Show on Fox Sports Radio. It is the Dan Patrick show here on FOX Sports Radio. No Brady Quinn, but it is lavar Arrington and Jonas Knox with you here. You can normally hear us before the Dan Patrick show from 3 to 6am Pacific Time, 6 to 9 Eastern Time on two pros and a cup of Joe. But it'll be sticks and I taking you all the way up until noon Eastern Time, 9 o' clock Pacific here and we are brought to you by Tirerack.com for over 40 years, Tire Rack has been helping customers find the right tires for how, what and where they drive. Shipped fast and free, backed by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation. Tirerack.com the way tire buying should be. It's a Memorial Day out there. Hope people acknowledge what it's actually about. The barbecues, all that stuff is fun, but what it's actually about and what those lost souls meant to our country and all that. Hope we take time to to appreciate that we are going to take time to first acknowledge that apparently the New York Knicks are not ready to just lay down and give up here. Lavar Arrington, they're not ready. They have now made this a series for now and they come back, pull off a comeback win of their own. Allah. What the Indiana Pacers did to them in game one and game two and the Knicks get it done on the road in Indiana somehow, some way and bring the series to 21 in the Eastern Conference finals.
Jonas Knox
Being the son of a vet that almost lost his life in Vietnam, always to make sure I take my time, especially being on on air on Memorial Day, to make sure I do honor and remember our brave men and women who paid the ultimate price and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. So I just want to say I'm so appreciative and I'm so happy and proud to be the son of a military vet. Proud to be a part of generations of military service members who have taken pride in representing our country and fighting for our freedom. So I would be remiss if I didn't say that quickly thank you to all the memories of those who live in our hearts and our minds that gave us the right and the opportunity to have these freedoms just to talk on the radio and to talk sports. So thank you to all of you. Enjoy your day. But just remember to remember those that not only are, are gone and have given their lives for our country, but those who are still here because they, well, they need our attention and they need our love more than anyone. So make sure you hug a vet today, make sure you show them some love and yeah, enjoy your Memorial Day. And it was not a Memorial Day for the New York Knicks. So to get to your point, you finally saw a team that had to I guess feel the pressure of the series coming to a unceremonious end. It did not look like it was going to be a good series. It looked to be the same Yesterday's game as the Indiana Pacers took took the lead and was up quite a few. I believe it was a 20 point deficit that the New York Knicks erased. I'll say this, Indiana did it to them. You know, New York was up. New York had the opportunity to win the game and they choked on it. And now you saw the Indiana Pacers proverbial choking take place in yesterday's game. They had a game, this was an opportunity being up by the amount were in by to basically put maybe put the stamp on it, you know, put put the toe, toe tag on, on the Knicks. The Knicks fought back. Carl Anthony Towns look like two different people in the game. Jonas first half it was like come on, what are you doing? Probably need to bench him, probably need to just leave him there and just see what's going to happen. And then in the second half cat fueled them and and it only goes to serve the purpose of what the conversations have been since they made the trades of, of you know what, Randall going to Minnesota and Towns coming to the Knicks is that Carl Anthony Towns has to play like an all star if this team is to have a chance to win this series and to have it remotely any chance of not being a sacrificial lamb in the next, in the next series.
Ryan
So Carl Anthony Towns, as you mentioned, he had the monster fourth quarter which fueled the comeback for the Knicks. And he spoke afterwards about what went into his Performance, I saw opportunity to.
Jonas Knox
Utilize all those hours I put into the gym and game wasn't looking great for me as well, but for all of us. And I just wanted to do whatever it takes to help put us in a position to win. And like I said, it's just. It's a testament to my teammates, you know, having trusted me and giving me, you know, putting me in spots for where I could succeed and utilize my talent. So.
Dan Patrick
It'S just testing, you know, shout.
Jonas Knox
Out to the guys in the locker room, you know, this is a great team win, but we got it. We know we gotta be better than we were tonight if we expect to find a way to get another one.
Ryan
Yeah. I mean, so he has to put.
Jonas Knox
Himself in better situations to have better games earlier.
Ryan
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
I don't know how you feel about it, but he has to do that.
