Stat of the day Poll question play of the day all of that forthcoming the NFL schedule. They're starting to leak out some of the games. We'll talk about the season opener with the Eagles and the Eagles opening up at home. Defending super bowl champs always at home. And if you're looking at who would be the potential opponents, you have to look at who the Eagles would be home hosting. It's not a you would be playing them. Eagles play a game in Los Angeles against the Chargers. So that is obviously one you can't open up with. They also are at the Buffalo Bills. That can't be an opening night. They will open up against the Dallas Cowboys and I was surprised at this but we'll talk about the other options that they could have had. By the way, I think the point spread already out on that. No, no. Yes it is. Yes it is. Dylan just sent this to me. NFL opening day odds the Cowboys will be okay. Let's take a guess. Cowboys at The Eagles Paul 6 1/2 Marvin 8 1/2 Todd 4 1/2 Seton 3 1/2 Seven Eagles favored by seven over under opening night Philadelphia and the Cowboys Seaton over, under like total points, total points. 42. All right. Marvin 42 and a half. Paul 44 and a half. Todd 46 and a half. Blue, blue, blue. Yeah. All right. All right. The Eagles are going to have 46 and the Cowboys have half a point. Unlikely. Yeah. So the point spread already out. The Cowboys are getting seven against the Eagles. All right, which poll question we're going to go with, by the way? The football news. Derek Carr retiring. Now we'll look at the possibilities for the Saints. I don't know if you're the Saints. Do you start tanking now and then you get Arch Manning. Arch Manning to leave Texas and then he goes to his hometown of New Orleans. I don't know. Or Aaron Rodgers. All right, see what's poll question today. Well, we might as well stick with the NFL then. The currently the least watchable team in the NFL is in May. Yeah, let's just. Five minutes in. Let's just jump right off the negativity cliff. By the way. 8773 DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls. Best and worst of the weekend. What you saw that you liked, you didn't like. Okay. There are many teams that you could throw on there. I'll just rattle off a few and then we can go from there. Okay. Right. All right. These are currently least watchable type teams to me anyway. Right. Titans, Browns, Saints, Patriots, Steelers, Giants, Jets. Okay. Sometimes you want to watch a team because you know it's going to be a mess. It's going to be a car crash. They were like rarely do they start fist fighting on the sideline where you're like, ah, yes. This is really. What you're just watching is crappy teams play. Yeah. Yes. Marvin, we're missing the Indianapolis Colts. Okay. You're not all in on the Anthony Richardson, Danny Dimes quarterback. Absolutely not. Okay. Well, the Titans, at least that they have Cam Ward. So I would say if I'm factoring that in, then the Titans will be interesting. Ish. Okay. I mean the Browns are going to be interesting. I think how the Browns are covered will be interesting. I don't know how good they're going to be on the field. But. But I think. I think how the Browns are covered by the national and local media will be really interesting possibility for a lot of midweek drama with that team. Yes. There's going to be a lot of Wednesday storylines. It feels like with the Browns this year. Probably so. Great. Probably so. That's fun. That's all right, I'll take both of those off the list. Okay, great. I have put the Saints on there. I don't feel like the Saints are super interesting right now. They're not very watchable. No. No. All right, how about the Patriots? They're building something. Yeah. They got an offensive lineman in the draft. Like, okay, I. I think they're moving in the right direction. They have a proven coach. Drake may played really well. Certain curiosity there. Maybe take a peek. But it's not like, it's not super watchable. No. Right now. No. How about the Steelers? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what we're watching there, so maybe that's why they're not watchable. What are we going to watch? What are we going to see? T.J. watt coming after your quarterback all day? How about the New York Football Giants? Yeah, you. Are you interested in watching? Yeah. Because if I got Russ, they're cooking Jamis over there on the sidelines. Oh, my God. Dude eating lead paint chips. I can't with that dude. Just can't with James. Yes. Todd, how much time do you want to spend watching the Arizona Cardinals play? I was just looking at that draft pick. Nothing against Walter Nolan out of Ole Miss and Will Johnson out of Michigan and Jordan Birch out of Oregon. But I just don't know what this. I think they had a good draft. They just didn't take anybody in the skill positions. So therefore we. I. It's weird how we look at a draft and go, I don't know, we got a defensive lineman and we got a defensive back. Then. Then you look at that team two years later and you go, damn, we got those guys in the draft. I mean, look at the Eagles, how they built their team. They weren't, you know, you had to do it from inside out with their offensive and defensive line. And I think that we tend to look at the draft or draft picks with our teams and go, I don't know who he is. I don't know. But, you know, a lot of times they turn out to be really, really good. I thought Marvin Harrison Jr. III was going to be unbelievable last year. This year he gets 100 catches. I think now he. Now he proves himself. They got a great tight end who never scores touchdowns, but McBride, he's good fun. He got paid. And then you got my friend Kyler Murray. So I don't know. Yeah, I'd probably put. I don't go out of my way to watch the Cardinals. Who else is on that seaton? Let's see. We could Go with the Broncos. Are you interested in watching the Broncos? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. The Jets. I'm. I'm mildly interested because I want to see what Aaron Glenn does. You do? Yeah, mildly. But I do like watching Justin Fields. I, I am entertained by him. I keep thinking he is a legitimate starter in the NFL and maybe I'm starting to lose that, that contest. But yeah, I'm mildly interested in the Giants. I mean, for the most part, you. All these teams have some hope because we see this every year where you go from, you know, worst to first in your division. It happens a lot because the schedule is catered to you. If you weren't good the previous year and you look at some of these teams, you look at their schedules, I mean, it's going to be a real challenge for the Eagles. They play a couple of tough games on the road, but they open up with the Cowboys. All right, we'll talk a little bit more about that as well. Looking back on the basketball, Joker is winded. He is gassed. And you saw that yesterday. That was tough. First quarter, it's 17 to 9. And I went, oh, boy, this isn't what I thought it was going to be. And then give credit to the Thunder. You know, there's a lot of times and I've talked about where teams are on a fact finding mission like the Rockets this year. Fact finding, it's sort of like a, you know, a school trip. You're going to go and you're going to experience and then the next year, if you get that opportunity, you'll learn from it. And I think that's what we're seeing. Oklahoma City's youngest team in the NBA. But this isn't about, you know, maturity or lack thereof. I mean, they, they had a statement win. That's interesting because it wasn't by the margin. It was just. They had composure there. And then I guess you could say, well, that is maturity. But, you know, Shea Gil just didn't play great, but nine of his 25 points came in the fourth quarter and that's when they needed it. And I think that's the interesting part of seeing these teams that I think Oklahoma City loses that game a year ago, but, you know, they didn't get bothered by the physicality of Denver. And that was a game that I thought Denver was going to win. By the way, Michael Porter Jr. III, he, he made one more basket than I did yesterday. And I don't know how you can play 34 minutes and you get three points. And this is A really important game. Now, this isn't to exonerate Joker. Joker didn't play well. Hadn't really played well. He played one really good game. But, you know, this is where you do need that supporting cast. Russ goes 2 for 12 in these moments. This is when everybody has to contribute because OKC is deep. And you saw that they didn't look winded the way Denver did. Certainly Joker did yesterday. And then you got the games coming up tonight. Is this a must win for the Celtics? Can both teams have a must win situation except for a game seven? Because then we know it's must win. Timberwolves at the Warriors. The warriors may have blown their best chance to steal one here. Minnesota favored by five and a half. But it's almost like the NBA world