. Go check it out. It drops. It's going to be a fantastic show. Dave is a dear friend. He's a great patriot. He's the kind of guy you want to hang out with. He's the kind of guy you want to go shooting with. I've gone many times with Dave Clay to that end, we're going to now for sure get you out. I need all the help I get. Range day. We're going to get Clay. I mean, Clay is going to be out there shirtless with the M60. I'm telling you, Rud, we're going to make this happen. Well, Clay. Clay's a natural athlete, man. I watched the video, him playing golf with the president last week, man, and I was like, okay, that dude, we can get him on. On the range. We can get him doing some I ads, you know, certainly. I hope he doesn't show up wearing shorts like you do, Buck, but. But I know he'll be squared away. Yeah, you know, it's funny, real quick, for those of you who know tanto from from 13 hours, I show up at shorts one day to range day. Clay and I go and ruts like, you're wearing shorts. I'm like, tanto wear shorts and ruts like, yeah, but he's Chris Paranto. That's awesome. Fair. That's fair. I can't wait to check out the podcast. We appreciate you coming on and being a part of the network and look forward to getting out and you trying to make me look like I can actually hit something. You got it. Thank you, gentlemen, so much. It's such an honor to be a part of the Claim Buck podcast network. Thank you for the opportunity. I promise I won't let you guys down. And I'm Maria Konnikova. We're both journalists and professional poker players. And on our podcast Risky Business, we talk about taking risks in everything from poker to politics. And we talk about betting. From betting on elections to betting on your favorite basketball team, we've learned a lot about taking risks through our own research and sometimes even our own bets. And we share what we've learned with you. Are you still doing sports betting? I had no idea that you'd wagered over a million dollars for your research. Search. I bet almost the entirety of the 2022, 23 NBA season, all the regular season and about half the playoffs. And I learned that, I mean, it's probably what I should have expected, but I learned that it's pretty hard. I went on a huge heater at the start of the NBA season where it was up like 70,000 bucks. I'm like, man, I'm really good at the sports betting stuff. But then, but then things change. Now that March Madness is upon us. We're talking bracket strategies and a whole lot more. Join us and listen to Risky business on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton show. Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. We're joined now by Auburn men's basketball coach, Bruce Pearl. Coach, I think you guys were just practicing down in San Antonio. You got a big game tomorrow against the Florida Gators, and I'll get to that in a sec, But I wanted to give you a chance. We got the biggest radio show in the country here, and I was really impressed with what you said. After your team made the sweet 16, you used it as a platform to call for the return of the hostages still being held by Hamas. How much does that mean to you? How much do you think, given the attention on your team, that can have an impact? Well, Clayton, great. Great to be with you and Buck and, you know, I don't know. You're. You're walking down the hallway after you just won a big game. You're. You're on your way to the sweet 16. And so you're talking to God and thanking him for the blessing. And he just reached out to me, said, hey, remember who you are. Remember where you came from. And for some reason, the name me, Don Alexander, just came to my mind. And I asked the players, guys, would you mind if I started off this press conference without taking anything away from what we've done, and remind the country that there's still an American alive, still held hostage by Hamas, and it is wrong. And coach, they're like, coach, call it out. Call it out. And then one of the players is from Jersey, said, coach, he's from Jersey. And so we did. And I can't tell you how much it meant to so many people, but more than anybody, the hostages and their families. So his dad reached out to me, Dee, and his brother Roy, and said, coach, thank you. I said, what? Thank you for what? And he said, we just, you know, we're in prayer. We're hoping any day now. I said, guys, you're not alone. You're not alone. And hopefully President Trump is putting the kind of pressure on these terrorists to bring this home. It's their only chance right there. Free the hostages, and there can be a cease fire, and the death and killing can stop. You have used your platform to call for peace and for people of different religions to get along. How much does it feel like? I know you got a big game against Florida, and I know you're busting your ass and your team is. And your coaches are to get ready for that, but how much does it feel like your team is fueled by something bigger than just the pursuit of basketball excellence? 