Ryan
It's. I mean, this is a wonderful moment for the Knicks and for that fan base, but it's over. This is great. And now it makes sense why they celebrated the way that they did after they beat Boston.
Jonas Knox
I feel the setup because.
Ryan
Because they knew that it was over. And this is a fun story. And it's great that we're going to get TNT with another game. We're going to get another opportunity to see the NBA on TNT again, which we've grown with over the past couple of decades. But you watched the game last night, and I don't know if anybody else sees this the way I see it, but I look at the game and I go, Indiana is by far and away the better team. They're deeper. Even though Tibbs, you know, adjusted his lineup, adjusted his rotation, he put in Mitchell Robinson, he took out Josh Hart. All of that being said, I find it hard to believe that Indiana comes out and goes cold in the second half like they did last night at home. I just don't see it happening. This is going to play out the way it played out against Cleveland for Indiana. They lost game three at home. They came back in game four. They annihilated the Cavs, and it was over. So this is a fun story. It's fun. The Knicks fans finally got to see their team win an Eastern Conference championship game. But that's a wrap, folks. This is done. It's over. And I just. You just watch the game and, and not the, you know, the, the. The parts where Indiana is struggling to find a shot, like, even their, like, shot selection offensively, it just looked weird. It. It didn't look like what they were normally doing. And I don't know if it's because they got comfortable. I don't know what it was.
Jonas Knox
They still went up 20.
Ryan
Yeah, I just.
Jonas Knox
So what you're saying is true. That's so damning because they still, in a game where you felt like they didn't do as well as they should have done, they still went up by 20.
Ryan
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
It's the fact that they gave, I guess to your point, it's the fact that they gave a 20 point lead away.
Ryan
They just kind of didn't it look like in the, in the second half they were just kind of lackadaisical possessions. They were just whatever, but just almost like playing with their food, like, well, yeah. No. What? And then all of a sudden they're down 2 and it's late and it's like, no, now you need a shot from Siakam to try and tie the game. And now they're in a battle. I just, I think they respond and I think they hammer the knicks in Game 4.
Jonas Knox
It's possible it could play out that way, but it is also the idea of that's exactly how the Knicks. You could probably say the Knicks lost their first game. I would say the second game was the one game where I'd say Indiana won that game. But the first game, that was the Knicks game. They let that thing get away. And it is what it is. It happened the way that it happened. And they have to live with it the same way Indiana Pacers have to live with the way they let yesterday's game get away to close to being up 3 0. And we all know being up 30 in a series is almost like a death sentence to the series. Now you get that one victory and you overcome crazy circumstances, crazy odds to get to that victory. This is now a gut check for both teams because the New York Knicks, they got to do it one more time in Indiana, just like Indiana had to do it in New York. If they're able to pull this series even in the next game, if they're able to pull this game even in Indy, this is a series. And I don't know it's. And I don't know that it's a series that Indiana can pull out if they hit a tailspin where the Knicks get to take it back home with a 22 tie. Now, I do believe it'll go to seven games. But with that being said, it now turns into not a cruise control series for the Indiana Pacers with everybody talking about how good this roster is and they're the eastern version of The OKC Thunder. And this is going to be a great matchup in the, in the NBA Finals even though nobody's going to watch it because it's not great markets, I guess that, that want to watch the game. It's not the big markets, it's not the Boston Celtics versus the Lakers or anything like that. But with that said, I don't know that Indiana can get out of this series alive if they do not put this game, this, this game five away or game four, excuse me, I do not know that if they don't win game four that they can get out of this series. Now it ties even and it's anybody series and I get that. But I think the emotional mental kind of impact that that would have on a team, they're going to have to find a way to suck it up and they're going to have to find a way to get out of the series even though they are the better team on paper. Jonas. But I'll say this. Carl Anthony Town said his teammates got him in position to take advantage. I'll say this. If he decides that he wants to be the player he's supposed to be and not chuck up all them three pointers and stay on on the outside and on the perimeter and play that soft ass style of basketball at times that he's been known to play and he puts his head down and he plays like a big man that can shoot from the outside but can score on the inside and make things uncomfortable. Almost like a Jokic, like, like a different version, but I'm just saying same type of skill set. You could shoot from anywhere on the court but you have the size and the ability to be able to do it on the inside. If Carl Anthony Towns takes away from that game that he can do that in any of these games, the Pacers are in trouble and the team they play, they face after. The Pacers, if they were to win, the series would be in trouble too. But that has to be a, a big if that comes to fruition with Carl Anthony Towns being the catalyst, obviously Brunson is going to be the facilitator and you got to have the different guys that, that, you know, Bridges could have had a better game. You know, Anobe had a good game, he could play better. There are guys that could play better. Mitchell Robinson could play better, guys that could have played better in yesterday's game for the Knicks as well. So this could turn into a serious matchup.
