We'll dive into that coming up in a moment. Aaron Rodgers is going to the Steelers and our long awaited nightmare is finally over as he is signed with the Steelers, which I thought he had already agreed to in principle. Maybe a handshake deal, maybe just something verbally and said I'll be there when you need me to be there. And that is the start of June. I thought it would actually happen today. It happened yesterday. We'll talk about that. The ramifications for the Steelers and their over under total in super bowl odds. How much did they shift on the news that Aaron Rodgers was going there? 8773 DP show email address dpdanpatrick.com Twitter handle the TP Show Good morning. We have Wellfleet and lucky lime oysters if you're a big oyster. I'm more of a Kumamoto, in case you care. PEI guy. Yes, I'M more of a pei. Yeah. Got it. Well, Fleet, Cape Cod. Dan, you're not gonna branch out. No. Nah. You're just so you know, there's a bit of a rumbling in the back room that you're a bit of a oyster snob. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, I freely openly admit. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Yes. But you're not. You will eat other oysters, right? I will. But I would prefer my pei. Prince Edward Island. You know, and I do love the Kumamoto and the Miyagi's just in case, you know, a little bit smaller, not as briny. Back to you. I need a horseradish to go along with my cocktail sauce. Just to let you know. Yeah, dude. Yeah. All right, so that's Meat Friday here. We'll have a poll question, play of the day, stat of the day, all of that forthcoming if you didn't stay up to watch or listen. This is how it ended last night in Oklahoma City. Gildas Alexander spins, pulls up, jumper off the mark, won't go. Rebound. Nice Pacers with a chance to win it. Halliburton looking Halliburton driving, pulls off, jumps, shot and go. It's gone with 3. 10 of a second remaining. Timeout. OKC. Tyrese Haliburton does it again. Okay, Oklahoma City is winning this. They should have been up by 30. They were blowing out Indiana. Indiana could not have played worse. And it's one of those situations where I'm not saying that they didn't. That they lost the game during the first three quarters because they didn't put Indiana away. They could have won the game in the first three quarters, if you follow my logic here, that they would have been up by an insurmountable amount. Whereas with Indiana, if they're down 15, okay, business as usual. I've said this before. Teams that win by a large margin, I'm always very leery of them when they get into a one possession game. Now you're winning by 13 points per game. And I always go back to the UNLV running rebels in the early 90s. They're blowing everybody out. And I wondered, and I said this, I was working with Bob Leon Sports center, what happens when they get into a one possession game? If they do. They got into a one possession game against Duke. They had problems with the inbounds pass, the play that was set up. And Duke goes on to win the national title. I'm not saying Indiana is going to win just because they won last night. A lot of times we overreact to game one. I go back to Allen Iverson getting 48 against the Lakers in game one and winning in LA and everybody was like, oh, my goodness. I go, no, no, easy here. The 76ers aren't good. And the Lakers ended up winning, dominating. And OKC is a better team, like statistically a better team. But what happened? There's no urgency last night and give credit to Indiana and, and give credit to Rick Carlisle because there has to be a calming influence in that huddle. Has to be. And that's Rick Carlisle. Not too high, not too low. The bench, Obi Toppin, who played terribly and then had five three pointers. But it's don't panic. And they didn't panic. And even on the last possession. Now I'm screaming, waking up everybody in the house, and I'm going with Halliburton getting the ball, and I'm like, don't let him go right. Don't make him pass it. Make him. Don't let him go right. Now I'm. I picked Indiana to win the series. I'm just doing this from a basketball perspective of don't let the best guy beat you. Even though he played horribly, Tyrese Halliburton has become one of the great clutch shooters in NBA postseason history. The numbers back that up. They let him go, right. Caruso doesn't double. He falls back on Pascal Siakam and Halliburton raises up and then seals it. You let him go, right, you don't double him. And, and look, Pascal Siakam could have hit the game winning shot as well. I would have been okay with that. I cannot let the guy who has done this over and over and over and over drives me crazy. And it just felt like everybody was sort of floating up at the other end of the floor. Here's Halliburton, got the ball and floating, floating, floating. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick. And I go, oh, my goodness, he's going to get a jumper. You don't send anybody at him. Make him pass the ball to somebody else. Halliburton has four game tying or go ahead field goals in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime this postseason. Brought to you by Panini America, the official trading cards of the program. Here is Halliburton on that game winning shot. This game, if you look at all the numbers, it's not the recipe to win. We can't turn the ball over that much. We got to do a better job of beating gaps, got to do a better job of rebounding got to do a better job all over the floor. But come May and June, it doesn't matter how you get them, just get them, you know, so we'll take it. You know, we'll enjoy this one tonight, but understand, we got another game coming up in this tough building, and we got to be prepared for that. Yeah, they played horribly. And I, I guess if you're Rick Carlisle, you're like, okay, we can't play this bad, can we again? Well, you can't play this badly again and win again, I'm gonna guess. But okc, you're just kind of floating. Hey, Shay. Gil. They. It felt like they were standing around watching Shea Gilges, like, hey, man, he's putting up a lot of points here. These guys are committing turnovers. They're not any good. Then all of a sudden it's like, all right, chip away, chip away, chip away, chip away. Now all of a sudden, that next possession is really important, and Shay Gill just got the shot that he wanted. He misses the shot and then transition defense. I just can't, for the life of me can't understand why you let Tyrese Halliburton have a shot. Yes, Marvin. Also, the Pacers had so many turnovers and the Thunder didn't take advantage of it. I think they only got 11 points off of all of those turnovers that the Pacers had last night. Once again, they couldn't have played worse. But they won the game, and they won the game in okc. In case you're wondering, for entertainment purposes, The Pacers are 11 point underdogs this time around. We talked about this yesterday, and if you're going to pick the Pacers to win a game, it was yesterday, it was last night. We see this, you know, that team struggling, scraping, scrapping, and then, you know, here we are, game one. Meanwhile, you've been waiting for your, you know, your opponent to come into town, and the Pacers came in and granted, they did not play well at all. OKC should have won that game by double digits. They were favored by nine and a half. But the Pacers, 11 point underdogs at OKC. But they've done what they needed to do. And that is. And look, there could be a gentleman sweep. I mean, there's. There probably a lot of people, smart people, analysts who say, hey, OKC can still, you know, they can sweep this, they can win in five and okay, probably can they have the talent, have the team. But at least the Pacers said, not so fast. Maybe we only get parting gifts for being in the NBA Finals. We're going to make you work for this. But that's inexcusable. It really is inexcusable that you didn't go after them. And. And you know what their MO is. I don't know why I'm yelling. Well, you got to point that you're up, what, 15 points with nine and a half minutes. The bench for the Pacers are killing you. And Halliburton was out of his mind the past month. Like you said, get it out of his hands. And risk the Pascal Siakam layup? Someone else should rotate over. Nemhard like anybody. Miles Turner. It can't be that guy. It can't. It's like when Reggie was playing with the Pacers. Reggie is not beating me. He can't beat me. Mark Jackson, Rick Smith, one of the Davis brothers, somebody other than that guy. And there are a few of those that guys in the NBA. And Halliburton has become that. Yeah, se. It is funny that you did come in, like, exasperated today. I did. I know. Like, dang, dude. I didn't know that you were like, riding that hard. Oh, you just don't let him go, right? I know. So one guy, you know. I know. But it's. It's just the basketball