Ever since the US Virgin Islands thought it would be a good idea for them to try to secure a bag, it's been my opinion that the survivors should sue the U.S. virgin Islands the same way that they sued JP Morgan. And now finally that is occurring. And in this episode we have some of the details about that lawsuit. So let's dive into this article from the Rome News Tribune and let's get ourselves caught up. This article was originally posted in the Virgin Island Daily News. The author of this article is Suzanne Carlson. A new lawsuit filed by five survivors of Jeffrey Epstein contains bombshell allegations against the Virgin Islands government and officials like former First Lady Cecile de Jong, who was accused of doing nothing while Epstein raped a woman in the next room. So this is the kind of thing I've been talking about for years. How is it that the US Virgin Islands, who let all of this go down in the first place, is in line to get themselves a bag? How are they getting any kind of financial compensation when they were enabling this behavior from Jump street and finally, the survivors are calling them out for this bullshit. Because let's remember at the end of the day, the survivors are the ones who suffered at the hands of not only Epstein, but also all of his little bitch ass buddies that were in government. And how many times have we went through the evidence and pointed out that the US Virgin Islands is neck deep in all of this and it's audacious for them or anyone else to think that they, meaning the US Virgin Islands, should be in line for any sort of money. It is just one of the most absurd things that I have ever seen or heard in my life. And that's why I was banging the drum for so long about the survivors getting together or one of them and suing the U.S. virgin Islands. And it would seem to me that if I was one of the survivors that my pain and suffering would be worth about 290 million. The survivors lawsuit includes allegations about conduct that occurred between 2001 and 2019, nearly the entire two decades that Epstein lived in the Virgin Islands. Epstein died by suicide, allegedly in a Manhattan jail cell in August of 2019 while awaiting trial on new charges. The lawsuit paints a grim picture of a territory sometimes referred to as America's paradise, where Epstein's victims would be removed from their families, friends and loved ones and be completely isolated. But nobody knew what was going on. None of these politicians that were taking Epstein's money had any idea. Not Stacy Plaskett, not Cecile de Jong, not the local Democratic party, nobody. I mean, it's not like he was a registered sex offender or anything like that, right? So all of these stupid ass excuses that they use, all of these dumbass. Oh, I didn't knows they're lying to you. They knew. They didn't care. According to the 37 page complaint filed Wednesday in U. S District Court for the Southern district of New York, Epstein did not act alone. No, he did not. And the sooner everybody realizes that, the better off we're going to be. And the sooner people stop protecting their faves, the sooner we'll have justice. But unfortunately, the powers that be, and there are propagandists in the news, they'd rather just pitch you a bullshit scenario, a bullshit narrative about how everybody had no idea what Jeffrey Epstein was up to, except for all the workers at the airport, except for everybody else around the politicians, around the power players. So only those people knew what was going on. None of the smartest people in the room had any idea. Okay, I guess. In addition to Mr. Zhang and the VI government, the list of defendants Includes former governors John de Jong Jr. And Kenneth Mapp, former Senators Celestino White Sr. And Carlton Doe, VI delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett, and former VI Attorney General Vincent Frazier. There are also 100 unnamed John Doe defendants, including law enforcement officers who were accused of turning a blind eye to Epstein's crimes. So over a hundred John Does. Can you imagine whose names are named inside of this lawsuit? The class action lawsuit identifies the current plaintiffs as Jane Doe 1 through Jane Doe 5, and the victims are asking the court to proceed anonymously and use pseudonyms. The class consists of dozens of women, and the identities of other class members can be found in records maintained by Epstein's estate. According to the lawsuit. This is some of the greatest news ever. The fact that the US Virgin Islands is actually getting sued now and that they're going to actually have to defend their bullshit is just fantastic. Because, remember, without the US Virgin Islands, without the politicians in the U. S. Virgin Islands, Jeffrey Epstein would have been nowhere near as successful as he was doing what he did. So all of these politicians who are