What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. So Ghislaine Maxwell was set to be deposed today, and as expected, she pled the fifth. And like this scafooza she is, she refused to answer any questions. Now of course, she didn't have the same problem when she was yapping with her buddy Todd baby Billy Blanche during her deposition with the doj. And the reason that she was willing to speak to the DOJ and not to Congress is because the DOJ promised her that they'd white glove that interview and that it wasn't going to be a gotcha moment. And that they wanted to give Glenn Maxwell a chance to get her story on the record. As if she hasn't had the ability to do that. As if she didn't have a chance to take the stand at her trial. Oh, that's right. She didn't do that either. Right. I wonder why. Can you imagine being accused of some like this and not bringing your ass to the stand? You would have to gag me, bag me and throw me in the back of a black van to keep me from testifying if I was being falsely accused of some horrendous like this. But these do nots want us to believe that they wanted to give Ghislaine Maxwell a chance to get her story on the record. The whole entire thing's been nothing but a sham since day one. And it continues to be a sham today. And what you're seeing right now in real time is the biggest cover up in American history. Today's article is from the Hill and the headline, Maxwell Pleads the fifth in House Deposition on Epstein files. This article was authored by Rebecca Beisch, Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend and close associate. You mean fellow child abuser, right? You mean bipedal serpent, an all around scuzz bag. That's what you mean. Got it. I'd hate to not label Glenn Maxwell with all of the labels that she deserves. Maxwell refused to answer questions during a deposition with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. On Monday, on asserting her Fifth Amendment right, Maxwell previously indicated her plans to do so, saying she would testify under oath only if she was given criminal immunity. Now, do you think you need immunity if you're innocent? If I was rotting in prison and I was innocent, you better believe I'd be talking all kinds of crazy. And to whoever wanted to talk, whether it was news outlets, whether it was the government, anyone. But when it comes to Ghislaine Maxwell, she only wants to talk if things are tilted in her favor. But unlike the doj, Congress wasn't willing to bend and bow to what Ghislaine Maxwell wanted. Lawmakers exiting the deposition were incensed. She asserted her Fifth Amendment right on every question posed to her argument, arguing the blanket response was appropriate given that they had many questions that did not concern her conduct. She was given an opportunity. We would have brought her in months ago, but she indicated she was going to plead the Fifth. And unfortunately, she had the opportunity today to answer questions that every American has, questions that would be very important in this investigation. And she chose to invoke her Fifth Amendment right. Oversight Committee James Comer said after exiting the deposition, which was conducted virtually as Maxwell serves out her prison term in Texas. Yo, whoever becomes president next, the first order of business should be to rescind whatever order was signed by President Trump and his BOP that afforded Maxwell all of these great privileges and send her ass back to a different facility. She needs to be in a place where traffickers and violent people go. She doesn't need to be at Camp Cupcake. She hasn't earned that. She doesn't deserve that. And there's no way in hell I'm okay with my tax dollars paying for it. And furthermore, you see all these people that are pissed off about the halftime show yesterday, whether it was Bad Bunny or the other one with Kid Rock. And I'm saying to myself, well, maybe if you people were as mad about the halftime show as you are about Glenn Maxwell, we'd get some results here and some movement. But folks can't help themselves. They always have to fall for whatever kind of created crisis or wedge issue is put before them. Especially now that we have the Internet. All people do is fight and argue about the dumbest things. Meanwhile, the people that protected Epstein, the people that promoted Epstein, the people that benefited from Epstein, they're all laughing at you. And they've already moved on to the next plot, the