Brent Musburger, just elected to the Pro Football hall of fame, the 2025 Pete Roselle Award. And Sterling Sharp, also a member of the Pro Football hall of fame class of 2025. The former Packer great will join us coming up. All right, a few things now. It got serious on Friday with Micah Parsons because up until this point, I just thought it was a chess game and Jerry's done this before. But always remember this if you're a Cowboy fan, Jerry doesn't lose anybody that he wants to keep. If he wants to keep Micah Parsons, he'll keep Micah Parsons. What happened is Micah Parsons agent got involved in this. Jerry likes to talk to the player and let's work this out. And normally the player does pretty well with Jerry Jones, but in this situation, Micah Parsons has requested a trade. Here is Jerry Jones on the message that he's sending to Cowboy fans. As always, in any relationships or different moods at different times of your relationship, that's what it is. Don't lose any sleepover. So just to be the one thing I would say to our fans don't lose any sleepover. Just to be clear, you don't feel the relationship has changed at all from the super bowl big again? I know my attitude, and my attitude is the same one I've had. I think the world of Micah. He's an outstanding player. He can really help us, but he's got to fit in with what's in the best interest of the team. And that's what the negotiation's all about. And it's not just about money. It's about trust. And the trust is wearing thin. You have Jerry and his son. They've walked the tightrope before. But this feels a little bit different than CD Lamb or Dak Prescott. Parsons isn't just another disgruntled player. He's a foundational piece. When you think of the defense. He's one of the top two, three, four players on defense in the NFL. And not every trade request ends in departure, but, you know, the tension is there. And I always wonder about the relationship that, yes, you can kind of tamp that down a little bit. You can bury it a little bit, but it's still there. Now, if Jerry really wanted to play and toy with Micah Parsons, you know, you can franchise tag him for a couple of years if you wanted to. It feels like Jerry has gotten what he wanted. You know, keep this in mind of when he bought the team. He got the three Super Bowls. Now it just feels like he loves being in the spotlight. The Cowboys are going to lead every show. Micah Parsons, they're going to talk about the Cowboys. He does subscribe to. Any publicity is good publicity. I don't. But he's a brilliant businessman, and the cowboys are worth $10 billion. The number of analysts who have in the last year or maybe year and a half said this is about publicity. If Jerry didn't have those three Super Bowls, I wonder what his approach would be as an owner, because he's got three, and he's a Hall of Famer and he's a billionaire. I think he craves the attention. I think he loves the attention. They haven't won anything now. They flirted with some good seasons that end up, you know, in. You know, it's a crash, a thud. But I just wonder about Jerry when it comes to having a microphone in his face, cameras in his face, everybody waiting to talk to you, waiting to see what you say. And sometimes the. I don't. Maybe lack of urgency has always concerned me here. You're probably the third best team in your own division. I just don't think you can play games like this, I think get. Get a contract done and move on. Get a contract. If you truly want to keep Micah Parsons and CD Lamb and Dak Prescott, then get the job done. Get it done. Because if you're going to wait, every time you've waited, it's cost you more money, and you need to have a full roster. You're top heavy with Micah and Dak and CD Lamb, but this is your goal when you draft them. Your goal is, I hope he's one of the greatest defensive players and he's here for a long time. Well, he's one of the greatest defensive players, but now you're making him rethink if he wants to be here. CD Lamb, I. I hope he becomes one of the best receivers in the game. He has now. Dak Prescott, you can say, well, you know what? If he proves to be a starter and he's consistent, man, that'll be great. We found a diamond in the rough. Okay, you got him, you signed him. You paid him more than you needed to, but that's your guy. He can be loyal. But then you're not quite sure why he gets some deals done and then doesn't get Micah Parsons done when you could have. And I go back to April, when before the draft. Now all of a sudden, you got everybody who can be involved in this. I. I don't want to wait till August if I'm going to play a game and say, all right, you know, maybe we'll. We'll trade him if we have to. He doesn't want to be here. We'll trade him in April. Everybody can be involved in