purist in me. I'm watching it. And even though I. I love that Indiana won, I mean, I want this to be a competitive series. You know these people who say, oh, there's no star power. I'm not watching. I don't give a damn. Get the hell out of here. Okay. The NBA is going to be fine. Off my lawn. Yeah, they're going to be fine. I don't know. Okay, don't watch. But this is ideal for both the NHL in the NBA. You got an overtime win by Edmonton. You had star power and you had an unbelievable performance at the end of the game. Wasn't a good game, but it was a great finish. Yes. Mark, I love how angry you got because you seem like the guy I know, a guy I went to school with. And I'm left handed. Obviously, you guys know that. I kept going left. He's left. Marvin's left handed. Hello. Hello. He's left handed. That was you. Like, guys, he's going right. You know that. Right? You guys know that I got to force him left. And even if he takes the like I need, I have to force him in to help. That's all. And I don't want you going with your strong hand there. That's all. And I don't want you taking the shot. You're so mad. I was. I. I know. Fritz. Fritz. He goes, damn, it's Friday. I go, I. It doesn't matter what day it is. So, yes. Todd, isn't there an argument to be made that, like, if you're going to lose to somebody, better make sure that their best guy beats you? You don't want one of these other guys, even though they have very good players in their team. You could make the argument that's like, if we're going to lose at the final seconds, we're not going to let one of their secondary guys beat us. That better be their best guy that takes us down. Wait, wait. What are you. What are you saying? I'm saying that you're saying, let Halliburton not let the shot. Not let him. But is it easier to. Is it easier to sw. That it's their best guy? No. 1. As opposed to, we let one of these other guys beat us? Had we let five seconds to go? No. So your logic would be, hey, if Michael Jordan beats us, great. Instead of saying, make Steve Kerr John Paxton beat us. Yeah, we just lost it. Nem harder. I can't believe we let the siakam or column get that winning shot. No, no. I could never live with myself if I said, oh, well, at least it was Jordan who beat me. It was. We didn't. You know what? Give them credit because we didn't let Michael take that shot. We didn't let Larry Bird take the shot. We didn't let Kareem take the shot. We didn't let Magic, Isaiah, the great players. I mean, that's why they're great. They do make plays. But this felt like this could have been prevented. Now, obviously, in the first three quarters or deep into the fourth quarter, but if you look at the transition, it's very okay, all right? And I'm thinking, the game's on the line. All he needs is a 2. This can't be a game that feels like December. I was just shocked. That's all. I was shocked. Damn. All postseason, you've been saying the same thing. I know. I just. And, you know, the Danette sometimes just let me go. Like, they. They just leave me alone. I. I'm talking to them, but they're not. They're like, okay, all right. Let him get it out. All right, let me take a break here. I got to do a 20. I love the. Oh. Oh. Good morning, DP Marv. What the bleep was that last night? Good morning. Yeah. I walk around a corner. I run into Marvin. He goes, hey, DP Marvin, what was that last night? And he's like, what? What? You can't let Alberton be. You meet Friday. It's not good for digestion to get all this. I know, I know, I know. All right, we take a break, come back, calm down a little bit. Then we're going to come up with a poll question. We're going to talk about Aaron Rodgers going to the Steelers, and we'll get phone calls coming up. We're back after this. And the Dan Patrick show. All right, Seaton, what are we going to go with? Yeah, we already got two of them up there right now. Better oysters. East Coast, West Coast, Gulf Coast. Okay. Might as well just throw that one out there right now. East coast is leading, followed by Gulf Coast. West Coast. Last place. Yeah. West coast still waking up. They're still waking up, right? That must be it. That must be it. Because that. That is a shocking result. Gotta admit. Yeah. Weather wrong. They are incorrect. Yes, they would. Yeah. You have the Kumamotos and then you tell me after that. I mean, come on. Yes, that's like Kumamoto's are so good. Like it's a top heavy. But then the