next way to separate you from money and from your dignity. Representative Suhas Submarine said her refusal to cooperate reflected an active bid to Gain clemency from President Trump. Look, there's no doubt that that's an angle. She really wants to get pardoned. And if that means being quiet and not rocking the boat, that's what she's gonna do. Remember, she's looking at a 20 piece, so she's not going anywhere. So in her mind, if she stays quiet till the end of Trump's term, who the knows what she was promised? Do you really trust Todd Blanche not to offer her the world? To remain quiet? And to be clear, I'm not saying that's exactly what happened. I don't know. I have no idea what was offered, what was gained, what was given, and why in the hell the DOJ would even think about getting into bed with Glenn Maxwell. I'd rather spend time in a Taliban prison than believe Glenn Maxwell for one single second about anything. Glenn Maxwell should have no hope of ever getting out of prison. But today she, through her lawyer, explicitly stated that she wants to be out of prison through clemency that this president would grant. And she's campaigning over and over again to get that pardon from President Trump. And this president has not ruled it out. Submarine told reporters on Monday. Well, he hasn't. This guy's not lying about that. It would be easy for Donald Trump just to come out and say, look, that's never gonna happen. I'm not giving her a pardon. What, are you crazy? She hurt children. But according to Donald Trump, all this shit's a hoax. And I think one of the biggest tells is the way that Ghisne Maxwell's being treated. They can give us all the lip service they want. Oh, we care about victims, we care about kids. We care about this one, we care about that one. Meanwhile, the redactions tell us who you really care about. And breaking news. It's not the kids. Representative Andy Biggs mentioned that an attorney for Maxwell, David Oscar Marcus, said in his opening statement that she could provide information that neither Trump nor former President Clinton, who has also been subpoenaed by the committee, were involved in any wrongdoing. Marcus made the same assertion on X after the close of the deposition. Well, she knows that those two didn't do anything. But everybody else, you know, maybe who's buying this? And if you're buying it, you're a moron. I hate to be so direct, but, man, you have to be really stupid to believe anything that Ghislaine Maxwell's saying. Submaranian said mentioning Clinton was an obvious but faulty ploy to get support for a clemency from both parties. Representative Melanie Stansberry criticized Biggs for sharing that information, noting committee rules bar sharing details from a deposition before the transcript has been publicly released. These people don't care. You think anybody in Congress cares about what the rules are? Yo, you guys need to understand these people aren't there as your advocate, as your voice. They're all there, every last one of them, to enrich themselves. And if they can do some good along the way, cool, they'll do it. But that's not the requisite. The whole idea is to make a bunch of dough and then dip. I mean, look at a guy like Jim Boehner. Spent his whole entire life talking, talking about weed, talking shit about drugs, leaves Congress and gets a job working on the board of a marijuana company. I mean, come on now. The faith that people put in these elected officials is bizarre to me. They don't care about you. How much more evidence do you need? It's very clear that she used this opportunity to to not only campaign for clemency as she's been doing, but to also send a direct message that she's hoping that people who were sitting in the deposition will transmit to the President of the United States, which is that her silence can be bought through clemency. Stansberry said, we were told explicitly not to repeat things that were said in that room. It's very clear she's campaigning for clemency and it's very clear that Mr. Biggs is deliver that message to Donald Trump. Well, we can get rid of all of that, make all of these public. I call for full transparency. I don't trust any of these people, not one of them. I don't care what letter is next to your name. I don't care what kind of argument you're having. I don't care what kind of happy face you put on. It's about what you do and it's about how far you're willing to go to hold people accountable.

