Dylan whipping up meat Friday. I'm not even going to tell you what the menu is. I'm going to let him tell you in about 15 minutes from now. But wow, you want to talk about a comeback? Sending a message to the Danets after they cried and moaned and whined because we had Indian food last Friday and not many of the Danets partook in that. So Dylan created a menu today and boy, is he out for retribution. He'll tell you about that coming up. Gangs all here. He went from 83 points to last night, I believe 21 points. I don't know if we've ever had a separation of 62 points for a player in back to back games. Jim Boeheim, he'll join us in the last hour of the show. I'm sure he'll be in a good mood and we'll get you ready for Selection Sunday. Seth Greenberg from the Mothership. No bids last night, but we did have drama yesterday. Miami of Ohio or Miami, Ohio or Miami loses and now all of a sudden are they on the outside looking in? Did they become a bubble team because they didn't win their conference? One loss? So we'll talk about that with Seth Greenberg, among other things. You had a couple of scares. Duke had a scare last night. North Carolina gets knocked off. I mean it's March, it's madness. And we got games coming up this weekend. 8, 7 7, 3, DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls. But you look at this week, we had an 83 point performance. We had free agency, quarterbacks moving, Kyler Murray finds a home, college basketball, the World Baseball Classic. Let me talk about Kyler Murray for a moment. I don't think it was a surprise, but I thought Ross Tucker bringing up something yesterday where he said that Kyler Murray was going to be interviewing teams. I haven't seen any reports on this, but he talked about Kyler Murray getting on a zoom call. He was going to do a one year deal with Minnesota, but he kind of wants to know where his future is going to be after this. Now, I don't know if that happened or not, but Ross brought that up that maybe he's talking to between three and five teams about more than just one year. If I'm Kyler Murray, I worry about this year because if you take care of business this year, you're not going to have to worry about where you're going to be the following year. Here is the question posed to Kyler Murray after signing with the Vikings. Do you view this as you're coming in as the starting quarterback? Do you view this as a competition? Yeah, no. Like I said, I'm just grateful for the opportunity. Grateful for the opportunity. I look forward to coming in, competing, getting to learn the offense, getting to be with Coach o'. Connell. Obviously he's had a lot of success and again, I'm just looking forward to the opportunity to come in here and competing. Yeah. And this is what Kevin O' Connell said. He wants competition there with J.J. mcCarthy. McCarthy has not played well. He's been hurt. The quarterbacking play, you know, it's remarkable how bad the Vikings quarterbacks were last year and they nearly carved out a 500 or above.500 record. You can go back to J.J. mcCarthy in a loss to the Falcons through for 150 yards. Actually Vikings went 9 and 8 last year, didn't they? Not 8 and 9. 9 and 8. 9 and 8. Yeah.500 record with this quarterback play. So J.J. mcCarthy threw for 150 yards, two interceptions, lost to the Falcons, lost to the Steelers. Carson Wentz through two interceptions, the Eagles and a loss to the Eagles. Carson Wentz threw two interceptions and a loss to the Chargers. Carson Wentz threw 100 through for 144 yards in an interception. In a loss to the Ravens. J.J. mcCarthy, two interceptions in a one possession game. In a loss to the Bears, McCarthy threw for 150 yards and two interceptions. McCarthy threw for 87 yards, two interceptions in a loss to the packers. And then in a loss to the Seahawks, Max Brosmer through for 120 yards, four interceptions. Any kind of quarterback play, anything that resembles any average or a little better. Now you're talking at least two more wins. Now you got 11 wins in a tough division. So Kyler Murray coming to to town and I'm curious what Justin Jefferson thinks of this. Whenever I think of the Vikings you know, it's not normal that when you think of your NFL team, you go right to another position player, not a quarterback. But in this situation, Justin Jefferson, now he still had decent numbers. He didn't score many touchdowns. I think he had two. But now you got Kyler Murray and they're going to change the offense. They're going to put him in shotgun. Kevin o' Connell has had his quarterbacks under center a lot, but from the reports there, I mean, you got to play to Kyler Murray's strengths here. I think it's a great pickup. You know, I don't think you can lose in this situation from the standpoint of you getting for 1.3 million, he's getting paid by the Cardinals. I just want to know if he's motivated