rest are not great. Maybe this coast is a little more balanced. I don't know. We have up there too. Pacers will win the series losing five or losing six or seven. Okay. Right now 50% of the audience have them losing in six or seven. All right. I mean. Yeah, I get it. I mean they're, you know, the odds have changed a little bit here, obviously. And they should have lost that game. The Thunder were minus 300 to win the title, but right now they were minus 650 yesterday prior to the game. So the Pacers at plus 245. They were plus 475 yesterday. So a little bit has changed. But that's one poll question. Well, we have a couple of them there with the, the oysters as well. We do, yeah. Two of them. Okay. All right, fair enough. That's that first hour. Yeah. Paul. Kumamoto oysters are known for their sweet, buttery flavor, having notes of melon and cucumber finish. Obviously from Japan, but they're very popular in Humboldt Bay, California and Oakland, Washington. They're cultivated there as well. Back to you. Yeah, yeah. Can't go wrong if you get a chance. They're on the menu. Ask for the Kumamotos also, if you can afford sea smoke, Pinot noir, get that as well. You can thank me later. Aaron Rodgers, in case you hadn't heard, he's going to Pittsburgh. Okay. I guess he's going to show up next week and I think he had something family related. Don't know what that is. I think that there was an agreement in place. We spoke about this numerous times. You go in for six hours, you meet with Mike Tomlin. From what I'm told, there were conversations that were on a semi regular basis between Aaron and Mike Tomlin and that this was an agreement that they had. Whether it was in principle, it's a one year deal. Maybe it's a. I thought it was going to be one plus one, but from what I've read so far, it's just a one year deal with Aaron Rodgers. Don't know, you know, if it's incentive based. Probably will be. But here's the key. I think Mason Rudolph can, you know, take you to a 9 and 8 record. I need somebody to take you to a playoff win because it's been a long time since they won a playoff game. Yeah, they finish over 500. That's nice. I'd like to win a playoff game or two if I could. Yes. Paul Russell Wilson last year for the Steelers. 11 starts, 2500 yards, 16 touchdowns and five picks. Not bad. Those are very solid stats. Aaron Rodgers last year had about just under 4,000 yards, 26 touchdowns, 11 interceptions. He didn't have a bad year. He didn't. It's just he didn't show up in big games that you can sometimes have stats where you go. I mean, the numbers do lie. Here are your Steeler odds to win the Super bowl yesterday, plus 4,000. And then they signed Aaron Rodgers. Their super bowl odds today, plus 4,000. Wow. Push over, under prior to signing Aaron Rodgers, eight and a half. Over, under. After signing Aaron Rodgers, eight AND a half. I don't know if this is about the Steelers or about Aaron or maybe a combo. Is he an upgrade? Yes. How much of an upgrade? And really, this just kind of prolongs your quarterback situation. Like this doesn't solve it. This is one year. That's why I thought that they would draft a quarterback. Now, granted, it has to be the quarterback that you think is right for your offense. And Will Howard from Ohio State may turn out to be a starting quarterback, but if I like Shador Sanders or Jackson Dart, then I take them there. If I think that helps us down the road. Like, it feels like you're on the clock because you haven't won a playoff game in how many years? What's it been like eight or nine years that they haven't won a playoff game? And it feels like this is a right now move. You're gonna, you're gonna re sign TJ Watt or you're going to extend his contract. You'll put him up there with Miles Garrett, Michael Parsons. But how good are you? Okay, you got DK Metcalf. Okay. He's great on the deep ball. But so I, I don't know, I look at the team and I go, where do you stand? Are you better than the Bengals? And that's probably a push, but I would say the Bengals probably a little better. And the Ravens. You're not as good as the Ravens. And then you have the Browns, but where do you stand in the AFC? Are the Steelers a top 10 in the AFC? So that's where I'm looking at this going. Okay, are. Are we doing this for now? And then what happens after this year? It just kicks the can down the road of you didn't really address the quarterbacking situation. Bigger picture. And