Try it@rk0proof.com got a play of the day poll question and a few stats of the day as well as the Patriots squeak by the Broncos in the snow and Seattle holds off the Rams 31:27. You start to look at some of the stats from these games. Like Matthew Stafford, Matthew Stafford's first quarterback in NFL history to lose a playoff game while throwing for at least 350 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, no turnovers. Yeah, we can do it. Today of the day. Stat of the day. Here comes that stat of the day. In fact, the Seahawks Rams, the second in NFL postseason history in which both quarterbacks threw three touchdown passes, zero interceptions. The only other time was the Chiefs and the bills in 2021 divisional round. That's where Josh Allen had four TDs, Mahomes had three. But it's when you complete those passes because when you're over seven on third and fourth down. That came back to haunt the LA Rams. Now there's a lot of questions, you know, with these teams moving forward like Denver, what happens, you know, when they get Bo Nicks back? It's a really young team. We'll talk to Mark Schlerit. The former Bronco now worked for Fox. He was at the game yesterday. Get his thoughts as they move forward. You know, the Rams moving forward, the big question is going to be about Matthew stafford. And Sean McVeigh did not want to hear that question after the game. Sean, do you expect Matthew Stafford to be back next season? Yeah, I mean that's, I mean, if he, if he still wants to play, the hell kind of question is that the answer? Yeah, you have to ask him. We've been totally present. I know that if he wants to, he's still playing at a pretty damn good clip. I mean, he's the MVP of the league, and if he's not, you know, I mean, I got respect for everybody else, but this guy played at a level that's just different. I don't think it's a silly question because Matthew Stafford was asked, and he said, I can't really sum up what's going to happen the next six months in 10 minutes or 10 minutes after a loss. But it's not a silly question. You know, you like to be fair to the situation. You just lost a very tough game. Maybe you can ask it in a softer way and still maybe get an answer that you want. But, yeah, there's big questions here with Matthew Stafford. Unbelievable year, crazy numbers. Does he want to go through it again at age 37? But, yeah, I think it's. It's fair in the moment to ask that. But, you know, you're watching the game and you keep thinking, okay, whenever the Rams would do something, Seattle would answer back, and Puka Nukua showed up in. In a big way. But I don't want America to, you know, all of a sudden go, boy, that. That guy, Jackson, Smith, Najigba is really good. He's great. Now he gets lost in the shuffle, even in his own division, but he is a tremendous player. He's not puking a cool, but. Nobody is, but, boy, he's. He's right there with him on the doorstep, that's for sure. And you saw that yesterday. And Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold played well. Really well. And. And we were talking about this prior to the show, and Fritzi said, you know, can he wipe all of that away if he doesn't play well in the Super Bowl? I don't know, you know how much house credit he has. Because we still go back to what happened with the Vikings that they moved on from him. He's played well. He didn't have to play great the last game, but he played well yesterday. Like, he's a reason why they won the game. Not, hey, defense played really well. No, they had to go toe to toe with the Rams. And I thought Sam Darnold did a wonderful job going toe to toe. Not easy to do when you're going against Matthew Stafford. But here is the final call of the Seahawks winning the NFC title. Shotgun snap to Stafford. Nine seconds left. Stafford looks, fires, ball is caught. Puka Nakua slides out of bounds. No, clock keeps moving. Nakua, we are going to the Super Bowl. Take your helmets off, players. They're breaking the glass next door. Seahawks. And the Seahawks are going back to the Super Bowl. Can you believe it? The fourth super bowl appearance in franchise history. Courtesy of the Seattle Seahawks radio network. Mike McDonald America is the Seahawks head coach and he talked about Sam Darnold's performance. Can't talk about the game without talking about our quarterback. I mean he just shut a lot of people up tonight. So I'm really happy for him. 300 and something yards, three touchdowns, no picks, big. Every time they went and scored again, he came back, made some big time throws on third down. Two minute drive, four minute drive. The guy barely practiced all week. You know, just really happy for him. He