What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday, Doug Band had his time before Congress where he was talking about what he knew about Jeffrey Epstein. And according to sources that were in that meeting, Doug Band came down with a case of amnesia. And I know that's gonna shock you, right? Considering that so many people that have been in Epstein's orbit have been afflicted by the same malady. I'm not shocked to hear that Doug Band just couldn't remember his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. And also, shockingly enough, he walked back his claim that Bill Clinton went to the island. Now, I don't buy that for a second, considering what Virginia has said and what Mr. Scully said. I'm gonna go with what they had to say about Bill Clinton on the island. But remember, that doesn't mean that Bill Clinton was abusing people on the island. I think there's a misnomer where people think that if you went to the island, you were engaging in abuse. That's not how it worked. Not everybody who went there was engaging in that. So I'm certainly not saying that Bill Clinton was part of the abuse machine. But I'm gonna have to go with what my friend Virginia told me, and she said that Bill Clinton was on this island. So let's dive into this article from ABC News, and let's see what they had to say about Doug Band and his conversation voluntarily with Congress. And the headline, doug Band, former aide to Bill Clinton, repeatedly tells panel he can't recall interactions with Epstein. Well, that's convenient, huh? Who would have thought? That's the defense strategy of everybody who's involved, and Congress just lets them get away with it. This article was authored by John Parkinson, Lauren Peller, and James Hill. Doug Band, the former close advisor to President Bill Clinton, repeatedly told lawmakers that he could not recall his involvement on several topics related to to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, multiple sources said following Band's appearance on Tuesday before the House Oversight Committee. Such a joke. What an absolute waste of time. And that's why I'm going through all the transcripts with you, so you can get a full view of what these people say and how ludicrous it all is. Because without the transcripts, obviously, they could pitch us whatever they. They wanted to. The one thing that they hate the most is losing control of the narrative. Band, who began his tenure with Clinton as an intern in the mid-90s, was questioned for four hours by the panel as part of its ongoing probe of the government's handling of the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein. Multiple sources familiar with his testimony said Band had no evidence or information that President Clinton ever went to Epstein's Island, Little St. James in the U.S. virgin Islands. Despite telling Vanity Fair on the record in 2020 that Clinton had visited the island, Band told the committee that he didn't remember why he had made that claim to Vanity Fair. So, just another guy that's a liar. Let's just come out and say it. Doug Band, not exactly a reliable narrator. This dude's out here saying whatever he wants because. Because he knows there's no consequences. Oh, yeah, Bill Clinton never went to the island. Bill Clinton never met him. I've never even talked to Bill Clinton. That's the kind of ludicrous bullshit that I would expect Doug Band to say. Often described as the architect of Clinton's post presidential endeavors, including the Clinton foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative, Band was pressed about his own communications with Epstein's convicted co conspirator, Clayne Maxwell, which were made public earlier this year by the Justice Department as part of the release of files mandated by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. And all these people that were friendly with Maxwell who act like it was no big deal, you're wrong. We're talking about a convicted sex trafficker. We're talking about somebody that was targeting the most vulnerable girls in society. So when they try and fall back on the excuse, oh, well, I was a friend of Maxwell's. Not exactly the optics you're looking for. I mean, how many times have survivors told us that Maxwell was just as bad, if not worse than Jeffrey Epstein? Emails between Band and Maxwell included talk of meetings with Epstein and numerous exchanges containing suggestive innuendo and cheeky nicknames for each other, like Babycakes and Boo Boo, According to the files released by the doj. Yo, you ever call anyone babycakes in an email? How about Boo Boo? And then Doug Band goes on to say that he had no intimate relations with Glenn Maxwell. I don't believe that. You know why? Because Glenn Maxwell is a scafooza. She was having relations with everybody. Remember the story about George Clooney, went to the bathroom with George, gave him a little dome piece, and then bounced back to the table? Oh, I remember that story. So if anybody is a prostitute, if anybody's a. I think it would be Galan Maxwell. The bulk of the messages were exchanged between 2001 and 2004, before Epstein first faced criminal charges in Florida in 2006. Yeah, nobody knew. Come on. Everybody had their eyes wide shut. That was the problem. Band According to sources, told committee members that he didn't recall sending individual emails to Maxwell. But he confirmed that an email address associated with Clinton that was found in the Epstein files was Band's and that no one else had access to it. Oh, yeah, so it wasn't you, right? It was the dog. Your dog ate your homework. And then he sent emails to Glenn Maxwell. Band stated that he took steps to insulate Clinton from Maxwell as Band became aware of allegations, according to the sources. Don't you love how all these people try to set themselves up as heroes? Well, I stepped in because I knew that there were allegations. So Doug Band knew, but not Bill Clinton. Is that what you really want me to believe? Because I'll tell you right now, I don't believe that because it's unbelievable. Band stated that he never had sexual contact of any kind with Maxwell and didn't recall ever being introduced to any woman or girl associated with Maxwell, Sources said. Well, I don't know. I don't have any evidence one way or the other. But is it out of the realm of possibility? No, considering who we're talking about and considering the way she was moving. Band also said he didn't recall ever engaging with Epstein on any of the flights he took with Clinton on Epstein's private jet and didn't recall having conversations with Epstein, said sources. Like, who believes that you're on this dude's private jet? You didn't have a conversation. You didn't go up to him and say, hey, look, I'm Doug Band. I'm Bill Clinton's, you know, go to guy. If you want to talk to Bill Clinton, you got to go through me. None of that happened. Huh? Okay, I guess we know that Mr. Band set up several meetings between Clinton and Epstein. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told reporters prior to Band's appearance. We know Mr. Band accompanied Mr. Clinton on several flights on Epstein's jet. We know that Mr. Band also had a lot of communication with Ms. Maxwell. So that'll be a topic of several questions, and it should have been. But look, Doug Band, very small player in all of this. He was never going to have the keys to the kingdom. He wasn't going to provide information that was going to be groundbreaking or shocking. But what he does is adds a little clarity, right? And it gets him on the record. So I guess, if anything, at least we have that ban 54 has not been accused of any wrongdoing. His appearance before the Oversight Committee was voluntary and was not recorded. The committee has typically released transcripts of Interviews after they're reviewed for accuracy and redacted to remove any potential references to alleged victims. So it's usually been a few days to a few weeks, so we'll see how quickly this Band one comes out. And now that we're done with Bill Gates, we're going to be diving into Leslie Grof. So we'll get to Band after that. Earlier this year, Band told the New York Times that his message with Maxwell occurred when he was in his 20s and unmarried, and he denied any romantic involvement with with Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20 year sentence for sex trafficking and other offenses. Well, how do you prove it? I don't think that Glenn Maxwell is going to spill the beans and say, yeah, you know, I was getting cracked by Doug Band, bro. Had me in the Monica Lewinsky dress and had me hollering, highly doubt that's gonna happen. There was absolutely no physical relationship that occurred between us ever, band said in a statement to the Times, in which he referred to Maxwell as a monster. Records created by Epstein's pilots, made public through civil litigation, show Clinton and an entourage that typically included Band aboard Epstein's plane on more than two dozen flight legs in 2002 and 2003. But none of those flights went to the island, according to the pilot's logs. Clinton, Epstein and Maxwell have all denied that the former president had had ever been to little St. James. And again, I believe Virginia people can believe whatever they want, right? We don't have hard proof one way or the other. So it comes down to who you find more believable. He never, absolutely never went. And I can be sure of that because there's no way he would have gone. Maxwell told then Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch in a recorded interview last summer. But how would she know? I thought Maxwell wasn't around Epstein anymore. What happened to that? Remember she said, well, I took a step back. I was dating Ted Waite, so it can't be both things. She can't know everything and not know nothing. I've never been to that island, Clinton said in his own interview with the Oversight Committee in February. The former president has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection to his association with Epstein. He has said he stopped interacting with Epstein before, before any criminal allegations surfaced and denied knowledge of any of Epstein's crimes. Why did he have a picture of you in a blue dress? That's one for the ages. Imagine being somebody like Bill Clinton and knowing that picture exists. That painting. It would be a Tony Soprano moment for me. Remember how pissed Off Tony gets when Paulie takes the picture out of the dumpster and has it touched up and then Tony goes to his house and sees it. That would be me. I would have ripped that shit off the wall and punched Epstein directly in his face. Clinton told the committee that he and Band were once close and that Band had been one of the people he tasked to operationalize plans to develop the Clinton Global Initiative in his early post presidency years. He worked for me for years, Clinton said. He arranged airplane flights and things like that and was doing work on the first Clinton Global Initiative in 2005. And I know that he, both Epstein and he knew Maxwell. I don't know to what extent he was in contact with him. In her interview with Blanche, Maxwell said she began spending time with Clinton after he left the White House in 2001 as he was forging his post presidential path through the establishment of the Clinton foundation and the and later the Clinton Global Initiative, which is a lie. They were at the White House 17 times. So let's not act like Lane Maxwell and Bill Clinton didn't know each other. They most certainly did. I was part of the beginning process of the Clinton Global Initiative, and that was something that I help with and that was me and Epstein may have helped me help them, she said, according to the transcript of July 2025 interview. I started spending time with the former president and with Doug and his team, Maxwell said. I had no purpose really, other than obviously offered something, I don't know, ideas. In recent weeks, the committee has heard from Microsoft co founder Bill Gates and two of Epstein's former assistants, Sarah Kellen and Leslie Groff. Later this summer, interviews are scheduled with former Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemler, former Epstein attorney Alan Dershowitz, and Epstein's former private banker at JPMorgan Chase, Jess Daley. Huh? No. Philippe. Huh? Okay, I guess the guy that signed the npa. We don't need to talk to him, huh? No. Marie Vilafana. That's interesting. What about Barry Krisher? Notice they want nothing to do with the npa. Ask yourself why. Comer has indicated that a report on the investigation's findings will be issued by by the end of the year. And I bet you that shit's gonna read like a comedy. Considering Comer has no stones and considering he has no teeth, does anyone really think that the end report's gonna be scathing? I doubt it. Maybe for some of the administration's enemies, but not overall. Now look, I hope to come back after the report's released and have a different tune to sing, but as of right now, I'll remain skeptical. So we'll see where it all goes. And once we get that transcript, we'll get to see what Doug Band actually said. So until then, that's gonna do it for this one.
