Yes, if you said Drake May you would be correct. Standalone game and everybody's got an opinion about the Patriots and the jets. But for the Patriots, Drake May look made it look really easy now. Yes. Are we going to factor in they're playing the jets but the jets had won back to back games and I thought that first drive I'm like okay, all right, point spreads 12 and a half and then all of a sudden it ended up 13 point spread there margin. Man, I'm always watching those things just because the number of times when they just nail it when it's like okay, the the point spread is 12 and a half and they win by 13. Dylan, congratulations. You had the jets in the money line, didn't you? I did, Dan. And that first drive was, dare I say, inspiring. And then it was very, very quickly uninspiring. And I'm watching Justin Fields and it made me, it dawned on me last night as I'm watching him of how easy college can be for certain quarterbacks at certain programs. Like being the quarterback at Ohio State where receivers were wide open. Justin Fields was a really good quarterback at Ohio State. Like he was athletic, he could throw the football at an unbelievable game against Georgia. And now you realize the difference between college and the pros because he's not a starting quarterback in the NFL. If your game plan is basically just spread everybody out and let him run, then he could be your quarterback. But watching last night, it's just not there. Meanwhile, Drake May made it look very easy if you would have had him wear number 12 last night. Now, granted, he's more athletic than Tom Brady, but if he was wearing number 12 last night and you saw him in the pocket, you'd go, oh, they're showing old clips of Brady. Now, granted, the throwback uniforms, I kind of like the look of them. I was okay with it. Like, at first, I. I thought, somebody's in trouble. Whoever did the laundry is in trouble. Those are faded. And then I was like, okay. It kind of had a Civil War Union blue to it, I guess. Yarmouth blue. Yes. So I was. I, you know, curious how the Patriots would react as being a big favorite in a game you're supposed to win. But for Drake May, Patriots handled the Jets 27 14. New England's now 9 and 2. And I know some 9 and twos aren't the same as other 9 and twos, but they could end up with home field advantage throughout the entire AFC playoffs. Chiefs aren't going to get home field advantage. You know, still can factor in it. You know, Buffalo can win the division, but the Patriots schedule is not that difficult. Second half of the season, and the west, they're beating up on each other. You got Denver and Kansas City coming up, but watching the Patriots, they're in great shape. I don't think the AFC is great. I think the NFC is top heavy, better. But if you're the Patriots and a Patriot fan, you're like, okay, we can make a run at this. And I think it's probably the first time you watched a Patriot game all the way through, and you're probably going, I don't know who some of these guys are. Except for Stefon Diggs, and he had nine catches for 100 yards. So that's the 39th 100 yard gain in his career. The only active player with more is Devonte Adams with 45. Stat of the day. Stat of the day. Stat of the day. Stat of the day. Here comes that. What? Stat of the day. Thank you, Ron Burgundy. Stat of the day brought to you by Panini America, the official trading cards of the Dan Patrick Show. By the way, Will Ferrell is doing a golfing series, or it's a series where he's the main character. And I don't know the name of it, but he got injured and then they said they had to stop shooting. So I reached out to him yesterday and I said, I turned my back one time and look what happens. You get hurt. He goes, I don't know how this became a big story, but thoughts and prayers to Will Ferrell for whatever his injury is. But he says that he will start filming again soon. Yes. Paul, Is he on the IR Four weeks? I don't. I don't know. I don't know if Variety's gonna pick this up, if Hollywood has, like an injury list, because, you know, sometimes you'll see these actors, they get hurt. Like somebody will break a hand or something or a knee injury, and then they have to shut down for a while. Yeah. Paulie, if you remember the Entourage movie, our friend Kevin Connolly, when they were getting ready for that, the scene outside, they were throwing the ball around with Russell Wilson and different players. He broke his leg, like, broke his leg. They had to medicate him and finish the scenes because they had tons of extras