deserves it. Just been in a rock for us the whole year, so just really happy for him. And then you had the other game with the Patriots and the Broncos. I thought first team to 21 was going to win that game. The Patriots aren't a dynamic offense, but that defense has been surprisingly great. And then you factor in the snow and granted Denver was really banged up. When you don't have your leading rusher, one of your leading pass receivers and you're going into that game and you got Jared Stidham trying to do his best Bo Nix impersonation and wasn't able to do it. But there was a moment and I think you have to be honest with yourself. What would you have done in the moment when it was a fourth down and it's early and you can kick a field goal and you go up 10 to nothing and you know bad weather is coming. That was in the forecast. So you know that bad weather is showing up at some point. You know, the wind is whipping and I thought kick the field goal, just kick the field goal, it's 10 to nothing and you'll be fine. And I think that was the surprising part of it is it feels like it's a failure if you don't go for it on fourth down and somehow, you know, you come away with a field goal instead of a touchdown. You leave four points out there with a backup quarterback, bad weather coming and you, I don't know how many chances you're going to get against this Patriot defense to get inside the red zone. And I thought, kicked field goal, just kick it, it's 10 nothing. Because the worst case scenario to me is you don't get anything and that takes away the momentum. At least I get three. And it puts even more pressure on the Patriots and Patriots. You know, neither team really had a running game, but here's Sean Payton talking about Going forward on fourth and one, just felt like, man, we had momentum to get up 14. I felt like we had a good call. Where we at yard line was there. Yeah, I think, I think the feeling was, man, let's, let's be aggressive to get up 14. I was just watching the way our defense was playing. I understand it. I don't know if it was analytics. It may have been just gut feeling. It may have just been Sean Payton bravado that we got him. And, and I did say after the fact, look, if they had scored a touchdown, you're up 14, you're probably winning that game. I. So I understood the risk and the reward, but with Bo Nix, okay, I'll run that play. But even then I don't like my backup quarterback rolling right. Therefore he's taken away half the field. And give credit to the Patriots because they weren't fooled at all on that play. But you know, this fourth down analytics, man, it's gone crazy. And I go back to the Detroit Lions would have played in the super bowl, but they were going for it on fourth down. And I know that's what Dan Campbell did the entire regular season. This is the postseason. In the regular season, you live for another day, another week, another game, not now. And I think that came back to haunt them because I wasn't going to ask too much of Jared Stidham. I just wanted him to maintain. You throw one deep pass late and then you come back and try to throw another deep pass in those conditions and he gets picked off. They just weren't threatening on one. Neither team was because the weather was, you know, obviously rough enough that we could even find, you know, Jim Nance is like, I don't know. I don't know where the ball is. I think the 33 yard line. Yes. It's almost like those two big plays that Stidham had, the, the big throw and then the touchdown right after maybe gave the Broncos a sense of false confidence there because those, those two plays were really huge failures by the defense. More than exceptional plays. Broncos defense was great. And I thought that there were moments where Drake May could have been Josh Allen. I was surprised he didn't run more. And I think if they're going to beat Seattle, he's going to have to run probably 10 times because there, there were yards out there for him. And then you find out that last call where he doesn't tell anybody that he's going to take it himself. Here is Drake May on that first down scramble to solidify the game. Yeah, I mean, we were in big personnel, running, running the same deal to the right little stretch play. And, you know, at some point, you know, they get lackadaisical and, you know, got a chance to get around the edge. And I thought he was going to track me and hawk me down, but, you know, got enough to pick up the first and coach raves, probably get mad about, you know, run out of bounds, but at that point, it doesn't matter when you get the first down. So that was, you know, cool moment and cool separate those guys. It's always