Steve Covino
First of all, I wish you had that personality too.
Rich Davis
And like I listen, I, I enjoy watching golf here and there, but I'm a pace around the living room in the late innings of a baseball game type of guy. I'm a, I'm a Sunday ticket, six things going on at once type of guy. When I hear guys like our pal Dan Byer and plenty of friends I have that are like, I'm just chilling, not moving, just for days watching the Masters.
Steve Covino
You must have extreme concentration skills.
Rich Davis
I, I, I love golf. I, I, I always say that there's going to come a point where I know I'm going to turn to golf as I get older. But I am not cut from the personality to sit and watch golf and I respect the people that do it. But, Danny, you. I'm a. Like I said, I'm a late innings baseball pacing around my living room. I'm a Sunday ticket. I'm an NBA, like, two minutes left in the game. Like, to me, I don't just tell
Steve Covino
her you're a jittery buffoon who can't sit still.
Rich Davis
I don't have the chill for the Masters.
Steve Covino
Like, I almost feel like born without chill.
Rich Davis
I almost feel like next year I want to. I want to be sent to the Masters and see if I could take, like, chill lessons.
Danny
It's part of the Tiger woods phenomenon because when he was at his prime, I would tune in to, you know, the majors that he was playing in. And other than that, I don't think I've ever sat there and watched an entire major.
Rich Davis
I love the rules of the Masters, too. Like, Isaac, not to put you on the spot, but aren't there like. Like, they don't call it the sand trap. It's like the bunker. They don't. They don't call it the back nine. It's like the second. Like, they have all these. They have all these rules.
Isaac Loewencron
You're not. You're not allowed to call the rough.
Steve Covino
Oops.
Isaac Loewencron
Yeah, it's the. The first cut and the second cut, and if you say it wrong, they take you out with a sniper. There was actually a golf analyst named Gary McCord who was taken off the Masters broadcast at CBS because he said that the greens were as fast as bikini wax, unquote. And they got.
Rich Davis
Well, then they can't even say. They can't even say the. The off course driving range is a driving range. I think they have to call it, like, the.
JD (Contestant)
The.
Rich Davis
The practice zone or something. But, yeah, there's all these rules, and I always find the fascinating that you can't have a phone there. And they are strict about it. Like, they kicked off. Like, they've kicked off former champions and golfers for, like, trying to sneak their. Their smartphone on there. So I'm. I don't know if I have enough chill for the Masters.
Steve Covino
I think it's safe to say you don't. Okay, I agree with that, actually.
Rich Davis
But it's beautiful, right? Like, you look rich.
Iowa Sam
They'd whisk you away to that. Isaac was talking about it yesterday. Some building with tinted windows where they interrogate you, apparently.
Rich Davis
You know what they would do. You ever see the movie Half Baked? Yes. Remember when Kevin Harland is like, butternuts, buttercup, I'm an innocent man and they're taking him away, and he's like, got handcuffs on him.
Steve Covino
I'm a schoolteacher.
Rich Davis
I feel like that would be me if I accidentally take out my phone at the Masters. I'm innocent. I'm an innocent man. So enjoy the. Enjoy a great weekend. Now back to a couple. Few. Couple phone calls. Most tortured fan bases, by the way.
Steve Covino
You know who I think is gonna have some bad luck this season? The Seattle Mariners. After what happened today. Did you guys see this? It sort of ties in. I feel like it's a. It's a bad luck omen they were unveiling. I sort of saw this story a few times throughout the day. It just happened today. But I misunderstood what happened when they're unveiling the statue of Ichiro.
YouTube Announcer
Did you see this?
Steve Covino
They're taking, like, the tarp off. Like, you know, they take it like, voila. They broke his bat while doing that. How weak is that?
Rich Davis
The bat of the statue.
Steve Covino
The bat of the statue broke.
Rich Davis
Broken bat. Base hit up the middle.
Steve Covino
The bat broke off when they pulled the tarp off. And then Ichiro had jokes, apparently. He says, I didn't think Mariana would come out here and break the bat at my reveal. So, yeah, the bat broke off when they did that. So I'm sensing some tortured bad luck omens for the Mariners moving forward, but I'm not wishing that on them. I'm just saying that's a weak look. What up, Ilo?
Isaac Loewencron
At least that didn't happen when they were unveiling the statue of David.
Rich Davis
Is that what happened?
Steve Covino
Is that what happened?
Rich Davis
Oh, boy.
Steve Covino
But, yeah, tortured fan bases.
Danny
Good thing that didn't happen to Chick Hearn's microphone outside of Staples Center.
Steve Covino
We talked about the Browns. We talked about Todd Monkins bad luck and that bad omen. He missed the head coaching picture. And the Rockies had a chance to go over.500 and a grand slam. Put that the rest yesterday?