and so he was all medicated in a few different scenes. They had to medicate me to watch that movie. A lot of cameos. Yeah. Yeah. Too many. Trayvon Henderson had three touchdowns and he is the. Okay, how many rookie. Rookies have scored three touchdowns this year? Three touchdowns in a season? If you said five, you'd be correct. Henderson, Quinshon, Judkins, Cam Scatterboo, Ashton Genti and RJ Harvey. There were zero rookies with three touchdown games last season. The last time you had five rookies with three touchdown games in the same season back in 2010 of the day, start of the day. This is the start of the day. Patriots have their quarterback. They got a running back. Stefon Diggs is on a team friendly deal. He's got two more years. They got more cap room than anybody. They're set. They're set. Now they had to, quote, settle for the third pick, the third quarterback in the draft, and they end up getting Mike Vrabel, who somehow was made available by Tennessee. The jets were interested in Brable. Patriots swooped in and got Mike Vrabel. And just like that, the Patriots are back. And if you look at the division, the jets are in a rebuild. Buffalo is kind of not as formidable as they've been before. And the Dolphins, who knows, feels like they're in kind of no man's land as well. But the patriots have won eight in a row. Longest winning streak since 2019, which happened to be Tom Brady's last season in New England. Alrighty. Rob Gronkowski, speaking of the Patriots, will join us a little bit later on your phone calls. Always welcome. 877-3-DP show email address dpdanpatrick.com Twitter handle @DP Show Good morning. If you're watching on Peacock, thank you for downloading the app. On Monday, the show will also be available on NBC Sports Network. Got a big relaunch with that. This show, Mike Florio Pro Football Talk Live, and also Dan LeBatard Show. Speaking of Mike Florio, Mike caught my attention. In his latest column at Pro Football Talk, Mike Florio said the Giants could be interested in Bill Belichick. Now, he says the challenge is they want Belichick, but they don't want his girlfriend and they don't want Mike Lombardi. That's his. I don't know what Mike Lombardi's official job is as he's the GM at North Carolina, but according to Florio at Mike Lombardi. And Jordan Hudson wouldn't be part of the deal. Well, Jordan Hudson's part of the deal because that's his girlfriend, maybe fiance, Mike Lombardi. Okay. If you have to kick him to the curb. But that's. This is the one condition. According to Florio, this is the one condition is if you bring in Belichick, you can't have any of the ancillary characters here. Okay. All right. Sure. Yes, Todd. Yeah, the way I read it, the floor is basically if they were even to consider the idea of Bill Belichick becoming their next head coach, those things would. Those people would have to not be involved. Yeah. If I'm the Giants, I don't do that. Find the Giants. Find somebody that you're comfortable with, who's comfortable with Jackson Dart as his quarterback and Cam Scatterboo, Malik, neighbors. I mean, they. They have some nice building blocks there, but I'm not bringing in Bill Belichick. No, not at all. Alrighty. Come up with a poll question. Got a play of the day, stat of the day, all of that forthcoming. You got a busy weekend. College and pro will do the most must win game of the weekend. Who had the best week in sports. Seaton will join us from the road coming up next hour. And let me see, anything else that. Well, it is a meat Friday. It's a Thanksgiving Friday. The calendars available, tailgates available. We're ready to go. What poll question are you looking at? First hour there, Dylan. All right, we got a couple options then this one's from Paulie. The NFL team that's in the best shape for the next five years. Five years. Commanders, Lions, Patriots, and then we can decide on a fourth team. Okay, Paul, you got a couple more to sprinkle in? Well, I would say those teams because the Lions are good and everyone's under contract. Amanra St. Brown, Panay Sewell. Golf's contract is somewhat friendly. Aiden Hutchinson. Hutchinson, Jamar Gibbs. Yeah. Okay. Drake Mays on a rookie deal. Lots of cap space, as you said, with the Patriots, a coach under contract that seems like an alpha dog. And then the Commanders, even though it's an off year. Jane Daniels. Everyone loves him or loved him. Rookie deal still good. Coach. It just feels like it's. It's set for the next few years. I don't know if there's a fourth team. Broncos. Yeah. Man, we cooled off on