It's a story that really didn't need to happen, but radicalization in this country is happening faster than I feel like it's ever happened before. So by now you've likely heard that a 37 year old woman was shot and killed by ICE in Minnesota this week. There's an investigation underway, but the video shows the woman initially disobeying ICE orders. We obviously don't know how the whole day went, but we see the ICE agents stop her, go up to the window of the car. It appears as though they are asking her to leave her vehicle, and she tries to flee the scene. In the midst of fleeing the scene, she proceeds to run the vehicle into an officer who has his weapon drawn. He seems to, at that point, be prepared to argue with her in some way. They've asked her to get out. They're concerned about what her state of mind is. It appears he then fires into the vehicle and she ends up dying in this tragic exchange. Everyone right now is pointing fingers like, who's responsible? Is the woman responsible? Is ICE responsible? And I'm honestly here going, how does this even happen? How does a mother who sent her child to school that day then go hunt down ice? And don't come at me and say this is inflammatory rhetoric, because I am seriously asking that question. And we should all be asking that question, because all reports say that that's what happened. Somehow after hearing all this Somali fraud, everything that we've been hearing all week, because, remember, at the beginning of this week, and I have Kyle Olson here with me, remember, at the beginning of this week, we're hearing about the daycares, the fraudulent daycares. We're seeing these people come out with these expensive glasses that are getting all this taxpayer money. We're seeing these expensive cars having to be confiscated. $250,000 cars, purses, diamonds. People are being told they have to give back over $5 million. And. And we're hearing that this, this is $8 billion, at least, in fraud.
Kyle Olson
And the governor announcing he's not running for reelection.
Guest Commentator
Right.
Kyle Olson
And being very defensive when there's questions about whether or not he's going to actually resign his office.
Tudor Dixon
Right, right. So we're in the midst of all of this. Tensions are high in the state, is my point. There's a lot going on. You know, the federal government is investigating in the state. The, this woman, from what we understand, is new to the state, but for some reason in the morning, she wakes up and says, I want to go find ICE officers and stand in the way of them and their investigation into illegal criminals in my state, which, like I said, the. In all indicate, all reports indicate that she's new to Minnesota. They had, she and her wife had just moved there. You hear, actually, in one of the videos, you hear her wife saying, we're new here. We just got here. I think that this is indicating that they were actually New, totally new to the state. Her former father in law has now come out and spoken that he didn't know that they were even in Minnesota at the time. He thought they were visiting family in Kansas City. And he said that her, he's upset. Obviously the mother of his grandchild is gone, dead. But he did say she's always had these radical liberal views, like this is her personality. They've always attended these protests. This is a thing for this woman. But I would think that you would also know that it's incredibly dangerous. Anybody messing with law enforcement would have to know that this is incredibly dangerous. But the real kicker to me is that she is the only parent of this child because her husband, her former husband died in 2023. Again, all reports show that they were married at that time, that it says that he had a tragic death. We don't know what happened, but obviously there was some trauma involved. I'm sure it was traumatic for her. She's the only parent to this child. At some point in the last two and a half, three years, she meets this woman. Apparently they got married because the woman in the video refers to her as her wife and she has a six year old. Okay, so at what point, what has to happen to you in your life that you know your child has lost one parent and you would go out and put yourself in this kind of danger. And you see in the videos, as you're watching the videos beforehand, you see that the wife is out in the street recording her in the car, like this is, this is a plan. She wasn't there by happenstance. They went there, they went to find this because they're not from this area.
Kyle Olson
Right. And what we're seeing across the country and the latest obviously is Minnesota is these situations where ICE and federal agencies are doing these law enforcement operations. And then you've got these agitators, protesters, demonstrators, whatever you want to call them, actively attempting to disrupt that. And of course, then the problem is created, the problem that's created is then it's a very height, it's a, it's a very contentious situation where you've got people trying to disrupt a law enforcement operation. So you've got law enforcement trying to handle that and at the same time trying to do their job. And you know, the, the Midwesterner we've, we have written about law enforcement, some ICE operations that have happened in Detroit, for example. And you don't see this sort of show of force because there was not this sort of organized opposition, organized attempt to disrupt it. So then what you've got is you have the individuals doing the operation, but then you've got other individuals attempting to protect them and allow them to do the operation.
