The official trading cards of the program. This Saturday, it's the ultimate all day live celebration Kentucky Derby. Tune in on NBC and streaming on Peacock, which is where you can find this show. Say good morning to our radio affiliates around the country. 8773DP show operator Tyler sitting by. He'll take your phone calls. Luca and LeBron, they weren't together for too long, but. But they reunite and give it one more go. Or maybe a little more than that. LeBron with one more year on his deal, Luke has got to look around and go, what's the future of this team in a year or so when LeBron decides to retire? We'll talk to Dave McMenamin of the Mothership. He covers the Lakers. He'll join us coming up. Also, I just found out that we are going to be on Celebrity Family Feud. Steve Harvey reached out. He said, would you like to be on Celebrity Family Feud? And I said, I would. Who am I going to be on with? And then he said, well, your team and I go, oh, okay. I thought it was on with other celebrities, but we are going to be going against the Rich Eisen show. Let's go. I gotta brush up on my Family Feud. I haven't watched in a while. There's usually a clip and there's usually a clip where Steve Harvey will look to the camera and just give you that look like what just happened. Guaranteed to have at least one of those because of you, Fritzi. When we do Celebrity Family Feud, I think we do this in a couple of weeks. Maybe we could rehearse because we, we have to be all together here on this. Can you, can you rehearse, Marvin? More importantly, what are we wearing? Oh, I don't you know, they actually did give me a printout of what to wear and not wear. Oh, I'll share that with. Actually, actually, I. Maybe I shouldn't share it with you. I'll just let you wear what you want to wear. Survey says. Are we going to be all supportive of each other? Like, good answer. Good answer. Even if one of us has a horrible answer that we know is not up there, we do that now. We do do that. Like, I do that for you. Yes, you do. Yes. But, yeah, we do have to fake, you know, our love for one another here. Is that what we're going to do? I think so. There. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. What's. What's the most important thing here to be entertaining or to win? Do we want to have goofy answers? No, I think we got to take it very seriously and win. I think it'd be pretty entertaining to win personally. You're caught up on this winning thing, like the sports Emmy. You want to win it. I just want to get nominated. Like, you put too much pressure on us. No, I don't. To win. No, I don't. Yeah, yeah, we feel the pressure. Oh. Like, it could be a disappointment if we don't win. Yeah. Yes, it is a disappointment when we don't win over and over again. Yes. At this point, the first time, we were like, wow, I can't believe we're nominated. We're nominated again. It's like our sixth time now or something. Let's win one. It's a stupid. Yes. Todd, I have two questions. One, do we know what charity we want to play for? Secondly, if we do win, and then you got to have the bonus round. You got to pick two people from the group to try to get the 200 points to win the charity money. Oh, boy. That's a can of worms right there. Only two can play that. Final part of Family Feud. Big money. Okay. You're going to be in the final. The gutsy decision. Yeah. Yeah. Because. No. Why? Okay, you guys don't. So nobody wants Todd in the. In the final round. I'm just curious why that you were so quick to say that. Well, it just feels like he's very creative, you know, imagination. He loves these game shows, and he's probably watched them quite a bit. Or you're setting me up for failure and name of pet ostrich. You're right. What is better content? That's what I always thought when I was in fourth grade that one time I did a paper on ostrich. I always thought that would make a great Pets. Okay. Something you put on a hamburger bologna. Wow. I mean, salon. I'm panicking. You don't put a salami on there either. You don't want to pass. Okay. Be one of those pass where you just get zero automatically. Okay, maybe this isn't a good idea, but we did agree to be on Celebrity Family Feud. Yes, Todd, in pressure situations, you have no idea which way it's going to go. If you go back to Sports Jeopardy. That didn't go well. He would self implode. Yes, that did not go well. He panicked. See, that's what concerns me. When you. When you get on the clock, you might panic, Todd. Well, I know the one where I said instead of saying the Giants won the pennant, I went with and they're going crazy is the one. I thought that was the answer. And you didn't do it in the form of a