because if he is, then this could be, you know, a fun special year in Minnesota. All right, Seaton, what's poll question? Maybe we start right there. How's Justin Jefferson feeling this morning? Confident or concerned? I would say you got to be more confident after this season. There was real concern. So anything that resembles a starting quarterback, I'd be like, all right. He did bring out a great season in DeAndre Hopkins back in 2020. Now I know that's a long time. That one time six years ago, a wide receiver had a good season with him. So hey, that's, that's good. I, I like the move. I think that there is, there's a ton of potential there. The question is, does he want to play and can they make it work in this offense? But if you have, if Justin Jefferson, it's a good place to start, let's put it that way. Yes. Paulie, three years ago, Justin Jefferson, 184 targets, 128 catches, 1800 yards. That was with Kirk Cousins, a non scrambler. Yeah. Well, I wonder if you could have Kirk Cousins or Kyler Murray back. If you asked Justin Jefferson, who's he going to want, he'd probably say Kirk Cousins. But I like Kyler Murray. I think it's a no risk. One year, see what you can do and then after that you can decide you want to keep him or you move on. Maybe J.J. mcCarthy is going to be healthy. Maybe he's going to be a first round talent. Yes. That's the thing that would bug me about Justin Jefferson or if I was him, is that it's, you know, you know, now another new quarterback, that what, we're going to give him a shot for a year to see what happens and then maybe we go back to the Other guy that was there that maybe we're not sure about either. There. There's just a lot of limbo. It's not so much about Kyler Murray himself, although that would be concerning to me, too. It's the fact that the Vikings are like, all right, let's give this guy another shot, See what happens with him. Like, dude, but what can we get a little stability here and who's throwing me the ball? It would worry me that we're headed down the Larry Fitzgerald path. Exactly. You look at the quarterbacks that he had, and you go, how did he have that many catches, that many yards? Now, he had a couple of really good quarterbacks, but also he had a long list of below average quarterbacks. And if I'm Justin Jefferson, I don't want to go down that road. It's a Hall of Fame road, but I don't want to go down that road with that list of characters at quarterback. Yes, Marvin. And the level of frustration that he must feel because the quarterback that went somewhere else won the Super Bowl. So he's like, we had our quarterback, and we won 14 games with him. What? I was just pulling. If you go back to. Oh, no, I don't. If you go back to early Larry, drop the mic. If you go back to early Larry Fitzgerald, he had, you know, he had a great quarterback, but then in the middle of his career, Kevin Cobb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley, Max hall, and then his numbers would be like 71 catches instead of 108. But that was the problem. Yeah. And he was a wonderful player, hall of Fame player. But there had to be frustration of, can't we get somebody that I can really count on? How is it hard to find somebody to throw me the ball consistently? I mean, I'm pretty, you know, if I'm one of these dudes like that, if I'm a Larry Fitzgerald or a Justin Jefferson or, you know, any great wide receivers, like, how is it this difficult to find a quarterback to throw me the ball? I agree. I agree. That's crazy. And then you have Marvin Harrison Jr III, where you think you have that wide receiver and you don't. Now had a pretty good year or second half of the year. I believe you got Trey McBride and, you know, Cardinals weren't able to take advantage of that. But I. I do like the move. And it's no surprise going to Minnesota now. I guess the waiting game is what the Steelers do. I guess it's Aaron Rodgers or Will Howard or who else do they have on the roster? The. Oh, who's the perennial? Well, they got him. The guy out of Oklahoma State. Mason Rudolph. Mason Rudolph, I believe is still there. I have him as the starter on the depth chart for the Steelers right now. Mason Rudolph. Okay. Yeah. All right. Confidence is high. Alrighty. So poll question. We're gonna do Kyler Murray first hour. Yeah, I think we're doing more. Justin Jefferson on how he's feeling this weekend right now, this morning. You can also put up there the expectations for the Chiefs next season are dot dot. Well, you know, whenever a player says, well, I don't want to go out that way. Well, there's no guarantee that Travis Kelsey is. Is going to have a better season or the Chiefs will have a better season. They lost a lot of players and Travis Kelsey's not your go to guy. Not even your second go to guy. You do bring in Kenneth Walker. I don't know what the time frame