It's a meat Friday at that, in case you're wondering. Jumbo crab cake sandwiches, smoked turkey club sandwiches and we have some coleslaw as well. Who has it better than we do? Nobody. 8773-DP-SHoVE Email address dpdanpatrick.com Twitter handle @dpshow Timberwolves roll the warriors. No surprise there. That series tied it. A game of peace tonight. Cabs, Pacers, Thunder and the Nuggets. We'll talk to longtime Knicks fan Spike Lee. He'll join us in about 20 minutes from now. Bob Costa stops by a little bit later on and Mark Messier will join us as well. Good morning. If you're watching on Peacock, thanks for downloading the app. You can watch the program. And we say good morning to our radio affiliates around the country as well. Make sure you go to danpatrick.com you'll click on the Spirits tab, a special offer there for you that. And at Mako, that's what they do. They bring your car back to life. Affordable paint jobs, light collision repairs. Get a free estimate today. Oh, better get Mako. All right, some of the point spreads for coming up tonight and tomorrow. Pacers are three point favorites against the Cavs. No, they're actually Cavs are three point favorites. Thunder five point favorites against the Nuggets, I believe. And let's see. The Celtics. Celtics are five point favorites against the Knicks. Timberwolves five point favorites at the warriors coming up tomorrow. So you have desperation mode for the Cavaliers and the Knicks and, and a lot of people think the Cavs maybe they get a little healthier. Now this series goes to Indiana and with the Celtics and the Knicks. The Knicks at home but the Celtics favored by five and watching last night. I'm not surprised that Minnesota won. I was kind of surprised at Steve Kerr's maybe philosophy strategy. I think he knew he wasn't going to win the game. I think he wanted to get everybody into the game and he almost did that in the first quarter. I think he had 11 players in the first quarter get some playing time. I think everybody played last night. I think he's kind of looking to see and I don't think Steph Curry is going to play. I, I, I think the odds are a lot longer than they're letting on. First it was one game. Now they're going to reassess in a week. And even Steph Curry doesn't sound like he's going to be playing basketball again. From all that I've or all that I'm learning about how quickly you can get back, there has to be a healing process. That's the way the body works. You can't accelerate it more than what it's telling you. So it'll be one of those after a week, like really re evaluating every day to kind of understand when it's safe just to even think about playing, let alone like how much can you push it. Starting to feel really, really good about where we were at. And then you kind of get a gut p like that. I'll do everything in my power to get back as soon as possible. Yeah, that doesn't sound promising. And I think Steve Kerr knows that. I think Steve Kerr is now going to be searching what kind of lineup can I put out there, get my guys a little playing time here because I'm going to have to count on a lot more people than I thought I would. I don't think Steph Curry is going to play. And if he does, I think he'll be very, very limited. You know that it was working with Jimmy Butler. They play really good defense. They played really good defense in that first game. Minnesota came out, they made a statement. Now you go back to Golden State and I thought if you can split in Golden State and then maybe it's two, two and Steph comes back, then you can win this series. But I think the odds are a lot longer than people are leading on trying to come back from a hamstring. And Steph has never had the injury before. At least if you've had an injury like that, you know a time frame, he doesn't. And this is going to be one of those dayto day, game to game. But I think Steph Curry's probably done playing basketball this year. And that's a shame because, man, Golden State's tough to watch if Steph's not playing. If. If I go see the Backstreet Boys, I'd like, you know, to have. Is Justin Timberlake. Backstreet Boys or is he in sync? In sync. In sync. Okay. So if I go in sync, I would hope that Justin Timberlake would be there. Who's the main guy in Backstreet Boys? Yes, all back streets. Oh, so they don't have a main guy. I gotta look. Todd, don't you know the Backstreet Boys? Brian Luttrell. Would that be Brian Latrell? Did you just pull that? AJ McClain? We love AJ. Okay. All