Poll question, Play of the day, stat of the day, all of that forthcoming combine getting underway. We'll talk about that. In fact, let me start there with the combine. You got players who are going to be arriving today or Yesterday. Coaches and GMs are still talking. The media gets an opportunity. This is, this is sort of the, the Woodstock of, you know, off season where you get local reporters, everybody gets a chance and it's just, you know, a massive media there to be able to ask coaches and GMs questions. And then of course, the players are going to be there at the combine. And you know, when you look at college football, it's amazing. I looked at Mel Kuiper's latest mock draft and you go, man, Ohio State had more talent than anybody else in the country, at least according to Mel's draft. So he's got Caleb Downs, a safety, going number two to the Jets. I think he's got five Ohio State players who could go in the top 15. Carnell Tate is a wide receiver. He could be going. Sunny Styles, a linebacker. He could be going. They got an offensive lineman who could be going first round. And what did Ohio State have to show for this? I'm looking at the schools that are most represented at combine. Texas A&M 13 players. Alabama 12, Ohio State 11. LSU 11, Georgia 10 Oklahoma 10, Miami 10. Clemson 9. Indiana 9. And that's the unique part of this, is you can have individual talent, but a team will carry you through the playoffs. And you saw that with the Indiana Hoosiers winning the national title because blue chip depth at premium positions, great few programs can match the ceiling. But Ohio State didn't win the Big Ten, got manhandled by Miami in the playoffs, but they're still sending 11 players to the combine. And you're probably going to have five of those players drafted in the first round. Seaton, what's poll question for the first hour of the program? We got some options here for you. I think maybe we start with the combine though, and talk about is arm length. The new hand size is Arm length, the new hand size. I was. I was hoping to get five minutes into today's show. I couldn't do it. Four minutes and 22 seconds into the show, and we've brought up arm length. You know, I love hand size. You know I do. I think this is actually a movement by the small hands community to take the focus off of them. Marvin, do you care to comment? How would you guys even figure that? I think the small hands lobbyists are working on, you know, it's actually more about arm length than it is hand size. Just saying. Yeah. Why is it we don't make a big deal about hand size for wide receivers? It. It's easy to throw a football. It's hard to catch a football or easier to throw a football, but, you know, the patron saint of small hands, Kenny Pickett. We got to get an autographed jersey of Kenny Pickett, you know, and, you know, you're in good hands with Kenny Pickett. How did they. How did all state not do something with Kenny Pickett? Like little good hands? Yes. Todd, I don't think we make a big deal about the size of the hands of receivers because that sticky stuff that got in the gloves works in all sizes. What are you worried about the size? That's fair. Yes. Paul. Yeah, Dan. We've been tracking this here at the Dan Patrick show, and peak hand size development and talk was 20, 22 around Kenny Pickett out of Pittsburgh last year. The spike was Will Campbell, the former LSU offensive lineman. I think he was taken fourth overall, but at the combine, his arms measured. Sit down if you're ready to hear this. 32 and five eighth inches. Yeah. It was shocking, and it became one of the bigger topics early in the draft. Wait a minute. So my arms are longer than his? Not wingspan. Each arm? Yes. Straight up. You know how long your arms are? Yeah. You do? Yeah. You keep that in your head at all times? Well, no. You've been measured for a shirt, a dress shirt, or, you know, sport coat. I haven't. Well, I don't know that I have either. Not since my brother's wedding, I think. Yeah. A shirt length? Yeah. Yeah, I've been measured for that. Yeah. Yeah. We're doing the longest arms. We are doing that tomorrow. We're doing arm length on the show. Okay. But Will Campbell was a big topic last year. I could find you a dozen articles talked about his arm length and whether it's a negative going into the league. Yes, Marvin, please, please, somebody have shorter arms than me, please. I don't ask for much in this life. Now all of a sudden, I'm looking around here. I don't know. Well, you could have long arms and small hands, Marvin. Oh, great. Thanks. I'm still mad at Kenny Pickett. Oh, God, what a great day that was, Benjamin. Top 3 Greatest Days of my life. I know. You got married, you had your kid, and you found out your hands are bigger than