Bo Nicks, didn't we? That didn't take long. Like, I wouldn't put the Rams in there because in two years we don't know what the Rams quarterback situation. Yeah, that's the only reason the Rams are in great shape today. Yes. I would put Denver in there because I have to believe in Sean Payton and kind of getting Bo Nix back to where he was last year. That defense, I think they have 46 sacks so far. It's. It's been, I think, 20 years since a team. Maybe 30 years since a team had that many sacks this deep into the season. Do you have a great defense? Seattle seems like they're in pretty good shape. I. Maybe we're not all in because we want to see what Sam Darnold does in a playoff game, but this is a big game coming up this weekend. You can make an argument that the team that wins the Seattle LA game is the best team in the nfc, and that's saying a lot. But I would put Seattle in there. Sam Darnold's on a team friendly deal. Smith Jigba is their best player. I don't know what his deal is, but other than that, I don't know if you're spending that much money. The Colts situation seems pretty good, but you got to sign up Danny Dimes. So it went from, boy, that's a great story to man, that's $50 million there. Yeah. Paulie, what if I threw in the Cincinnati Bengals even though they're not good today? Joe Burrow under contract for a long time. Chase and Higgins under contract for a long time. No, no, because they have no defense. I can't trust Burrow. He's, you know, he gets injured too much. I got two great receivers, but other than that, I got a coach who may lose his job. So, no, I wouldn't look at that. Stability. Yes. Dylan, I think you've mentioned it before, but the Bengals are really feeling like that may have been their one super bowl shot with Burrow. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm sure people said after they lost to the Rams, hey, they'll be back. There's no guarantee. And can we say that? Oh, yeah, they're, they're going to get back like the Blue Jays. Are you going to say, yeah, they're going to get back. I looked at the odds. They're way down the list to get back to the World Series. You know, I think when we looked at the odds after the super bowl or after the World Series, it was like 9th or 10th best odds to get back to the World Series. All right. Listen to Paper Ghosts, the Texas Teen murders on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. What do you get? When you mix 1950s Hollywood, a Cuban musician with a dream, and one of the most iconic sitcoms of all time, you get Desi Arness, a trailblazer, a businessman, a husband, and maybe most importantly, the first Latino to break primetime wide open. I'm Wilmer Valderrama and yes, I grew up watching him, probably just like you and millions of others. But for me, I saw myself in his story. From cleaning canary cages to this night here in New York, it's a long ways. On the podcast starring Desi Arnaz and Wilmer Valderrama, I'll take you on a journey to Desi's life. The moments it has overlapped with mine. How he redefined American television and what that meant for all of us watching from the sidelines, waiting for a face like ours on screen. This is the story of how one man spotlight lit the path for so many others and how we carry his legacy. Today, listen to Starring Desi Arnaz and Wilmer Valderrama as part of the My Cultura Podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Robert Smith and this is Jacob Goldstein and we used to host a show called Planet Money and now we're back making this new podcast called Business History about the best ideas and people and businesses in history and some of the worst people, horrible ideas and destructive companies in the history of business. Having a genius idea without a need for it is nothing. It's like not having it at all. It's a very simple, elegant lesson. Make something people want. First episode, how Southwest airlines use cheap seats and free whiskey to fight its way into the airline business. The most Texas story ever. There's a lot of mavericks in that story. We're gonna have mavericks on the show. We're gonna have plenty of robber barons. So many robber barons. And you know what? They're not all bad. And we'll talk about some of the classic great moments of famous business geniuses, along with some of the darker moments that often get overlooked, like Thomas Edison and the electric chair. Listen to business history on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What up, y'? All? It's your boy Kev onstage. I want to tell you about my