Ryan
Your point is spot on about if Carl Anthony Towns just stays in the post or back. He can get a basket at the rim anytime he wants. And they were talking about it post game. And that's sort of Shaq's frustration with him and a lot of people's frustration with him that was, you know, last year. It was Anthony Edwards frustration with him when he spoke about it afterwards after games for the Timberwolves last year. He can score in the post whenever he wants. He can get a basket there whenever he wants. Now, that being said, in watching Carl Anthony Towns over the past couple of years in the playoffs, what do you think is more likely to happen this next game since he was dominant down low against Indiana, that he does it again or that he starts chucking up threes again? Because I'll take the ladder, he's going to start question threes again. That's what he does.
Jonas Knox
But, but if he sees it on film, like Carl Anthony Towns is a very cerebral guy, right? Super intelligent dude. And I, you know, if you, you see what you're capable of doing on, on film, and I know they're going to get the opportunity to watch this game on film and go over it and study it and, and that coach and, and his teammates have to sit there and they got to be like, cat, we know you love shooting that three ball, bro. We know you love that long game pause. But you got to take it on inside my guy. Hammers Willie. You gotta take it on inside my guy. Hey, Cat, you gotta be the big cat and you got to take it on inside. And I think, I think he's going to come out and I think he's going to, he's going to try to push that thing inside and be, be a little more. He's just not, he's not a Shaq. I can understand Shaq's frustration because you have, you have more skill shooting the ball than Shaq does. I mean, you're not as dominant and as dog as, as Shaq is in playing on the inside, but you have the size and you have the ability to be able to do some of the things that Shaq did down low in that post. Especially in an outside game NBA where you're looking at an Indian Pacers team that plays very, very good perimeter defense. Take it down low, Cat. Do what you need to do. And you might have the opportunities to shoot those threes. But I think him shooting all of them threes was the reason why they got down so bad. Like he just chucking it up like, bro, at least give us that, that, that grimy, gritty dog type of of approach to the game early on in the game. Let's establish that we can early on in the game because like you said, both teams didn't seem to be hitting shots. It was poor shooting. And if you're having poor shooting, you should be putting points on the board the old fashioned way, which is get as close to the rim as you possibly can. And if, if Carl Anthony Towns, to answer your question, if he is willing to take on that weight, which why wouldn't you be? Why wouldn't you be willing to take on that weight? If he's willing to take on that weight and really assert himself and apply himself in a big man's type of form, not in the outside, shooting three pointers all game and never going down low seven footer. No. If he applies himself and asserts himself, this could get bad for Indiana. Will he do it? I'm gonna say I'm, I'm, I'm 50, 50 on the, on the fence.
Ryan
No, you're not.
Jonas Knox
He's going to try to shoot outside.
Ryan
Yes, he is.
Jonas Knox
He's going to, he's going, he's going to shoot outside first before he decides. He's going to have to see if he's missing first before he decides he wants that smoke down low. I agree with you.
Ryan

Dan Patrick show here fox Sports Radio. LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox in for DP and the guys coming up here in a little over 20 minutes from now, there's a team in the NFL who's got a plan just in case. They got a plan just in case. They won't need to execute this plan, but they do have one. We'll get into that for you again a little over 20 minutes from now here on Fox Sports Radio. Speaking of somebody who's got a plan, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their plan to have a starting quarterback this upcoming season. Most would assume, or at least hope that it would be Aaron Rodgers who would be that starting quarterback. And Aaron Rodgers did maybe give a little bit of a hint this is a clip that was recorded and made the rounds over the weekend via social media that Aaron Rodgers, while at an event in Austin with rapper Mike Stud, no relation to Big John Stud, the.