Tudor Dixon
There's gotta be somebody telling people where they are. You know, we remember there were those apps and they said, you can't have these apps. There has been this coordinated effort on the part of not just the media, to a certain extent the media, but elected officials on the Democrat side have been going after ice. They can't wear these masks, they can't be protected. This guy. Just. Also another side note, the, the gentleman who, the ICE officer who killed her had been dragged by a car in June. So this was something, you know, maybe, maybe he was on heightened alert because of that, and maybe you can make some conclusions about that as well. But he had received multiple stitches, he had an injury to his leg. So he had just experienced this. This is because these ICE officers are in incredible danger. I said, I think they said that the assaults on ICE officers have gone up like 1,300%. Something crazy. And we know just, even in the last two years, we talk the Police Officers association of Michigan all the time and the Police Officers association says their assaults are up 800%. The police officers, the rhetoric matters. And that's what I mean. It matters on both sides. So when you hear Democrats or you hear elected officials attacking ICE or attacking police, it gives these people the idea that they have to have some vigilante justice, that they have to be involved, that it is their job to be on the ground. Instead of them saying, we're going to fight the federal government, we're your representatives here in Congress, we're going to do something on the ground, or you should call your congressman. They tell people to go out in the streets. They tell them to do this.
Kyle Olson
Yeah. And effectively what they're doing, if you look at the stats from ICE and from Homeland Security, the vast majority of the people that are being apprehended are, I mean, have committed crimes, whether they are. And not just crossing the border illegally, but robberies, etc, murders, everything else. And whether it's here in America or it's their home country. And so those are the individuals, by and large. Have there been mistakes? Yes, of course, it's government, but by and large, those are the individuals that ICE is after. And so when you've got this situation where they're trying to go get a criminal out of the neighborhood and that's being disrupted, it's, it is not a good situation and then it ends up badly.
Tudor Dixon
So, so this is what we know. We know from where we are right now. And as we said, there's an investigation ongoing. Obviously, we're going to find out more as time goes on. But we know that these two women sought out ice. They went there on purpose because we hear the wife on camera say, I made her come here today. Which also tragic for that woman because she's clearly confessing that the other woman didn't want to do it. I mean, it's almost how the way you have to interpret that statement is that the other woman didn't want to because someone makes you do something, then you were kind of going against your will. So perhaps the woman who's the mom, she goes, I don't know if I want to put that in myself in that position. So you ask yourself, how does this happen? How does a young mom end up in this situation? There's a lot of peer pressure in these groups. There's a lot of peer pressure. So she's caught up with this group, and she's married to a woman who's obviously wanting to be out there in this protest. She ends up losing her life. So another witness on camera, we know this, also says that she's been blocking ICE all day. So we know that this isn't the first thing she's done because this woman says she's seen it happening all day. And actually, you can see she's a little uncomfortable with what she's saying on camera because she says she was effective at it, she was doing the job well. Because she almost can't get out of this mindset of whatever the. The activist cult is that they're in. Because it's like, the way she talks about it was like, this is our job. She did it really well. But she can have the reality in that moment to know that she's talking to someone who's going to put this out there and that the rest of the world doesn't think it's okay to block or impede an ICE officer, which is what she was doing. And we know this. It's on camera, she announces that she had seen this woman doing this all day. We know that the woman who died has three children. One she has custody of. The child she has custody of. She was the only parent. The father is deceased. As I said, he. He died in 2023. So why I. This is the thing that, like, has just been playing over in my mind as a mom, like, how. And I'm sad about it. How does this woman get involved in this? I get that she's, you know, listening to what the father in law said, that she's got these liberal ideals and she's always been a liberal. But there's a point when you go from a set of values to putting your life at risk to potentially orphaning your child willingly. How does that happen?
Kyle Olson
I don't know. And I think that's, this is, I think it's a moment where everyone should just sort of take a breath because we see a lot of very negative rhetoric when it comes to ice and when it comes to border patrol and what their intentions are. And I mean, just a lot of. And I know you've got some clips that are going to indicate that, but there's just a lot of very nasty, incendiary rhetoric that I think is heightening tensions and causing people to react in ways like we saw in Minneapolis.