new podcast called Not My Best Moment, where I talk to artists, athletes, entertainers, creators, friends, people I admire who've had massive success about their massive failures. What did they mess up on? What is their heartbreak, and what did they learn from it? I got judged horribly. The judges were like, you're trash. I don't know how you got on the show. Boo. Somebody had tomatoes. I'm kidding. But if they had tomatoes, they would have thrown the tomatoes. Let's be honest. We've all had those moments we'd rather forget. We bumped our head, we made a mistake, the deal fell through. We're embarrassed. We failed. But this podcast is about that and how we made it through. So when they sat me down, they were kind of, like, got into the small talk, and they were just like, so, what do you got? What ideas? And I was like, oh, no. What? Check out not my best moment with me, Kev on Stage on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts. Sun is out. Traeger Grills are fired up. Got turkey today. This is good. This feels like this is football season. You want to go out there and pop somebody? I mean, I don't, but I could see where you get that feeling. We got a fire pit going. This is. This is a good day. Yeah, Dylan, we actually got some extra turkey legs, too, so we can do, like, the Thanksgiving Day game where all the players are chewing on turkey legs. Okay. Yeah, the turducken. We thought about doing a turducken, and it was a little involved. Oh, okay. Well, it's hard for you to cook the turkey, but also sit in Seaton's chair because Seaton's on the road in the Mako Van. It is, Dan, but actually I've got the, the chef IQ fired up, so I don't even have to leave my. Okay, a little product placement. We like that. All righty. We'll get to some phone calls. Nice slate of college football games. The Pole. If I would have told you in August, mid November, late November, the two favorites for the MVP in the NFL would be Drake May and Matthew Stafford. What would you have said about that? Because I'm going to guess in the preseason odds they're probably not in the top 10. Yes, Paul, they were definitely not in the top 10. Matthew Stafford was plus 5,000. Drake May was plus 6,000. Some of the players ahead of them in preseason MVP odds Tua, Dak Prescott, Trevor Lawrence, Brock Purdy, CJ Stroud and all the other big names. Here is Mike Vrabel, Patriots head coach on his quarterback. And we have high expectations for Drake. He has high expectations for himself. He'll continue to improve and know that he'll stay humble through this all. And you know, again, and as far as the performance tonight, I thought it was, you know, again, in first view, pretty, pretty good. It was good enough to win. I mean, took care of the football. Yeah, I think there were three drops. I mean, he could have easily had close to 30 completions and over 300 yards. And I know you got to factor in there playing the jets, but still you got to factor in the jets had won back to back games. You want to see composure. I want to see like, how are you from play to play. And that's where you find that out when you actually watch a game, when you watch the red zone, it's very deceiving, very misleading now. It's very convenient. I enjoy watching it, but if I really want to watch a player or watch a team, you got to watch the game and I want to see what you do if there's adversity. I've said before, the most important situation is you've just thrown an interception. What do you do the next time you come out when you're back on the field after you throw a pick six? How do you react like that? Those. That's real, that's important because you can be there and everybody's wide open and then you have those games when nobody's wide open and then there's pressure on you. I thought the Patriots line did a wonderful job. It's, it's a group and it's not fair to say no names, but their names you're not familiar with, especially on defense. But imagine Mike Brable has to wake up every morning and just go, man, I'm so glad I got fired. I'm so glad. I mean, Tennessee in the winter and New England in the winter. Okay, but look, he's an Ohio State guy. I mean, he's used to the cold. He played for the Patriots. But you also wake up and you, like, you have your quarterback. It is. I don't know if there's a better feeling for a coach than realizing I have my quarterback because you can talk to those other coaches who don't have their quarterbacks, and life is miserable. All righty. Let's see. Buddha in San Francisco leads us off. Hi, Buddha. What's