Jonas Knox
Former WWE was going to ask that.
Ryan
Yeah. Aaron Rodgers at an event with Mike Stud was asked about would he ever consider playing quarterback for the Bears. And he had this to say, will.
Jonas Knox
Aaron Rodgers ever go to the Bears? Oh, boy.
Ryan
Security.
Dan Patrick
Go get her out of here.
Jonas Knox
You need some security. Security guy, take it easy on her. No, but I believe there's a team that might play in Chicago this year.
Dan Flores
Road trip.
Ryan
I don't know. I'm not sure.
Dan Flores
Gotta check it out.
Clayton English
Are you speaking in code?
Jonas Knox
I love Chicago though, way more than they love me. It's been a great relationship all one way.
Ryan
So that was Aaron Rodgers throwing some shade.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, backhand compliment.
Ryan
Now the Steelers do play the bears in week 12 and so some have speculated. All right, so is he talking about the Steelers? Other people also thought, you know what he ever. Or. Or the Saints as well too. Oh, the Saints need a quarterback.
Jonas Knox
Rogers soda plays in there.
Ryan
Rogers was asked about about the Saints likelihood and said, well, yeah, I don't see that ever happening because I don't, you know, I'm too old. I don't want to live in Louisiana. Which means that him and Derek Carr also have something in common because Derek Carr doesn't want to play for the Saints either.
Jonas Knox
So I guess get that in there, huh?
Ryan
You know, why not?
Jonas Knox
Well done, sir.
Ryan
Yeah, I got him. But this is such a done deal. I mean, and we've talked about, we've talked about it on, on the show with Brady and you know, he's got sources. Like I know this for a fact. Rogers is working out, getting ready to return like he's working out out here in Southern California for a fact. I know this. He's getting ready to return. He's not just going to be working out. If he's going to go travel to Egypt again and you know, dig for Camel remains like, I just. This appears to be a done deal. It's week 12. The Steelers are going to be playing the Bears. I think the NFL also knew that Rogers was going to be a member of the Steelers. That's why they opened up the season with the Jets. They can sell us on. Well, Justin Fields revenge game. Justin Fields is a Steelers quarterback for like five. Like this feels like it's a foregone conclusion and now we just await to see when he makes his announcement here in the next couple of weeks.
Jonas Knox
Most likely Again, I think looking at Aaron Rodgers, he drives the needle on fan engagement and fan interest, and that makes this an interesting storyline for any possible team. Like I said, I kept joking around saying Minnesota, Minnesota, but you just never know. You just never know if Aaron Rodgers may go left when you thought he was going to go right. You may have thought he was going to get. What, what's the shot we, we were taking when we, we got covet. Well, what was the shot everybody had to take? A what shot?
Ryan
Oh, the, the vax.
Jonas Knox
The vaccination. Yeah, but he went left and got a what?
Ryan
He got immunized.
Jonas Knox
He got immunized. Right. So when you think Aaron Rodgers is going one way, he may go somewhere else. To me, that's the bigger story with Aaron Rodgers. The bigger story as it applies to Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers are the Steelers. It's the Steelers. What, what type of pressure are you applying by saying you're holding out and you're waiting for Aaron Rodgers to join your team? Again, I say this, and I say this with the utmost respect of his career, Aaron Rodgers, to me, whether you want to look at the injury or whether you want to look at the way that the jets played last year, mind you, someone will debate, you might even debate me, that his stat line was, was solid and it was good. So you can't blame it on Aaron Rodgers per se, that the New York jets was some trash last year, but they were, they were not good last year. And by all, given all, all intensive purposes, this is one of the most talented rosters that you had in all of the NFL. And they couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag last year. So the bigger story now becomes, because we're looking at a team in the Pittsburgh Steelers that wins, they, they don't lose. They haven't had a losing season since Mike Tomlin has taken over as the head coach. But I think the just winning aspect of this, as we've mentioned plenty of times on our show that you could check out right before this show when we're on our regular time slot from 3 to 6 or 6 to 9, where you're at depends on if you're on the east coast or the West Coast.