then I thought, you know, you Start to look at winners and losers like Kirk Cousins probably was hoping, hey, we can work out a trade. I can go to Pittsburgh. That would be great for a couple of years and my career with the Pittsburgh Steelers as opposed to being a backup in Atlanta. Also, the NFL schedule makers, would they have gone a little more all in? Now, the Steelers are universally loved, you know, fan base all over the world, but would they have, you know, they, they manipulated the schedule when Aaron Rodgers was with the jets and they're like, I don't know, six of the first eight games are prime time. Like we're all in on Aaron. But you know, with Pittsburgh and then they open up with the Jets, I think that's a one o' clock game at the Jets. And then I said, golly, if you're the NFL, can you find out, you know, what's your gut feeling if Aaron Rodgers is going to play? Because if he's going to play, does that change that first week? Do you change it? Does somebody want that as a 4 o' clock or, you know, primetime game? That was the only thing I thought of is does the NFL know something that Aaron Rodgers, is he going to play or is he not going to play? Yeah. Boy. I've been thinking about this a little bit since you brought it up. I'm curious if Aaron Rodgers moves the needle TV wise anymore. So yesterday I was watching after Rogers signed with the Steelers and objectively, it seems like a lot of people now it's social media, but a lot of football fans really don't like Aaron Rodgers for a number of reasons. And it's interesting because, and that's not necessarily my opinion, but what I saw yesterday is that people were rooting against the Steelers and rooting for Rogers to fail. Or at least the second part of that. The Steelers are one of the more beliked teams in all of sports. Generally, people have positive images of the Steelers, almost like the St. Louis Cardinals. And now you hire a quarterback who's polarizing at best and for a lot of football fans, dislikable. It's an interesting quandary they have there. Yeah, but people watch the Cowboys because they hate them. So you might watch the Steelers. Hate, watch. Yes. They've never been in that position before. People might not have liked Ben Roethlisberger, but for the most part, Tomlin Cower, you know, the consistency that the Steelers have always had in that organization. But yeah, I don't know how many polarizing players there are in the NFL when you think about it, not many. I mean People might not like Travis Kelsey because, you know, there's a, a part of the public that doesn't agree with him because she, you know, voted for Kamala Harris. So therefore he got caught in the crossfire there that you're dating, you know, Taylor Swift. Who else is really polarized? I mean, Tyree Kill, maybe. I don't know if anybody cares, but yeah, you know, Aaron Rodgers definitely polarizing. But I think people are going to tune in to either see him win or see him lose. I think you'll definitely, I don't think you'll be watching the Steelers and you won't have an opinion. I think that's pretty, pretty true for the NFL fan base. Yeah. Seaton. Yeah, I wonder. I think you're right. I think if you're watching the Steelers, you'll probably have an opinion one way or the other. But I don't know if you're going to go out of your way to watch Aaron Rodgers lose. You know, I don't know if people are going to say, like, let me see what the games are on. Oh, let me go see how terrible Aaron Rodgers is or hopefully he will be bad. I also think if the Steelers aren't very good, then no one's going to watch them regardless of their thoughts on Aaron Rodgers. See, I will. I would watch one way. If he's really good or he's struggling, I will still be interested in that. Storyline here. Over 18 years in Pittsburgh, Mike Tomlin is 8 and 11 in the playoffs. Of those eight wins, three came in 2008, two in 2010, one in 2015, two in 2016. So in 18 years, he's either missed the playoffs or lost in the first round. 