on your mind? Nobody happy me Friday, boys. Let's go, Fritzi. Dan, you guys mentioned you announced the latest calendar dropping, and I thought of a proposal for you guys. And to all of Dan nation, the last rendition of the calendar in 2027 could be, like a collaboration of all, like, the most greatest moments of the show. I mean, you could have McLovin breaking his glasses. Jerry west coming in with your birthday cake. Chrissy Teigen decorating the Christmas tree with Fritzi. You know, the greatest Halloween costume in beefy show history. The pump hats and kick. I mean, there's a slew of many others that we could do, but it'd just be a fun, memorable way to like, just kind of like, do a final. Final. And then Dan real quick to see Aaron Judge wind al MVP was so lame. Like, now Cal rally knows how it feels to not win an Emmy. He got jobs, Dan. Not good. Thank you, Buddha. All right. I said I would be fine if Aaron Judge won the mvp. He put up great numbers. His numbers a lot better than Cal Raleigh, except for the home runs. Here's the. Here's the question I would ask when Yankee fans get sensitive about this. If Aaron Judge was on Seattle and Cal Raleigh was on the Yankees, who wins mvp? And that's a rhetorical question because we know that Cal Raleigh as catcher of the Yankees and he is a gold glove catcher. He is going to be your mvp, right? They would talk about, oh, my gosh, he's the. He's the next Thurman Munson. I mean, we know this. This played a role. Now, Aaron Judd, Aaron Judge can be a liability in the field. He's not a good outfielder. He's a great hitter. He's going to be a hall of Famer. Cal Raleigh plays the most important position in baseball. He's out there every single day. Look at that. Pitching Staff. He helped develop a very good young pitching staff. They made the playoffs. I gotta factor in all of those things. But I think the hammer is if Cal Raleigh was the catcher for the Yankees, hitting 60 home runs, winning the division, developing a young pitching staff, being a Gold Glove catcher, he wins the mvp. Aaron Judge is great. The numbers are phenomenal. Batting average was, you know, probably 50 points higher. I understand all of those things. The hardest position, most important position. You got a Gold glove catcher and 60 home runs. Okay. You know how many games he missed? 3. I don't know if he gets another chance. That's not why I would say, you know, he deserved the mvp. I would just say we forget when you're a catcher, I mean, it's. You never get a day off when you catch. I can put Aaron Judge in the outfield and he might get four balls hit his way. We've seen him, you know, in the playoffs. Be a lot liability out there. But it's not really about. He's not a great fielder. It's that Cal Raleigh is a really good catcher and he hits 60 home runs. And. And I don't want this to be that I'm anti Judge as much as I. I just think you got to factor in where Cal Raleigh was doing this in Seattle and the importance of doing it in a big market. Now, Ohtani could play anywhere and still win the mvp, but, I mean, he did it with the Angels. But I think Cal Raleigh, to me, location is what prevented him from winning the mvp. Yes. Marvin, is there another team that you would have thought, all right, if you play for the Red Sox, would it have been a closer race? Like you could see them giving it to Cal Riley if you played in Boston instead of Seattle? Yeah. Yes. Because their games are seen by more people. I mean, Sam Darnold is, you know, doing unbelievable things in Seattle. Nobody's really focused on that. Now. You might say, well, Sam Darnold shown us that, you know, he can be good. Not great. Okay. But he's still having an incredible year there. I just think location, location, location. And this is about New York real estate doing it in a Yankee uniform. They. They would have a monument built for him already. They. They'd have a plaque out there. It's not kid anybody. Yeah, Dylan. I feel like defensively that things have kind of gone by the wayside in the MLB too. Like it's for the hall of Fame defense. Wasn't really ever looked at too. And I feel like now for awards and stuff, it's not even like you don't get docked if it's bad, and it doesn't really help you out that much if it's good. Yeah, but that's where I want people to realize. This used to be a thing. My catcher is great. My catcher's out there every game. My catcher is developing a pitching staff and, and hitting 60. Home runs. Home runs. Yes, Paul. But Dan, you remember a time in the 70s and 80s when if you had