100%. Clay, you're an SEC guy, okay? Auburn basketball going to its second Final Four in the last Five years. Winning five league championships in eight years. Come on, man, you can't explain that. Only one way to explain it. Just God's. It's a God thing. It's a blessing. And with that comes a level, you know, of responsibility. And I think people of faith, you know, they encouraged to hear it. We are a silent majority. And so yes, we're going to give God the glory and victory and defeat. And it just encourages other young people to talk to the Lord. Like Dylan Hardwell, one of my players. You know, we knocked down a three and the guys are putting like kind of phone up to their ear and they're saying, we're calling God. And then with that comes responsibility to also behave and act the way he would have you act. So you, you sort of embrace and you embody those things. It helps your team be successful. And then as far as my faith and religion is concerned, I just try to bring people faith together. You know, Abraham is the father of all nations. And I try to really try to. So grateful for my Christian friends who embrace Jesus as a rabbi and a messiah and a son of God, but living his entire life in Israel as a Jewish man. If that doesn't bring us together, I don't know what does. Coach, a lot of people out there listening, rooting for you. Can anybody beat Duke? Yeah, I mean, Florida or Auburn or Houston can be Duke. Clay, I've said that I think Florida is the best team right now. I've said it for a couple of months. We can beat him, but we gotta, we gotta. You know, Walter Clayton is a great guard and he's oftentimes the best guard in the floor. They got a couple other guards. Martin and Richard are really good. Their front line is deep. Yeah, no, we can beat him, but we got to play great. But you know, I think Duke is, has had an incredible year. The four best teams in college basketball are still playing for national championship and that hasn't happened in a long, long time. Coach Pearl, I know a lot of people are going to be rooting for you, listening to the program right now. Good luck against Florida. We'll be watching. Appreciate the time. I know how busy you are. Appreciate what you and Buck do. God, America AM Yisrael Chai and War Eagle. That is Bruce Pearl. Prizepix.com Code Clay Final Four. Get your picks in. You're going to love it. Prizepix.com Auburn against Florida and then you got Duke against Houston on the other side. $50 when you play, $5. Great opportunity. Prizepix.com Code Clay. Go sign up today. That's prizepix.com Code clay, Travis and Buck Sexton on the front lines of truth. Welcome back in, Clay Travis, Buck Sexton rolling through almost said Bruce Pearl, because we just, I was like, we just talked with Auburn men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl about the Final Four. Last time I saw Dave McCormick, senator from Pennsylvania, and his lovely wife, Dina Powell, we were at the wrestling event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the NCAA championships there. And so I want to start there with you, Senator McCormick, because you wrote a great op ed about wrestling and the lessons that it can send and give to Americans everywhere. Wall Street Journal published it. What did you think of the reception of President Trump and what did you learn and glean from that opportunity to watch that event with him? It was pretty remarkable. Well, when that thing. Well, thanks, Clay. It was so great to have you there and be with Dean and President Trump. I had asked him right after the, right after the campaign, right after the election, whether he'd come, and he said absolutely, because he had. The Penn State wrestling team had been supportive of him. And wrestling's in the bloodstream in Pennsylvania. It's a big deal. But, boy, what a, what a representation. I think, of all that's great about America. The op ed said hard work, it said resilience, it said toughness, courage in the ring. And we saw it all that night, and President Trump loved it. He walked in the arena and the place went crazy, as you know. And all the wrestlers wanted selfies with them when they, when they got their awards. But the best thing was the last match. A huge upset. An Air Force Academy graduate beat the Olympic gold medalist. The place went crazy. The guy stood up and saluted the press. And I mean, this was like, this was made for Hollywood. It couldn't have been better. Hey, Dave, it's Buck. Thanks for being here. We're going to talk in a moment about your book with your wife, Dina, who believed in you. How Purposeful Mentorship Changes the World. You get a lot of very big name luminaries. I guess that's a good way to put it to people who are huge in their various fields and industries. But I do have to ask you first, if you don't mind. I'm curious. You were CEO of Bridgewater, which is a huge hedge fund, you know, markets, you