Kickoff will be 8:20 Eastern. Help me understand this from a coaching perspective because I saw where Brian Dabel was being blamed a little bit for Jackson darts, reckless play and being in concussion protocol or looked at for concussions. Being in the Blue 10 four times through seven games is not an accident. So what role, you know, does the coach play in how a player plays, particularly your quarterback? It's a tricky question. Happy birthday to Melissa, by the way. A tricky question. I think when you call a lot of quarterback design runs, that's where you can take some responsibility. You know, you can talk to quarterbacks till you're blue in the face about, hey, slide, do all that kind of stuff. Typically those lessons are learned by experience. They get hit a couple times and they realize, hey, I'm not a running back. These guys in the NFL are big and strong. They knock you around, they start sliding. But I think when you're calling design quarterback runs, which the Giants do, you can take some responsibility as A coach, you know, they love that quarterback. You know, it's the old John Madden used to call it, you know, the counter trade play that John Riggins used to run. You know what they're doing in football these days is they're running that play with the quarterback. They're pulling the backside guard, the backside tackle, and he's running downhill like a running back would run. And it's, it's been a really good play for the Giants, but you know, when you're calling those plays, you just have to be careful of calling that thing too much. What do you see or don't see from Jordan Love? Oh, I see someone who's got a bright future who just plays a little bit inconsistently. You know, I love him to death. Sometimes I get concerned that he, that he throws the ball off his back foot a little bit too much. You know, he has this ability. And I think you probably learned from being around Aaron Rodgers to throw the ball from so many different positions, and it's rare. And so much of playing quarterback in the NFL is having the ability to do that, but when the pocket is clean, stand in there and throw it. And I think sometimes he misses throws because of that and gets a little frivolous. So. And then that kind of builds on itself. So I'm really bullish on the guy. I think he's, he's a heck of a player. He's a little bit streaky. When he has down games, it kind of stays down. And when he's hot, he's as hot as there is in the NFL. So, you know, for them, to me, the biggest thing is getting Josh Jacobs involved and making it about their running game first. And then he's going to get some cleaner looks in the passing game and I think he'll get back on track. Yeah, I wondered about being a little more aggressive on first down instead of. If you stop Josh Jacobs and it's second and seven, you know, now I'm getting him in an obvious passing situation. So I don't know if Matt Leflore changes this up a little bit. So you're not as predictable or as conservative as they've been. No doubt. And as I say that about getting Josh Jacobs more involved, the tendency sometimes is, okay, just hand him the ball and first down and you have. And you have to do that. But. But oftentimes it's the classic, you know, getting some run formations, make it look like run, go play action. Make some first downs on first and second down, you know, don't go, run, run hey, hey, Jordan, go make third and seven for us. You know, that's a hard rhythm for a quarterback. So I think your point's well made. And then when you, when you do some of that run action stuff, that play action stuff, you make some first downs, that just simply gives you more attempts, and that's when Josh Jacobs gets more involved. What's it mean to you when Dan Campbell says, I'm going to take over the play calling? It's an interesting decision. It really is. Particularly for an offense that's been, you know, by a lot of measuring sticks, pretty good. I mean, they're, they're top five offense and they've had some big games so far. But we talked about on the show the other night, I've known Dan for a long time. He and I were teammates with the Giants, and I love him to death. He's a great friend. And one thing I know about him is he's convicted. He's convicted in life, he's convicted in football, and he knows exactly what he wants. And that's why they've had success in Detroit. He and Brad Holmes got together and said, hey, what's the vision for this team? What kind of players do we need? What do we want to do? An offense, defense, kicking game. And they stuck through it through the thick and thin. And he trusts his instincts, he trusts his convictions, and clearly he didn't like the feel of what was going on on offense. And I give him credit because it's a bold move. There's an old story, though, that my friend Norv Turner used to tell, and I say this with incredible respect for everybody involved, but he was coaching for the, for the Rams back in the 80s, and the Rams had Eric Dickerson, John Robinson was the head