We have vodka sauce lasagna and we have a little pesto as well. Who has it better than we do? No, Nobody. All right, Poll question. Final hour of the program. Seaton at least final hour on this Friday. How superstitious are you? I have a hard time saying superstitious. Extremely little. Not at all. 74 are a little. I mean, Friday the 13th. I wonder why you'd just be a little and not extremely. Maybe it's little things that you're superstitious about. Yes. Paul, can you be sports stitious and not superstitious? Like I wouldn't be bothered if I broke a mirror or walked under a ladder. Wouldn't bother me at all. But if a team I love is playing well and I'm sitting in a certain seat in my house, I'm staying in that seat. Yeah. And vice versa. Yes. So that's sports. I guess it's superstition. Yes. Yeah, I would think so. Yeah. What else do you have, Seton? We also put up there. This one is very much about Todd fritz. Would you rather be physically fragile or mentally disturbed? It's one or the other. I'm surprised that so many people I'm not sure why I'm surprised about this, but that so many people are choosing physically fragile rather than mentally disturbed. I don't think anybody wants to be disturbed. You could be mentally disturbed, but that means that you're super f. How about so you're crazy end in good shape or you can be have all of your mental faculties are perfectly intact, but you're very fragile physically. What about mentally physic or mentally or physically soft? How about if we just did that? It could be mentally soft or physically soft. I wonder what people will say about that. Any other poll questions for the final hour of this? We can update that if you'd like. Okay. We can all Right. Would you rather be mentally soft or physically soft? Okay, yeah, Todd might be both. 8773 DP show email address dp@danpatrick.com Twitter handle it DP Show Nick and Irvine. Hi Nick. What's on your mind today? Hey dan, I got three comments for you. First of all, back in the 80s when you could go to Hollywood park for horse racing and there was 30,000, 40,000 people, I was into the ponies and I was on a bad streak and I was, I'll never forget my dad when I told him what was going on and you know, I was trying to put together numbers and trying to, you know, do all these different things. And he said, and he looked me right in the eye, the most earnest thing he ever said. And he said, son, don't forget these two pieces of advice. Number one, it is bad luck to be superstitious. And number two, never bet on a horse that eats. And ever since then, I have never lost again at the track. Want to tell you about my Traeger Grill. It is true that you can, you can adjust the Traeger Grill with your phone. It's an incredible feature. But Todd, I think you would like this. You can the little known fact you can also call the Traeger Grill and you can talk to each individual patty or chicken wing or whatever. And that's great. Alrighty. Thank you, Nick. Thank you, Nick. You have Thunder Pacers game four OKC favored by six. The Oilers came back, they were down three nothing and then they win five four in overtime. And this is how the game winner sounded. Breaking free is dry saddle to the next score. Leon Draisaitl has tied the series with his fourth OT winner in the playoffs. Final score, Edmonton 5, Florida 4 in overt. The man on the call, Jack Michaels. Edmonton Oilers. Radio play by Playboys. How's the throat today, Jack? Dan? I'm okay. You know what, I don't know whether that triggered you because 19 years ago you and Keith were doing homer call the week and you had me on twice in two weeks. Alaska and Vegas and Alaska and Fresno. And I remember you being fascinated with it being the East Coast Hockey League, you know, championship series involving Alaska and Fresno. Great to have you back. You had a great seat for this with your team down three to nothing. What were you thinking? Well, to be honest with you, that's where the Oilers seem to thrive. I don't know what it is, but this club is not content with prosperity. It loves to dig itself a hole, whether it's early in the season they started 03 this year, two nine and one last year or whether it's in early in games and you just had a feeling that if Edmonton got one, the momentum can turn in a hurry. We've got two great teams, Dan. I would say through four finals this Stanley cup final is shaping up as the best in the history of the sport. And I honestly don't, you know, that's not an exaggeration. These two teams are clearly the best in the National Hockey League. They found an extra gear and you know, Florida's a