reset after the Celtics blew out the Knicks. It's like, okay, all right. That's the way it's supposed to be. And this is a must win situation for the Knicks. Yes, Marvin, I have a hot take. And forgive me, by the way, Marvin was courtside working that Celtics Knicks game. Although I saw you just sitting. You were sitting in a chair about three chairs from Spike Lee pregame. Yeah, it was maybe two hours before the game. So I was just hanging out with an old college friend that works with one of the NBA players. Okay. So I was just catching up and ESPN on their Instagram story, and people were like, marvin, is that you? Oh, no, I promise. I was working before that. I promise. I don't know. And tv, you know this. It wasn't a good look. That's all right. It wasn't a good look. Great look, dude, sitting courtside. My work was done. His work was already done. He got paid and he's sitting courtside. Like, I don't know how much better that look could have gotten. I don't know, three seats down from Spike Lee balling. I need you working. You're pretending to work. Yes. You notice more than anybody, TV is a lot of hurry up and wait. Yeah. But look at what happens around here. There are guys who aren't busy, but they pretend to be busy. There's all weight. There's no hurry up around here. It's all just, ah. Might throw some darts, might eat a cheeseburger. I don't know. Yeah. Yes, Paul. See, Dan, I think you're wrong on this one. This is good for your brand. Marvin, one of your guys is sitting courtside of the Knicks games. Like, look what Dan Patrick's guys are doing. Yeah. Good for the brand. Also. They. If they didn't know that you were there to work. You know, it's like, damn, Marvin got courtside seats. Marvin made it. Well, I was getting some dms. Oh, man. All right, Marv. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no. I see that lanyard says I was with the mothership. Okay, yeah. Promise. I was working. I got there at 6:30 in the morning, so by that time, work was already done. You're just kind of waiting for the game to start. And where did you watch the game from? I was all the way up at the top the bridge. Oh, okay. Yeah, I was up in the rafters. Okay. All right. So I was only there for pregame and halftime with the camera crew. Okay. All right. Did you stay for the whole game? Oh, I had to. Oh, to then do work after the game? Yes. That's a long day. It is. I told you. Saw two minutes of me sitting there. I promise, I was working. Yeah, but you. You had a beer, I think, didn't you? I did not. No such thing. Oh, is that Mark with a Miller Light? He does love his job. All right, let me take a break. Phone calls, as we always do every Monday, best and worst of the weekend. What you saw that you liked, you didn't like. I've just been informed by Fritzy that it's National Limerick Day. Oh, God, no. Now I'm going to take a commercial break. I. Did you already come up with a limerick? I did. I just noticed a few minutes ago someone sent it on X that it's National Limerick Day. So I'm like, why don't we just do a fun limerick? Why can't National Limerick Day be on a Sunday or every day? We're just getting started here. We're back after this on the Dan Patrick Show. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. NBA draft lottery tonight Utah Washington Charlotte 14 chance of winning the lottery 40 years ago tonight I was there when the Knicks won the lottery for Patrick Ewing. Remember covering that with Dave DeBusher, the longtime Nick Great who worked in the front office I believe is the GM of the team president and he was there as their good luck charm. But basketball tonight Celtics at the Knicks with the Celtics giving six and a half and the Timberwolves at the Warriors. Timberwolves favored by five and a half. Maybe the warriors last gasp here and you know the Pacers look really good and they roughed up the Cavalier. They dominated the Cavaliers. And there's nothing you could do when you're the number one seed, but you got guys banged up. You know, this isn't a true representation of the Cavaliers, but, hey, this is who you're playing, and it's not like you get a sympathy card. Nice parting gifts here, but the Pacers up 3 1. Donovan Mitchell twisted his ankle. We don't know the severity of that right now. Our one poll question, Seaton, what did we settle on? Yeah, we got two of them up there right now. Was game three a must win for the Knicks? And is game four a must win for the Knicks? I