this. If you truly aren't all in on Micah Parsons, that's when we should have been discussing this, not now, because it still feels like Jerry, he's going to get this done at some point. It might be in three weeks. It might be on, you know, the Sunday, you know, when they open up. What is it, a month? A month from today? The Cowboys open up. Right. So is that what his. I mean, we headed towards that kind of deadline finish line with Jerry, it just. It feels like he loves, craves, needs that attention, and he's gotten it. But if he didn't have those three Super Bowls, I wonder if his approach would be a whole lot different. All right, see what's poll question today. Is Dallas a good place to play? Yes or no? You don't want to lose that address like you're a cowboy. It's different. If Dak played for Jacksonville, no one would care CD Lamb. If he was in Cleveland, we'd be like, that guy's pretty good. Micah Parsons, he would be different, because Micah Parsons would still be a force no matter where he is. But being a cowboy, it means something more than any other franchise. As loyal as Green Bay is, as Pittsburgh is, you know, the old Raiders, there's something about being a Dallas Cowboy. Everything that goes with that, you get clicks, you get headlines, you get publicity, you get endorsements. You're a cowboy. If you can put up with that. From the standpoint of everything you do is under a magnifying glass. You know, I saw Jack Prescott's building a mansion, and I saw the early stages of. Of that. Or a gender reveal with his wife or girlfriend. Like, it's all there. You know, you got Troy Aman, who. Something said, you know, Troy that, you know, he talks about the Cowboys. It's going to be put there on the front page. Tony Romo, I mean, they got jobs. They're Cowboys. Jason Garrett got a job. Jason Whitten got a job. So you. You do have. I mean, it means something. It's like being a Laker, kind of like being a Dodger or a Yankee, but to a lesser degree. But, you know, you have that address, and if you can. If you can put up with everything that goes along with it, it's a great place to play. Yes. Right. But there's the address, and then there's everything that comes with the address. And one of those things is not rings. Yes. What you get is you're overrated because you're a cowboy. You get constant abuse from Cowboy fans. We could just look at Shea for that. There's these unbelievable expectations of greatness despite no real recent track history of being able to accomplish that. True. It feels like that address is maybe a little delusional right now about what that address means. I think it's absolutely delusional because it's been 30 years. Correct. No team in any sport in the United States has gotten more publicity for doing less than Dallas. But Dallas gets more publicity than anybody. And you're living off those fumes of a different generation with the triplets there. And Jerry has built up. Build up this house. Credit that, hey, he's. He still means something, what the Cowboys mean, but they don't mean anything. If you think about it, like, they're just a curiosity, that's all. Like, I don't. What. What's the over? Under Seven and a half, Maybe eight and a half at the most. Maybe they make the playoffs this year. If all goes well. Here's another thing that's kind of lost in this, in my opinion. You have Brian Schottenheimer, who's a first time head coach. It's already tough enough to coach the Cowboys. Now we're gonna, you know, give you a degree of difficulty here, and he's trying to establish a culture here. Well, it's hard to do that when your best player is right over there and he's not practicing. You got a quarterback who's injury prone and you paid him all that money. You got Pickens, who's going to eventually want a contract, too. Like, there's a lot of things involved in this. You know, they do some things really, really well. And then there are other things where you go. And this is where the attention to detail, I think, has cost them greatly. And as somebody with the players association said to me last weekend, if you wait, how many, how many months with Micah Parsons, if you know that you, you love Micah Parsons, then it's like when you say, you know, I, I don't want to get married, but I'm going to stay engaged. And then the next year we're still engaged, but I don't know if I want to get married. Well, then you're probably not going to get married or you shouldn't get married. But when you meet somebody and you say, hey, you're the person. Hey, I've been with you for four years and you have performed at the highest level, then you marry him, you sign him up. But Jerry's like, I don't know, he could get hit by a car. What? What? He could. And so could you. Yes. Marvin, don't you, don't you try to draft well