There are many versions of what happened in 1969 when a young Ted Kennedy drove a car into a pond and left a woman behind to drown. Chappaquiddick is a story of a tragic death and how the Kennedy machine took control. Every week we go behind the headlines and beyond the drama of America's royal family. Listen to United States of Kennedy on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. You are listening to the Dan Patrick show on Fox Sports Radio, Hour two on this Tuesday. Morale is high. Ish. Welcome to the program. Gangs all here. Fritzi, Seaton in the back row, Marvin and Paulie in the front row and yours truly and the back room guys as well. Stat of the day brought to you by Panini America. The official trading cards of the program, by the way. John Cena, Cody Rhodes and more of your favorite WWE Superstars takeover. MetLife Stadium for a summer party too big for just one night. It'll be SummerSlam. That'll be live Saturday and Sunday, 6 Eastern, 3 Pacific. Only on Peacock Poll. Questions? Seaton for the first hour. And what are we going to go with an hour two? Well, we had two up there for the first hour that we haven't really gotten to. Who would win in a 5k race is Ian Williamson or Rob, our video editor. Right now Rob, our video editor is winning 67% of that vote. You imagine if somebody brings this up to Zion Williamson? Just his reaction. Zion Rob from the Dan Patrick show said that he could beat you in a 5K. Your thoughts? Yes. Polling. What if it went the opposite? And Zion opening camp with I just want to make a statement here about the situation. Might as well address the elephant in the room here. Yes. Rob from the Dan Patrick show. He posted his time for a 5k. And my goal this season is not to make the playoffs or the all star game. It's to beat Rob's 5k time. I don't know why he picked on Zion. Yes, Marvin, I know. I think Zion was on his fantasy basketball team. That's what it stems down to. Wow. Look, I'd bet my yearly salary on zion in a 5K. Oh, easily. What about a hundred meter dash your salary? Wow. Okay. I don't think this is going to happen. I can't even get Rob, one of the back room guys, to race the other people in the building. And the winner gets 500. The fastest person in the building. I'm putting up $500 and he says that he's not going to run in that race. Even though I came up with the idea of giving $500 to the winner because of Rob, I'm thinking if you can beat Zion, you're the fastest guy. Although Anthony, who's the youngest in the building, and Ray, those are probably the two guys to beat. But $500, it's still there. But I need everybody in the building. I need Tyler, I need the big German. I need everybody, everybody to put on their shoes and get ready to go race 100 meters. Yes, Marvin. Oh, you want everyone to race? Yes. So everyone in the building. Everyone in the building. If you're going to be the fastest in the building, you have to race against everybody in the building. How are we going to get three heats of four if everybody doesn't race? We can't. Yes. Do it. That's what I'm saying. Olympic rules. Yes. So big German, he's going to have to run. Everybody's going to have to run. I'm not. No, I can't. You're not going to be the fourth can't. You didn't get a buy. And then it could be the three winners and then you. I got a replacement knee. Has anybody had any surgeries on their legs? And the answer is no. I've had surgery for everybody in here. Still able to walk and just move around a little bit here. But yeah, I've had way too many surgeries and a replacement knee. The last thing I want is I go down. And then all of a sudden they say, oh, you need a new replacement knee. Like it's. Hey, but I won't get the 500. I'm not eligible for the $500. I'm there to just show support with team building and content. That's what this is about. Yes, Marvin, but DP stop acting like you're Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump just had a replacement knee. Come on out there, join us. No, technically, your replacement is probably in better shape than all of our knees. Our original knees. Maybe, Maybe. But Todd, will you run? I think that would probably be a very bad idea. Not to mention the fact that I have no chance of winning. And if I injure easily at wiffle ball and pickleball, why would that, you know, when you have no chance of winning when you don't run. I'm very convinced, based on sausage race and plantar fasciitis and elbows and everything else, it's probably something I should narrate at best. Okay. Yes. What if the rule is everybody has to participate? Yeah. Your level of effort is up to you. Okay. So if Todd wants to be in, he's free to walk the 3.1 miles. Oh, no, we're not doing 5K. Oh, we're not. I don't think. Oh, I thought the challenge was a 5K. No. Oh, it's 100 yard dash. Like, I can't. I can't. 100 yards. Yes, it's 100 meters. 100 meters. 