Do not wait and go. Ah, it'll pass because this has been hanging for two weeks and you might need a shot or two. Alrighty. 8, 7, 7, 3. DP show email address dp@danpatrick.com Twitter handle it DP Show RG3 will join us a little bit later on. Rick Neuheisel, college football expert for cbs, will stop by as well. Panthers and the Niners coming up tonight. And oh, by the way, moment the Raiders have fired the offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly. You may not have known that he was with the Raiders. He was with Ohio State when they won a national championship and probably tripled his pay going to the Raiders as the offensive coordinator. And he has been fired. Chiefs over the Colts. We wondered, we wondered about the Colts in a big moment. You're up 20 to 9. This is yours. This is your. You're going to do the rest of the NFL a favor. You're going to beat the Chiefs at the Chiefs, and all of a sudden you lose that game. It's a, it's a double whammy, I think, for the Colts because you just don't want to keep the Chiefs alive. You don't. Nobody wants them alive in the afc and you kept them alive. When Mahomes had the ball, I said, they're, they're going to win this game. And that's exactly what he does. Daniel Jones, you kept waiting and then all of a sudden it felt like that offense went stale, went conservative. And the Chiefs, you know, the Chiefs are playing playoff football right now. They have to because they're not a great team. They're not a very good team, but they're an opportunistic team. As long as you have Patrick Mahomes, you have a chance. The receivers are pretty good, defense is pretty good, and you got Andy Reid as well. But the Chiefs could have done the AFC a favor there. Cowboys over the Eagles. That's one of those where you go, wow, that was quick. 21 nothing. But give credit, Dak Prescott. This is what we asked for with the Cowboys. That offense has been elite. All you're looking for is an average defense and you're down 21 nothing. They looked average, below average, and then all of a sudden they made some big stops, they got some turnovers There. And the Eagles, once again, we have questions about them. Got big questions about that team. Here is Brian Schottenheimer talking about Dak Prescott. He's one of a kind man. He really is. Just his leadership, his poise, the way he plays the game, the way he always believes. You know, you talk about when some of your best players are the guys that believe the most and they know that they're going to find a way and help raise the other guys to raise the standard. And we've got a lot of guys like that now. But I know he won't say it, but that's a pretty cool record that he broke. And to do it on a game like this where we beat a really good football team the way we did, I'm sure makes it even sweeter. Yeah, he passes Tony Romo on the all time list, yardage list there with the Dallas Cowboys. But you're watching this and I kept thinking, okay, Saquon Barkley didn't even get to 30 yards, had a fumble. I don't know how much blame you're putting on the quarterback or you're putting on the offensive coordinator, but feels like there's enough blame to go around. You know, all of a sudden A.J. brown scores a touchdown. I go, all right, everybody's going to be happy today. And then all of a sudden, Dallas played playoff football because once again, they're in playoff form or at least mode. You have to win. Now they have a couple other tough games coming up. You got the Chiefs coming up on Thanksgiving, you got the Lions after that. Let's just say they win those games. Now, all of a sudden you got a real conversation here. And that Chiefs game against the Cowboys will be probably one of the top five most watched regular season games in NFL history. Because it's Thanksgiving, it's the Cowboys, it's the Chiefs. I had a couple other games that stood out. The Rams look tremendous, the Buccaneers are banged up and Baker Mayfield may have gotten banged up in the process, but Matthew Stafford, right now, he is a clear favorite for mvp. Bears beat the Steelers. Steelers without Aaron Rodgers there, but Patriots, Lions in overtime. The Packers, Seahawks, Ravens, Browns, Jags, Falcons. As far as the Browns go, you got enough out of Shador Sanders. I think you got almost one of those morale boost. Like you got somebody who's going to come in. He's excited, not afraid to throw the ball downfield. He did okay. He did okay. And it's one of those where he helped the team win. They didn't win in spite of him. But that defense is great. That 10 sacks and this is where we almost look at the opposite of the Dallas Cowboys. If the offense is average with an elite defense, they should be really good. It's just they haven't had the offense. But, you know, he had three big plays and what stood out is going to sound strange. He didn't run, he didn't try to do those crazy. Let me extend a play like I'm, you know, back at Colorado. I think he had one rush for a minus one yard. He didn't have an interception. But I