You know, without fail, I always get my username or password wrong the first time. Every time at the usb.
A
The crazy part is then you make a new password and when you make a new password they say, oh, you can't use a previous one. I'm like, I think that wasn't the previous one.
B
I get it wrong every time.
A
Every single time.
B
It's like the usb. It's right then wrong then right or wrong than right. Yeah, you know what I mean? You had it right the first time. So anyway, I'm Covino, that is Rich and who cares about my complaints. Today is our official three year anniversary.
A
Thanks for hanging with us for the last three years.
B
Three years here on this time slot and we be rocking out, celebrating the weekend, celebrating three years of awesome with you, Fox Sports Radio Nation and our very own super producer Danny G. Who we couldn't do it without, prepared a bunch of fun montages and looks back in the past three years of awesome and it's been a great ride so far and what a perfect fit. What a blessing Fox Sports Radio has been for us. Now if you're new to the show.
A
I mean, hell, hopefully this is only the first leg of the road trip. Hopefully we're here for quite a bit.
B
Yeah, that's the plan. So three of many. But we started at Fox Sports, became part of the Fox Sports Radio family about five years ago, but we were doing weekends for the first two years and, and then full time at this slot three years ago today. Together Rich and I have been working over 20 years, but still the youngest in the game.
A
Don't say that. I mean it's deceptive because we started working together, no joke, in our early 20s. So when we were 12, actually 19.
B
But of all the ups and downs and reach arounds and everything else.
A
Whoa. What?
B
Fox Sports Radio has been the most fun that we've had since well, since forever, man.
A
Yeah, man. We have a lot of fun here. And I will say this. Having a lot of fun, love hanging with you throughout the day. We'll be reminiscing like the Little River Band, right? Over the last three years.
B
And so listen out, because if he called in our show and you had a fun moment or you remember a fun moment, you know, you might hear something that you're a part of or that you might say, hey, I remember hearing that. And you remember where you were. So thanks for partying with us and celebrating us without throughout the day.
A
And you know what? If you want to see what the two knuckleheads you listen to every day look like, we're streaming live right now on YouTube on what's up everybody? YouTube.com Ovino and Rich FSR hope everyone's.
B
Having a glorious Friday.
A
You know, I went to the DMV this morning. It was time to re up my license, and I had to get the real id, which is what we all have to get now, or else you have to fly with your passport, even nationally, right? That added a pain in the ass to the excursion. Like regular license renewals. Not hard. But if you have to get that real ID for the first time, just giving everyone the heads up, it's an extra step. I did that, like, six years ago.
B
When it was first available because my license expired. So I just went ahead and did it. That's what most people did. That's Iowa, Sam, everybody.
A
You knuckleheads act like you're the smartest guy in the room every time. Spot. I got it when it first was available. Why did I need a real ID? Why did I need a real ID 5, 10 years ago? I don't even know what they've been.
B
Warning you for probably about five to 10 years. Rich is like, Mr. Bungle. He just got it done. Don't be like Mr. Bungle. It's like the realized Goofus and Gallant. Rich is Goofus and Sam is Gallant. Thank you, guys.
A
You guys are great.
B
Sam's the greatest.
A
I'm gonna join the real ID club.
B
We got spot on the videos we got. Perfect.
A
Hey.
C
I was gonna say, like, they just gave it to me. I didn't even realize it when they gave it to me when I got my id. Well, my driver's license, I didn't even know. It was like, I. I got asked the other day is like, okay, but my. My mom's like, oh, no, we gotta make sure you have it before you fly. I'm like, I already have it. I don't even know how I got it.
A
Some people I think may have just renewed their license at the right. My birthday's coming up and I looked at my license and I'm like, oh, damn, 2025, that's now. It felt like very futuristic when I probably got the license. Like, oh, it's good until 2025. Oh crap, we're here.
B
So we are here and it's our anniversary and we hope you had a great Thursday night. A Seattle Seahawks sort of Thursday. That game was buns and I'm quoting Scott Van Pelt, that game was buns until it wasn't because it was closer toward the end, 23:20 over the Cardinals. And we hope you enjoyed that. As we get ready for a weekend full of football, we're going to talk give you some picks plus Rich's big TV game of the week.
A
I got hypotheticals, I have questions. We'll do reminiscing like you said. But real quick, about last night. A two layer question, three layers shy of the dip your girlfriend makes for football.
B
Oh, good one. You make fun of my jokes. Good one, bro.
