This kind of star studded a little bit, man. We met them at their homes. We met them at their recording studios. Stories matter and it brings a face to them. It makes it real. It really does. It makes real. Listen to new episodes of the War on Drugs podcast. Season two on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. And OKC is favored by six in this game. Trying to even the series. This is a must win. OKC is great. OKC has to win this game coming up tonight. OKC was favored by four, four and a half in the previous game. And of course, Indiana came out and had a ton of energy. You, you have an interesting situation going on with the Bengals with their rookie Shemar Stewart. He has now left camp. This is a guy who has a ton of potential but really never kind of gave you or produced that potential when he was in college. But the Bengals made him the 17th pick of the first round and he's complaining about the language in his contract. Your salaries are slotted with the NFL. First pick, fifth pick, 19th pick, you know, kind of what you're going to make. And then it gets into the language there. And that's the problem, that he and his agent don't like the language in there, which kind of puts a roadblock into getting the second contract, at least from what I'm told with the situation. Hockey last night was spectacular. It was, of course, Leon draisaitl my favorite. And it sounded like this in overtime in Florida Z. Brings back memories. No, I think it sounded like this calls it cross sides pass, rle, touch the net, score. We got drle in overtime. The Edmonton oilers tie the series, two games a piece. I see more aggressive shuffleboard, kind of, you know, pushing. It wasn't a shot. It was kind of a nudge. But. But it worked. It's almost like they were surprised that it was just kind of trickling in. But Leon Drais, he does this as well as anybody in the history of the sport. When you look Back on the regular season, I did a little homework today. So fourth overtime goal this postseason, that's the most in NHL history. He also had six overtime goals, game winning goals during the regular season. That's also an NHL record. So when the game is on the line, it's not Connor McDavid I'm worried about. It's Leon Dry Seidel. But in overtime, it's 3 0, it's 3 nothing in the first period. And I go, oh, my God, Florida, Florida is so unbelievable. And they're at home. They're up. They just dominated 6:1 in the previous game. And I'm thinking, all right, let me hang in here for a little bit. Then all of a sudden, there's a goalie change for Edmonton. All right, then there's a goal. Then there's a goal. See, it's the one at the end of the first period. I go, oh, my God, that's a crusher. Because you have to go in and just think about that for 20 minutes in between periods. And then all of a sudden they came out. Then all of a sudden they take the lead. And then all of a sudden, closing seconds. What? 18 seconds to go. Florida ties it up. Sam Reinhardt. And then we go into overtime. Now I'm thinking, all right, I got to make a business decision. Can I wait? Can I stay up? Can I watch overtime? I chose to go to bed. Anybody with me last night choosing to go to bed? Okay, everybody did. Because my wife goes, wait a minute, who won? I go, no, there's overtime. Where are you going? I'm overtime too, hon. I got to go to bed. And then you. I don't know, it was like two in the morning and I wake up, I go, I'll be damned. Leon draisaitl Hockey's delivered, man. If you think about this season, the Alex Ovechkin passing Gretzky, you've had a lot of excitement in the postseason. Maybe Canada is going to get the cup back. Finally. Florida. Florida. The state has had that Stanley cup for five years. Or at least they've been part of the Stanley cup final for five years. This is the sixth year. And maybe they keep the cup there. But it's been fun. It's been a lot of fun. And then you have the game coming up tonight. The odds makers still favor the Thunder to win in seven. That's your, that's your lowest bet, plus 170 that they win in seven. Thunder to win in six is the next best bet for the plus 200. And then it goes to the Pacers winning in six, Pacers winning in seven. Pacers winning in five. Shay Gilgia, still your favorite to win the MVP. But the game tonight, Thunder favored by six and still favored to win the title. And I would have thought that that game that they just won would have changed things a little bit. Maybe a little bit more. Maybe the Thunder aren't six points, six point