mean, you're playing against the Raiders who aren't very good, but you know, you should win those games. And they did and give credit to him, had a couple of big plays and for the most part that defense was wonderful and because of that you got that victory. Now, as far as who's going to start, I mean, that's going to be the big question for Kevin Stefanski because, yeah, Dylan Gabriel, because of the concussion, wasn't playing. You're not supposed to lose your job because of an injury. But in this case, I want to see a little bit more of Shador Sanders and I think he's earned it. I don't think Dylan Gabriel's done anything. Where you go, yeah, you got to go back to him. You don't. I would let Shador Sanders play again, but I hope that we're just letting him play. Let's not have any stupid hot takes today, okay? He's just a, he's just a quarterback right now. He acted like a fifth round quarterback and he got a chance to play with the first team. They had a game plan that they could give to him for him and they ended up winning that game. They got the Niners coming up next. Maybe we'll see a little bit more and that might be a little bit more good and a little bit more bad. But that goes along with being a rookie quarterback. I don't care if you're the number one overall pick or you're a fifth round pick, you're going to have mistakes. I wanted to see the confidence and he had the confidence because he even said those waiting for me to fail, I'm not going to fail. But if I'm a teammate and if I'm Miles Garrett, you go, you know, we got something here. And maybe they do. I mean, that defense is great. You're going to have the defensive player of the year. You're going to have the defensive rookie of the year. And they hit the quarterback 20 times. They had 10 sacks. It felt like if you didn't get a sack, shame on you. So that game stood out only because this is. This is his moment. His dad's there in the building. You're playing against a team that I thought was going to draft him. And then all of a sudden you hear revisionist history where Antonio Pierce says, well, if I was there, we would have drafted him. Coaches don't make the calls. Especially relatively new coaches don't make the calls on their quarterback. So maybe he wanted Shador Sanders, but he wasn't going to be making the call there. All right, we'll get to your phone calls. Best and worst of the weekend. What we saw that we liked, we didn't like. We play the waiting game for Lane Kiffin. We'll talk to Rick Neuheisel about that situation where depending on the day and the time, Lane Kiffin is staying, he's going to Ole Miss or he's going to LSU and he's going to Florida. I still go back to the documentary I saw on the mothership, and it felt like Lane Kiffin finally found out who Lane Kiffin was. And that is, he was happy at his family there. His ex wife was, you know, in Oxford, Mississippi. His kids were there. And it just felt like he found happiness, peace of mind. But I don't even know if, you know, there's certain head coaches that just don't understand that definition. Sometimes happiness and peace of mind is not being happy and not having peace of mind. It's going to the next job and the next job and the next job. So, yes, you go from this amount of money to that amount of money, you have Ole Miss in. In a historical season, and he's the distraction, and we got to wait until after Friday's game to find out what he's going to do. How can you make an offer to a coach who's under contract at another university? It's like what college football is. I don't think it's a formal offer. It's probably like a verbal. To the agent, I would guess. Okay, but how are you making a offer to the agent? Like, isn't that tampering? I don't think that rule is in place in college football. I don't think they have tampering. Well, once again, somebody should just say, no, you can't talk to my guy after the season. You can talk to my guy. Yes, it does seem like it shouldn't be difficult to have a certain window and set of guidelines where you. Then you can talk to the Coach and you can't talk to the coach. Well, I don't think during a playoff run or you're getting ready to go into the playoffs should be the time when you can talk to a coach. But look, this has been going on with college football for decades and will continue to go on. But Lane Kiffin says he'll make up his mind after they play. Who is that? Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. The Egg bowl, yeah. Paul, the real issue is Jimmy Sexton, the agent. He represents a lot of different college football coaches and players and pro coaches. He's stirring this drink for a two week period so all his clients get placed in bigger roles. He's basically ignoring all conventional rules of time and hiring because it works out for all his clients. Yeah, he's the kingmaker here. And there's going to be a lot of guys feels they're waiting for all of this. It's just a game of dominoes where that one goes, then this one goes, then that one goes. And then all of a sudden you're hopscotching all over the country. And we always go back to the oh, those kids don't have loyalty. You know what they learn from the grownups? Because the grown ups don't have loyalty either. Seaton, what's poll question here in the first hour of the program? Got one here from Marvin. Most surprising division leader. Colts, Broncos, Bears, Patriots. Bears, yeah, Bears. I think they're a good team. I do, I, I, I think you're starting to see maybe a comfort level with coach and quarterback. I think that relationship's going to work out. I know there's been some people in my business who didn't think this was going to work out, which was interesting because you only gave them a couple of games before you make that declaration. This is going to take a little bit of time for Caleb and given what happened to him prior to Ben Johnson coming in, I think he's, he just has to get rid of what he did at USC and understand what you have to do in the NFL. And the more he's able to do that, the more successful he's going to be. And he's got talent there, got a good tight end, couple of good receivers there and you got Ben Johnson helping you along the way. He kind of gives you the answers to the test. But I would say the Bears, you know, the Jaguars are probably the least imposing 7 win team right now because I mean they won again. And then I'm watching the game and I'm like, I still don't know what, you know, Jacksonville has with Trevor Lawrence, like, I'll go, all right. And then I'll go, oh, there's, you know, it felt like there were three or four of those moments where you went, man. And then he went, man, yeah, Seaton, Yeah. I would put the, I would put the Patriots up there too. They were 4 and 13 last year, 10 and 2 this year. Same division as the Bills, who thought they would be down. I don't know that anybody really expected the Dolphins to be this terrible this year, but I think that's a pretty surprising result. Well, I think most people had the Lions going to the super bowl or they had the packers in the playoffs. We thought the Vikings would be a little bit better. Vikings have a problem. Vikings have a J.J. mcCarthy problem. And this is a long term problem because you let these other quarterbacks go. He's only in year two now. Only in year two. But then at what point do you say, is he our future? And I'm watching. You got the best receiver in football. I mean, you have two of the best receivers in football. He just at times looks like he's vanilla. Like there's not much, you know, where he's putting pressure on the defense now. He did have a couple of really good pat throws. He had one throw to Jefferson that was pretty incredible. So, I don't know, you know, once again, embryonic stages of these quarterbacks, rookie quarterbacks or a guy who didn't play much, hasn't played that much. But, you know, you start to look at the other quarterbacks and the development of them, and the Vikings went all in on him. You know, Cousins goes, Danny Dimes goes, Sam Darnold goes. You know, then all of a sudden you're like, he's our guy. But I mean, you're locked in for another year. But you wasted a first round, a high first round pick on him. And it goes back to what I said. When is at. At Michigan, I don't think they ever asked him to win a game. Maybe they didn't need to. He was good in the playoffs. But you know that you're, you're waiting for something there. And he's got talent, got athleticism, you know, he's got all those things, ingredients. And you got a really good head coach, but it feels like they got a problem. All right, we'll take a break. Just getting started. Got our poll question. We'll get to your phone calls. Best and worst of the weekend. What you saw that you liked, you didn't like. Ian Rapaport of NFL Network says the Giants have fired their defensive coordinator Shane Bowen and said that this was a move by interim coach Mike Kafka. I'm surprised they would give an interim head coach the power to be able to fire his defensive coordinator. Keep in mind with the Giants, they've lost five games in which they held a lead in the fourth quarter, most of any NFL team this season. And Jameis Winston was fun yesterday. He looked good. You know, he had a touchdown reception. Kind of did it all for them. But the Giants defense couldn't hold on. Jameer Gibbs was spectacular. He had 219 yards and that's the third most in franchise history since Barry Sanders. The franchise records 237 against the Buccaneers in 1994. 