A
I at least fake laugh at your jokes. I give you a little chuckle here and there. Thanks. Peewing. Really good. Um, two layer question. Do you think even though take away the money, which is I guess then that really ruins the question, but take away the $246 million. I'm sorry, the $230 million with an annual annual salary of 46 mil for Kyler Murray. Do you think there's a part of him that's like, I wonder what it been like if I played baseball instead?
B
Yeah, if you would have stuck with.
A
The Athletics, I mean, trust me, the money would probably tell you. No, he's happy. But I wonder if performance wise, do you think he's like, you know, would have been pretty cool to play baseball instead of getting beaten up and lose and not be great.
B
The camera moved off him quickly after that winning field goal was made. But he looked disgusted. He looked hot.
A
Yeah, I just feel like the Cardinals and I, you know, with all due respect, Arizona, I love our friends in the Phoenix Scottsdale area.
B
In fact, we're going to see a Cardinals game in November and we are.
A
We're going to see the Niners Cardinals. Can't wait. But I just don't think he's the answer. I feel like they're just going to putter along for, for a few more years and there may be a little hope here and there. Maybe a the wild card Chase but.
B
That'S an awkward place to be if you're the Cardinals because they invested in them.
A
I know.
B
So it's like marrying the wrong one.
A
I do wonder.
B
That's really what it is.
A
I do wonder.
B
They married him essentially, but now they got to deal with them. So it's a matter of you're in the marriage now. You got to make the most of it somehow.
A
So that was layer one of my questions. Layer two, is there anything sadder and I feel bad sort of for this guy. Is there anything sadder than the super fan of the team that loses having to walk out of the stadium? They keep showing a picture of the guy with the face paint, with the cardinal, red face painting.
B
Actually, that was a pretty good paint job.
C
The beak on his face, that was.
A
Guy painted a beak on. He has a red and yellow face. I almost feel that way when you see the superfans of like Danny G's Raiders, like, imagine being in the black hole and you're some badass with spikes on after that game, if you lose, you're just sort of walking out. Like, know what I remember? There were two jabronis dressed up like astronauts during a Houston Astros playoff game. And I remember thinking, those idiots got to walk home now. Just like they're out of Apollo 13.
B
I mean, the Halloween costumes are one thing. When you paint your face, that's what takes it over the top. And they lose. That's insult to injury.
A
That was a sad cardinal.
B
I know. Yeah, yeah.
A
And he had.
B
You saw the paint was like dripping on his jersey. You know, it is just the modern day thrill of victory, agony of defeat. And you see some dumb ass with face paint on. All sad. And Rich is right. That was everywhere. It was so viral. This one. Sad, like, face painted cardinal.
A
There's only a few things that are more humiliating. And I don't know why I thought of this. Remember the movie Euro Trip? Scotty doesn't know and Scotty's there and he has to watch. He has to watch Matt Damon sing Scotty doesn't know. And he's like, I'm Scotty.
B
Pretty embarrassing.
A
What a loser moment. And I feel bad for this guy, but not. And Spot. Thank you for putting the picture on our YouTube chat.
B
Right now you can actually see everything we're talking about again on our YouTube page. Covino Enrich FSR on YouTube. Covino C O V I N O Covinoenrich FSR on YouTube. Follow Subscribe. Send it to a friend. It costs nothing. You can watch it later. And of Course, you can stream our podcast wherever you stream your podcast. But, yeah, pretty miserable. A little too early for Halloween, but, hey, that's fandom, man. That's how it works. You lose some.
A
Have you ever.
B
The game was Buns. It was. It was a boring game. I can't pretend like I was on the edge of my seat. Watch that until the end, because otherwise it was boring. I was snoring.
A
I was watching baseball. Honestly, people, last night, 17, 3.
B
For.
A
For most of, like, I felt like at 1 point, 17, 3. And I'm like, this is. You're right. Bun.
B
Game was buzzed. The game was.
A
That was Covino.
B
So it was.
A
My question is, before we go to the montage, I know we're going to play some montages throughout the day, celebrating three years.
B
We're also going to talk about a list. Rich.
A
Yeah.
B
And I want people to stick around for this.
A
Yeah.
B
Because it's sort of an induction of sorts. I call it the Nickelback list.
A
Oh, I know what the list you think of.
B
Unwarranted hate list.
A
Oh, yeah.
B
I think we're going to add someone else here. He's turned into the punching bag, and I could see why, but at the same time, his resume is more stellar than most.
A
And we'll explain the Nickelback list. Nickelback. We'll go over some bets, we'll go over some picks. But before we play montage number one of our. Of our life here at Fox Sports Radio, Danny, by the way, thanks for putting these things together. I got to ask around the room. We're all big sports fans. Have you ever wore something to a game where you're like, oh, if they don't win, I'm gonna. I'm gonna feel like a weenie walking out of here. I don't feel like you would. But imagine if you, like, pinstripe your face like a Yankee baseball.