is going to be for Patrick Mahomes. You're in a tough division. I think the over under was 10 and a half wins. What I thought was kind of high thought it'd be nine and a half. But here's Travis Kelsey on his New Heights podcast talking about coming back, taking a step back, letting the emotions settle down, the frustrations from the season. Of course I want to come back. Of course I don't want to end my career not making the playoffs. And it still felt like I was hungry enough to get back at it. And obviously there's still a little bit of that grid and that emotion that, you know, I hated the way that ended last year and I want to make it right. Okay. I'll be surprised if he has a better year this year than last year, but that I'm going to base part of that on Patrick Mahomes availability and this Kansas City team. And let's see what they do in the draft. Do they go after a tight end? Is Travis Kelsey going to be a role player, a role tight end in this offense here? But I haven't met too many players who end up losing and. Or they don't play well or they get injured who don't say the following. I don't want to go out that way. Chances are it doesn't get much better than what it was before. But I'm glad he's back. It's a great storyline. I'm fine with it. And I'm sure that Patrick Mahomes loves having him out there. It just. You watched him and I. You could actually see him starting to slow down and not that he was fast, but, you know, he got into spaces. He got there before the defender did. He used to. And it just. They had some kind of chemistry synchronicity between him and Mahomes where it just worked, and it was almost unstoppable. But you could see, you know, the signs were certainly there that slowing down and not that go to guy anymore. Yes, Marv. And last season looked like the sad part of the Sports Century episode where somebody starts to slow down and they're not the player they used to be. And Travis Kelsey was missing passes that he normally caught with regularity. And you just saw him go into the other team's hands. And they used to be a whole bunch of RCIs last year. Yeah, it's kind of like behind the Music where you have to have the dip, but then they always come back after the dip, usually, you know, behind the Music. Johnny Resnick had a writer's block. What were Goo Goo Dolls gonna do? I love that. I love that, Iris. I love that. Hootie and the Blowfish had it behind the music. And everybody was like, wait, how can Hootie and the Blowfish have a Behind the music where something bad went wrong and. And the thing that went bad. The thing that went bad was we got too successful that everybody hated us. Yes. Oh, what the heck. What a tragedy. We were selling millions of records and everyone hated us. It was a really difficult time. What? Yes, Todd. And usually someone lost a limb or there was a fiery car crash or just something. Usually. Or drug overdose. Those are the behind the Music kind of things. It's like. And he lost his legs. Wait, are you talking about Def Leppard? I've heard there were a number of times where I've watched that show where someone lost a limb or it was a drug overdose or a fiery car crash, and that's what broke up the band. Well, I know it's always. There's always a drug overdose. I don't know how many people lost limbs. Yes. That's why the Goo Goo Dolls one is so funny to me, because Johnny Resnick having writer's block was the big hook on it. And he's like, you know, the funny thing about having writer's block is you're writing the whole time. Just everything you write sucks. You're like, wow, that must have been really hard to figure out. Johnny. One of these songs is going to be good eventually. Oh, now we got a good song again. Yeah. Yes, Paul. I. I just looked. The behind the Music for Motley Crue was two Hours long because there are so many deaths and overdoses, they had to do two hours. Ah, razzle, razzle. Got it in the, in the car. Yeah. That was a tough one. Yes. Marv, do you know the first artist, the first episode of behind the Music? Do you know who the artist was? Late 80s, early 90s, big scandal. Whitney Houston. I said big scandal. Mariah Carey, Billy Vanilli, Madonna. That was a big skill. Behind the fake music. August 17, 1997. The first episode ever of behind the Music. Yeah. And took place right across the street from espn. That's right. Lee Compounds. Lake Compounce. Heck yeah. Not Lake Compounds. Lake Compounce. Yeah. Yeah. That would be where we would have our picnic every year, the ESPN picnic where they rented out Lake Compounds. You know, it's. Girl, you know it, girl. I'm in love with you, girl. One of the guys still alive, right? Yes. Okay. Millie, I don't. I don't know if it's merely or vanilla checking or is he pretending to be alive? Okay, Todd. All right. We'll take a break. We got our poll question. We get phone calls