Today I'm joined by the wonderful Alexa Linton! We reflect on anticipatory grief, what we can do to better prepare ourselves (especially as horse owners) for the inevitable, and how advanced planning can actually soften the waves of grief. --- Alexa Linton is a life-long horse lover, Equine Sport Therapist of 20 years, host of the Whole Horse Podcast, now in it’s 8th season, facilitator, author, and creator of the Whole Horse Apprenticeship, a 6 month equine wellness immersion program, and most recently, Outside the Box Equine, an educational hub for species-specific horse keeping. Her vision is to support a change worldwide in horse keeping practices towards more species-specific care, ethically informed training and riding, and a more collaborative approach to being with and sharing our lives with horses. She lives with her partner Patrick, her three horses, two dogs, and cat on a 5 acre property in the Cowichan Valley where she has built an ever-evolving paddock paradise track system for her herd, Diva, Raven and Gwynna. Her vision is to build a horse-keeping demonstration site implementing species-specific elements that work for the Pacific Northwest, to inspire horse owners and equine practitioners in skill-building workshops, and immersive retreats to shift their horse spaces by showing what is possible. Join me as I share the biggest lesson my beloved cat, Silas, has taught me - how to love deeply while holding with open hands. How to find a sense of surrender, release, and trust in the unknown. Especially in the moments it feels most challenging. Cited poetry: "In Blackwater Woods," Mary Oliver Daily Haiku, Tyler Knott Gregson --- https://linktr.ee/cosmic_heartline

Elsa is back, and we continue a conversation we started on her podcast in the fall of 2025, reflecting on the quantum power of patience. Patience is present with us through many transitions in life -- from growth and transformation, to grief and death. --- Find Elsa on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elsamjanney/ Our Episode on Elsa's Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0tF0kvIMZGOgjxscBzTUoz?si=b0575fff995c43e7 Cosmic Heartline: http://cosmicheartline.com

Symbols hold great meaning for us, and they can take an especially important role during our journeys with grief. What symbols mean the most to you? Do they help you feel grounded, calm, or something else? Join me for a brief reflection on the power of symbols and their pertinent role during our walks with grief. --- Cosmic Heartline: https://www.cosmicheartline.com/

In today's episode of the pod, I'm joined by dear friend and colleague, Kat HoSoo Lee. We talk about all things transformation and transmutation, reflecting particularly on the energy of the Fire Horse and what the energy of Fire will bring to the year ahead. This conversation is a little different than most of the ones here on the pod so far, but it is one of my favorites. --- The Interbeing Magazine: https://www.interbeingmag.com/ Cosmic Heartline: https://www.cosmicheartline.com/

Welcome back (again) to season 2 of the podcast! After an unplanned hiatus, I am so happy to be resuming season 2 of The Cosmic Heartline Podcast. Cosmic Heartline launched into the public space on February 12, 2025. Since then, a lot has happened. The journey has been different than I expected, but, of course, it has been exactly what it needed to be. Join me as I reflect a bit on what the past year has been, and share the energy that is this medicine and the work of Cosmic Heartline as we anchor back into this space. ----- Cosmic Heartline: https://www.cosmicheartline.com

Dr. Tracy Rainwaters returns to the pod! She joins me in conversation as we reflect on the evolution of the death process. Tracy became integral to the unfolding of Phoenix's death transition, and she joins me in sharing how Phoenix's energy and communication evolved as she approached the threshold of her death. Tracy shares some more of her own reflections in the wake of the unexpected death of her beloved dog Soonie, and we also speak of grief, surrendering to the process, and the personal journeys we've each had as a result of our individual grief processes. ---- Tracy Rainwaters: https://tracyrainwaters.com Cosmic Heartline: http://bit.ly/41X1Rvb

In what is probably my most rambly podcast yet, I reflect on Time in the death process - our relationship with it, the role it can play, the weight we can choose to give it (or lay down). These thoughts are far from polished, but I decided to publish this episode anyway: inviting you all in to my own personal process with grief and the death process. Perhaps, if nothing else, it reminds us all that it's never neat and tidy, but a process of flow, trust, and diving deep within. --- For all things Cosmic Heartline: linktr.ee/cosmic_heartline

Welcome back to Season 2! This first episode back is a bit of a ramble through some reflections on Liminal Space -- the experience we often find ourselves in while navigating a grief portal. I hope you enjoy! Next week we'll have our first guest of season 2, plus the BRAND NEW pod theme song will be debuted! I can't wait to share it with you all. ---- All things Cosmic Heartline: http://bit.ly/4ljTwsE