So Tim Walls, we've got a clip of him talking about the whole situation, the investigation, and I want to play that for you because I think that the end of it. Tensions are so high that even when you see someone who's trying to say, oh, we should take a step back, he can't. Because listen to this.
Tim Walls
They have determined the character of a 37 year old mom that they didn't even know, don't know. They've determined that the actions are done. I don't know. I've not used inflammatory terms of what happened. I've asked us to find the answers. The only way we find the answers is, is a thorough investigation. I don't have a predetermined notion, yes, I saw the video. Yes, I saw that. But a thorough investigation will see what happened before that. It will take all factors in and it will come up with a fair and just conclusion. And we will accept that. Very, very difficult for Minnesotans to think in any way this is going to be fair. When Kristi Noem was judge, jury and basically executioner yesterday, that's very, very difficult to think that they were going to be fair.
Tudor Dixon
So he's going to have an open mind. But then he calls the Secretary of Homeland Security judge, jury and executioner and.
Kyle Olson
He said he hadn't used inflammatory rhetoric and then immediately did well And.
Tudor Dixon
And let's. So there's been some inflammatory rhetoric, so we'll go through some of this. He essentially says he's at war with the federal government. Here's that clip.
Tim Walls
Well, I said this yesterday. We've never been at war with our federal government. I think in this case, that the National Guard is their main mission. They have.
Tudor Dixon
He gets teary, which I struggle with him being teary in this statement. But I do think that this is somewhat of a psychological operation for them, because I do think that I'm playing these clips because I think this is kind of the way that they rally their base to go out and do more of this, to stay in the streets. Remember when Kamala was saying, stay in the streets, keep out there, stay out there. And they've been saying that to their base for years when they don't like what the government is doing. But this next one, I mean, man, he's calling it out. He's just calling out, calling for a civil war. Here it is.
Tim Walls
When things look really bleak. It was Minnesota's first that held that line for the nation on that July 3, 1863. And I think now we may be in that moment that the nation's looking to us to hold the line on democracy.
Tudor Dixon
I mean, what do you think when. When he calls that out, he is saying the nation is looking to us to start a civil war. Those are really, really inflammatory statements.
Kyle Olson
Yeah. And he's. He's referring to Gettysburg there. But I mean, that. That's. And see, that's the thing is. So then when. When leaders are talking like that and they're saying, you know, hold the line. I know there's some other clips, but when they're saying those sorts of things, then that's how people respond, and that's what they do. And then they. And then they. They make rash decisions, like we saw, that ends in a tragedy.
Tudor Dixon
Well, then he. So then the next clip of him is. He's talking just. I want to set this one up a little bit, because I think you have to understand when I say this is a psyop, this is a. This is truly to get into the psyche of people and tell them you should be afraid. You are in danger. What he is doing is setting this up so that if you are in Minnesota and you are on his side of the aisle or you're in the middle and you're wondering, he's telling you the only thing that can save you now is the National Guard here, which I can flip. I can turn them to work for us and protect you from the federal government. And he actually refers to Ruby Bridges and says, I mean, he's talking about sending kids into school with, I guess, National Guard protecting them. Here it is.
Tim Walls
Yeah. It's interesting, Dana, that you had asked that. We were just as we were coming in here discussing, someone asked about that and they mentioned Ruby Bridges, the Little Rock folks, about escorting people in. We have not determined that yet, but it is a situation that we're. We're going to have to explore. As I said, again, the thing that cut me deeply was watching what happened in our schools and the chaos. And I was on with Commissioner Jeff this morning as he's talking to folks from St. Cloud to Duluth about what they think about today. Should we be in classes today and tomorrow in those schools, or does it pose a potential risk? And so we're trying to figure that out. I think many of the things and the lessons we learned during COVID is local communities and local schools. Being able to make some of these decisions in the long run probably gets us better outcomes. But. But we are, we are deeply concerned with that. I'm going to come back as soon as we get any more information from all of you. We'll be in front of you again. I will reiterate, and I was. Many of you know, my, my wife Gwen, the first lady, is an English and literature teacher, and we were talking about, about some of this, and she got asked the question and it was being, when will all of this end? And what Gwen said, it will end when enough people say it will end. And I think that is sage advice. And then I couldn't help but thinking, and it scares me a little bit. I heard those words. We remembered, many of us in here in sophomore when we read it, that the party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most important directive. It certainly feels like that in this moment. And so I want Minnesotans to not believe that. I'm telling you not to be angry, not to be scared, not to be feeling a little bit hopeless in this moment.