cool. Finishing victory formation. It's pretty sweet. Yeah, it's an amazing play. And I want to talk to Mark Schlar and he'll join us later on about that. He was a former offensive lineman that, you know, sometimes when you don't tell everybody, you don't have to worry about somebody not, you know, completing what they're supposed to like. You want to give the defense what they think they're seeing and, you know, not where we don't have to block that hard. Oh, we're going to run this, you know, misdirection or fake play, a bootleg, whatever it is you want them doing their job. And Drake May did just that. He had to beat one guy did it. And an incredible call at that moment. Seahawks favored by 4 1/2 against the Patriots and the over under is 45 and a half. The odds on favorite according to DraftKings, your Super Bowl MVP is Sam Darnold, followed by Drake May, then Jackson Smith, Najigba, Kenneth Walker Jr. III. By the way, I have Super bowl odds for 2027. I just got those. The Seahawks and the Rams are co favorites next year, followed closely by the Bills, the Patriots, and then the Eagles, Lions and Ravens are tied after that. All right, we'll get phone calls coming up. Seaton will give us a poll question for the first hour of the program. Mike Golic will stop by as well. What do you have for me, Seon? Well, we have a couple here. We have several from Todd. I don't know how much you want to get into that right now. Well, give me one. We'll get to Todd's because Todd lost a bet with you that the callers are always right. Now if you call in, if you say something negative about Todd or the Broncos, Fritzi has to agree with you. And then add to that. That's terrible. Yeah. You can say like John Elway is probably the most overrated quarterback ever, right? Todd say, absolutely he is. And here's why. Well, Let me go to Chris in Syracuse. Chris will set the table for. This is how it's done today. Best and worst of the weekend, and the caller is always right. Hi, Chris. Hey, thanks, Dan. Yeah, I have a best and worse, and I would like to participate in the caller is always right segment. Best to Sam Darnold coming up big on the big stage. And now he's got an opportunity to exercise those ghosts the old Sam Darnold used to see when he faced the Patriots. And a personal worse for me, Sam Darnold going to the super bowl is a big Minnesota Viking fan. That hurts, Todd. Everyone says that John Elway looks just like Mr. Ed, but don't you think Mr. Ed is much better looking? And also, in the history of rock and roll, has there ever been a more overrated duo than Holland Oates? They suck. Wow. That is a strong start. All right, Todd. You know, there's a teeth thing there with. With John, and I can see some might think that that particular horse, Mr. Ed, may be more handsome. I hate to admit that, but there is a thing there. I think there was an sp where he was called out for that, and John didn't appreciate the. The joke. Yeah. Hall of notes. I don't know what I'm thinking, but if you really take time to really listen and read the lyrics, they're just very weak. It's something you could probably come up with while you're just kind of in the shower in about 5, 10 minutes. You could write some of those songs that ended up being top 40 songs somehow. All right, that's a round of applause for Fritzing. Tough day today for Fritzel. Tough day. Tough day. Dressed for Cancun just like the Broncos are. You didn't watch here in the man cave with us yesterday. You were in your hotel room, you had all your jerseys, you had all your good luck charms, and all alone with your thoughts. And those good luck charms turned out to be not very good luck. Thank you, Todd. Keep your head up. We will. Well, we will. Okay. Okay. I like it. I like it. What did you think on that fourth down call? I thought that they should have. You know, hindsight's 20 20, but in the moment, take the point. It's 10 nothing. You got a backup quarterback. And then once they saw how that play evolved and I was, like, triply sure they should have kicked the field because that wasn't going to do anything. Yeah. There's no guarantee you score a touchdown there. I want to guarantee, and I know there's no guarantee you make field goal. But with that field goal kicker, I'm going to trust him that he's going to make that field goal. Then I come away and it's 10 points. Now I put even more pressure on Drake May, and I've got an unbelievable defense that that tells you everything. It's like, we got 10 points. We can win the game. At least that's what I'm thinking. First team to 21. Well, first team to 14. Yeah. Paulie, do you think that play was analytics or gut? I don't know. I said