coach, and they had a really good team, but they would play the 49ers, who was, they were incredible at the time defensively. And they, and the Niners would shut down the running game, then they'd play the Giants, and the Giants were really good, shut down the running game, and then they'd go play Atlanta and John Robinson would come in and say, hey, you know, I'm going to come in, I'm going to get involved in this run game. I'm going to take over this thing. And Atlanta wasn't very good at the time, and Dickerson would rush for 200 yards, and then Robinson would come back in on Monday and say, hey, I got you guys squared away now, you know, let's get back to work, you know, and so I get a Little nervous about that with Detroit because Washington was depleted. They weren't very good on defense. They're banged up and Detroit goes in there and they're like Detroit at its best. But now here comes Philly. So it's going to be a little bit different. So I. I wonder going forward how it's all going to play out. But again, I admire Dan's conviction. And Dan. Dan gets underappreciated as a football guy. People think of him as this great speech maker and all of that. He's a damn good football coach, as smart a player as I've ever been around. So he knows what the heck he's doing on offense. But he's changed the dynamic of the staff. And so as they go forward, he'll have more decisions to make. Yeah, but that's tough being an offensive coordinator because that's a vote of no confidence. When Dan goes, you know what, I'm going to take over play calling. Yeah, again, it's tricky, but. But the flip side to that is, okay, leave John Morton in place and then micromanage it. You don't like what you're getting, so you're in the meetings more and you're micromanaging more. Why don't we do this? And then during the game, you're in the guy's ear and all of a sudden he loses his rhythm as well. So, you know, it can go back and forth. That's a delicate balance when you're doing it that way. So Dan was bold like he always is, and said, I'm taking over it, but we just got to watch that thing going forward as they play better defenses. Jason Garrett, NBC Football Night in America. And it'll be the Lions at the Eagles kickoff at 8:20 Eastern on Sunday night. Are you done with coaching? You know, I love the job I'm in right now. I really do. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Have you. Are you interested in coaching? Well, let me answer it this way. I love the job I'm in. I'm really fortunate. But I was really fortunate to play for a long time and coach for a long time. And. And I can say this to you honestly, that I've loved every part of it. I love coaching football. I love to be in a position coach, a coordinator and a head coach. So, you know, if that opportunity presents itself in a way that. That seems like it's attractive, sure, I look at it. I can't go back to playing, you know, that that's not an option anymore. But I love what I'm Doing. I love every part of the job I have at NBC, and I'm really fortunate. When's the last time a team contacted you? I don't know that anybody's ever contacted me. I've talked to a lot of people in the business over the last four years, but, you know, nobody's ever contacted me and said, I want you to be my head coach or my offensive coordinator. But I've talked to a lot of people about football since I've stopped coaching. But you're young. You're young by coaching standards. Yeah. Again, I love what I'm doing. I do. Well, I'm gonna be in Philadelphia on Sunday night with Lions and Eagles. You kidding me? Better than that. I get the message. I get the message. I'm just putting a little pressure on you in the pocket, that's all. I don't think you can scramble out of it. Yeah, yeah. The best ones climb the pocket and stand in there. Yeah. You get to see Jeremiah Love with Notre Dame. I do. Is he now top 15 pick in your opinion? Hard for me to know the draft right now, but he is a top 15 caliber player in my mind in any year. He is so much fun to watch, and I've gotten a chance to know him a little bit over the last couple years. And what a fantastic young man and driven to be great and unselfish. You know, he's got Jadarian Price and, you know, these guys encourage each other. It's like this incredible tandem of running backs that Notre Dame has. But, you know, when you watch football, Dan, I always say this. The identity of a team, the identity of a player, for me, can be defined by the most expert person and the least expert person watching the same thing and drawing the same conclusion. So Vince Lombardi goes to practice and sees Jeremiah Love practice and sees him play on. On Saturday, says, wow, that's an unbelievable football player. And Mother Teresa, who's never seen football before, she does the same thing. It says, who's. Who's number four? You know, and to me, I think it's. I think when you watch games and certain players just simply stand out above the rest, you're like, wow, that guy's different. And we have