Rich Davis
I think so. You know, we had some great calls. The Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings.
Steve Covino
The Browns, I think the Bills, dude. It's just heartbreaking.
Rich Davis
Let's take two more because I feel like there's. There's one that might trump them all. Who do we got, Danny?
Danny
Let's go to David in Sacramento.
Rich Davis
Yo, Dave. What up?
David (Caller)
Oh, gentlemen, I really appreciate you taking my call. And the setup there couldn't been better than. Because I'm thinking. You may be thinking I'm a Baytown fan, but no, I am a Seattle Mariners fan. And with all due respect to the Vikings and the Bills, who have been to Multiple Super Bills, Super Bowls, the Mariners have been to zero. World Series, we have more hall of Famers than most other teams can even think about. And we had a 21 year stretch of no appearances in the playoffs. And now we have our Ichiro statue broken.
Isaac Loewencron
Dude, come on.
David (Caller)
How?
Steve Covino
Like, here's a guy that lives by honor and respect. The guy was flexing and stretching and did everything right and you couldn't get his statue right. Like, oh, get out of my face with this. Look at this. They break the bat. When they pull it off, it cracks.
Rich Davis
It just looks like it's a little down a little bit. Just show it a picture of Sydney Sweeney.
Steve Covino
It's a little limp, but yeah.
Rich Davis
You know what?
Steve Covino
Just adds insult to injury again. You gotta get it right. That's Ichiro, dude.
Rich Davis
Thank you for that video. Spot is doing a great job on the live YouTube show. By the way. Wes hit us up in Vegas. He's a man, a Mariners fan. Sorry. He goes, this is year 50, guys. Never been to a World Series, maybe a dozen winning playoff appearances.
Steve Covino
But that's even more reason as to why you got to get moments like this right. You got to give the fans something to really cheer about. You got to honor the legends. He said it. There's so many great players that played in the Seattle organization, From Ken Griffey Jr. To Edgar Martinez, Tino Martinez. And you're, you're. You're giving this tribute to Ichiro and you can't get it right. I did get, get something right for the fans.
Rich Davis
Some teams, there's a trade off, right? Like, you could just be perpetually awful and you could argue that that's the worst. Or we were saying, Danny, getting close. I was. Sam, you were saying you think getting close but never quite finishing is actually worse, right?
Iowa Sam
I think it's worse.
Rich Davis
It's like, what's worse? Not getting the date or getting the date? The girl brings you back to her room, she strips naked and then she's like, I buy kidding.
Iowa Sam
You're running a marathon. You're about to fall through the ticker tape and then a guy runs up behind you and takes it away.
Steve Covino
When you say it' more hardly brown for the bills of the 90s. Everything they went through, look how close they came.
Rich Davis
But, you know, it made me think of like, I know the Mets are not on this list because they have the. I feel like the Mets traded two of the best baseball seasons of all time to just suck the rest of the time. It was like the 86 Mets and the 69 Miracle Mets. They were like, Give us two miraculous seasons and we'll just, you know, be disappointing every other time. But, you know, a lot of people like the Mets in New York. They also like the jets. And it's hard for me to. I know they won with namath Super Bowl 3, but that's. Man, that's like 50 plus years ago, guys. It's not yesterday.
Steve Covino
So what was your buddy Lozito's formula, though, for the weakest? Like my buddy, franchise buddy Mike that
Rich Davis
lives in upstate New York, He's a Mets, Jets, Nets and Islanders. And other than the Islanders little run in the 80s where they won four in a row. Like, that's. They did it over the last like 40 something years. That's like one of the. That's the worst formula for a city
Steve Covino
of fans like Mets, Nets and Islanders.
Danny
Rich, there's one other city and I don't think any of us are thinking about it, but Paul in Rhode island wanted to tell you about this team.
Rich Davis
Yo, Paulie. What's up, Paul?
Steve Covino
Hey, Paulie.
David (Caller)
What's up, guys? Yo, Davino. Rich. Been a while, but I gotta. I gotta go. My China, whole team, San Diego. Enough's enough, man.
Rich Davis
Oh, you know what? I know San Diego's payoff is that it's the most beautiful place in the United States.
Danny
First it was the Clippers.
Isaac Loewencron
Yeah, you're right.
Danny
Okay. Then the Chargers.
Rich Davis
You're right.
Danny
And then now the Padres.
David (Caller)
Keep going, keep going.
Steve Covino
No, I think I had a question for Paul. I think Paul's still there. Go ahead, get.
Rich Davis
Oh, I'm still here.
