Members on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are divided over whether President Donald Trump should pardon Jeffrey Epstein's convicted co conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, in exchange for her cooperation in the panel's Epstein investigation. Chair James Comer said in an interview on Wednesday. What an absolute fucking joke. Her help for the panel. What, what is she going to tell them? What exactly is she going to say that that's going to hold up in court? Remember, she can say whatever she wants. It's about actionable evidence that can be used to get convictions. And if that doesn't occur, then she's worthless as a witness. And even if she was to give them that information, like I was saying, she's already cooked as a juror. Would you listen to a word she had to say? I know I wouldn't. Maxwell, who was deposed by the Oversight Committee as the sole convicted accomplice in the Epstein sex trafficking scheme, previously invoked her Fifth Amendment right in declining to answer the panel's questions. Her lawyer has said that she would only speak if granted clemency, a power available solely to Trump, who has not ruled out the prospect of a pardon. Well, even if he does do that. Remember what I talked about early on? Dual sovereignty. And what dual sovereignty is is the state has the ability to to try people for crimes even if they were pardoned on a federal level. So the State of New York could open a case into Glenn Maxwell if she was pardoned and go after her at the state level. Same in New Mexico. The only place where she might be protected is in Florida. And that's because of the ridiculous ass NPA that should have never been given to Jeffrey Epstein. When asked whether he believed it was a favorable deal to issue a pardon in return for Maxwell's testimony, Comer said, a lot of people do. My committee split on that, he added, declining to name who on the panel supported granting a pardon. I don't speak for my committee. Yo, put names to it. Don't be cowards. Put your name to it. Pressure has been mounting on the Justice Department to pursue new prosecutions in the Epstein case, particularly after the United Kingdom arrested Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, and former Ambassador Peter Mandelson for crimes related to their association with the disgraced financier. The Oversight Committee probe's work has been complicated by the fact that Maxwell is unwilling to answer questions and the central figure, Epstein, died behind bars years ago. Bullshit. Stop. Only people who don't know the story talk like this. Glenn Maxwell has nothing left to offer, okay? Besides maybe some dirt on Donald Trump and his buddies, she has nothing left to offer. Let her rot in prison. Maxwell's lawyer, David Oscar Marcus, told Politico in an extended interview last month that he believed there was a good chance his client would ultimately be pardoned by the President. Marcus said he reached out to then Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche last year to help facilitate Maxwell's interview with the Department of Justice. She was granted limited immunity for the two day conversation and and moved to a minimum security prison camp shortly afterward. Cover up. The whole thing's a cover up, and it's all being orchestrated by Donald Trump. So all the people out there that are so gung ho on getting Trump, this is what you should be focused on.