and get a great edge rusher so you can sign him and so he can be on that team for the rest of his career? Yes. Crazy thoughts. That's the goal. That's the goal that you found your guy and then all of a sudden you're not quite sure. And. And I'm. I'm sure a deal will get done. You do not want to lose Micah Parsons because if you did, then lose him in April when you can take advantage of the draft and teams who would then, you know, pony up. You're not going to get equal value here from Micah Parsons. I don't think he'll be traded. It's. Jerry doesn't want to deal with Micah's agent. That's all. Jerry likes to talk to the player one on one. We'll get a deal done. And. And. Hey, hey. I reached you know, but he. He's the one because he brought in his agent. Now, I don't know why, I don't know what the numbers are, but it feels like Jerry was bothered that I thought we were going to talk about this. We were going to go back and forth, and we get a deal done. Yes. That's why people have agents, so that they can do that on someone's behalf. I do like the idea, though, that Jerry's like, you know, he needs to do what's best for the team. You just say, well, isn't what's best for the team having me on it? Yes, Dylan. I think the team's better with me playing. Yes. So maybe you should do what's best for the team. Yes. Jerry also seems like the first guy who, if you didn't have an agent in those discussions, he'd be like, oh, I'm gonna capitalize on this one. Yeah. Also, Dan, for the record, eight and a half. Eight and a half wins for the Cowboys. Sounding higher and higher. Yeah, I'm. I'm going higher. Yes. Marvin, I can't wait until the opening of Thursday Night Football. Opening night Eagles celebrating their super bowl trophy. We're talking about Micah Parsons. Oh, yeah, you have to. He got signed the Tuesday before the Thursday night game. You think that's when it happens, but he's not in camp. This happened with CD Lamb. They dragged Dak Prescotts out until the first Sunday of the NFL season. And I. Look, Jerry Jones will never come on this show, but you know, anybody who talks to him locally, I would just want to know. Tell me the business philosophy for waiting for somebody you're going to sign. I just want to know that, because if, as the Source of the NFL Players association said, you know, 8 million, you know the difference between 34 million and 42 million, and then the following season, that's another 8 million. 8 million. So you could be paying $32 million more than you needed to over four years for Micah Parsons. I don't understand the logic. Unless you say we. Well, we got $32 million in publicity. Now, he probably got 100 million in publicity thanks to ESPN. Yes, Marvin. And don't forget, Jerry almost screwed up the first Dynasty when he didn't sign Emmett smith. And they went.02 to start that season. Yes. Yes, Dill. I mean, that's sort of like getting, like, a parking ticket and just being like, I don't want to pay it right now. And then in two weeks, it's like triple the price. You're like, well, that was stupid. And, you know, I don't like leading with the Cowboys because I just. I. I won't do that to you. But in this situation, now that you have the trade request and do I still think it's going to get done? I do. I'm just kind of fascinated with the approach. These brilliant businessmen who are smart enough to make billions, and then when it comes to dealing, you know, with individuals and you make moves and you go, how's this guy a billionaire again? Yes, Marvin, But Jerry doesn't think he's like the other guys. He thinks he's a football guy because he played football at Arkansas. So he's a. No, no. I'm not like the rest of them. I'm a football guy that became a billionaire. Yeah. All right, so we'll come up with a poll question today. I. It frustrates me because the Cowboys dominate the headlines when there's really no news. And so now you have them front and center, and it just gets to the point where you go, I may bang my head against the wall. It'll get done. Now there's part of me hoping it doesn't get done like I want. Give me some chaos here. Send him to the Chicago Bears. All right, now we got something to talk about. But go back. Jerry and Micah hold a joint press conference. And Jerry talk about, you know, Micah and I love him like a son. And, you know, hey, you know, Jerry's tough. He's tough negotiator. Yes, he is. Happy to be accountant. Like, I've been doing this 40 years. Oh, not much longer, though. All right, gonna take a break. We're just getting started on this Monday and morale is high. Yes, Marvin, only a couple more off seasons. If you're talking Cowboys. I know. We'll take a break. We'll check in with the Cowboys. We'll dive in a little deeper next hour. And then two hall of Famers in the final hour, Brent Musburger and Sterling Sharp. Just getting started on this Monday. Glad to have you on board, Dan. And the Dan Edge. Dan Patrick show. Paulie's out today. Dylan is sitting in his chair. Fritz, he's here. Seaton Marv yours truly. 