David (Caller)
No, I'm just trying to say that the Oakland area lost so much. It's. It's unbelievable. And those fan bases are so passionate. And it's a shame that San Diego can't get by the Padres. The.
Rich Davis
Yeah, no, listen, I think San Diego. I was saying you wanted to add something.
Iowa Sam
I did. This is a completely random question, but Paul, are you a Ben Maller listener?
JD (Contestant)
Yes, I am.
Iowa Sam
Are you Red Breast? Are you Red Breast?
Lily Herman
Paul?
David (Caller)
Yes. I'm an Irish whiskey drinker and a Jew blotto whiner.
Steve Covino
Yeah, baby.
Daniel Jeremiah
This is.
Iowa Sam
This is a famous Ben Malik.
Rich Davis
Oh, hey.
Steve Covino
Thank you, man. It's a pleasure that.
Danny
You know, Rich, you're right. It's because of the weather. If they were sitting in piles of snow in San Diego, everybody would feel bad for them.
Steve Covino
It's harder to feel bad for them, but yeah, the truth is there.
Rich Davis
Yeah, no, that's. That's a major factor. It's like, you Know when like a hot chick has bad luck, you're like, yeah, you're still hot. Like, I'm, bam, down to my luck. Like, you're beautiful. When something goes wrong in San Diego, you're like, oh, man, your team lost you still, it's like 80 degrees and sunny and beautiful and you live in the nicest place, you'll be fine. But when you talk about Buffalo or Minnesota or cold weather climate, you just picture people's teams losing and then they're sitting there. You just picture them sitting in like the cold. You know that Jack Nicholson picture with the ice, the icicles on his face.
Steve Covino
Yeah.
Iowa Sam
When he's the end of the shining. When he's dead.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Isaac Loewencron
That's.
Rich Davis
To me, that's how I picture, like Vikings and Buffalo Bills fans after a season.
Steve Covino
I mean, I personally think it's. I feel sorry for all of them. Padres, San Diego being the least, the Bills being the most. For me, personally.
Rich Davis
Yeah. Anyone else we're missing before we move on?
Steve Covino
Because you said it, Rich, you answered the question. Really What I was saying, even if your team's out of it, you're rooting for Josh Allen and the Bills for
Rich Davis
the fans, because you feel for them.
Steve Covino
Because you feel for them.
Rich Davis
But.
Steve Covino
And I've always said if they were to win, they gotta mention the fans and they would. But they also got to mention like the legendary players that came so close.
Rich Davis
But take away, take away like a year or so where Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez brought the jets to like the playoffs and they had some decent runs. Besides that, it's like Joe Namath.
Steve Covino
That's true.
Rich Davis
And nothing like the Browns. Don't. Don't have one. So you could say Browns and Jets are most people that were really.
Steve Covino
But again, no one's feeling sorry for New York.
Rich Davis
I know, but people that were alive and alert in 1969 are our parents generation, not us.
Steve Covino
Even though Buffalo's New York. For someone trying to correct me, we get that.
Danny
And by the way, the Athletics are only there temporarily. So this is just an NBA city. But Sacramento Kings fans, they've been through it. Remember the year they thought they got robbed against the Lakers, Lakers?
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Danny
And they've been waiting and waiting and now they're watching their team just completely tank on purpose.
Rich Davis
And you know, you see the Athletics and you say no because they had such great runs in the 70s and then McGuire and.
Danny
Yeah. And the early 90s.
Rich Davis
You know, I was going to say Ozzy Canseco, he was there too. Jose Canseco, the Bash Brothers. Eckersley, like, there were some squad. Stewart, safe.
Steve Covino
Parker, Ricky, Henderson. There's so many legends.
Rich Davis
Yeah. So you can't put them there. But hey, you know what? Chime in if you. If you're not listening live, if you're listening to the pod, always feel free to hit us up at Covino and Rich and let us know who you think deserves to be the most sad fan base who could claim that they're the saddest.
Steve Covino
And by the way, it ties into something we talked about yesterday. If you miss anything, catch the podcast.
Rich Davis
Does it also play into who else you root for? Meaning, like, the Browns. If you're a Browns fan, you're likely maybe an Ohio State fan. So you have some fun. You're like, well, I got some college football.
Iowa Sam
And then, yeah, yeah, big time.
Rich Davis
I went on, we got LeBron with the Cavs. Want us one, like.
Danny
And, Rich, you made a great point about all of us cheering on Buffalo when our team's out of it. Same thing goes for the Detroit Lions.
Rich Davis
You know what?
Steve Covino
You're right.
Rich Davis
The other. Other teams had interesting.
Danny
I mean, the Lions have been good the past few seasons, but prior to
Rich Davis
that, yeah, they've been awful.