And if our own Congress members, men, women, everybody in between, can't muster up the courage to do it, then where does that leave us? Well, it leaves us in the place we're at now where we're forcing our elected officials to care about the issue. And that's why it's important to keep the heat on. Make sure they understand that this issue is, isn't going away and it's going to become a very important issue when the election comes rolling in. Representative Robert Garcia said Maxwell's refusal to answer questions also stymied Democrats interest in uncovering more details about why Maxwell was transferred from Florida to a lower security prison after her meeting last year with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Well, here's an idea. Bring Blanche in. I know, I know. Crazy idea, right? You guys have oversight over the doj, or at least you should. So bring em in, sit em down, put em under oath. Let's get this train movin'. After months of defying our subpoena, Ghislaine Maxwell finally appeared before the Oversight Committee and said nothing. She answered no questions and and provided no information about the men who raped and trafficked women and girls, Garcia said in a statement. Who is she protecting? And we need to know why she's been given special treatment at a low security prison by the Trump administration. We're going to end this White House cover up. Boy, I hope so. But do you think I trust Robert Garcia? I don't. Representative Ro Khanna, one of the two main sponsors of the bill that mandated the Justice Department release the Epstein files, said he planned to pose a number of questions that had little to do with Maxwell's own actions. Who are the other co conspirators? Who are the other men who raped these underage girls? Did she have any conversations about a deal with Donald Trump? She's taken a blanket Fifth Amendment on. On any question. And my view is that many of the questions don't in any way incriminate her. Conor said, and look, I like Ro Khanna. I think he's doing the right thing here, but he's still not doing it the right way. And the right way is to bring in the low level operatives that were making the machine run. Sarah Kellen Vickers, Adriana Ross, Leslie Grof, Nadia Marcinkova. Even though I think Nadia is a different story because she was taken as a child, basically, and groomed. So I would be much more willing to see Nadia not get as punished as the rest of the core four. But I think that all of them, Nadia included, have to be brought in and put under oath. If you really want to get down to it. That's how you do it. You bring in all the low level lieutenants and you peel it back and then you have people flip on each other because they don't want to do 150,000 years because they got nailed with RICO. But none of that happened, did it? Why did she plead the Fifth when Blanche asked her questions? And now she's pleading the Fifth about things that don't implicate her, but may implicate many of the other powerful people in Epstein's class that committed these crimes? Well, she likes breathing, for one. Do you guys really think that Epstein killed himself? I mean, come on. With all the evidence that's been presented, the official narrative is the one that sounds most likely. And you're wondering why Ghislaine Maxwell doesn't want to talk, huh? All right. I guess Maxwell did sign a proffer agreement before her meeting with Blanche, placing some limitations on how the Justice Department could use the information that she provided. Maxwell has filed a habeas corpus petition in in seeking a new trial as well as her release. And her attorney previously said she cannot risk further criminal exposure. Trump has not ruled out awarding clemency for Maxwell, saying in October that he would have to take a look at it. Maxwell's attorney on Monday said that only she can provide the complete account, including that both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of wrongdoing. Is Marcus trying to bribe Trump and Clinton to put pressure on people to have her give her deposition so it can exonerate them? What the hell is even going on here? And why does Marcus keep saying that? And if he thinks that the Democrats are going to save Clinton this time, he's wrong. And the reason they're not going to save Clinton is because they want Trump to get up there and get deposed eventually, too. So they're willing to jettison Clinton over the side of the boat. Just like in court, it's all about precedent, and they're trying to set the precedent. She must remain silent because Ms. Maxwell has a habeas corpus petition currently pending that demonstrates that her conviction rests on a fundamentally unfair trial, he wrote in a statement on X. If this committee and the American public truly want to hear the unfiltered truth about what happened, there is a straightforward path. Ms. Maxwell is prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted clemency by President Trump. Oh yeah, the woman who got knelled for perjury twice is going to give us the full and unadulterated truth. Huh? Nothing like Elaine Maxwell as honest as good old George Washington getting up there and telling us the real truth. Because you know she's never had a chance to do so before. Yo, if this wasn't so disgusting, it would be hilarious. But considering it's so sickening, it's anything but. And the only thing that's sicker than this whole entire scenario that's playing out surrounding Glenn Maxwell is Glenn Maxwell herself. Host: Bobby Capucci
Episode: "As Expected Ghislaine Maxwell Pleads The Fifth To All Questions Asked By Congress"
Date: June 29, 2026
In this episode, host Bobby Capucci breaks down the highly anticipated deposition of Ghislaine Maxwell before the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, where, as predicted, she invoked her Fifth Amendment right and refused to answer any questions related to Jeffrey Epstein, herself, and the broader conspiracy of elite abuse. Bobby dissects the congressional fallout, the political maneuvering around clemency, and what her continued silence means for achieving justice for Epstein's victims. The host maintains his characteristically direct, skeptical tone and challenges both legislative and media responses to the ongoing Epstein saga.