that earlier. I don't know. With Sean, I'm gonna guess it was probably just bravado. It was probably just gut. We'll get to your phone calls coming up. Best and worst of the weekend. What you saw that you liked, you didn't like. Steelers got a new head coach, Mike McCarthy. I don't know if everybody in Pittsburgh's excited about that. Like Steeler Nation, huh? Why are we going with Mike McCarthy? It's like we need to change the offensive coordinator. Okay, we do that. We need to change the offensive coordinator. We did that. We need to get rid of our head coach. We did that. We need another head coach, not that head coach. Yes. I saw a tweet over the weekend that said going from Mike Tomlin to Mike McCarthy is like crapping your pants and changing your shirt. And I really haven't been able to stop thinking about that. And I envision Mike McCarthy is the one wearing the. Changing his shirt there. Crapping your pants, but changing your shirt. Let's take a break. We're just getting started on this Monday. On June 11, 1998, a deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department went missing. It's an all out manhunt for John Ajay. Every search and rescue team in LA county has been called in to help. Within days, tips started flooding into the sheriff's department. The ruler around the drug scene was that a deputy was taken care of. Is this the story of a man who just got lost in the desert? Best and worst of the weekend. What you saw that you liked, you didn't like. We'll settle on a poll question as well. Mike Golick, Big Michael. Join us. Also, Mark Schlareth, NFL and Fox analyst. He was at the game yesterday in Denver, spending some time with Peyton Manning and some of his former teammates. Okay, let's see now. Once again, caller is always right. Today, this is Todd and Seaton, Broncos Patriots bet. And whatever you say about Todd, anything that Todd likes, Todd has to agree. If you have negative thoughts, yes, Todd, that doesn't mean or nor are we encouraging that every single call over the next two and a half hours has to be that. No, that's just part of the program. It'd be cool if it was, though. Yeah, of course. But like, if I go to Travis in Iowa, I don't know what Travis is going to say. So maybe he has best and worst of the weekend. Or maybe it's just the caller is always right. Hi, Travis. What up, DP? Hey, 58200. First time, long time. I just want to see what Todd has to say about people that are in the left lane being the biggest pass holes on the planet. Wow. We're coming out firing. Yeah, those guys are pains in the ass. It's very rude. And just get out of the way and let people go through, whether they're going 60 or they're going 100. There's no need for you to camp out in the left lane. People got things to do. Move over and stop being a jerk. All right? Sean in Daytona Beach. Hi, Sean. Good morning, Dan and boys. Long time, long time. I've got a best, worst, and a caller's always right. All right, best of the weekend. We fired our handyman after a month of working in the house and trying to hang four doors. Enough time and money, man. Get out of my house. And now I can watch the show unencumbered. Okay, worst of the weekend, watching Fritzi's Broncos fall. We did not have a team in the fight. And toddler, we were pulling for you. But speaking of toddlers, Todd, don't you think the worst way a grown man can show his fandom is by wearing pajama pants in public? Love you, bud. It is a bit immature, and there's got to be other attire. There's many ways that you can show your fandom without looking like you're not. You're three years old, you know, dressed like an adult, Crying out loud. Do we have poll questions? Seaton? We do now. Once again, I was just taking random calls. I didn't know if they were going to do the caller, so I was right. So what are some of the poll questions we're considering? First hour. Here's one from Paul. If I told you in August the Patriots and Seahawks would be in the super bowl, which would have been more unlikely, the Patriots or the Seahawks? Patriots. Yeah. Seahawks are always good. They're always competitive. Patriots, we thought with a experienced coach, but in his first year, in his second year, quarterback, felt like they were one year ahead of schedule. And now I can look and say it seems like they were ahead of schedule, but I. I thought they might be, you know, six, seven win team, didn't think they were going to go to the Super Bowl. Super Bowl. What else do we have? It's a Super Bowl. Let's go. Do you look at getting a field goal in the red zone as adding 3 points or losing 4? But I'm old school. I don't buy into analytics because analytics doesn't tell