Iowa Sam
And the problem with the Islanders fans, who won four in a row in the 80s, you want those four, I think. I think spread out like UConn basketball. Because if you get them four in a row, it's like good dopamine hit after good dopamine hit. You want that to wear off. You win one six years later, you win 100, 10 years later, it's not. Four in a row is a dynasty. But you don't get another one forever or until, you know.
Rich Davis
You know, it's interesting because I do.
Steve Covino
Islanders. I thought he meant Haku and Tama. No, he meant the Islanders.
Rich Davis
He met the Islanders, former WWE tag team champions. Well, they never won a championship. They're sad. But interestingly enough, I think when you do this equation, well, we'll move on. But I think part of it is, who else would that fan base root for? Because you got to decide, does this person. Are they null and void of any enjoyment? Like. Like, if you're. If you're a Bills fan, you could argue a Bills fan could also be a Yankees fan. Because if you're a New York guy. Upstate New York. Upstate New York roots, mostly for New York baseball. So they might be like, well, I love the Bills, but I like the Yanks and the Knicks or, you know, like the Rangers. So, like, I don't know.
Steve Covino
That's true. That's true.
Rich Davis
You got to wonder who's the sad.
Steve Covino
But this ties into what we were talking about yesterday because the Rockies were.500 for a day. We saw them celebrating.
Rich Davis
And the Broncos win a ton. And the Nuggets want an NBA title.
Iowa Sam
Colorado fans have the Avalanche. They have the Nuggets.
Rich Davis
All three other majors have won one in the last decade.
Iowa Sam
Minnesota sports fans, they have the links who have won championships. Otherwise, there's really not much else.
Rich Davis
Don't tell me that.
Iowa Sam
I know, but I'm saying you don't have anything else.
Steve Covino
No football.
Rich Davis
I'll be, I'll be, I'll be sexist for one second and saying I'm proud of the links and their accomplishment, but I don't think someone in Minnesota is like, well, the Vikings stink and this team stinks, but they got the links.
Iowa Sam
It's not going to.
Rich Davis
Yeah, it's not going to satisfy the
Iowa Sam
game, you know, football title.
Steve Covino

Okay, Appreciate that. Yeah. Here's how it goes. In fact, I have five rounds ready. Our contestant needs to win two of them to be the champ and walk away with a C and R prize pack. I'm gonna ask a question, then give three debatable answers to choose from. The six of us in studio are gonna write down our answers on these dry erase boards for our YouTube channel. Then on the count of three, JD doesn't jump the gun. He gives his answer. We gotta. He's got a match with four out of the six of us to win the round. Or no matter his answer, if all six of us happen to match, it's an Automatic round for J.D. all right, let's get started here. Here we go.
Rich Davis
Round one, Round one foot.
Danny
Let's call this celebrity racing. Okay, if you had to be in a passenger seat of a car going 110 miles per hour, who would you trust? Moore as the driver, Justin Timberlake, Tiger woods, or Britney Spears?
Rich Davis
This is such an inappropriate, funny question.
Danny
You have to be the passenger. You have to be the passenger in their car going 110 miles per hour. Which driver do you trust more? Timberlake, Tiger or Britney?
JD (Contestant)
Can I blurt out my answer?
Steve Covino
I'm locked. I'm locked in.
Rich Davis
Not yet.
Danny
We're going to write our answer answers down, all right? On the count of three, J.D. 1, 2, 3.
JD (Contestant)
J.T. timberlake.
Danny
You say Timberlake. All right, we start with Steve Covino.
Steve Covino
Yeah. Respectfully, the other two, I'm not trusting. I'll just leave it at that. Justin Timberlake. Because we saw the footage and it really wasn't even that bad, so. Justin.
Danny
Yeah, it's happened more than once with J.T.
Steve Covino
all right.
Rich Davis
I'm sorry. I was on the phone with the president. I'm not trusting Tiger Woods. No offense. I like Tiger. And Britney Spears. Wow, That's a. I worry about her. The answer's clear. Justin Timberlake.
Danny
All right, Ilo. What say you?
Iowa Sam
I can't see it.
Steve Covino
It says it's Britney.
Danny
All right. Shay.
Steve Covino
No. So, yeah, I went JT but before I started thinking about it.
Danny
Well, you know what, J.D. j.T. For me, that gives you the round.
Steve Covino
Boom.
Rich Davis
Hey. One one round for you, bud.
Danny
Yeah, and just for fun, I was saying. What did you say?
Iowa Sam
Just for extra wiggles. I also said, jt, Nice. I don't think Britney fans will like hearing that.
Rich Davis
You know what? He made a mistake. And he was really polite to the police. Did you notice that?