B
I've never done that. I am wearing some Bronx Bombers gear right now, courtesy of bald Vinnie, who's the king of the bleacher creatures, as we get fired up. Because every game counts right now. But as far as, like, face paint and pinstripes and. No, I've never. No. But that's fanatical. That's the crazy fans. I would consider myself a very normal guy with normal fandom.
A
In college, the most I did was I went to Syracuse, and me and seven other buddies, I had to count the letters for a second, spelt out Syracuse. So we would go to the Carrier Dome shirtless, and I was the sea. And there were some sad moments. Walking back to the dorm rooms of.
B
My college house for cornball. Right?
A
That's. Oh, C. Blocker. Yeah. See? Blocker.
B
Good.
A
Besides, I mean, as an adult, it's got to be a little more humiliating. So hopefully you enjoyed your Thursday Night Football. It got exciting for, like. Like you said, the last few moments. But congrats to Dan by Seahawks. They moved to 3 and 1 and great job in a pretty decent position moving forward. Right? So we'll see what happens with the NFC west with the Niners and the Rams this week. And I think it's time, Kof.
B
It is time. And we hand it over to our guy, the super producer of the show, Danny G, who's gonna explain how you can get your hands on a CNR Nerf football. Take a listen. First, we gotta thank everybody here at Fox Sports Radio. Hell, yeah. The affiliates, the sponsors, and of course, the listeners. So we're gonna thank you back right now for a wonderful three years. If you call during this audio collage in the next 10 minutes, I'm gonna answer as many studio lines as I can, and I will put you on our list, the mailing list for CNR Nerf football. So unlimited Nerf footballs today, as long as you get in on the studio.
A
And be dialing 87799 on FOX if you want to. Cavino and Rich, Nerf football on our anniversary. It's a. Anniversary, fellas.
B
Happy anniversary. Happy anniversary to you. Today marks three years on FSR's afternoon drive. Wow. Three years. I can't believe it. Flying just like this. You know why? Because we're having so much fun. Thank you, guys.
A
Three years on Fox Sports Radio already. If we were dating, I. I'd want a ring by now.
C
Happy anniversary, Covino and Rich.
B
I always enjoy your show. It's first thing on whenever I get off work, and it just lifts my day. You're connecting with your buds in the biggest way. I bet you got a group text right now, a group chat going on right now at all your 49ers friends.
A
You're about. Did you say 49ers?
B
No, I said 49. Jeez. You like the 49ers?
A
Jeez, I think the. The fun. The fun is hell.
B
Like the 49ers. Whoopi Goldberg, she farted on the View. She looked guilty to me.
A
She.
B
Somebody farted on the View.
A
The lovely Mony Banos. What's going on, Mon?
B
Hey, Mon.
A
All right, guys.
B
The Masters is going on. Dan Byer enjoying his little holiday at home.
A
How do you picture him? Do you picture him in his undies on the couch?
B
No, I don't picture him in his undies.
A
I do all the time. I think he has like a cosplay.
B
In a green jacket. I think he just sits there like that's what it is.
A
Like he's actually in Augusta. That's him.
B
Absolutely.
A
He makes his wife dress like a caddy. Like, hold on. Sounds hot.
B
I was just curious if you guys had this too. We called it Cheesy Dunkers, but it's basically a hot dog bun opened up with melted cheese on top and then they gave you like a side of marinara sauce to dip. Cheesy Dunkers. It sounds like Rich playing basketball. Oh, man.
A
Cheesy Dunkers.
B
Wow.
A
What am I dumb about?
B
Just to troll you. What are. What aren't you dumb about? Self aware.
A
Ever been?
B
Yeah.
A
Know what? I discussed this morning with these guys. They didn't believe. I'm going to bring.
B
No, please don't bring this up here.
A
I'm going to use. Please don't. I'm bringing this up everywhere until I get support.
B
You're not going to. You're not going to get.
A
And by the way, just for the. I wasn't high or drunk. I told my wife she doesn't know how to blow out a candle properly.
B
Oh, she.
A
She blow. I saw.
B
By the way, his. His. His wife is over one year old. By the way, just so you know.
A
She bought a candle as if she was blowing out 40 birthday candles. Like. And I'm like, you're going to splash wax. You're go do embers from the wick. Finesse. Like you like finesse.
B
I don't even. Is this really, like, you're really going.
A
To lean into this?
B
We get two hours.
A
You want to talk about this? Forget. I'll move on. I'll move on.
