What's up everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Now that the Epstein files have been released, the congressional committee has taken a bit of a back seat when it comes to the investigation. Well, today Ghulain Maxwell is going to be deposed by Congress. However, before we get too excited, she's already stated she plans on taking the fifth. So she doesn't plan on answering any of these questions that are going to be posed to her by Congress. And unfortunately, that's to be expected. Ghislaine Maxwell was never going to answer any questions that put anybody on the hot seat. If she was going to do that, she would have done it a long time ago. So I feel like it's performative by Congress to even call her to be deposed and not because she can't offer anything up. She most certainly can. When it comes to filling in timelines, when it comes to talking about the other people that were involved, the other people that were around, the other people that were enjoying their time, if you will, at Jeffrey Epstein's house, she could definitely fill in those blanks. But Glenn Maxwell will never admit that she did anything wrong because in her demented mind, she didn't. So today that's going to be the big news, right? That Glenn Maxwell is set to be deposed. Unfortunately, we're not going to get much from it. This article was published by the Daily Mail and the headline, ghisan Maxwell is set to plead the fifth as she appears before the US Congress investigating Jeffrey Epstein today. This article was authored by Adam Pogrund. Glenn Maxwell is expected to plead the fifth when she appears before a U. S. Congress board investigating Jeffrey Epstein's crimes on Monday. Maxwell, 64, an accomplice of the late pedophile, will be questioned behind closed doors but is set to invoke her her right to not answer any questions. She is currently serving a 20 year prison sentence for trafficking girls to sex offender financier Epstein and will face questions from prison via video link in a deposition by the House of Representatives Oversight Committee. So it's basically just a waste of time. Instead of deposing Ghislaine Maxwell, why don't we depose Sarah Kellen Vickers? Why don't we depose Leslie Groff? Or how about Adriana Ross? Might be a good idea. No, you see, the problem is if they did any of that, they'd have to widen the scope of their investigation. And that's what they've always tried to avoid because the wider the scope is, the more people that are going to get drawn into it. And that's what they've wanted to avoid this whole entire time. And that's why it's so important that people think that this is just one sick madman, just one demented pervert operating alone. Though no new U.S. prosecutions are expected after the latest release of government files on Epstein, numerous political and business leaders have fallen into scandal or resigned as their ties to the convicted sex criminal were revealed. The Republican led House Oversight Committee is probing Epstein's connections to powerful figures and how information about his crimes was handled. And they're doing a piss poor job. Not one word about the NPA that tells you all you need to know. Because the NPA is one of the sickest, most degenerate things that the United States government has ever done when it comes to getting into bed with a criminal. And, and that says a lot. I mean, just look at the history of the United States and look at some of the scumbag criminals that the federal government has been willing to get in bed with. And Jeffrey Epstein is right at the top of the list. And the craziest part about that NPA is that Jeffrey Epstein wasn't in compliance with it ever. And that of course renders the NPA as null and void. But that only happens when you're in a country that actually follows the law. That only happens when you have a DOJ that isn't actively covering up the story that we're talking about. Maxwell is expected to invoke her right to not incriminate herself, guaranteed in the fifth amendment of the U. S. Constitution. And look, she has every right not to say anything. And if I'm being real, it's in her best interest not to say a word because Ghislaine Maxwell is as guilty as possible. I have no idea how you could look at the evidence against Glenn Maxwell and not think she's guilty. And I don't even mean in the larger picture. I'm just talking about in general what she did, what we have direct evidence of her doing. Is enough for her to be convicted. She obviously was trafficking girls to Jeffrey Epstein. Now we know that it went deeper than that, but that's the narrow scope that they decided to charge and they most certainly got over the finish line when it comes to providing evidence and testimony. The transcripts are all right there for anybody to read. And if you read those transcripts and come away thinking that Ghislaine Maxwell was innocent, then I don't know what to say to you. Honestly, I really don't know what to say. Like I guess you can have that opinion, but it's wrong and the facts certainly don't back it up. And I know there's people out there that think Lane Maxwell got a raw deal. I don't think she got long enough. I think that Glenn Maxwell was not only involved in the actual abuse, but she was most certainly involved when it comes to funneling money, when it comes to laundering money, when it comes to receiving ill gotten gains from a criminal enterprise, she most certainly was guilty of that. And do you know how many people are sitting in prison right now as we speak for wire fraud, for money laundering? A whole hell of a lot. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for trafficking children and what was ruled a suicide. Maxwell's lawyers have pushed for Congress to grant her legal immunity in order to testify in the deposition. But lawmakers revolution refused. Well, yeah, I would have refused too. She's not going to give up anything of note. Now the only caveat to that is if you send the inspectors over, you know, the House inspectors who are working on the case, and she says she's willing to give you something of consequence, then maybe you think about giving her some kind of immunity. But besides that, why would anyone want to give Glenn Maxwell anything but a hard ass time? Because that's all she deserves. Without that, her legal team said she would invoke her fifth amendment right against self incrimination. Proceeding under these circumstances would serve no other purpose than pure political theater. Her lawyers said in a letter. Well, there's no doubt that there's some element of political theater to the whole entire thing. So yeah, it's going to be some political theater, but really what it is is a waste of time. Right? She's not going to say anything, we're not going to find anything out. And the journey towards accountability is not going to be any shorter because Galain Maxwell gets up there and pleads the fifth. It's like they're just ticking off boxes all in order to placate you. So that you'll move on like they want you to. That's what they hope happens. Look, there is nothing left to get here. There is no investigation left to have our findings back up what the FBI was telling you. Nobody else was involved. That's the kind of bullshit that I expect from Comer and company. They've never cared about this. Unless of course you mean caring as in covering it up and slow walking it and providing more time for a narrative to be built, then yeah, sure they cared. But if you mean about survivors, if you mean about the rest of us who got screwed, nah, they don't care one bit. And I'm pretty sure that those feelings are going to be returned come midterms, though the deposition will occur behind closed doors. Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat, published a letter of the questions he intended to ask Maxwell, even if she refuses to answer. Some touch on Trump's ties to Epstein and Maxwell. Others focus on four co conspirators as well as 25 other men who allegedly sexually abused minors at Epstein's Island. One of the questions asked why do you believe they were not indicted? The Trump administration has already come under criticism for its handling of the case. And you know what's so wild to me? You have people out here talking about how this was all a money grab by Epstein survivors and how they all got super rich, but the truth is they didn't get rich.