it in our game right now in the NFL. I mean, there's certain guys are like, oh, my God, who is number one for the Packers? He just seems faster than everybody. And you can go on and on on that list. So I think Jeremiah Love, for me in college football is that guy. He stands out. He's better than everybody. Else on the field. You were in Dallas, you got there. And I think 1992, I did. So the Herschel Walker trade was 1989. Yes. What was this sense when you got there of that trade and really the building blocks for winning a couple of Super Bowls? Well, I think it was critical. I think everybody recognized that at the time. And, you know, not only did they get all the picks, but they got the players and they traded the players for more picks. And, you know, there would always be these articles about, okay, you know, what are the results of the Herschel Walker trade? And I can't remember off the top of my head, but it was ended up being Russell Maryland and Emmett Smith and Tony Tolbert. And you go on and on and on about the guys that were taken as a result of that trade, who are the cornerstone players on those championship teams. And, you know, so it really was the foundation of everything. And, you know, Jimmy used to say this, that he said that, you know, I had no real expertise over everybody else in evaluating players, which I think he was. He was being modest, because I think he does. But he just had a lot of picks, and they picked all these guys and they ended up being the building blocks of some amazing teams. And so it was really significant. I do think people recognized it at the time you played the position, coach the position. But at what point do you realize that you need to move on from a quarterback? Yeah, I know the money factor is. Is big in this, but, you know, I don't know what Jacksonville has with Trevor Lawrence. I don't know what Miami has with tua. I don't know what Arizona has with Kyler. Now they're all getting paid, but at some point, there's diminishing returns there. So as a coach, when do you know that this guy is not going to give us maybe the best chance to win? Well, it's a great question. I think it's a pertinent question for this time in football because as you talk about those guys, we also talk about Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones and some of these other guys who are kicked to the curb by their organizations, and now they're thriving somewhere else. So. So I think, you know, teams are probably a little concerned about doing that again and having their guy who they've invested so much in go somewhere else and have success. To me, as we all know, it's a cliche to say it, football is the ultimate team sport. Nobody, nobody's fate is more determined by that than the quarterback. So the quarterback needs a supporting Cast, he needs linemen, he needs playmakers, he needs a runner, he needs a defense, he needs coaching, all of that. And oftentimes these guys who get picked high go to bad places where none of those things are in place and they don't know how to play yet. And so you have a double whammy there. And that they're not ready. And they're certainly not ready in this environment that they're playing in. So one of the things that's a factor for all these things is when they have so much adversity and they're part of all the losing, they. The question is, can they ever survive in that place? Do they need to go somewhere else to reinvent themselves? And I think that's what happens to a lot of these guys if they stay there, even if the environment gets better, there are too many scars, and sometimes they need to wipe the whiteboard clean and start anew. So for all those guys that you're talking about, they're not necessarily in great environments. In Miami, in Jacksonville, in Arizona, the teams around them have not been that good. And I've seen it happen with players who are the best that ever walk at that position. Troy Aikman, at the end of his career, he probably was a better player than he was when we were winning Super Bowls, right? But the supporting cast was diminished. And you can look at, you know, you pick the guy, Dan Marino, so many others who were elite, elite, best of all time guys, when the supporting cast got worse, harder for them to have success. So if that's the case for them, it certainly is the case for some of these guys. I do think at some point you have to use your football expertise and your gut to say, hey, I'm sticking with them, or I'm moving on. And oftentimes that happens with a new coach. Good to talk to you. Safe travels to Philadelphia. Play nice. Always enjoy it. Thank you, bud. That's Jason Garrett. Football night in America. Yeah. Just dawned on me that it probably still wants to coach relatively young, maybe an opportunity. And, you know, it. It dawned on me, you know, with the Giants opening there, and I thought, I wonder, you know, maybe he hasn't been contacted, but you have other people who have been maybe contacted on your behalf. I brought up Bill