14. Of those 18. Stat of the day. Stat of the day. Of the day. Stat of the day. Here comes that. What? Stat of the day. Stat of the day. Brought to you by Panini America Buddha in San Francisco. Hi, Buddha, welcome back. No, buddy. Every day's the super bowl, boys. Dan, I have a Emmy limerick for the show on this meat Friday. But first, I am in in on the Kumamoto oysters and the sea smoke Pinot noir. Dan. I mean, they're both featured here at Hurricane restaurant in Redwood City. And I hope you guys come visit during super bowl week next year. Dan, you guys are all invited and we will welcome you and the danette and the BRGs and all of DP Nation for that matter. But bloop, bloop to you, Dan. You called the Aaron Rodgers decision by today and you also called the pacers winning last night, so well done. And also, Dan, quick stat. The Pacers came back from 15 points in the fourth quarter last night. And the last time that happened in the Finals, The Mavericks against the heat in 2011. And who was the coach both times? Rick Carlisle. Yeah, thank you. Thank you, Buddha. Thank you for the invitation there. Super bowl in San Francisco this upcoming year and then Los Angeles and then Atlanta. Andrew in Washington. Hi, Andrew. What's on your mind today? Oh, good morning, Dan Dennett. Thanks for taking my call. Two quick stats about last night's game and then a question for you. But the last time the OKC Thunder had lost home were to the Pacers over a year ago, March 12th of 2024. They had not lost to another Eastern Conference team since then and also since 1971 in the NBA Finals. Teams had been over 182 when trailing by nine or more points in the final three minutes of a game until last night. Now they're one in 182. Is this the single best clutch postseason we've ever seen from a player in NBA history? Dan might be if you look at the numbers. And he's done it against a variety of opponents here, but thank you, Andrew. Thank you for the information. Fresh in Milwaukee. Hi, Fresh. Welcome back. What's up, DP and the Danette. Quick question. If the Pacers pull this off with the resume that Siakam is putting together, will he make it into the hall of Fame or the very good hall of Fame? I'd have to look at his numbers. I, I know he's been an All Star maybe a couple of times. How many times, Marvin? Probably say three. Three times he won a title in Toronto. If he would win another one, you know, he might end up in the hall of Very good. I don't know if you ever geared your game plan towards him, whether he was your star or you were going against him. I think he's, I think he's proven to be a very good player. His block on Shea Gilgis in the final minute, damn. I was like, whoa, that was so quick. And that's, that's one of those where it's, we'll look at the game winning shot, but there are other things that lead to that that sometimes you forget about. And that's, that block was unbelievable. It's like, you know, when everybody talks about Michael with the push off against Russell and hitting the shot against the Jazz, Mike had to steal the strip on Karl Malone at the other end. Plus, I love that Indiana did not take a timeout love that. You know, this is what you do. You coach sometimes you over coach and you get out coach. Because you overcoach if you know what you're doing in a situation and you practice these things. Five seconds to go. What are we doing? Seven seconds to go. What are we doing? Ten seconds to go. What are we doing? Play out the scenario. Play out the scenario from the end of the, you know, let's say a rebound, let's say an inbounds. You. You play these out just so you're aware of what is 5 seconds, what is 7 seconds, 10 seconds, what does everybody do? And you saw that last night. And I think in my. My initial thought was, is somebody calling a timeout somebody. No one's calling a timeout. Don't let him go. Right. Don't leave. He don't. Yep. And then there's silence in my house because my wife is upstairs sleeping. She's like, everything okay? They let him go, right? I'm explaining this to my wife upstairs. They let him go, right? And how. Never I'll tell you. Did she play along with you? Yeah. Why did they do that? She had no idea what I was talking about. To play along, to enjoy the lingo. Right. What does that mean? Never mind. I saw her this morning and she goes, what happened last night? I said, okay, just something happened that I. It shouldn't have happened in the game. And. But didn't you want Indiana to win? Yeah, but wait, but they won? Yeah. Never mind. I was getting frustrated. I wanted to bring out, you know, the whiteboard, and I was going to diagram the play for her. Yes. Paul, what if you walked in the kitchen, you're going to get some horseshoes, and she just jumped on your right hand, started guarding you? Yeah. I heard you say, don't let him go right. Don't let him go right. Yeah. Just