Marvin's, essentially that I don't have the smallest hands here. It was awesome. And the fact that nobody knew what the results were. We all got our hands measured by Ray, one of the back room guys, and kept it secret. So as we're unveiling this and the smallest hands, and Seaton's ready to go. All right. It's obviously me. I know that I have tiny hands. I'm aware. And then all of a sudden, Marvin has the smallest hands. Yes, Marvin. I knew it was bad when we measured the hands back with. With Ray. Ray just kind of looked at me like, oh, not as big as I thought. So arm length is going to be a big deal, and we'll be all over that, you know, once the results come rolling in here. I'm still. I'm focusing on hand size here. Of course. That is so 20, 22. Yeah, I know. Paulie said you're, you know, you got to get up. You know, caught up with. You're in the dark ages here. I. I still care about the hand size. And. And then here's another thing. Why don't we measure fingers, not your hand size? Because if I'm a quarterback, I got to put my fingers around a football, because you can have a big palm. What do you have against palms? What do you have against palms? Hey, when I was in Panama. When I was in Panama, I had Palm Sunday. Went and got my. You know, I went to say hello, and I got my ashes down there. Yeah. I walked into a church there, got the ashes. They do that on Sundays or Wednesday there. Yeah, I think it was a Wednesday. I think Wednesday is the big day for the ashes. Yeah. But if maybe Palm Sunday is involved in that. Right. It's in the process. Okay, that's coming up. It's the week before Easter. Okay. Yeah. So it's a bad reference there, but I. I did get the ashes. Unless you time traveled. I know Palm Sunday is going to be a big day. Are you going to Panama for Palm Sunday? No, no, no. Only I was just down there in Panama for stem cell, and my wife goes, hey, Ash Wednesday. And I go, all right. So we walked in, walked Into a church. Boom. Got ashes on our forehead, and then went to dinner. Yes, Paul. Back to arm length. Ground zero for arm length this year at the combine is Miami defensive end Reuben Bain. He's 622-77. And they're still gonna. We don't have official arm length on him yet or hand size, but he's a big top. Yeah. Did he talk about this? Marvin? Okay, go ahead. None of the teams seem to be too concerned with it. As long as I just could talk to talk and walk the walk, play with technique. Nobody really asked me about it, so I really don't give the kind of time of day for it. That's just all stuff I feel like you see on social media. But none of the teams have concerns, so I'm not too concerned. Okay, so he doesn't have long arms. Is that what he's saying? This is. This is already a concern. Some scouts are saying they might be under 33 inches, and that is a red flag for defensive end who. You need to get people off you. But I'd rather have my offensive lineman have long arms. Right? Yeah, he sounded very defensive in that. Oh, he defensive? He is. He's defensive. But he was good enough to play well for Miami. Yes. Yes. Well, they got to talk about something here, you know, but, yeah, the arm length, that. That's a big deal. Yes, Todd. Well, maybe you can sneak holding with shorter arm length. It's tougher to see the holding if you got these big long arms like an octopus. It's very easy to see if you're holding somebody. All right, thank you, Todd. Welcome. Seaton. What's poll question for the first hour? Well, we're going to have two up there. Now. What are you most looking forward to from this year's NFL combine? Hand size or arm length? And we're also putting up there. Do you know the length of your arms? Hmm. Okay. Do you guys have any idea? Paul, My dress shirt is 32 and a half inches. The arm length. Your arms are as long as the Patriots offensive line. Yeah. Those are the shirts I bought when I purchased shirts. 32 and a half inches. Okay. I like to pop my cuffs. Yes. I don't know what this says about me, but my shirt sizes always come with an SM or an L. I've never seen numbers attached to it. You've never gone to a tailor? I. You know, I did when my brother got married, I did. Well, I guess when I got married, I did, too, but I don't remember any of that. No, I. I haven't not in 18 years or whatever. Okay. Yeah, yeah. No, it's been a long time. No judging here. It's usually L or xl. Am I. Am I an M these days? It's a. It's one of those letter combinations. Yeah. Paul, when you buy a dress shirt, you do neck and then arm length. So it'd be like 17 inches. 32, 33. Yeah. 3200. 33 is short. 34, 35 is medium. 