worthy champion. This is now a best of three with two on Edmonton's home ice. But I don't think anyone can be called a favorite right now. We've had the two latest game tying goals in the history of the final a week apart. Also when we talked about this last week, how important is the cup to Canada? We know it's important to Edmonton. Is Canada rooting for Edmonton? Well, I think for years, I think for years Edmonton has been kind of everyone's second favorite team. As you know, passionate fan bases exist in, you know, Toronto and you know, so I don't know whether the Leafs are more of a polarizing figure than some of the other clubs. Edmonton is more, you know, I mean prepsy. Right. It's if no one really hates the Oilers except maybe those who reside in Calgary. Right. So it's, it's a bit of a national team from that perspective in the sense that when you live in Canada, there's no middle ground with the Toronto Maple Leaf. Edmonton is a little bit different in the sense. Well, you know, I can live with Edmonton winning the cup. I can't live with lease winning the cup. When you go to overtime, you know that the game is on somebody's stick there. As the play by play voice, how do you approach that knowing that it can end very quickly? Absolutely. No divergence, no tangents, no you know, thoughts that come to mind. Just button it up and call the game. And you have to do that really with Connor McDavid. Anyway, I, as you can probably tell, I'm prone to gab. I need to button it up to call the game because it can end at any moment. And as you saw, I mean Leandra, that's a one handed shot that gets a carom off a kneecap and goes five hole on Bobrovsky. Not your typical, you know, OG winner. You just have to be ready and you can't again go off on some random spot for 1971. You are a professional at doing this. We just Heard your call with the, the game winning goal in overtime. Seaton o' Connor, who works on my show, he, we love Leon Dry Seidel. We, we only bring his name up in June, but you know, he's always scoring big goals. I want you to grade Seaton's call of Leon Dry Seidl's game winner last night. He's done it again. How? You know, I guess what I'd say is I need a little crowd noise. It's not completely fair to him. Oh, he's got a little bit of a fombo situation. The good thing is his voice did not crack. I will say that. You know, he didn't sound like a guy going through adolescence. So that's a start. And you know, you play by play guys in hockey, it's like you're trying to cram words in and then all of a sudden it just is all kind of jumbled and then it's what, dry side? And over time, that's why I went to the overtime call the way I did. I figured that was one word that everyone would understand. Hey, great to talk to you again and good luck with this next game on Saturday. Thank you, Jack. Dan, I really appreciate you having me on. And Keith says hello. JACK michaels, Edmonton Owners there's radio play by Playboy. Also does TV as well. Fifteen years doing radio. Yeah, we had him on for homework hall of the week 19 years ago. And Keith Olbermann has stayed in touch with him. That was the old hour too. Right in the middle of the show. Yeah, radio show. The homer call of the week. That was fun. Homer call of the week was fun. Brought to you by James in New Mexico. Hi, James. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan, thanks for taking the call. So I'm part of your younger demographic and NBA casualist, I guess I would say. And I was curious so, you know, not knowing too much about the past eras of players who would be the comps to today's game. It could be like play style because, but it's hard because there's two different games. But like who they were in the media. Like who was, who was Barkley then today And I guess the obvious one would be Jordan lebron. But like try to educate myself more on who they were to the game and like in the media back then to today's game. Some comps there. I don't think there are comps for those three. I mean Charles was unique. I mean he's more unique now. But as a player, you're just, you couldn't believe that somebody who's 65 is going against Shaq and wasn't afraid of Shaq. Jordan, you're watching and you're going, I've never seen anybody like that. And then even LeBron, somebody that big, who's able to do all of these things because we thought we saw that with Magic. Now you're seeing LeBron do that, but also be a great scorer. And now 40,000 points later, I think a lot of times we try to do those comparisons. You know, that guy reminds me of. There's so many unique, great athletes that there aren't