coming up. And if you're watching on Peacock or NBC Sports Network, Dylan is going to unveil his venue. And it's definitely directed at the Danets after the revolt that we had a meat Friday last week that I thought was respectable, thought it was pretty tasty. But there were a few people and I'm looking at you people who Dylan is coming after. So that'll be coming up and we'll dive into the BAM out of bio game after the game as he talks about why does he have to apologize for scoring 83. Bam will join us at the final hour of the show. Following the most controversial Meet Friday menu and Dan Patrick show history, Dylan, who is the resident chef, he came up with a menu and it's a kids menu and it says fun bites for our little danets. Kids under 60 get to eat free. And here are the items and he says they're little bites. The nugget volcano. That'll be mashed potato volcano with gravy lava chicken fingers, including a Barbecue dipping fountain, SpongeBob Mac and Cheese, super cheesy noodles, cut up hot dogs, and also for sippy cups, chocolate milk. Who has it better than we do? Nobody. Todd, are those dino nuggets? I'm assuming that's like chicken nuggets, the dino nuggets. Because if that's. No, that's actual dinosaur. Todd. No, what I'm saying is if it's nuggets, if it's chicken nuggets as opposed to some other type of poultry or meat that sounds like the first and second item are pretty much the same thing with just different shapes. Accurate. Because we got chicken fingers. Why do we need nugget chicken and finger chicken? Why don't you take it up with the chef? I may have to. He's gonna be very upset with me coming off of last week and I'm complaining about the kid bites. But the first two things are basically that one thing. Yes, Seaton. I don't. I don't. I really. I'm still puzzled at the overwhelming backlash and now this sort of air of superiority for the Indian food eaters somehow that people are walking with their noses up a little more this week. Like those dino nuggets are named at me. Like what? What's the big deal? So you have nuggets and chicken fingers and Todd, you love both, but you love all of that complaint. I just said it's chicken nuggets and chicken fingers. Just. It's just two of the same. Going to mix one of those up. Yes. Indian food is the culinary world's version of the band Wilco, that if. Wilco. If you don't like Wilco, then you don't know anything about music. And that's basically the way that if you don't know Yankee Hotel Foxtro, then you really don't know anything about music. That's how people are reacting to if you enjoyed the Indian food last week or not. I think Radiohead was Radiohead. Wilco before Wilco. I think where. If you don't get Radiohead, then you don't get music. Maybe, maybe. Although that's correct. But if you don't get Wilco, there was like a plus on every possible album chart of ever of all time. It's like Wilco. And these guys, you just have to understand what they're doing here. And you're like, why? What if I just don't like it? It's okay. It's okay to just not like it. My brother, big Jeff Tweedy fan. Jeff Tweedy is an American hero. Come on. And so I would say to him, I said, dave, I don't. I don't get it. Why don't you get it? I go, I don't know. I tried. I mean, I said, I like the band Sunbolt more than I see now. Stay in your lane. Yes, Paul. Dan, I gotta ask you this because it's your gener. When I was a kid, I did not like Pink Floyd, and I was ostracized in the neighborhood. I was young, though, and I think I missed Peak Floyd, but it didn't go well for me. Yeah, Peak. That's Pink's brother. Yeah, Peak. Peak Floyd, yeah. They called him Peaky. Peaky Blinders Floyd. Caught a lot of heat, though. And then he had another brother, stepbrother Sleepy Floyd, who was also in there, too. Yeah. Oh, we're gonna hear from the. The music. Stay in your lanes. Yes. Marvin John in Illinois, line one. Yeah, I'm sure I'm gonna get. Yeah, you're gonna be a flamethrower. There's gonna be somebody coming after me. Oh, my God. Okay, so we have our menu here, and it's a menu that is catered to Fritzi. This everything, including the chocolate milk. I'm gonna put the sliced hot dog on the Mac and cheese and go to town. I think it's great. I think it's great. All right. We'll get phone calls. Coming up, 8, 7, 7, 3 DP show Bam out of bio. Will join us in the final hour of the program. He went from 83 points to 21 points. Obviously a big drop. And I was curious, is this the biggest drop in NBA history? And it is 62 points. Devin Booker went from 58 to his next game when he got injured, had two points. Anthony Davis went from 55 to one. I think he got injured in that game, of course. So it's a separation of 54 points. Donovan Mitchell, he went from 71 to 20. Tony Parker went from 55 to 4. I think he got injured as well. Kobe went from 81 to 30 and Anthony