36, 37 is long with shirt length. Yeah. Back to you. Yeah. All right. Marvin, do you know your arm length? L, xl. I'm in the same boat as. All right, my man. See, Fritzy, Same with you. Yeah. I go to the end of the Alphabet and see how many X's are involved, and that's. Don't have numbers on that. I know my neck size, unfortunately, has. I used to have, like, a 16 and three quarter or a 17 and a half. And it's definitely somewhere in the 19 ballpark. It was impossible to close any of my. If I gotta wear a dress shirt now and have to go buy a new shirt, what's bigger, your neck or your arms? That's a. That's a good question. You know, arms. I'm proud of the neck thing and the double chin thing. That's just a problem when you just can't close that top button when you want to put a tie on. It is pretty deflating where you go to put your shirt on. You're getting all dressed up, and you're like, damn, man, I'm gonna look good tonight. And then you're like. And even come close to closing. You do the. You put your tie on and then unbutton the top button. Yeah. Get a little breathing room in there. Yeah. My wife was bringing this up because my daughter's getting married later in the summer. And she said, are you gonna get a tuxedo? I said, I got one. I got one for my son's wedding. She goes, do you think it still fits? I was like, wait, where did that come from? What am I taking shots for? That was a shot, huh? That was a shot. So now I'm in my head, you know? Now I gotta try on the tuxedo, see if it works, you know? See if it fits. Are you Intermittent fasting until I might want to jump on something. Just saying. I know. Alrighty. So, 8, 7, 7, 3, DP show email address dpdanpatrick.com Twitter handle @dp show operator Tyler sitting by. Who take your phone calls. And once again, the backroom guys have their own T shirt. I'm Anna Navarro and on my new podcast Bleep with Anna Navarro, I'm talking to the people closest to the biggest issues happening in your community and around the world. Because I know deep down inside right now we are all cursing and asking what the bleep is going on. I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. These victims have been let down time and time again for decades and decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration. The Justice Department through I think we counted four presidential administrations failed these victims. Listen to Bleep with Ana Navarro as part of the My Cultura Podcast network available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. On June 11, 1998, a deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department went missing. It's an all out manhunt for John Ajay. Every search and rescue team in LA county has been called in to help. Within days tips started flooding into the sheriff's department. They lure around the drug scene. Was that a deputy was taken care of. Is this the story of a man who just got lost in the desert or of a cover up inside the nation's largest sheriff's department? A homicide captain saying detective, do not find out if this guy's guilty or innocent. Who does that Valley of Shadows, a new series from Pushkin Industries about crime and corruption in California's high desert. Do you have any advice for us while looking into this disappearance? I wouldn't do it alone. Listen to Valley of shadows on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Liza Traeger. And I'm Kara Klenk. We're comedians and your favorite overly invested SVU watchers. On that's Messed up, an SVU podcast. We recap iconic episodes, then talk to the stars who live them. Like the legendary Matthew Lillard, who will never forget his time on svu. I do remember the mustache. I will get a pee. I will get a meme of that mustache. Like, every, like, six days, somebody be like, what was this? Each week we cover the crimes, analyze the plot holes, and insult the outfits. Benson goes to talk to Kelly to, like, tell her the news, but is wearing a beret not the time for a silly hat? Benson, what are you doing? New episodes drop every Tuesday on the exactly right network. Listen to that's messed up on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Dun, dun dun. Segregation in the day, integration at night. When segregation was the law, one mysterious black club owner had his own rules. We didn't worry about what was going on outside. It was like stepping in another world. Inside Charlie's Place, black and white people danced together. But not everyone was happy about it. You saw the kkk. Yeah, they was dressed up in their uniform. The KKK set out to raid Charlie, take him away from here. Charlie was an example of power. They had to crush him. From Atlas Obscura, Rococo Punch and visit Myrtle beach comes Charlie's place, a story that was nearly lost to time until now. Listen to Charlie's place on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There was a moment yesterday at the combine where Mike Vrabel, Patriots head