right, so they don't have a main guy. But back to my original point. Brian Luttrell, perhaps. But if you. If you're going to go see NSync, you hope Justin Timberlake's going to be there. That it's tough to watch Golden State because you're really missing one of the more exciting, dynamic, fun players to watch. And I was just watching a bunch of guys out there trying to play basketball, and it wasn't exciting at all. You know, the game wasn't exciting either. But, you know, Golden State without Steph, you know, just talking about the entertainment portion of that, it's a little dry. The understudy is, you know, coming out there for Phantom of the Opera and you're going, that's not the same. Yes. Eden. Sometimes you go see Wu Tang Clan and Method man doesn't show up. You're like, ah, dude, this. There's gonna be way too much you God right now. And we need. We want a way more Method Man. This is not great. Not good. Yeah. Paulie. To put it in your vernacular, Dan, if you. If you go to see Hamilton on Broadway and Lin Manuel Miranda's not there, that's the Steph Curry. Curry, yeah. So he didn't play and won't be playing. There was also a moment where Draymond Green got another technical, got tangled up with Nas Reed, and of course, Draymond is really, really good at playing the victim. After he initiates something, creates something, and then he's the victim. So he got another technical. And here's Draymond Green after the game talking about being singled out. Look like the angry black man. I'm not an angry black man. I'm a very successful, educated black man with a great family. And I'm great at basketball. I'm great at what I do to keep the agenda. To try to keep making me look like an angry black man is crazy. I'm sick of it. It's ridiculous. Okay? You're embarrassing yourself. You created this, and now you're venting against the people who have employed you, gave you a podcast. You get to work on TNT when your season is over. You've. You've created an image here. You've gotten contract extensions. You. You can be great at your job. You can be a highly educated basketball player. This isn't about being an angry black man or. What is the NBA? 85% African American, and they're going to single you out? No, they single you out because you do stupid things when you play basketball, that's when you're great. I singled you out a couple of years ago against Boston. Stop doing stupid things. Play good basketball. And then he did, and they won a championship. And he really is taking the playbook of Dennis Rodman. How do I get attention For a guy who gets eight points, seven rebounds, and six assists and a few steals and plays really good defense on a team that has Durant or Steph and Clay, and he did it. Congratulations. You're going to have a post career in broadcasting. But don't. Don't do this. You know, you're not the victim here. You do stupid things. You've cost your team before, you'll probably cost your team again. But to single out yourself and say, this is all about you, I mean, look at the play. I mean, you can Google Draymond Green, and you're going to get 10 minutes of stupid plays, cheap shots that you've taken on people like, come on. Here's Steph. Here is Steve Kerr talking about Dream Hungry. Yeah, I could see, you know, he had gotten pretty upset, and I just didn't want him to. To, you know, get another technical. So I took him out at that point, and I know he's gonna have to be careful now. He's two texts away, five techs and two flagrants, and seven and four. So text. He'll be suspended. Or two more flagrants. Right? Yeah. So he's. He's gonna have to stay composed. Obviously, we need him. Yes. This year. Coach. Your coach is talking about you. This is Groundhog's Day. I mean, we. Every playoff, it feels like we go through this, but now he's the victim, and now there's an agenda against him because he's a black man. I'm sure Rasheed Wallace thought the same way, but Rasheed Wallace brought it on himself. But, you know, if you're a habitual, let's say you get speeding tickets all the time. And you live in a small town. The police are probably going to keep an eye on you because you normally go above the speed limit. Draymond goes above the speed limit. Not a question of if, but when. And the question is, how lenient are the officials going to be? But that's not why you lost. And nobody's single you singling you out. You want to be singled out. You want attention, and you got it. You've created an image here, a