takes in the. I'm going to make. Make you go left. Make you go left there. Angela in Oklahoma. Hi, Angela. Good morning, Dan. Dan. Five six, 123 pounds. Oh, I'm so frustrated about the Thunder. I knew that we would have a problem with Halliburton, but, you know, at first I was very hopeful, and then they just. Sorry. That's really all I can say is I'm so frustrated. All right, well, you still have six more games, Angela. Things that make you go. We'll take a break. Our play of the day is up next. Longer than actually my wife. And one of the things I've learned in that time is that most athletes elevate performance through better nutrition. And here's the thing. Your pets aren't much different. Your pets need quality protein to build lean muscle, balanced nutrition to maintain energy and proper hydration to support recovery and thrive regardless of their preferred form of exercise. That's why gold medalists like Simone Biles and Caleb Dressel, they trust nulo for their own pets. And they understand that champion performance starts with what goes into their body. Nulo is loaded with premium protein that builds and maintains muscle. Their low carb formula prevents those midday crashes so your pet stays in the game all day. And their mix and match options help you customize nutrition for your pet's specific needs, like a pro athlete's meal plan. The bottom line is, champions don't leave performance to chance. And neither should you. My dogs, I have got three of them and they absolutely love Nulo you should visit nulo.com that's n u l o.com to fuel. Incredible. Oh, my God. The play of the day. This is the play of the day. Check this out. Rebound, Indiana, eight seconds to go. The Pacers are not going to call a timeout. Hallibur has it with three, driving with two, pulling up and hitting with three.10 of a second to go. How many more times can this team do that? That's courtesy of the Pacers radio Network. Pacers have five playoff wins when trailing by at least 15 points this postseason. Play of the day brought to you by Tyrell. Tyrell Pickleball shoes. They made these shoes just to play pickleball. We had Derek Henry on Wednesday, I believe, and I told him if he ran for 2,000 yards this year that I'd get him in an Adam Sandler movie. He told me he was a big Adam Sandler fan. And I thought, all right, you know, 2,000 yards. I didn't run it by Sandler, but I thought, you know, he'll be okay with this 2,000 yards. And. And so I then I text Sandler and I said, hey, would you do a video for Derrick Henry? And you know that you agree that if he rushes for 2,000 yards, you'll put him in a. In a movie. We're going to play that for you next hour. Sandler got back to me, recorded a video for Derrick Henry, and then we sent it to the Ravens. And then the Ravens are getting Derrick Henry's reaction to Adam Sandler offering up a movie part if he rushes for 2,000 yards. In typical Sandler fashion, you know, being the Sandman. And I still don't know the movie date for Happy Gilmore 2. I should ask Sandler this. I thought it was like, July 24th. I don't know if. If you've seen anything online, Paul. I have. Netflix is saying July 25th. Oh, the 5th. 25th. Okay, well, maybe there's a premiere. Checking. I did ask Sandler about that. And he. I said, are you going to have a premiere? And he said, yes, but I don't know if that's in New York or la, but. And maybe it's both. But there's a lot of people, big name people in this movie. It'd be. It'd be pretty cool to go to the premiere. The 25th is Friday. Friday, I believe. Yes. Is that right, Todd? That is correct. Okay, thank you. All right, time to play the Aaron Rodgers jersey game. I don't think the Steelers are going to give him number 12. I don't think Terry Bradshaw is going to allow that. Yes, Paul. Well, let's start this. The question is, what number will Aaron Rodgers wear with the Steelers? He wore eight last year with the Jets. Who thinks that Terry Bradshaw's number 12 is retired by the Steelers? I don't think it's retired. It's not? No. No. Well, there was some acrimony between those two. That seems lightly shocking, though. Well, how many jerseys have they retired? That's a good question. Yes. Who would like to answer that question? Do you have the answer? I do. Oh, I'll say. Four jerseys have been retired. I'm going to give you half a bloop. Three all time. Ernie Stoutner, old timer. Yeah. 1964. Yeah. Mean Joe Green. Not his actual name. Yeah. Retired in 2014. His middle name's not Joe or Green. Franco Harris retired in December of 2022, considing with the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception. 