a very good catcher and they could hit over 250 and give you 20 home runs, that was like a luxury item because you had both. Yeah. Then you have those anomalies like Johnny Bench or Cal Raleigh, where, like, he's both great at catching and great at hitting. And that's come around three or four times in the past 40 years. Yeah, you know, Carlton Fisk was a great catcher, great hitter. Like, nobody is on par with Johnny Bench. You know, Johnny Bench was, I think, the best defensive catcher, and he also was a great offensive hitter. But, you know, it feels like it's. That's a long time ago where we're not really factoring in defense. And I think you have to, in certain positions, certainly, like catcher, you do. You have to factor that in if, if it's a plus. I have to factor that in if it's different. And he's a Gold Glove catcher. So I, I just think if he was catcher for the Yankees, this wouldn't have been close the other way that he would have won the mvp. And then Shohei Otani, now he's going to continue to be the odds on favorite. As long as he's hitting and pitching and hitting at a high level and pitching at a very good level, he's going to be your mvp because nobody can, nobody can top that. And plus, when he is hitting, he's the, he's the only guy on the screen. When he's pitching, he's the only guy on the screen. So when you're watching, you get to watch him do all of this. When Travis Hunter was playing at Colorado, I had to wait for a replay if he did something on defense or wait for a replay if he did something on offense. Ohtani is right there. You tune into a game, he's on the mound. You tune into a game, now he's at the plate. So I get to see him do both of these jobs at a very, I don't have to wait and I have to go, well, you know, let me see the replay. Oh, was that, you know, did he make the catch? You know, then we show You Ohtani's right there. Yeah, Paulie and Ohtani, he casually had 55 homers this year with a season where he had an elbow procedure months before the season and his, his entire availability was in question. And if you look at next year, he's going to hit 40 plus home runs in his sleep and his pitching will be a lot more ramped up. He'll probably start 20 games. I thought Schwarber would get a vote or two because I, I, he's so unique and so dangerous and, and you know, when you think of a leadoff guy, he's the last guy. You think, that's my leadoff guy. But what a valuable, valuable player he was for Philadelphia. So he finishes runner up. No shame in that. But Ohtani unanimous. Yes. Todd, do you think pitchers figure out hitters better than hitters figure out pitchers? Like I'm wondering, over the next few years with Shohei, however dominant he is and may become, will hitters come around to figuring out his style of pitching and he won't be quite as effective in the next few years? Well, he's only going through the lineup maybe twice. You see, the third time is when managers and pitchers get nervous of teams kind of settling in figuring you out. I'm curious if Ohtani adds another pitch eventually. But hitters, hitters are going to figure you out and they're always looking for a tell, you know, then they talk to each other, they go back and look at video, you know, so they're constantly, they're, they're studying you in the moment and it feels like hitters eventually figure out the pictures. Yes. Marvin Showhei's played eight seasons in MLB. He's got four MVPs. Like how many guys were sure fire, no doubt hall of Famers if they had stopped after year eight, I have to look like, what do you like year eight, I'm done. Albert Pujols, probably. Yeah. Paulie. The other thing with Ohtani, because the Dodgers batting him leadoff, they can't really intentional walk him that often. Barry Bonds in his prime batted third and he, I think he had Jeff Kent behind him a lot. But Barry Bonds was once intentionally walked like 120 times in a season. It's freakish. By the way, Ohtani was walked, intentional walked only 20 times last year, which seems low for him, but it still led the majors. Tracy in Oregon. Hi, Trace. What's on your mind today? Hey, good morning guys. I want to stay really great for your show around for years. You know, the gatekeeper, the Stallions out There doing all the work. And about the MVP voting, you sort of sound like it's okay that New York gets the votes. And I'm surprised that somebody doesn't start to question how statistically it's inaccurate, especially how you described about the defensive aspect of the game not being part of it. If someone