comps. Every white player who can shoot, you know, he kind of reminds me of Larry Bird. No, no, he doesn't. Anybody who's 69 at point guard, you know, he reminds me of Magic. Just because he's six nine. Sga. You're hearing the. You know, he's kind of like Michael Jordan. No, he's not. No, he's a great scorer, but he's not Michael Jordan. It's just different style points. Jordan gave you that. Barkley gave you that. LeBron, you know, there's nobody like Steph Curry. No one. And you can say, oh, you know, it kind of reminds me of Steph Curry. Caitlin Clark might remind you of Steph Curry. That's the closest comp that I would have. But, you know, Klay Thompson, I've never seen somebody so economical at. At his peak of not needing a dribble. And that famous game where he had like nine dribbles the entire game. Yeah, Marvin, respect his handle. He had 11 dribbles. Oh, 11 dribbles. Okay. Yeah. He's not beating you off the dribble. You know, if I'm guarding him, I know he's not going to beat me off the dribble, but he is. If I. You let him shoot, he's making it. And that's another one of those guys, when you're watching guys who are in college, and then you go, wow, that guy's gonna be a pro. He's gonna be great. And then he doesn't become that. And then you see somebody else and you go, oh, man, he went to Washington State. I remember what I remember watching Washington State. And the only reason why I remember Klay Thompson is because of his father, Michael, who I know. That was it. I remember watching Gary Payton at Oregon, and I said, that guy's going to be a great pro. But then Brent Barry is on that team. And if you would have said, that, dude there is going to win the slam dunk contest, I'd be like, huh? You see these guys and then you don't envision them. Steve Nash at Santa Clara, I watched and I was like, this little guy with a bad haircut and he is entertaining. Never would have thought anything other than that. That's why when you have these scouts, when they go, hey, we're taking this guy, and you go, man, who saw that? Or when you have scouts and they go, we're taking this guy, and you go, what did you see in that guy? What did you see in Michael Oluw Candy or Anthony Bennett or some of these other players? You're like, huh? Yes. Marvin. Yeah. Klay Thompson, his first team. I did not see that coming. Donovan Mitchell was another guy where it was like the undersized guard out of Louisville. I know. Wow, they picked him pretty high. Yeah, I did not. Not saying they weren't very good college players, but I didn't expect this. I don't remember Donovan Mitchell at Louisville because it felt like all of their guards were like 6:1. But they were an unbelievable team. All right, we'll take a break here. More phone calls coming up. We're going to have the who had the best week in sports? Here we are on a Friday final hour and we will recap the week with the best week in sports right after this. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell bent effort to sabotage a war. J edgula was furious. Somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century and the God damnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my Life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention. You can now binge all 10 episodes of Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Who had the best week in sports? Could be a team, Be a player. Coach. Sport. Marvin, I'm going to start with you. Who had the best week in sports? I'm going to go with the Indiana Pacers. A proof. They proved me wrong. I didn't think they'd win two games and they've won. Got a 21 lead going into game four. All right, Seaton, who had the best week in sports? Let's say Patrick Reed with the Albatross. The Albatross. That's pretty unique. What is that, the fourth in US Open history or something? In 40 years, but decades, you know, that's only happened to less than a handful of times. That's pretty cool. That's a two on a par five. But the Albatross sounds negative. It does. When somebody goes, oh, what happened? Albatross. Oh, I'm so sorry. Gotta get that albatross off your neck. Yeah, that's around your neck. All right, Todd. Best week. I'm going. Recency bias of Calvin Picard, the goalie who comes in to partially, I guess, save the day, finds out with a few minutes left in the first intermission. Hey, you're in. I know we're down three nothing, but get ready to go. You're the guy for the rest of this game, okay? Does he have to play? Does he have to start the next game? Yes, you have to do that. So don't start messing with things and going back. You have to. But they did mess with