coach, was asked about his relationship with the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. brown. It's meant. I think the relationship with. With players, and specifically, yes, about AJ has meant a lot. I've watched him grow. I've watched him mature. I'm proud of him, proud of the, you know, the father that he is. I'm proud of the husband. And that has nothing to do with where he plays and. Or where he played. So those are the things that are important. You know, we reach out and text each other during the things that happen, good to each other. And sometimes Things don't go so well for, for the people that you're close with and you text those as well. So it's been, it's a two way street of support and reminders of what got us to where we are here today. Okay. Now, he wasn't asked, would you like to have A.J. brown on the Patriots? Because then if he answers that and says, of course, that would probably be viewed as tampering. But to have a relationship where you're texting another player, and I don't know how many coaches do this with players who played for them or you just become friendly with somebody, but here's A.J. brown, who has made no secret of the fact that he probably would like to play someplace else. And all of a sudden you ask Mike Vrabel about your relationship with A.J. brown. Now, I don't know if anybody followed up and said, hey, would you be open to trading for A.J. brown? And you can't answer that. It's like, you know, coaches are in GMs, are asked about Max Crosby. Well, you can't say anything about it because that would be tampering. But that's why they're all gathered here. Well, for other reasons. But there's transactions that are going to be happening because of conversations that are happening at the combine because you have everybody there. So if a GM goes, hey, why don't you come over to this room and let's talk, I'm going to talk to you about a couple of things there and you could hopefully do that in privacy and maybe hammer out something. So maybe Max Crosby gets moved with a conversation. Although there were two reports yesterday saying the Raiders aren't going to move on from Max Crosby. I would only because I need a whole lot of help and I don't think we're going to be good when Max Crosby is playing at a peak level and that's the next two years. He's 28 and you could probably get, you know, a pretty good haul for Max Crosby. The Eagles with A.J. brown. Do I think he's playing someplace else? I certainly get that feeling. If I'm Buffalo, I would be interested. Well, there's a lot of teams that would be interested. Patriots could certainly use a talent like A.J. brown. I just don't know why he's unhappy with the Eagles. If you won a Super bowl and he didn't seem like that made him happy. The number of targets that you get, you're still the go to wide receiver there, but just found felt like there's a disconnect between him and coach him and, or quarterback and plus he seems to be a different kind of guy. But you just signed a contract extension, I think the previous year. I would have thought that, you know, you're going to play the next three or four years there. The Texans, the Texans basically said, are you kidding me? Their GM met with the media at the combine. We're not trading C.J. stroud. I didn't think you'd be trading him. I'd be curious if you're signing him to a long term deal or are you going to make him prove it this next year? Because normally when you have your franchise quarterback, you know, by year three, you know, but you kind of have to, all right, I'm going to give you that contract because I'm going to give it to you early because it's going to go up even higher if we wait another year or two years. But Miami thought they had their franchise quarterback in Tua. And I kept saying, do not extend him. Arizona, I said, do not extend Kyler Murray. I gotta have, I gotta see more. And we saw what happened with the Dolphins. They got $99 million at capit. And I don't know what you do with him, Arizona, with Kyler Murray, I don't know what you do with him. Is anybody going to trade for those guys? You just release them. But that's where you get to that third year and you go, all right, we found our guy. There was nothing that suggested that TUA and Kyler and I view them kind of similarly, that they can be good quarterbacks. I think Kyler could be great. I just don't know if he wants to be great. And you know, that is a big issue. You get paid, hey, I'm good, I can still play. But do you want to be great? Because I think he should be a Lamar Jackson kind of player. You know, a right handed Michael Vick. Like he puts pressure on the defense and, and gives you a weapon very few players in the league have. With Tua doesn't have a strong arm. I think he can