8773 DP show email address dp@danpatrick.com Twitter handle @dpshow Panthers in the 49ers coming up tonight and the Raiders firing offensive coordinator Chip Kelly. So you spend $6 million a year, a three year deal for Chip Kelly and he makes it to week 12 of the season. I wonder what his buyout is and I wonder if he's attractive to other college opportunities that maybe goes back to be a head coach. He left UCLA to be the offensive coordinator at Ohio State goes to the Raiders and that's been a big disappointment. They're averaging 15 points a game. Buddha in San Francisco leads us off on this Monday. Good morning Buddha. Happy Monday boys. Welcome back home Mr. Vegas. Let's go Fritzi. Dan, I'm up here in the Pacific Northwest and having a blast. I would also like to report that my hotel curtains have not been nearly as impressive as Fritzi's hotel curtains were in Vegas. Just saying. But dp, I attended the Oregon USC game on Saturday, which as you know they also hosted a college game day and the campus was excellent. Absolutely bonkers. Which takes me my best of the weekend. Visiting Eugene, Oregon for the first time and experiencing my first taste of. You know, you make me wanna. And I will tell you, hearing 54,000 people collectively singing anything is freaking impressive. I sent Tyler the video. Absolutely epic. I hope you get a chance to watch it then. Atmosphere is awesome and off the stadium and the weather was heroic and I was sorry for my man Gus in la. But that was truly the best of me as Oregon best of USC and worst of the weekend. America taken a double loss yesterday with both Dallas and Kansas City winning in the last second. Field goals. Super annoying. Now we have to listen to all the they're still on the hunt talk and which is like being stuck behind Fritzi in the fast lane. Not good. Thank you Buddha. Fritzi was fascinated by the curtains in his room at the Fontainebleau. Love that technology. Good stuff. So when your wife says what was the highlighting of you going to Las Vegas? And you said the curtains. It was the curtains. And then I got a delivery of like these different flavored macaroons. Came to the nice little note. So I'm just sitting there looking out to the strip and the sphere with my macaroons and my drink and I'm like, this is living Chris and Syracuse. Those people down there are living Chris in Syracuse. Hi Chris. Hey, thanks Dan. Hey, I got the best and worst for you in a comment. Hey, my comment. The last couple months on the Dan Patrick show you guys have had some fun, thought provoking yet very humorous banter spearheaded by Todd Fritz on home team announcers, overreactions and under reactions. And Saturday, with about 5, 6 seconds left in the Notre Dame Syracuse game, Syracuse's third string quarterback, who is actually a lacrosse player, ran it in from about six yards out to give Syracuse its first points. And our hometown play by play guy was so excited. If I had turned on that game just for that last play play, I'd have thought my orange had just got a game winning touchdown instead of pulling within 63 points of the Fighting Irish. And my best, one good thing that's come out of the Tush push is the fake Tush push. I love it. And my worst, Chris Paul announcing his retirement at the conclusion of this, his 21st NBA season. Love watching him play. Always a consummate pro. And Dan maybe the last true point guard we ever have because it seems like now the best pass and distributors are, are all big guys. Yeah, certainly Joker and Joker's numbers are crazy and people keep coming back to Wade doesn't play defense well. If you look at the number of steals that he gets and the number of defensive rebounds, that's part of being a defensive player. Joker gets a crazy amount of steals. I think in the decade he has the most steals, most rebounds and most points of anybody and he does get defensive rebounds as well. But you'll, you know, that'll be the, you know, fallback of well, but he doesn't play defense well. Look at your numbers, do some research and you'll realize he does play defense. It's just not your I'm going to lock you down defense. Yeah, Paulie and Jokic his stats are getting better. He's averaging 30 points, 11 assists, 13 rebounds, almost two steals. And his turnovers are down. And his three point percentage is up to 42%. That's the best of his career. I have MVP odds. Matthew Stafford and Drake May. Looks like it's a two man race now. Stafford minus 2. 15. Drake May is plus 200. Then it's Jonathan Taylor, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes in there. And your super bowl odds. It's okay. Everybody would agree. The Rams, Rams are the best team right now, playing the best offense, defense. Who is second? Second best super bowl odds? Todd? I'm gonna say the Eagles. Eagles would be correct. Who has the third best super bowl odds? Marvin? The Chiefs. You would be correct. I think those are surprising. The next best odds, a tie between the Seahawks in the Colts. You know, the Chiefs, they're. They're just not going away. It's going to be my guess, actually. Oh, it was between those two teams. Yeah, I nailed that. My bad. I should have asked that. That's okay. But Vegas knows the Chiefs aren't going away. That's why they've got them with the third best odds. All you got to do is get in and there's no team in the AFC where you go, oh, they'll definitely be the Chiefs beat them if they're hosting them. Here's Patrick Mahomes. After the win yesterday, this is exactly what we needed to win against a really good football team. And