know, global finance. Is this tariff thing crazy or what? Like, people are worried. Some of them. I feel like maybe 30% of our audience is worried about it. 30% is, you know, is totally in favor, and maybe you know, 40% is somewhere in between. So what do you think? Yeah. Let me give you three quick points on this. I'll be brief. But point number one is this is one chapter of President Trump's economic agenda. There's deregulation, there's energy dominance, there's extension of the tax cuts, there's foreign direct investment, trillions coming in, and the tariffs are just part of that. And they're going to be a little bumpy, as he said, for the long term game. That's going to be a little bumpy to start with. Second, this is designed to solve a real problem. It's a huge problem, which is the global trading system has been unfair to American companies. It's been unfair to America. I saw it in my hometown of Pennsylvania. We had a carpet mill when I was growing up. 2,000 employees. It's got 200 now because of unfair trading practices around the world. So we got to fix that. President Trump's committed to fixing that for American businesses, for working families, the tariffs he rolled out. Point three, set the ceiling. There's lots we don't understand. I'm still digesting it myself, frankly. But what we do know is those are a ceiling, and that now the negotiations begin and the goal is to have fair trading practices, American businesses are treated fairly, and to get key industries back in the United States. And I think we're on a path to that. But it's going to. It's going to take a while to get there. Bring in your wife, too, who's done good work. Buck just referenced the book, which is trying to encourage mentorship. Whatever you do in life, it's important to have someone who can help provide you a pathway to get there. Why did you want to tell this story, Dina, and what do you think Americans should take? Because there's a lot of people out there. When you get into your 40s, your 50s, your 60s, a lot of people that are listening to us. And you can do it younger ages as well. People can have tremendous differences, but there is, I think, a desire to give back and help to impart some of what you've learned. What did you learn while writing this book, and what was the goal? Sure. Well, thank you so much, Clay, for having me on. I'm so honored to be on with you and Clay with you and Buck. My first time on the show. I do have to tell your audience that being with you at the Ohio State, Penn State football game, being at that tailgate, you were way more famous than the potential senator. I'll just Say that with college football fans. They've gotten used to me a little bit. So that was an awesome day that we had. But thank you for that. It really was. You know, Dave and I actually wrote this book during COVID We have six daughters between us, college age now and out of college. And we realized that they lost so much more than high school proms and graduations. They lost three years of human connectivity. And if you think about the seminal nature of those first three years when you're graduating, your first job, your first mentor, your first boss. And we thought they'd really missed a lot. And we started to tell them about the people that had believed in me and Dave. We certainly wouldn't be where we are without those people. And I'm sure you and Buck have a couple of people that without whom you wouldn't have found your purpose. And we really started to talk to them about the fact that we all really are on this planet to find God's purpose for our life, and we need help finding that. And so we started asking other people we admired, from Governor Sarah Huckabee to the CEO of Microsoft to fashion designer Tory Burch and chef David Chang and Steve Schwarzman. And every one of them had somebody that changed their life without whom they would not be the successful people that they are today. And I'll just finally say, we hope this book is just the beginning. You were so gracious to tell your story on our trailer along with Michael Dell and Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk. We want more people to go to whobelvedinyou.com Tell your story. And really, the whole point is to ignite a new mentoring movement in the country where we believe that investing in one person who can be a great leader will make a stronger America. What else? As you've gone around and you guys have been doing the book tour, I know you've been interacting with a lot of media, but I bet you've been hearing from a lot of people who are having your stories resonate as well. What would you tell people out there? Because I think this is a big part of the challenge of jobs. Right? Some people say, man, I just don't have time to worry about mentoring someone because I'm so focused on trying to get done what I need to get done. I'm sure you hear that a little bit as you've gone around the luxury of being able to spend the time on it. Why is it important to do so well? I think it is central to building the next generation of leaders. We were at West Point On Sunday night, we were hosted by the superintendent and the dean. We were on a panel discussing the book. We had Brian Grazer, the famous Hollywood producer, and Alex Gorski, who had gone to West Point and of course was the CEO of Johnson & Johnson and Dave and myself. 