8773 DP show best and worst of the weekend what you saw that you like, you didn't like. Mary Kay Cabot covers the Cleveland Browns. She was there at the Pro Football hall of Fame, and she took a little shot at Bill Belichick. Bill Belichick was the first Browns coach I ever covered. You see, if you start out with Bill Belichick, no one can rattle you after that. If Bill didn't like something I wrote, he'd call and yell at me. If you asked a dumb question, he'd call you out. Eventually, I had to learn to stand up to him. During one of those yelling matches, I told him, if you don't have the footballs to say that to the guys, then don't say it to me. Bam. But now I totally understand why Bill gave me such a hard time. I was 28 at the time, and he just couldn't relate to a woman that old. Damn, that was a bloop. Bloop. Bill's girlfriend took a shot at Mary Kay Cabot. I guess she wasn't real appreciative of what she had to say, although she's taken a shot at Bill's age before. But Mary Kay Cabot, who has covered the Cleveland Browns for a long time, taking a little shot when Bill used to be the head coach of The Cleveland Browns. 8773 DP Show we'll get to your best and worst of the weekend that'll be coming up. And we were just talking during the commercial break that it feels like the further we get away from the Cowboys winning those three Super Bowls, the greater Jimmy Johnson's legacy becomes, the larger it becomes. Because that's somebody who went toe to toe with Jerry Jones and that's where egos get involved. And who's taking credit for this? Well, Jerry can take all the credit he wants for the last 30 years, but with Jimmy, that was a partnership there and we thought it was going to work. Well, Jerry, you know, trusted Jimmy, former teammates at Arkansas. But then when you realize how long Jerry made Jimmy wait to get into the Ring of honor, that's when you understand pettiness. He waited. Made him wait. Now you can say this as a friend of mine who is affiliated with the Cowboys. Was a great marketing by Jerry because he got all that publicity by not putting Jimmy Johnson. I go, damn, this is some deep stuff. I, I don't know how deep it goes for Jerry and how twisted he can be when it comes to getting publicity and what that means to him. But do I think that he held him out of the Ring of Honor because he would get all this publicity instead of. If he put him in right away, then we wouldn't talk about it. Okay, let's see, what else do we have here? So Jared Allen, Eric Allen, Sterling Sharpe, Antonio Gates. Brett Musberger is Antonio Gates. Is he the answer to the trivia question? The only hall of Famer who never played college football because he was a college basketball player and actually a pretty good basketball player, but I think he's the only member of the Pro Football hall of Fame player wise, who never played college football. Yes. What does that say about football? I think at that position, because Jimmy Graham was a basketball player as well and more known as a basketball player. I think at that position it's, it's about your, your size, athleticism and positioning. And basketball is about positioning. When you think about when you score, where are you when you're playing defense, you know, using your body? I'm, I'm going to probably just look at that position. I don't know if there's other ones where you say, hey, I don't need to play college football. I can walk in and play that position. I don't know if there's other ones like that, but it feels like a tight end. The athleticism, body type and also positioning as well. Yes, Marv. Yeah, definitely. Power forward to tight end. Seems like a pretty seamless transition at, you know, compared to other positions. But you got to seal guys off. You got to always catch the ball, too. Power forwards are always catching the ball. I know some football is different than a basketball, but same size, same speed. So football players are really just failed basketball players. Well, also, a big guy in football is not a big guy in basketball. Antonio Gates, if he was, you know, playing basketball, they'd be like, all right, that guy, six, five. He's all right. You know, then. Then you start to see the really big guys in basketball, in football, man, Gates, he's a big guy. That dude's big. Like. No, he's not. Yeah, Marvin. I always go back. Steph Curry is the same height as Miles Garrett. Who would you rather have? Miles Garrett. Pretty good basketball player. Failed basketball player. That's tough. So Antonio Gates played at Kent State