question. And they're going crazy. I didn't even say what is they're going crazy. It was obvious to the whole world. And the. The Giants won the pen. They're going crazy. And they're going crazy. Now let me go back to one of my initial questions. Are we trying to entertain or are we trying to win? Okay. Would you rather lose and be entertaining or boring and win? I'd rather lose and be entertaining. Wrong. No. You want to go viral. That's what it's about. The kids like to go viral. Wrong. Yes. Why can't it be both, though? I don't think we don't have to purposely give silly answers. We can try to win, but we can still be engaging and fun. With Steve Harvey and the. The Eisen guys, there's ways to be entertaining and still be. I don't say cutthroat, but want to ultimately win the game? I think we can accomplish both of those things. Okay, who do we want then? What's it called? What's the final Big Money. Is that what's going on? Is that what it's. I think Fast money. Play for fast Money. All right, Fast money. Fast money. Who do we want as the two people to play for fast money? Todd, do you want to be in that situation? Sure. Do we want. Todd. And that's the other question. Then do you want to go first or second? What if the first person only gets you, like, 73 points, and now the second one is to bring it home and get another 127? That's the other part. Marvin, would you like to be in Fast Money on Celebrity Jeopardy or whatever it is? Celebrity Family Feud? No, but Se is my first pick. Oh, see, that's. I think he's really quick and then he's well versed in different subjects. Okay. Yeah. See? Yeah, I don't know anything about anything. But my two picks would be Paul and Marvin. Oh, okay. I think sports wise of, of anybody on this side of the glass, for sure they know more about it. But is it just sports or is it all stuff? I think it's all stuff. I don't. Yeah. I didn't know it was a sports Jeopardy. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just asking. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know that. Are they just gonna do. Or is it gonna be like Indiana Jones movies? Like. Oh, crap. Yes, Paulie, I, I like to think I'm quick and in Sports Jeopardy. I'd feel confident. But this is not trivia. This is more like common sense answers to what you would think would be a basic question. The number one, foods at ballparks. And then you have to go sushi. No, you do hot dog. And then, you know, then nachos. So you know those kind of questions. Bagels and lox. No, peanuts. Peanuts. Yes, Marvin. The answers that come that are going to be tricky is when you're playing Fast Money, it's like fill in the blank. Peanut butter and blank. You'll say jelly. When the second guy comes on, Steve Harvey's going to ask that again. He's going to say peanut butter in marshmallow. Yeah. Fluff. Yeah. Bananas. Oh, nice. Peanut butter and banana sandwich. That's nice. I'll get you eight points. But here's the thing. You won't have a lot of time because it's only 25 seconds to answer those during Fast Money. Well, that was just brought up by a listener to me to say that. Dan, you know, there's a time limit on those answers. Todd doesn't do very well. Hasn't had a one word answer in five years. Are okay if Steve Harvey says, you know, whatever the question is, and then you go, I was going to say, I was going to ask about his commute in and how far he lives from, you know, the family. Yes, Paulie. Yeah. This is a different animal than Sports Jeopardy. It is. Marvin's right. Once that obvious first answer, like ballpark food, hot dog, then you're. If you have to go second, that's where people get tripped up the most. Yeah, I'm okay with that if that's the question. But you know, if they get too deep on something and then you're like, you get one that's obvious, and then it's the other ones where you say something stupid. Yes. Yes. We're gonna have to run through this a bunch because I'm. I'm actually getting nervous about it. That's probably a bad sign. We're gonna have to run through this. Okay. A couple times. Fast money. I gotta practice this stuff. Yeah. But I need to know what the topics are going, like, are they sports related topics, or. Can we request sports related topics for Celebrity Family Feud? Maybe we can. Maybe I'll reach out and say, what about this? Maybe that would be beneficial to both sides with the Rich Eisen Show. And once again, when we get there, they're not friends. Okay. Nope. That's the enemy. We're not shaking hands. We're not doing any of that. No, it's part of the Family Feud thing. No, that's. Now, I thought. And my wife said, well, isn't the feud within your own team, or is it with the other team that