Ryan
Two pros.
Jonas Knox
Two pros and a cup of Joe. Listen, all I can say is, is that now it seems as though the we had a winning season and not a losing record of a season has run thin. And that's not, at this point, Jonas, good enough for there not to be a, a whispering, a talking about a Debating about has it come to a point where Pittsburgh has to take a very hard look at what they have going on moving into the future, and that could include coaches as well. And so if you find yourself at a point of where this is one of those. This is a very critical season in a lot of ways, if you ask me. For the Pittsburgh Steelers and for Mike Tomlin, it's because you're looking at a team that if you're, if we're being honest, they haven't had a quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger. They tried with Kenny Pickett. They really found themselves in a conundrum last season with, with Russ and the kid that's in, in New York now, Justin Fields, they found themselves not really having a quarterback for this team. And both of those, those quarterbacks are gone. Now imagine that both your starting and backup quarterback, backup and starting quarterback at one point in time on this team last year are both gone after one season.
Ryan
And they, cho, they chose a what if over Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. That's how, that's how. That's how confident they were in their.
Jonas Knox
They did take Will Howard in the draft. And that's intriguing to me because in the midst of all of this, this, these storms that seemingly are, are over the Pittsburgh Steelers right now, for now. And I do not believe that Aaron Rodgers, this is just my, my opinion. I do not believe Aaron Rodgers writes the ship in Pittsburgh. I do not believe he is the determining factor in Pittsburgh. Sorry. I just don't see him at this point in his career being that type of guy where he integrates, implements and executes at such a high level that this Pittsburgh Steelers offense goes from being anemic to, to being super, super fed. I don't, I don't see that happening. But what could be very interesting is you bring in an Aaron Rodgers, you have to struggle and suffer to a winning season, but not be a Super bowl competing team. Right. Super bowl competitive. But Will Howard is learning. Will Howard is getting the education from watching and being in the meeting room with Aaron Rodgers. Will Howard, if, if you're not up on him, is, is a fine quarterback that came out of Ohio State. I had to watch him wheel and deal with against Penn State last year. He's a national champion. A lot of people have had different opinions about him, but I'm telling you, the kid can play some ball. And to sit there in Pittsburgh style, to get lost for a year or two in the system and then you bring them out, you march them out and it's like Man, Will Howard. Will Howard is balling this, that and other. If that's the plan, it'll be interesting to see if Will Howard can actually develop and end up step. He might end up having to step into a starting role this year. We don't know if Aaron Rodgers is going to be able to make it through an entire season. We don't know if Mason Rudolph is going to be the guy they want to go with as the backup guy if Aaron Rodgers indeed comes in. There's a lot of unknowns. There's a lot of unknowns created with Aaron Rodgers coming in, but I gotta say, there are a lot of unknowns at the quarterback's position even before Aaron Rodgers signs the deal to go to Pittsburgh.
Ryan
So I was thinking about this because Albert Breer made the point few weeks back where Roger's time in New York gave him a better appreciation for what the situation was like in Green Bay. And he, I think he realized while at the circus watching, you know, Woody Johnson roll around on a unicycle and, you know, fire people and blame people for stuff and then deny that his kids, you know, used Madden ratings to, to evaluate players and all the other crap that went on there over that, over the course of that time. I, I look at it and I go, it's almost as if the Steelers are the afc. I don't want to say equivalent, but close to the AFC version of the Packers. And you know this from growing up in Pittsburgh. It's, it's a family business. Like, it's, it's a mom and pop shop. But they hold themselves to a high level. They've had as much success as you could possibly have in the NFL. They've had three. It's stability, it's all that stuff. And I wonder if Rogers views this and says, because make no mistake, even if Rogers announces in the next couple of weeks he signs with the Steelers, they're still at best the third best team in that division. At best. Because you've got to deal with Joe Burrow in Cincinnati and you got to deal with Lamar Jackson and Baltimore still. But I wonder if Rogers, at best.
Jonas Knox
They'Re the number two team in the division.
Ryan
I don't think they're at best. I mean, I, they're, they're, they should be thankful that Cleveland is in the same division because at least they can go.