1500 young women and men were in that auditorium. And all I thought looking out was one, thank you for their service. What an incredible group of people who love our country. But two, those are the people that are going to protect and defend our nation for the next generation. And how could you not say that investing in them is so critical to our future? It's the greatest investment you could make. The other thing I attended recently, Clay, was an event, a big event in finance. 300 women on wall street actually came, young women. They are thirsting for guidance, values based leadership and mentorship. And so if you think about it, you can truly not only change someone's life, which is satisfying enough, but you can really make your company much more efficient and effective. We can make our military even stronger. Dave, of course, as a combat veteran who attended West Point, has firsthand experience about the mentors in the military that made him a stronger leader serving our nation. But this is, I think, the greatest investment you got to make. Time for it. And I'll let Dave really talk about some of the people in the book, and it just kind of tells you why it's so valuable and important. Yes, we see some of the names here, really well known and incredible folks. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Steven Schwarzman, who is the founder of the Blackstone Group, which is one of the biggest private equity firms in the world. David Chang, know him from some of his fantastic restaurants. The book Dina Powell McCormick and David McCormick have authored here is who Believed in you? How Purposeful Mentorship Changes the World. And just want to say, Dina and David, thank you so much for being here with us. Best of luck to you and we hope the book sells a ton. Guys, thank you. We really appreciate it. Great, great to be with you as always. Thank you, Clay. We hope people will go to whobelievedinyou.com to tell their stories and get the book. All the proceeds go to veterans and mentoring organizations. Thank you, Buck and Clay, so much. That's awesome. Yeah. Clay, do you have a mentor? Yeah, I talk about it. I mean, it's up on their website. Remember when we were up for the, for the inauguration, they were doing a lot of interviews and they came to where we were staying. And I think my video recollection is up among Other things. I had a great law school professor named Larry Soderquist who has since passed. He was a business law professor at Vanderbilt Law School. Incredible guy. And he made a tremendous impact, I think on a lot of young lawyers at Vanderbilt over the years. I gotta tell you all about something that I think is particularly easy for everybody to grasp right now as to why this is a good idea. Gold. Look at the markets, look what's going on. No one's telling you this is going to be easy. Even if it all works, there's going to be some chop, there's going to be some difficult, there's going to be some losses. I feel good about it and I was adding to my existing gold holdings which stretch back for years. And you know who helps me with this? Birch Gold Group. That is who I trust to go to for my gold. I've got gold coins, I've got gold bars and if you have an old 401k or IRA, you can have that converted into a 401k or IRA in physical gold. I wouldn't wait. I would call Birch Gold Group today. They want to help you right size gold in your portfolio. Learn how to own physical gold in a tax sheltered account. I just want to say a couple quick things here, Clay, about my first time in Arizona. First off, thanks to Everybody here at KNST AM790 in Tucson. My first time in Tucson. Everyone here at KNST has been fantastic. It's a great station. We've got really loyal listeners in this area. It's beautiful around here. Arizona is really I the landscapes, the mountains, the desert. I'm in Arizona. A quick fan here. I'm thinking I want to come back. I'm with you. I have said If I had to leave where I live now, there's about five places I'm in, Nashville that I would be interested in living. And Arizona, much of Arizona is one of those places. I think it's a fabulous spot. Yeah. So I'm very impressed by the Arizonans and their. And their beautiful, beautiful state. And thanks again to K. NST Listener Robin in Houston is not impressed by your lack of respect for the Houston Cougars. Clay, this is a talkback. HH Hit it. Hey, Clay. Travis, quit disrespecting the Houston Cougars. You're acting like Duke already won tomorrow night's game. How can you do that to Calvin Sampson and his guys? Those people have heart