now crying that the US Virgin Islands was victimized, they have a lot of nerve. And the fact that people were down with it, and people were like, yeah, you know what? The US Virgin Islands, they're a victim here. Shows you the people that have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to this case. And my friends, there are many of them when it comes to Epstein and when it comes to Maxwell, the grift is is real. Much of the information in the new lawsuit was taken from depositions of the Virgin Islands government officials during litigation that the V.I. justice Department initiated against JPMorgan Chase. In that complaint, the government said bank officials violated the trafficking victims protection act by failing to report Epstein's suspiciously large cash transactions, which he was using to pay victims and. And others involved in the conspiracy, such as pilots and politicians. So imagine all of this stuff coming out in court documents and nobody getting arrested, no indictments, certainly no convictions. But, yeah, justice is equitable. The federal law allows victims to file suit against any person who knowingly benefits from participating in a venture that they knew or should have known violated the laws against sex trafficking. So that's every single person that was ever with Epstein, every person who's ever partied with them, every person who's ever had a woman, all of it. They're all culpable, and they should all be arrested, and all of them should be thrown in prison or they should be publicly shamed after they're given a suspended sentence. Or whatever the law prescribes for them, because enough is enough. Government officials claim that the lawsuit against J.P. morgan was. Was filed for the benefit of Epstein's survivors. Yeah, okay, sure. What did I tell you then? Epstein survivors aren't going to benefit one bit from that deal. You know how they would have benefited if you would have went after people criminally. But instead, it was a SECO case. And that was all because this whole thing was designed for the US Virgin Islands to profit on both ends. That's what it comes down to. Just like a mob boss, I'm going to profit in the beginning and. And I'll profit at the end. And that's exactly what the US Virgin Islands did. And the saddest part is they reached their hand into the survivor's bag to do it. The defendants actively and knowingly concealed their actions for many years. And it wasn't until the JP Morgan lawsuit that the plaintiffs and public learned of the many acts committed by the defendants, according to the lawsuit. Well, if you've been listening to this podcast, you already know I wasn't buying their from Jump Street. What did I tell you the second that that SECO suit was filed? And here we are. I mean, you don't have to be the Oracle of Delphi to read these tea leaves. This was nothing more than a cash grab from Jump Street. Because if it was something else, then these politicians who were involved, these politicians who gave Jeffrey Epstein aid and comfort and gave him the. Their assistants, every single one of them should be called on the carpet, and every single one of them should have to answer under oath about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. A number of those acts were committed by First Lady De Jong, acting within the actual and apparent scope of her office to further the USVI and Epstein's interests. According to the lawsuit, and that's a fact, 100% that happened. Epstein employed De Jong as his longtime office manager during her deposition in the J.P. morgan case. De Jong claimed to have not known anything about Epstein's crimes. No, I knew nothing at all. Blind, deaf, and certainly dumb. Unfortunately for these bozos, you're nothing of the sort. And all of you out there that have been following along, you. You all know the deal. The emails I get from you tells the story. You all know the deal here. You all know what happened. And you all know that this is nothing more than a straight up disgusting grab for cash. And finally, somebody's gonna step in here once again. It has to be the survivors themselves, unfortunately. But it had to be done. We're just Gonna sit back and let the US Virgin Islands collect all this money. Standing on the shoulders of of these abused girls, how could anyone ever find that to be okay? The new lawsuit says that's not true. Around 2003 or 2004, Epstein brought Jane Doe for to his office in red hook on St. Thomas. According to the lawsuit, inside his office, Epstein raped her over the desk. The brutal assault lasted about 10 minutes, according to the lawsuit. When Epstein was finished, they left through a door where a defendant, Cecile De Jong, was sitting. Given her proximity, De Jong heard the sexual assault, yet she looked at Jane Doe for straight in her eyes from her desk and did nothing at the