wanted on your group, wanted to look in the past, 19, 41, 42, you got DiMaggio beats Williams out for the MVP. But if you look at 42, you look at the statistics, wow, it was impossible. It couldn't have been that Joe Gordon would win it. So I guess I'm bothered by how these kinds of things in the sports media seem to be powered by money and the location rather than what are the statistics. Yeah. But thank you, Tracy. I didn't say I was fine with it. I just pointed out I think this is real. That's all. I do think location had a lot to do with this. That's all. But Aaron Judge can win the mvp, and he certainly deserved that, the numbers he put up. I just think you got to factor in a few other things there. And you got to be fair to Cal Raleigh, that position that he plays, what the team did this year, that he hit 60 home runs, he's the only player to hit 60, his team made the playoffs and he didn't win MVP. Yes. Dylan, if Cal Raleigh is the Dodgers catcher and it's him and Ohtani up for mvp, does he have any shot at that? Well, yeah, he has a shot at if he's hitting 60 home runs, but he's. No, Ohtani is still. Ohtani hit what, a couple of home runs less than him and he pitched. Yeah. So, yeah, Ohtani is still going to win that. Ohtani goes into every season with a huge advantage because it's like Usain bolt at the 60 yard mark, 60 meter mark, you're kind of in the picture with him. And then you're not. Because once he starts hitting and then he gets to pitch, I mean, he ramped up his pitching this year. Like they were doing like one inning, two innings. I'm anxious to see how much he gets to pitch next year and is hitting, you know, hits 40 home runs, people would be like, what happened? Yeah, I remember when Mark McGuire, when he had seven or when he had 70 home runs and I said, what happens if he hit 50 next year? He goes, yeah, no, bummer. You know, like had a down year, he hit 50. But Kyle Raleigh had a wonderful year. It was a great story. And I think I was rooting for the story more than anything. But Aaron Judge, one of the great hitters that we've seen modern times, and he's going to be a hall of Famer. So there's no shame if you're Cal Raleigh that you lost to Aaron Judge. I'm just telling you what I think is factual and that is location has a lot to do with this. Let's take a break, play the day next. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. And I threw the Broncos in there. All right, the Patriots are running away with it at 63%. Yeah, you got all that cap space and you got your quarterback only in his second year. And this is where we go. Well, if you redrafted and who are you taking number one. And it feels like it changes week to week here, but now, like Jaden Daniels is a distant memory. Bo Nix, a distant memory. Even JJ McCarthy distant memory. When you look at these, you know, quarterbacks who are coming into the league in the last couple of years, now all of a sudden it's Drake May. And I always go back to Tim Hasselbeck, former quarterback, works for the Mothership. And I remember having him on prior to the draft. He loved Drake May and he watched. He. He was an analyst for a lot of the ACC games, so he got to see him play and he had no doubts about Drake May. Fritzi, see if Tim Hasselbeck will come on soon and take a victory lap here. We'll do that. All right, that'll be good. Mike in Vermont. Good morning, Mike. What's on your mind today? Hey, Mike. Bye. Mike Luciano in Brooklyn is back. Hey, morning, Tapo. What's going on, baby? Marvin, Peace. K. What up, son? Dylan, how you doing? Whatever you got going on. Paulie, what's up, baby? Hi, couple. Listen, I know you haven't heard from me a while, so it's kind of funny. Serendipitous. That judge went to mvp. And everybody's complaining about New York because you haven't heard from me. Because I actually was court ordered by a judge in New York not to call the damn practice. So until I finished my house arrest. So long story short. Wait, wait, wait. Can the judge tell you not to make a phone call? Yeah. So basically what happened, you remember last time we talked, I was telling you I had to go do a little dick on. On Rikers Island, Right. So the impetus of that was actually an argument in the barbershop that started over a conversation with you. So your name has been mentioned in New York City court and Judge Reynolds a couple of times. In my jacket, right? The damn Patrick show. Am I in trouble? No, you're not in trouble. Actually, you got me out of trouble. This is why I'm calling you. I just got on a couple