Iowa Sam
He, like, did. I mean, listen, I'm not. And he just, like, didn't signal. Like. I'm not saying he should have gotten away with it, but it was rather.
Rich Davis
Well, they're. They're saying Timberlake. Very polite with the police. Nothing ever acceptable about drinking under the influence, but he was a nice fellow.
JD (Contestant)
I had no idea that JT Got in trouble. I just know Britney's crazy, and we
Rich Davis
all know that Tiger, flip the car.
Steve Covino
I know.
Danny
All right, J.D. you're halfway to a prize pack. Let's go to round two, the relationship category. Oh, what's the bigger red flag that you notice when first hanging out with a woman?
Rich Davis
Oh, okay.
Danny
Constant drama. Is very financially irresponsible or blames everyone else for her problems.
Steve Covino
Oh, these are great.
Rich Davis
Damn.
Danny
The bigger of the three. Bigger red flag when you're first hanging out with a girl. Constant drama. Financially irresponsible or she blames everyone else for her problems.
Steve Covino
Danny just explained a Persian girl.
Danny
That's got to be racist.
Steve Covino
I'm telling my daughter she's Persian.
Rich Davis
It's fine.
Danny
Okay.
Iowa Sam
All right.
Danny
We're all writing our answers down right now, man.
Steve Covino
All right. I'm locked in, everybody. Locked in.
JD (Contestant)
Yeah.
Danny
So. Okay, J.D. your answer on the count of three. One, two, three.
JD (Contestant)
Oh, it's the last one for sure.
Danny
So you're saying blames everyone else for her problems?
JD (Contestant)
Oh, yeah, without a doubt.
Danny
All right, Samuel.
JD (Contestant)
All right.
Rich Davis
All worthy. All worthy.
Steve Covino
You know, pieces there.
Iowa Sam
But I'm going to say drama. I think drama is just. Oh, man, I hate it.
Danny
I also said drama for your grandmama. All right, we go to Shay.
Steve Covino
Yeah. I don't like the blaming thing. I don't know there's a point. I know it's something with my age. Everyone else is popular. Take accountability. Never take accountability. Okay, all right.
Danny
Ilo.
Isaac Loewencron
I said drama because I want to talk about my drama instead.
Danny
Mathematically out of that round. But what did you say, Rich?
Rich Davis
You know what? I. I think all three are bad. What was the second one again?
Danny
The second one.
Rich Davis
Financials.
Danny
Yeah. Financially irresponsible.
Rich Davis
You can make up. You could teach someone better finances. And I think with a good partner, you could. You could downsize drama to be honest or. Or minimize it. I think someone that has a tendency to blame others. Like, blame. I'm with you. The blame game. You know why? Because. Have you ever dated someone that everyone they dates the worst, everyone they like, a pattern that will never go away.
Danny
What about you, KO Me?
Steve Covino
Johnny Drama, man. Save the drama for your mama. I don't want to hear about it.
Danny
All right, let's go to round three. JD Looking for one more category to be a winner.
Rich Davis
By the way, that goes for men too, right? I mean, like, if a guy's like, every girl I date sucks. It's like, you know, maybe it's a.
Iowa Sam
You probably.
Rich Davis
You suck, you know? You know? You know, the blame game is. Is. Is the rough one.
Iowa Sam
That was a good one.
Danny
I'm calling this the Patreon category.
Rich Davis
Oh.
Danny
Think back to 2015.
Rich Davis
Okay.
Danny
CNR Broadcasting live from Fonzie's house.
Rich Davis
That is true. We did do a live show from Henry Winkler's kitchen.
Steve Covino
First official broadcast, Los Angeles was from Henry Winkler's kitchen, his dining room.
Danny
Pretty cool, right? True story. Whose personal dining room would be the most exciting for the guy's Patreon show to broadcast live from in 2026?
Steve Covino
That's a good one.
Rich Davis
Okay.
Steve Covino
Okay. Awesome. From today.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Steve Covino
Okay.
Danny
LeBron James, Donald Trump, or Tom Brady?
Steve Covino
Oh, those are great.
Danny
They're broadcasting live. Their Patreon show.
Rich Davis
Okay.
Danny
From this person's personal dining room.
Steve Covino
If you really think about this, this is an easy answer.
JD (Contestant)
Is it the most interesting?
Danny
I said the most exciting.
JD (Contestant)
Exciting.
Danny
Yeah.
Steve Covino
All right.
Rich Davis
I have reasons for my.
JD (Contestant)
Okay.
Danny
Okay. We're all writing our answers down.
Steve Covino
All right. Locked in, everybody.
Danny
Locked in.
Rich Davis
I'm locked in. I'm locked.
Danny
Okay, J.D. your answer on the count of three. One, two, three.