Jonas Knox
Well, at least we're not Bengals. The Bengals can bongle things at times, and that's the only problem. But you can't trust an Ohio team in the pros. To do what they need to do always at all times. Again, if we were, if we were having the same conversation last year, which we probably were, we would have said the same exact thing. And look at what the Bengals did. They stank out the gate. Yeah, they stank for a while and.
Ryan
Lost some games they should have won.
Jonas Knox
Which, so they, they, they give you the, the, they give you the feeling that they should be this elite team with elite expectations made it to the super bowl not too long ago. Like they give you elite, but they haven't, I don't think that they have yet transitioned into elite to where we're comfortable saying mean. It's just, that's a foregone conclusion. And which is strange because while I look at the Baltimore Ravens and I say the Ravens are always seemingly trending up, they find a way to stockpile their team, they continue to get better and better every year and can't make it to the Super Bowl. While I'm not fully sold on, on what the Cincinnati Bengals may represent, what they may do and they made it to the super bowl and they have been literally the only team that can, can stand up to the, the Kansas City Chiefs and win. Yeah, you know, so I, I don't, it's hard to say. I, I, I don't disagree with you saying that the Steelers are at best a third team in the, in the AFC north, but there's a possibility, depending on what type of year the, the Bengals decide to have, that at best the Steelers could be the number two team in the conference.
Ryan
And I just wonder division, I wonder if Rogers look and says man, I understand this super bowl is probably a long shot, but maybe he's like, I just want to play football in a similar environment to what I did for all those years in Green Bay. And if I'm going to go out, I want to go out playing decent football with a stable organization and just have a little bit of fun one last time in my career. And I honestly believe that that's where his mindset is at because I don't think he wanted to walk away from the NFL having the last taste in his mout the Jets. I just don't, I, I, I don't. And so I, I think it's eventually going to get done next couple of weeks. That's been the speculation. He doesn't want to, you know, catch heat if he misses, you know, minicamp again or OTAs and misses any off season stuff. So maybe in the next couple of weeks he'll make the announcement. But I. I would expect. I would. I would actually be.
Jonas Knox
Does that excite you, what you're saying? At best, with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback, they're the third best team?
Ryan
Yeah, I would say third.
Jonas Knox
Even with Aaron Rodgers.
Ryan
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Oh, okay.
Ryan
Yeah. I just. But I want to see him come back for another year. I want to see him in a different situation than the jets. And it'd be kind of fun to see Rogers, you know, playing for this. It makes them more entertaining and it makes them more watchable for me. No offense to Will Howard or Mason Rudolph, but if you can have one last opportunity to watch a guy, a future hall of Famer, go out the way that he wants to go out in Pittsburgh, why not? They could be fun, but, yeah, I don't see them winning.
Jonas Knox
They got a new backfield this year. They have a new receiving core this year. There. There have been changes made to this offense to. To see what they can. Can do this year. I don't feel as though they've done anything that really moves the needle for. For me, like bringing in DK Metcalf. Okay. I thought that made perfectly good sense. If you're keeping Pickens and you have that tandem. I know they. Brian and they got Robert Woods. I get that. I love Pat Fryer move that tight end. I felt like Pickens, Metcalf, Friarmouth at. At. Out there on the field with Aaron Rodgers makes this formidable. It. It does. It has the makings of that. Does it. Does it have that with Robert woods and D.K. metcalf and Pat Friarmouth? Maybe Calvin Austin is. Is a name to. To look at is as well. I just don't know, Jonas. I don't know that it moves the needle in the direction where you can sit here and honestly feel confident and positive about the prognosis of what the Pittsburgh Steelers season is going to be in a different. In a different division. Sure, sure. In a different conference, sure. But in the AFC north, that's a hard. That's a. That's a hard one to. To justify and it'll be interesting to see once Aaron Rodgers decides that this is the time and the Steelers decide this is the time now for him to come join the team. And all of the fanfare and all of the hype that's going to surround it, if you have a bus like what took place in New York with Aaron Rodgers, how is that going to be handled? Yeah, I mean, that's a ton of pressure, man.
Ryan
Yeah. And then next thing you know, the Steelers are. You know, they could probably use a little more tlc just like most cars on the road and at Mako, we bring your car back to life with affordable paint jobs and light collision repairs. Bring you in case you missed it.
