The combine is underway and it happens every single year where there's one player where we go, oh my goodness. And that player is Sunny Stiles, who is going to be a top 10 pick. But he may have moved up even a little bit higher than that. He was a former safety at Ohio state and now he is a linebacker. His dad played in college in the NFL, but he put up some pretty impressive numbers for a guy who weighs almost 250 pounds running a 44 40. His vertical is 43 and a half. So I don't know how important that is unless you're trying to block a field goal. But you know, we love these measurables. Now. I don't know what his arm length is. By the way, we did measure our arms yesterday. We'll reveal that in the final hour of the program, AKA Armageddon. Oh, all right, Todd, that's a good one. Armageddon. That should be the title. It's interesting that all of the danets were talking about watching the combine and almost feeling like they were doing something dirty. Marvin goes, I got caught watching the combine. I go, wait, that's part of your job, getting caught? What does that mean? You got caught watching the combine? Yeah, it was real awkward. I'm in the living room, my wife comes down the stairs like, what are you watching? And I was like, I turned around. Oh, I'm sorry. And then she just looks at me, she goes, boy, the NFL has a chokehold on you guys. Yes, that is true. Yes, Todd. I've been caught by the wife for other reasons, but I'm glad he had the cleaner combine version. They just need to combine the two. Maybe that's a new business. What? I'm done. Combine dot com. Honey, what's the big deal? That would be entertaining. Sounds like a dating site. Let's come. Big deal. Let's combine. Combine. I'm looking at players. Yeah. Swipe right. All right. 877 3DP. Show he's got oily hips. Yeah. Show me that shuffle cone drill waste bender. Daniel Jeremiah will join us on loan from NFL Network and he's been revealing arm length. And we'll talk to him as we lead up to the draft in Pittsburgh. And yes, we will take the show to Pittsburgh for three days for the draft in April. Robert Ori Oreo, seven time NBA champ. He'll join us coming up as well. All right, poll question for the first hour of the program is going to be what Seaton. It might have to be combine related if that's a dirty habit or not. Good grief. Okay. I think that that's really funny though. Yeah. Why is it though that when you watch the combine it does feel like, man, I'm really diving deep into this. Yeah. It is fascinating that we'll watch this because I do, I do tend to watch it every year. Like I watched yesterday was offensive lineman, I want to say, and it was fascinating. Like the dude's going around a cone, his foot slips out, he drops down to a knees. You know that that kid is crushed right now. His parents are watching. They're like, oh no, you should have worn the other cleats. That's going to drop him to the fifth round. That's tough, man. Get ready for this. Because there's only one legitimate quarterback, first round quarterback, that's Fernando Mendoza. But you will get an onslaught of publicity for Ty Simpson, the Alabama quarterback. Happens every year where we will, you gotta have something to talk about. And you're going to have them build people up and then you're going to have them tear people down. And then somewhere in between is where they're going to end up as we go into the draft. But I think Ty Simpson from Alabama will get a lot more love than he's getting right now because we're trying to, you know, bolster that first. You know, when you think of the draft, man, we were so spoiled a couple of years ago. We got all these quarterbacks and that's what this is about. You know, when. And I've gone to these drafts before where you get a fan base there and all of a sudden they're on the clock and then all of a sudden they say, and the Buffalo Bills take, you know, Jimmy lipper, offensive guard, NC State. And they're like, yeah. And they have no idea who they're getting. All you want to know is, do we got a skill position guy? Are we going to get an edge rusher here? That's all that you. You care about? Yes. Marvin. Yeah, I've. I've worked the NFL draft and I've been to one. We went to one in Green Bay. And the fan base, when you draft a skill position guy, a quarterback, a running back, wide receiver. All right, let's go, let's go. And then this offensive tackle or offensive guard or D tackle. All right. Okay. We need. Okay. Strengthen up the line. All right. Okay. Yeah, but that's how you win in the NFL is the offensive line and defensive line. But we're. So. It's just like the Raiders might be committing malpractice by drafting Fernando Mendoza and not a good offensive line. You draft Aston Gente and you don't have a good offensive line. Hopefully he gets an opportunity to ease into the quarterbacking position, because I don't want him starting week one. Even if he's ready to start week one, he's