University and he was an undrafted free agent and I saw his basketball highlights. He had good feet, good footwork, good hands. And once again, that's another thing. Basketball gives you footwork. You have to have that as a tight end, size wise. Good hands and positioning and turned out to be great. Great signing. Who else? Tony Gonzalez, basketball player as well. And failed basketball player. Is that what you're saying, Marv? I don't want to say the quiet part out loud. DraftKings just sent me this. The offensive rookie of the year odds, Ashton Genty of my Raiders. Then Cam Ward, o' Marion Hampton. Travis Hunter is third on the list. Then Tyler Shuck is on the list as well. He is the other quarterback. NFL defensive rookie of the year odds Abdul Carter, he is the runaway favorite. Then Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter's odds are better as a defensive player than an offensive player. Jalen Walker, Mike Green. So those are just some of the defensive players up for the the award. Okay, couple of phone calls in here. We lead off with Gus in LA. Hi, Gus. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Mr. Patrick. Hope you and the boys had a great weekend. All right, let's dive into a couple, good couple, best of the weekend. My dog who's showing some life, taking two out of three this weekend. Luca, officially Los Angeles. Luca Trilingual Luke, I'm going to call him as he held his press conference in almost three languages. And then we get to the worst of the weekend, which is when I always say, when the Cowboys lose, America wins. Right? And. But this is kind of like we're like I'm sitting there and I'm sympathizing with almost two full generation of Cowboy fans now that do not know what a Lombardi looks like. And it seems like every year we have this thing of where their drama dominates the headlines more than the output on the field. And where does Jerry Jones sit back and be like, guys, it's going to be fine. It's Going to be fine. No, it hasn't. You have not brought a winning team to that city for almost 40 years. So where does this show that? It's like, hey, the process works. This works. You just gotta trust in it. It does not work. Once again, Jerry Jones showing he got lucky at the beginning, and he's just writing that out till the end. You boys have a great week. Thank you, Gus. Luca signs a contract extension. Three year deal. I think it's two years. And then in an option and you had a lot of players who were there. LeBron was not there, although he FaceTimed Luca. Here's the one curious thing about all of that. Now, LeBron, I think, was posting that he was playing golf at the time on vacation. I'm guessing that he knew this was going to happen, but, okay, you're on vacation. The one person who I thought should have been there was his son, like Bronnie James. If he wants to stay longer after LeBron leaves, like, that's your teammate. That's what was surprising. Ronnie James should have been there. You're the last guy on the roster. You should be there. Show support. It just felt like, hey, my dad's LeBron, we got a vacation. I mean, that's where you say, dad, that's my team. That's my teammate. And if LeBron doesn't want to be there, it just feels like there's, you know, a game going on. The passive aggressive, who knows European league, you know, back and forth. I'm working at, out at the old Clippers facility. And here we go. You should be there. It's important. But as it was pointed out to me from somebody with the Lakers yesterday, Luca is the face of the Lakers. LeBron's the face of the league, and they both play on the same team. But as I was told last night, hey, make no mistake about it, it's Lucas team. And LeBron knows that. But there's nothing else he can do, because if he was going to do something, he wouldn't have signed that contract extension. He would have said, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to bookend this. I'm going back to Cleveland and I'm going to win another championship there. If it's about winning and you want to have the final say in all of this, you could have. You don't want to lose that address. You want to be in Los Angeles. All your business ties are there. Your family's there. You're there. Be there to support Luca. Now, I know it's not a big deal. But with LeBron, it's always a big deal. Everything becomes a bigger deal because he wasn't there. Bronnie should have been there. Dad, I'm going to cut short this vacation. I need to be there. I think it's really important as. As LeBron. If that's my son and he said that, I'd be like, all right, son, you're right. You should be there. But if LeBron FaceTime, Luca Luke is fine with. I mean, you know, I don't think there's any acrimony there, but I think it's awkward. But I also. When this trade