Tudor Dixon
This is a man who was being called on to resign yesterday. Like the day before this happened, he was being called on for resign from office. You are so corrupt. And there is overwhelming evidence, in fact, people in the state who have knowledge of what's been going on with the fraud there, there's overwhelming evidence that he's involved with that. For him, this is a great situation to distract from that.
Kyle Olson
Well, and he's, he's. Wasn't he citing 1984 with the party. What is he talking about? What is he. What is he getting at?
Tudor Dixon
The crazy thing to me is that I believe that. Speaking of citing 1984, he. I believe that he is in a situation where the party has. The party is a, like, unit. The Democrat Party has become a unit. Remember when Hillary Clinton was running and Bernie Sanders was winning? They clearly went to Bernie and said, step out. And Bernie can say that he is a socialist, but I don't know, he ended up with, like, three houses and a bunch of stuff, and he just stepped out of the race. Pretty sure they were like, bernie, here's the green. Step aside. And he willingly did that. And I think that's how their party works. They saw what was happening. They saw the damage that Walls could do. They told him to step out of the race, and he did. So don't tell me that this is like, don't believe what your eyes are showing you. Hey, comrade, I will step out of the race.
Kyle Olson
But what does he think? Our eyes are not telling us what we saw or what is really happening? What is he. I guess I'm not understanding.
Tudor Dixon
It's a psychological operation. It's a manipulation of you. You're actually thinking about, like, what could he be saying? He is telling people, like, don't believe that there is a reason for ICE to be here. I mean, we have a clip, I think I put it in here, of Whoopi Goldberg, and she is saying that this could happen to any of you. This is the. This is what they're telling people. And, John, I don't know if you have that clip ready, but it is from the View.
Guest Commentator
Let's play that this is what is really gives me great hope. People are starting to recognize from whatever, wherever they voted from, that something is terribly wrong.
Tudor Dixon
And I.
Guest Commentator
And it makes me feel better, feel like I can take a breath, because for a long time it felt like, no, that people just thought we were, you know, just talking to waste air. But people are seeing things because everyone is affected by this. That young lady could have been anybody in this audience.
Tudor Dixon
Well, that's.
Guest Commentator
It doesn't matter what. Forget color. Forget it. It could have been anybody. And if they can do this to her, they can do it to you, too.
Tudor Dixon
So that's it. That's the psychological operation you've got here. You could have. You could be shot by them, too. The police could shoot you. You have to be out there in the streets. No, no, that could not happen to anybody in that audience, because hopefully, the message from the View Right now should be, do not try to impede ice. Do not put yourself in this position. But instead it is your government is after you. That is the same message that Tim Walls is, fight your government. It's a civil war. Minnesota's gonna stand at the front line. We're gonna protect you from them. This is the most dangerous rhetoric I have heard from a political party in my lifetime. They are actually calling on people to fight the Whoopi Goldberg in that same episode, she said she wants the UN to come because the United States has no government right now and someone needs to take over.
Kyle Olson
Well, but I think what I think she is, I actually think she's partly right. It could happen to anyone because if you are in a vehicle and a law enforcement agent determines that you are using the vehicle as a weapon, then that could happen to you.
Tudor Dixon
It absolutely. Could you do that?