favorites. Maybe it was going to be two or three. But the fact that they're still favorites in Indiana says a lot about what Vegas thinks of okc. All right, Seaton poll question for hour one on this meat Friday is going to be. Well, we got a few here from the Fritzel. Oh. If you're interested in. Okay. Oh, by the way, it came in. The gong came in. And this came up because Fritzi brought up the gong show, which was a show where if somebody was bad, they would hit a gong. And I said to the big German, can you get me a gong? He said, sure. So we went on the old Internet and we found a gong. And when something bad happens, usually a Fritzy bad joke or maybe a bad limerick, maybe a bad song, then you're going to hear the gong. And it. Let me try this for the first time. Whoa, that's fabulous. What do you think that's a bad thing if you hear that? Yes, that is. You know what? That sounds like an Emmy, Dan. That sounds like an Emmy. Yes. You might as well bang that thing with an Emmy. I'm just gonna bang on the gong all day, man. You know what? When they added the gong to the show, though, that's really where I put them ahead of pti. Yeah, the gong. Let me see the other shows that are going to add a gong after this. Yeah. Bang. I love the reverb. I'm still talking. Yeah, I'm still talking. Bang a gong. Get it on T. Rex. Yes, Todd. I just love that sound. I know it represents something negative, but I think it's a cool addition to the program. All right. Get used to it. There'll be a lot of that. Yeah. You'll be the reason why we bang the gong. Okay. Seaton poll question from Fritzi. Yeah, hold on. Oh, I didn't do the menu yet. We have done the menu. Clams casino. Clams casino. Fried artichokes. And we have lasagna, vodka sauce, Lasagna. And also, Dylan said that he would whip up a batch of pesto for me. Who has it better than we do? Nobody. Yes. Yes, Marvin. No, I just shake my head. Nobody. Oh, okay. All Right. You put your hand up when you were shaking your. I was raising the roof. Oh, okay. All right, Seaton, what's pull question? Well, we might as well start with. I think four out of the five of us are guilty of this. Turning off a Stanley cup final game heading into overtime is forgivable. I got to get up early and for work. Or inexcusable under any circumstances. That's one of those where you go, damn, I'm glad I stayed up. If you're an Edmonton fan or just a hockey fan, because overtime hockey is spectacular. By the way, Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift did show up and the Internet did not treat them kindly because they're like, they don't have an affiliation with either of these teams. We don't have to show them 50 times within the first 15 minutes of the game. But don't blame Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for going to the game. Right. I don't know. Doesn't that say something about your sport? That they would like to go and be part of it, Watch it? I don't know. I got. I got my Taylor Swift sweatshirt on today. You know, for the Swifties out there. I'm just happy they're in love. Is still going strong. Yes, Todd. I didn't have a problem with it, but I can see the hockey purists. You have nothing to do with the Panthers or the Oilers. And you got to all of a sudden be at the Stanley cup final and now TV is going to show them a million times to get an extra rating point or two. I can see if someone's all in on hockey. They're already sensitive about a lot of people that don't appreciate their sport. Now you got them showing up. Wait, but you have somebody who is showing up for your sport? Yeah, but they don't go. Do they go to regular season games at this game for the final, any celebrity can show up when. Okay, who did? Spotlight is big. Who did they did. I don't know. Run down the other celebrities who showed up. Point. I'm sure there were a few others. Was Pitbull there or Gloria Estefan? Nice. Yes. Seaton. I don't really like gatekeeping your sport like that. Like you don't deserve to be in or you shouldn't be in Watching my sport. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't really like that. Well, it doesn't matter. She could go to a Chiefs game and her boyfriend is playing for the Chiefs, but all of a sudden the. It's the networks who do this. She doesn't say I'll go, but you must show me 15 times. It doesn't work that way. Blame the networks. Don't blame her and him. The fact that they went to the game tells you, man, it's pretty exciting. And you don't like Taylor Swift, so that's why you're a buzzer. I love Taylor Swift and I preface what I said by saying I had no problem with them being there. I'm saying I could understand the hockey pier saying, you know, if they go to games, you know, periodically and now they're at the. But no one was there. Run down. This isn't a Knicks game or a Lakers game. Did you have a problem with some of those people who went to the Knicks game who probably don't go during the regular season? And the answer is no, you didn't. Except when Boogie with a hoodie shows up and they make a big deal about him. I'm still missing that whole thing. Shaboozy. Yes, Paulie. I actually don't think anyone was bothered by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce being there and the cutaway shots by the network. What it is is three people post that on Twitter and then a bunch of like half assed media companies take that and post something so they can get clicks off a Taylor Swift Travis Kelce story. Okay. This is not a real thing and no one's really bothered. Yeah, they kind of ride the wave of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Right. But hey, I'm happy they're they're going strong and if they get engaged before this show comes to an end, Fritz, he has to take a wedding cake in the face. Yes, Todd. The other thing, the one thing I do have a problem with, and it happens with the Chiefs too. When something good or bad happens, you got to show both. When the Chiefs are doing well and they're high fiving and they're giddy, they never really go to them. When something bad happens and bad things have happened in the course of a game to the Chiefs last night they high five, one goal, two goals, three nothing. They were obviously rooting for the Panthers and then all of a sudden when things started getting messy, I don't remember them going up to the booth there like with despondent faces, how it's now 3, 2 3, 3 and what's happening. So just be fair and show the excitement and also the disappointment. Okay? That's all. I, I would have been fine if they went up there and showed the disappointment. I only saw the three, the high fives and the excitement when the Panthers did well. Did not see any sad reaction. All right. Gotta show both. Be a journalist. There's no journalism anymore. There's a horse named journalism. That's it. Fair. Fair. Bob Lee's not walking through that door. That's accurate. You know, there's no journalism. And blame the networks. They're the ones that show, you know, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey. Okay, what else do we have? Poll question wise? Let's see if the pacers go up 3, 1 tonight. This series is over. I'm not going to say over. It is. Oh, I will not say that. I will not say that. But I do think it's a must win situation for okc. Can. Can it be both? Yes. Yes. Must win. Ish. Well, they have to win it. If they don't win it, I still think they obviously have a chance because they're still playing, which removes must. It's a musty. Okay. It's. It's a musty Game four in Indiana. It's really musty in here. Musty, musty. Also to the networks who keep promoting the Indiana Fever and their next game, Caitlin Clark is not playing. But when you see the promos for that, Caitlin Clark's there for the Indiana Fever, she's not playing she game against Atlanta. She wasn't playing, but they are. They keep promoting the fact that Caitlin Clark in the Fever, I guess technically she can be there in street clothes, but she's not playing the Indiana Fever. And Caitlin Clark, I'm like, she's not playing. Yes, Paul, they should alter the promo. Tune in to watch Caitlin Clark watch the Fever versus the Atlanta. Whatever. Caitlin Clark will watch the game with you. Yes. Yes, Todd. They should let Caitlin know somehow when they're gonna put the camera on her, she's gonna act like she's kind of hurt or injured or just kind of getting through it. I'm here at the basketball game, but that's why I can't play. I'm okay enough to kind of sit here, but I am suffering through some injury stuff. Just, just so she can make a little face like, ah, I'm just gonna battle through watching this final game, but I can't actually play. That's what I think. They should put a. Put a little thing in her ear and say, we're gonna go to you now. Act like you're a little uncomfortable. That's my man's opinion. Thank you. Todd, you had a gong right there. No, I'm not. I. I was going to set you up so you could. That felt like it's a pretty good setup for the gong. I think that's a whiff on you. You get gong, you're gonna do