time or any time afterwards, according to the lawsuit. Given her proximity, it would have been impossible for her not to have heard the sexual assault. And she did nothing with that information at the time. Can you imagine? I mean, I'm not Mr. Tough Guy or anything like that, but if I'm sitting in a room and I hear a violent sexual assault, you're not going to have to worry about the cops showing up to arrest you. It's going to be the ambulance coming, because I'm coming in that room and I'm going to break your fucking face. But what did these cowards do down in the usvi? They didn't do that, did they? In fact, they helped prolong the abuse. In fact, they helped enhance it. With the help of the Virgin Islands government, Epstein built what was by many accounts, the most powerful and wealthy sex trafficking venture ever created, according to the lawsuit, which accuses local leaders of negligence and aiding and abetting Epstein's crimes. According to the victim's lawsuit, the venture had everything a sex trafficking organization needed, including funding and a place to operate openly and without fear of interference or oversight and complicit laws, employees and government. All five victims were solicited by Epstein in New York and transported from New York to the USVI and held captive and abused in the USVI at Epstein's estate, according to the complaint. The lawsuit accuses Virgin island officials of protecting Epstein in exchange for money and favors, and even after he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing underage girls in Florida in 2008. So they don't even have the excuse of saying, I don't know. The guy was already a convicted sex offender. How are you going to try and tell me you don't know? You knew. You didn't care.

Epstein was ordered to register as a sex offender following his release from prison, but the complaint claims Virgin Island's government officials agreed to grant him special treatment so he could continue to travel freely with young women. In exchange for their assistance, Epstein gave payments, advice and other benefits to the highest USVI government officials, according to the lawsuit, which includes several incidents previously detailed in the J.P. morgan case. On one occasion, when the USVI government was desperate for money, USVI officials affirmatively and directly solicited Epstein's assistance. Epstein worked with both the sitting and former USVI governor on a plan to secure cash by extending it a $50 million loan collateralized by USVI Islands, according to the complaint, Ms. De Jong suggested Epstein put Senator Celestino White on a monthly retainer to obtain government loyalty and access and directed payments from Epstein to political candidates, according to the complaint. All of that is true. All of that is true and known, and we have known it for a long time and finally somebody else is talking about it. But what does that say about the legacy media that my dumb ass has been telling you this for how long? And I'm certainly not a journalist, but I've been telling you this for how long? And now finally it takes the survivors themselves to file a lawsuit for people to pay attention. How many times do we have to lap the legacy media you here on the podcast, Epstein Also freely loaned the de Jong family money after Governor De Jong was charged in 2015 with using $500,000 in public money for improvements to his private home. And De Jong resolved the case by paying a $380,000 settlement without admitting wrongdoing by successfully borrowing 215,000 from Epstein to pay the settlement, according to the complaint. Well, isn't that nice? Let me just borrow some money from EPSTEIN, you know, cool, 380 grand. Even though he's a sex offender. But I had no idea who he was. His money was good though, right? That money sure was great when it hit your bank account. Just ask Stacy Plaskett. Plaskett was deposed as part of the government's lawsuit against J.P. morgan and was forced to admit that that she had met privately with Epstein at his home in New York to ask him for money, information she had not previously shared with the public. What else is she hiding? Now you see my big problem with her sitting on the January 6th committee. They couldn't find nobody else to do it. Now look, if you want to have your committee, that's fine, do what you want to do. But why do you have Stacy Plasket sitting on it? And do you really think that nobody's going to call that out? Nobody's going to have a problem with that? And remember, this isn't innuendo about Stacy Plaskett. These are all facts. This is on the record in court documents from her own deposition. So once again I ask, where's the accountability for Stacy Plaskett that was demanded for Alex Acosta before she ran for office? Plaskett served as the attorney for the V.I. economic Development Commission, which