the game's not going your way. You could have folded in that situation and kind of been kind of the rest of the season. The guys responded and then found a way to win on every single unit. I mean offense, we found a way at the end, defense stood tall multiple times to give us chances. And then Harrison and Arizona did a great job flipping the field and making field goals. So we needed a win like this and now it's just trying to build off of it. They had nine points through three quarters, no touchdown passes, and they still end up winning. The Colts did a disservice to themselves and the rest of the afc. Lucas in Texas. Hi, Luke. What's on your mind? Hey, Dan. Good morning. Good morning. Three quick things for you. Number one, I saw this stat last week that just blew my mind. Did you know that in 12 or no, 11 NFL seasons, Derek Henry has just now passed his career high school rushing yard? If you want some fun reading, go look at what Derek Henry did in high school. It's pretty crazy. My best and worst for the weekend. I don't have a worst. My best. I got to take my oldest to his first game. Got to see my AGS beat a real plucky 1 in 10 Hanford team. It was a lot closer than the score indicated and. But no, my last question for you is this week we've got the Colts and the Texans, and I want to revisit a point you guys had from a couple of weeks ago. Y' all said that Texas was number two, Indiana was number one for football. Is that title on the line with a win by my Texans over the Colts this week? Because we would have Tech and A and M, they would have Indiana and Notre Dame, and then the NFL guys could maybe decide it on the field. What do you think? I think it's going to come down to the. The wire here on which state is the best football state if I include NFL, and the Cowboys ended up winning, too. But if I include the NFL and college football as well. The atmosphere at Oregon, the USC Oregon game was great. You had game day there. And I tuned in right at the beginning, and I see McAfee. And McAfee comes in, and when he comes in, he certainly leaves an impression. He's yelling. He's up on the chair. He's got Saban there holding his leg so he doesn't fall off. Dan Lanning is in there. He's on the motorcycle. He's got the Oregon Duck there. Next thing I know, he's got his shirt off. That they actually, actually had to say, hey, why don't you take a breath here? And then McAfee ended up getting his clothes back on, came back over, and they did the show. But atmosphere, it's. It was wild. Yeah, seaton. Yeah. Pat McAfee has really brought, like, a WWE element to game day. That wasn't there previously. I don't know if I need the shirt off. I mean, I'm gonna just say that I don't know what leads you to, you know, go, I gotta take my shirt off now. But there is wwe. I mean, if you're gonna do it, then rip the shirt off, you know, just. Just rip it up. Yeah, I'm fine with that. And put a speedo on and just stand up there. Right? So. Well, that would be bad for Saban with his angle there. Yes. But you can see where Saban's, like. He's trying to get Saban to do a little bit softer now. A little bit softer now. So he's. He's trying to engage Saban with him, and Saban's trying To act like, all right, I'll fit in here. And he's going a little bit something, a little bit something. Now McAfee comes in, man. Yeah, a whole lot of energy. Pete in California. Hi, Pete. What's on your mind? Today I too was in Eugene for the Oregon Duck crushing of usc. So my two best of the weekend is, number one is that the Oregon Ducks who are going to win the national championship this year, crushing the USD Trojans. And number two is the best of the weekend is shutting up all those so called experts on the mothership who all week predicted the UFC crying babies were going to beat the Ducks. And oh, by the way, Buddha, there was 59, 588 at Austin, all seeing shout at the end of the third quarter. So go Ducks. Great atmosphere. Yeah, it was fun game to watch. And USC's got a great recruiting class coming in. I know that there's been speculation on would USC move on from Lincoln Riley. I think the amount of money they got invested, they've had a good season and they got a great recruiting class coming in. And you know, the tricky part sometimes is who's the athletic director and the relationship and did the athletic director hire the coach? You know, those are things that, you know, sometimes play a larger role than you think. And you know, Penn State situation is interesting because, and I'll bring this up to Rick Neuheisel, I don't know if Penn State is having a SEC have second thoughts on firing James Franklin. Now, I'm not saying that he's a great coach, but he was really good for Penn State. It just, he didn't beat top 10 teams. Okay, I understand that we always looked at Penn State and we said, yes, great regular season, but that's about it. But you start to look around and you go, okay, who are they getting? And who's going to be that much better than James Franklin? Can you get