B
You want to talk about again, Imagine the. The draft prospects being asked that by teams they're interviewing.
A
If I'm interviewing how you blow up. Caleb Williams. Caleb Williams, Sit down for a second. Blow out this candle with Drake May. I want to know what you would do with this. Hey, Marvin Harrison Jr. Before we, before we commit to, you know, making the move come Thursday night, blow out this candle. Oh, he's the guy.
B
Kid is sidelined to sideline and he blows out.
A
Dude, this guy runs a 40 and he knows how to blow out a candle. Yikes. I am Rich Davis and I am a huge weenie. Not in my pants. Well, it's not quite that big. I've seen it. Do you know my confirmation name, you got to pick it where I grew up. Like, I chose Joseph because of Joe Montana.
B
Oh, I thought because of you had an amazing technicolor dream coat. I chose Thomas after my grandfather Tomas. So I. I was supposed to be Javier, but the clergy. Clergyman.
A
Javier was my confirmation name.
B
What? That makes sense.
A
But the clergyman that was doing this ceremony, he called me Xavier. And I'm like, no, it's Javier. He's from, like. I think he was from Argentina or something.
B
So wait, you say you picked like a saint, right? Is that what you. Javier, bro. Are you serious?
A
I always say I'm Javier.
B
It's his confirmation name.
A
Samuel Javier, Spain.
B
By the way, that might be the funniest thing I ever heard.
A
Francis Xavier.
B
Xavier a long time ago. Now I'm going to say Javier L. Johnson.
A
What's up, Dan Meyer?
B
You know, I'm more on the Pope talk. This is the one video clip that they put on wgn. Cubs or White Sox fan? Yeah. He was never, ever a Cubs fan, so I don't know where that came from. He was always a Sox fan. Wow.
C
Not like, what was it like growing.
B
Up with the Pope or having him as your brother? Can you imagine Harold Baines and guys like Carlton Fisk? Like, yeah, he was a fan of me, the Pope.
A
Frank Thomas is like, and the Pope likes me, too.
B
And the Pope likes me, too.
A
What's going on, fellas? First, I just wanted to say, love listening to you guys. It's like we're just talking to the boys. It's a great show. Oh. Not trying to sound disrespectful, but I think the best thing post Covid is that they brought back the syrups at ihop.
B
Not that people weren't dying anymore. The syrups are ihop. Syrups are back.
A
No, Danny, I went to ihop.
B
We get to work again, but the syrups are back.
A
I taught my kids to do this. It's a tradition. If you don't sample each syrup, I taught my kids.
B
You're proud of this? You're passing this down to Gener.
A
My daughter. I got Emmy. I go, emmy, this is what you got to do at ihop. She's like, what, Dad? I go, you gotta take your spoon.
B
And be gross, and you gotta eat.
A
One at a time.
B
Diabetes. Wilford Brimley has entered the chat.
A
This is ridiculous. Yeah, that's not why you have so much energy.
B
Diabetes. Thank you, Wilford. Not only has Rich never been to a winning postseason baseball game or super bowl victory or anything, of great importance. He goes, you were there when Jimmy G broke his leg.
A
Oh my God, I was.
B
So, you know, Rich is sort of bad luck. That's why I say I give you credit for still going.
A
What about the comments on our feedback saying the Yankees were predicted to possibly go to the World series again and win where Cal Raleigh has carried this team? Because judge, isn't that value?
B
He surpasses his own expectations still.
A
No, no.
B
If he surpasses how great judges downplaying what he's able to accomplish. You're taking that for granted. Look at those numbers. He's going to have four consecutive 50 plus home runs.
A
No one's backing you up on the feedback.
B
I don't care. Let them then host with them.
A
This is the Cavino Rich show.
B
I need, I need their approval. I feel very confident in what I'm saying. Oh.
A
For all I know, I would have been in the pros. I would have been David Wright instead of David Wright.
B
You gotta be kidding me with this guy.
A
He's in the big leagues. Oh, I gotta be honest. I listen to a lot of sports radio and you and Covino got something good. Oh, Danny G's great too.
B
Steven, you have the best show on Fox Sports radio. Your show's number one. And you're the most handsome guys on radio. Who, me? I hope mama will Rich's mom know.
A
Do you know you took us kids to a couple different stadiums in Fenway park in Boston? What is the left field wall?
B
I. I say she does know.
A
Yes, the big wall. No, no, not the big wall. No, no.
B
Oh, that's from China.
A
The big wall. That's the great wall. The green monster. That's it.
B
Yep.
A
China.