100 meters. It's the difference between a meter and a yard. Oh, no, look at us. 5. Yeah. Todd should know, if you know what I mean. It's been a while since I did those kind of math. Metrics. Algebra was my thing, okay. Oh, it was. I could prove like, oh, geometry man. I could prove two triangles congruent. They're basically the same thing. The isosceles triangle always gave me trouble. And you got the transversal and the parallel lines and opposite angles, vertical angles. Pythagorean theorem. Those things always. They always trip me up. Not a great time. No, it's terrible. Acute at obtuse angles and supplementary and complementary angles. Yes, Paul, a meter is slightly longer than a yard. About 9% longer. Okay, I still don't know what that means. No, I'm trying to help. Okay, so each meter. So then it's nine. So a hundred yard dash would be a little shorter than 100 meter dash. Yes. Which we should sign up for the 100 yard. But what. What is the difference between 100 yards and 100 meters? Like, what's the distance about? It's about 10 yards. It's almost about 9 meters more. Okay, 10 meters. 10 yards. I mean. Okay, whatever. Okay, so Deion Sanders is going to coach. He talked about his cancer diagnosis and sounded confident that he was going to coach and had this to Say, I always knew I was going to coach again. I never didn't realize I was going to coach again. I was always going to coach. It was never in my spirit, in my heart that God wouldn't allow me to coach again. That's never thought like that. Okay. Bladder cancer. And he was very forthcoming. And as he said at the very end, get tested. Yeah, I've said this before. Colonoscopy. Do not wait till you're 50. Do not they tell you to wait. Or when you get to 50, do not wait. You should be doing colonoscopies when you're in your 30s. There's, there's just no reason where you go, you know, I'm supposed to wait till I'm 50. Don't wait till you're 50. Do it, do it in the, you know, when you turn 30, when you turn 35, when you do, you know, every five years if you want to, but don't wait until you're 50. Yes, Todd. And it should be said. And you. We both know it's nothing to be afraid of. It's not painful. They put you out. The drinking of the gunk that makes you run to the bathroom is not a great time, but it is essential. And I just wanted to echo those sentiments. And it's not something to be scared of doing. And they made it easier, you know, as far as what you ingest, the, the, the liquid, it's not what it used to be, thankfully, but do it. And it, it just got to take a day. That's it. But it's obviously well worth it. Yes. Yeah, I just had one not too long ago. Yeah, sometime in the last, like, I don't know, three months, six months, something like that. No big deal. Yep. Gotta do it. Yeah, gotta do it. All right, so let me see. Cortland Sutton, Broncos locked him up. Not sure if you're familiar with Bernhard Ryman. He, he just signed a four year deal for $100 million. He is the left tackle for the Indianapolis Colts. Okay. I'm gonna guess he's pretty good. 27 years of age and 4 years. A hundred million dollars. So you're starting to see some of these players being brought in. Maybe Trey Hendrickson. That's going to happen. Rashawn Slater got paid, too. The Chargers offensive lineman. Man, be a tackle when you grow up, but you got to be the size to be a tackle. But they get paid, especially a left tackle. But Slater got paid by the Chargers here. But Terry McLaurin still on the outside and Trey Hendrickson as well, did we come up with a poll question for hour two, Seton? Yeah. We still have one more from hour one that we haven't addressed. Okay. Which I put up there, and I don't know, I just did it. No, not yours, Paulie. Not yet. Who was the bully in segment one? Dan or Todd? Oh, you want to take a guess on that one? I guess I'm the bully. Yeah. 74% have you as the bully. I'm shocked that Todd's number is that high. I think that's the. Coming back into the suck it back row portion of the audience. There are people who are going to vote against Todd for everything. And Todd does want to know, if you say suck, why does the back row suck? That he wants to know. And Seaton wants to know because he's being lumped in with Todd. When you say suck it back row. And Seaton wants to. Yeah. You want the jaws of life to take you out of the back row when it comes to suck it back row. Yes, Todd. That poll should be, like, 88, 12. If we're gonna just kind of put the cards out, it's only three to one. It's only 74. 26. I don't know. I gotta. Maybe I need to throw in a couple of votes and stack the odds a little. I apologize if you think. I'm not looking for an apology. I'm just saying I'm surprised. It's not like. No, it just feels like. It just feels like. It just feels like it's another one of your gaslight things you're doing. No, no, no. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. But you have admitted to me that you would rather that I had fun with you in the context of the show. Absolutely. To not call on you. Correct. Absolutely. Okay. All right. We do have odds to win the hypothetical 100 meter dash. Just got this in from DraftKings. Anthony, the production assistant, is your leader. He has the best odds and kind of an overwhelming favorite. He is 22 years of age with strange eating habits. Ray. Ray is the producer of the gambling podcast Seaton. Seaton's got the third best odds according to DraftKings to win the hypothetical 100 yard dash. 100 meter dash weeks are cameraman. Then it's Marvin, then it's Rob, who claims to be faster than Zion Williamson, Mario Dylan, Paul, the big German, and then Todd. So we do have the odds. Now we just have to beat the odds and try to get everybody to line up on a track and run this race. All Right. Do we have any time to train for this? Well, you should have been training in the last 30 years for this. I mean, for this one specific event. Yes, it is a 30 year build up. Yes, yes. You should be ready to go. I brought this up a couple of months ago. I thought we actually were going to do this. That's when you should have taken the time to do some stretching and get ready for the Hypothetical Very pathetical 100 meter dash. See what I did with that, Todd? Very clever. Thank you. Yes. Paul, let's say the race were scheduled for next week. I think training for it might be the worst idea because all you're going to do is probably injure something, pull something and tire yourself out. It's better just to walk in that day, hit it and deal with the fallout. Now, Marvin claims to have been really, really fast when he was younger. I said fast. I say really, really. Oh, okay. But fast now, you know, fast is, you know, that's in the eye of the beholder. But I'm gonna take, you know, take you at your word that you were 4, 5, 40 guy. No, no, no, no. 4, 6, 8. 4, 6, 8 was your best 40 yard dash, correct? Yes. Okay, and you're now a what could you beat Rich Eyes in a 40 yard dash? What was his time outlook? Is he like upper five seconds? Maybe. Maybe a five, eight, five, nine, something like that. Does that sound right for Rich? Yes. Yes. Paulie Rich's most recent 40 time was 6.25 seconds. His best time ever. He had to go back to 2016. A great year for him. 5.94. Okay. Yeah, those days are gone. That's a nice number. It is. Hey, and he raises a lot of money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. They're the big winners there. Yes, Paul, it takes him so long to run the race. You have time to donate during. Wow, he would smoke me. No, it's like a funny joke. Could you beat Rich Rich Eisen? Probably not. In a 40 yard. Yeah, speed is not my thing. I don't know what else is. What is your thing? Archery. Archery. Archery. Yeah. Yeah, mostly archery. Wrestling. No, I was not. I did it. I didn't do it. Well, but you would probably out wrestle anybody in here and you'd be a better archer than anybody in here. I would hope so. You would convince if I wasn't like the third best archer. Okay, we did not accomplish anything there. But let's take a break here, okay? Take a break. We'll talk some football. We have a. We have a great foot fun football game coming up. Chris Paul back with the Clippers and he talked about that. I don't know how long he's going to play. He played every single game last year for the Spurs. He appeared in every single game. I love that. All right, we'll take a break and we'll come back after this of the Dan Patrick Show. Be sure to catch the live edition of the Dan Patrick show, weekdays at 9am Eastern, 6am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. Hey, we're Covino and Rich, Fox Sports radio every day, 5 to 7pm Eastern. But here's the thing. We never have enough time to get to everything we want to get to. And that's why we have a brand new podcast called Over Promised. You see, we're having so much fun in our two hour show. We never get to everything honestly, because this guy is over promising things we never have time for. Yeah, you blubber lips blaming me. And if Rich and I are arguing about something or we didn't have enough time, it will continue on our after show called Over Promised. Well, if you don't get enough Covino and Rich, make sure you check out Over Promised and also uncensored by the way, so maybe we'll go at it even a little harder. I knew I wanted to obey and submit, but I didn't fully grasp for the rest of my life what that meant. In the woods of Minnesota, a cult leader married himself to 10 girls and forced them into a secret life of abuse. Why did I think that way? Why did I allow myself to get so sucked in by this man and and thinking to the point that if I died for him, that would be the greatest honor? But in 2014, the youngest of the girls escaped and sparked an international manhunt. For all those years, you know, he was the predator and I was the prey. And then he became the prey. But it's also not the end of your life. That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us. And