Boss, what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about? And why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved? For over a decade, we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The Lapsed Fan Podcast Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

What's up everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In the whole entire history of, well, history, we've never seen someone like Lane Maxwell get moved from a place like Tallahassee to a place like Camp Brian. And even though this move was unprecedented, we still have no information from the government, the doj, the Trump administration, anybody about why Ghislaine Maxwell was moved in the first place. And if you think that we're the only ones upset about that, you got another thing coming. Because the inmates at Camp Brian are not too excited that Glenn Maxwell is there, especially considering she's upended the whole entire existence for everybody else. And of course the inmates that are at the camp not happy about any of it. And they don't understand why somebody like Lane Maxwell shows up and starts getting this kind of treatment. And can you blame them? Can you imagine you're sitting in one of these jail cells or at this camp and gain Maxwell is getting all this special extra privilege and you're getting nothing and Remember, the people that are at this camp, they're not violent people, they're not people that have committed heinous crimes against children. These are people that are in there for blue collar crimes, fraud, you know, dui, like that. So it's not like we're dealing with, you know, serious criminals here as far as violence goes. So these people are in there and they're, you know, living their lives and Glenn Maxwell shows up and upends everything. I mean, it's easy to see how that could cause some animosity and some resentment, right? Nobody wants to be treated as, as less than, especially when you're being treated worse than somebody that targeted children. And now, of course, people that spend time with her at this prison, people that are in this prison, they're now speaking out and they're talking about how they were retaliated against if they spoke out against Ghis Maxwell. So today we have an article from the IB Times and the headline, epstein Associate Ghisne Maxwell Exposed by Inmates for Queen Bee Treatment, Private chapel Access, Unlimited toilet paper and armed guards. Well, it's good that she has unlimited toilet paper because all the bullshit that she's involved in, I'm guessing you need a lot of toilet paper to clean that up. And armed guards? What does that even mean? Why is she so important? Why is she being protected and treated better than just about any prisoner in the whole entire federal system? I would think that would be more of a question, but I guess not. Julie Howell found herself moved from the Texas federal camp to a more secure site in August of 2025, a shift that followed her vocal outrage over Ghislaine Maxwell's arrival. Along with several peers, she had been openly critical of the way that the prison appeared to bend the rules for the high society convict. And again, I wouldn't be happy about it. Imagine you're sitting there, you're posted up and you're doing whatever it is you do at one of these camps and then Ghislaine Maxwell comes trotting in and your whole entire life changes. Let's remember, these people might be locked up, but they're human beings, right? And I don't think anybody deserves to have to live with Glenn Maxwell. If anybody should be in the shoe, if anybody should be in solitary confinement or amongst the other perverts, it's Glenn Maxwell. Not eating Chick Fil A. Not having a whole entire different experience from other people. Especially considering what she's in jail for. If she would have went to prison for a wire fraud and then ended up over here, I would have a lot less to say because I'm not somebody that thinks that the justice system and the prison system is working in a way that is conducive to our society. So I'm not going to sit here and make pretend that, you know, things are great. They're not. There's a lot of issues that need to be dealt with. But when it comes to situations like this, somebody like Maxwell being treated like a first class citizen when in fact she is nothing close to that, there's a big problem. And you notice this kind of thing doesn't happen for people that are normal people. You don't see a regular person charged with the crimes Glenn Maxwell was charged with and convicted of getting this kind of treatment, do you? So why should Glenn Maxwell? Last year Daily Telegraph highlighted a prisoner at Bryan who said she was disgusted by Maxwell's transfer there, a sentiment shared via the woman's husband. In the wake of the public remark, prison staff pulled Julie Howell out of a puppy training class and moved her away from the camp, her solicitor noted. That's lawyer in English speak, by the way. Solicitor. According to her legal representative in the Bureau of Prisons files, Howell was then sent to a federal detention center located in Houston. Imagine moving somebody else and not Maxwell. Somebody speaks out about the treatment Maxwell's getting and they're punished. Meanwhile, Maxwell's playing with puppies and eating Chick Fil a. Nobody's going to say anything about Ghislaine Maxwell now. Are you kidding? Patrick McClain, the solicitor representing Howell, told CNN in August of 2025. His remarks followed the sudden removal of his client from the facility after she spoke out. Maybe I should try and get one of these folks on the show. Maybe that would be a worthwhile experience. I'm not big on the whole interview thing because that's just overdone when it comes to podcasts. But I think that hearing from somebody directly would certainly be good. So