it. The delay. Todd is actually being so generous there. Set you up and you let me down there. No, because then I'm like, oh, you're picking on him again. That happens anyway. But you were on gong watch. You just introduced the gong a few minutes ago. People definitely weren't thinking that when you just told the story about how you ordered the gong. I ordered the gong for the show because there are times when there's some bad takes or somebody screws up. Mine was a terrible take. They should show Caitlin Clark looking like she's uncomfortable and injured. That's why she. But you do this, nobody will use an injury to, you know, his advantage. Like, remember the plantar fasciitis? Oh, still not completely away. And then you got hurt playing wiffle ball. How long? You're still recovering. You haven't played another wiffle ball. I got a couple. I went to the doctor and we were talking about Tommy John. Thankfully, it didn't go to that point, but there were x rays taken. It was some kind of ligament swelling. You are the softest. I tried the icy hot. I tried stretching exercises. It wasn't working. I thought, like, I was up to go into the night from a wiffle ball swing. Okay. It's not a coincidence that you played wiffle ball once and you played really well. Then you got hurt. Now you're done. You played pickleball and you played really well, and then you got hurt. What is that? Now you're fragile? Yes. You are very. I can't get. I can't string two games in a row, Todd. It's called soft, soft, soft. All right, we'll settle on a poll question. We're ready to go on this Friday. Yes. Marvin, is fritzi more physically fragile or emotionally fragile? Oh, let's take a break. I think it's physically fragile, mostly disturbed. Let's. We'll take a break. Which would you rather be? Yeah. Oh, five minute poll. We'll vote on this. We'll explore Fritzi more mentally fragile or physically fragile. We'll take a break. This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover in a hell bent effort to sabotage a war. J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI and he wanted to bring the Catholic left to its knees. The FBI went around to all their neighbors and said to them, do you think these people are good Americans? It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the goddamnedest love story you've ever heard. I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll ever make in my life. I couldn't believe it. I mean, Brendan, it was Divine Intervention. You can now binge all 10 episodes of Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Gotta lay the groundwork for my next movie with Sandler. Gonna have dinner with him, so gotta see what he's working on. We've already wrapped Happy Gilmore 2. In fact, I got invited to a screening coming up in July. But yeah, I gotta find out what the Sandman's doing just so I can drop a little hint, see what my next role is going to be. Yes, Paul, Happy Gilmore 2, released July 2025. July 25, 2025. That's cool. And I don't know, since it's Netflix, I don't know if they're going to have one of those premieres because there's a lot of stars that are in this movie. So it'd be nice to rub shoulders, was we like to say. But I got to check with Sandman on that. But yeah, late July for Happy Gilmore 2. Yes, Marv, are you getting a plus four? No, it's a plus one. Plus one. So obviously I'm gonna take Tyler. Yes, Paul, as Netflix. Does Netflix ever release one of their films in a theater? And then you could watch it on Netflix after just to give both experiences. I think there are movies that are. I don't know what the movie industry is doing anymore. I. All I know is that they're shooting movies any place but Hollywood, it feels like. But I think they'll have a limited run in a theater and then they'll put it on Netflix. Or some of the other streaming partners. I. Sandler's contract is with Netflix. He makes movies for Netflix. Yeah, I don't know the finances behind it, but it feels like movie theaters are back. Ish. After Covid. I've been to a few movies in the past year and they were kind of full and you can buy drinks and the seats are way better and the sound is way better. I wonder if they're. I wonder if the numbers are up. Yeah, I don't know what. And it, you know, it's a lot of kids movies that you can go to the theater, Marvel movies, feels like. I just worry that these smaller movies, independent films like those are the ones that may get kicked to the curb because we do love a sequel. I mean, I'm in one with Sandler, you know, grown ups too, in a sequel. Hey, water boy, are they going to do a sequel for that? Maybe that's what Derrick Henry would be in if they did a sequel to that. And I have to say to Sandler, how about we lower the yardage total for Derrick Henry to 1500 yards? What do you think about that suggestion? 