Kaylin DeBoer from Alabama? I know everything sounds far fetched, but it's not because we've seen these coaches getting fired during the season. So nothing's far fetched anymore in college football. Nothing. Hey, we're going to get rid of Brian Kelly at LSU. We're going to pay him $50 million. James Franklin, we're going to get rid of him. We'll pay him $50 million. This is, this is college football right now. And Lane Kiffin's going someplace and then who's going there? And then who's going to get the Florida job and who goes to Ole Miss? And everybody's going to get paid. Everybody's going to use this as leverage. But I don't think anything happens with Lincoln Riley, and, you know, he's earned another year. And that recruiting class, he had some questionable calls. Yeah, I'm watching, going, but that's strange. But, you know, they got a good team. They got some playmakers there, but Oregon. Oregon, yeah, they bring it. And. And Dante Moore went kind of toe to toe. I mean, he did pretty well. Got some running backs in there, some defensive plays. But I. That's when I retire. I said this to my wife. I said, you know what? I got an idea what I want to do when I retire. Goes, okay, what? I said, I want to go to all these different college campuses for a football game that I'd never been to. She goes, well, like, with which ones? And I go, well, I'd like to go to Oregon. I'd like to go to Washington. And she's looking at me like, why? I said, just the atmosphere that I. I never got to go to those games, go to a tailgate, actually experience that. And so I don't know if she thought maybe, like, there's something wrong with me when I said, I have my plan now for when I retired, like that first year, that first football season, that might be what I do. Just pick out, like six or seven different places to go and just spend the weekend there and be one of the locals. Yes, Todd, I think that's a great idea. What was she hoping you would say as far as what you'd want to do in retirement? You want to sit on a park bench and play checkers and shuffleboard and feed the pigeons. You got to go out there and enjoy life. Well, thank you, Todd. Nobody enjoys life. Like, you don't sit in a hotel room, Chinese playing, playing with the curtains, eating macaroons, wondering what's going on out on the other side of the glass there? Yes, Paul. So, honey, are we going to Madrid and then Florence and then to London for a month? No, no, no. We're going to Knoxville and then we're going to go to Bloomington. Yeah, that's the plan. Yeah. Well, I've been to Bloomington and I've been to Knoxville, so I would take them off the list. Well, nobody goes to Indiana for the games. When I was growing up. No, even now, I would go for Indiana. Basketball game. That's another thing. You know, I might do kind of a combo platter, maybe. I've been to Kansas. I've been to Fog, Allen, ucla. There's a couple places that I've been to Duke. Been to North Carolina? Yes, Todd, that's what I was gonna ask. Have you been to Duke, North Carolina for basketball on both sides? Well, I've seen a North Carolina game and a Duke game. I haven't seen Duke and North Carolina both sides with that rivalry? Is that what you're asking? Yeah. Have you seen Duke, North Carolina at Duke and Duke, North Carolina at North Carolina. That's something I know I definitely want to see. Okay. Well, are you bringing Todd with you? No. No. Why not? No. You wanna take it over? We'll hang out in the hotel. We'll have a little party in the hotel. I'll order a pizza and we'll pretend we went to the game. There's no party. Put on Law and Order. We'll just watch reruns and have some food. Get stuck in the elevator. Who knows what'll happen? You didn't even go out to dinner with us one night. Well, I was under the weather the first night. The second night, I rallied. I had strep throat and I went out. You did. I'm sure we all appreciated that because strep throat's not contagious or anything. We all sat in close quarters like that. Okay, does anybody feel sick today? Like, aside from the normal sick of something, is everybody healthy? Ish. Okay. Because I would feel bad if you guys caught this, especially over the holidays. Todd, you okay? You tend to come down with something. I'm okay. I had something and it's. There's remnants of it, but I feel a lot better than I did. All right, good. How about we take a break? Good morning, fellas. Thanks for calling me back. Yep. Happy Thanksgiving to all you. I just want to take a minute here and, you know, talk about the most overrated coach in the history of sports, Mike Tomlin. You know, everybody talks about this guy's a great coach, blah, blah, blah. You know, first off, this guy has not won a playoff game since 2016. He's been the coach of the Steelers for 19 years. Of the 19 years, he's only won a playoff game in four of 19 years. Four. So there's not another franchise that would employ this guy for that long. Not. Not only that, again, he's been a coach for 19 years. His coaching tree in 19 years