brand. But you can't run away from the brand you created. Yes, Marvin, he literally punched his own teammates, among other things that he's done. Choked out Rudy Gobert and all this stuff. And the thing is, the term angry black man. No, no, you're uncontrollable. You are black, but you're uncontrollable sometimes with your antics. And even Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, you can see them rolling their eyes like, we needed to win this game, and they need him. He's super important to their dynasty, especially in this series with no Steph Curry. And look, when he plays, he plays basketball with an extremely high iq. But then he dumbs himself down, which I don't understand. Rodman, to me, was one of the smartest basketball players I've ever seen. Like, he studied. He. He. He studied his opponent. He. He knew how to get in your head. But. But he didn't get to the point where he's throwing elbows or punching teammates. And he was just a unbelievable professional nuisance. And he created a brand. He created an image. He wanted to bait you into doing something stupid. Draymond does something stupid on his own. Naz Reed didn't bait him. Draymond created all of it. And that's the unfortunate part. You know, there's a lot of racism. There's a lot of people who are singled out. How about we use those moments for the real things that are important? Not. Draymond Green is an angry black man, and all of a sudden, he's being singled out. He just embarrasses himself. He really does. All right, let's pull question today. Seaton. Well, I'm not trying to blow up the whole show. Oh, but I might. Okay, whose career do you want? Spike Lee, Bob Costas, Mark Messier. Oh, man, I'm 13 minutes into a Friday show. You are? I was gonna mail this one in. Can't do that now. All right, well, Todd, I'll let you start. Whose career out of our three scheduled guests. I'm going to take Spike Lee because you can act, write, direct, produce. Not that they don't have the abilities to do that. Cost us in Messier. But that he's already done that. He's won a couple of Academy Awards and just to be able to do all those different things and you know, with celebrities and all that kind of stuff, that seems the coolest to me. How about you, Seaton? I might go Messier. Okay. He. I don't know, he's got, you know, he's one of the all time greats in a super cool sport. Tons of respect. I don't know. I think what he did is pretty special. And he wanted in New York, too. Yeah. In New York. Marvin, whose career. I'm a go. Spike. He did do the right thing. Paul, what about you? This, this is brutal. I think I'm going Mark Messier because he played, but I'm not even a hockey guy. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. This, this is tough. I mean, obviously being an actor, I can understand and relate to Spike Lee. Being an athlete, I can relate to Mark Messier. And being a broadcaster, I can relate to Bob Costa. So you're a Swiss army knife. Yes. Kind of lived all their careers. Yeah. I. Yes. Marvin, you should ask Spike how come you weren't in? He got game. Well, why do I want to bring that up? Why not? Well, because he was directing. You don't want to be Jesus Shuttlesworth. No, Spike can't be Jesus Shuttlesworth. I said you. Oh, me? Yeah. Oh, why wasn't I? No, no, no, no. I think that would be weird to have Denzel Washington as my dad and then I'm Ray Allen. No. Awkward timing wise. The timing. I don't know. Yeah. Yes. Denzel had you when he was one out of wedlock. Yes. Todd, I thought Marvin born a poor black child. Yes, I thought Marvin meant that too. Spike Lee as Jesus Shuttlesworth. That would be a tough sell. Yeah. Because Barkley said that Spike can't play basketball. Yes. Marvin, let's not play with Spike like that. No, no, look, I. He's. He's feeling good. The Knicks, you know, Saturday afternoon at the Garden. Maybe this will ease the pain of what happened with the American League Championship Series with the Yankees and the Red Sox in 04. Could this, could anything ease the pain? Ease his pain? All right, let me take a break. Spike Lee will join us coming up and we'll get to your phone calls. Settle on a poll question as well. Bob Costas, Mark Messier as well. We're back after this. Dan Patrick Show Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Thunder five point favorites at the Nuggets, the Celtics five point favorites against the Knicks tomorrow, and the Timberwolves five point favorites against Golden State. Long time Knicks fan, film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, author, two time Academy Award winner and got a new movie coming out later on this fall. We ask about that. Highest to lowest, starring Denzel Washington, Spike Lee back on the program. How's morale? How are we feeling going into tomorrow? Dan, first of all, good morning. How are you doing? Good, man, good. Good to see you. Well, the forecast is orange and blue skies at the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. You nervous? No. This is going to be divine intervention. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. With the Pope. Yeah. The Villanova alumni. Is this a bigger win for Villanova than or than when Villanova won that last NCAA championship? Well, all I can say is. Well, people, you know, people say we haven't won since the 7 to 73 season. And if it takes a miracle to break the snide, I was at the last Ron Shea stadium when that ball root rolled through Butler's leg. So I'll take anywhere you can get. Can anything ease the pain of what happened in 04 in the ALCS for you with the Yankees and the Red Sox. Oh, and with when they came off a hit of a great reliever. Yeah. What's the Dodgers manager. He stole second base, right? Dave Roberts. Yeah, Dave Roberts. I don't know, maybe that made up for Buckner. But I remember talking to you when the Yankees were up 3:1 and I was doing sportscenter, right? And you were along the first baseline seats there in the first baseline you go, who do you like? And I said I like the Red Sox. Oh, I don't want to hear that. Next game I see you, who do you like? I said I like the Red Sox. Oh, I don't want to hear that. Then you saw me the next time and you said, who do you like? I don't even want to hear it. You're going to tell me. The Red. So I said I like the Red Sox. Did you ever get over that? Only when people like you remind me. It's my job. No, those are memories. You, you wanna. Yeah. Flush, you know, you know, like the Reggie Miller. You know that, you know that you try, you try to. It comes up though, but it's not, it's not the top of the head. So when did you first learn to hate the Celtics is anything. I'm a New Yorker. That's, that's just. You learn that in kindergarten and also vice versa. You can ask that question Bostonians, you know we don't. It's, this is a great rivalry. Boston, New York, any sport. How was that? Oh you, the pages were undefeated going into the Super Bowl. The Manningham Daniel, you know, you know, you knew to answer that question. I did, I did. But I think Bostonians look at the Knicks and Nick fans and go, you guys haven't done anything. We've won championships. So maybe how many Yankees have? 27. Thank you. So what are you saying? Well no, I'm just talking about the Celtics, Knicks rivalry. Oh but it's Boston New York. It's Boston New York. Have you ever talked to Brady about those Super Bowls? Oh, here's a. Oh, I forgot who Subos was but his then wife was screaming, my husband can't throw the ball and catch the ball. But this past year, regular season game, Tom sat courtside so the Knicks gave him a football to sign and he would throw up into the stands. So he says, fight, come over here, I'm gonna throw you the ball first and you throw it back to me and I'll throw it up in the stance. I'm five, six and a half. Yeah, but you're the size of Edelman. No. Yeah, I'm small. So he must have thought he's throwing the grunk. That Ball sailed over my head. Oh, well before that, before he threw the ball, I did like this. Oh, he tapped your head near your helmet. No. David Tyree. Tyree. Yeah. No, but I like to say is Tom's a great guy. Great guy. Great guy. He's Spike Lee. The movie the highest to lowest starring Denzel Washington. That'll be. Do you have a. A release date that? Yes, August 22nd nationwide. But also we're going to the Cannes Film Festival May 19th. So I believe in how things supposed to be. May 19th, 1989 was the world premiere do the Right thing in Cannes. May 19th, 25th will be Malcolm X's 100th birthday. Denzel's on Broadway doing Othello. And the only date Broadway is dark is on a Monday. And this May 19th is a month is a Monday. So Denzel be able to come to Cannes. So we're very happy about that. When did you know it worked clicked with Denzel. The first film Mo Better Blues. So in order Mo Better Blues, Malcolm X He Got Game and Inside Man. And the funny thing is that Denzel and I both did not know inside man was 19 years ago. I mean time flies. I mean