didn't think game three was a must win. Man. That felt must Winnie to me. I thought if they. They. They were competitive in game three, then that would have been mission accomplished. Like, hey, this was no fluke. We won the first two games in Boston, came back home, and I expected Boston to win that game. Not in the fashion that they did, but I would say yes. Game four must win situation. Yes. Marvin, you. I could hear you groaning over there. I definitely thought game three was a must win. Also. I have a hot take. I don't think the Celtics are going to lose another game until the NBA Finals. So they sweep the Knicks, and then they sweep the Pacers. Yep. And then they go to the NBA Finals. Correct. Wow. Okay. I put a pie on that. Okay. Does anybody want a piece of Marvin? He's got the Celtics not losing another game until the NBA Finals. I'm in. All right, Anybody? Pie to the ball? Yeah. No, no. If you want to. Pie to the balls. Score. Okay. If. If your aim is bad, you're going to get hit in the balls with a pie. You. You know what? Since my face is my money maker, then I might opt for that. Just saying. That's gonna look really, really weird. It is. Yeah. Is it worse for the loser or the winner? I don't know. Then I might just stay with the face. Then we're good. Mitch Kubcheck. Yeah. Yeah. Going home. A lot of explaining to do. Yes, Todd. Should probably be a pecan pie, I would think. Keeping with the nuts theme. I think that's what you. The pie you choose. Okay. Thank you, Todd. Welcome. It's National Limerick Day. Yeah, that's it. Help. Yeah. Okay, you're ready to go with National Limerick Day? Let's do a nick limerick. Since we're just talking about the nicks and must win games, why not? This is a day that honors the birthday of the English author and poet Edward Lear. Charles P. Limerick, who is famous for popularizing the limerick form of poetry as well as the limerick poem itself. And he wrote all those sitcoms in the seventies. Damn you, Edward. See, nobody knows. Like, Norman. No one knows Norman Lear. Like. Yeah, no, no, no. I mean, they. I mean, it's really. It's a. That's a deep dive. And I was still, you know, delivering. You were? Yeah. I stepped on you over. And his name is not Norm. It's. It's. This is Edward Lear, his brother. His brother. He would have had to live for about 200 years if he was the same guy that was writing the 70s sitcoms. Yeah. Thank you, Todd. Okay. All right, go. Some are saying the Knicks are done, although they're up two games to one. But a loss tonight at the Garden may make New York hearts harden. Yes. Dropping two at home won't be fun. There's your next limerick, all right. In honor of Edward Lear's birthday and National Limerick Day. So it's over until next year. Wow. Now I'm applauding your limerick. Felt like you were plotting that we could wait another whole year before we have to hear it out of Limerick is how it felt to me. Yes. Seaton. People on the social media are saying maybe we should be practicing Family Feud instead of doing limericks. Hmm. Since we have a massive competition coming up. That's Friday in Atlanta. Friday in Atlanta. It's a. It's a pretty huge showdown. Maybe we should be preparing for that. I don't know how you prepare for it. You play the game. Okay. Do you have the game? Yeah, I mean, we could. We could put together the game. Paulie doesn't want us practicing. You can't practice for a game show. It's like practicing for an egg toss because you're going to a carnival or something like that. It's just fun. You go in there, you play, you go home. Practicing will make you tense, nervous, and have the opposite effect. Satan. That being said, Paul's not much of a preparation guy. That's right. He's really a let's just wing it and see what happens kind of fella. There's other people. Might be more like, hey, why don't we play it a couple times, get used to, get a couple of reps, see how it feels, get our brain in that sort of quick thinking. Shouldn't this already be prepping us? Quick thinking? What? This is live. This is three hours. Yeah, but it's not really like. Okay, then give me a topic here, but just try it. Just Real quick. You got one, Marvin. You always have. 100 housewives were surveyed. You wish your husband's blank was bigger. Dang bank account. Paycheck. Yeah, I'm gonna give it to you. I'm gonna give it to you. Does that say heart? There has to be one of those questions or answers where Steve Harvey all of a sudden looks at