you're facing? I don't. I said, I don't know. There could be a feud between us by the time it's all said and done. Yes. When Steve says, give me Dan, give me Rich, and you guys got to come out, you know, hit the buzzer first. When he asked the question. You're not going to shake hands. You're just going to stare him down. Because you kind of do that initial handshake when you get to the middle there and it's one against one. I'm gonna go burden magic. Just saying. Just saying. We're not doing Isaiah and magic. I'm not gonna do that. But it's expected to do the. The handshake as a family food, sportsmanship thing. When you go up to. I know, Todd, I'm out. I'm out to win. I want to dominate. Okay. You can win with class and shake hands with the opponent and then just win. I am Tyrese Halliburton's dad when it comes to that. Fair enough. Yes. Paul, can we get the categories skewed towards US5 and against Eisen's people's knowledge? Like, remember Cliff Clavin on Jeopardy? Yeah. Imagine if the first category was Cincinnati reds from the 70s, and you run up there and then it's. Yeah, I'd be good with that. All right, so that's. That's exciting news. We're gonna be officially labeled celebrities. Celebrity Family Feud. Yes. Todd. My mom was all excited about that. I mentioned the prospect of something like that happening because she's all about The Game Show Network. And she'll watch game shows from, like, 1983, you know, hasn't happened in 40 years. And she just is. Can't wait for whenever that's going to air. Well, I wonder where you got that from. Loving game shows. Yeah, that. That are, like 43 years old. I'll watch a 1974 Price is Right to see the hairdos and the outfits. Yeah. Cliff Clavin's this is obviously super dated, but his categories from Jeopardy. Right on the show Cheers. The categories were Civil Servants because he's a mailman, Stamps from around the world, Mothers and Sons, beer bar trivia, and celibacy. Genius. They're all exactly him. That's what that was, a great episode of Cheers, man. All right, we'll play fill in the blank. Coming up, Misty in Illinois joins us. Hi, Misty. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. Good morning. Good morning, Misty. Was hoping that you and the guys would care to give my husband and best friend a birthday shout out. He is 39 today. His name is Josh Hutter. Anything else I need to know about Josh turning 39, Misty? He's just a wonderful man. I've been with him since I was 17, and I could not be happier to have him in my life. And he is a huge fan of yours. Alrighty. Well, thank you for. For calling. You guys ready to give a shout out Happy birthday to your husband and your best friend? I can't believe you're just saying it. Thank you, Misty. I hope that's what you and Matt and envision. I've been with him since I was 17, and even though he was 47, it wasn't weird at all. And we really have made it work all these years. All righty. We have a Bella. We have a Belichickian relationship here. Now you got the battle of. Of Belichick and his girlfriend against cbs because Bill Belichick put out a lengthy statement and said that, you know, the agreement was that CBS was only going to ask questions about the book, and CBS said no. There were no restrictions. None. If Bill Belichick said, hey, I'll come on your show, but you can't ask me anything about anything other than me winning, then I would say we're going to pass. And I'm going to guess cbs. You know, as much as Bill may think we really care about winning, CBS cares a whole lot more about you and your girlfriend and that whole dynamic there because your answers are probably not that interesting. You're the greatest NFL coach of all time. But If I'm gonna try to. If I'm gonna give you five minutes and promote your book, I gotta get something more out of this. Not gonna just go in there and go, yeah, you know what? Let's just talk about the book. Yeah. See, especially because you're like. So you didn't mention Robert Kraft, huh? No. Why not? Why not mention. Didn't want to. So you're even. Okay, dude. So, hey, how about your girlfriend then? That's maybe more interesting. You're asking about the book because he's not in the book, but he had to do something to do with your winning. And then you're not even forthcoming with that. Yes. Yeah, Paulie, the entire interview I checked was 35 minutes, and obviously they. They cut it down to about eight. Okay. For the segment, if you were CBS and I have not seen that they've done so, would you Release the entire 35 minutes in context and see how much was interrupted or not? If I needed to. If I felt like I needed to, yes. Then I would. Yes. Todd, is that all publicity is good