Davis again, 59 to 9. So those are the biggest separations. But 62 points, Bam Adebayo from 83 to 21. And the story still lives because Bam, after the game, was asked about, basically, why do I have to apologize for what I did? First of all, y' all are blaming me. You should be blaming that hair coach. Get that first. I was not the one. Let me go one on one the whole game until I started, until I had 70. Then you started to send a double. At that point, I got 70 with like, what, nine minutes left to go in the game. You think I'm not going for it? And that's the thing. That's crazy. When they talk about the unethical part of the basketball. I'm like, If I have 70 with nine minutes to go, who would just be like, you know, coach, just take me out. Yeah, right. Anybody in my shoes with nine minutes left? Okay, a minute. All right, nine. Yeah, I'm going for it. Good. I'm glad. You know, he doesn't have to apologize. The Wizards need to apologize for, you know, fielding a basketball team. You know, the Washington Generals probably would have done a better job against Bam out of bio. Probably. So, yes. Todd, did the buck study that game of the Wizards defense and figure out how to shut down Bam and get him down from 80 something to 20? I don't know. Maybe they take credit. Like, yeah, look at what we did. You know, we shut him down. I put the over under 22 and a half. He ended up with 21. Buddha in San Francisco. Hi, Buddha. Welcome back, buddy. Happy me Friday, boys. Let's go, Dylan. Dan. What a week. I mean, I am fired up. I mean, first of all, I was flooring people. Dan. This whole old school versus wedding, Christmas, wedding crashers topic this week in the restaurant, I was just blindsided regulars with that question. It was awesome to hear the responses but with regard to the whole Bam surpassing Kobe topic, I mean it's pretty cool that you have both their jerseys signed and hung up in the man cave. That's pretty epic, Dan. But my phone was blowing up on Tuesday and I gotta let everyone know, just to preface this all, my license plate, dan, it reads 24la. Great. I'm admittedly a Kobe disciple and I have to admit I feel bad for Bam. I mean, he's taking strays from everyone. In my opinion. It's not the fact that like he surpassed Kobe. That just serves most people, it's the way in which it happened. And I mean, and we've talked about that. You guys have talked about this. I think the frustration makes sense because I mean Kobe's 81 is one of those like mythic performances in NBA history. Like Wilts 100, like, fans tend to protect that. Like in my opinion. And like when a new player passes it in the way in which he did, I think that's where like the craziness comes in and the reaction from people. Like, I mean the whole reason that the NBA has gotten to where it's at, it's like it's almost unwatchable. And like, I mean the scas of the league getting to the line like they do, the amount of threes they're taking, the acting and the placating that goes on, I mean the load management, etc. The major problem like in the way the current paradigm of this NBA is they're soft and selfish and they're not looking out for the, the association, they're looking out for themselves. And you know, it's just, in my opinion, it's just not good. Thank you Buddha. That's a long winded Buddha there. Normally he's stealth, but talking defending Kobe Bryant. Yeah, I get it, I understand it. But I'm not blaming Bam out of bio. Although I will ask him when he got to 81, what did he think? Did he give it any thought that he would? Hey, I'll take myself out and I'll tie Kobe Bryant, who was his idol. Dustin in Alabama. Hi Dustin. What's on your mind? Morning in a big roll tide. Dylan's neat Friday cut up hot dog wieners is back in. Geez. Wow. Two quick comments. So I think free agency and NFL draft are a lot like your meat Fridays. That with free agency for the most part, you know what you're getting? Burgers, brats. But then you know the draft, you might get something a little more different. That might not sit well with everybody's. Stomach like Indian food. Regarding Bam, Kobe, Will, the whole scoring thing, you know, the thing about all that, all those games and the way they got to the points they did at the end of the day, in the beginning of the morning, they all put the pants on the same way we do. Thank you, Dustin. Aaron in Fresno. Hi, Aaron. What's on your mind? Dp, thanks for taking my call. Damn it. Happy me. Friday. I got a possible poll question and favor slash comment. I gotta ask you, dp, but first, Dylan, keep doing your thing, bro. Chopped up hot dogs. Those guys are going to have to use crock pots. But that being said, the poll question is Kobe top five or is he top five through 10? Because right now, talking online with people, if you disagree with somebody that loves Kobe, you get a lot of backlash. And