What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up where we left off with Doug Band and his interview with Congress. Question I'll admit to you that there is an email between you and Ms. Maxwell. Ms. Maxwell is speaking to you about sending, quote, devil slippers. President Clinton, were you aware of her ever sending any gift at that time to President Clinton? Answer no, I don't recall that ever happening again. It's possible people can do things that have nothing to do with me, but I don't recall that ever happening. Question Mr. Band, it was on the Moroccan trip with Epstein. There is a famous photo of President Clinton in a swimming pool. Do you recall this at all? On this trip, President Clinton said, sitting in a hot tub with a woman whose face is redacted. Answer I do not recall that at all. I saw the photo when it was released publicly earlier this year, the first time. Question did you know who any of the woman or women were in any of the photographs? Were the women traveling on that trip? Answer I have no idea. I don't know. Mr. Harness. Harness. You don't know if there was any other women outside of those listed on the flight log that were also on the Moroccan trip or in the pool or the hot tub? I don't recall that trip. Really? Other than you're asking about the wedding, which I recall a little bit vaguely, but no, I don't have any idea. Mr. Grant. And just so the record's clear. You don't recall the photograph being taken at the time, Mr. Band? No, sir. I wasn't there. I have no idea. The first time I saw it was probably when you did. Mr. Harnice, outside of the flight logs, are there any other flights on any other private aircraft that you took with Mr. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell? No, not that I recall. Mr. Harnice, we'll go off the record. All right. We'll go back on asking the questions now. Mr. Band, I just have a few remaining questions for you. During the time that you knew Mr. Epstein, what was your understanding of his relationship with Donald Trump? Now, President Trump answer again. I had very limited interaction with them and I didn't really know him. I don't know of any interaction or relationship with President trump. Question. Did Mr. Epstein ever discuss Donald Trump with you? No, not that I can recall. Did Ms. Maxwell ever discuss Donald Trump with you? No, not that I recall. Did you ever discuss a relationship of Jeffrey Epstein and President Trump with President Clinton? No, not that I recall. Now, it's our understanding that President Clinton once spoke to President Trump about Jeffrey Epstein during a charity golf tournament at a golf course in New York. The tournament benefited a foundation that Joe Torre was affiliated with. We don't have the exact date of this golf outing, but President Clinton explained that it may have occurred in 2002 or 2003. It's possible it occurred later than that. Do you have any knowledge of this conversation? No, I do not. Did President Clinton ever speak to you about Donald Trump generally? Question. Generally, I don't recall anything specific. I recall the president, way before he was president, asking President Clinton to join his Trump Westchester Golf Club. And I recall him, President Trump, about attending. There was some talk about him attending Chelsea's wedding. And I said, that's up to. It's all Chelsea over to Chelsea kind of thing. That's all I recall. But they weren't really real conversations or anything serious. Question. When he was in front of the committee earlier this year, President Clinton mentioned that President Trump may have told him that he and Epstein, quote, had some great times together. Do you have any idea of what President Trump may have meant by that? I don't know anything about that conversation or anything. I don't know. Question. And you touched on this a bit earlier. Have you ever met President Trump? You know, I've shaken his hand briefly at some sort of golf course, at the golf course type thing, but no, I don't really know him. Question. Which golf course was that? Trump Westchester. The one I was referring to earlier question and was President Clinton present for that? I recall him being there, yes. And do you recall approximately when this occurred? Early 2000s, I believe. But again, I really don't know or remember right now. Mr. Harness, you stated yes to the original question saying, have you ever communicated with any of the following? You said yes to President Clinton. Can you expand upon that? Communication with President Clinton? Banned. I don't remember any specific conversation. I was just trying to be responsive. I mean, given they were traveling and stuff and just giving him documents or telling him whose plane we were on or telling him that he was doing. We certainly had communications about it, but I believe we did. I don't remember anything specific. Mr. Emmer, during the previous hour, you mentioned having conversations with with Cheryl Mills. Is that right? Answer yes. Question. And that was related to this committee's investigation, is that correct? Answer Again, Cheryl and I are old close friends. I talk to her regularly about a lot of things. After I was asked to come provide a voluntary interview, I spoke with her about that and about who to use as counsel, that sort of thing. Question but prior to the committee's letter, did you have any discussion with Cheryl Mills as it relates to Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell? Answer none that I recall. Question did you and I believe you were asked this in a previous hour, but for the record, did you discuss this transcribed interview with anyone besides your counsel? Answer Again, I'm just trying to be careful in answering that question. I talked to friends, some friends of mine who asked me questions about it. I tried not to talk about it or have any discussions, but for a few folks here and there, we were just talking about the appearance, but nothing substantive or anything like that. Question you answered it's possible that you had a conversation with Lynn Forrester Dorothchild, is that right? Answer well, I don't recall any or remember having any conversations with her. And I wasn't particularly close to her, but I just given her proximity to London and her friendship with them and the Clintons, it's possible. Question did you understand Ms. Rothschild to have a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell? I did not know whether she did or didn't. I just know she was friends with the President and Secretary Clinton. You also said that it was possible that you may have had a conversation with Ira Magaziner. Do you understand him to have a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell? Answer again, it's just the same Answer as Tasha. He worked, he ran several initiatives for president. They were old friends, I don't know, college, law school. And and so I'm just making sure that I'm being responsive to the question and saying it's possible. I don't recall anything, but it's certainly possible. And also, and I'm sorry to interrupt, but in preparation for today and just seeing emails, I know there were things sent back and forth between him and them, so it's certainly possible. Finally, same question as it relates to John Podesta. Did you have any understanding of him having a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell? Answer no, I didn't. Again, John's a mentor and a longtime friend, former law school professor, boss, colleague, friend at my wedding, those kinds of things. And so I just saying that it's possible I don't recall anything. Question Is it possible that he would have been, he would have expressed concerns about the former president having any sort of relationship with Epstein and Maxwell? I don't recall him having any of those concerns or conversations at all. Question Grant and one more. You also said you couldn't recall but it was possible to Casey Wasserman Is it possible that Mr. Wasserman had a connection or relationship to Epstein or Maxwell? No. Again, I don't remember anything specific or recall conversations. You know, he traveled. I remember him traveling at some point again in preparation for today, sort of reviewing stuff and seeing that he was on one or two of the humanitarian trips. He was also a very significant supporter of President Clinton's work. So I was just saying that it's possible. Mr. Harness, question. Outside of the list of people that we've already named and asked if you had any conversations or communications with about Mr. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell, is there anyone else that we did not list you had a conversation with about Ms. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell? Answer no, not that I recall. Do you have any non disclosure agreements? Answer no. Question so you don't have any NDAs with any women? Answer no sir. Do you have any men that have NDAs with women? No, I don't have any first hand knowledge or anything other than again, reading about some of the stuff. Question but you don't have any knowledge of any person having an NDA with a woman or young female that has a connection with Mr. Epstein or Ms. Maxwell? Answer no.