the camera and doesn't say anything. Name a house you never want to be in. Is that a. That's number two. Marvin, your in laws. Sorry, that's a no. Oh, Paul, the doghouse on that list? All right, so far we've got jail house, big house, or dog house. Okay, those are two and three. Dan, do you have an answer? Which house? Which house do you never want to be in? I'm sorry, your time is up. Sorry, your time is up. Okay, yeah. Paul, I don't know if this will work. An outhouse. Outhouse would be last on that list. Sure, okay, I'll take a point. Crazy house. Mental institution. Crazy house. But I already would have cost us. I would have frozen. Yeah, you already blew it. Yeah, see, that's why we have to prepare. This is a skill you have to sharpen. The haunted house is the number one answer. A haunted house. Come on, fellas. Come on, lads. Oh, the Eisen family would have stole that and said haunted house, and then they would have played for money. Name something a baker might call his wife. Paul, what is Honey Bun? Honey Bun is the number one answer. Todd. Sweetie. Sweetie is the number three answer. Damn, Marvin. Sweetie pie. Cutie pie. Cutie pie. Oh, come on, lad. That's a no, Dan. I don't have one, sugar. You don't? You have to have one. I don't. You have to have an answer. See, that's what I'm saying. What about cupcake? What about muffin? What about sugar? What about. Hey, Donut. Hey, you donut. They have doughy on here. And I'm gonna go ahead and say, I don't know that you call your wife Doughey babe. That. That's when Steve Harvey looks at the camera. Name something in a person's closet that only comes out on special occasions. Paul, what is a tuxedo? Yes, number one. It's Jeopardy style. What is it? Marvin. Okay, I'm sorry. That's not right. Dan. Name something in a person's closet that only comes out on special occasions. Skeleton. No, Todd. A tie. No, I'm sorry. Only one person got an appropriate answer there. Everybody else whiffed. If you could go to the land of Oz. What would you ask the wizard for, Dan? A heart. Okay, that is number two. Yes. A brain. A brain is number three. Marvin. Courage. Sorry, not on there. Bag of money. Money is the number one answer. There you go. I don't remember that being an option in a TV show. That one in the movie, was it? Well, you don't have to take something like. You just. If you were going to the wizard, what would you ask them for? That just be heart, courage or brain. Yeah, but the wizard doesn't have anything. Yeah, but you would still ask him for money? You would still ask him for. No. The ability to fly. No, because I would know that he can't grant me those wishes. Name something you might see in a commercial. Oh, we already did that one. Okay. Yeah, we did this one, too. I think we're gonna be terrible. Yeah, I think we are, too, but together. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. What's something you keep in your car just in case? A gun. Wow. That's not on here, but it should be okay. Marvin. Change. Yeah, we'll give that to you. Number one answer. Paul. Flashlight. Oh, man. Will they give you a flashlight? If it's a flare? Probably not. Oh, that's in the flare family. Absolutely in the flare family. No, that is. It is not in the flare. To dubs the Ric Flair family. Keep anything in your car for an emergency. Pretzels, snacks. Snacks could work. Okay. Food. We'll give you food. Yeah, food and water. Sure, sure. Yeah. They have flare, gas cans, spare clothes or shoes, jumper cables, a map, a spare tire, first aid kit. I don't know how to use any of those things. This is going to be bad. Name an occasion for which you might wear your lucky underwear. What is your anniversary? Anniversary is on the list. It's pretty far down, though. But yes, Marvin. Date night. All right. Hot date? Number one answer. Yes, Todd. Okay. Valentine's Day, second to last, but yes. On there. Dan. Birthday. Mmm. I'm sorry, no. Name something you might find in a breakfast buffet. Eggs. Number one. Answer. Marvin. Bacon. Number two. Answer. Paul. Sausage. Number three. Answer. Pancakes. Oh, no. Pancakes. Slash waffles. Pancakes. Waffles. You can't slash waffles. Waffles. You can't slash. Even if you slash the waffles, they're not on there either. Fruit. Yeah, well, melon is on there. We give you melon. The number four answer was potatoes or hash browns. Then juice, coffee. Melon. Cereal. Yogurt. I'm just saying. I'm going to put together a list for later in the week. I