B
Rich, you did it again, man. You're turning into Donald Trump meets Ryan Seacrest. You can't stop Shohei Otani to a tag o Valia. Shut your pie hole. Hear me out.
A
Know your role and shut your mouth. You jabroni, you gotta fight for your right. Giboni.
B
Yeah, Kelsey, I feel it was very Chris Farley a la black Sheep where he's just shouting things just to get an applause and arise out of the crowd.
A
Do you remember the this clip? You got to fight for your right to vote.
B
Yeah.
A
Woo. Yeah. Kelsey. Kelsey, what is he going to say? One small scat for man, one giant.
B
I have a dream.
A
Yeah, Jesus. Yes. Jesus. There you go.
B
Yeah. Chill down there, kelsey. I'm on TV right now. I think they went public in 2017, not Ohio State. Where was he?
A
Where was she from?
B
He started at Ohio State.
A
Yeah, dude, beat it.
B
Beat it. Fact checker. Rich, you're out of here. Yeah, seriously, his face.
A
I don't want his face looking at my face.
B
To the Bachelor. You're bothering me. Me? They've been together for a long time, bro. Any other freaking corrections? That got too. Oh, the frustration. Wow.
A
I got Camino so mad he had to be beeped.
B
Hey, you know what? Hear what I really said on the podcast. If you want to know what I said next.
A
He got the packers at home three point favorites. And enjoy all this. Grab some TDs, some with DraftKings sportsbook. TDs.
D
He said what?
A
Now on sale from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. Download the Draft King sportsbook app.
B
And. And you're in a relationship or whatever, you want to be happy in that relationship and you want your partner to be happy, too. So I'm just saying try to bring your breast. Your breast. I mean, I mean, yours are looking great in that. That shot. Thank you. Oh, my God. You really brought them. I got moves.
A
Everyone was pumping their fists. Snooki, Pauly D. The situation. Yeah, we don't pump our. Yes, we pump our fist.
B
Yeah. O. Yeah.
A
O. Yeah.
C
I've gotten in trouble listening to you.
A
Guys because I pull over every time.
B
On my way home from work. I listen to you guys and my wife gets pissed off that I don't get home in time. Hell yeah.
A
Three years on Fox Sports Radio and it's been going by quick. Having a lot of fun with you guys every day.
C
Thank you. Thank you to each and every Cavino and radio.
B
Which listener, as our show has grown in three years, Danny G's son has grown even bigger. The kid has a mustache now and he's barely two years old.
A
Three years. And none of my teams have won a championship.
C
What a fun ride.
B
And spin on PM Dry.
A
You do. Good enough.
B
Yeah.
A
Fantastic. That was fun. That was fun. Looking back, I. I forgot some of those moments. So thank you, Danny G, for putting that together.
B
That's excellent. Thanks.
A
Look back at the last three years doing afternoons here on the west coast on Fox Sports Radio. Appreciate you guys.
B
And it's nice to see some efforts and hard work paying off because we gave up every Sunday night, every Sunday night for two years before we got this afternoon opportunity. But Danny G, that was great. And we have another audio montage next hour and your chance to win more prizes. So you call when you Hear the montage. 87799 on Fox. If you get through, you get in. Danny G. Is going to hook you up because we're giving back to you, Fox Sports Radio Nation for hanging out with us, putting up with us and having fun with us for the past three years. Now when we get back, Rich, who are we adding to this unnecessary hate list? Certain people in life become the punching bag, become the punchline, and Nickelback is one of those bands, one of those answers. But there's someone new in the world of sports. Is it warranted or not? Will explain. Plus weekend Hobnobbin and more celebrating here on the Covino Enrich Show. Stick around is Fox Sports Radio now.

Yo, you must have hit a nerve with the Aaron Judge Cal Raleigh stuff because even when we're not talking about it, but people on our in show YouTube thread right now.
B
Yeah.
A
Are mocking you saying Judge struck out 30 more times than Cal Raleigh.
B
But, I mean, Camino.
A
It's tough to play in New York, right?
B
Yeah. He also broke the record intentional walks.
A
So, hey, don't yell me. Yell at El Cucuy. Yell at Scott. Yell at Wes. Yell at K Rain. Yell at all the people chiming in on our YouTube right now. Lenae Kukui. Yeah, Lenae Kukui's there, huh?
B
You know what they could do? It's my anniversary. They could kiss my ass is what they could do. Covino and Rich celebrating three years. Don't try to yuck my yum. Don't try to bring me down. On our anniversary day, we're Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio. Live from the Fox Sports radio studio, the LG XBoom Grab is where you should be listening to our show. LG, life's good. Really good. Bring the boom x.