be accurate, but you know, there was the health concerns and you know, just didn't think he had a strong enough arm. You know, he had wide receivers that, hey, that was a 75 yard touchdown. How far did he throw it? Seven yards and then they took it 68 yards. You know, when you have two of the fastest guys in the league, you can have a quarterback like that, but now you're on the hook, but you didn't need to be. But you know, Buffalo did This the Ravens, Mahomes with the Chiefs. Herbert, we, We've seen quarterbacks get taken care of. After three years with C.J. stroud. I'm not giving you $250 million. Prove it. Go out there and play again. But also, it's incumbent upon the Texans to give him the tools, the offensive line, they had some injuries. Joe Mixon was out to see if, like, what kind of quarterback is he? Because we've seen that. Oh, my gosh. And then we've seen the. Oh, my gosh. Yes, Paul, like you said, a number of guys did get it after their third season. Brock Purdy, after his third pro season, got the big contract. His third season, he was 6 and 9 as a starter, 20 touchdowns, 12 picks. But that was the year they gave it to him. I know Josh Allen, obviously, DeSean Watson got it after his third year, got the big contract. Jared Goff got it. The Browns said that their quarterbacking situation, it's open competition, and front office said, you know, why wouldn't it be? Historically, it's been an open competition. It feels like I, you know, if desean Watson's healthy, I put him in. I mean, you've already taken the PR hit because you signed the guy and everything that happened off the field, if he's your best option and you got a couple of first round draft picks, like, the Browns could really be a quality team. They had a good draft, they've had a couple of good drafts. And all of a sudden, if you fortify the offense, the defense is pretty good. And maybe, you know, maybe Baltimore isn't as good or Cincinnati's not as good, Pittsburgh's not as good. So maybe, you know, granted they're over under a six and a half, but this is before the draft, before we find out what they're going to do with their quarterbacking situation. But I still think Malik Willis is the big target. If I'm looking at a quarterback and I can get him for $30 million and I'm the Minnesota Vikings, I say to Malik Willis, come on in. Here you go. Job's yours. Or the Steelers. Now all of a sudden, I'm not year to year, you know, this may last one more year with Aaron Rodgers. You still got to get your quarterback for the future. And if I could get Malik Willis, who I think is 27, and I can pay him three years, $100 million. And look, I am all in on Malik Willis, but I've, I've been all in on Justin Fields as well, so damn it, he's going to prove that he can play in the NFL. It might be the UFL that he's going to play, but Malik Willis, I think would be a really valuable upgrade for them. I don't want to see him go to Arizona. I don't want to see him go to Miami. But he's going to go where he can start. But I'm just saying I want to, I want to see him succeed. And I, you know, he didn't get a long shelf life in Tennessee because they were like, no, we've seen enough. Now we're moving on. What I saw in Green Bay when he filled in for Jordan Love, I'm like, hey, that guy could be a starter in the league. Yes. Where do you think Malik Willis ends up? Do you have any thoughts on that? Read on that. The Steelers. Wait, are we playing the game? Oh, I'm sorry, Did I jump? Are we gonna play the game? Should we play it later? I may have just thrown into a game that we weren't prepared for. Let's play the game. Let's play the Malik Willis game again. We're not ready for this. Marvin, I'm gonna start with you. Malik Willis. Right out of the gate. Yeah, right out of the gate. Marvin, you're on the spot. Spot. Yeah. I saw where you were googling something there. You were going to try to get a little inside information. That's where sources close to me tell me Malik Willis plays where next year. This is the point where I hate that you can see me. The Miami Dolphins. Okay, Paul, I really haven't chopped this up yet. Unfortunately. I am going to go with the Arizona Cardinals cap room. And they need stability. That poor guy. Yep. Todd, Miami. Time to move on from tua. Okay. Seaton. I think the Pittsburgh Steelers. Okay. I'm gonna go to the Minnesota Vikings. Dang. Yeah, it's like J.J. mcCarthy. Get healthy, sit, and maybe you don't get that job back. I put Malik Willis in the dome in that division. He knows the division. He was with Green Bay and they got weapons. All they're missing is a quarterback. And I don't think J.J. mcCarthy is the answer. At least not yet. Yeah, Paul, but if you sign Malik Willis, that's probably a three year deal that ends