publicity for Navy? As far as what he decided to wear in his sweatshirt there? Well, I mean, his dad coach there. I. I just. You're. You're employed by North Carolina. Wear a Tar Heel hoodie. I mean, what are you. What are you doing? I just think it's, you know, he got bad advice there. If. If she's there to troubleshoot. Hey, Bill, they're going to ask you this. You could still come off as charming. You could say, hey, you know what? I. I want to focus on the book. But, you know, we met because of a book. She gave me a book or whatever it was, and I signed her book and. Okay, now I've given you a little bit. Maybe you go away and then maybe you do talk about winning, but when you say. When she says no, we're not talking about that. Well, I don't know. I got to come back in. I'm more interested. There's Instagram photos of you on the beach. She's a mermaid. You're the Morton Salt guy. She's your business partner. I gotta ask you other questions. Yes. Does an interviewer really leave it there, though, if he's willing to say, hey, we met on a plane. I was going to such and such. There's got to be a follow up there. The reason why you're asking that is because you want to kind of sneak into. When did you. Was it love at first sight? When did you realize there was an intimacy kind of thing there? Just by sitting together on the plane. Thank you. It's always going to be something else. All right, let's take a break. I don't know if we've accomplished anything, but we will. Coming up, Dave McManaman. He is a journalist. He was there asking LeBron questions about his future. We'll talk to Dave. He'll join us coming up next year. Dan Patrick Show. But reporting the series took us through the darkest corners of the Internet and to the front lines of a global battle against deepfake pornography. This should be illegal. But what is this? Listen to Divine intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. We just agreed to be on Celebrity Family Feud. That'll be in a couple of weeks. We go against Rich Eisen, Rich Eisen Show. Although Fritzi says it's probably a good thing that Richard Dawson is no longer the host because he kisses every guest. He didn't kiss every guest. He just kissed the beautiful women, didn't he? No matter what their age was. What? Grandma, daughter, Beyonce, aunt. He'd kiss them all right on the mouth. Give us a kiss, love. But Todd, if you were Richard Dawson, you would do the same thing. I might, but there was a couple where there was some questionable ages where like you're kissing the guy's daughter, but it just seemed very inappropriate even for those times. It just. I don't think I would kiss every woman on the mouth. You know, I'm a hugger. I don't know if I'm kissing. I would give a little peck on the cheek maybe, but I would still be uncomfortable with that. Dave McMenamon, ESPN NBA reporter. He was there covering game five last night. Kind enough to get up early. Dave, what did you expect to happen last night? I thought the Lakers would come out with a stronger effort. Seeing them fall down 14 in the first quarter was surprising to me. The stats were on their side. I think ESPN aired a statistic going into the game that since 2003 the home team favored in a game five even when they were down three one had won 75% of those games. The Lakers made an effort. They, they did hold a lead in the fourth quarter after both LeBron and Luka Doncic were banged up. But they were outclassed. The Wolves. When I was walking out the arena with a couple reporters last night, we were discussing the series. I think the Wolves beat the Lakers in every single aspect of the series. And yeah, that's where you get the gentleman sweep, but you also get this fourth quarter domination. And that speaks to, I think, LeBron and Luca, the lack of depth on this team as you handicap what this team might look like next year. Where, where's, where's the infantry coming? Where, where are, you know, the reserves? Well, think about it. To acquire Luka, they traded two rotation pieces and Anthony Davis and Max Christian got back one. And I was talking to LeBron after the game last night and he was marveling at the Wolves after losing in the Western Conference finals last year, trading one rotation piece in Karl Anthony Townsend, getting back to Julius Randle and Dante DiVincenzo. So clearly this team needs to address the middle, the big man position. JJ Redick didn't trust Jackson Hayes in the playoffs and he was already considered kind of a backup playing above his role. And then they need to get more depth in game five, 22, four in bench scoring. That's not going to get it done. Yeah, and you go back to the previous game as well. You