not going to be ready to start. And I hope that they give him an opportunity where, hey, let's bolster the offensive line and give him a chance. Because if not, then you're going to have a similar situation to what you had last year with the Raiders when they had one of the worst offensive lines in football. Yes. Do they have the ability to fix both sometime between now and the start of the next season? Well, let me see what you do in the draft. If, if. Or you're going to be able to sign players. But yes, you got to have an offensive line, but didn't you need one for the superstar running back that you just took? Yes. And that's. I don't know if. I don't know if Ashton Genty is going to be a great running back. I don't know if he's going to be a Jameer Gibbs kind of player. I mean, he was fascinating in college, but this, this is the NFL and I think this will be a big year for him. Coming up to see are you able to rely on him? And there were times when he had. I mean, he had moments, but still, you gotta have an offensive line. And those teams that do you protect your quarterback. And I mean, New England was able to go to the Super Bowl. They went out and bolstered their offensive line. Now, granted that offensive Line didn't look good in the playoffs and certainly the super bowl, but they gave Drake May a chance. And same thing with the Bears, with Caleb Williams. I kept saying, you got to get an offensive line. And they went out and signed three offensive linemen. If you're going to have a great quarterback or the potential for a great quarterback, don't try to fool anybody because you won't. You got to have an offensive line. But I hope Fernando Mendoza and you might get some comparisons. Now, Dan Orlovsky even said this yesterday from the Mothership that Ty Simpson makes some plays and he, he was kind of comparing him with Fernando Mendoza and leaning towards Ty Simpson as this guy's got a lot of talent there. Now the Mothership is trying to sell the draft too and everybody else who's going to be, you know, covering the NFL draft, presenting the NFL draft, but you will get Ty Simpson love coming up. And when I watched him against now last year before the season started, nobody was talking about Ty Simpson. Now they were talking about this quarterback draft. So you had a couple of players, you know, Cade Clubnik, Nussmeier from lsu Arch may be coming out. So you had quarterbacks. And this was going to be, oh man, you gotta, you gotta get ready for this quarterback draft. Drew allergic. Now Aller might be a guy who ends up like one of those second day picks who could turn out to be an NFL quarterback. He got hurt with Penn State, but there were probably five to seven quarterbacks where we're like, man, you got to position yourself. No one was talking about Fernando Mendoza. He came out of nowhere and had a magical season, obviously, but that's how quickly it happens. Oh, indie Indiana got a quarterback from Cal. Nothing to see here. But there was. And that's why I go back to what Kirk Herb street said preseason. He said, keep an eye on Fernando Mendoza in Indiana. And Herbie was the only guy I heard say that. That made it feel like maybe there's something there. Building off the previous year with Indiana, it's tricky with these quarterbacks and there's going to be two or three quarterbacks out of nowhere for this upcoming season. In college football, it happens all the time. But Nussmeier and Klubnick, I don't know if they're NFL quarterbacks, they look like it. Remember Carson Beck? He was going to be a first round draft pick. And I went, we're watching a different game because I don't think he's a first round draft pick. But you know, he might be one of those Guys who gets a chance to be a backup quarterback. Yeah, Paulie. It doesn't happen that often, but every couple years, there's just a Wasteland at quarterback. 2024, six quarterbacks taken in the first 12 picks of the draft. If you go back to 2022, it was a little down. Kenny Pickett was the first pick, and he didn't go to 20. Then you had Desmond Ritter. Not a lot of juice in that draft, but the year before, you had Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones. Even Kyle Trask was interesting. And that was a juicy quarterback draft, but it alternates. Yeah. And only one of them panned out with Trevor Lawrence. I. I would love to see Mac Jones get another opportunity because I think he was done wrong by the Patriots. Imagine your offensive coordinator is a defensive coordinator. You go to the playoffs and it. I mean, they didn't have weapons, and it felt like Mac Jones didn't get the credit, but he certainly got the blame. And then he got kicked to the curb and, you know, bounced around a little bit. And now all of a sudden, you go to San Francisco and you saw that when he played. I mean, he can play. He can be a starting quarterback. I think it's like Malik Willis. Same thing with Tennessee, where I thought he had a lot of talent. Seemed like they moved on from him quickly. Oh, man, we got to draft Will Levis. I'm like, okay. And then they moved on quickly from him. Yeah, Paulie Dan. I'm currently nerding out on quarterbacks drafted by year. Remember 2011. Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbard, Christian Ponder, Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick, Ryan Mallet. That's a lot of names. Yeah, but not a lot of good names. But people love Jake Locker. Until he got. I did. I did. You weren't alone. I thought, man, Jake Locker. Athletic, played it. U Dub. And then I realized that he couldn't complete those passes over the middle. Ryan Mallet was going to be a big deal because he was Michigan and then he transferred to Arkansas. Yeah. Cam was obviously great. Who else was in that draft? Who else was in it? Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder, Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick. I love Dalton, and I think he went first. First pick, second round at tcu. That's right. When he played in the Rose bowl against Wisconsin, wasn't it against J.J. watt? J.J. watt. Of course. I knew it. And I thought. I thought Andy Dalton played an unbelievably intelligent game. And I thought, man, he's, you know, Red rifle tall Guy, he got some movement there. And I thought, man, he's a good pickup. And he. And he turned out to be a pretty good pro, I would say, right? A decent pro, nice career. But that's just, you know, it's who you go to and when you go to that team and what is the infrastructure. So you can be a great talent. Actually, you can be a better than average talent, but be on a team and they'll make you even better. You'll look even better. I think, like, Jalen hurts, that team makes him look better. I think a standalone Jalen hurts. I don't think that he stands out as a great quarterback, but he's great with what the Eagles do and probably another super bowl appearance. He's a Hall of Famer. He might be a Hall of Famer now. He's not MVP regular season. But, you know, the way this goes now, you win a couple of Super Bowls, you got a chance to be a Hall of Famer. Yeah. Paulie, here's another draft for you. 04. Oh. Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, taken in the first 11 picks, and a guy you and I loved, JP Lawsman of Tulane to the Bills. We were well on that band. That was almost an era right there. That was almost an era. No, we gotta. Okay. We love JP Lossman because we love two lanes uniforms. That's right. We love their helmets. And him. Yeah. Yeah. Did he go to Buffalo? Sure did. Yeah. He lost me. He didn't surround him with talent. Yeah. Buffalo had a few picks there where it was like, man, if one of these hits, they're really going to be good. And then they finally got Josh. Who is the Johnson. Who was the. Rob Johnson? Rob Johnson. Oh, the fumbling machine. Was he Buffalo? Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Marvin. E.J. manuel also. Yeah. Oh, he was the first quarterback taken by the Bills in that year. Well, when we had him on pre draft, he was unbelievable. Unbelievable. We were like, I want him on my team. Yeah. I don't know how good he is, but I want him on my team. Yeah. Paulie. The 2013 QB draft, E.J. manuel out of Florida State to the Bills at 16. Then everyone else was second, third and fourth round. Geno Smith, Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley of USC. Dang. Matthew. Yeah. He thought Matt was going to be a thing there. Yes. Marvin. Geno Smith, Septisman winner. Yeah. Yes. He was. He was the greatest quarterback that ever lived up until October of that year. Yeah. His September was. He. He won the Heisman. Was Ryan Fitzpatrick a September. Big September mvp. Except Tom. September. September. September. Okay. All right. I don't know what we just accomplished, but it was fun. Let's take a break here on this meet Friday. When we come back, grades are handed out. And I always was nervous when grades were handed out when I was in school. And some of these teams should be nervous as well, or embarrassed. We'll have that for you coming up. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. The Justice Department through, I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims. Now, last year you could go to the NFL Players association and you could go on their website, click on this. And the players for these teams would be grading an A through an F. It could be team facilities, it could be the playing surface, it could be travel, it could be the weight room. They gave grades on every ownership gave grades on all of these teams. And so the last three years this was available at the NFL Player association website. You just clicked on it. Well, this year it's not up there because the NFL, these owners didn't want to be embarrassed publicly. And now it's been leaked and now we have some of these grades, like the Pittsburgh Steelers treatment