of days ago off a house arrest. So basically what happened was I had to make a private. A personal run. And I guess they frowned upon you leaving your ankle monitor at home while you do that, Right? So I violated that. So I was in the courtroom. He asked me, if you can tell me a good reason why you took off the ankle monitor, I'll reinstate it. So I said, well, my cell phone and ankle monitor, they don't get along. I got too much static and I had to call the Dan Patrick show. So I took off the ankle monitor. He literally reinstated me, but told me that I couldn't call your show until I finished my probation. So I'm off for probation. You'll hear from me again. And one thing about the judge thing, doing what judge does on the New York stage is way different couple than doing it on Seattle stage. I'm not saying anything disparaging about the character, the Catcher in Seattle, but it's a lot more pressure to do it in New York. That's a big factor a lot of people forget about. Did you see P. Diddy when you were in. No, P. Diddy is not where I'm at. I mean, I have a jacket. You know what a jacket is, Marvin? Telling the audience what a jacket is in New York City. Is that your. Your rap sheet? Yeah, there you go, the rap sheet. So I have a jacket that the judge told me that, you know, it keep me super warm in Buffalo in the dead winter, you know. So P. Diddy, you know, he's what they call in personal security protection. You know, he's a high risk person, so you wouldn't be where I was at. Okay, but you know, stay on the straight, narrow. Okay? No problem. So stop giving me hard debates. So something escalated with a argument, and then he ends up going to jail. Yeah. Paulie, imagine your bunk mate comes over. What are you in for? Hot takes. And I'll do them again. I'll call out Caleb Williams. What? Put him in isolate, throw away the key. Hot takes. Luciano, he always has a question. And he works. You know, he has a barber shop. And so, you know, things get heated in the barbershop, like, not my barber shop, but no, no, definitely not yours. Yeah, the barber shop. The barber. Yes, very much. LeBron or Jordan? Don't start. No, no, I'm walking out. I'm walking out. No, thank you. Yes. Todd. I didn't realize an ankle monitor can affect cell phone service signals. That's interesting to know. It's a nice little nugget. I don't think it does. You don't? No. Just came up with something. Yeah. They bought it. Yeah. Yes. Paul, I was just thinking, had. Had anyone out here of us or anybody gotten in a sports argument, gotten so serious it almost got physical. I know. You did. I once, when I was like, 15, said something not nice in Cincinnati about Pete Rose during a sports argument, and I almost got punched in the face. And I remember you had the thing. You've had a couple where it gets intense. Yeah. I had one with Craig Sager years ago when I said underclassmen should win the Heisman. And he. So we're both holding beers and we're talking, and we're outside the. What was that hotel in Miami? Clevelander. The Clevelander. And Paulie's there. It was almost go time. I mean, it really was. And I'm thinking, I'm arguing for Adrian Peterson to win the Heisman, and I think he was a sophomore at the time. And Sager said, no, it should go to seniors. Upperclassmen, all of a sudden, you know, going back and forth. And I've known Sager, you know, prior to that, for about 20 years. I've known. Say, you know, I knew him a long, long time. And I. And then all of a sudden, I don't know what happened. Where cooler heads prevailed. Maybe we realized how stupid this sounded, that we could argue. But I don't think we need to fight. Like, what are you in for? Adrian Peterson. Yes, Paulie. When Craig took off his cranberry blazer, I knew it was almost go time. I was like, dan's gonna get hit by a guy in a cranberry blazer. Yeah. Good times. Good times. Yeah. Segs was a good guy. Good guy. Alrighty. One hour in the books. Rob Gronkowski will join us coming up next hour. He was at the game last night. He signed his one day deal, I think Robert Kraft joke and said, how about two days? So I don't know. Gronk going back as a page. I know Robert Kraft's version of humor. Yeah, you know, the billionaire humor. How about two days? Can I get a raise? Mr. Kraft, Mr. Kraft. One hour in the books. Two more to go. It's a meat Friday. Fritz, he's here. Dylan's in for Seaton. We'll hear from Seaton on the road. Marvin, Paulie, yours truly in the back room. Guys, we're back after this. She said, Johnny, the kids didn't come home last night.