something. I know, but he earned it. He got in there and they won. And whatever momentum and whatever, you know, your superstition is, I think you got to start him, Paulie. Best week in sports. This is sneaky, but I'm going to give it to Pete Alonso, the first baseman for the Mets. He's hitting.300 with 17 home runs this year. A lot of people didn't think they should sign him in the off season for the big money. He's having one of the better seasons of his career, and I think they're what, 45 and 24 leading the NL Easter. Have a good season. They got the best record in the National League. Yeah. Stat of the Day is always brought to you by Panini America, the official trading cards of this program. Jason in Tampa. Hi, Jason. What's on your mind today? Good morning, D.T. and Dan, that's my wife, and I recently had our first child after trying for three years, a daughter named Brooklyn. So I'm calling to ask for your advice on raising daughters and to wish all the dads out there a happy Father's Day this weekend. Just be a good listener and don't lecture. Listen, also, when she's young, come down to her level, sit on the floor, talk to her. Just establish that bond. Your daughters will never leave you and take an interest in. Because, you know, you talk to guys and they. Oh, they got to have a boy. I want to have a boy. I didn't have a boy. Your girls are. They're wonderful. They're. They're just. I have three of them, and they're spectacular people. And. And, you know, that's what you need to do is understand them, embrace them, and don't be lamenting that you didn't have a boy. I mean, I'm fortunate. My first child was a boy, but I didn't think of that at the time. And I remember guys at ESPN who had girls, they're like, oh, you got your boy. I didn't even think of that. I was like, is he healthy? Is the baby healthy? That's all I cared about, and that's all you should care about. But if you have a daughter, make sure that you understand. You try to understand her. Don't make her fit into what you want her to be. Understand her, because they're all. All three of my daughters are different. Fresh in Milwaukee. Welcome back. Fresh. What's up? DP And Dan X calling in on a Friday to play some King of the Hill. We're gonna do the Joker, and I'm gonna give you five centers. Joker versus Wilt. Would you take Joker or will these all players in their prime? It's just different, you know, the way Wilt played. I. I think it's really hard to compare. You know, Joker is extremely skilled. Nobody had seen that before from somebody of Wilt's athleticism. So in the time that he was there, what he was doing had never been seen before. Joker, what he's doing hasn't been seen before. Who else do you have in there, Joker or Vita Sabonis? A Joker. I mean, Arvida Sabonis created sort of this big man, passing big man, you know, foul line extended or, you know, at top of the key. Great, great passer. Physical, didn't have great mobility, but somehow could get his shot off or get to a spot where he needed to. Joker. Shaq. Shaq. Nice. Joker. Kareem. Kareem. Last one, Joker. Hakeem. That one's tough for me because I love Hakeem. Elijah. One, he was just so good on the defensive end and. And steals, and I think he was an underrated scorer. I probably say Akeem just because I love both ends of the floor. I. You can't go wrong with any of those. But thank you. Fresh with Joker. I mean, Joker is what he's doing. It's never been done before. And certainly we've had players who have triple doubles. We've had players who have had, you know, big assist totals. Not a big man. I mean, Will Chamberlain did lead the league in assist one year, but it's because he probably got board scoring and was like, hey, I can pass, too. Kevin in Reno. Hi, Kevin. What's on your mind today? ADP. First time, long time. 5, 9175. Two things. Two things for you. Oh, Kev, try back. Got bad reception there. Ryan in Austin. Hi, Ryan. What's on your mind? Hey, dp. Hey, everybody. Fritzius, want to let you know before I say this, you're the real mvp, but if you're having OG problems, I feel bad for you, son. You can just use cameo pay for celebrities to do a script. So it sounds like you're booking death. Thank you guys so much. Happy Father's Day. All right. Dang. There's a compliment in there somewhere. I think so. Backhanded couple. I think so. Keep your head up. I'm going to keep my head up. Yeah. It's a Friday. It's Friday. We're going to have lasagna and clams, casino and fried artichokes. Everything's good. You, of course, wore your white, very white jersey to get sauce and all kinds of grease and oil. You got your. Your slap shot jersey today. I may take this off before we start eating, so. I don't trust myself at all. Yeah, that's got lasagna written all over. Many stains. Yes. Clams, oregano. The shirt I have under this is also white, so I don't know what I'm doing. All right. Tatum in Texas. Good morning, Tatum. What's on your mind? Good morning. 