with all that being said, I know you're interviewing Bam in a little bit. Could you just maybe ask him if it was a nice little. Little get back? Considering they lost to the Lakers in the finals in the bubble and he passed one of the great Lakers ever, maybe that might have just left a better taste in his mouth. You guys are the best. Have a great weekend. Peace. Thank you, Aaron. No, because Kobe was his idol. I don't think he was doing it to spite the Lakers losing in the finals. I think it was. It was just in front of him and he stayed in and they kept fouling him. And I don't think there was any. Any spite here. Yeah, Seaton, Sorry. Is Aaron suggesting there's something wrong with crock pots? No, I believe a crock pot just took a stray there. These guys look like they're people who use crock pots. What the hell is wrong with the crock pot, Aaron? It's a staple in my kitchen. I think Marvin said this yesterday. Bam. Adebayo Never thought he'd be there. Probably will never be close to this again. This was a night that came out of nowhere. This isn't a guy who scores 50 here and there and might have a frame of reference for going into a game like this. This is an anomaly against a horrible team that just happened and nobody had a chance to think there wasn't. You know, like at halftime, they weren't discussing Kobe Bryant's legacy in the locker room. No, but I think Eric Spoelstra, who is unapologetic as well, the Heat coach, he's saying, hey, I left him in. I was leaving him in. And he talked about that after last night. I apologize to absolutely no one, period. And you know, going into the game, you know, it's. It's a Tuesday night game against a team where they're not playing for anything, where their organization is trying to lose. We've already lost a game. You know, in that kind of situation, we have players that are sitting out. And I spoke to Bam about. I want, as our best player and team captain, for him to be locked in and ready. And he sure was. Yeah, he's never gonna have this chance again, but he did. He took advantage of it. Good for him. Ben in Milwaukee. Hi, Ben. What's on your mind? Good morning, Dan and Danette. Happy meat Friday. I think it's inevitable. Wilt's record is gonna get broken. And Bam was just the start. That three point shooting makes it inevitable. Not a big deal to hit 60 points, is it? Luca had an. Oh, by the way, 51 last night. I mean, it's. And I like how I'm listening to espn, and one of the announcers at the end, he goes, and Luca ended up with 51. And I go, wait a minute. Bam had 83. Like, I don't know if we can do it in a breathless manner anymore. Yes, Seaton. It's weird to me, though, that we're like, oh, well, this is just the start, because, you know, with all the three point shooting, this is going to happen more. Bam didn't do it by shooting threes. If anything, people are pissed at the amount of foul shots he got. So he did a one point at a time, not three points at a time. Yeah, and I think, you know, I was wondering about this, that I thought Devin Booker, Luca. I got to have somebody who's going to have the ball. James Harden, I thought would be a guy who could get 70. But, you know, there's a big difference. You get to 60, I mean, that's. That's rare. And then you're going to tack on 40 more. And you. I mean, there's only so many Wizards in the NBA. How many opportunities are you going to get a chance to play against somebody who isn't any good and maybe don't care about being good? But Bam out of bio. Still put up 60 on you in three quarters. So you can complain all you want. He still put up 60. And nobody was saying, oh, they're making a travesty of this. They did make a travesty of that in the fourth quarter, the way the Wizards played. Yeah, Paulie, I got the box score for Luca when he's with the Mavericks January 2024. He scored 73 points, 25 of 33 from the field, 8 of 13 from 3, 15 of 16 from the line. Guess who he did it against? Not Washington. Guess who he might have done it against? Miami? Yes. Marv. The Hawks. The Atlanta Hawks? The Wizards of the South? Yes. Then who do the Wizards trade for? Trey Young? Yep. Yeah. All right, we'll take a break. More phone calls coming up. We'll look ahead to Selection Sunday with Seth Greenberg from the mothership. Bam. Out of Bio in the final hour. And Jim Bayheim will join us as well. Take a break. By the way, this guy says today's meet Friday meal would be the NFL free agency version of picking up Kyler Murray. Oh, no. Dang, It's Mean Friday, not Mean Friday. I don't know if it's. Is that a shot at Dylan Is that a shot at us? Is that a shot at just everybody? I don't really know, but it is damn funny. Let's see. Today, Justin Jefferson is feeling confident or concerned. 