of families. F. I mean, I'm guessing tickets, accommodations. Do you have nice food and drink in a green room? Ah, home game field, F minus. Locker room, F minus. Team travel, F, team ownership, D minus. Wow. If this is the Steelers, the great organization, one of the blue bloods here. Damn. Yeah, Paulie. They embrace tradition. So the locker room looks like 1955. And then apparently they have five bathroom stalls for the entire team. And this is why they got an F minus grade. I would never be able to play for this. No, you could not trade me at once. The Bengals treatment of families, F minus. Nutrition, F team ownership, D plus, food and dining area, F minus. Home field, D minus. The Browns, their locker room and F team travel. A D treatment of families, D minus. The Cardinals, team ownership, F. The Giants and Jets. And the least surprising grade, their home field. And F minus, the worst playing surface in the NFL, the Broncos. They got an A in the following categories. Home field, training room, training, staff, food and dining, strength, coaches, team travel, GM and team ownership. That's how you do it. And they're winning. The Lions, nothing lower than a B minus. With one exception, the offensive coordinator, in which they were given a C minus. Vikings and Dolphins, they had 11Aminuses or better for both of these teams. Seahawks had 14Aminuses or better. The Ravens, lowest grade, B minus. So you could imagine. Oh, the jets head coach got an A even though he fell asleep yesterday. Apparently at the combine, he's. He's resting on his laurels. Oh, okay. Thank you. Seahawks, home field, F, Panthers, ownership, B minus. Miss. Mr. Tepper, hold my drink. Yes, Todd. What does it happen? Nutrition means. Like, we have any grilled chicken? Can we have any. Some protein? Have a cupcake. All right, out of my sight. I. You know, they're teams that have a bad training table. Can't just eat chocolate chip cookies. I just want some grilled chicken. Yes, Paulie. I've been going through all these, and there's only a handful of teams that give. Really? The players gave very bad grades for training room, training staff, weight room and strength coaches like the Cardinals, their players gave very bad grades for all of those. That's direct because that's your. The people keep you healthy and get you physically ready for the season. And coincidentally, they're a terrible team. But could you imagine going in there in the off season and you got the strength coach or coaches in there and they're looking around going, which one of you guys who doesn't? All you guys. You don't like us. What is it? Hey, we're just doing arms. We're not going to do leg day and you're upset with them. Nothing wrong with that. Yeah, I know. There's only one bench there for bench press. Yes. I wonder if there's a correlation between the crappy trainer grades and teams that are injured a lot. Yeah, Yeah. I think it's a valid point. Or bad grades for a Bad team. Yes. Paulie Seaton's right. The one of the worst for training room and training staff was the Cleveland Browns. Year by year, they're usually a bad team. It has to factor in. Yeah, yeah. So the grades came out and you can, you could understand why some of these teams would be upset about. Now, I don't know if it means, hey, we already know this. We're not going to change to. Oh, now you're embarrassing us. Now we do have to change. Didn't jets ownership, didn't Woody Johnson get like an F last year and then they redid the locker room after that? I mean, you're making billions of dollars here. Can't you treat your players better? At least get a B? You know, it doesn't have to be an A, A plus, but you know, like a B. Yes. Todd, I know this is anonymous, but you got to wonder what T.J. watt put in for, you know, the medical staff of it with the punctured lung. If something comes back, it's probably going to be T.J. watt related when you get that D or that F among the training or medical staff. Yeah. So there was a press release last year that was available in the NFL Players Association. This year they leaked it. Somebody leaked it? Yes, the one that's weird. I mean, you mentioned it just before, but the Seahawks, like one of the things you think about the Seahawks is when you play them in Seattle, that home field advantage is brutal because the place is so loud. Just to see. I know it's home game field is an F, but man, it just doesn't line up with what you think I get. Clearly, they know players don't like the turf that they use there, but man, you think of that field as just a fortress. Yeah, it is a home field, but they don't like the way the home field feels. Everything other than the actual field itself feels great. Yeah, yeah, you get all A's and then the playing surface here. But when you think about it as a player, it would be the most important thing to me is the playing surface. And if I'm a Jet or a Giant, I know this is terrible and the jets and Giants