JD (Contestant)
I gotta say Trump.
Danny
Oh, he says Donald Covino.
Steve Covino
We start with you all great answers, obviously, right? Trump's too polarizing, man. And Tom Brady is the man. Tom Brady the goat, no doubt. I think it would be so cool.
Rich Davis
I think sitting down with a.
Steve Covino
He's got a moat.
Rich Davis
Sitting down with a president, no matter if you love or hate him, is an honor. I would. You know, I just think it's too polarizing. Except for our Patreon show, which people pay for, so you don't want to upset half the people. I think LeBron's a good answer, but Tom Brady. I feel like talking. I went with Tom Brady. It's a tough one because I would love to hang and have a drink with all the them, you know, ilo.
Isaac Loewencron
I wrote pass the quinoa and the avocado ice cream. Tom Brady.
Steve Covino
Okay, we're three for three on the af. Everybody says Brady. He gets a point.
Iowa Sam
The back door point. Three for three. Let's see what Shay's got here.
Steve Covino
All right, Shay, I'm with our boy over here. I want Trump. I would love to see what Trump has to say about our social coast together.
Rich Davis
We pray you guys are pretty good show.
Danny
We might have. We might have went six or six. I said Tommy, what did you say? I was saying.
Rich Davis
I also said Brady. Oh, Jay, come on. Damn.
Danny
It's all right.
Steve Covino
He's got bigger guys.
Danny
He's got two more categories here to win. So let's get to round four. Let's go to the money category.
Rich Davis
Money.
Danny
What's. What's the bigger ripoff? Movie theater concessions, bottled water, or auto pay subscriptions?
JD (Contestant)
Oh, God.
Danny
Movie theater concessions, bottled water, or auto pay subscriptions. All right, we're all writing our answers down. Everybody locked in?
Rich Davis
Yep.
Danny
On the count of three, JD 1, 2, 3.
JD (Contestant)
They're all rip offs, but I'm gonna go with the first one.
Danny
Movie feedback Concessions. All right, Iowa. Sam, we start with you, man.
Iowa Sam
I mean, this is what all concessions places do. I gotta say water.
Rich Davis
Water.
Iowa Sam
It's coming out of the tap.
Steve Covino
It's free for most people.
Danny
It's poisonous out of the tap.
Rich Davis
I drink it.
Iowa Sam
I drink tap water out of la.
Danny
I wasn't surprised.
Iowa Sam
Me, I haven't grown a third arm yet.
Danny
All right, well, you get a point for me. I said movie snacks. Yeah, I. I remember. I remember taking Brenda to a movie and getting popcorn and some candy and some sodas, and they're like. Your total is $56. 77. All right, Shay, what did you say?
JD (Contestant)
I got four. I got four kids. I walk out of there and I'm about 200 in debt.
Danny
Seriously, Shay, what did you say?
Steve Covino
Yeah, I went snacks here. It's crazy. I can't be doing this anymore.
Rich Davis
All right, one more.
Danny
Two points.
Steve Covino
Two more.
Danny
Yep. What'd you say? Ilo?
Isaac Loewencron
I wrote bottled water. Find out what they're saying about toilet water.
Danny
It comes down to CNR here, Rich. What did you say?
Rich Davis
I went to go take the kids to Super Mario Galaxy last weekend between the four tickets and concessions. That dude's right. A couple hundred dollars. Movie concessions. A large popcorn and a soda is over $20.
Danny
It all comes down to COVID 19
Steve Covino
for all the Tostitos. Look, I used to ride with the vending machine repair man. My dad was a vendor my whole childhood. So to pay, like, an exorbitant amount for M M's like, get out of my face. Movie concession. $10 for a box of Goobers. I hang with a Goober every day for free. Hey, no way. So you win, dude.
Danny
J.D. congratulations. You are a C and R prize pack winner there in Florida.
Rich Davis
Yeah, buddy. That's awesome. You have a bonus one. Just.
Isaac Loewencron
I'm, I'm.
JD (Contestant)
I'm a one time winner now. One time loser.
Steve Covino
He redeemed himself.
Rich Davis
You didn't drop the gun, J.D. good job.
JD (Contestant)
You know what? Listen, listen. This one's easy compared to trying to do the ones with the. Where it's like, oh, you got to name that, that team.
Steve Covino
Oh, last one standing.
Rich Davis
Yeah, this is a good one.
Steve Covino
Last one standing is like process of elimination stressful.
Rich Davis
Yes, yes, yes.
Danny
Well, congratulations, J.D. we're gonna get our update. When we come back, we'll have plenty of time for weekend hobnobbin.
Rich Davis
Perfect. Let's do it. All right. Isaac Loincron. What's doing, guys?