he. I didn't know. He didn't know. Yeah, but. But our relationship is really great. And it's. What's special is that we don't really hang out. We might see each other. When the Lakers in la, I sit with him. I sit his seats. When the Lakers into the garden, he comes and say Spike, let's go. So. But we see just like we saw each other yesterday. So that's the desert, you know, relationship. Who's the other players you considered for? He got game other than Ray Allen. Well, my brother Allen Iverson did not not did not want to audition. Rehearsal. Rehearsal. Oh, no. He didn't say no. I'm kidding. Okay. Hey. AI is love. Baby, you know I love you. I know I love you. There were. Here's the thing for Higg I gained. I was like a talent scout because Jesus shut us off. Is the senior Abraham Lincoln High School in Coney Island. So I had to look at the people, look at the players who are going to be in the draft. Also look at the players in the league already, but still look like they could play. They were in high school. So I made the list and I had auditions. And the thing is that I needed someone who's going to dedicate the whole summer now. You know those athletes when it's all season, they gotta take a break. Whatever. But Ray said I'LL do it. So Ray did not. We didn't finish the film until the day before he had to report to camp for George Carr. He's on Milwaukee Bucks then. So he dedicated himself for the role. And Gary always asked me, are we gonna have a he game too? We're gonna have a shi game, but I don't think so. I mean, the film is what it is. And my eyes. So far, I've not done any sequels. Yeah, we fall in love with sequels. And I don't know if Hollywood does as well, because, hey, if it was successful, then, you know, best ever, Godfather 2. Okay, yeah, unchallenged Godfather 2. What's the second best sequel? I'm stumped right there. I'm stumped. But Francis, he owes. He owes a crown for that. Shout out to Francis. Did you consider Stephon Marbury for He Got Game? Well, there's a big controversy, and me and Steph were cool. You know, that stuff has been squashed. I see more games all the time at the Garden, but somehow people were thinking that this T guy game was about Stefan, and that's not really the case. The reason why I chose Abraham Lincoln High School, because for years they had the best basketball team, public school. And also, even though I didn't grow up in Coney island, my highest. I went to was John Dew was in Coney Island. So that's. That's really, you know, what it was. I did not want. It was not autobiographical. I made up this character Jesus chose Worth, who his father has been locked up for accidentally killing his. His mother. We had Barkley on recently, and I asked him what kind of game you had. He said, spike can't play. Well, first of all, I can't play. He's never seen me play basketball. So he's just. I mean, now back in the day, softball, I go to first to third on a hit. I was. I was. I was. I was the fastest kid in my block. So you were Vince Coleman going from first to third. Jackie Robinson. Oh, Jackie Robinson. You know, there are no great softball movies. So maybe. Maybe you come out with a softball movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, hey, you're gonna get exhibit credit. Okay, so you do. Have. You had some basketball game? I mean, I didn't play in a team in. In New York City. The pennant with softball. Stoop ball, two hand touch. I mean, it's just playing in the street, you know? Did you ever play against Prince? No. Okay. No, but I heard I. I taught. People say he could ball. He could. I mean, he could Play. And also he was a great. He knew the game too. Yeah. One of my best moments, the NBA sat Prince and I together at the NBA All Star game when it was in New York. And we. There's a famous people look online and he has his cane and it was. We were just talking basketball and having a great time. And I miss him. I miss him very much. I was at the NBA finals in Chicago. Loose ball. Rodman goes forward, out of bounds. Prince is there with his bodyguard. Rodman. Rodman, you know, gets the ball and he walks over to Prince and he said, hey, we should go out after the game. Well, Prince doesn't acknowledge him. You have to go through the bodyguard to then talks to Prince. So Rodman's like talking to him, and Prince didn't say anything. And then the bodyguard says, you got it. You got to go through me. And then Rodman waved him off and then walked back on the floor. Well, I think that was a good decision. This movie with Denzel, highest to lowest. Yeah. So asap, Rocky's in here. Yeah. He. He could. Gives a magnificent performance. And this film is not a remake. It's a reinterpretation of the film High and Low by the great Japanese filmmaker director Akira Kurosawa. So. And that was back in the 60s, mid-60s. 19. 