maybe we'll try and make that happen. And if not her, maybe a different inmate that spent some time with Ghislaine Maxwell. I mean, I think that would be an interesting conversation hearing about, you know, how things change drastically in the wake of Glenn Maxwell showing up and how she upended the whole entire situation and how it affected other people. But I guess that doesn't matter, right? As long as Glenn Maxwell is living the high life. Every inmate I've heard from is upset she's here. The facility is supposed to house non violent offenders. Human trafficking is a violent crime. She helped find groom and traffic children for Epstein, Howell wrote to the reporter in an email later shared with cnn. And she also helped abuse them. And that's really the most unforgivable act, right? All of it is just beyond the pill, sending her straight to hell if there is one. But the actual abuse of children, there's no coming back from that. And look, I'm not the kind of person that just wants to punish people indefinitely. If you commit a crime and then you serve your time for the vast majority of crimes, I'm willing to forgive. Right? Let's be real. That's how our society works. You get punished, you get out of prison. And if you change your life and you become a good human being and live a life on the straight and narrow, then I don't think that you should be penalized for your past. But in my opinion, there are certain crimes that there's no coming back from, and that includes any crime against children. In the message which her husband sent to the press, she explained that many women feared for their own safety due to rumored threats against Maxwell's life. Oh, give me a break. Nobody's threatening Elaine Maxwell. Stop it. All part of the COVID up, all part of the story. And the sad part is how many people suck it up. How many people actually believe the narrative that's being pitched by the federal government. Howell noted that the entire unit faced lockdowns and closed blinds to accommodate the high profile convict, lamenting, she's causing us to lose a little freedom that we have in here. All because she's cooperating with authorities. Only a few days after this correspondence, Howell found herself facing disciplinary action. Of course. Gotta protect their buddy Glenn Maxwell. Todd Blanche's good friend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Right. We got to make sure that whatever commentary she's gonna pitch is helpful to the President because that's all that matters. Not justice, not the survivors, not you or me. But making sure that the administration and Donald Trump is fully protected, that's what Todd Blanche's goal and his role is. And I think the clearest evidence that we have that there's a cover up and there's something going on is that Gian Maxwell was moved to this facility. There is no reason under the sun why Ghis Maxwell should have been moved to a place like this. She just finished a session with the puppy training program, a project meant to help those inside prepare for life on the outside when a guard suddenly marched her off to the lieutenant's office. Once there, she was pointedly asked if she knew Cameron Henderson. This was the very journalist Howell had reached out to with her frustrations just days before the confrontation. In her first interview after finishing her sentence, Howell, who is now out on supervised release, told CNN about the moment the officer confronted her. She remembered him saying, it's all over the World Wide Web. He just kept saying, this is above me. Of course it is. It's coming from up top, right, from BOP Brass, DOJ Brass and the administration itself. After Howl sat in the cell for an hour, the Brian camp warden Tanisha hall arrived to confront her. She came in and asked what I was thinking, said that her phone was blowing up all weekend. I ruined her weekend. I shouldn't have talked to them, howell recalled. The inmate offered an apology and explaining that her visceral reaction to Maxwell stemmed from her own daughter being a victim of sex trafficking. Maxwell was convicted of orchestrating a long term scheme with Epstein to groom and abuse underage girls, though she has consistently denied the charges. Why throw that in there? She's convicted. Who gives a what? She denies. Every single prison all across America is filled with people that deny that they're guilty. Hall rolled her eyes and flipped her hair back and she was like, it's too late for apologies and walked out. Howell remembered that same day she was moved to a Houston federal detention center, a facility where men and women of different security classifications are held. All because Ghislaine Maxwell. All because a child molester named Glenn Maxwell is still finding a way to manipulate things from a jail cell. Please tell me how this is not a cover up. With the public dissecting every detail of the Epstein saga, Maxwell's time behind bars has become a lightning rod for controversy. Prison consultants noted that her move from a low security site in Florida to the Bryan camp last summer was highly irregular, as sex offenders rarely qualify for minimum security facilities. The shift fueled theories that the government granted Maxwell special treatment to secure silence regarding Donald Trump's former ties to Epstein. Maxwell stirred further controversy during a July 2025 interview with then Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche by praising Trump and claiming she never saw him act inappropriately. She since then publicly hinted that if granted clemency, she would clear his name of any Epstein related wrongdoing. As if she's the arbiter of truth and Glenn Maxwell is the be all end all about Jeffrey Epstein. Do people even hear themselves talk when they say that? Kind of because it's ridiculous at best.