I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Lea Trittate. On my new podcast, the Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back healing and reveal what it actually looks like and sounds like in real time. Each week I sit down with people who've lived through harm, carried silence, and are now reshaping the systems that failed us. We're going to talk about the adultification of black girls mothering as resistance and the tools we use for healing. The Unwanted Sorority is a safe space, not a quiet space. So let's lock in. If you're a music fan and you've watched the Billy Joel documentary or you haven't and you need to, it's sort of become the musical version of the Last Dance with Michael Jordan where it's like, oh, have you seen it? If you better see it, it's unbelievable. And especially for Todd, because that's right in his wheelhouse. Billy Joel, all the songs. And Todd can tell you the order of the songs on the album. Like glass houses. You may be right. Sometimes the fantasy don't ask me why it's still rock and roll to me. And all for Lena would be side A. Yeah. Side B. I know Close to the Borderline is like the second to Last dog. And then there's OO Set at Twice Some kind of French sleeping with the television on. Is that part of side B? That's eight of the 10, I think, right there. Maybe not big hits on the B side. No. Okay. Yes. Paul. I don't know if I have to see the documentary because I've heard about it incessantly for the past 48 hours. Every detail. You should. You should. It's like it's like Happy Gilmore, too. Yeah. Like, you should just see it now. Billy Joel is probably five hours of. You know, it's. It's in two pieces. That's a lot of Bill. It is a lot of them. How much is Christy Brinkley? That helps. She's. She's in it the second episode. She looks stunning. But, of course, she always looks stunning. And, no, it's really well done because he. He's very, very forthcoming with this. He's. It just feels like he pulls back the layers of all the things that have happened to him and his father and no relationship and been married three times and how people viewed his music. And, you know, he had Springsteen in there talking about his music. Garth Brooks is in there. Sting is in there. Paul McCartney's in there. In fact, Paul McCartney said the one song that he wishes he would have written is a Billy Joel song. Right, Todd? Yes. I'm trying to remember which one that was. Wow. I didn't memorize the show. It was five hours. This is McCartney saying the one song that Billy Joel wrote, and you don't know it. I know it wasn't Captain Jack. It's not Piano Man. Yes. Seaton. The reason Todd doesn't take Paul McCartney's opinion seriously. He's not a big Beatles guy. He's like, what does Paul McCartney know? Great songwriting. Billy Joel should be saying the one Paul McCartney song that I. Best song by the. By Paul McCartney, I think was banned on the run, and that was Wings. That wasn't even the Beatles. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Yeah. Which one are you gonna go with? So you got Paul McCartney and Springsteen in there, and you don't like either one of them? I'd say I don't like them. I just. I don't know what the. You make fun the hubub about Springsteen and McCartney. I respect their longevity and the fact that a lot of people love it. But I'm missing out on something. I don't know. See? All right. I don't know what that is. Why is that a good thing? So this is where people say, I'm picking on you. I'm bullying you. I'm berating you. Actually, I'd like to do something even more severe to you than those, because these are silly comments. Some people are followers, though. In life. It's like, oh, I'll wear that pair of pants, too, or I'll wear those sneakers, or, everyone loves the Beatles. I guess I'm supposed to love them. Oh, everyone's crazy about Bruce Springsteen. I should like the Boss or it looks like, I don't know, music. So, yeah, Springsteen is still writing. Billy Joel doesn't write music anymore. Springsteen doesn't either. When's the last time Billy Joel wrote a hit? It's been a little while. It's decades. Springsteen's still writing stuff. Still writing stuff that's relevant. McCartney's still writing music at his age. Is it relevant, though? I don't know. I'd have to look at the lyrics, maybe. Maybe McCartney isn't, but I don't know how relevant. You know Billy Joel's Hey, Piano Man, Play me a song. Well, you say it like that, it really kind of demeans it a little bit. It sounds a little better on the actual airwaves. Song. I don't think that's how it goes. Play me a song tonight we're all in the mood for melody I'm feeling all right There you go. Thank you. Yes. Paul. This is the part, though, the Billy Joel documentary that I would actually like to hear about. He stopped making pop music. His last saw musical album of original work, 1993. That's 32 years. Was that a smart move by him? Because a lot of