Ryan
And for that we turn it over to our executive producer, Lee D D D D Dalap Good morning, everybody.
Clayton English
Good morning, Jonas. Good morning, Lavaro. Guys, in case you missed this, we just talked about it. Aaron Rodgers likely going to be signing with the Steelers any day now. Maybe have to wait. But it is reported that the Steelers do have a backup plan and are keeping one and only Kirk Cousins on the radar, obviously still under contract with Atlanta. And if they were to make a trade, Atlanta would probably have to eat or retain a part of that 37.5 million dollar guarantee he has going on this this year.
Ryan
By the way, what does this say about Russell Wilson that this is the Steelers plan?
Jonas Knox
What does that say about the New York Giants?
Ryan
Damn. Yeah, it's, it really is like everything's sort of connected in this weird way. Justin Fields and Aaron Rodgers are basically going to swap teams. It's just the whole thing is bizarre. But hey, what else we got, Lee?
Clayton English
Guys, in case you missed this over the weekend, Travis Hunter in Athens, Tennessee married his longtime fiance, Liana. And if you missed it, you know, very looked like a beautiful wedding. And of course he decided to gift her what some say is a 200,000. But if you really look into it, a $600,000 Mercedes Benz AMG after all the bells and whistles put into it $600,000 Mercedes Benz gifted to a at the wedding. I don't know what that looks like to you gifting somebody a car at a wedding. How does, how's that go down?
Jonas Knox
His wife, I always say, I mean, my thing is the car is going to be outdated in one year.
Ryan
I got news for you. Most marriages are too dang.
Jonas Knox
I don't know. I, I don't live in that world. I got 20 in. So I don't know.
Ryan
Know.
Jonas Knox
What I will say is though, in terms of cars and vehicles, man, it's a depreciating value. Some cars don't depreciate in value. Some of them hold it. Maybe that's one that does. Seems to be a super bright kid, super smart kid, but I always say that car is going to be outdated in a year or two. I mean, to spend that type of money on a car if it's not a collectible, and if it's a collectible collectible, how often are you going to drive it?
Ryan
You know, I mean, listen, I'm. I'm just happy that they made it work and persevered over all the hate and just disgusting comments that were made about their relationship. And I'm not, you know, calling anybody out here on this show, but I know there were certain members of our show that were disturbed by the nature of their relationship.
Jonas Knox
Who, who was a disturber.
Ryan
I don't know.
Jonas Knox
Don't say me.
Ryan
I mean, listen, I'm not, you know, I don't want to.
Jonas Knox
Don't throw me out there as if I had a problem. I got a problem. I don't get into people's personal business like that. So don't throw me out there. Don't you do that. Don't put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby. Damn.
Ryan
You know. So how does the car go from 200 to 600, 000, though? That seems that's quite a job grades.
Clayton English
Yeah, that is. Well, it's got all, you know, it's. It's black on black, which is the.
Jonas Knox
Is the cool thing. It's the rims that totally played a part of why it's 200 and 600 grand.
Clayton English
They got that matte. It's got that matte. Oh, yeah, that black mat.
Ryan
White's cheaper.
Jonas Knox
Hey, how much does that white one cost? And is it available in AMG package?
Ryan
Are you serious, Johnson?
Jonas Knox
Oh, no. I wonder which one is faster.
Ryan
I know.
Jonas Knox
Lee.
Ryan
What else we got, guys?
Clayton English
In case you missed this, Shador Sanders spent a morning at John Marshall High School where he gave an interview and said that, you know, most of the hate that old. 99% of the hate that comes towards him is towards his pops. And that the younger generation is appeals to his star power. So saying all the hate that he got in the slide in the draft came down to the hate for his pops, huh?
Jonas Knox
I mean, I wouldn't say that's accurate. He. He garnered some of it, but, you know, I will definitely say that his dad's reputation and who he is and how he shines has definitely played a major part.
Ryan
Who doesn't like Prime? Come on man.
Jonas Knox
There's some people behind closed doors that hate on prime, man, so. But God bless Shador.

