what's up everyone and welcome to another episode of of the Epstein Chronicles. Whenever I hear people say that Jeffrey Epstein was just some random predator who had no help from anybody, who just had some disgusting proclivities, it really makes me want to put my head through a wall because there were a lot of people around this dude who were helping him out. Whether that was providing coverage, whether that was providing a refurbishment of his stature and his image, or whether that was opening doors for Jeffrey Epstein to walk through into so called high society. And in this episode, that's what we're going to be talking about. And we're going to be talking about the woman who helped open those doors for him. And that woman is Peggy Siegel. Now, we've talked about Peggy Siegel plenty of times in the past here on the podcast and she was somebody that really opened a lot of doors into social circles for Jeffrey Epstein. And I think it's super important that people understand that without people like Peggy Siegel, there would have been no way that Jeffrey Epstein could have done anywhere near the amount of damage that he ended up doing because he would have ended up getting caught. If he was just some sick degenerate, he would have had the protection or the COVID and inevitably somebody would have come forward and ratted him out just like it happened in real time. The problem is he was protected. And the reason he was protected is because of people like Peggy Siegel. This article was published by Fox News and the headline A List Publicist Reveals Epstein's Baby Mama Search. Hundred thousand Dollar gift. Five bombshells from Peggy Siegel's tell all. This article was authored by Lauren Overholtz. Hollywood power broker Peggy Siegel saw her career unravel after her ties to Jeffrey Epstein came under scrutiny following the financier pedophiles 2019 arrest on sex trafficking charges. Roughly 5,000 emails between Siegel and Epstein sent between 2009 and 2019 were released by the Department of Justice earlier this year. The correspondence between Siegel, who represented clients such as Steven Spielberg, Harvey Weinstein, and Barry Levinson shed new light on the pair's seemingly symbiotic relationship. Look, there's no doubt Peggy Siegel was somebody that was very close to Jeffrey Epstein and somebody that opened a lot of doors. And it's certainly not lost on me this, that she also represented Harvey Weinstein's dirty ass. I mean, if you're so unscrupulous that you're going to represent people like Weinstein, there's no doubt that you'd have no problem being involved with Jeffrey Epstein either. Seagull opened up about what she gained from her association with Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial, allegedly. You notice how confidently they say that, which is crazy as hell considering everything that we're going through right now, all the documents, all the witness testimony and the evasiveness of the guards. I don't know how anybody could look at this and say, oh yeah, he killed himself and say that confidently. The revelations offer a closer look at the Hollywood publicist role in Epstein's social orbit and the fallout that followed. Well, here's an idea. Don't associate with scumbags. If it was just work, that's different. Right? Again, look, people have jobs all the time that bring them into contact with scummy people. So I'm not going to malign somebody if, you know, they have a job as, like a lawyer. And they're defending a dirt bag. That's their job. It's when they go over the line. It's when they cross into that gray area, right when they stop becoming an officer of the court and start becoming an associate. And with Jeffrey Epstein, a lot of his lawyers were in that gray area. And of course, the same goes for somebody like Peggy Siegel. Jeffrey Epstein gifted Peggy Siegel a hundred thousand dollars for his 70th birthday in 2017, roughly two years before the financier pedophile was arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors. I had no problem taking his money, she told New York magazine. He had lots of it. Oh, well, in that case, let's just take money from whoever. But you know what? The truth is, Peggy Siegel is not somebody who's unique here. That's how they all felt. That's how they all still feel. And when the next Jeffrey Epstein shows up, and he inevitably will, it'll be the same people with the same excuses once again. Oh, I had no idea. We didn't know. Nobody told me that he was a sick guy. And it'll just go on and on and on. Siegel laid out her plan on how she was hoping to spend the money in an email to Epstein. 30,000 was set aside for a birthday party she wanted to host in Southampton with 70 guests. Another 15,000 was to be donated to Elton John's AIDS foundation so she could attend a party at his house in June. Siegel also revealed that she used some of the huge sum to supplement her apartment renovation. And as she was looking for a temporary fix while she awaited an amazing brown and beige leopard rug that is wall to wall carpeting for my whole apartment and being made in France. Oh, well, talk about class. Let me just get some wall to wall beige leopard rug and throw it on my floor. I mean, what does she think she is, Tony Montana? Say hello to when the apartment gets done. You're my first visitor, she wrote at the time. Aww, how cute. What a great little friend couple these two were. While Peggy Siegel claims she never went to Jeffrey Epstein's island or traveled on his plane, the Hollywood publicist helped the disgraced millionaire regain access to elite social circles following his time behind bars in the 2000s. According to New York Magazine, Siegel got Epstein invited to to the 2013 Met Gala and helped him gain access to dinners alongside a list names such as Martha Stewart, Lauren Michaels, and Google's CEO Eric Schmidt. Well, I'm sure that he got help from Leon Black too, considering Leon Black station with the Met. So I'm sure that Leon Black stepped in and helped too. But there's no doubt that Peggy Siegel played a gigantic part when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein and and his rubbing elbows with people like Lauren Michaels and Eric Schmidt. She also routinely added him to screening lists and occasionally brought him herself. A close associate of Siegel claimed the publicist became the linchpin for Epstein's social life. Look, there's no doubt about that. And I told you that years ago, Glenn Maxwell was making a lot of the introductions when it comes to, you know, different kinds of elite. But when it comes to the social circle that Peggy Siegel was running in Hollywood, famous people, actors. That was Epstein's inn and Peggy Siegel was his gal. Peggy Siegel helped Jeffrey Epstein plan a party filled with a list guests and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor as a guest of honor. According to emails, Epstein was eager to befriend Woody Allen and and suggested Siegel invite the director to his party. Woody is a great idea. Do you know Woody? I do, she wrote back. The publicist seemed to consider the possibility it could create fallout. Could there be any resistance because he had a public issue with Soon Yi? Just thinking ahead, I think that there were friends before that, Jeffrey Epstein and Woody Allen. I think they've been friends for a lot longer than that and there was just an invite. So I think there's a little bit of a confusion here as far as Siegel and, you know, Jeffrey Epstein and Woody Allen and their relationship.