people only want the early work of an artist or the hit work of an artist. If you go to see you too, you want their first 15 years of songs. A lot of people, yeah. I wonder if that was a smart move by Billy Joel to not produce any more new music. Yeah, I'm sure he would love to write new music because if it's in you and you experience things and then you want to write it down, and I don't have any problem. You know, I saw hall and Oates and they started playing new music and the reaction was not good at all. Meanwhile, John Fogarty warmed up was the warm up act. He played all of his hits and people fell in love again with John Fogarty. I, you know, you play what you think your audience wants to hear. I mean, that's really what it comes down to. You'll find bands that go, we got to play this song again. Yes, yes. That's why we're here. Yeah, I would like to. I'd like to hear that. Is that okay? Yes. Seton. Yeah, it was tough, too. And certain cities always get great shows. And then there's other cities that are almost used as like a warm up for the tour. So I live in one of those warm up cities. And it has happened several times when you go see a band and it's the very first date of their tour and we actually had this one dude, this band Lucero, who's really, really good, he stood up there and opened the show by going, you know, everybody wants to hear the songs that they know. And he stood up there and they played one song, and he's like, well, we're gonna be jerks tonight, because we're only playing new stuff. We're warming up for the tour. We were like, oh, dude, this sucked. What do you. But at least he just said like, well, we're gonna be jerks tonight. We're playing a lot of new stuff. We'll get some old ones in out of the way. But we're trying to figure out how this set works. Also, when you look at the life of a comedian and the life of a musician. Musician, you can play the same songs over and over and over. Comedians can't do that. For them to go out on tour and do another stand up, you know, special, they have to have new material. Musicians don't have to. In fact, we want you to play all the old stuff. Imagine if you. You get up there and all of a sudden you're telling the same joke that you told 20 years ago, 30 years ago. Yes, Seaton. Is it weird, though, that sometimes I like hearing comics tell the jokes I already know? But David Sedaris, great writer. Yes. One of the funniest people in America. Yes. When I saw him do a show, he reads from his book, and it. So the book is new material, but he's just reading from his book, and it's hilarious. But he's able to tell those stories. Even when you go see David Sedaris in concert, people yell out, tell the story about. You know, this. Tell the story about. He's able to do that, but he's telling stories. And I guess that's different than telling a joke. He's telling you a story and anecdote, and I think that's the difference. But, gosh, to be a comedian and just keep cranking out stuff, that is difficult. And the joke that you told 20 years ago doesn't hold up now, for whatever reason, you know, you're trying to do a modern spin on an old joke, you get comedians who are repurposing jokes from people. Yeah, Seaton. Yeah. Like, there are some comics, like Bill Burr, say, or Shane Gillis, whatever I've watched or listened to online, them tell the same jokes a dozen times, maybe a hundred times. Some of them, because they're so funny, they make me laugh every single time. Bill Burr actually has a lot that have gone by the wayside yes, yes. Like, oh, man, whatever happened to that stand up special? It's not around anymore. Oh, but they're just as funny. Some of that material is just as funny. Twenty years later, Paul McCartney has publicly stated that he wishes he had written the Billy Joel song just the way you are. He says that he admires the song and wishes that he had written the song himself. A lovely song. Yes, it is, but you didn't know that. I forgot. Yeah. I did watch every second of the five hours, but it slipped my mind which one he preferred. But that does make sense. That is a very nice one. I mean, you do think, or you would remember if Paul McCartney said, you know, that's the one. He. He wrote a lot of really good songs, Todd. I think if Daryl hall had said that, I would remember that just the way you are was Daryl Hall's favorite. Over run dmc. Corey in Panama City. Hi, Corey. What's on your mind today? Hey, man. I just wanted to say suck it, Todd, and hope you'll have a great day. Wait, could you tell us why you say suck at Todd? Oh, no, no, no. He just asked for it, so no reason. Oh. Oh, okay. So no reason behind that. You okay with that? I guess. So the assignment was, you know, to elaborate a little further as to why you feel that way. Yeah, that's if. If you feel that way, you can tell Todd that Todd is now inviting that criticism. And it works both ways. If you happen to really like one of us, please share