you, okay, we're facing that defense. We have a backup quarterback. I don't have my running back. I don't have one of my best receivers. That's. Analytics can say, hey, you're fourth down and one, and you're at this. This yard line. Okay? I have to factor in everything here. Factor in. It's a playoff game. I got a backup quarterback. I'm playing against a really good defense, and I think Sean Payton. I don't know if Sean's an analytical guy, an analytics guy, but that one felt like that was just, hey, I feel good about us. I feel good about up our offensive line. Maybe in the moment you get caught up in bravado, which wouldn't be surprising with Sean Payton. Yes, Todd. And then there's the whole going for two, when is too early to go for two. There are teams that, like in the second quarter, they're trying to calculate ahead of time what's going to be two, two and a half quarters from now. We better get the two. And that's just way too soon sometimes that they're going for two and not taking the extra point. Yeah. But back to what we were talking about going forward on fourth down, there seem to be coaches that love it, that say that's what you're supposed to do. And, and maybe the analytics, you know, prove that. The analytics show, hey, you swing really hard and try to hit home runs, nothing else matters. I still don't buy into that, but that's the analytics. And maybe I'm going kicking and screaming into the future here, but in that moment with that quarterback against that defense, I gotta come away with points because there was no guarantee, oh, we got a first down, we're gonna score a touchdown. And I think that's what's. It's lost on people. You weren't. There's no guarantee you're scoring a touchdown, and I know there's no guarantee you're gonna kick a field goal, but you got a great field goal kicker. Get three. If you think your defense is that good, get three. Yeah, Paul, I went back and looked at the play after the third down. Sean Payton actually calls timeout. So they took their time to think about it. I'm curious how many people were in his ear or not in his ear to make the decision? Yes, Todd, it's also way too early to decide that the difference between 10 nothing and 14 nothing is you're heading to the Super Bowl. You know, this is not a third or fourth quarter play. It's that early in the game, 14 nothing would have been great. But even if it worked out and they got into the end zone, that doesn't knock New England out of the game that early at 14 nothing either. Well, keep this in mind that we talked about. The Broncos defense, Seattle's defense, the patriots, they're averaging 18 points per game in the playoffs. They're not going to score a lot of points, but they're giving up 16 points. So it's going to be a tight game. They've been great. That defense has been underrated, but they're averaging 18 points in the playoffs, fewest by any team to reach the super bowl since the 1979. Ramsay. This is the start of the day. And I know Sean McVeigh didn't want to talk about it. Matthew Stafford didn't want to talk about it. But you do have to look at his future. His numbers were incredible this year. If you include the postseason. And he stayed healthy. More importantly, he stayed healthy. Does he want to do it again? Does he look around and go, why would I walk away from Pukinakua? Sean McVeigh, you know, the secondary needs to be better, but you got running backs. Just. I don't know. That would be a tough one to walk away from. Yeah, Seaton, it doesn't. I haven't looked into this at all, so I don't have the numbers or anything, but it feels like Matthew Stafford might be one of the most let down quarterbacks in football history, where he plays awesome. He's got three touchdowns, 400 yards, no picks. Yeah. Every pass is like 10 yards. Plus he's just absolutely playing crazy. And his defense gives up 45 points or something like that. Like their special teams gives up somewhere. He plays really well. But the rest, the other phases of the game really let the team down. And that's how he gets knocked out of the playoffs. Yeah. When you're throwing for 350 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers and you lose, that doesn't happen. What the hell else am I supposed to do? Yeah, Paul. Yeah, that. The stats bear that out. In 13 playoff games in his career, 25 touchdowns, seven picks, his quarterback rating is five points higher in the postseason than the regular season. Yeah, that's tough, man. That's got to be like. Like, what the hell, man, you know? Chris in Arizona. Good morning, Chris. What's on your mind? Hey, Dan. And Dan. Ed. Good morning. First time, long time. 5, 9, 1, 70. I just want