410, 73 pounds. Me and my dad love to listen to your show. I was calling to ask, what's your favorite memory watching sports as a kid? Well, thank you, Tatum, and hello to your dad as well. Being a good dad, opening up your eyes and ears to this program at a young age. My favorite memory, watching sports when I'm a kid. Way too many Marvin you got a favorite memory when you're watching sports on tv. Growing up as a kid, every single Saturday my mom would make sure if we were out, she would tape a My Rashad on inside stuff. Every single Saturday with Willow Bay and Summer Sanders. And Summer Sanders Sanders. No, Willow Bay Goat. Can't go wrong. No, you can't. And she's so nice. She's like a professor or something at USC or runs the journalism department. It's like she was, she was on with the mod. Paulie, do you have a favorite memory watching tv? I'm glad I had a second to think about it. When I was little, the super bowl was obviously a big deal, but my dad actually bought us a new TV on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. But it was a console like those old. And I can remember him walking in and unboxing it. He, he's a pretty strong guy. And then he opened up a big thing. So the TV was brand new and it plugged it in and we watched the Super Bowl, Steelers, Cowboys, which was a big deal as well. And then I can remember opening big things of ice cream with him that day and, and watching that Super Bowl, I was like a new tv because as a child a new TV was a luxury item. So that was probably my favorite. Todd, what about you? Probably watching Nolan Ryan, especially when he wore the Astro rainbow stripe uniform and just seeing the way he dominated in that leg kick and just, I just thought that was amazing. Over 100 miles an hour that he's throwing and had never heard of such a thing. And just. Yeah, watching Nolan Ryan. What about you, Seaton? You know, I remember what, I wasn't that young. I was probably like 10, maybe 11, something like that. When Mike Tyson got knocked out by Buster Douglas. That was awesome. And I just, it stood out to me because we at the time we had to watch it in like my parents bedroom on the. We all sat on the floor there watching it because that was, that was where we had the TV that would show that. And I remember thinking, this is so stupid. It's already happened. We already know we won. Like we already know Mike Tyson's going to win. Why are we even watching this? And then he got knocked out. I would say the first memory I have was watching the Ice bowl with the Cowboys and the packers and Vince Lombardi, Bart Starr with the quarterback sneak over Jethro Pugh, Jerry Kramer leading the way. And just something about that game and how visually stimulating it was. It wasn't great football, but this was, you know, the harshest elements of just about any other game in NFL history. The Bengals against the Chargers is a colder game, but the frozen tundra. It was the frozen tundra. But to watch that and then find out later that the packers didn't know that Bart Starr was going to keep the ball in the quarterback sneak. It was Chuck Mercine, who I think was supposed to get the ball, and Tom Landry, Vince Lombardi, and it. And it just kind of like that was the NFL, because I would watch the Cleveland Browns with Jim Brown. And that was our Sunday. Every Sunday, we got the Cleveland Browns. But that was the first time where you're watching this is, you know, going to the super bowl. And it was the Ice bowl and just the breath and Lombardi, Bart Starr, you know, these great names. And, yeah, it just resonated with me. Duke and Boise. Hi, duke. Hey, Dan. Six, one, two, 15. I couldn't help if you reminded, when you were talking about stepping over crack and your pre free throw routine, you reminded me of Michael Scott in the office when he said, I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitch. Yes. I'm not superstitious. I'm kind of stitches. Yeah. Kevin and Reno, let's try it again. Kev, adp. Sorry about the bad connection. What I was going to say is, I'm a bailiff. And one day I was announcing the judge, and I said, you know, all rise. The honorable judge's name, Junior the Third. And the whole courtroom kind of turned and look at me and had to go talk to judge and chambers