Kyle Olson
Yes, but we're. And, but see what. There's so much spin and narrative that's going on. It's just, I mean, we saw this in Grand Rapids over the weekend. There was. There was a pro Maduro protest that took place in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. And a girl was one of the leaders of the protest. She had actually just come back, believe it or not, from Venezuela, where she met with Maduro, this 22 year old girl from West Michigan. And she is one of the leaders of the protest. And right at. She doesn't. She does a TV interview. Right after the interview, she gets arrested. And the narrative that was spun about that was she was arrested because she spoke out against Donald Trump and she was protesting and that's why she got arrested. No, she got arrested because she was blocking traffic in downtown Grand Rapids, which is. It's a busy place. And so there is just so much spin and rhetoric and narrative that is going on in, in all of these things. And so when Walls says there needs to be a thorough investigation and we need to know the facts. Yes, he's right.
Tudor Dixon
Let's take a quick commercial break. We'll continue next on the Tudor Dixon Podcast.

It's from a while back, but the lieutenant governor was telling people, I mean as you're hearing Governor Hochul and Kamala Harris and everybody trashing ice and telling people to stay in the streets. This is actually the lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan of Minnesota saying put your body on the line. Put your body on the line. So here she is.
Guest Commentator
Our neighbors are being disappeared.
Tudor Dixon
P.S.
Guest Commentator
Without due process, it is just called kidnapping. Then show up and use your voice. Put your body on the line.
Tudor Dixon
What do you think? I mean if you.
Kyle Olson
So that's what happened.
Tudor Dixon
Yes, that's what happened. Yes. Because. And I've had so many people say this to me, oh, they're going in and they're pulling kids out and they're putting them into prisons and they're disappearing them and they're kidnapping people. And this is not true. This is not true. And I do wish that we could hear more. And there is a site that shows you people that are being deported. It's called Deported. Deported News. Yes, Deported News. If you go there, you will see some of these stories. They are not. These are not. This is not the truth that you're hearing from the lieutenant governor there. But if you hear that, if you have someone who is quietly, in a motherly tone, telling you you've got to stand up for your neighbors who are being kidnapped and those. They use specific words to in. I mean, it is to inflame you. It is to make you upset, to make you go out there. And I mean, oh, gosh. I sent you guys a clip earlier of an old older woman who is screaming, I'm like your granny. And she's going, shoot me. Right in the faces of ICE agents, these are also people. I mean, that's the other thing that is so bizarre to me that we have created a scenario where people see someone in a uniform and they no longer see them as a human. And that's why. That's why ICE was wearing masks to protect themselves from being doxed and having people come after them and they are in danger. As I said, this officer had been dragged by a car just in June. We do have people out there in their face, spitting on them, yelling at them, trying to provoke them. And. And it goes back to people like Governor Hochul. I mentioned her earlier. She was out there today talking about ice, and this is what she. She says. They are harassing people or they're. They're scary. Here, let's play the clip of Governor Hochul.
Guest Commentator
I've asked the nice agent, why are you wearing the mask? When I was down there at the 26 Federal Plaza, I said, why do you wear the mask? No other law enforcement does this. Our police don't do it. Our FBI agents don't. Why are you doing this? And they said, because we get doxed, our family gets harassed, etc. Said, why do you think you are more than anybody else? I mean, come on. You're just trying to scare people. You're terrorizing people yourselves, and I don't want to see that. So we don't need that here. We're doing just fine in New York. The mayor and I will stand together and reject any efforts to try and militarize our streets. But they never should have been in Minneapolis in the first place.
Tudor Dixon
So you ask, how does a mom say, I'm gonna go out there and like be a vigilante and go up against these, our law enforcement. You've got the governor of New York who after a tragedy happens, goes on one of the most popular Libby morning shows and with all the libs that are all fired up, and she says, ICE is the only one. They're the only ones out there wearing these masks. And I asked them why and they say they're in danger. And she says, but they're the ones terrorizing people. They're terrorizing people. She essentially calls ICE agents terrorists. And then they go, we're not the ones saying bad things. We're not the ones riling people up. How do they not see this and say we don't want anyone else to die, we don't want any innocent mothers to go put themselves in harm's way because they don't know what these investigations are? That's, to me the most, the most depressing part about this is that this woman dies. She doesn't have any idea what the target was that day. She doesn't know what did she die for? Who was she protecting? For all she knows, it's someone who's bringing drugs in, someone who's raping children. These, the people that ICE has deported so far. The stories would curl your hair there so bad. And yet she goes out there to protect them, someone who would probably harm her.