2000. That's a lot. 1500. And I'm, you know, I'm going to say to Sandler, we're going to get more interest the closer that he gets to that. If he's got one game to go and he's 250 or 300 yards away from 2000, we lost a little bit of that, that oomph. But maybe we can ride this a little bit and have 1500 yards. Certainly seems achievable for Derek Henry. Yeah, see, so you don't think 2,000 yards is achievable for Derek Henry? I do, but I would bet on the under. Isn't that part of the fun though? But I want it to be realistic where you can do the math and go, this is still a probability. Whereas 1500 yards, once he gets to a thousand, now we start to do the math. How many games he plays. Does Sandler go to that last game or next to last game where he's going to get over 1500 yards and then all of a sudden cut away to Sandler on the sidelines, big embrace with Derrick Henry, tears. He's going to be in the next movie and he gets to go to dinner with Sandler. So I got to talk to Sandler about our strategy, our marketing strategy here. Yeah, Paul, man, I think 2000 is the number. It got a lot of buzz. It's already kind of branded as 2000. Sandler Henry Dan Patrick show. I think if you alternate officially, that's bad News. He was 79 yards away last year. I know. You lower it by 25%. It's like, oh, and why didn't you just put him in the movie in the first place? Who cares about the yards? Yeah. Stick with 2K. Yeah. I think it's a huge mistake. Why 2K? Yeah. Because see what I did with that? Time for you. Okay, good. I think you guys should have dueling guns. No. I might come in Monday with Todd's own little handheld. Little one. He can get you. By the way, if you're watching on Peacock Fritz, he has his own pickleball paddle, and it's a picture of him when he was the goat, when he had his headband that said goat on it. Although it doesn't look like you suddenly lost a lot of weight and got angrier, according to that. Is that somebody other than you? It kind of looks like you, but it looks like they've doctored the photo. Very bizarre. It's not. I don't want to say off putting. It's just odd. It's strange. I think it's a. Like a. A slimmer. Yeah. Sleeker you. And a more pissed off version of me. I'm usually kind of smiling. Oh, you're very scary. When somebody's playing pickleball and they see that, they're gonna be like, whoa. But it's weird. It's like it's me and a morph of somebody else. Yes. Others. Yes. It doesn't look like it's. It looks like you a little bit, but, yeah. You have your own paddle and it says goat on it. All right, some phone calls here. Tom in North Carolina. Good morning, Tom. What's on your mind today? Hey, D.P. i got a question about the gong, but I was just going to mention to Paulie and Seaton real quick about those movies, that subject you guys were going over yesterday. I was wondering about the movie Brian Song. In the movie Rudy, you got young Vince Vaughn, the young James Collin eps, pre Godfather. So I was kind of Billy D. Williams. Billy Dee Williams was Gail Sears in that movie. But yeah, Rudy. Rudy's a good call. Jay in Delaware. Hi, Jay. What's on your mind? Hey. Hey. Good morning, guys. Todd hasn't played the morning. I don't know who has control of that gong, but I feel like they should just start hitting it as soon as I start talking. Earlier in the week, I found out you guys had a TJ McConnell in your squad. Sixth man of the year Dylan is my new hero. No. After what he did the other day, at the ripe age of 40 years old, I would have had to call out after a week or call out for a week after. After going that day, he had a day. And I wanted to add to that music conversation. I don't think you guys mentioned Greece. Was Greece mentioned? Because, you know, Josh, Vulture wasn't. Wasn't very big. It was, I feel like, for the quite a bit of stars in a couple movies from my childhood, Lethal Weapon. That was when we first found out Mel Gibson was actually crazy. Yeah. Yeah. But Mel was still a movie star by then. And in Greece, Olivia Newton John was huge. A very, very famous singer. Yes. Marvin, was Greece after Saturday Night Fever? I believe so. Does that sound right? Double check. I believe so. Let me see. David in Ohio. Hi, David. What's