to bring up, I was talking to my buddies that if some champagne had gone or would have kicked the field goal and it was 10, 10 and everything stayed the same. When would that game have ever ended? We were thinking it'll probably gone to two, three overtimes because nobody could have scored in that blizzard. It probably could have ended at the same time as the NFC championship game. Yeah, I was waiting for something. You know, when people say, oh, man, the snow. It looks great on tv. I still want to see quality football. And you weren't able to see that. You know, the. The one quality play was Drake May with the bootleg because, you know, the Stidham pass. That wasn't a hard interception for Gonzalez. You just. You weren't seeing anything. And the defense played, you know, really well, but you weren't. Guys were slipping. You weren't throwing the ball. You couldn't even see what was going on. I thought Tony Romo made a great point. The Patriots. Sorry. Wow. My mic is on. Yes, it is. He talked about the Patriots in white uniforms. And if you're Drake May trying to see your players if you're going to throw a pass. But then he also said on defense, Jared Stidham can't see them because they're blending into the snow. I thought that that was interesting right away. I want to be fair to Jim and Tony. I don't remember them saying game. We have bad weather coming in and maybe in the pregame, but with something like that, we should have been given a heads up that. Because that factors into your game plan. Now my strategy is let's get 10 points. Who knows when this snow is coming? And like, you know, let's. Let's put pressure on them. So that was the only thing I thought is if you know it's coming, then get all the points you can as quickly as you can. And. And these are the. You know, that was like, field goal was a gift. Here it is, here's three. But they decide to go. And I get it because. And. And maybe this was said on the broadcast, if they get 14, the game might be over. Now, as we see the end result, the score, it would have been. Yeah, Paul, There was a point in the fourth quarter where you couldn't see any of the yard markers and you couldn't see like, the 40, the 30, the 20. CBS put in overlay graphics of the 40, the 30 and the 20, and they were huge. Like, their font size was like 3 higher. And it was actually covering up some of the players that were out at wide receiver. Like, where's K. Sean Booty? Oh, he's under the 40 marker. Under the 40 marker. You couldn't see him. Gus in LA. Good morning, Gus. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Mr. Patrick. Hope you and the boys had a great weekend. Oh, my God, man, what a weekend. What a fun weekend. Except for Steeler fans. Best of the weekend, my boy, Sam Darnold. I feel like he's been vindicated, you know? You know, everybody made fun of him. Oh, my God, I'm seeing ghosts. I'm seeing ghosts. He ends up as like a backup in Carolina. Backup. And then all of a sudden, boom, he Started in the Super Bowl. What a redemption for him. I'm so happy for him. Worst of the weekend, my Steelers don't know what the hell they're doing. We traded one Mike who made an appearance in the 2011 Super bowl for another Mike that made an appearance in the 2011 Super Bowl. I don't get the hire. Not very characteristic of us. I'm hoping that I regret this conversation one day. And we're hosting the Lombardi soon enough. And Fritzi, I was gonna leave you alone, but. But I got a question. Who's more overrated? The Denver's Bronco organization or hall and Oates? Who's. I think they're both equally, equally horribly underrated. We're actually overrated because that's Holland Oats not getting it done. I don't know why I ever liked them in the first place. And the Broncos is just, just a disaster. I continue to root for a team that continues to. Let me apologize for hall and Oats catching so many strays today. Yeah, it's all right. Yeah, the Mike McCarthy hire. I'm okay with it. I know that we're looking for a 35 year old defensive coordinator and you're going to plug him in for the next 20 years. I get that. Mike McCarthy as is great at developing quarterbacks and if you're going to, you have to get a quarterback at some point who's under the age of 40. Now, I don't know if Aaron Rodgers wants to play for Mike McCarthy. If Mike McCarthy wants Aaron Rodgers, that's an interesting reunion. But Mike McCarthy has done a great job with quarterbacks that Alex Smith in San Francisco, he developed Aaron Rodgers, he developed Dak Prescott had three of the best years of his career in Dallas. It's just Mike at his age and we go, well, how long is he going to do it? Is he going to be there? Is