Kyle Olson
That, that's what doesn't make any sense to me is there's, there's just this car, there's just this blanket defense and this assumption that ICE and the Border Patrol, etc are just, you know, doing all of these terrible things. And, and Peggy Flanagan, just so everyone is aware, she's running for the U.S. senate. So she wants to go. She's, she's currently Tim Walls's lieutenant governor. She wants to be a U.S. senator. And this is the sort of thing that she's saying. But they're just, they, they will defend apparently anyone and allow anyone to stay in the country and people, terrible people who absolutely should not be here.
Tudor Dixon
So this is my prediction. I'll just say this. I believe that Democrats who are running for federal offices this year will be just anti ICE all the way. That's what we're going to hear, that kind of rhetoric for the next 11 months, it'll be, we're going to, we're going to go after ice, we're going to shut down Homeland Security, we're going to get rid of Kristi Noem, we'll get rid of all these ICE agents. We will stop this. We're going to get the majority, and we're going to stop any type of deportation. But just so we're clear, that means they open the border. That means we go right back to Jocelyn Nungare, we go right back to Rachel Mohr, we go right back to women being killed. We go right back to drugs pouring into this country. And they like the chaos. They clearly like the chaos. They've all been out just seizing on this moment because what do they say? There's not a. They don't want to let any good moment go to waste.
Kyle Olson
Well, yeah, it's political power.
Tudor Dixon
This is political power. And that is the. That has been like, this takes away from what actually is happening in Minnesota, which I believe goes well beyond just the corruption of our taxpayers. Those of us who are paying like almost half of our salary back to the government just to buy somebody a $250,000 Porsche, it's pretty frustrating. But that is not just buying that person. Like, if they were just getting the Porsche, I'd be pissed. But they are also paying Democrats to run for office with my money. So now I'm even more mad. And as mad as I am about that, I am not going to Tim Wall's house and sitting outside and getting in the face of his protection like that would be, because there are ways to handle this. And I believe that if we do it the right way, through investigations and through indictments and putting people in jail and kicking people out that shouldn't be here, then we can solve this problem. But I do think that it is much further and much wider than we know. I believe that this fraud has not only given money to Democrats to get them elected, but I think there's also voter fraud involved. And I am confident that this administration will look into it. And I am also confident that this psychological operation that the Democrats are running right now and this psyop that they're going to run on you to hate ICE is their best attempt at preserving their power.
Kyle Olson
I agree.
Tudor Dixon

Episode Date: January 9, 2026
Hosts: Tudor Dixon, with guest Kyle Olson
Podcast: The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show (iHeartPodcasts)
This episode of The Tudor Dixon Podcast delves into the recent fatal shooting of a woman by ICE agents in Minnesota. Tudor Dixon and guest Kyle Olson analyze the event, its surrounding political rhetoric, the increasing radicalization witnessed in protests against law enforcement, and the broader implications for both state and national politics. The conversation centers on how charged narratives from both media and political figures contribute to dangerous confrontations and polarization.
Timestamps: 01:55 – 07:17
Incident Recap:
Tudor recounts that a 37-year-old woman, newly relocated to Minnesota, was shot and killed by ICE after reportedly disobeying commands, attempting to flee, and striking an officer with her vehicle. The hosts stress that details are still emerging but scrutinize the motivations and choices involved.
"How does a mother who sent her child to school that day then go hunt down ICE?... I'm seriously asking that question. And we should all be asking that question."
— Tudor Dixon (02:10)
Context and Background:
The woman and her wife were new to Minnesota and purposefully sought out ICE operations to disrupt. Family reports indicate longstanding radical activism.
Personal Circumstances:
The deceased had a six-year-old child for whom she was the sole caregiver, as her ex-husband tragically died in 2023. Tudor questions how a single mother comes to risk her life in this way.
Minnesota Under Scrutiny:
Recent state scandals involving daycare fraud and political resignations have heightened tension and distrust.