A
Boom code fall 25. You got it on Kavino and Rich. Now, like you said, we are gonna do weekend Hobnob. And I got my picks, my big TV game of the week, courtesy of tcl. We'll do that. I have a. Honestly, like, a. A dilemma I want to throw past you guys. Has to do with the baseball playoffs.
B
I have a dilemma, too.
A
Playoffs.
B
Playoffs.
A
Playoffs. Yeah. I don't know if I should be worried about playoffs yet. The Mets still need to get there. But I might have a dilemma. I'll run by you guys. But, Kavino, you brought up something interesting. There's a list of celebrities, athletes, musicians.
B
Superstars that we made up.
A
Yeah.
B
If you just pay close attention to who becomes the punching bag in life, you can figure it out. It's not a list from bunkfeed.com it's just from the stupid brains of Covino and Rich. And certain people become the joke. Like Nickelback. Sam, our DJ here, Sammy, Sweetheart, our associate producer of awesome.
A
He was hired to be on the Ones and Twos.
B
He was playing Nickelback on the way in. Now, I hate to break the news to you, but they rock. They kick ass and have more hits than most people. More hits than you? They got more hits than Sarata. Oh, they got songs for days.
A
They have hit after hit after hit after. They sold millions of albums.
B
And they're cool dudes. We've interviewed them, talked to them, hung with them. But for whatever reason, Right. People love to be like, yeah, Nickelback sucks.
A
It's almost like, you know who's lame? Nickelback. For some reason, Nickelback. They won the award. Like, I guess there was like some secret election. It's like, all right, what band that's rock but mainstream enough could we make lame answer?
B
And. And he's a handsome guy. In reality, he was married to Avril Lavigne. Chad Krueger, the lead singer. He had that weak hairdo for a while. Remember, he had the noodle, sort of soul glow look. Yeah, he had that. I think that made him an easy target. I mean, he's really a cool dude.
A
He's a cool guy. I don't think he's a handsome guy. I don't think he's. A couple songs kind of put them like.
C
Like the.
A
The photograph.
B
Like, maybe there's a little cheesy look at his craft.
A
Like, I played Burn it to the Ground coming back.
B
That's a good song. Yeah, they got a lot of good songs. That's the point. But for whatever reason, they become that punchline, that joke, that punching bag. It's like a cheap laugh. Nickelback. And we're going to add an athlete, a current NFL former superstar, to this list. Maybe because this list is, like, unwarranted hate.
A
Yeah. You know who's on this list that deserves, like, the least hate? A guy that's, like, super cool to Covino and myself. A guy that I consider a friend. Guy Fieri. What has Guy Fieri done to anyone to be mocked?
B
It was the flaming T shirts, the bowling shirts, and the hair.
A
Whatever it is, it's unwarranted.
B
But he's the nicest dude.
A
He donates time, money, and resources to kids. I've been to his house. He is. Anytime he does a radio or TV show, he brings food. He's generous. Like, there is no reason why anyone should mock.
B
He's great for small businesses.
A
Guy Fieri, he goes around the country helping small businesses.
B
Who doesn't like barbecue, by the way?
C
It's anti Italian discrimination. That's what it is.
B
Guy Fieri is a really good dude, but for some reason, he's in that Nickelback category of like, yeah, that dude sucks.
C
There was a great article, like, oh, sorry.
B
No, go ahead.
C
I was gonna say there was a great article. I think it was, like, five, six, seven years ago in GQ by Drew McGarry, where, like, he was following around Guy Fieri, trying to open his own winery in Northern California. And the amount of people in Napa Valley the really head are, like, trying to stop him because they think it's going to be like flaming cars and just people out loud there all the time. It's like, no, I just want to make a wine vineyard for my kids.
A
He's up in Santa Rosa. He's a great guy.
B
He's a great dad.
A
What is it? Because he likes to put a little donkey sauce on everything because he makes fun sauces, nachos, and trash cans.
B
All right, so Guy Fieri's one of those dudes, A guy that we had on our show at one of the super Bowls recently. In the world of comedy, there's one dude who gets so much unnecessary hate, yet he's probably more successful than most. He was one of the first pioneers to have a residency in Vegas. Comedians and people love to dump on Carrot Top for whatever reason. Meanwhile, he's been bringing laughs since the 80s. I think the first time I saw Carrot Top was, like, on Johnny Carson in the early 80s. This guy's been doing it since he was a young man, and he's still doing it and bringing the laughs. He's solid. We saw his show live in Vegas. The guy solid from start to finish.
A
Let me tell you.