think we should Run through this again. Okay, this is going to be bad. Name a. Name a place that. I'll let Seaton play one here. Name a place that always has a long bathroom line. Seaton. Want to go first? Bar. Bar's number three. Answer, Marvin. Sporting event. Number one Answer, Todd. Movie theater. Number four answer. Movie theater. Movie theater. Yeah. Yeah, Good answer. Good answer. Movie theater. So we've done sports venue, bar, club, movie theater so far. A music festival, concert. We'll put that in, Todd. Which once again begs the question that we were concerned about. I don't know if concern is the word. Is this going to be sports themed questions or just generic regular questions about everyday life? I'm guessing it'll be a mix since, you know, it's two sports shows against each other. I'm guessing Hunter in West Virginia. Hi, Hunter. What's on your mind? Thanks for letting me come on the show. First time caller, longtime listener, 65315. I wanted to first of all congratulate you on getting on the Celebrity Family Feud. It's a big accomplishment. And I also wanted to give some advice, especially to Polly over there. After the show today, go out, get a copy of the board game. Get as much practice in as you can between breaks with the board game. I have known people and have friends who have been on game shows, and they say if you play the home game, you'll get a lot of good practice in before you actually get on the show. So keep that in mind. And if you don't win the big money, hey, at least Fritzi will. At least maybe make you go viral on YouTube. Yeah, I'm. That's what I'm hoping for. If we win, great. If we lose in spectacular fashion, entertaining fashion, that's all I'm asking for. We either win or we create great content. All right, phone calls. We'll get to those coming up. Best and worst of the weekend. Also, why are the Eagles opening up with the Dallas Cowboys? Why does the NFL want to open up with Dallas at Philadelphia? There's, you know, obviously this is their home schedule, the other teams. So you have home and home Dallas and the Giants and the Commanders. Who else is on that list? Paul? They could have picked the Bears, the Lions, the Broncos, the LA Rams or the Raiders. Those are the options for the opening day with the at the Eagles. Okay, I have a theory. You put Dallas in there. You can go. It's. Well, Dallas is still somewhat interesting. And let's say they don't perform well. And it's week five, big fan base you can really not screw up the opening night game. Everyone's watching no matter what. So you throw Dallas in there, which may not be a great game in Week 6, 7 or 8. Their thinking, not mine. It feels like Dallas draws no matter what. You tune in to watch them win or you tune in to watch them lose. They're undefeated in game one. But is, is there any other team in the NFL where you tune in to watch them either win or lose? Like you actually tune into a game to watch this team lose a game? Are the Chiefs on that level that now we're tuning in to see? They either win or they lose. I just don't know their national. Not hatred, but maybe just tired of the coverage of the Chiefs. Yes, Marvin. Yeah, you said the words out of my mouth. I think that's it. Yeah, but I, I, maybe the Chiefs are there because. Not a Chiefs as, not as a franchise, just this current iteration of the Chiefs. Did you use iteration? Yeah, with Swifties and all that. I like that. It's very impressive. Yes, Todd. A few years ago I might have said the Patriots, you know, the win or lose, hate them or love them kind of thing. But now they've become something of less of a factor where there's that much passion about it. Yeah, that's why I was asking about. Thank you. Fair enough. Fair enough. 2017, this show or eight years ago would have been great answer. Back in the day, the Steelers. You tuned in. That's another good one. Yeah. Thank you, Todd. Or the 49ers Raiders. Yes, Paulie. I, I think I would have given the opening day game, opening night game. Eagles versus the Washington Commanders. The Commanders are on a cleanup run like no franchise in sports history. Five years ago, they were the one of the most disliked franchises in all of sports because of their owner. They just got the draft. They just got the stadium thing down. But I don't think people disliked them. No. Now they're very popular. No, but I don't think they dislike them. With Daniel Snyder. They just laughed at him. Yeah. Either way, I