J.J. mcCarthy's career. And Aaron Rodgers. One year deal is like a pause on McCarthy. Yes, that. It's awkward but good if they get Willis. But if I'm Malik Willis, do I want to throw to the wide receivers in Minnesota or the ones in Pittsburgh? I'm going to go to Minnesota. Half My games indoors. In fact, you could look at the other Detroit road game will be indoors. So, you know, I think there's a lot of positives with that. Yes. Marvin. And the vikings just won 14 games two years ago. So it's not like they've been. Sorry with Sam Darnold. Whoa. Yes. Todd. Wouldn't the packers do everything they could to avoid, you know, in. In your own division? Or they're gonna. They'd have no power. I guess once he's a. He's a free agent, so he can just go wherever he wants. I don't know if he had. There's anything they can do to keep him from going to. I think he's a true free agent. They can go. And I saw a report where. And we threw this out. You know, you get that three year, you know, $100 million deal, that sweet spot of around 32, $33 million. And I think Minnesota was. Would be. They'd be ready to go if you put him in there and just hope he doesn't turn out to be Justin Fields. I have friends who were jets fans and they're like, yeah, how did Justin Fields do this week? Like, just because I said, hey, I like him and I think he could play. All of a sudden, you know, I'm getting smacked around because I had the audacity to say, I like Justin Fields. Yes. Marvin. When we talk about Kayla, Will, like, I don't know. I still love Justin Fields. I was like, man, when you love, you love hard. Yeah. Paul. Yeah. The Justin Fields contract with the jets, it's 2 years and 30 million of it is guaranteed. So he's not expensive, but it doesn't seem there's like, there's a future there. No. When your owner comes out and basically makes fun of you, the guy paying you, I would say no. All right, a couple of phone calls here. Arm length. We're going to measure our arms coming up, but I don't want to reveal the results until tomorrow. Big build up. Meet Friday. Now, I don't know if there's actually stretching exercises. Players do stretch their hands. There are stretching exercises for hands. Kind of like, you know how like your spine compresses and you can like hang upside down and it'll do that. I don't know if they have that type of stretcher situation for your arms. I do know that right now Paulie is Googling. Can you make your arms longer? Absolutely. If you look at my Google page right now. No, no. I know ways to make your arms longer. I can See the reflection in your glasses? It's my tell. Yes, I can see arm length. And I'm googling this goo goo. Googly eyes. Garrett in Kansas. Hi, Garrett. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. Calling in for a new member to Dan Nation, Camden, Ryan Swaty, who was born yesterday, weighing in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces. Congrats. Thank you. Thank you. Mom and baby are doing well. After listening this morning, I had the nurse take his official arm length, which measures in at above average 8.05 inches. Okay. Now we're also working on getting his official hand size measurement. And his three older brothers, Carson, Corbin, and Cooper, believe that he will give Marv a run for his money in that category. Wow. Wow already. I will say you're a good sport. When we were in San Francisco at the super bowl, the number of people who came up, they didn't want a picture. They just go, hey, Marvin, put your hand up. That first meet and greet in Arizona when I was. Oh, my first one, they're like, oh, I was about to give him a high five. I want no high five from you. You want to measure? See how big your hands are? Look, Jordan. Love came up to me. Oh, my. Jordan. What's up, man? How are you? I'm Marvin. Oh, put your hands up. Damn. I've known you for, like, 10 seconds. I know. It's nice to meet you. No, no, that one hurt a little bit. Jeremy in Alabama. Hi, Jeremy. Hi, Dan. Marvin. I love you, buddy. I love you. Don't let. Don't let it. Don't let the haters bring you down with the hands. I've got small hands, too. I always got taught growing up that if you measured, like, however tall you were, that was your width. That, like, that was your arm span. That's how long your arms were from. From, like, fingertip to fingertip. And so I. You know, Todd Fritz, I. I'm sorry for your arm whip. Have a good day, guys. All right, all right. Thank you, Jeremy. Yes, Todd. When we did we decide this shame and the size of arm lengths or hands or anything, why is. Why does that have to even be, like, a bad thing or some kind of a negative for a human being? Well, why did you want your arms to be big back when you were younger? To impress the girls and feel better about myself and