This series of mixes is a culmination of 20 years digging throughout the most desolate and rural parts of Northern New Mexico unearthing and showcasing the eclectic music and diverse subculture that this area attracted in the 60's-80's . Part one explores ambient,spiritual, experimental and new age sounds from the high desert. During the archival process, contact was made with several of these artists featured, some of whom graciously contributed music from their vintage archives for this series, many of which are mixed and layered in an artistic fashion, akin to the sample/ loop based productions I am currently working on, and hint at future works in progress.