Belichick to the Giants. Bill Belichick responds to that question right after this. Ancient Athenians used to scratch names onto oyster shells and they called these ostracon to vote politicians into exile. So our word ostracize is related to the word oyster. No way. Bring back the ostracon. And because we've got a very mi casa es su casa kind of vibe on our show, friends always stop by. Pretty much every entry into this side of the planet was through the El Golfo de Mexico. El Golfo de Mexico Continuado a si forever and ever. It blows me away how progressive Mexico was in this moment. They had land reform, they had labor rights, they had education rights. Mustard seeds were so valuable to the ancient Egyptians that they used to place them in their tombs for the afterlife. I mentioned this yesterday, just throwing out Candidates. What if Lane Kiffin went to the Giants and coached Jackson Dart? Lane Kiffin said it's too cold there. So he was taking himself out of the running. If somebody was considering him, that's a good answer. Yeah, it's too cold there. I don't want to coach there. And then I threw out John Gruden. Is Jon Gruden in play anywhere in the, in the coaching carousel? And then I threw out. What about Bill Belichick? If you want to get back into the NFL, you want to set the all time victory record and you're able to go back to the team where you were defensive coordinator and maybe you close out your career there. I threw that out there. Well, somebody did ask Bill Belichick the question. Now I don't know what his answer is. Marvin said, hey, somebody asked Belichick about the Giants which that people are doing their job. No. Great revelation that I brought up Belichick to the Giants. Let's guess what Bill Belichick had to say. Now they play Wake Forest next. I'm guessing his answer had to do with Wake Forest. I, I would say there's a mention of. Or on to Wake Forest. Let me see how long is his answer? 39 seconds. Now is that just one question? One answer, Marvin? Oh, no. Bill Belichick. There's a follow up. Okay. Yes. There's no way Bill Belichick talked 39 seconds in a row. So there's two questions in here and two answers correct. Okay, Todd, your Bill Belichick, how do you think he answered this question? Come on, guys, we're off to a rough start. I gotta focus on one game at a time. This is my job. I'm the head coach of the North Carolina Targets. I'm not going to get into that nonsense. We got, we got Wake Forest coming up and that's. I'll take questions about Wake Forest. Okay. It's a long answer for Bill Dylan. Is that his answer? That's his answer. Pretty good. I'm just, I don't come on to Wake Forest. Marvin, what do you think focused on Wake Forest. Okay, Paul, just focus on winning the next game. I'm going to have to ask my fiance. Oh, whoa. Okay. Here is Bill Belichick. As soon as the job shop came over yesterday, your name got thrown out there. I'm certain sure. With other NFL jobs. What is your message to players, to recruits? I'm sure people are asking me about that. Who want to come in for. Yeah. Getting ready for a course. That's all I got this Week. Has anyone asked you or players or recruits want to know on the future? I mean, I've been asked about it from time to time, but yeah, look this, I've been down this road before. I'm focused on Wake Forest. That's it. And that's my commitment to this team. And next week it'll be to our next opponent and so forth. But, you know, I'm here to do the best I can for this team. Does he play Duke after Wake? I don't know if coach knows his schedule. I think they have Duke and then NC State. That's right. But that's such a coaching move to not even mention the next opponent. You're so focused on Wake. Yeah. I don't even know who we're playing next. You got everything's about weight. I don't know if I'm the Giants. I do not bring Bill Belichick in. I don't consider him. Now, would I interview him? Yes, I would, because I want him to give me information. I mean, it's still one of the greatest minds in football history. Let me hear what you have to say. Do I want to hire him and everything that goes along with this? No, I do not. Now, five years ago, I would have. Yeah. Dill, do you think he fares better with the Giants than he is currently with unc? No. They're going to be bull eligible. I know. And they've lost a couple of heartbreakers. I thought that they would win eight games this year and they almost beat Virginia. They barely lose. What, to Cal last second. So, I mean, they've done okay. It's just when they played good opponents, they've been blown out. Yeah. Paulie, don't you think deep down, as much as he would love to coach an NFL, he wants to stick it to a lot of people who bailed on him six, seven, eight weeks ago. I know UNC is not going to become a powerhouse, but if he could get them to 10 wins and sneak into a playoff someday. Vindication. Yeah, but you're already one of the greatest coaches in the history of sports. It feels like petty vindication. Like, hey, I mean, you