Isaac Loewencron
Roy McIlroy has just ripped off five birdies over a six hole span. He's now at 11 under par overall today. He is six under through 17, and he's got a five shot lead in round two of the Masters. So that's pretty impressive. But I'm gonna tell you something that was even more impressive.
Rich Davis
Kavino's bird sound effects.
Isaac Loewencron
Let me hear that again. Can you do Big Mike talking to that bird?
Steve Covino
What do you need?
Rich Davis
Oh, I don't know. I can't do that. Get on.
Isaac Loewencron
That is startlingly accurate. But perhaps an even more impressive performance at Augusta today came from China's Haotong Li, who shot a three under 69 despite dealing with what I will delicately call some internal adversity.
JD (Contestant)
Listen, went to a toilet last night a lot of times. And this morning when I got to the golf course and still feeling really bad. Kind of like live in the toilet, I just. Feeling really, really bad. No energy, fuzzy. Want to throw out something? Glad I survived today.
Isaac Loewencron
Let's see you do that, Rory. Anyway, Lee at minus four overall, now 15 shots off the lead with McIlroy ahead of everybody by such a significant margin. Major League Baseball today at Wrigley cup. Starter Shoto Imanoga, a no hitter, going through six innings against the Pirates with nine strikeouts, only to then be taken out after just 100 pitches. Despite striking out two in the top of the sixth inning. Reliever Caleb Thielbar came in to start the seventh inning with the game scoreless and promptly allowed a single to Ryan o'. Hearn. And then watch out Tweety. Here it comes. Brian Reynolds took it deep. I want to end up like that bird with Randy Johnson in spring training on my head.
Steve Covino
Why would you do that?
Rich Davis
My bald head. You hear those birds in Augusta?
Iowa Sam
Beautiful. The azaleas, Beautiful.
Isaac Loewencron
In the Bird's defense, that was a pretty big target to work with. He's gonna kill me. All right. Does your afternoon need a boost? Try the new Starbucks Energy Refreshers. Rich Davis
You want a pumpkin loaf, Isaac, or would you like a cake pop?
Isaac Loewencron
Are those euphemisms or are you actually talking about food?
Rich Davis
Your choice. Have a great weekend, brother.
Steve Covino
Have a great one. Isaac Loewencron, everybody. Love working with Isaac.

Danny
And that's my belly.
Steve Covino
It goes to Xander Bogarts and here's why.
Rich Davis
Why?
Steve Covino
He lifted the Padres up over.500. He helped me in that Survivor league. I'm in.
Rich Davis
Are you not impressed with Shohei Ohtani's zero era?
Steve Covino
Oh, and he also, they also walked two players to get to him, only to hit a grand slam walk off, beating the Rockies 7 to 3. It was a big, big moment.
Rich Davis
That's a cool moment. Like really cool. Essentially the the Rocky said, let's look at the lineup.
Steve Covino
Exactly. I, I like the redemption.
Rich Davis
We are not only going to walk one guy, we we feel better about loading the bases to get to you.
Steve Covino
To get to you.
Rich Davis
And.
Steve Covino
And they're thinking ground ball. Nope, not quite. Bomb. Grand slam. Bomb. So props to him for rising to the occasion and taking them over 500. Xander Bogarts, our Express pros Pro of the week.

Steve Covino
What you need to watch in the world of sports and entertainment so you know what's going on come Monday. All right, I'll kick it off. A lot of people forgetting that Tyson Fury gets back in the ring this weekend.
Rich Davis
He's had a weird time though, right?
Steve Covino
Reminder, he's fighting on Netflix again. Fury's coming off back to back losses against Usyk. His last win was against Ngannou. If you guys remember, that was way back. Fury 34, 2 and 1, 24 knockouts. Makhmadov 2120 with 19 knockouts. So a heavyweight bout on Netflix. Also, Connor Ben is fighting Progress. So Connor Ben's also fighting. Enjoy that fight.
Rich Davis
But hold on. Can we remind people, do you know the time of that fight or no? I'll tell you right now. Hold on.
Steve Covino
Also, love on the Spectrum. A lot of people buzzing about love on the Spectrum. I'm gonna try to catch up on it. There's no Tanner this season. Tanner said he's not ready for love. He wants to give other people the chance to find love on the show. But I'm hearing great things about season four, so I'll check it out. It's a heart tugger, so maybe watch it by yourself if you're gonna shed one here and there.
Rich Davis
Tyson Fury fighting at 2pm Eastern, 11am out here on the west side tomorrow. So don't throw on Netflix live on Saturday night or whatever thinking, oh, the fight's Saturday night. It's. It's not here. So it's gonna be that weird daytime.