know, I think JJ rolled the dice and just said, look, I'm going with these guys. We got to win this game. If we don't win this game, we're probably not winning this series. But can you do grade JJ Redick differently from the regular season to the postseason? Is that fair to do that? He's a first year head coach that had a very successful regular season who ran into a team that even though they were ranked the 6 seed compared to his 3 seed, there's only one win that separated them. They were in the top 10 in both offense and defense. They won 17 out of 21 games coming into the postseason. They're one of the toughest matchups in all of basketball. That isn't to say that JJ is not going to be kicking himself all summer long and wonder if, should I really throw in Maxi Cleaver out there? If he hadn't played since January, could I have put Gabe Vincent in the start of the fourth quarter of game four to get Luka Dodge's two minutes of Rest. He's going to go through these things in his head. But ultimately there's a stat that. Another stat that really stood out to me going into the playoffs. The Lakers starters for game one had played 100 minutes together in the regular season. The Wolves starters going into game one had played 714. I mean, the amount of time those guys had to coalesce compared to what the Lakers did trying to sprint towards the finish line after the Luca deal. It wasn't a comparison. LeBron said that he hadn't thought about his future. When asked after the game, what do you think his answer is going to be? I think he'll be back. I think, listen, he's done this similar song and dance ever since they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals. That was year 20 last year. Similar kind of sentiments. When the season ended, that was 22, 21. This year is 22. I think when you pass two decades in the league, you're allowed to walk away from an arduous season to be like, I, I gotta think things through, but he's gotta be back. You know, Bronnie James is on this team under contract for the next two seasons. I talked to Bronnie about his favorite memories from the year and he mentioned just the surreal idea of going to work with his dad. And he said, I look forward to that for years to come. So it could not just be a Swan song for LeBron James next year, but a continuation. And you know, he'll try to maximize this thing. That's what he's done ever since 2003. Dave McMenamin, he covers the Lakers for ESPN, covers the NBA. What do you think Lucas future is? There's a little bit of a question, right? Would he actually put down roots in LA? Sign the long term extension as of August 2nd, the Lakers will be able to offer him a four year, $229 million extension. Or he could opt for a three year deal worth about 175, which would allow him to go for a supermax in 2028, I believe. Listen, the Lakers have rolled out the red carpet from the moment he arrived. And I should say this, LeBron James has been a very accommodating superstar teammate to try to make that transition as smooth as possible. I. If you are about being a star and if you are about the spotlight and you thrive in those situations, there's no better atmosphere to play for in the NBA than the Los Angeles Lakers. It's. It's a traveling show and you're Going to get fans packing the arena every spot you go around the country. It's a circle of date type of thing on the calendar for all your opponents. And if you're a competitor who feeds off of that, which I believe Luka Doncic is, it's a great place to be and spending your prime in the NBA. But it's a certain point, you look around and you go, these guys got their titles. I'm sort of the last of that class. Like, I got to get my title. He's not very close to a title. And the west is pretty young. If you look at okc, you know, even Houston's a young team. Minnesota, you know, it's going to be uphill sledding here for the. For the lakers, even after LeBron. That's the only curious part I have with Luca. Do I understand the location and the area code? Absolutely. And the money. But are you going to win a championship there in the next couple of years? And I would argue you're not. I think that's a fair argument. Now, I think you'd also say, had he not been traded from the Dallas Mavericks, it's not like they were world beaters with that roster either, and he was committed to try to make it work. But they went to the Finals, though, Dave. Of course they did, but they went to the Finals as a fifth seed. And as you just mentioned, the other teams of the west got better this year, so it's not like they were in the pole position to return to the Finals this year. The Lakers have a lot of work to do to get this roster