54% of the audience have him as confident. And then the expectations for the Chiefs next season, super bowl, playoffs, or rebuilding playoffs have about 53% of that vote. That's the easy way out, is them making the playoffs. But rebuilding versus Super Bowl, 32% have them rebuilding still versus a Super bowl appearance. Ryan in Detroit. Hi, Ryan. What's on your mind this morning? Yeah, thanks for calling me back again, Dan. First of all, left leg, right leg, no Fritzi Fulcrum. And then with all of the shots coming across the bow, from management to the Danets via the Traeger the last couple weeks and free agency happening right now, it's got me wondering, have the Danettes explored free agency over the last many years and would they care to share any stories? Okay, Todd, I'll start with you. Have you explored free agency recently? I have not. Not only not recently, but not really at all. Over the past many years, we've been working together. All right, Satan, have you explored free agency? I have not. I have not explored free agency. I think free agency has been explored on my behalf, but not. I think there are other people who are more interested in my free agency, but, no, I haven't looked into it. Yeah. Yeah. Have you thought about free agency? Have you thought about moving on? Maybe you should. Maybe you should. Yeah. Marvin, have you explored free agency? I have not. No. All right, Paulie, not explored. Now that sounded like there was a cryptic yes. Now we. Sometimes I don't know what the other guys. You get calls, but you don't pursue or like click on job links, that type of stuff. Of course. Okay. All right. So there's your answer. I don't know if anybody's telling the truth, but I'm going to believe. I choose to believe them. I don't think that they've reached out. You're not going to find anything better than this, Marvin. You're not. You're right. I haven't explored, but I've been reached out to. Whoa. You want to tell me who? You want to tell me where I can. No. Something crazy. Why not? Okay, I'll text you. So somebody reach. Okay. And then I'll say it on the air. See Aaron in Virginia. Good morning, Aaron. What's on your mind today? Hey, man, I'm usually the contrarian when I call in and nothing has changed today, but I cannot with this conversation, I want to bring something up to you. Everybody has Kobe top whatever. I don't think he's even close. If you look at all time field goal percentage, just among shooting guards, only shooting guards. He's not even in the top 25. And I can't even get to his actual ranking without paying stat muse, which I'm not going to do, let alone the off the court stuff, which we won't get into, but lots of legal stuff. But shooting guard, that's your main focus is shooting. Field goal percentage is kind of the go to stat for that position. And again, not even the top 25. Yeah, but whatever you're talking about with, you know, Kobe off the floor has nothing to do with his all time ranking. And he was. He's a scorer. I mean, that's what he had to do. He had to score in volume and he did. Now where you rank him, it's open to interpretation. Obviously it's your opinion there. Is he a top 20 player? Absolutely. Top 15 player? Absolutely. You can make an argument He's a top 10 player. He might not fit into your style or the person, but I know what I saw. And he'd be hard to keep out of the top 10. Top 15 for sure. Yes. Paulie. I mean, if you were going to say anything negative about Kobe, you could say shooting stats. But I mean, if you call the guy Michael Jordan, light that, that's like an unbelievable compliment saying, well, he wasn't as good as Jordan. Okay, let's pump the brakes a little. But everybody kept searching for the next Jordan. Kobe was the next Jordan. It wasn't Tracy McGrady, it wasn't Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, all of these. We kept waiting. Always the next Jordan. He's the next Jordan. But we have the next Kobe was the next Jordan. Yes. Mark, in a big criticism of Kobe by a lot of people was, oh, he was trying to be Jordan. Duh. Wouldn't you want to try to be like the greatest player ever? I would. There are a lot of guys who tried to be like, if they had a campaign, be like, Mike, Kobe was as close as anybody has ever come. People wanted it to be LeBron and Michael. They. They're nowhere near the same kind of player. But Kobe was. It's weird. You know, we're. We're bringing back Kobe, we're bringing back Wilt. Now I do love this. When you have something this magnanimous where you, you start to then go, oh, let's explore Wilt Chamberlain's numbers or Kobe's numbers. And I think it's fun to be able to bring those players back to life and, and the respect that maybe they don't always get. Certainly Wilt. I will always be a proponent of what Wilt did. And you look at those stats, you go, wait a minute, he averaged 50 a game. Yeah, 50.4. I believe Seth Greenberg will talk some college basketball. Bam. Out a bio in an hour from now.