while Governor Albert Bryan Jr. Who was EDC chairman at the time, and other members signed off on lucrative tax breaks for Epstein's companies. Bryan is not named as a defendant in the complaint. After Epstein's 2019 arrest, Plaskett publicly defended her decision to take campaign contributions from him, citing her personal litmus test that she said Epstein had passed despite being a registered sex offender. So this lady can't even tell that Epstein is not a good guy to take money from, but you think it's a good idea to have her deciding other Americans fate on that stupid ass committee they had? Here's an idea. When's the Epstein committee being empaneled? And when is Stacy Plaskett being called on the carpet for the part that she played in enabling Jeffrey Epstein's crimes? I'd like to see that committee implementation. Is that ever going to happen? Or are we just going to have a lot more BS talk. Plaskett initially said she would not return the $8,100 she had received from Epstein. But as public pressure mounted, Plaskett reversed course and said instead she would donate an equivalent amount to the Women's Coalition of St. CRO and the Family Resource center on St. Thomas. It wasn't until her deposition in May that Plaskett admitted she had actually accepted a total of $30,000 in campaign contributions from Epstein and his employees. So about that accountability we've been talking about. Any chance anybody's gonna be screaming and shouting about accountability for Stacy Plaskett? I highly doubt it. Plaskett has declined several requests for comment and has not responded to questions from the Daily News about whether she has donated any of the $21,900 she received from Epstein's associates. Plaskett has also not responded to questions about whether her litmus test for receiving campaign contributions is changed and if she would accept campaign contributions from other registered sex offenders. Well, yeah, as long as you weren't at the capitol protest on January 6th. That's her litmus test. You could be a sex offender. But don't go to the Capitol and protest, God forbid. Epstein donated widely to many politician campaigns through his St. Thomas based business, Southern Trust Co. For example, Senator Donna Freft Gregory said in July 2019 that Southern Trust EDC status gave her confidence in accepting the $1,000 contribution because EDC companies go through a very rigorous vetting and investigative process before they are awarded benefits. In reality, the EDC vetting process relies heavily on companies to self report information, and former V.I. attorney General Denise George later sued Epstein's estate claiming that Southern Trust was nothing more than a front for Epstein's sex trafficking operation. That's what it was. One million percent wasn't a real bank. Despite having no discernible legitimate business operations in the territory, Epstein received tax benefits worth over 300 million from the EDC over the course of his lifetime, according to court records. The figure had also been closely guarded government secret until the territory sued J.P. morgan and information about Epstein's tax benefits came out in discovery. The discovery process unearthed a wealth of documents, including emails between Epstein, Ms. De Jong and government officials willing to trade access for favors. For example, Mapp asked Epstein to assist him in developing a way for EDC beneficiaries to avoid paying even more taxes, and one of Epstein's lawyers drafted proposed legislation for the governor, according to the new lawsuit. Are you guys paying attention yet? Y' all focused on what's really going on good. And for those of you who aren't paying attention, it's time to wake the fuck up before you get woke the fuck up. The lawsuit is claiming the VI government and other officials violated the Trafficking Victims Protection act in a variety of ways and failed to protect victims from abuse. Some of the still unidentified defendants are employed by the Virgin Islands government as police officers, but others are federal employees. For example, the lawsuit identifies some defendants as USVI customs agents, but customs agents are not under the control and supervision of the local government. Still, the lawsuit claims that Epstein wielded influence so powerful it extended even to federal employees. For example, he complained to De jong in a 2010 email about a U.S. customs official who caused him difficulty, and De Jong promised that she would ensure this wouldn't happen again by calling the head of customs, according to the lawsuit. As another example, a USVI customs agent and or border control worker was compensated by Epstein under the guise of playing Caribbean drums for him on his island. In addition, law enforcement in the Virgin Islands never investigated Epstein, even after Florida law enforcement faxed Epstein's sexual