there going to be a rebuild? I'm okay with Mike McCarthy unless you say, boy, we got like. I don't, I don't want to bring a young coach in. I don't want to have a first year coach, first year quarterback situation. And if I have McCarthy in there, I feel better about him developing somebody. But I don't know if it's going to happen anytime soon. Johnny in Pittsburgh. Hi, Johnny Danets, six three, husky 260. I have a best and the worst and I have a caller's always right for pod. Yep. Thank you. I don't know if I'm gonna be as good as Chris. I mean, that dude's a man eater. So I will say, you know, I can't go for that. So I. Whoa, whoa. So I will say this. You know, McCarthy, Iowa, was not popular in Pittsburgh, but my buddy did say. This is a question for you, Fritzi, That Dan Reeves could not hold Mike McCarthy's jock strap as a coach. So thank you, Johnny. Todd, in the moment, I loved Dan Reeves. But now that you make a good point, now that I look back on it, it's like, those are some hugely embarrassing Super Bowls. Just when you lose 39, 20, then it's 42 10. Then it's 55 10. Figure it out. Noah in New York. I know a what up, dp? Hey, bud. All right. I just have three callers always right for Todd. I do have to say I'm more excited for these than I was to invite you to my wedding. And I just want Todd to repeat after me. One, My bagel order is not that important. My bagel order is not that important. My jokes are not funnier when I repeat them over and over. My jokes are not funnier when I repeat them over and over. And it's extremely creepy to follow women home in their cars. It's extremely creepy to follow women home in their cars. I should probably stop doing that. Thank you, Noah. Thank you. I only do that when I see some personalized plate that says like, hot babe, which happens in la. Can't do that. And then I pulled up next to them, and it was just some old lady sitting on my of, well, phone books. Imagine how disappointed she was when she saw you. There is equal, equal dissatisfaction in that whole exchange. All right, how about we take a break? Once again, the caller is always right, especially today. Best and worst of the weekend update the poll results as well. Back after this with our play of the day. Fox sports radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Lines and Tines with Spencer Graves on the iHeartRadio app is a podcast designed for hunters and fishermen to enjoy success. I like the idea of like, hey, put me on a big deer. You know, hey, there's a big deer out here. He's doing this. Be looking for this deer. But I also love doing it on my own. I love going out there and saying, running my cameras. I love patterning the deer. I like showing up at the right time, checking the wind, knowing what stand I need to be in. And then whenever it all comes together and it happens, that's the most sad, satisfying thing ever. So when you do it on your own, it's like, I then can hang my hat. But if I had somebody say, hey, pull up on these dots and catch them right here and you're gonna win. And then when I go in, it's like, yeah, it's cool, I won the tournament. The ultimate goal is done. But it's like, dude, when you find them and you make them bite, that's the puzzle. I love it. Listen to Lines and Tines with Spencer Graves on the iHeartRadio app, Apple pieces, podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. Oh, my God. The play of the day. This is the play of the day. Check this out. Sam Darnold now goes under center with Walker behind him. Light outs to both sides. Play fake. Darnold looks. Now he's going to throw back to the end zone. It's called touchdown Seahawks. Jake Bomo might have been the third guy in the progression, but he lines up left side, gets under the goal post and Sam just throws a rope. A 17 yarder and the Seahawks extend their lead courtesy of the Seahawks radio network. The Bobo touchdown came right after that muffed punt by the Rams. That's your play of the day. Hi, Eddie. What's on your mind today? Morning. BP 591 4. Hey. So I just decided I'm running for judge, and all my buddies said that Todd was going to promote my campaign on social media. I couldn't believe it. But am I right about that? That's exactly right, Eddie. I'm going to be. As soon as the show's over, I'm going to. You're going to think I'm your campaign manager. With the amount of tweets and things I'm going to put on Facebook, you're going to win by a landslide, hopefully. All right. I got nothing else to do but to help you get to your position. Thank you. Thank you, Eddie. Helping Eddie become a judge. I like it. All about Eddie. And he deserves to be a judge. He should have been a judge a few years ago. He got screwed over. 2018 draft. Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Lamar Jackson. Sam Darnold is the first out of that group to make it to the Super Bowl. Now, you would have thought Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, certainly not Josh Rosen, but then Baker Mayfield, but Sam Darnold. You know, it takes a while to remove the. The jets stink from you when you leave the jets, certainly as a quarterback and is going to be America's darling on Super Bowl Sunday, because this will be the story. And they'll probably do one where your wife, your kids, you know, your mom, your grandparents go, oh, I'm rooting for. Well, you're going to have a lot of people not rooting for the Patriots. That's. There'll be a lot of people rooting for Seattle. I. I'm curious, if you look at the map, how many states will be pro Seattle for this Super Bowl? And they'll come up with this by the end of the week? Probably, but I would say maybe 45, 46 states probably would be rooting for Seattle. Slash, against the Patriots. Robert Kraft's not in the hall of Fame yet. Right. Why isn't he in the hall of Fame? And I know Jerry Jones helped grow the sport. So did Robert Kraft. Instrumental TV deals. I would look at what. And here he is going back to a Super Bowl. Yes. Todd, in an honest moment, is Tom Brady thrilled about this or like they did, they, you know, get back on track way too fast. I don't know from an ego standpoint, it's like I thought it was gonna be many years before New England would come after me. They're not going to get anywhere near super bowl for a while. Yeah, but he had, what, four or five years where nothing happened. I think if Tampa Bay had turned around and all of a sudden gone to the super bowl, that might be a little bit different. Yes. You know, I know we keep banging on the jets because it is kind of hilarious, but not to. Just in case the Giants are feeling left out, either Drew Locke or Tommy DeVito is about to get a Super bowl ring, too. So. That'd be a great showdown between those two in a Super Bowl. Yeah. Paul, I think Brady loves this. This is going to be a two week reminder of his greatness and his run. It's played in his hometown. He had a very good Sunday on tv. He's loving this, You know, is not going to enjoy this is maybe the Vikings you could put in there Pete Carroll, because this is the rematch. Russell Wilson's not. This isn't good for Russell Wilson because you have a rematch of the Patriots in Seattle. Now, how many, like, how many Seahawks fans you think, hey, coach, run the ball, huh? Yeah, right, Coach. Hey, get to the end zone. We're running it right? Yeah, you get to the like, three yard. We're running it right. Kenneth Walker, the third. Yes. Todd. How was the genius feeling today? And it was all about Brady and Belichick and who's better? Like, Mike Rabel comes in and here we are. You're right about that. I would say Belichick takes more of a hit. Tom doesn't take a hit. Blake in New Orleans. Hi, Blake. What's on your mind? Hey, good morning. I know that we have the super bowl team set, but there's been this lingering controversy about the halftime show. Bad Bunny. And I propose a true American legend coming in at the last minute to save the show. And I propose Bruce Springsteen. What do you think about that, Todd? That's a genius move. I think Bad Bunny is very overweight anyway, but that's besides the point. But the Boss, for him to go there on stage, halftime. Millions and millions of people watching here. All right, who would want anything other than that for your halftime. Thank you, Todd. Thank you. Bruce has already done the halftime show, though. Can't get enough Bruce. I remember when I went to the rehearsal and they had like a crowd that came there. That they were going to be part of the crowd. So they, you know, they were all kind of acting like, hey, we're at the halftime show and Bruce is doing songs. And I'm trying to take pictures because I'm thinking I'm watching Springsteen here up close. And we were carrying the super bowl, and I thought I should be able to go over there and watch Springsteen. And I got busted three times trying to take a picture of Springsteen. And I'm like, hey, no pictures. I'd be like, oh, all right. Come on now. What are you doing? Come on down. Stop that. Stop that. So if Springsteen was singing to me to stop taking photos, no photos now. I can do that anymore. Get up. One hour in the books on this Monday. Put your phone away. Mike Golick Jr. Senior the third is going to join us. Coming up next hour, more of your phone calls as well. Best and worst of the weekend. And for today only, the caller is always right.