guess they were. They didn't win enough that I didn't tune in to watch them lose because Daniel Snyder was their owner. But you could have had Jaden Daniels at the opener. Very popular. I like that one better. Dallas is going to draw no matter what. I'm curious, I'm really, really curious about the Commanders this season because they surprised everybody and they won a lot of, I think seven games last possession. It's almost like they were the Texans. The Texans two years ago. Felt. Commander Ish. Yes. Seaton. Yeah, it feels like the Commanders have to have another great year to get that opening game. Love. Yeah, it feels like it's a little early. Like it like if you gave the Lions that first they had one good season, you're like, I get the Lion. Well, wait a minute. Let's see if they're actually good again this year and then we'll give them something like that. Yes. Ton I would have been more excited about Detroit just because of the way things ended and the expectations. The way things just crashed landed. I'm like, how they gonna clean up their act and come right out against the super bowl champs and show them that they're back on track right away. We'll take a break. Our play of the day is up next. In 2020, a group of young women in a tidy suburb of New York City found themselves in an AI fueled nightmare. Someone was posting photos. It was just me naked. Well, not me, but me with someone else's body parts on my body. Parts that looked exactly like my own. I wanted to throw up. I wanted to scream. It happened in Levittown, New York. But reporting the series took us through the darkest corners of the Internet and to the front lines of a global battle against deepfake pornography. This should be illegal, but what is this? This is a story about a technology that's moving faster than the law and about vigilantes trying to stem the tide. I'm Margie Murphy. And I'm Olivia Carville. The driver's seat door was open. No traces of footsteps leaving the vehicle. No belongings were found, except for a cassette tape lodged in the player. On that tape were 10 vile. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Grotesque. Oh my God. Oh my God. Horrific stories that to this day have been kept restricted from the two a horror anthology podcast listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Oh, my God. The play of the day. This is the play of the day. Check this out. Turner with a three to shoot, two to shoot. Oh, my goodness. What is happening here? My, oh my three from the left side. It's 75 to 37. Indiana led 80 to 39 at halftime. The Pacers are the 10th team in playoff history and the second in the past week to score at least 80 points in the first half of a playoff game. That's courtesy Pacers Radio Network Play of the Day brought to you by Mako. Cars could use a little tlc, staying on the road longer and we're holding on to our cars longer. America will probably be introduced to the Pacers. Not reintroduced, but introduced. And maybe reintroduced from last year when they went to the Eastern Conference finals. They're a really good team. They're deep team as well. And of course, the Cavaliers are banged up. Satan. Update the poll results. Get a few more phone calls in here. Was Game 3amust win for the Knicks? Right now, 76% of the audience have that as a yes. Okay. And was game four or is game four a must win for the Knicks? So that's game three, game four, that's got 82% it says yes. Okay. I think it's a must win for both teams tonight because if the Knicks win, they're up three games to one. Now, I. Even when the Celtics lost the first two games, I said I still thought Boston was going to win the series, and I still feel that way. But if the Knicks win this game and they're up three games to one, I think it's a must win for both Golden State. I'd say it's a. I don't think Steph Curry's going to play. I know that they're now talking maybe game six, that he would be available. And even then, if he does come back, if I'm Minnesota, man, I just rough him up, I run him ragged, you know, so I don't know how effective he's going to be. This is a must win situation for Golden State. Let me see. Paul in Iowa. Hi, Paul. What's on your mind today? Oh, man. Two sports in the middle of the playoffs and a starting quarterback retires over the weekend. But if it's National Limerick Day, It's a one guess show, huh? All right, well, taking a shot. I think we had four guests on Friday, but let's just talk about the