A VP spokesperson told CNN the they don't discuss specific inmates but are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, impartiality and professionalism. They stated the staff are barred from providing preferential treatment to any inmate and cited a BOP memo noting that media communication requires prior approval per bureau policy. So that means inmates can't talk to anybody. They have to ask the bureau. That doesn't sound right. A Bureau of prisons report from August 7th officially cited Howell for disruptive conduct and unauthorized media contact, claiming her leaks exposed sensitive information regarding the camp security and high profile residents. After three months in a Houston detention center, Howell transitioned to a halfway house and upon her recent release told CNN she wasn't the only one targeted. Other inmates were similarly uprooted by for criticizing Maxwell's presence. So if Glenn Maxwell isn't part of this gigantic cover up, then why are they going so crazy and going to these lengths to make her happy? Can anyone out there explain that to me? Because up until now, nobody has any good reason as to why Glenn Maxwell got this transfer in the first place. One woman, still in BOP custody and speaking anonymously to avoid further punishment, recalled how Hull instantly crushed any descent. She described the warden screaming at an inmate who dared call Maxwell a pedophile. Don't ever make that comment. I never want to hear you say that again. Are you guys paying attention yet? Glenn Maxwell, who molested a child, can't be called a pedophile in a prison. But don't worry, guys. Have you checked the Dow lately? Inmates quickly noted that Maxwell's unusual treatment, reporting that meals and water were delivered directly to her while armed guards provided escorts. She also enjoyed private access to the chapel for visitations, atypical privileges for a prison camp. CNN previously highlighted similar perks, noting Maxwell even had unlimited access to toilet paper. The anonymous inmate told CNN she spoke to a reporter in September, carefully avoiding criticism of Maxwell following Howell's transfer. Instead, she shared observations of Maxwell assisting others and the presence of the U. S. Marshals. Within an hour, she was summoned to the lieutenant's office. En route, the warden confronted her. I was diverted to listen to the warden scream at me. She basically berated me and told me that I was jeopardizing the safety of her staff and interfering with, with an FBI investigation, reprimanded for an unauthorized contact, she was sent to Houston. Her subsequent administrative appeals have been denied. So how is that acceptable? And how is this warden not under more pressure? And what makes Glenn Maxwell special and these other inmates not? Well, we know the answer to that. Those other inmates, they don't know Donald Trump. Those other inmates, they didn't spend a bunch of time with Jeffrey Epstein. Those other inmates can't provide some half cocked cover story for Donald Trump. And that's why Glenn Maxwell's getting the treatment she's getting. So what do you folks think? Do you think that Glenn Maxwell is getting this treatment because there's some sort of threat to her safety? Or do you think she's getting this treatment because she's playing ball with the COVID up? The Epstein Chronicles
Host: Bobby Capucci
Episode: Did Federal Prison Officials Retaliate Against an Inmate Over Maxwell Complaints?
Date: May 8, 2026
In this episode, Bobby Capucci analyzes explosive allegations that federal prison officials may have retaliated against one or more inmates at the Bryan Federal Prison Camp for speaking out against special treatment given to Ghislaine Maxwell—a convicted Epstein associate. The episode is driven by recent reporting on complaints and disciplinary actions, raising pressing questions about unequal treatment, institutional cover-ups, and implications for justice in high-profile cases.
Bobby Capucci pulls no punches, blending news analysis and commentary with a brash, direct style. He frequently criticizes the justice system, highlighting hypocrisy, institutional failings, and political influence, while expressing deep outrage at special treatment for Maxwell, whom he bluntly brands as a child abuser and symbol of elite impunity.
Capucci ends with an open question to listeners, asking for their opinions on whether Maxwell’s treatment is a product of necessary inmate safety measures or a symptom of cover-up and political favoritism. His hostility toward the authorities’ official explanations is palpable throughout. For those seeking an unvarnished critique of the institutional response to the Epstein-Maxwell scandal, this episode offers detailed reporting and passionate argument.