ownership know it's terrible and it would make you think at least it would me twice. Do I want to play on that field eight games a year and what's that going to do to the longevity of my career? You know, neighbors got hurt and they attribute that, you know, to the field. Yes, Todd, does ownership. Don't they feel a need to maybe meet with the players at Some point not to say who ratted us out and said these things? But like, doesn't have to be addressed. Or you think it's going to just get swept under the rug and pretend you didn't get a D in this and an F in family or facilities and just go about your business like usual? I mean, how much money are we talking about? You're going to upgrade the locker room or the training table? Why are you not treating families well? Like, what does that mean? Do you make them park like a half a mile away? There is no green room. There's no hot food in there. Like, like, what is it? And comparing that. So one team has an F, F minus and then another one has an A. What is the difference between those two? And this is where the NFL, you know, the, the home office should be looking at this collectively and saying, this is bad for us. You know, we look bad here. We make $23 billion in revenue. Can't we spend a little money? It's like, I got bad tires on my Porsche now. Yes. Seaton the. I'm looking into the jets improvements in the last year since Woody Johnson was embarrassed. And it's fun. It says this says, ahead of the 2025 NFL season, the jets unveiled a comprehensive renovation of the Locke and adjacent areas at the training center. Yeah. Upgrades include 92 custom built lockers with high tech features such as ventilation and USB ports. Wow. What is it? 2018 ventilation? Let's get a little movement in the air. Good God, guys, can we get some ventilation? The other thing that they list as part of the big improvements is there's also a large illuminated 2000 pound jets logo on the ceiling. Yeah, that's definitely what the players want. I can't stand looking at this ceiling. Can we get something incredible, incredibly heavy and illuminated up there, please? There's no hot water or soap, but look at that jets logo. Yeah. You know that. Meanwhile Woody's like, you know, I paid a million dollars for that thing. You better like it. Like, great. Yes. Marvin, Imagine if you go to Georgia or LSU or Ohio State. Oh, yeah. And the facilities in college are way better than they are in the NFL. Like, that is pathetic. There's no way that should be the case. Yeah. Yes. Todd, how angry or frustrated does a player have to be to say, I was going to give it an F? But you know what? F minus. Really make it clear how disgusting this is. F minus an actual grade? I don't think so. I mean, you're a professor. It's not. No. Well, since you're asking. No. F minus is not an option to grade somebody. F is the worst. Gave the absolute. They made up a grade. It was so bad. When you're goofing on someone, you say, here's an F minus. F minus. Dang. What would bother you more, though? The Miami Dolphins get A's and everything, but they're not good. Well, I guess I would like the luxury if we're going to be bad, that there's at least something positive when I go to the facility. You know, the. The experience is nice. You know, I get to, hey, we lost. But, man, look at this. We get a great training table and we got. Look at these facilities that we have here. But how much would it cost to just freshen up the place? I mean, didn't Kansas City have a terrible grade the previous year? They did. They got a bunch of C's and C minuses for, like, weight room facilities, other things. Yeah, Dang. Dang. Yeah. The grades coming out. Yes, Tom. Not to mention the billions rolling in and how the NFL in this country is by far the most popular sport. There's just. There's no. There's no excuse at all to not have some kind of basic upgrade so a player doesn't feel like he has to give you an F minus in any category. Yes, Paulie. I went back to 2025 and some of the good teams have terrible grades. Team travel. Team travel. Buffalo Bills again, F minus. Patriots, F, Eagles, F. Those are good teams. The NFL surpassed $23 billion in revenue last year. Half of that in taxes. Hey, come on, guys. Come on. To take that much, freshen it up a little bit here. College has better facilities. Alrighty. We'll get some phone calls in here. 877-3DP show Vince in Austin. Good morning, Vince. What's on your mind today? Hey, guys. Happy Friday. Well, I'm driving back from Dallas and D fishing to Austin. Got the call last night. Looks like I'm probably gonna join the dd. We'll see what plays out. But I was gonna say we need to have a charter club. Maybe do Small Hands Across America or something like that. All right, well, thank you, Vince, and good luck. Heading back home. Might be joining the ddc. Do we want to have a small hands club? I'll be the president. Are you okay? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, we have the one T shirt worth your. Both your hands there, man. That got awkward at some of the meet and greets when you would see a woman who had your hands strategically placed and gripping. Yeah. Yes, Paul. I'M not just the president. Remember that? Was that the Hair Club? For Men? For men. That's Marvin. I'm not only the president. Yeah. Small handed club. You could have a very, very small card. Membership card that makes your hands look a little bigger. Bigger. Okay. Actually, yeah. Everything that the club sells is sized down a little bit. So it's like. Yeah. Look at this mug. Sean in Cincinnati. Good morning, Sean. What's on your mind? Hey, good morning, Dan. Just wanted to call in quick. Fourth time, long time, six foot, 200 and something pounds. I just had to call in and give Marvin some love. His face looks so defeated on the intro on the Peacock show today. Marvin, don't let Seaton beat you up too bad. And I hope your arms are definitely longer than Seaton's. Quick question for the group, though. We've had a debate amongst my friends who are also DP show listeners. How many times do you have to be on as a caller to be considered a contributor? And you can list it on your professional resume. We should ask Chris in Syracuse if they're, you know, because he's the professional caller. I don't know if he has it on his LinkedIn page that a contributor to the DP show. I would think 10, 10 times. You know, the regular, like Buddha, there's certain, you know, we probably have 10 or 15 gus in LA that I would think if you've contributed on a semi regular basis, you can put contributor to the Dan Patrick Show. I'm fine with that. Yes. I think it's kind of when we recognize the name. Okay. You know, when it comes up. I don't know how many callers that is or how many exact number of calls that is, but sometimes it's like, oh, yeah, Jim in Tampa. I know that guy. Yeah, like Lucas in Texas. Like there's certain guys where you go, okay, oh, yeah, I remember. I know who this is. We'll take a break here. There's definitely other people that call in. They're like, hey, just about that last time I called in in 2019. Just still really embarrassed about it. Like, no idea what you're talking about. Yeah, they'll bring up something and I'll go, I don't. I don't. I have no idea. Yes, Tom, it is hard to make rent. As a professional caller, we should say that you should get something on the side where you can actually get paid. But you know your Wikipedia page, you want to put it on there. Contributor to the Dan Patrick Show. I'm fine with that. Yes. Yes, Marvin. Some of our callers have Wikipedia pages maybe. Oh, that's amazing. Well, do you guys have Wikipedia pages? Can you have a Wikipedia page? I think you can. I don't know that any of us do. Oh, you don't want to check though? Let's see. Yeah, Todd, I think it's better if someone creates it as opposed to you pitching yourself to get a Wikipedia page if it happens to Wikipedia Wiki Wik. Yes, Marvin, I did look at my high school's Wikipedia page to see if I was on the notable alumni list. Oh, I'm not gonna lie. I definitely tried. I was like, let's see if there's more. Oh, nope, there's not. Well, take a break. Maybe during the commercial break we can check and see if we have Wikipedia pages with the Dan S backroom Guys got Wikipedia pages? Rightfully so. Yeah, they got their own T shirt. I mean Rob AKA Rob Agul, known for editing early life. Yeah. Grew up in. Let's take a break here. Play of the day. Dan Patrick, Laker head coach J.J. redick after the loss last night, we talk about this as a staff, like our losses are louder than other teams because we're the Lakers and because of the way we lose. You know, you get this deep in the season and again tonight was a one possession clutch game, which, you know, now, now we've, you know, lost a few of those. But we've been great for the most part in the clutch all year. Our losses are louder, I would say. So we had some adversity tonight. Did we not respond? Yeah, you did, but you blew a 12 point lead. And that's three losses in a row you lose to Orlando. I mean, they are kind of a middling team here. Like, I don't, I'm not expecting anything great. I think something great could happen, but I don't think it's sustainable. Once they get to the postseason, could they be a tough out? Absolutely. But, you know, if you're a five or six seed here, are you going to be threatening to some of these other teams? I just, I don't think so. And you start to look at some of these other teams, you know, the east feels wide open. We're not sold on Detroit. We're not sold onto the Knicks. I still think Boston's going to be the team to beat if Tatum's able to come back with the contributions. They get that OKC is so deep even when they don't have their top five scores. You know, they were in a game where they were leading in the third quarter, I believe just recently. And then, you