predator registration information to the USVI Department of justice officials in July 2010, with which they included a news article confirming his status as a sex offender, according to the lawsuit. But nobody knew. They had no idea. Folks remember that story. The complaint includes a section that asks the court to enter judgment in favor of Epstein's victims and against Deutsche Bank. That appears to be a typo and is possibly language borrowed from a similar complaint filed by the victims against the German bank, which took Epstein on as a client after he was dropped by JPMorgan Chase. That lawsuit was recently settled for 75 million, 30% of which will go to pay. Lawyers representing Victims Attorneys representing the victims in this case against the VI government include Jordan Merson, Annette Haspedis, Jordan Rutsky, and Kimberly Kramer. Government House Communications Director Richard Mata Jr. Justice Department spokeswoman Sandra Guminsing and Plasket spokeswoman Tione Scotland have not yet responded to requests for comment from the Daily News. So folks, there you have it. More information about this new lawsuit and I couldn't be happier. I am happy that somebody is going to hold the US Virgin Islands accountable for their bullshit. And I can't even believe that I have to say that. And the best part for me is the fact that all these people were out here talking about the USVI and their big win and now this boomerang comes back and smacks them directly in the face. Like I've said from the beginning, the U.S.V.I. they aren't heroes. They don't care about justice and they certainly don't care about the survivors. So I hope the survivors get every single dollar that the USVI got from Epstein. I hope the survivors sue the USVI for all of that money and then I hope they get it. Alright folks, that's gonna do it for this one. All of the information that goes with this episode to can be found in the description box.

Episode: More Context On The Lawsuit Filed By The Epstein Survivors Against The USVI
Host: Bobby Capucci
Date: June 22, 2026
In this episode, Bobby Capucci dives into the bombshell lawsuit filed by five Jeffrey Epstein survivors against the US Virgin Islands (USVI) government and key officials. Capucci explores the major allegations, the context behind the lawsuit, its significance for victims, and the wider pattern of complicity and corruption that enabled Epstein’s crimes for nearly two decades in the USVI.
The primary focus is the new class action lawsuit brought by five of Epstein's victims, accusing the USVI government—including high-ranking politicians and law enforcement officers—of actively enabling, turning a blind eye to, and profiting from Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. Capucci’s tone is incredulous and outraged at the lack of accountability and the historical attempts by the same USVI officials to seek financial compensation without confronting their own role in the abuse.
On the Audacity of USVI Compensation:
“How are they getting any kind of financial compensation when they were enabling this behavior from Jump street and finally, the survivors are calling them out for this bullshit.” (03:05, Bobby Capucci)
On Political Complicity:
“None of these politicians that were taking Epstein’s money had any idea. Not Stacy Plaskett, not Cecile de Jong, not the local Democratic party, nobody… They knew. They didn’t care.” (04:30, Bobby Capucci)
On the Survivors’ Demand for Justice:
“If I was one of the survivors, my pain and suffering would be worth about 290 million.” (05:10, Bobby Capucci)
On Cecile de Jong’s Alleged Actions:
“Given her proximity, De Jong heard the sexual assault, yet she looked at Jane Doe for straight in her eyes from her desk and did nothing.” (09:00, Bobby Capucci)
On Political Donations:
“Stacy Plaskett… was forced to admit she had met privately with Epstein at his home in New York to ask him for money, information she had not previously shared with the public. What else is she hiding?” (18:20, Bobby Capucci)
Capucci’s commentary is direct, at times profane, and uncompromisingly critical of both the USVI authorities and mainstream media for their complicity or silence. He voices strong support for the survivors’ fight and expresses satisfaction that accountability may finally be served, albeit late.
This episode provides a fiery, detail-driven summation of the new legal action against the USVI. Capucci leaves listeners with the sense that the real fight for justice is only beginning—and that the survivors’ lawsuit may at last force the territory and those in power to reckon with their role.
“I hope the survivors get every single dollar that the USVI got from Epstein. I hope the survivors sue the USVI for all of that money and then I hope they get it.” (25:20)
Further details and sources are available in the episode’s description.