happened, I said, if Luca wants to be the best player in the league, all he needs to do is look at LeBron James and what LeBron does to get ready for a season. If Luka does that, Luca can be the best player in the game. And we've seen what's happened this off season. He's gotten in his best shape, and he's there for a couple more years. He's probably going to be eventually the first player to make $80 million in a season, almost a million dol a game. That'll be the next contract here, probably in two years when he signs another extension. It'll be for probably close to $80 million. Kyle in Rochester. Good morning, Kyle. What's on your mind today? First time, long time, 6 foot, 220, best of the weekend. I'm currently in the hospital with the newest Dan Patrick show fan, weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces. And I'm calling Colin. I'm a Brown fan. And you know, Miles Garrett earlier came out and did that media tour of how he's requesting a trade and all this, and then we just threw a bunch of money at him and he's back. Don't you think Jerry will just end up doing the same thing and this all just kind of blow over? I'll hang up and listen. Yeah, and. And congrats, Kyle. Yeah, I. I've said all along that's why I've just been involved in baseball. Lockouts and strikes, holdouts, like all of this stuff over the years, and it always comes down to just a little bit one way or the other. Hey, you sacrifice. Hey, I'm going to sweeten it a little bit. Hey, I'll give you a little bit here. I'll take away a little bit there. We're going to guarantee that that's what this comes down. They know exactly what the number is. They know what will get this done. Jerry might have a different number than Micah Parsons and his agent, but it just feels like if it does get done, then it feels like we've been played again by. By Jerry. It just does. I. I think when he wakes up and he turns on the TV and he goes, yep, they're talking about my team. And in his mind, he's probably saying, the value, it just keeps going up and up. They don't have to win. Jerry, just be relevant. That's why when you're a bad team, at least be interesting. There are good teams who aren't interesting. You want to be relevant. That's. You want to get into the news cycle. You want to make sure that they're debating and talking and. Okay, I don't subscribe to that, but Jerry has become a great marketer of a product that is not that good. Yes. Yes. Dylan. I mean, do you think he's just like, all in on any press is good press? Yeah. No, it's almost always bad. Yes. Yes. And he's done a great job on that. He truly has done a great job at that. But if you're a Cowboy fan, like, after a while, it's just. It's frustrating, I think, because you want, you know, you. You take great pride, but. But you're not one of those teams that, you know, we look at with the same reverence that we once did. You're kind of like, man, I remember. I'm old enough to re. When somebody says, I'm old enough to remember when they were good. You know, you got a whole generation that's whiffed on the Cowboys. Yes. Eden, at some point, you want to be famous for more than just being famous. Yeah. You know? Yeah, maybe. Like Marvin just said, it's a little Kardashians ish. At this point where it's like, yeah, no, but that used to be really good. Yeah. Yeah. Dill. I just. Funny picturing Jerry being a Kardashian. Well, also, I mean, like, it's kind of monopoly money, right? Like, they're. They're just drawing it out. Like, there's a salary cap. He's obviously going to pay him, and over three years, that difference isn't really going to matter that much. But if you're a cow dyke, don't do that to your fan base. I agree. That's all. Because the rest of the country hates the Cowboys. But to your fan base, just let them know that I've got this. I'm taking care of him. You know what? That's why I bring up the Eagles and The Chiefs, they're so well run because they get in front of this, they sign guys, you might lose guys, but you keep your core and there's no drama attached to this. What's the drama with the Chiefs? What's the drama with the Eagles? And look at what the Eagles did with Saquon Barkley. The Giants were going to be stupid. They were going to let you eavesdrop in their negotiations. I use in quotation marks with Saquon Barkley, and he's like, man, they're playing me for a fool. And the Eagles were like, we'll take you. We'll take you. Thank you, sir. That's. I mean, that's what you want with your franchise. They're a step ahead, two steps ahead. And the Chiefs and Eagles are exactly that. And that's why they're great. Yes, Marvin. And the networks have had a hand in the Cowboys being even more hated because, hey, it's the middle of July. Hey, we don't have anything else to talk about. What's