Timestamps: 07:17 – 11:21
National Patterns:
Kyle notes increasing nationwide efforts to disrupt ICE and other law enforcement operations, contrasting current confrontational activism with more passive protests in other Midwestern cities previously.
Organization and Agitation:
Both hosts speculate about coordinated efforts, possibly aided by information apps and active encouragement by political or media figures.
Risks to Law Enforcement:
Tudor highlights that attacks on ICE have soared, noting one officer involved had previously been injured in a similar encounter.
"The rhetoric matters. And that's what I mean. It matters on both sides. So when you hear elected officials attacking ICE or attacking police, it gives these people the idea that they have to have some vigilante justice."
— Tudor Dixon (09:31)
Peer Pressure and Group Dynamics:
Peer pressure within activist communities is cited as a factor for escalating risks, particularly for vulnerable individuals.
Timestamps: 14:20 – 27:13
Governor Tim Walz’s Statements
Multiple clips from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are played, analyzed, and critiqued for their potentially inflammatory nature.
On the Shooting Investigation:
"They have determined the character of a 37 year old mom that they didn't even know, don't know. They've determined that the actions are done... I've not used inflammatory terms of what happened...the only way we find the answers is a thorough investigation."
— Governor Tim Walz (18:25)
Tudor counters he then immediately uses heated rhetoric:
"So he's going to have an open mind. But then he calls the Secretary of Homeland Security judge, jury and executioner..."
— Tudor Dixon (19:14)
Call to 'Hold the Line':
Walz references Minnesota’s historical role and frames the moment in civil war-like language:
"When things look really bleak, it was Minnesota’s first that held that line for the nation on July 3, 1863. And I think now we may be in that moment that the nation's looking to us to hold the line on democracy."
— Governor Tim Walz (20:25)
Tudor’s response:
"He is saying the nation is looking to us to start a civil war. Those are really, really inflammatory statements."
— Tudor Dixon (20:39)
National Guard and Psychological Operations:
Walz discusses deploying the National Guard for school protection and invokes literary references (notably 1984) to frame the public mood as an existential or psychological struggle.
Media Rhetoric: The View & Whoopi Goldberg
A clip from "The View" is discussed where Whoopi Goldberg claims the shooting could happen to anyone:
"That young lady could have been anybody in this audience… If they can do this to her, they can do it to you, too."
— Whoopi Goldberg (26:40)
The hosts criticize such narratives as scaremongering, insisting the actual message should be not to interfere with law enforcement investigations.
Timestamps: 33:13 – 37:30
Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan:
A previous clip is played where Flanagan urges protestors to "put your body on the line" (33:15). Dixon and Olson argue this directly contributed to activists recklessly confronting ICE.
Governor Kathy Hochul (NY):
Hochul’s comments questioning ICE agents’ use of masks and painting them as threats are critiqued as demonizing federal law enforcement.
"She essentially calls ICE agents terrorists... How do they not see this and say we don't want anyone else to die?"
— Tudor Dixon (36:03)
Timestamps: 37:30 – End
Political Utility of Chaos:
Tudor connects the current events to ongoing fraud scandals and suggests Democratic leaders are using such moments to distract from their own vulnerabilities or to mobilize their base ahead of the 2026 elections.
Predictions for 2026 Campaigns:
Dixon forecasts anti-ICE rhetoric becoming central to upcoming Democratic campaigns.
"I believe that Democrats who are running for federal offices this year will be just anti ICE all the way...They like the chaos. They clearly like the chaos."
— Tudor Dixon (38:11)
Personal Reflection and Call for Lawful Reform:
Tudor, distinguishing her own frustration from activism, advocates for resolving issues through official investigations and legal means rather than public confrontation.

The discussion is direct, impassioned, and skeptical of mainstream liberal narratives. Tudor and Kyle blend analysis, speculation, and polemic, frequently pointing to what they view as the real-world dangers of heated rhetoric from politicians and media figures. The hosts emphasize their preference for legal process and official investigation over direct action and vigilantism.
For listeners seeking to understand the underlying dynamics of the Minnesota ICE shooting, the tense intersection of law enforcement and activism, and the role of political rhetoric in fueling national division, this episode offers a critical, right-leaning perspective.