Topic: New York Knicks' Comeback Victory in the Eastern Conference Finals
The episode kicks off with hosts Lavar Arrington and Jonas Knox delving into the New York Knicks' recent triumph over the Indiana Pacers, highlighting the team's resilience and determination to push the series forward.
The discussion provides a detailed analysis of the pivotal moments in the game, emphasizing the Knicks' ability to overturn a significant deficit.
Jonas Knox ([04:56]):
"The Knicks get it done on the road in Indiana somehow, some way and bring the series to 2-1 in the Eastern Conference finals."
Ryan ([10:57]):
"The Knicks fought back. Carl Anthony Towns looked like two different people in the game. In the first half, it was like, come on, what are you doing? Probably need to bench him... In the second half, Cat fueled them."
A significant portion of the conversation centers around Carl Anthony Towns' outstanding performance, particularly his dominant fourth quarter which was crucial for the Knicks' comeback.
Ryan ([08:16]):
"Carl Anthony Towns, as you mentioned, he had the monster fourth quarter which fueled the comeback for the Knicks."
Jonas Knox ([08:27]):
"I saw opportunity to utilize all those hours I put into the gym... This is a testament to my teammates, you know, having trusted me and giving me, you know, putting me in spots where I could succeed..."
Hosts explore the broader implications of the Knicks' win on the series, discussing the potential outcomes and the psychological impact on both teams.
Jonas Knox ([11:07]):
"They still went up by 20... they gave a 20-point lead away."
Ryan ([11:08]):
"They just kind of didn't... It just looked like they were playing with their food... Now they're in a battle."
Jonas Knox ([11:36]):
"Now it turns into not a cruise control series for the Indiana Pacers... I believe it'll go to seven games."
The hosts offer strategic insights into what both teams need to focus on moving forward, particularly emphasizing the importance of Towns' role and the necessity for the Pacers to adjust their gameplay.
Jonas Knox ([15:40]):
"If Carl Anthony Towns just stays in the post or back, he can get a basket at the rim anytime he wants... But if he decides to unleash his inside game, the Pacers are in trouble."
Ryan ([19:42]):
"If Carl Anthony Towns is willing to take on that weight and really assert himself... this could get bad for Indiana."
Wrapping up, the hosts reflect on the Knicks' potential to sustain their momentum and the challenges that lie ahead in the series.
Jonas Knox ([39:27]):
"They've made changes to their offense, bringing in new players like DK Metcalf and Robert Woods. If Carl Anthony Towns continues his strong performance, the Knicks could overcome the Pacers."
Ryan ([40:05]):
"They could have one last opportunity to watch a future hall of famer like Aaron Rodgers... But I don't see them winning the series."
Lavar Arrington ([04:39]):
"...Allah. What the Indiana Pacers did to them in game one and game two and the Knicks get it done on the road in Indiana somehow, some way and bring the series to 2-1 in the Eastern Conference finals."
Jonas Knox ([08:50]):
"This is now a gut check for both teams because the New York Knicks got to do it one more time in Indiana, just like Indiana had to do it in New York."
Ryan ([30:55]):
"The Steelers are winning... they don't lose. They haven't had a losing season since Mike Tomlin took over as the head coach."
Knicks' Resilience: The Knicks showcased remarkable resilience by overcoming a 20-point deficit against the Pacers, signaling their determination to advance further in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Carl Anthony Towns' Impact: Towns' performance, especially in the fourth quarter, was pivotal in securing the win, highlighting his importance to the team's success.
Series Outlook: The series remains highly competitive, with both teams having opportunities to adjust and strategize in the upcoming games, potentially leading to a seven-game series.
Strategic Adjustments: For the Knicks to continue their success, maintaining Towns' strong inside game and leveraging new additions like DK Metcalf and Robert Woods will be crucial.
Pacers' Challenges: The Pacers need to address their shot selection and defensive strategies to counter the Knicks' offensive prowess and avoid further setbacks in the series.
This episode provides listeners with an in-depth analysis of the Knicks' recent victory, the critical role of key players, and the dynamic nature of the ongoing series against the Indiana Pacers. The hosts offer insightful commentary and predictions, making it a valuable listen for fans looking to understand the intricacies of the game and the teams' prospects.