after that. So, yeah, thank you guys for that. I appreciate it. Listening to DP Takes a Gamble and listening to Dylan talking about driving to Vegas from Tahoe. That is the most boring drive ever. Unless he wants to see a clown motel in Tonopah, Nevada. All right, well, thank you, Kevin. Wait, Kevin, can you reenact, though? So the judge comes in, you're the bailiff, and then you announce to the court, how did it sound? I said, all rise. The honorable. I say the judge's name, Junior the Third. And everyone turns and looks at me, and judge kind of looks at me and says, everyone be seated. And I'll see the bailiff in chambers after court. Was he a Junior or the Third? He was neither. But just listening to you guys for Junior the Third. Thank you, Kevin. Yeah, yeah. I'm adding Junior III to guys who aren't juniors or the Third. I just got into that habit. Yes, Marvin, this show has just ruined everyone's lingo. We just walk around we have some inside jokes for the back room guys, and everything is just. Man, no one outside of this building's really going to get it. Or unless you listen to the show and you just sound crazy when you say something. Yeah. Junior the third May. Oh, it was McLovin who had Robert Griffith Jr III. And it's Robert Griffin III. And McLovin is like Robert Griffith Jr III. And it wasn't on purpose. Yes. Todd, if you were the judge in that situation, would you feel that offended or disrespected that you'd have to call the bailiff into chambers and have a talking to about it? I'd be curious since I'm not a junior or a Third, because if he was one or the other, then you could go, okay, it's good. Wait till later in the day. I just was wondering, earlier you called me Junior Third. What was that all about? That's the end of it. Joe Burrow met with the media, and the media wants to know about Trey Hendrickson in that holdout. And here is the question to the Bengals quarterback. Is Trey not being here, his deal not done? Is that a distraction? Of course, of course. Last year we had two. This year we have one. So we do have less. You'd love to have none, but, you know, that's life in the NFL. We're all supporting Trey and would love for him to be back. I don't know if a Bengal reporter would say the following. Would you be willing to restructure your contract to get Trey Hendrickson in here? Because I think that's going to have to happen. You know, quarterbacks get this money. Brady famously restructured his deal. You still get all that money. You're not giving anything back. You just don't get it when you're expected to. And, you know, you saw that Patrick Mahomes did that. You know, Jalen Brunson took less money. He didn't restructure his contract in New York. He just took less money so they could sign people. But I think Joe Burrow, they went all in. So they're. I don't know if this is a designed experiment. They're going to go all in on offense this year. They spent a whole lot of money, all their money on offense, it feels like. And then your first round pick is holding out. He plays defense, and then the guy who's had 35 sacks total in the last two years is holding out. This is sort of a. This is going to change some philosophies maybe, if the Bengals are able to pull this off of, try to stop us. I don't care how good your offense is, at some point you have to play defense. Yeah. I mean, you have to be competitive as a defensive team. At some point your season will come down to did you stop somebody or did somebody stop you? Just. It will, yeah. Paul, Last year the Bengals offense was fifth in the league. Their defense was 25th. Yeah, I got to get that defense to a top 15. Given that, you know, the hierarchy in the AFC, are you better than Baltimore, Are you better than Buffalo, you're better than Kansas City? I mean, just start there. Can you play defense? Can you be competitive? Can your defense win a couple of games? Because it feels like there's a couple of those games where you go, final score 17, 13. Well, it's because your defense, you can try to score 35 a game. Good luck with that. Yes. Marv, is there going to be pressure on Shamar Stewart to perform after all of this holdout stuff? Yes, because he was kind of an underachiever. Like when Paulie said some stats about his college career, I'm like, how many sacks did this kid had? What was it, Texas A and M? Yeah, he played three years, two real years as a full time starter. He had, he had three sacks in his past two seasons at A M, three total. And he's an edge rusher. Yes, he's one of those superstar high school guys, went to the right college, has always wowed people with