should be great at North Carolina. That's why they brought you in. Like, I can't go. Hey, man, I'm really shocked. You did okay. You're Bill Belichick. You. You were professing this to be the 33rd team as if you're the next NFL team. You brought in Mike Lombardi. You brought in a lot of these, you know, high priced guys. You should be Good. It's not like, hey, you know what? Bill Belichick, he could still coach. He should be able to coach. Like, that's the one thing that I thought he'd be able to do. I didn't know how he would recruit. They got way too many transfers, you know, guys in the portal. But next year is what I want to see that. That's where it's like with Dion. I said, you better get him his first year, because that next year he's going to bring in some players with Travis Hunter and his son. And then we saw that they were a good team. Now his son and Travis Hunter go to the NFL, and we're starting to find out exactly what Colorado football is all about. Game day and big noon kickoff. Haven't been out there in a while. Where are the celebrities going out there anymore? Where. Where are all the celebrities going out there to watch Dion coach? Yeah, Paulie. Just to be fair to Wake Forest football, as we always try to be on this show, they're six and three and they're favored by six and a half against North Carolina. Okay, well, you go into the triad and chances are you're going to come out with a loss. Yeah. Thank you, Jeff. Don't mess with the try on. Thank you, Todd. And Todd's daughter goes to Wake Forest. She is a junior. Thank you. You're welcome. Okay. I know everybody's really curious. I wasn't. I just said that. Your daughter went there. The Dukes can be tough. They play after their competition at what, field hockey? I think they got good golf. Yes. Paulie, you mentioned Jon Gruden as a candidate for an NFL job. And I think I said, I don't think he coaches the NFL. Again, there's no reporting around this, but a lot of scuttlebutt about Arkansas football and Jon Gruden. No reporting, but they're piecing things together. They're way down Arkansas right now. Take a shot with John. What do you have to lose? Right? And if you look at what Arkansas basketball did with Cal Perry, there is a blueprint there of they have money, they have investors, but you already had Eric Musselman, and Musselman was every bit the coach. John Caliparius. Now, he's not the recruiter that John was at Kentucky, but Eric Musselman was a great coach at Arkansas. And if I'm Arkansas, I would go after Jon Gruden. Absolutely. Yeah. James in Jersey. Hi, James. What's on your mind? Hey, Dan, can you hear me? Yep. Hey, dad. You know what? How about sending Belichick to the Cleveland Browns. All right, listen, I'm an all. I'm an old time Cleveland Brown fan, and now I am disgusted on what's going on as far as Cleveland Browns are concerned. Well, it feels like they'll move on from Kevin Stefanski. You're not bringing Belichick back to Cleveland. There's no building blocks there. Like, if I'm Belichick, I'm like, okay, first of all, who's. Who's my quarterback? Well, you don't have one. And maybe you're going to have desean Watson. I don't think you want to walk into that situation. I think it was Dan Orlovsky who said maybe Stefanski to the Giants. I'm like, okay. I mean, Dan's connected. But I've. That one kind of went okay because he's probably going to lose his job in Cleveland. Yeah, Paul, you know your franchise is bad when if you fire a coach, he gets scooped up by other franchises. That's basically saying it's not Kevin Stefanski's fault that he was the coach of the Browns. The Browns are the reason they lost as a concept. Phil in Iowa. Hey, Phil. Five, five, six and a hungry 132. My daughter Daisy turns 11 today, and I was wondering if she could get a birthday shout out. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. Happy birthday. That's awesome, guys. You'll love that. Secondly, I've got a pie to the face bet for any of you that want it. I got the Chiefs coming back to win the AFC West. Let me know. Any. Anybody want a piece of that? See, I wouldn't because the odds are in their favor that they're going to. They. They have the best odds of any team in the AFC to go to the Super Bowl. So no takers here. Phil. Yeah, Paul. The Broncos are 8 and 2. They've won seven in a row. They are the least believed in 8 and 2 team of all time. And I'm not against them. I'm just saying if you had to bet on the Broncos or Chiefs right now to win that division. Well, wait, what's the Colts record? Eight and two. Okay, who do you have more trust in, the Broncos or the Colts? How about who do you have less trust? Oh, the less faith game, the less trust game. Because Denver went to the playoffs last year, the Colts have outscored their opponents by 115 points. This year, the Broncos have outscored their opponents by 62. If you want to factor that in. I'm. I'm just saying who do you have more faith in to go further this year, the Colts of the Broncos? Todd, I kind of have