B
For whatever reason, it's like, yeah, whatever. Carrot Top, he sucks. No, he doesn't.
A
He does.
B
He's super popular, and he's super successful.
A
He doesn't suck at all. In fact, we went to Vegas maybe a decade ago, and I remember the people that ran the Luxor at the time said, kavino and Rich, we got you complimentary tickets to go see Criss angel and Carrot Top. And I remember thinking, oh, man, I can't wait to go see Criss Angel. I'll go see Carrot Top.
B
That's what Criss angel was hot.
A
And I remember thinking that Criss angel, that was, like, average at best.
B
He's a cool guy, though.
A
We went to go see Carrot Top Covino, myself and the girls we were dating at the time laughing our asses off.
B
Dude, he shouted us out. But still, you go see Carrot Top, guaranteed good time. Because he's good and he's funny and he's topical still.
A
I'll give you one more.
C
He's carrot.
B
Topical.
A
I'll give you one more. And then we will add our athlete. Then we'll go to Prefet for an update. One more. In the comedy world, it became really cool to hate on Dane Cook.
B
It really did. And yet everybody loved him. In the early 2000s, he was the coolest that it got. He was selling out the garden, everybody was quoting him. And then all of a sudden, everyone hated on know who else I throw in that mix of, like, early 2000s. Love to hate. Dane Cook, Limp Bizkit.
A
Limp Bizkit's a great example.
B
Yeah, everybody loved it. Now everyone makes fun of it unnecessarily. For what reason? Right. There's a new guy that we might add to the list, and I could see how it started. But is the hate really warranted? And that guy is. Are you ready?
A
I'm ready.
B
And I'll lead you with why. Maybe he got this reputation.
A
Who is it?
B
Danger. Russ Russell Wilson?
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, and by the way, we have some good reasons to show you. He got some pretty, pretty bad hate in the past 24 hours from former teammates and former players that he competed against. And I know he rubs maybe people the wrong way a little bit, but he could have won two Super Bowls. He won one, which is more than most, and he's had a successful career. But wait till you hear what people are saying about him and see if he belongs on this list.
A
Let's go to our buddy Chris Perpet for an update, then we'll talk a little. Russ, what's up, man?
C
All right, guys, let's get you caught up on what's going around the world. Wide, wide, Wide World of Sports. Europe has a 42 lead in the Ryder cup on day one. The Friday afternoon. Four balls. Sebstraka and Jon Rahm taking their match against Scottie Scheffler and JJ Spawn. Currently Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood one up on Bryson DeChambeau and Ben Griffin. Then Roy McIlroy I believe, is all square right now with Patrick Cantlay. NFL injury news. Let's get you caught up there as well. Commanders have ruled out quarterback Jaden Daniels for the second straight week. Wide receivers Noah Brown and Terry McLaurin are also out as the Commanders are taking on the Falcons Vikings in their International Series game against the Steelers. They've rolled out quarterback J.J. mcCarthy once again. Carson Wentz will be getting that start. Also rolled out is their linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel and tight end Ben Yarosek. Panthers have ruled out wide receivers Xavier Leggett and Ted McMillan is questionable to start. Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is set to make his season return against the Ravens on Sunday. Daytime baseball the Cubs just absolutely smashed the Cardinals 12 to 1. Just an absolute, just destruction here for a game that really doesn't matter for either teams. But when you get a chance to put up 12 runs on your division rival, you Just do it anyway. Why not just do it anyway? Just have a little fun as a treat. As a little treat out there. Permit me, this real quick soccer story. Harry Kane made history with his 100th goal in 104 matches. Do the math there real quick. That's the fastest anyone's hit 100 goals in European club out there. One last bit of news before I send it back to you guys. Hi, mom. Hi, David. They are watching on YouTube right now. Nephew David, who is very young and following along with everything. Back to Covino Rich.
A
There he is. Uncle Chris with his hat backwards.
B
There he is right there.
C
Yeah, I, I'm the, I'm, I'm just the dirtbag uncle. And they're, they're getting gifts today. We will, I will be addressing them over FaceTime later for that.
B
Nice. That's Chris. Perfect.
A
Thanks, buddy.
B
And Rich celebrating three years today with Danny G. And Iowa Sam. Spot on the videos at COVINO and RICH FSR on YouTube. COVINO and RICH FSR. And thank you FOX Sports Radio Nation for being a part of it. I also want to say congrats to the odd couple with Kelvin and Rob Parker. Yeah, they've been celebrating one year.
A
That was quick, huh?