on your mind today? Hey, Dan. Happy meat Friday. Nobody. I know Florida Panther fans are a little about the result last night, but I think they just need to shake it off and get over it. Okay. All right, thank you. Thank you, David. If Florida wins last night, then Panther fans don't have a problem with Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift. Yes, Todd, I see Saturday night fever late 77 and then mid June 78, Greece. They were like almost right on top of each other. Yeah. So Greece came after Saturday Night Fever by about six months. All right, thank you, John. But Olivia Newton John was a big deal as a singer, not as an actress. Yeah, we got a lot of reaction to that. We were. We were looking for movies that were very successful but didn't have box office stars. Sort of like what you have with the NBA Finals. We were trying to do a comparison or draw a parallel there, I think, is what we were trying to do. Andy in Rhode Island. Hi, Andy. What's on your mind today? Good morning, Dan. What's up, Danettes? Dan, last night I was just the opposite of you. I was sitting around 11 o' clock and I was like, wait a second. NHL finals on. I turned it on and it was the overtime. And I was like, whoa, hold on. And to my, to my luck, Draisaitl, you know, comes up on the sub sports. And I was just left in amazement. Dan, it was wow. And it's Leon Draisaitl. Of course, we only bring him up usually in June, May or June. I forgot to answer the question that was brought to our attention. Is physic Fritzy physically or mentally soft? Marvin, what would you say? Physically. Okay, Paul. Clearly physically. I think it's mentally pretty tough all right, Seaton. Physical or mental with Todd? Decisions, decisions. I think physically. Wow. Wow. Todd, do you think you're more physically or mentally soft? I'm gonna go physically. I got my share of emotional issues too, but if I had to pick one, you put me on the spot. Physically, actually. Yeah. You know, it is true. Tada is the ability to come back in here day after day for 18 years of this treatment. It definitely speaks to a strong mental constitution. There's no doubt about it. Or maybe clueless. Yeah, yeah. Or just be completely unaware. I'm pretty sure he's aware of how he's treated John in Tampa. Hi, John. Hey, good morning, Dan. I'm a first time caller from Tampa and I just had a thought a few minutes ago that I think most people would initially think is hysterical because the person answering your phones laughed hysterically when I told him what I was calling about. But if the Panthers win this Stanley cup playoff of 2025, the state of Florida will now be the center of the hockey universe. Well, I think it already is. They're defending champs and they're back in the Stanley cup finals. Then you had the Tampa Bay Lightning and their run. That's exactly. But I, I don't think 1% of people realize that the Tampa Bay Lightning went three years, 1, 2, and then the next three years the Panthers are one in one. And if they win, which they're favored to do, they will have won two out of three. So the state of Florida will be four of six, having been in all six finals, having won four and. Okay, John, I followed along with you and you, you explained it well. I would say Florida, if you want to say the state of Florida is the center of the hockey universe. Yeah, I'm okay with that. Yes, Todd, Hockey might be bigger in Florida now than Canada. Wow. A little sarcastic. Yeah. Do the gong if you want. If you didn't love it. No, no, I gotta use it sparingly to start out with. I mean, I'm, I'm, I'm tempted to, but I, I want to be very judicious with this, that it doesn't feel like I'm, I'm piling on. Yes, Paul. It does feel though, like the state of Minnesota is the home of hockey in America. The most people playing it, the most access to it and the importance of it. I know their NHL team isn't winning titles, but does feel like Minnesota is a home of hockey. Yeah. Especially high school. Yeah. Like Minnesota to high school hockey is like Indiana to high school basketball. I would think or maybe Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas or Ohio to high school football. Or California. Yes. Todd, Isn't the Frozen Four always like Minnesota and Boston and maybe Sprinkle in Colorado or something? Seems like every year, right. Minnesota's in the Final Four. They just put them in there, regardless of what their record is. The Frozen Four. The Frozen Four. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Seaton. I feel like there's a strong upstate New York contingent for hockey. It's not the whole state, but that there's sort of a Buffalo Lake, placid hockey obsession, for sure. How about when Union. Didn't Union win the Division 1 championship couple years ago? Yeah. The Frozen Four this year. Penn State, Boston U. Western Michigan. I think it was their first time. Yeah, Denver is usually. Denver's usually pretty good. I think Denver's lacrosse as well. Colin in Iowa. Hi, Colin. What's on your mind? Hey, how's it going? Great. First off, I just shout out to my dad for early Father's Day. Happy Father's Day, Todd Warner. Okay. Why are you rubbing in our faces? Do you know that my dad's dead? Paulie's dad's dead, Fritzi's dad is dead, and Marvin's dad is dead to him. Yeah, I was a little hesitant, but I have to do it. He introduced me to the show, so. All right, all right, fair enough. All right, so big shout out to your dad. Happy Father's Day. Show off. Yeah. What else do you. What else do you have, Colin? So you guys are talking about movie sequels and NBA Finals. I was wondering, what NBA Finals would you like a sequel to or a rematch, if it could happen? A rematch. Are we talking one game, Colin? Oh, let's do a series. Oh, a series. Okay. So this is all time. Yeah. All right, well, if you can give me Celtics, Lakers again, I'll sign up for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll sign up for that any day of the week. You're. You're in buildings, but there are times when you're in a building and you go, it's just different. And being in the Boston Garden back then, and, you know, I grew up going, man, that's the Boston Garden Celtics against the 76ers. It felt like every Sunday afternoon. Oh, look at the floor, the way the lights were. They made it as if it was a stage. It was like Broadway. There was a play going on, and then all of a sudden, I get there. I get there early, three hours early. I'm going to the Garden. Tell my family I'm going to the Garden, and I get there. And I go, wait a minute, What. What happened to the garden? This. This is a dump. And then I go down on the floor and I'm checking out the parquet and like, oh, man, this is great. That birds out there shooting three hours before. Get to look. And then you see big gaps in the parquet and you're going, dang. And then I went into the locker room, and my high school locker room was nicer than the. The visiting locker room. The low ceilings, probably lead paint on the wall. I don't think they had hot water, but that was probably on purpose by red arbor. But I just remember going, wait a minute. What happened here? There's a lot of history there. Yes. Eaton. You know what? I would throw on that list too, of ones to run back. 2016, NBA Finals, Cavs, Warriors. That was LeBron and Kyrie together before Kevin Durant went to the Warriors. That was. That's a hell of a finals right there. I would do knicks, Lakers in 1970. That went to a Game 7 with Willis Reed, you know, coming out and hitting a couple of buckets because he would be healthy this time around. Would it be different? And Clyde Frazier had one of the great game sevens in NBA history. One of the great game seven forgotten game seven performances in NBA history. It's hard to go 36 points and 19 assists against Jerry west in the Lakers. And it's an. Oh, by the way. And your MVP is Willis Reed. Wait a minute. He scored four points. Willis Reed is your mvp? Yes, Paulie. My pick would be for a rematch. The 93 Bulls versus Suns NBA Finals. More so of the Suns angle of it. I thought the Suns had them. I think that's the closest Jordan came to losing. And can you imagine if Barkley had won head to head against Jordan, how much different that relationship would be? And Barkley's history would be the one guy to take him down. I really thought Barkley had that one. Yeah, they were a good team. Oof. They were good. They had a lot of depth. Kevin Johnson, I mean, yeah. Richard Dumas, he was only in the league for a few years. Danny Ainge, Tom Chambers, deep bench. Yeah. If Tom Chambers won a title, he'd be in the hall of Fame, probably. Sure. Great player. And Barkley. All I know is when I was at the Jim Valvano golf tournament in Cary, North Carolina, and we sat at the table after we had played a round of golf, Barkley was there, Buckner was there, Digger Phelps was there, Lou Holtz was there, Michael Jordan was there. And I just Remember, people were kind of going back and forth, and then Charles said some things about Michael and then got a big laugh