know, you get everybody back. Denver's gonna be a tough out, the Rockets, you know, so there's, there's teams that are good. I don't know if there's a great team. San Antonio won again, you know, after a while, it's not the. Oh, it's. That's a cute story. They won 11 in a row. And that's when you start to look at this team, because when you're young, you're trying to figure it out. And it used to be you go into the postseason. Well, maybe it still exists that you go into the postseason. It's a learning process for a younger team. We saw that down through history, and you saw that with OKC a couple of years ago. You get into the postseason, you got to kind of learn because it's a. Just a different brand of basketball. San Antonio is going to learn that along the way. But gaining confidence to the. The following year, there won't be a fluke there. It'll be like you expect San Antonio to be an elite team. And credit to them. Yes, Marvin. And I think with it, when it comes to the NBA playoffs, it's a lot about matchups. And the spurs or the Thunder do not want to see the spurs because the spurs have had their number all season long. And Wemby hates Chad. And I think we need more hatred in the NBA. Like, don't even mention that guy in the same breath as me. But why does Wemby not like Chet Holmgren? Because I think it was a lot of. Man, this guy's a unicorn. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We use that term a little bit too loosely, and I think it was a lot of. It's a Chet. Is it Wemby? And Wemby's like, no, no, no. This isn't a competition. This isn't a comparison. It's almost like Jordan against Drexler. Don't compare me to that guy. Oh, well, I didn't know that it was. Hey, which one do you want to take? Cheddar Wemby. Yep. Was that actual. An actual question and Wendy's mind? It was. Oh. Because people were hyping up chat and it was like a big matchup. Chet vs. Wemby, the two young, you know, centerpieces of their team, so to speak. So Chad, Chet's a good player, but he's not Wemby. Oh, we know that. Yeah. I mean, he's not a one, he's a two. Yes, but he was Wemby before Wemby got there, wasn't he? He didn't quite have quite as much hype, but he was sort of like this big dude that plays more like a guard than a big man. And can shoot and look at his handles. He did have a handle and. And then he got hurt and then all of a sudden this other guy showed up and kind of walked right into that place. Well, Porzingis was supposed to be the unicorn and that didn't work out. I mean, he was like a big dude, though. Like, not sort of like a super skinny seven footer. Like they. They're almost carbon copies in some ways. Yeah. Yeah. Smart. Yeah. I think the big difference between Porzingis and the other two guys we just mentioned, Chet and Wemby can put it on the floor and they can go from the three point line and dribble to the basket. Yeah. And finish. I remember seeing Chet in high school and what stood out is that tall with that kind of handle and he had touch. But Wemby defend. Well, Wemby's a better player, obviously, but. All right, you know, maybe it's a rivalry here. Maybe. Yes. Paul, Chet missed his. I love calling Chet with his first name, by the way. He missed his whole rookie year with injury, but he's up to 17 points, nine rebounds. Yeah, he's got blocks. Yeah. Those are all really good numbers. All purpose player. Yes. He's going to make $50 million a year. How many chats we've had? Chet Walker and Chet Holmgren. I don't know how many chats that we've had. And what is Chet short for? Chester. Oh, it is Chester. Well, I have. His official name is. Shouldn't it be Chest then? Yeah, that's what I would think. I would go by Chest. That'd be awesome. Yeah. You're going to chest chat. I dated some people who could have gone by chest. I married one. My name is Chester. Yes, Todd. Like Chet McLoughlin. That doesn't sound like that would work very well if that's actually a way to say Chester and Chet. I don't. Are those really connected to each other? Are those two separate names? Yes, Paul, I have. His official name is Chet. Thomas Holmgren. No. Chester. Okay. But we're staying on this story. Okay. Call him ct, update the poll results. Seaton. I'd be happy to. How much NFL combine do you watch? Most. Some or none? You want to take a guess? Some. Okay. Yes. Some has a percentage of the vote. Definitely 49. No, they're at 20. 20, 22. Yeah, you nailed it. Nailed it. But the none number is really interesting to me. 76% of the audience right now. Watch. Zero. None. I think you're lying. I think you're lying. I think the most and the none number are the most interesting. Some is like, well, all right. Yeah. Everybody watches some. Well, head to the combine. Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Network analyst, will join us and Robert Ori in the final hour of the program. We're back after this. This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human.