better, so he feels better about the prospect of being here. They didn't have a center, right? So that's a huge, glaring issue. He had two lob threat centers and Derek Lively the second and Daniel Gafford that helped fuel that trip to the Finals. Rob Pelinka has his work cut out for him. He had two brilliant trades this year to get Dorian Finney Smith, who really helped this team defensively the second half of the year, and of course, the Luka Doncic trade. But this roster is incomplete, and Luka is that good, and LeBron is that committed that I don't think they're miles away from the type of moves they need to make to become one of the contenders on the short list going into next year. What is LeBron playing for moving forward? He wants another championship like he knows it's within his grasp. He is playing for the ability to be in the NBA, not with just Bronny James as his teammate. But Bronny James, a contributor on a winning NBA team. And so he's going to be along for that part of the process as well. And he loves basketball. Like, it's kind of simple answer, but I think there's a kinship that he shared with Tom Brad, because there was the recognition that I'm never going to do anything else in my life that I love as much as this process. And I've already put in so much time to get to this point. I'm not going to walk away until my mind, my body, my spirit all tell me to. So as long as I have a chance to be part of this endeavor with a chance to win. Because the year they had in 21:22 when they came in with great expectations and didn't even make the play in tournament, that aged him like 10 years. But the winning basketball, they've been playing ever since the trade deadline of 2023. He has Pepin and Step and he wants to keep riding this thing. If I said give me. Since you make your living with your words, how would you describe LeBron's career as a Laker? That's. You want one word? Do you have one word? Underwhelming by his standards? Okay, so it's, it's a few more than one. But getting a championship and become the only player in league history to win finals, MVP and a championship with three different franchises. Like, we can't understate what that accomplishment was. But there hasn't been deep playoff runs. There's been a fair share of drama off the court. His body hasn't been totally reliable. Then again, we're talking about the coda to what was already a completely brilliant career. If you just took the first Cavs chapter or just the Miami chapter or the second Cavs chapter. Good to talk to you, Dave. Thanks for joining us. Thanks, dad. Dave McMenamin, ESPN NBA reporter or as Big Perk tried to say last night, I think he tried to say McMenamon. How did he pronounce Dave's last name? Marvin McKee. Three shots at it. He tried. Yeah. Like, you have to build up the momentum to get through McMenamin. Like if you start and then you pause a little bit. And then Big Perk last night on the mothership, he couldn't get through it. He was like, dave, Mama. Say Mama Samaku. So that's not it. Bob in Huntington Beach. Good morning, Bob. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Dan. Hey, first of all, thanks so much for spending three hours of Your time with us in the morning, that makes my morning go by super quick. I'm a truck driver and the first three hours of my day just flies by. Thanks so much for the entertainment. Real quick. So, as a participant and a winner on Family Feud, a winner of Fast Money, I'll give you a couple of quick tips. First of all, I'd like to just address Richie real quick. Richie, I don't know you personally. I only know you through the show. And from what I know, you would 100% turn hugs into kisses on every woman if you were the host of the show, straight out. Okay. And then as far as the tips, if they tell you when you go on the show, it's very, the answers are very elementary. So don't overthink your answers. Think as a child. So, Fritzi, you're right in the money on there. Thank you, Bob. Okay, well, you would think that Paulie and I, who got Cs when we were in high school and college, that should be right up our alley. You know, Todd graduated second in his class. That's just book smarts though, not street smarts. Well, well, don't we know that? You know, there's the thinker. Rodan, you're the overthinker. I think I can put on my little kid hat and, you know, come up with hopefully basic answers, but who knows? It'll be very interesting to see how it plays out. Oh, thank you, Todd. You're welcome. All right. Chris in la. Hi, Chris. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Dan. Hey, I just wanted to give you an idea as to what the fallout is here in LA with the laker debacle and J.J. redick's getting a lot of heat and I think rightfully so for some of the moves that he made. But what you saw after the pre game press conference, that's how he's been all season. He's been very testy to the point where I even wondered if he was actually enjoying coaching. But that's been the way he is. And I think what we saw is a little bit of JJ's ego. You know, he was a great analyst, real insightful. And I think coaching is being a little different for him and his ego just won't let him acknowledge that he shouldn't have played a 40 year old LeBron the entire fourth quarter, shouldn't have played Luka who was coming off a stomach ailment the entire fourth quarter. He doubled down and instead of going small and adjust, I mean going big and adjusting to what the Rudy Gobert was doing to him. He had already said he wasn't going to play Jackson Hayes, so his ego was not going to let him change and do what obviously mean. My daughter even said, hey, dad, we don't have a big guy. I mean, it was amazing. And his explanation for it afterwards was, well, if I do that, I sacrifice points. Well, you know what else sacrifices points? Not getting offensive rebounds, not getting defensive rebounds, giving them second chance shots. So that, that, that absolutely to me is just his ego and he's going to have to adjust to that. Like McMenamon said in the offseason, he'll be thinking about it, I'm sure. And one last thing. I don't think there's any way LeBron leaves, because there's no way with LeBron's ego he's going to want to go out the way he did. Not scoring any points in the previous game and then hardly any points in this game. He's. He's going to want to go out as a winner. Well, he's not going to, he's not going to go someplace else because his son's on the roster and I don't know where he would go. And, you know, we're still criticizing Durant because he glommed on to Golden State to win a couple of titles there. LeBron went to Miami and people were critical of him. I don't, I just don't think that he's going to leave. I can't see that happening. Sue in Denver. Hi, Sue. What's on your mind today? Morning, dp. Good morning, Dennis. Kind of going a little backtracking on the show this morning. Wondering about Chris, have a question about the veteran QBs. I keep hearing about how Aaron Rodgers doesn't want them to, you know, draft his successor. I guess my. I don't understand. Why do they think that at some point their team won't look for their replacements? Well, and once again, I don't know it to be a fact, sue, and thank you for the phone call. I'm just thinking that you had Aaron go through this in Green Bay. He didn't think they were going to draft his successor. Probably just like Brett Favre didn't think they were going to draft his successor. But it happens and great franchises think ahead. If you're Pittsburgh and you really love Jackson Dart or Shador Sanders, then take him. I, I can't be. I'm worried about Aaron Rodgers this season. I also have to worry about my franchise after this season as well. And you can't sit here and go, I don't know how long Aaron's going to play. You have to go year by year. And they've had patchwork quarterbacking for how many years now since Ben retired? And look, if Aaron Rodgers doesn't go there, you got another year of patchwork quarterbacking and that's not Then you're looking at a 9 and 8. Then you're looking at a first round exit again. Somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the God damnedest love story you've ever heard. Minnesota outscored the Lakers by almost eight and a half points per game in the fourth quarter, the largest margin of any of the playoff series this season. Yeah, you know, that shows me that you're tired or they got a lot of youth over there. They had a lot of energy. And Anthony Edwards is not slowing down. He's not afraid of anybody. And you start to understand their role players. And as Dave McMenamin pointed out, when you trade Karl Anthony Towns and you get Divincenzo and you get Randall. So now I've got more depth. You got to have depth. You got to have guys who can contribute. You got to have somebody who's going to give you a surprise game when one of your star players doesn't have a great game. Because Anthony Edwards, now, he filled in the stat sheet a little bit. He didn't shoot well, but he did a lot of other things. Rudy Gobert, he dominated the boards as he should, and then all of a sudden, you know, he throws in 24 points as well. Well, you're, you know, you can't allow that to happen. But they did. And the Lakers have a lot of questions here in the off season. Kevin in Vegas. Hi, Kev. What's on your mind? Hey, Dan and