Boss, what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh, it's what is it about? And why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved. For over a decade, we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that Some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The lapsed fan podcast. Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

She suggested inviting art dealer and Alan's close friend Lauren Da Asche, writing, he may feel better if people he knows are around him. On the other hand, a royal may intrigue him. Siegel insisted to New York magazine that the dinner party was a total exception and that she never hosted parties for Epstein. She claimed that she had only agreed to this party in order to get Harvey Weinstein's film, the King's Speech, the former Prince Andrew, and in front of Queen Elizabeth ii. Oh, yeah, because they didn't have access to the movies over in the uk, the royal family couldn't have the movie brought to the palace for them to watch. Who the do you think you're kidding? Because you're not fooling me. And I promise you, you're not fooling the people listening who are a lot smarter than me in a lot of cases. All right, so cut the nonsense. Harvey had been trying to get a quote from the queen. She told the outlet, noting she had been marketing the movie at the time. It was ridiculous. Looking back, Siegel claimed that she jeopardized her relationship with all these important people by inviting them around Epstein. They didn't know who he was. Yeah, right. Yeah, right. I'm getting really tired of having what little bit of intelligence I have insulted by these people. Like they truly believe we're just all so stupid we're gonna take every bit of they serve us and like Oliver Twist, ask for more. All the Jeffrey's illegal immoral behavior was in Palm beach, and he went to jail in Palm beach. And the New York Times never wrote about him. World famous newscasters didn't know who Jeffrey Epstein was. And they counted on my relationship with them to invite them to an interesting evening, which I had many, many times before they came on my say so. That's such a lie. People were reporting on Epstein all the way back then like it was nobody's business. So she's just straight up lying here like everybody else that was around them. Obviously, because they know how radioactive Jeffrey Epstein was and still is. The New York Times did write about Epstein's 2008 jail stint. They're not the only ones Jeffrey Epstein's emails to Hollywood publicist Peggy Siegel showed that he may have been interested in finding a baby mama. You schmooze and find me a baby mama, Epstein wrote in an email. Well, that hits a little different knowing that we heard that Epstein had a baby. A baby mama. If I wasn't 102, I would take that job in a nanosecond. The publicist wrote back. Oh, that's a good look. You want to be impregnated by Jeffrey Epstein, huh? Peggy Siegel. Yikes. I need great jeans. Epstein added, smart, pretty, funny. If you were 50 years younger. Whoops, 40, she responded. I'm thinking this is a position for a European who understands the mistress, in this case, baby mama mentality. You need someone young, without much of a career, maybe a professional student, someone who is kept and can just keep going to school, also who doesn't have much of a family herself. I want to be a socialite is not the way to go. Looking and looking. Xoxo, Peg. Wow. The disgust that builds in my stomach whenever we read these stories about these women who are looking for other women is just unbelievable. Almost like exorcist levels of vomit want to come out of my mouth. How could a woman do that? I just don't understand. And let's be very clear, 43% of people that are involved in human trafficking, as far as the traffickers are women. How do you think they get the guard down of the girls that they're targeting? Some creepy ass old dude isn't cruising up. It's somebody like Sarah Kellen Vickers. Peggy Siegel admitted she wasn't oblivious to the fact that Jeffrey Epstein was morally compromised and a con man. I was in denial. But if I tell you that he told me he's changed his ways, then that's telling you I knew that he was a pervert. She told New York Magazine. I mean, obviously I had a sense that he had done something wrong if he had gone to jail. Siegel added, I wasn't oblivious that he was morally compromised and a con man. But I don't know how to say this to you. The idea of child pornography is so heinous that you can't even think about it. You can't even discuss it. I know it sounds crazy, but it's nothing I wanted to deal with. Yeah, you know who didn't want to deal with it? The kids being abused. Peggy, I'm glad you had fun. I'm glad you had a great time with your boy Jeffrey. I'm glad you wanted him to impregnate you. But I can promise you, the survivors wanted nothing of the sort. And you see how flipping she is here? Like, just writing it off like it's just some big mistake. Like it's no big deal. Ah, you know, just a big mistake. But not a tragic one. Not one that should end my career. Well, Peggy Siegel, I have bad news for you. Your career, that's finished. And your legacy, whatever's left of it, if anything is left of it, will forever be tarnished and weighed down by the anchor known as Jeffrey Epstein. And guess what, Peggy Siegel, you have no one to blame but yourself. All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this one. In this episode, host Bobby Capucci delves into the role of Hollywood publicist Peggy Siegal in helping Jeffrey Epstein reestablish himself in elite social circles after his first conviction. The episode is driven by newly released emails and a recent exposé, exploring how the machinery of high society enabled Epstein’s continued access and influence, despite mounting evidence of his crimes. Capucci analyzes Siegal’s complicity, attitudes of denial among elites, and the broader cultural context that allowed Epstein to operate with impunity.
Capucci weaves together newly released documents and pointed commentary to expose how influential figures like Peggy Siegal helped preserve Epstein’s status in society—even after his crimes were known. The episode argues convincingly that the complicity and protection extended to Epstein by Hollywood and social elites was essential to his longevity—and will likely repeat itself unless such enablers are held accountable.