with what the positive things are. Okay, so both sides. Yes. Paul, I don't think it's healthy to want to know why people would dislike you. That seems like you shouldn't ignore it or not care about it. Well, Todd's kind of a glutton for punishment there. I think it's an opportunity to get better and improve. It's like. You know what, you got a point there, Ralph from Salt Lake City, but you never. You never change anything. No, ultimately, I'm gonna do what I want, and that's my personality. Like it or don't like. I'd like to think more people like me than don't, but, you know, not everyone's gonna love you. That's just the world we live in. Yes. Yeah, I mean, it's kind of a. We're in a unique situation where people have indirectly been encouraged to call in and tell one group or another to suck is kind of a nice extension of this. I don't know, this bit's been going on for a good dozen years or so. Why exactly do we need to suck it? I don't know. I think it's a natural extension of this storyline. Pretty sure shirts were made too. We actually marketed. They were. It was a contest to see which row sucked it more. Yeah. The front or back? Suck it, front row. Suck it, back row. Yeah. Is the front row bothered by Marvin Paulie suck at front row? No, I'm all good. Yeah. For whatever reason, we don't get it near as much historically. Okay. But no, not bothered. I think once I moved to the back row, the front row started getting a lot more. And then when I was in the front row, we almost never got it because it was Andrew and Todd back here. That is just real suck it territory right there. The dark cloud of the hotbed of suck itness. Hotbed, yeah. That is just ground zero right there. Todd in Indiana. Hi, Todd. Hey, Dan. Hey, Fritzi. As a fellow to double D, you stay strong, brother. All right. I appreciate that. The reason I'm calling, you're talking about doing this. This race. And I'm in Valparaiso, Indiana, just down the road from South Bend. You guys are coming to South Bend? Tire rack has got a wonderful test track there and I own a race timing business. I time 5Ks and marathons and all sorts of different races. So I would be more than happy to set up a showdown for the Dan Patrick show in South Bend. You guys get your time to train. I think it'd be a fun event for everyone. Okay. I'll take that under consideration. Todd, I don't know who's going to run this race, but if 500 goes to the fastest person on the Dan Patrick show or it can go to a charity of your choice. Yes, Todd. I don't know why I'm saying this, because he stuck up for me. So, Todd, Indiana has the only stopwatch that exists in the. In the country. Wow. Wow. My phone has something very similar. You guys have that. I also haven't watched it. That's why we hate you. It was a nice gesture on his part, Todd. I know. He said like he does that for a living. He's a professional timer of events. I don't catch Jim in Michigan. Hi, Jim. What's on your mind today? I just wanted to touch base with you. I consider you very literate in terms of your music taste. And I know you campaigned for Foreigner to get into the hall of fame. I wanted to get your thought on jets or tunnel. I grew up in my collegiate years. Loved them. I didn't know if you had any Particular affection or dislike for that particular group. That was in my wheelhouse. Sitting on a park bench. I didn't see Jethro Tull in concert. I guess I couldn't get by the. What was he playing the flute? And he was in tights. He comes running out. Yeah. And I like it. But, but, but I did have aqualung. I, I. Snot is running down his nose. Yes. Bully. I remember as a young man being very confused when I found out Jethro Tull was not a person. Yeah. Ian Anderson is the name. I expected to see a person named Jethro up on stage. Yeah. Didn't he do Thick as a Brick? I believe. But I think he had two albums that I remember having in my collection. But I'm busy with other hall of Fames. I got to get Sonny Vaccaro in the Basketball hall of Fame. I gotta get Barry Melrose into the Hockey hall of Fame. Mel Kuiper into the Football hall of Fame. But they shouldn't be that difficult. Foreigner. Out of nowhere. Out of nowhere. But I really believe that they should have been in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame. And they finally got in. So I was very happy for that. They got a lot of hits there. Let's get a couple more phone calls in here. Rob in Austin. Hi, Rob. What's on your mind today? 6 foot, 175. And yesterday you were talking to Gronk and it got me thinking. I forgot about that Julio Jones catch. Yeah. And I was just wondering, what's the best catch you've ever seen? Regardless of the situation? It could be out of bounds or whatever. And in your Sports center days, he played. He's a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Steelers. And can you say his name for me? Heinz Ward. Thank you. Thank you, Rob. The greatest catch I've ever seen on a football field. I would, I would put Edelman's catch against the Falcons because of the importance of it. You can watch that over and over and still come away going, I don't know how he caught that ball. I, I just don't know how he caught that ball. But every possession counted and you're down eight points. If I'm. I'm just looking at the importance of the catch. That, that comes to mind because we were talking about it yesterday with Gronk. Chris in California. Hi, Chris. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. Good morning. You know, I'm gonna have to agree with Todd. I think the Beatles are overrated. If you did a poll of more songs on your Playlist. Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, the Beatles. I think we're just growing that we have to love the Beatles. They were pioneers and I get that. But no one really listens to their songs on my playlist. I have Band on the Run and like Todd said, that's a wing song. I just think we've been grown that you have to like the Beatles. I don't think they're that good. Give me hauling notes over the Beatles. Todd. I'm sorry. That's what I'm talking about. That just was about as well said as you can, really. Thank you, Chris. Thank you. All right. God bless him. I. I don't. I don't need to defend the Beatles. I don't. I won't. You know, it's. It's eye of the beholder or ear of the beholder. Yes, you. There is a certain amount of. Like, if you're doing a list, you have to start with some order of Beatles, Rolling Stones. Like Led Zeppelin. Like importance. Right? I guess, yeah. But what else would you base it off of? They all had. Sure can't be songwriting. Wow, she loves you. And you know, that can't be bad with the Stones. I'm kidding. Stones could write some music. Zeppelin. I. I never liked the lyrics. I didn't think the lyrics were great. They're not great, you're right. But the song, the sound. Nobody had that sound yet. An unbelievable lead singer. You had Greatest rock and roll drummer and you can make the argument. Greatest rock and roll guitarist. Led Zeppelin's lyrics are not much different than Tiptoe through the Tulips. Essentially the same thing. Well, they were doing what. What was the book? The. Like Hobbit. Yeah, yeah. The Lord of the Rings. Hobbit. And I don't like any of that stuff, but Kendall Fizz. Motor, Motor, Motor. There's a. There's a lyric in one of their songs. Yeah. But I can be honest about Zeppelin. I love Zeppelin. But the lyrics are not good. Not good. But that. The sound. Sound is awesome. It is. Yes, it is. But the. I mean, the Beatles were a boy band who. Then they changed music. What? They did. Oh, my God. Now I'm not going to defend them. Don't need to defend him. Stay in your lane. Yes. Oh, no. Stay in my lane. Haul and oats. Better than the Beatles. I mean, I get Oasis saying they're better than the Beatles just because of those, you know, the two brothers, you know, but I guess they sold more album. I forget what they based that off of. Oasis came out and said we're better, bigger, better than the Beatles. And I just remember like five songs from Oasis. But they were, they were great song, unbelievable songs. Yes. Yeah, they do. I forget who the DJ is in England or in the uk. Who always does like the best bands ever. Yeah. And I think they, I think he does it almost every year, probably around New Year's. And it was a big deal when finally for the first year, Oasis jumped to the Beatles to go to number one. It's a very big deal. Okay. I mean, I'd see him in concert. Heck yeah. I'd never seen him in concert. I just would make sure I'm not on the Kiss cam, especially if I'm there with my brother. It's going to get awkward for you and Anthony. Yes. When I take Anthony up to a show in Bangor, Maine. Come on, Anthony, we're going to see Oasis. I'll be holding on to him. Yes. Paul does it, and this is obvious, it helps the Beatles legacy that they didn't stick around too long for a number of reasons. But like they were. They had an eight year run of relevancy, 1963 to 1971 to not even. And that's it. When they made songs, they only toured for two and a half years worldwide. They were never a touring band. Right. And that made them more desirable. And my not putting out bad albums at the end or way after. But what they put out, it was great album after great album. They were sort of like Sandy Koufax. Yes. They had a window of seven, you know, six, seven, eight years where you went, damn. We don't talk about Sandy Koufax though anymore. But we do still talk about the Beatles and we'll talk about the Beatles the rest of our life and our children's lives. Yes, Paul, like an athlete, like Barry Sanders, never putting out bad work or staying too long. Athletes like that, a shorter great career with no faults. Let's take a break. We're going to play a fun NFL game. We'll do so next. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. For My Heart Podcasts and Rococo Punch this is the Turning River Road. I knew I wanted to obey and submit, but I didn't fully grasp for the rest of my life what that meant. In the woods of Minnesota, a cult leader married himself to 10 girls and forced them into a secret life of abuse. Why did I think that way? Why did I allow myself to get so sucked in by this man and thinking to the point that if I died for him, that would be the greatest honor? But in 2014, the youngest of the girls escaped and sparked an international manhunt. For all those years, you know, he was the predator and I was the prey. And then he became the prey. Listen to the Turning river road on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. But it's also not the end of your life. That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us. I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Lea Tritate. On my new podcast, the Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back healing and reveal what it actually looks like and sounds like in real time. You're still hovering at about 75, which is great. Who would win in a 5k race? Zion Williamson or Rob, our video editor? Right now, Rob holding steady at about 67% of that vote. We also have. This is one from Paul. You can have one of these $250,000 or be completely jacked. Okay. We did something at the end of the show yesterday that. What was it? You had $500,000 or you can flip a coin and if you guess right, you get $30 million or nothing. And I think Fritzi, you and Seaton lost. Yes. Okay. We went for the 30 million and we ended up with nothing. All right. But Marvin and Paulie, I think Dylan ended up. They ended up getting their $30 million. Yeah, yeah. But that was a. Would you do that in real life? That's about the pay structure here, too, actually. I think is the front row gets 30 million. Wow. Wow. Yes, Marvin. What needs to be said? Yeah. Yes, Princess. Took the words out of my mouth. Just saying what needed to be said. Yeah. Would you do that? $500,000. Flip a coin. But I'm not going to make it 30 million. I'm going to make it 5 million. So it's 500,000 or 5 million. Flip a coin. Todd, would you flip the coin for the 500,000 to get 5 million? I would walk away with the 500,000 and not risk. What about you? So what? Explain it again. 500,000. You just give me 500,000. Yes. Or you can bet it on a coin toss to get 5 million. Man, $500,000 is a lot of money. So it's 5 million. Yeah, I'll go. I'll go for the 5 million. Okay. But you get nothing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'll just be exactly what I am now. Yes, Marvin. Which $500,000 would be an insane amount of money for me to have right now. However, 5 million is worth the coin flip. All right, Marvin. Coin toss. No. 500,000. Paulie, I would do the coin toss. Five million is. Put your feet up money. Let's do the quick NFL game. We'll go around the room. Paulie, give us the rules of the quick, fun NFL game. We do this every year. It's a little negative. Who's the most unlosable player in the NFL? That if this team. This team lost this player, he was injured for the season. You're like, they're done taking away quarterbacks. Quarterbacks are off the board. Okay, but isn't this most valuable, Most unlosable? I know, but is that another way of saying the most valuable is the most unlosable? It's more fun than the mupp. Todd, who is the MUP taking quarterbacks out? Saquon Barkley came to mind that the Eagles would be in a lot of trouble if they didn't have Saquon Barkley. Still be very good, but they wouldn't be anywhere near as dangerous. Okay, Seaton. Most unlosable player. The Muppets, man. It's probably some kind of edge rusher for somebody. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Bengals and Hendrickson, they should really wrap him up. That's an unlosable player for me. Okay, Marvin. Justin Jefferson. All right, Paul. I'm going. T.J. watt. That's a tenuous offense. They live on their defense. He's still fantastic. He's off the team. They're not making the plays. I would say Aiden Hutchinson because we saw what happened when they didn't have him. And that's a team that can win the super bowl because you have to look at, okay, are we going to make the playoffs? Are we going to win a game in the playoffs? The Lions, it's win a Super bowl. And I would say not having him, you know, help prevent them from going to the super bowl last year. Yes. Yes. Marvin, are The Lions the 1 seed as team with the most pressure to win a Super Bowl? It's getting there. Like the Niners were there for a few years, but they're not there anymore. I would say the Bills in the Lions, Ravens. Yeah, yeah, I think you can. I think you could lump those. All those, those three together. Coming up, we'll talk some football. Daniel Jeremiah, former NFL scout. He went to the Eagles camp. He's at the Chargers camp today. Works for NFL Network. He'll join us in the final hour after this. I'm Ian Pfaff, the creator and host of the Uncle Chris podcast.