Daniels. How is everybody doing? Anyway, I want to kind of catch you guys up in Jeopardy. You have to answer the correct answer. But in Family Feud, you answering a survey. So Steve would say, we surveyed 100 wives, and we asked 100 wives, you know, what's the smallest part of your husband's body? And then my people probably would say, hands. So you have to think about what the wife said, the hundred wives said. Okay, give us an update on all Family Feud. Thank you, Kevin. Thank you. We have a couple of weeks to get ready before we go to Atlanta for Celebrity Family Feud. We're going to have team meetings. You guys are going to be away from your wives and your families the night before. We stay in a hotel and, you know, we'll have a team meal. We'll be sequestered. Sequestered. Yeah, Paulie. Or we could not prepare at all and just wing it. Well, that's what I did with the sat. Yeah. And that didn't turn out too well. Todd, what'd you get on the SAT? I did not do great. I got 11, 20 and then I took it again and got less. Oh, that's not very good. I. I took one of those classes, but I didn't take it seriously enough. Where you're going to. Yeah, but this is where you panic. You panicked. And this is. This is what concern. So as the coach of this team, I have to start looking at minutes. I got to look at, you know, who is going to be in the starting lineup. I need. I need. I need to know what kind of attitude you got. Are you a team player? Game show analytics, you're looking at. Yes, I'm going to. I'm going to get some game show analytics. And yeah, we got to prepare for this. Got to prepare for this. See in Glendora. I see. Hey, Dan. What's up? Second time, long time. Hope you guys are doing all good. You guys are cracking me up with this Family Feud stuff, man. You know. Congratulations for getting on the show. But I. I immediately sensed that Richie was getting a little nervous. Oh, yes. But I think. I think your go to. For the fast money has got to be seating number one. The other thing I wanted to ask really quick, I like your take about Austin Reeves coming off the bench with the Lakers. Just not sure what's going to happen with this team going forward. Maybe they get another year or not. But let me ask you a question. If you could turn back time, would you ever consider being a gm? Because, I mean, you got. You got great insight. No, I love the game too much. See? Thank you. No, no, I love watching. I like being the GM for all teams. I don't want to be agm, and I love the game and I take it very seriously. And I studied the game, always have. It's like I'm watching Giannis's free throws and I. It's just driving me crazy. He's. He's shooting 61%. You can't be the guy who shoots more free throws than anybody. And you shoot 61%. I think he was around 73 at one point. Now he's down at 61%. And it. Your. Your free throw has to start from the ground up. It's just a smooth. It should be one motion. It can't be up, stop, up, stop, shoot. Fluid, fluid. And. And he has some touch. You know, Shaq never had any touch whatsoever. And he said, well, the ball was too big. Well, okay. Michael Jordan could shoot free throws, and his hands were huge. I. It just comes to confidence and. And routine. You get into that routine, and I'm watching Giannis and it's just that it's like a ladder unfolding and you, you can't get any kind of rhythm with that. The great free throw shooters, they get up there, they know it's. I would always be boom, boom, boom. Three dribbles left hand, boom. And then go, that's it. And then whatever you're. I never looked at anything. I didn't go. I'm. That's, that's where I'm shooting towards front of the rim, back of them. Never. I just shot it. But it's unfortunate because you're just giving away all of those points. This day in Sports history. Paul 1951, Mickey Mantle hit his first career home run. 1986, NASCAR driver Bill Elliott went 212 miles per hour, the fastest ever. 91 Nolan Ryan of the Rangers pitched career no hitter number seven. And in 92, Ricky Henderson stole base number 1,000. Also on this date, 1988, Mike Jordan gets 55 is the Bulls beat the Cavaliers. That's it. This day in sports history. Let's go around the room. Todd, did you learn anything today? I did. NFL drafties should be aware it's all about your medicals and how you interview for teams thinking about selecting you seat. No. Connor Lebron maybe has a year left. Marvin, Cowboys over under seven and a half. I know. Paul. Let's play the feud. Staying silent, missing chances and holding themselves back. I know this is true because I used to be like that until I realized that negotiation isn't a talent. It's a skill that anyone can learn.