from the table. And then all of a sudden, Mike went Mike on him. And that's when he went, scoreboard. And then that ended the party. It wasn't any fun after that. It was. Mike was going to take a couple of blows here. And then all of a sudden he was going in. He was going for the jugular. And it had to do with Charles not winning a championship. Anywho, that's where you go. Have another beer. Please. Take a break. Our play of the day is up next. Seton sent out a tweet at halftime of that Patriots win against the Falcons and it said what I believe it was and so begins the greatest comeback in NFL history. Did you truly believe that? Of course. Of course. You knew that was going to happen? Of course. Because you got Tom Brady on your side. I know, like, you know, everybody in the house is like, this game sucks. What are they doing? Whatever. Like, no, no, no. This is the comeback right here. This is going to be the best second half of football we ever watched. I went to a party because we normally go to the super bowl for our coverage during the week, and I try to come home so I can watch the game. I get more out of it when I'm watching it on tv. So my wife goes, we got a party. I go, no, the Super Bowl. She goes, it's a Super bowl party. I go, oh. I said, I'm gonna stay for the first half. And so it's. It. You know, of course, the Patriots are getting roughed up, and then I decide to leave. And then all of a sudden, the comeback starts. So everybody was blaming me for the first half of the Patriots performance, and then they were crediting me leaving for the second half performance. And so I. You know, whenever they. Big Patriot fans, they're like, yeah, there's our good luck charm. I said, yeah, when I leave the party, I'm your good luck charm. When I was there, they're like. Because they said, who do you like? I go, I like the Patriots. They're getting smoked. Oh, you know, like, I. For some reason, I'm to blame that the Patriots are being blown out 28 to 3. And then the comeback begins. Yes. Yeah. The. I remember that day being. Because my son was like. He was like 7, I think. He's young. He's crying, you know, and he's like, I'm staying. Whatever. Like, I had to tell him at some point in the first half, if you don't stop, I'm turning the game off, and you're not watching. Nobody's watching the game anymore. You gotta chill out, all right? And they sat, and then slowly they came ticking back inch by inch. If you don't stop, we're turning the game off. All of a sudden, you have a moment where you're like, oh, my God, I'm such a dad. How did I become this dad? You know? Yeah, Paulie. They replay that game on NFL Network all the time. You could see that Super Bowl. And when you're watching that third quarter, you're like, this doesn't make sense. This team can't come back. The odds are so against it. I think I got the box score right here. Atlanta's up 28, 9. Late in the third, they've got second and one, and they get called for holding. Then an incomplete pass. Then remember, Matt Ryan takes that sack. Or they get a field goal. If they don't take the sack, they probably get a field goal. And now it's 319 going into the fourth. Yeah. They had numerous opportunities to put the Patriots away. Yes. Zach in Knoxville. Hi, Zach. Welcome back, adp. Thanks for taking my call. You said earlier that you didn't want to pile up on Fritzi with the gong. I just want to let you know that that ship sailed about 20 years ago. Oh, but I have the gong back then. Zach pile up on him. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. But he asked for it. Like he wants it, that is. Todd, do you ask for it and do you want it? I don't think I asked for it. I deserve it. There's definitely a difference there. All right. There's a whole study of abusive relationships taking place right now. About the. But. But who has given you more than anything else in your career? Nobody. That would be. That'll be you. You've. From the things we've somebody that'd be you. I said that. Yeah. Just. Just the things we've experienced. Yeah. Places we've gone and people have met. That alone. Forget about even what we do here every day. Yeah. Yeah. Is it even. Is it balanced down of well, I've had my share of therapy and medication and stuff like that, so I don't know, it kind of bounces out, I guess. Did you ever think that I had thera of you? That didn't cross my mind. You're a lot more strong minded than me. I didn't think that you would need anything like that. I am mentally weak, Todd. That's not true.
