Suffering is never fun, but God has a purpose for it. Maybe you’ve heard that, and you want to eye-roll at the idea. I promise, this is not the cheesy encouragement you may have received!

We realize just how much God loves us when we finally submit to God’s purposes in our suffering. Why? Because we often realize how sinful we are, and only when we realize how sinful we are can we realize how much God loves us.