Dax legacy coming up next? Like, what? I know, but the audience eats it up. That's why they do it. Like, what came first. You're interested in the Cowboys or we're going to give you the Cowboys that, you know, it's the chicken or the egg. And, you know, the networks realize, ESPN realizes, hey, all else fails Cowboys and you can make something up. I've been in those meetings before, you know, can we start doing that? No, no, it's just not any fun. I mean, I, I see hosts who do it, and some are really good at doing it. I just, I would hate to come in and somebody hands you a rundown and goes, here's what you're talking about today. And that's the way it was at espn. Here you go and you're like, damn, Yankees, Red Sox again. Duke, North Carolina, get. Now, granted, those were, you know, rivalries, but it just. Hey, they're not playing until two weeks from now. Let's. Let's start previewing that series. And you're like, alrighty. Okay. Shut up, Dan. You hate the Cowboys, but you talk. No, no, just sometimes I have to talk about the Cowboys. Take a break. I would like to stand up for my brethren that are called the realistic Cowboy fans. Okay. I am almost 38 years old. I barely remember the 95 Super Bowl. But we, we as Cowboy fans, true blue Cowboy fans, understand that we suck where we have sucked. We haven't been close. Des catch didn't matter. Aaron Rodgers would have come down and scored. It's not that big a deal. We suck. We know it. Don't take it out on the fans. Take it out on Big Jerry. But doesn't it bother you, though, the attention that your team gets? And it's not good attention. And it doesn't feel like you're moving any closer to a Super Bowl? Oh, it's miserable. You should hear my dad talk about stall back. I mean, I'm like, this is a different breed, brother. We gotta. We gotta move on. Thank you, Kevin, and good luck. This season. Eight and a half is the win total. I'm going over. I'm going over. For entertainment purposes only. Nine. Nine. If all goes right, they can't win nine and a half. So it's either nine or ten. You might find a way. Yeah. Yes, Todd. Can they win, like a road playoff game? Can they sneak into playoff team? I don't know, man. I don't know. Because that's the difference between guessing a 9 or a 10 win. Yeah, I don't. I. I'm gonna. I'm gonna hope for the best. That all of this was worth it. That everything that happened in the off season, it's all worth it. You get nine wins. That's a great season. That's weird. Yes, Dill. I mean, if you're a Cowboy fan and you want to feel good at all, you could take them over. Two and a half wins, that's minus 8,000. Just a small victory. Okay. What are the odds to win a playoff game? Let me check and I'll get back to you. All right. Thank you. Get some of my best people on that. Al in Atlanta. Hi, Al. Welcome back. Good morning, Dan. Best of the weekend. Even though Mother Nature tried to yuck on our yum and make us wait three quarters of a day, the MLB Speedway Classic went off with not too much of a hitch and Eli White stepping up in the absence of Ronald Acuna Jr. Hitting two home runs, helping the Braves get a win. Let's go. And then the worst of the weekend, listening to the post game show on the radio and being reminded that the Braves record is 47 and 63 behind the Miami Marlins who just swept the Yankees just ruined the entire high of winning that game. It was just not the way to end my Sunday. Thank you. It's Alan Atlanta. John in Cincinnati. Good morning John. What's on your mind? Hey John. Jack in Ohio. Hi Jack. What's on your mind today? Hey DP, how's it going? Good, sir. 511, 240. I just have a best of the weekend. I coach my 6 year old son Slag football team and when we played our game he sat for three quarters of the game with a cramp in his side or something. He told me he didn't feel like playing and we couldn't get anything clicking. We were down two touchdowns. I threw him in the game, he said he was ready. First play he was in, he throws a touchdown pass and then in a final minute of the game when we need to tie it up, I put him out at receiver and in the ensuing play he catches the game tying touchdown pass. We end up tying which locked us a top seed in our league. All right, how about a round of applause for Jeff? Nicely done. All right. What's that like to watch your kid do something really well athletically? Skip the generation My family Seaton's witnessed it. None of the other Fritzi, you didn't really. I still had a couple of moments but he also had a couple months that went very much the other way too. Thank you, Todd. How did you not catch that? Check in with the Cowboys coming up hour two. Let's be real. Life happens. Kids spill, pets shed and accidents are inevitable. Find a sofa that can keep up at washablesofas. Com.