look like a tough guy when I know that I'm like, cowardice and not tough. Everything's a competition, Todd. I mean, I wasn't in competition with anybody. It was for my own opinion. I'm talking about hand size and how long your arms are. It's. It's just a fun competition. But would that. Would that really upset you? Like, tomorrow, if you have the. You had the shortest arm length, would you think any less of yourself wouldn't upset you? It would not. Okay. Even the hands and. Well, then don't worry. Then why are you complaining? I know there's only one thing that would make me feel disappointed, and that can't be on, you know, family show. We're not going to do that. We can measure. The only measurement. Whatever you want to measure, we can go in the back room and see. How about final. You got time to work on it. Looking in the final show. Hold on. Let me Google that. That's Palm Sunday. Whoa. Oh, well said. Andy in Milwaukee. Hi, Andy. Hey. Dance. Love the show. Been listening to you for well over 30 years, including going back to your Bob and Brian days here in Milwaukee. We love your work with Bob and Brian. Milwaukee still loves you. And I wanted to say that your connection with Palm Sunday and Ash Wednesday is. The palms used on Palm Sunday, whatever's left over are burned and used for the ashes the following. When following Ash Wednesday. That's what confused me, because you're getting the ashes on your forehead and I didn't. I forgot that it's the palm ashes. The following. That must be what it was. Yeah, Something like that. Yeah, that's what it was. Yes. You know, the theologian that I am. Yeah. The churchgoer that I am. Yeah, yeah. The Palm Sunday ashes for the next year. And with your spirit. Yes, yes, Todd. You could start a new tradition and make it your own thing. They always add little things here and there each year to a religion. Why not? No, not something like that. No. Ash Sunday, Palm Sunday. No, no, that. That's an important one. Todd, stay in your lane. Okay. Stay in my Jewish language. Played that card on. Yeah. Listen, bar mitzvah boy, you don't know anything about this. Yes, I am. Whatever, one or one and a half percent Jewish. So I can talk about your religion, but you can't talk about mine. That seems reasonable. I didn't think about that. Be gentile with him, please. We're rolling now. We're rolling. We do this all day. How about we take a break here? Take a break. The 13 game winning streak is in serious jeopardy. It was a mess last night. That's courtesy of Yukon radio network, Learfield Sports. Connecticut held St. John's without a field goal for the last 17 and a half minutes of the game. St. John's missed its last 24 shots from the floor. That's your play of the day. Play of the day brought to you by Dude. Dude. Dude. Wipes Wetter is better available at Amazon and major retailers nationwide. Do wipes best clean Pants down. Update the poll results if you can. Seaton. Yeah, let's see. We got a couple of real doozies in there today. Do you know the length of your arms? One of my most favorite poll questions we've ever had. Right now, 83% of the audience say no. Okay, those are my people. Would you rather have small hands or short arms? Right now, that's a lot closer. That's at 51% short arms rather than small hands. That's interesting. And what are you looking forward to most in this year's NFL combine? Hand size or arm length? Hand size. Still running away with that one at about 61%. If you could, if you had to have, if you were saddled with small hands or short arms. Todd, I'll start with you. I rather have longer arms than hands. I'm okay with the small hands. I wouldn't want small arms and have like that Toronto Raptor kind of logo kind of thing. That'll be weird. I do that enough when the check comes, you know, but I. Oh, what? You keep your hands in your life. Even more obvious if you have longer arms and you're still not reaching for it. You got that short arms, deep pockets combo, that stuff. What about Seaton? Small hands, long arms? I feel like I can't answer this. Short arms? I can't. I really can't answer this because I've spent most of my life with, up until, you know, just the last couple of years, tiny hands, and then they've gotten exponentially bigger. But I've had small hands most of my life and I'm very comfortable with them, so I'm okay with small hands. I'll take the arm. Marvin. Small hands, short Arms. Take a wild guess of what I'm gonna say. You know what? You're gonna take the short arms now. I'm comfortable with the small hands. Yeah. So I'm gonna take the. Oh, yeah. Okay. Paul, I would not want short arms. That's unhideable. Okay. I'm trying to think. I'm probably. I never thought about arm length. Wingspan's everything in the draft. Yeah. Oh, I