consists of zero coaches. Zero. And before anybody says, you know, well, Bruce Arians. Bill Cower hired Bruce Arians. This guy has made a living off of Bill Cowers. Players, coaches, culture, and eventually Ben Roethlisberger. I just think, you know, among Steeler fans, it's like an underground club. Yeah, we've all been saying this for about 10 years. It's just. It's so stale. It's so tired. And, you know, I think eventually, like, he's a good guy. He's a really good man. I've met him a couple Times, really good guy. I just think it's time. And, you know, at the end of the day, it's time. All right, thank you, Jonathan. I mean, it's not opinion, it's fact. What you're giving the number of playoff appearances, having won a playoff game in almost a decade. But he's never had a bad year. Like, it's not one of those. He's had a down year where you can fire him and the Steelers don't fire their coaches. I mean, when your worst season is 8 and 8. And I thought that this might be his last year, I thought it was him and Aaron Rodgers. Let's try this one time and see if it works. I don't know if. I mean, he would be gobbled up by the Networks as a TV analyst. I mean, he's 54 years of age, and it might be one of those that he does take a break and then maybe goes back into coaching. But it feels like he's not going to get fired. If anything, it would be kind of a mutual parting, if anything. But there is. It's weird how Mike Tomlin is viewed nationally as opposed to locally, because when you talk to Steeler fans, it's not like you get that seal of approval of, that's our guy. It's, you got to get into the playoffs, you got to win a playoff game. Whereas nationally, it's like, man, he's a leader. And you know, his teams, they always. They have a winning record. You know, all same things. Yeah. Marvin. Yeah. What? The thing is with the Steelers, they've never been awful. So that's the thing. We don't even bring him up because they've always 9 and 7, 8 and 8, never lose the season. So we're like, oh, they're great over there. Consistent, like John Harbaugh. Yeah, Paulie. But, you know, the. The management over there should get some critique for not finding a quarterback the past five years because they've really done a poor job. The Kenny Pickett, a bunch of different other players. And how many guys do keep afloat with a bad quarterback situation? You can also make the case he's doing a lot with less at the quarterback position the past four years. He's not making him threatening, but the GM has given him nothing. Shea and Irving taking a victory lap. Hey, Shea. Danny. Okay, what was halftime like at your house? Oh, okay. Here's the worst thing. The roommate got me into some stupid friends giving. So I'm surrounded by normies and dads that want to talk about, you know, golf Swings. Also the crap. And I'm melting down in the middle of the room surrounded by strange kids and not allowed to talk or curse. And I can't be in the same room with them and be careful of that dude. So I'm losing it. And. And then the light starts shining, Danny, and the angel starts singing. And I start wondering, did the Wildcatter himself pull off the greatest personnel moves that I've ever seen? Because we held the Eagles to 63 yards on the ground, Danny. We stopped the run. We ran a balanced offense and actually won the game against a divisional rival. What am I supposed to do with this, Danny? I feel. I feel joy. I feel happiness. I feel hope. You want to admit that Jerry Jones is a genius. I think the deal he did with the devil, Danny. We stopped the run, Danny. We did. It stopped. Well, you were supposed to stop the run with the previous trade. Well, this new well, hell, that's not fair because he had to get this new one done because the last one was incomplete. So he had to get Kenny Clark a good friend. And now the mvp, Kenny Clark is with Q and it's doing much better. So it's going to be a great Thanksgiving, Danny. This time of year, every year I quit taking my meds so I can fire back of the in laws quicker than normal. So, yeah, it's going to be a righteous Thanksgiving. I don't think we need to do that. I think you should stay on your meds. No way, Danny. Okay. No drinking. Yeah, no problem. How about them, Cowboy? All right. Okay. Shane Irving, all excited. Yeah. You watch that? I even text Marvin the rest of the danets. I go, I found myself rooting for the Cowboys just because the Eagles couldn't put them away. And the Cowboys kept coming back and making plays. And I go, I'm actually rooting for the Cowboys. And I thought it would be a better story if the Cowboys won this game, if the Eagles ended up winning at the very end and be like, okay, here we go. They squeak by again, but the Cowboys, they're. They're at least getting your attention. If you're the opposition, they're getting your attention now. And rightfully so. Hour two on the way. RG3 will stop by Rick Neuheisel in the final hour of the program. More of your phone calls. Best and worst to the weekend, right after this.