to exclude you from a bias aside because of Denver's defense being so great. If they can figure out the offense a little more. And they stole the game from us. Week 2 in India Anyway, so Denver really won that game. They stole it from us. Yeah, that's the Broncos. The Colts. The referee stole that thing with the leverage thing. We had that game. But you said us. Yeah, us. The Broncos. Okay. They stole the game from us. The Denver Broncos. That's why I would lean towards Denver. It was them. It was them when Russell was there. It wasn't us initially. It was us. And then I saw things unfolded. I'm like, let's ride. Yeah, Paul. Todd, quickly, before we move on, do you believe that the refs stole that game from the Broncos? I believe that it was a very weak call. I don't think it was done in an underhanded way because they wanted to make sure the Colts won. I'm being. But you keep saying stolen, so that sounds like something nefarious. Yard field goal missed, game over, Broncos win. Oh, let's throw this late leverage bull flag and all of a sudden 45 yard field goal. Good. Colts get it. Okay. Do you believe in the Colts at 8 and 2? Do you believe in the Colts more than the Broncos? You know, the Broncos in that division. You know, the Colts division's not very good. I, I guess I'm going to believe in the Broncos because I saw it last year. And you, you still have Sean Payton, Bo Nicks is taking a step back. But the Colts offense, when J.J. watt said, that's the best team I've seen this year, when that offense is gone, that's the best team that I've seen this year. And they added Sauce Gardner. Now, their defense isn't anywhere near what the Broncos is, certainly the pass rush, but their offense is a whole lot better than the Broncos. That running game, you got a great tight end. I probably. I'd lean towards the Colts potential because that offense is worrisome in Denver. Yes. Marvin, what if I add the Patriots to that? They're 8 and 2 and this is their first time at this spot. Okay, how about we take a break and put that as a poll? I gotta let that one breathe a little bit. Are you sold on the Patriots? Sold on the Colts? Sold on the Broncos. We'll have that for you. And more phone calls coming up after this. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. And on our podcast Hungry for History, we mix two of our favorite things. Food and history. Ancient Athenians used to scratch names onto oyster shells and they called these ostracon to vote politicians into exile. So our word ostracize is related to the word oyster. No way. Bring back the ostracon. And because we've got a very mi casa e su casa kind of vibe on our show, friends always stop by. Pretty much every entry into this side of the planet was through the El Golf of America. No, the America forever and ever. It blows me away how progressive Mexico was in this moment. They had land reform, they had labor rights, they had education rights. Mustard seeds were so valuable to the ancient Egyptians that they used to place them in their tombs for the afterlife. Jenna World, Jenna Jameson, Vivid Video and the Valley is a new podcast about the history of the adult film industry. I'm Molly Lambert, host of Heidi the Heidi Fly Story, and I'll be your tour guide on a wild ride through adult films. We get paid more than the men. We call the shots. In what way is that degrading? That's us taking hold of our Life. In the 1990s, actress Jenna Jameson crossed over into mainstream culture, redefined stardom, then left it all behind. I'm a powerful woman. I think that's intimidating to a man. With a cast of hundreds of actors and comedians playing key figures, we'll take a look at how adult films became legal in the 70s, hugely profitable in the 80s and 90s, and fell off a financial clinic cliff in the 2000s. Listen to Gentle World on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's okay not to be okay sometimes and be able to build strength and love within each other. Thanksgiving isn't just about food. It's a day for us to show up for one another. I'm Elliot Connie, host of the podcast Family Therapy, a series where real families come together to heal and find hope. What would be a clue that would be like? I've gotten lots of text messages from him. This one's from a little bit better of a version of him because he's feeding himself well. It's always a concern, like, are you eating well? He's actually an amazing cook. There was this one time where we had neighbors and I saved their dog and I ended up inviting them over for food. And that was like one of my proudest moments. This is family therapy. Real families, real stories on a journey to heal together. Listen to season two of Family Therapy every Wednesday on the Black Effect Podcast Network, iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If I said Patriots, Colts, Broncos, which team do you think goes further this year? Which team do you have more confidence in? Patriots. Get a New head coach, second year quarterback. And they're not afraid