one. This is, this is our job to give Fritzy Green. I mean we were all thinking it. Paul just said so. I appreciate it. It's quality, not quantity. Thank you, Dan. Thank you, Todd. Yes, Paul. What else is on your mind? Yeah, well, my, my question is about car and the Saints. So Dan, if, if you're the Saints, would you take a Hail Mary shot and call Aaron Rodgers? Because we kind of all know he's just waiting for the schedule to come out to sign with the Steelers so they don't get all the night games. Would you do that or would you call in division to Atlanta and ask about a price for Kirk? I would definitely. I don't know if they would trade him inside the division there. I don't know what you have to give up. I don't know how much of his salary you have to take off. But I had not heard what Paul was saying, that Aaron Rodgers is waiting for the schedule to come out so he's not playing in the these night games. I had not heard that. And if you're Aaron Rodgers, do you want to play for the Steelers? You want to play for the Saints? I love New Orleans, but if I'm trying to win football games, I'm going to Pittsburgh. Yeah. Paulie, The Saints were 5 and 12 last year. They lost their last four. But that division feels more winnable. Yes. Some others. Yes. Can you think of a division? When's the last time you had a division that had the total starts of the quarterbacks? Because these guys don't have experience. Now Baker Mayfield probably has over a hundred starts, but he's, he's got seniority there. But look at, you know, Bryce Young, Michael Penix Jr. III, Spencer Rattler, he's got like six. Bryce Young probably has 20. Marvin. I'm sure the AFC south at one point, sure they had like T.J. yates and somebody like that T.J. yates poll early on Monday, who they have that Savage. Then they have a Savage. Tom Savage. Yeah, yeah, yeah, maybe AFC south probably had a moment where now going into a season, the fewest starts for the starting quarterbacks because the Saints, if they have Spencer Rattler, he's probably got less than 10 starts in his career. And Tyler Shuck may be your starting quarterback man. Yes. Bully. And then the bigger topic that we've been waiting to get to is Derek Carr, a member of the hall of. Very good. Oh, Paulie got blasted this morning. Paulie came in as curator of the museum. Oh. Paulie thought that he had a haul of very good with Derek Carr. And we gave him both barrels. Are we sure he doesn't have a Hall of Very Good? I don't know that he's been moved off that. He is not a Hall of Very Good. He's not. He's a Hall of Good. I don't think he ever won a playoff game. There is no hall of Good. All pretty good. The hall of Very Good, by the bylaws, was built for people who don't belong in the hall of Fame. Step one, Derek Carr is not. He's not a Hall of Fame threatening player in any way. Right? Yeah. Four Pro Bowls, 257 touchdowns and 112 picks. Okay. That ratio was really good. And 40,000 yards. Okay. That's very good, isn't it? But everybody nowadays and all these quarterbacks are going to retire with at least 40,000 yards. Feels like if you're. If you're a starting quarterback for a decade. Yes. Yes. Marvin. Think the hall are very good. Reserve for guys like Steve McNair and Boomer Assian. Maybe Phil Sims. Guys I've had real success that you could point to. Yeah. Like Derek Carr. Veterans Committee. Maybe not first ballot. He's getting in. He's not getting in the hole of very good. Chiseling his bust. He is. He's a very good guy. How's that? That helps the Hall. A very good guy. Three Pro Bowls in his first four seasons. Okay. Yeah. Started out well. Did he have a playoff win? Paul? What's his playoff record? Oh, and one. Okay. But I like how Paulie said that he's not a me first guy. That's why he did, you know. He didn't want to have those gaudy stats like winning pesky playoff games. That's how you end up in the hall of Fame. Wanted no part. He wanted to be first ballot. Hall of Very. He's so very good. His team went six and nine for whatever, you know, he finished everything with a losing record. Yeah. 77 and 92 as a starter. That's not good. That's not good. I'm not so great. Yeah. All pretty good, though. One hour in the books on this Monday. Best and worst of the weekend. More of your phone calls coming up. National Limerick Day. You know. Got it out of the way early with Fritzi. Hour 2 On the way right after this. Why is a soap opera western like Yellowstone so wildly successful?
