Quentin and the Shogun discuss the monumental shift taking place in film and tv, as the actors join the writers on the picket lines.

We go in depth on the games that were showed off during Summer Games Fest at the Xbox and Playstation Showcases. As usual, a wild ride

The WGA strike is in full effect! The stand off between the writers and the AMPTP is heading towards its second month. The producers are probably hoping that time weakens the resolve of the writers who are going to be desperate for some funds considering most writers in Hollywood live paycheck to paycheck. What they fail to realize is that writers have been struggling for a long time. Tv shows go on hiatus, or worse they get cancelled, writers are adept at finding ways to survive despite meagre opportunities. It remains to be seen just how impactful this strike will be in the long run. One of the bigggest issues on the table is the emergence of AI and how studios and streaming services are going to use them in the future. We discuss our thoughts and opinions on that and so much more in the episode!!!

As a writer's strike looms over Hollywood once more, studios are as desperate as ever to feed us the same shit they've given us before, repackaged as a TV show. Because Streaming means quantity over quality. Yes, harry potter is being rebooted. Not just that either, A twilight sequel seems to be on the cards, as well as a Moana live action film. Why? Because easy money is more important to those fuckers than putting out quality art that builds new audiences and communities and creates new franchises.

In the chillest episode of the podcast yet, we talk about writing, poetry and life with our very special, very talented, super awesome guests: Dshamilja Roshani and Shanice Ndlovu.

Disclaimer: we had some audio issues on this one, but we promise in the moments that it clears up There are some gems of knowledge that Q and Zoë drop to make this an essential listen. The Last of US is frighteningly good right now. Joined by special guest, Zoë De Sousa, we dive into what makes the show so good for us. Please give us a listen.... and remember: Look for the Light.

We're back bitches. We give our thoughts on DC's recently revealed slate and discuss how we see James Gunn and Peter Safran's world shaping up. We briefly touch on the last of us as well, and the homophobic reaction to episode 3.

We interview the hyper talented ladies collectively known as Yamoria. Blessed poets, actors and artists that we are glad we had the honor of talking to about their journeys, and the influence of Native American culture on who they have become.

Q sits with Ace and Feyo to discuss the nuances of the past, present and potential future of Anime as well as the mainstream appeal it currently has.

The Dabblers are back. Maybe. Sort of... we'll see if we can upload pods on a consistent basis but today we are talking about the big Mactaverse, yes you read that right. McDonald's but virtual. What the fuck that means, who the fuck actually knows? But it will be weird. After we talk writing, keep your eyes on the horizon because the two idiots that host this show are going to be releasing a collection of short stories very very soon. It shall be experimental, fun, and completely our own little thing. We have to get the stories done though....