And the vast majority of the money that was doled out went to the United States Virgin Islands, not to the survivors. Chew on that for a minute. And when you average it all out, the survivors who receive settlements via the estate and the compensation fund averaged way less than a million dollars each. So what are we even talking about here? People act like these women all got like 20 or 30 million dollars each when that is certainly not the case. Now talking about Virginia, a little different, right? She got that gigantic payday from the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. But you have people like Leon Black who paid the USVI $62.5 million. You have the USVI collecting over, what, $180 million throughout this whole entire sorted ordeal, even though they themselves were accused of enabling Jeffrey Epstein's. So these dirty sons of bitches were eating at both ends of the table. So please, save the nonsense for people that don't know the story. Save the bullshit. And it's funny when you bring that up, they don't ever have an answer for it, right? Oh, well, you know. No, I don't know. Why don't you tell me? The Trump administration has already come under criticism for its handling of her case, as it should. How are you going to move Glenn Maxwell to Club Fed and not give anybody any reason why? It's pretty crazy how they think they can just do whatever they want without any kind of oversight or without anybody saying anything to them. And God forbid you do speak up, you're going to get treated like Marjorie Taylor Greene. You're going to be ostracized, you're going to be threatened, and you're going to be called a traitor. Last year, Maxwell last was moved to a minimum security prison in Texas after meeting twice with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch, who previously served as US President Donald Trump's personal lawyer. No conflict of interest there. Everything is on the up and up, folks. Trump himself was a longtime Epstein associate, but has not been called to testify by the Oversight Committee, which is led by members of his Republican Party. Trump has not been accused of criminal wrongdoing related to Epstein's activities. Yo, the whole entire reason that the Democrats are willing to throw Bill Clinton and Hillary into the chum filled water is because they want to get Trump in the same position and they are willing to sacrifice Bill and Hillary to do it. And in fact, I have an episode talking about that coming up later today because it's a shrewd strategy by the Democrats for sure, and it shows you the shifting lines within the Democratic Party. The old guard is not going to be protected like it used to be. And in order to get Trump in the hot seat, they're willing to jettison Bill and Hillary Clinton. And that is the seismic shift from the usual strategy. And it's certainly interesting to watch it all go down because there was a point in time where the Clintons were untouchable and where nobody in the party would say a word. Let's remember Jeffrey Epstein went to Bill Clinton's White House 17 times, invited 17 times. Now, you would think that that would be something that they would make a stink about, but not really. However, fast forward to today, they're willing to throw Clinton right over the edge if that means getting Trump in the hot seat. And I think that's rather obvious. You don't have to be some kind of political wonk to understand that that's the strategy. Also expected to be deposed by the committee are former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, both Democrats. The Clintons have called for their depositions to be held publicly to prevent Republicans from politicizing their testimony. Yo, I'm all for it. I think all of these should be public, every last one of these depositions. Why are they behind closed doors in the first place? Now I know we get the transcripts. That's cool, that's great. I appreciate it. But why not just have everything done in the open? Why are we playing games? Why give anybody any ground to complain and say that they're not being treated right or that they were done wrongly during the deposition? Make it public, let us all see it and let us all judge for ourselves. Because at this point, I don't think anybody believes anything that the Justice Department is telling us. And even when they do tell us something, I question its validity. Considering how much they've dog walked us, considering how much they've lied, why should we trust them now? And I agree with the Clintons, all of this should be public. Unfortunately, it's not going to be. So we'll have to rely on the transcripts like we have previously. And like usual, once those transcripts are available, we'll get them added to the catalog. All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box. Hey everybody.