1960. Okay. The great Tisha Mafune, who did many, many films with Kurosawa, is a. He's executive at a shoe factory. And in this film, Denzel Washington is a music mogul who's noted as having the best ears in the business. We shot this in the. In the streets of the great scene in the world. Weather York for those speak Spanish. You know what I'm talking about? Weather York and my fifth film with Denzel. And it's a blessing and. But not nervous pairing somebody like Denzel with asap. No, I. ASAP has done. He's not. This is not his first film. And he'll. He auditioned and. And Dan, I'll just tell you he's from Harlem. So you're not afraid. Not afraid. He's from Harlem Uptown. I know you were just on Carmelo Anthony's podcast and they're talking about retiring his jersey. What about Bernard King? Oh, the Knicks mean. Right. Yeah. Here's the thing. Bernard is one of the greats. Bernard grew up in my neighborhood, Fort Greene. There's a hospital in Fort Greene called Cumberland Hospital. Bernard was born there. Albert King, Mike Tyson and Michael Jordan, they're all born in the hospital. My neighborhood, Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Wow. Yeah. Bernard, I Mean, those years, I mean, this is. I wish they had better. I wish medicine was further along so they would not. The operation he had, his knees would have made him come back, and he really wasn't physically the same. We came back for the. But I don't know why the New York Knickerbockers have not retired. Bernard Kings jersey should be hanging from the rafter of the world's most famous arena. He was a bucket square gone. He was a bucket man. He was a bucket every time. Fort Hamilton High School. Yeah. Yeah. How would you celebrate if the Knicks win a title? What would it. What would a title mean to you? Well, May 8, 1970, I was at game seven, the Willis Reed game. I was 13 years old, and I. I just need one before I leave this earth. And I'm telling you, when I read the Pope's biography, he said he's alumni vanilla of Villanova. I said, oh, my. It's a pun. Oh, my God, og. But listen, this, though, let's think a little ahead of time. It could be a Minnesota Nick final. Got my boy Dante Villanova guy. So this might be the year you going to church on Saturday. Well, I'm not Catholic, but I might go a Baptist church. Might go to Abyssinian Church in Carlo and get on my knees. Oh, Lord Jesus, give us. But here's the thing, though. You know, when the Mets won the World Series in 1969, I ran. I ran on the field in game five, like 20,000 other crazy kids, you know, game back then, those were day games we split in Baltimore. And my range, three and four, Shea Stadium, Queens. And my mother said, you're going to school. My father said, no, he ain't. He's going to chase Dayton. But the Mets gotta win what they call the Miracle Mets. Yeah. So miracles have happened in sports, hockey with the, you know, the miracle on ice. Yeah. So it has happened and we are long overdue. Good luck on Saturday. All right. Good to talk to you. Thank you very much. Thank you, man. All right, take care. All right, that's Spike Lee and his movie coming out in August. Highest to lowest with Denzel Washington asap. Rocky is also in it as well. We'll take a break. Got our play of the day up next. Remember Fritzi, like the great Frank Caledendo says, don't try Dan Paulie's rocking a bit of a sinister slash mysterious vibe with his iPads today. For those who are listening on radio, I really like it. And Dan, you channeled your any your inner Biggie Smalls earlier this week and I loved it when you said it that you were going to be serving champagne for your campaign on the party bus. And they got my inner sommelier curious and I just wanted to know exactly what champagne you're serving because in my mind there's only one champagne that's very show appropriate that you should be serving and that is DP Dom Perignon. Oh, oh, oh. I don't know if I feel that confident about winning a sports Emmy, but thank you, Buddha. A lesser investment. Yeah, yeah. Is there. How about some cider? Right. Some moderately priced. Yeah. So I'm thinking about bringing champagne on the