of anybody. And the way they played, it might be the best team in the AFC. Denver's 8 and 2. Not a good offense, great defense. The Colts, great offense. They just added Sauce Gardner. They're eight and two. The team that you think will go further now, we're going to put this up as a poll question, Dylan. Yes, we are. Okay, man. Well, I'll start with you, Marvin. I'm gonna go with the Denver Broncos. They were in the playoffs last year, so you had a little bit of experience in the postseason. And I like Sean Payton. I trust him. So I'm go with the Broncos, Dylan. The Broncos are lacking a little identity for me. You know, both the Colts and the Patriots have MVP caliber candidates on there. I'm probably gonna go with the Colts. I think Drake May is still a little green. All right, Todd. Hoping they get their offense figured out. I got to lean towards Denver just because that defense is so tough. But do you believe it? I do believe the Broncos are at least a little better than India. New England. Okay. Paul. I think the Colts are better that running game in December and January and I think they're going to get home field advantage. They've got the Texans twice and the Jaguars twice in the back half of the season. They could pile up some wins and get home field. And that could be the difference. Well, it's the cold schedule that is Colts. Oh, Denver then checking. Okay. Because you still. They'll have another game with Kansas City and the Chargers, I'm going to guess. Is that right, Todd? Yes. They got to play the charges Chiefs twice and they got to play the Chargers in Denver. Okay. Yeah. Paulie. Yeah. Denver Chiefs. Commanders, Raiders, Packers, Jaguars, Chiefs, Chargers. Okay. A couple toughies. Yeah. Got some tough sledding there and maybe, maybe three losses there. Yeah. And you know, the Patriots aren't afraid of the Bills. What's the, what's New England schedule? The Patriots host the jets at Cincinnati host the Giants. Bye week. Buffalo, Baltimore, jets again, Miami. Yeah. Dang. They could win 12 games. And then it comes down to, all right, home field advantage. Who's going to have it throughout the playoffs. But it, I mean, Patriots could win 13 games. Yes. Marvin, I think if you're a general NFL fan, you would love this because there's new blood. It's not going to be Ravens against the Chiefs or Chiefs against the Bills. Can anybody stop Patrick Mahomes? But if the, if the Chiefs get in with just by the skin of their teeth and end up going to the Super Bowl. Oh, again. I know, I know. Well, I don't know. When we get to the point where you go, all right, I give up. I have to applaud. You, like, people don't like the Chiefs, but you don't like the Chiefs because the Chiefs are always there. Or you might not like Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift, you might not like the antics of Patrick Mahomes sometimes, but at some point, you have to acknowledge they're great. That that's a modern day dynasty. You know, you just. That's who they are. That's what they're going to be. You know, Golden State was like that when they didn't have kd. When they had kd. When they didn't have kd. You still have to acknowledge, you know, the Patriots, you know, two different times in Tom Brady's career, you had to go, they're. That what they're doing is pretty incredible. Yes, Dylan. See, the Chiefs continuing to win is much less offensive to me than the Patriots having a good quarterback again and just going right back to where we were for all those years, and it was really annoying. So it's way too soon for the Patriots to pick up a good quarterback. You'd prefer, like, 10 years before they found a really good quarterback. Yeah. At least give us, like, a little bit of breathing room. Now we're just like, I'm looking at him like, is this really happening again? The Patriots are probably going to rip off another super bowl win with Drake, maybe. But they had Mac Jones. Mac Jones won 10 games. He was a Pro bowl quarterback. He was a Pro bowl quarterback. And then all of a sudden, you know, he got sent to Jacksonville. That's mean. And now you see what he's doing with the Niners. He. He's going to be the next quarterback, it feels like. Who is? The Sam Darnold, the Danny Dimes that. Hey, I got another chance here. Baker Mayfield. He's almost following Sam Darnold. Exactly. He was like, he went to Jacksonville. Darnold went to what? Panthers. And then they went to San Fran. Yeah, uh, let's see. How about we get a couple of phone calls? Ryan in Ohio. Hi, Ryan. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan, second time caller here. Cleveland Brown fan checking in. Mary Kay reported that Kevin's job is safe, actually, which makes me think it has them fingerprints all over this mess. Just proves again why owners need to keep their hands out of the football decision. I would say we're. We're pretty cursed. But the Browns will be the death of me. And to top it off, Dylan Gabriel is being nominated for Offensive Rookie of the Week after that jets game, which makes no sense at all. If that's a standard, then we must have some terrible offensive rookies in the NFL right now. So I'd say it's time to see what Sanders can do. And have a good day, Dan. All right. Kevin Stefanski doesn't even refer to Shador Sanders by name. Like, it's. I. It feels like the coach doesn't want to play Shador Sanders. Jimmy Haslam, I think, is on record as saying that we need to see, you know, what these quarterbacks can do. And that's all I said. To start this year, you have to eventually let these two quarterbacks play because you're not winning anything. And this is. We got Flacco. Let them watch him for a month and then let them take over. And that's kind of what happened here. Now I want to see if Shador Sanders can play. Then great, put him in. Let's see what he can do. I don't think the schedule's that difficult from the standpoint of they. They could get blown out. You know, I think they can be competitive in some of these games coming up. Let Shador Sanders play. Then we can finally answer that question. You know, it's like Bronnie James. Well, put him in. Let's see if he can play. Well, coaches know when you go to practice, they. They. They realize that if somebody can play and they can't play or they need time, you know, Ronnie James is just on the roster when his father retires, he's probably not going to be on the roster. I did wonder about this since we saw Post Malone when we were out in Vegas for the super bowl. And didn't he give us white Iverson? Yeah, he did. Yeah. What about maybe black Austin Reeves? Maybe remix. Yeah. Could he do a black Austin Reeves tribute song? Marvin? I think somebody black has to do the black Austin Reeves song. Oh, they do. Because Post Malone saying he's white. Iverson. Oh, okay. Because he's white. Oh, he's right. All right, so no black Austin Reeves. Black Reeves. Black Reeves. All right. You know one of the best nicknames. AR15. Yeah, he had AK47. Yeah, that was Andre Kirilenko, I believe. AK40. Now, does he still get a hall pass from his wife? His NBA career ended. Remember that story? Yeah, he got a. He got a one hall pass a NBA season, but I don't know if after this, you know, his career is over. Does he still get a hall pass there? Yes, Mark. I think he went to go play overseas. Like, you know what? I'm gonna play in Spain for a while, then Italy for a while. The G League. Yes. Todd, I respect the honesty, but why would you put something like out there publicly? I don't understand what the positive is of sharing that with the world. Given all the things that you share with the world. Fair enough. That's saying something. Yes, Paul. Yeah. This was an ESPN.com article. It wasn't on some random website. He. He talked about that, and the wife talked about that. That. Yeah. How does that topic come up? I could see. Maybe I should. I could see the wife of an NBA player saying to herself, I see the landscape of what I. Of players before. Maybe I should get ahead of this and talk to my husband and say, hey, I'm just throwing that out there. Maybe she sees. Saw the landscape and said, I'd rather be in control of this situation than a victim of this situation. But I wonder if it's more likely or less likely to happen, because now she's saying, you got a hall pass here, and then. Does he. I don't know. It almost feels like if she doesn't say anything, then maybe something happens. But then when you say, hey, all right, you got a hall pass. One hall pass. Yes. Marvin. I think she saw when he was like, man, you just play so well when you play the Clippers and the Lakers. Oh, look at LA Working, LA. Work and you stay. Yeah. Double header. Yeah. I mean it like that. Yes, Todd. So somehow it's not as fun to sneak around if you're allowed to. You're not getting away with anything. I could, so why bother? Yeah. I don't know. I don't. I throw that out there. Who knows? It's like legalized weed, you know? It's like all the fun's gone. Legalized gambling. Exactly. Yeah. It's like. And why aren't people as incredulous with the baseball gambling and as opposed to the NBA? These guys were actually. They have video of them doing this, manipulating a game, and everybody is up in arm. Oh, my God. The NBA baseball. These two guys were doing it right in front of you, and they have a paper trail where these guys were making money and there's a few hundred thousand dollars. Yes, Todd. And not only was it a pitch that was just a bit outside, we just threw it, like, right into the ground and barely got past the mound. Yeah, Paulie, if we had a video of an NBA player at the free throw line bong and went off the shot clock. It would be the biggest story in the world. Yeah, well, it's how NBA players are viewed and their sport and how baseball is viewed because even on the mothership, they're not really covering baseball. Even something like this, well, it feels like anything that's gambling and it's negative and then they'll do the bottom line and it has to do with gambling. Oh, amazing. Amazing.