B
One year just like that. So congrats to them and thank you guys again for being a part of it. Now, why is Russell Wilson a part of this list of unwarranted hate? A list that you really don't want to be on? We'll explain. Plus Rich's big TV game of the week and weekend hobnob. We have lots to get to.

Wasting my hate. Metallica on Covino. Rich, Fox Sports Radio, Iowa. Sam bringing the party, bringing the rock. Danny G. Bringing the montages. We have more looks back.
A
Look backs.
B
Look backs. More look backs.
A
Yeah, they want to be looks back. I don't know.
B
I'll debate you on that.
A
Looks. They'd be look backs. No, no looks back. No. What would it be?
B
Looks. We have more looks. How about you zip your mouth and let me continue?
A
It's not look backs.
B
How about really? Then what is it? It's looks back. I like look backs. No, look backs is if you're calling.
A
It a look back. But if you take a look, you're taking a look back.
B
It's more looks back. I think I'm right and I think you need to zip it.
A
Well, if you don't shut up, we're never gonna look back again. Cause this is it.
B
Oh, yeah. Happy anniversary. How about I go home? All right, so it's our three year anniversary and we're gonna take more looks back. Danny G. Has some montages. He's on the phones at 87799 on Fox. Spots on the videos. Covino and Rich. FSR.
A
More look sees back.
B
It's more. That's what you shut your little looks.
A
We take little look. See, I knew. I knew we got it right.
B
There are certain people that, that get a lot of hate. And I know it started from somewhere. It always starts from somewhere. But is it really warranted? Like Nickelback, Carrot Top, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Guy Fieri. We said and we're adding Russell Wilson to the list. Has he been cringy? Have we had fun at his expense? Yes, all of these things. But like this crazy amount of hate is kind of odd for a guy who won a Super Bowl. Almost 1 2, right? Richard Sherman took a chance to get at him and so did Tony Gonzalez.
A
And they did not hold back.
B
They did not hold back. Let's take a listen to what Richard Sherman said about his former teammate Russell Wilson.
A
I think you got to judge his career off when the Legion of Boom was there. He had a legendary defense, an all time defense. And how much success he he had.
B
And then without that legendary defense, the.
A
Success he had without that legendary defense.
B
He'S been 4 and 11.
A
7 and 8. 03 to start with the Giants, like that's he was a winning football player in Seattle and people said, hey, winning his football player, all this good stuff, all these accolades, and now you get to go on your own and you get to prove, hey, I'm this great quarterback. I'm this guy that's going to be dominant. And it just hasn't worked out that way. Does it not just sound like Richard Truman? Might as well have said that I and the Legion of Boom won that Super Bowl. That's exactly what he said. We would have won two if you moronically didn't throw a goal line interception. Richard Sherman pretty much said you're a loser without me.
B
He said you're an average bum of a QB without the Legion of Boom. And that's what you proved. And that's kind of harsh, especially from a camaraderie, a team that won together. They won together.
A
You should thank me for that Super Bowl. Russ signed Richard Sherman.
B
Yeah. And I know they had some beef, but he did not hold back in that moment. Picture that didn't stop there. That's why we bring this up today.
A
Picture. Richard Sherman's slow motion face when Russ threw that interception, remember, was like, oh.
B
And we're going to play the other one in a minute. But again, Covino and Rich, we're live from Fox Sports Radio studios. And speaking of Seattle, it's time for our tire rack play of the day.
A
Another primetime game came down to the last second. And a field goal. Michael Dixon puts it down. Jason Myers. The kick is on the way. And the kick is up. And the kick is good. And the Seahawks win the game.
B
They beat NFC west foe the Arizona.
A
Cardinals on the final play of the game.
B
Jason Myers, 52 yards. Seahawks win 23:20. Like we said, the game was buns until it wasn't. Yeah, that's courtesy of Seahawks Radio Network. That's our tire rack play of the day. For over 40 years, Tire Rack has been helping customers find the right tires for how, what and where they drive ship fast and free, backed by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Tire rack.comway Tire buying should be. So Seattle wins. But look, they really haven't won since the Russell Wilson.
A
As the meme goes, when a kicker cracks open some smelling salts, he's not effing around, right. You saw him get all hyped up.
B
Now, Russell Wilson got hate from Richard Sherman, but he also got hate from Tony Gonzalez. And we're going to play that for you in a little bit. Also, some looks back, looksies, backsies. Some look backsies of our three years here on Fox Sports Radio. And if you call in, you get a ball, you get a football. Plus weekend hobnobbing.
A
We have lots to get to plus Covino and Rich. I have quite a hypothetical and it has to do with playoffs, baseball playoffs. We'll get to that next right here. Kavino and Rich, Happy three years.