party bus when we go next Tuesday to the sports Emmys. Is it next Tuesday? Next it's Tuesday. A week from Tuesday. A week from Tuesday 20th, that'll be Tuesday. The one after that'll be weird if we go this Tuesday, go down there and nobody's there on the party bus. Jake in Houston. Good morning, Jake. What's on your mind? Hey, good morning and thanks for taking my call. Yep. Six six one two forty. Great. Thank you. Hey, I have a quick two part question, if you don't mind. I actually called in earlier this week regarding Draymond Green being deserving of the hall of fam. Yeah. And you gave me a very good answer telling me why he deserves to be in and all that good stuff. I just wonder if last night's antics in his history of the antics that he's had in his career have the voters possibly changing their minds, asking themselves is production enough to outweigh the risk? And then a quick question. Andre Iguodala, do you think he's a hall of famer, four time champ, MVP of the finals and great defensive player? Thanks. Take my call, Dan. I think he's in the hall of Very good. I don't think that he's. I don't think he's a Hall of Famer, and I don't think anything that Draymond is going to do now is going to diminish what he did, you know, his entire career. He's a Hall of Famer. It just, you know, these are asterisks there with him. But. But he wanted to draw attention. Guys who don't score a lot or, you know, they're. They're not able to be flamboyant. You know, what Draymond does is not. There's nothing flamboyant about it. You know, when Steph and Claire getting all the attention, when Kevin Durant's getting all the attention. Draymond wanted attention. How do you get attention? I'm going to be that pest, that nuisance. I'm going to be the guy who tangles up with you. I'm going to be the guy who gives you a cheap shot. Now, he does play great defense. He's been the best passer on the team since he's been there, but he created a brand. But you can't all of a sudden say, wait a minute here, you know, you're coming after me. No, you've. You've. There's a pattern here. You created all of this. Yes. Marvin Draymond's got a real Bill Lambert, like, quality to him. People. Don't. People forget how good of a player Bill Lambert was because of all of the antics. And I think Paulie brought it up maybe earlier this week about him going to the hall of Fame. If Bill Lambert was a part of three or four Pistons championships, he'd be in the hall of Fame. If Draymond was on the warriors that only won two championships, he'd be in the same category as Bill and Bear, like the hall of. Very good. Yeah, I think that's fair. I think Bill Lane Beer was known for the fight skirmishes being a nuisance, and it took away from him being a really good player. And had they won maybe one more title, certainly two, then he would probably go in because we would. We would reward the team, and that's what Draymond is being rewarded. If he played in Charlotte, he's not a Hall of Famer now, would he average more? Yes, his numbers would be better, but he would not be a Hall of Famer. We reward you when you win championships. Yes, Mark. And watching some of those Pistons games on, like, NBA tv, Bill Lambert underrated early stretch four, stretch five guy. I didn't realize he could shoot like that until I started watching full games and he wasn't a great college player, but he got to, I think he started out with Cleveland and I don't think anybody thought much of it. And then all of a sudden he found his way and he was a good shooter. He could, he could hit an 18, 20 footer and he would fight anybody or he would, he would force you to fight him, whether it was Bird or Barkley. I mean, he's taken on the big names. He. But he loved it. He loved it. All right, one hour in the books. Two more to go. Bob Costas will join us. Coming up next hour, Mark Messier in the final hour of the program. Cabs at the Pacers. And the Cabs are favored. Thunder at the Nuggets, the Thunder are favored. We'll come back. We'll clean up the poll question from hour one. We'll get another poll question for hour two. Pirates have fired their manager, Derek Shelton. Why? Might be the first time and last time you've heard of a name as the Pirates manager. Talk about that coming up. One hour in the books. Two more to go. On this meet Friday, it's Fritzi Seaton, Marv, Paulie, and yours truly. Time is precious and so are our pets. So time with our pets is extra precious. That's why we started Dutch.