32, 70, 75. Only numbers retire, however, no Steeler has worn 12 since Bradshaw retired. It's. It's unofficially retired. It's not distributed. I think it. Rogers will go eight. Yeah. And, you know, maybe he gets something that's cosmic. Isn't that infinity like eight is, right? Ton Is that. It's a. If you flip it over on its side. That. Like that Prince, whatever, Infinity logo. Yeah. You know, maybe there's some constellation that's affected by this or who knows? With Aaron. Yes, Paul. Supposedly he wore eight with the jets because he wore eight in college. Okay. Supposedly. Yeah, maybe. I don't think he'll wear 12. I don't think they'll give 12 to it. Yes. Yes. If he did want to wear 12, what's the relationship like? Would he ask permission? Or he would just do it and say, well, screw Tiger Bradshaw. I'm wearing 12. It's not officially retired. Well, no. Bradshaw already came out and. And basically was ripping the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers over this whole. That was like last week. I don't know if Aaron's going to reach out. Well, Terry's not. Doesn't have control of his jersey number. Yes. Paulie. By the way, I'm on the Steelers roster right now. And punter Corliss Waltman Is number eight. His days are numbered for now. Yeah. His days are numbered. Do you see what I did with that, Todd? Days are numbered. How much do you sell it for? Do you play that game with Aaron Rogers? Okay, for $4 million, you're gon happen. David in Ohio. Hi, David. Hey, Dan. Happy New Friday. Nobody. I'm a Steelers fan and I had one to pose a P in face bet to the room. You said the over under win total for Steelers was eight and a half. I'm willing to bet on one side that Pat. That Aaron Rodgers will have more Pat McAfee show appearances over eight and a half. And I was wondering if the other side would like to take the Steelers under eight and a half wins for the season. Rogers under center. All right. I felt bad for McAfee. I mean, not that he needs publicity, but I thought this was a. Aaron is going to tell Pat, hey, I'm coming back and do it on a show. Did Shefty break this? I don't know who broke it, but yeah, I don't get caught up in those very often. There's a lot of time, you know, it's a PR release. It's an agent telling, you know, somebody, an insider. Yes. I saw one story. It's just our friend Jerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post may have been. Okay. All right. I'm all for Jerry getting a little. A little credit there. Pittsburgh Post Gazette. All right. Thank you, David. You know, I don't. I'm gonna go over with the winds. I mean, it feels like they're guaranteed nine wins every. I want to know, is somebody willing to, you know, do a pie to the face that they win a playoff game? That's what would matter to me if I'm a Steeler fan. Hey, you got nine wins. Did we win a playoff game? No. But you got nine wins. Another winning season. Yes. Paul. Imagine being a Browns fan. I mean, always, but specifically now 3 and 14. You lose your last six. The Bengals are probably better. They won their last five. The Steelers may have gotten better. And the Ravens are always 12 plus wins. It feels insurmountable. Yeah, but the Browns have Shador Sanders. I think the Browns are going to win fewer games next year than three. Really? Yeah. That division's a bear. And I don't think their team has improved. You can kind of accidentally win a couple. Yeah, I like sometimes you're facing a team that just has a bad day or they don't care. I would bet now that the Browns have the number one pick of the draft. Maybe not necessarily two wins. I'll go to what's what. Pie is indigenous to Cleveland. I have no idea. I'll go Pie to the face. Browns number one pick. They earn it. Not trade. They earn it. They earn. It's not the gutsiest bet, by the way. Way. I mean, yeah, the other contenders would be the Saints. You Raiders had four wins, Titans had three wins, Jacksonville had four wins. Yeah, I'd say Cleveland might be on the clock. Might be on the clock. Albert Brer, the Monday morning quarterback. He'll have some information on the Aaron Rodgers signing more on The Pacers surprising OKC as well. Hour 2 on the way this is an ad for the Active Cash credit card from Wells Fargo.