know. But growing up, it wasn't. Somebody said, hey, how long are your arms? I mean, that's really what we're talking about anyway, right? Is wingspan not really arm length? Yes, yes, it is wingspan. I mean, I would just say my arms were long enough to pat myself on the back. That's. That's all that mattered. Yes, Todd. But if you're giving your partner a hug and he or she says, okay, you can hug me now, and you're already doing it, that means you have very short arms. I'm hugging you. You don't feel that. Wasn't that that poster, though? Michael Jordan, I think it was. And his arms, arms were like. Yeah, it's his wingspan. Yeah. I don't know what his wingspan was. Gonna guess 7ft 2 or something. Something crazy. But, you know, having long arms in basketball, that's, boy, that's a, you know, great, great advantage to have. And it feels like that's the one thing that's brought up now. You're a three and D guy, but wingspan is going to be seven feet two. Yes. Paul. the pre draft camp, way back in the eighties, Michael Jordan, six, eleven and a half. Okay. I thought it'd be longer than that. Daniel in South Carolina. Hey, Dan, what's on your mind today? Hey, first time, long time. 510 and a gout ridden. 195. Sorry to hear that. I knew a guy in high school. Now I'm 51 years old, but I know a guy in high school who had pretty long arms. He's probably six, six. But I guarantee you, if you do, we measure from shoulder to wrist or shoulder to fingertips. Paulie, do you have the official measurement? Yes. If you're measuring your shirt at a store, they go from like the middle of your neck to your wrist, actually. But at the NFL combine, it's top of the shoulder to end of your middle finger. Okay, back to you. All right, there you go. Daniel Lucas in Texas. Hey, Luke, what's on your mind? Hey, Dan. Good morning. Good morning. You know, lots of things permeate the show. Out in the fans of the shows are lives And I'll say one that Seton has always said that my wife and I have turned into a joke is we'll use the hey now, you know, kind of as a innuendo or if someone else just has a funny joke, kind of are like, hey, that's the punchline. But I just want to know from Seaton's perspective, has anyone walked home with more swagger and more of a hey now attitude than the day Seton realized he had only the second smallest hand on the DP show? Seaton, I'm still riding that wave. It's probably the most confident I've ever been in my entire life. It was starting from that day up until now. It's changed my whole life. Home life, social life, everything. I came home, I was like, babe, check, he's out. Come here, come here. Look at these. Now I know why you love me. Tony in Columbus. Hi, Tony. What's on your mind? Hey, Dan. How you guys doing today? Great. Fourth time on the show. 5:10, dad bod187 had a question for Marvin. I've done some research and I was so shocked to find out that you're the guy that puts those little sailboats in the little bottles, man. How do you do? Wow. First of all, it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it, so might as well be me. Tony with a shot. Hey, how do you do it, Marvin? Magic Chris in Syracuse. Good morning, Chris. Hey, thanks, Dan. Hey, I have a comment and a question for you. I wonder with pitchers in baseball of hand size or arm lengths. Factor in with scouts and off of CC Sabathia getting his number retired by the Yankees. Dan, I'll Never forget when CeCe shared with you that he'd rather hit a home run than throw a no hitter. And what do you think is more impressive, Dan? A pitcher hitting a home run or throwing a no hitter? Oh, throwing a no hitter. I mean, they all grew up and they were two way players. So your pitchers usually were your, you know, best hitters. Or they probably played shortstop when they weren't pitching and said, most of these guys can swing a bat, but to be able to throw a no hitter, having done both, by the way, when I was in high school, throwing a no hitter, just saying. I mean, struck out 12. Yes. Which harkens back to what we're talking about yesterday. What happens one day there's going to be the last pitch is a strike up for a perfect game, A cold strike. It's a perfect. Oh, he's challenging, he's tapping his head. Wait a second. It may not be a perfect game. I'm gonna call it a walk now. Take your time. CC Sabathia's number is full. Count the last batter for a perfect game. Change the strike to a ball. CC Sabathia's numbers, 52. They will retire that on September 26, which Todd says if you multiply 26 twice, it gets to 52. How do you like that? I don't know what that means. A small numerology thing. The 26 times two is his jersey. Mock draft time. Matt Miller from the Mothership will join us. Coming up. This is an I Heart podcast. Guaranteed human.