Steve Covino
Also on Netflix. Sheng Wang. If you don't know who he is, you're gonna Sheng Wang. It's called Purple. It's a new comedy special on Netflix. And look out for that. And over promised episode 135, our bonus pod. You could watch it. It's one of the best things we do. Over promised stuff. We don't have time for watch over promised 135 right here on the YouTube page. We talk booties, we talk worse names in sports, and we talk the weird hat hat trend that was going on this week. A lot of weird hats.
Rich Davis
Speaking of, you know what? Tomorrow is the White Sox game on the west side of Chicago. I'm sorry, south side of Chicago.
Iowa Sam
Yes.
Rich Davis
Pope hat day. If you go to the game, you get a pope hat. It's a winter hat that looks like a pope hat. So, hey, enjoy that.
Steve Covino
Why?
Iowa Sam
And why is that rich?
Rich Davis
Because the Pope Leo is a White Sox fan and they're trying to do anything to get fans.
Iowa Sam
Hey, Chicago, right?
Rich Davis
Yes. From Chi Channel Gag. All right. In the movie theater, it should be all about Super Mario Galaxy again. I'm sure that's going to make a couple hundred million dollars once again. But there's a drama if you're an MMA fan. Russell Crowe. It's called Beast. One of the. One of. One of. Who's this studly dude? Hems. One of the Hemsworth Bros. Is in it.
Iowa Sam
I just saw something about that movie. I'm like a Russell Crowe movie. Like, I barely heard about it.
Rich Davis
Yeah, no, it's called Beast. It's in theaters. It's an MMA movie that you would have to go to the theater for. Thrash is a shark movie that's on Netflix. It looks ridiculous. There's a big flood, I believe, in the south, and sharks are eating everyone. It's like Thrash. Yeah, it's called Thrash. It looks stupid and fun. Temptation island is back, if you're into smut. Bunch of horny young people that can't keep it in their pantalones. Next week, Danny Turning Point. Remember the base of the Lakers?
Steve Covino
Sort of.
Rich Davis
With Kate Hudson. That's next week. But you, you have jury duty. There's a new jury duty. Remember that show with James Marsden last year?
Steve Covino
Jury Duty with Pauly Short.
Rich Davis
No, not that.
Iowa Sam
Oh, and great, great movie.
Danny
And are you caught up on your Friends and Neighbors?
Rich Davis
I'm going to start it this weekend, Danny. I wanted, like, two to build up, but Jon Ham's back with James Marsden.
Danny
Yeah. And I have to catch up on the season finale of Shrinking. That's Apple tv. And then this movie, we talked about it when it. They had some buzz. And the Sydney Sweeney aspect of it. Christy Martin. Oh, yeah.
Steve Covino
Wait, where is it on?
Danny
It's on HBO Max streaming there now.
Steve Covino
I'll check that out.
Danny
So, yeah, if you want to see the movie, Christie, that's available right now.
Rich Davis
All right, guys, I started watching a docu series. I feel Like Kavino. You like these murder things once in a while.
Steve Covino
Do you guys know.
Rich Davis
Do you guys know anything about this? I was so unaware of the. The Truth and tragedy of Mariah Wilson.
Isaac Loewencron
Wilson.
Rich Davis
It's one of those, like, murder mysteries. She was an amazing athlete. And this is only a couple years ago, but it's trending, though. It's like, trending number one on Netflix. So. The Truth and tragedy of Mariah Wilson.
Steve Covino
Oh, a lot of Netflix stuff.
Rich Davis
Yeah. So, hey, you got plenty of stuff to watch.
Steve Covino
How about you, Sam? Anything good, man?
Iowa Sam
I got some social stuff going on. I'm meeting up with Berschinger and his wife to talk about their honeymoon. They just went to Indonesia and Japan.
Rich Davis
You going to have to sit through a slideshow?
Iowa Sam
Oh, no, I asked for this. I wanted the play by play.
Steve Covino
Nice.
Rich Davis
And here's when we went to a volcano.
Iowa Sam
I'm excited to hear about it.
Rich Davis
And here's what we went to a luau.
Steve Covino
And here's how you're watching Bersha's family movies. I like that.
Rich Davis
Basically. Nice.
Steve Covino
All right, thank you guys for hanging with us. We appreciate it.
Rich Davis
We'll see you guys back here on Monday. Arriva di, baby.
Steve Covino
See you in the promised land.

Geigo presents a 30 second podcast between your podcast. Today's story is shared by one of our listeners. It's called Betrayed by Bill. It was in that moment I caught who was staring back at me in betrayal or more like what, my insurance bill. With trembling hands, I grabbed my phone and switched to geico, saving about $900 in the process and never to be betrayed again. Now that was bloody riveting.