his abilities, but the numbers don't match. Still Went in the first round. Yeah, yeah, but this is, this is language in that contract. The money's already decided. It's, you know, guarantees that are in there, back end stuff. And I don't know how many other teams, if other teams do this to their draft picks. But, you know, Stewart's agent said, you know, we, we don't want to agree to that. Hasn't played for them, hasn't done anything. And then all of a sudden you're going to hold out, you get into camp, better be good. It's like you're going to play pay. Trey Hendrickson better be good. But he's earned a raise. It's just, how much do you want to give him? Because you have to be honest of a defensive player, Ned rusher, who's what, 31 years of age? Yes, he's earned this because of what he did in the last two years. But then you have to be a good business person and say, yeah, you, you earned it, but I'm going to have to bet against you. I can't sign you to that kind of money. Yeah, Paul, Trey Hendrickson's. He's gotten paid but not paid paid over the past four seasons, he's averaged about $16 million a year in salary. So he's been a light bargain for them in production. We'll take a break. Last call for phone calls. What we learn what's in store tomorrow. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired Priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious. Somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the God damnedest love story you've ever heard. This day in sports history. Paulie. Yes, this day in sports history. The New York Yankees in 1948 officially retired Babe Ruth number three. Not sure why it took so long and sent it to the hall of fame. 1989, the Detroit Pistons won their first NBA title, beating the Lakers in four games. I don't remember that being a sweep. Wow, that. And that's it. The Chicago Bulls in 97 won their fifth title in seven seasons. That was Steve Kerr's last second shot gave the Bulls the win over the Utah Jazz. Also on this date in 2019, Toronto beat Golden State to win the NBA championship. Also 2016, LeBron had 41 and 16 rebounds. Kyrie added 41. Cavs beat the Warriors Game 5 of the NBA finals. Hey, let me see anything else in here. 1973, Fritz, he mentioned this in his snoreboard. Steve Garvey, Dave Lopes, Bill Russell, Ron say played together for the first time. They would spend almost nine years together. The same infield, which I think might be still a baseball record. Nine consecutive. Eight, eight consecutive years. The same infield there. Great infield. It just wasn't the big red machine. Reds had the best. Best Ashley Glenup probably in history. All right, Rich. Notre Dame. Hi, Rich. Hey, Dan. Hey, Rich. Dan, do you hear me? Yeah, I do Rich, I got you. First time caller, longest time listener. I've been with you since September of 1999, and it's been a great ride. Well, thank you, Rick. I just wanted to say. Oh, I'm stumped. Paul. Longest touchdown reception in NFL history. No, close. Mm. In history without scoring a touchdown. 98 yards. It was on a Monday Night Football game when he was playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. And he was known as Bobby Moore back then. It can never be broken because you. If you go 99, it's a touchdown or it starts on the end zone. All right, well, thank you, Dave. Ahmad Rashad, great athlete, great receiver. People forget that with Ahmad. Yes. Yes. Mark. I love what my uncle told me. He's like, man, Ahmad Rashad. Man, what a football player. And I'm looking at him like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy. Wasn't a football player. He hosts inside stuff, and he does the NBA on NBC. Idiot. I said idiot in my head. Wow. Ahmad Rashad. If you're going to pick a name that's pretty good, an awesome name. Yeah. Ahmad Rashad. Yes. Paulie, I'm watching the play. He was in. Oh, he was. He was in. He should file a grievance about Rashad, Bobby Moore, both of them. I remember when he said, why do you work so hard? This is years ago with Ahmad, and because I Played golf with him a few times. He'd go, why do you work so hard, man? I said, why don't you work so hard? Because he. He didn't have to do anything. And he said, you know, I get to play golf. I get, you know, smoke cigars, do whatever I want. I said, well, what's a work day for you? He goes, know what? Sometimes I'll go out and start my Mercedes, and then I'll turn it off and I'll go back in the house. I said, well, that can be exhausting, you know, but he was married to somebody who had a lot of money, and I think he just kind of stayed around the house and didn't have to do much.