and they have strength, and they have fought tooth and nail to get where they're at, and they deserve your respect. Otherwise, here in Houston, we might make your show just the Bucks Sexton show. Oh, my goodness. The three shots. Taking shots. I think I can we. I know there was pronunciation police on the show yesterday, and I'm generally not the pronunciation police because I mispronounce everything. It's Kelvin. I think she called him Calvin. The head coach, Kelvin Sampson of the. Of the Houston Cougars. I think she might have just dis. While calling me out for disrespecting her team. I think she might have mispronounced his first name. I have a little respect for Kelvin. By the way, speaking of pronunciations, evidently you don't say tournament, right? And. And people got fired up about this yesterday. I think producer Greg pulled these clips during the pot. Stirring the pot over here, raked over the coals. I actually want to hear it to see how bad it is. Let me listen. My primary school in New York actually wrote about this on X. Used to require everybody in the winter season for sports to do wrestling. And I thought it was a great. It was great. No, I mean it. It was great. Like, it was. We all learned the basics and we had tournaments. Oh, yeah, that's. Well, see, I'm so used to it because that's just the east coast way people say tournament. Like, you guys missed. In my always humble opinion, you guys mispronounce like it's the NCAA tournament. It's not the NCAA tournament. So. But this is just east coast pronunciations. I mean, do you guys say the Tour de France because it's the tour of the France. Well, certainly in Red state America, we don't do French accents, period. So, you know, as I've said before, Cajuns, one of my point. One of my favorite places in Kentucky is Versailles, Kentucky, which is just the palace Versailles. But they pronounce it Versailles. And if you tried to say Versailles, Kentucky, I mean, they would. They would definitely not. We would not be popular with our South Bend listeners if we referred to it as the University of North Notre Dame. That is for sure. That is exactly right. That is exactly right. Like that. Let's get. By the way, I've got a pick for everybody before we. Oh, yeah, I forgot the prize pick. This is an easy winner. This is going to win. Prizepix.com Code Clay. We had Bruce Pearl on, so I didn't get a chance to give this. This is for the final four. Cooper flag Dukes all star, more than 14 and a half points. Janai Broom, Auburn's best biggest star, more than 14 and a half points. And Walter Clayton Jr. Florida's best player, more than one and a half threes. I think the stars are all coming out to play. That's a nearly 2 to 1 payout. We'll put it up@clayandbuck.com but if you're looking for a little bit more action in the final four. There you go. Cooper flag, Johnny, Janai Broom and Walter Clayton Jr. All more that will be up@clayandbuck.com if you are interested in playing along and you get 50 bucks, use code Clay. Sorry, Buck, but I wanted to get that out because we told people is coming. VIP listener Louis Buck, I heard you say so. Funny pronunciation. Police dominating the conversation. I heard you say tournament yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised that you pronounced it correctly. I grew up in Boston. That's how it's pronounced in the Northeast. Correctly, I might add. My daughter who has grown up in Idaho makes fun of the way we say it. I then ask her to pronounce tour or poor. It is pronounced tournament just like you pronounce it. This is turning into like a soda and pop throwdown. This is people really getting well. But everybody understands that. Let me give you an example. There are words that I mispronounce intentionally because I'll feel like an elitist if I pronounce them correctly. For instance, I'll give you1 that's 100% wrong. In Nashville, a lot of people would get a gyro. I know it's hero, but you pronounce it gyro. If you're like, hey, I need it, they'll have no idea what you're saying. Right? So there are certain words, but if I was in New York, I would pronounce it a different way. You gotta. I gotta learn to play the lay of the land. Greeks say euro. Yes. Yeah, totally. So. But here it's gyro. People have no idea what you're saying. You know, he's got a little gold chain. He's making gyros. Yeah. Hero is just like somebody who is saving the world. Like, Donald Trump is still paracalo. But, hey, thank you for holding down shop Monday and Thursday. And they raised over $2 million. Tunnel the towers did at the event I went to Monday. Incredible work by Frank Siller and Buck. Have fun out in Arizona speaking to everybody in Tucson next week. You become a dad. This is gonna be awesome. Gonna be a lot of fun. Appreciate all y'all. You know how we're always talking about what's next? Well, I found it. It's called Formula E. Forget everything you think you know about racing. This isn't just cars going fast.
