What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. As the Senate Oversight Committee continues their investigation, the they've now turned their sights to Doug Band. And Doug Band is somebody that was considered probably the biggest insider during the glory days of the Clintons. And he was directly involved when the Clintons were close with Epstein and Maxwell. And Doug Band has come out and said already that Bill Clinton was on the island. So Bill Clinton says he was never on the island. Doug Band says he was. I wonder if Doug Band's gonna say that under oath. And if he does, I wonder if that's going to cause a problem for Bill Clinton considering that Billy boy told us he was never on that island, but we already know that Virginia said he was and so did Mr. Scully. So that's three witnesses now saying that he was on the island. Now, does that make him guilty of any kind of abuse or anything like that? No, but it does prove that he's a liar. And I think that Doug Band is going to be happy to throw him under the bus because remember, they had that big falling out where Doug Band came out and attacked Chelsea Clinton and her lifestyle and the way she conducts herself and also attacked his former boss and buddy Bill Clinton. So now Congress is going to speak to him and try and find out what he knows, if anything, about Bill Clinton's time with Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell. So today we have an article from Fox News and the headline, clinton confidant who called Maxwell his lover Grilled by Congress over Epstein ties. This article was authored by Adam Pack, former Clinton. A Doug Band is set to face a grilling by congressional investigators after his name was referenced dozens of times in the Epstein files. And look, he's come out and said already that Bill Clinton is lying. Now I wonder if he's gonna have the Stones to do the same thing and say the same thing under oath. Van will testify voluntarily. Another voluntary fucking testimony, because that's worked out so well before the House committee on Tuesday in a transcribed interview as part of the bipartisans panel probe into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Glenn Maxwell, who's serving a 20 year sentence after being convicted on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. Well, if you want to call it that. Playing with dogs, eating Chick fil a, doing whatever she wants. I guess that's a 20 year bid. Certainly not the same kind of 20 year bid you'd be facing or your friends would be facing. But if you're G.L. maxwell and you diddled little kids, you know, the sky's the limit, I guess. House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer invited Band to testify about his interactions with Epstein and Maxwell while serving as a top aide to Clinton during the early years of his post presidency. And he was considered the key to the kingdom. If you wanted to get close to Clinton, you had to go through Doug Band. He was basically Bill Clinton's body slave. Right? You know, the guy that would attend Bill Clinton all day, every day, like in the old days, had, like a Roman emperor. And you had somebody that took care of, you know, cleaning him up, washing his face, whatever. It might be. Basically Doug Band's job. Whatever Bill Clinton needed, whatever Bill Clinton wanted, it was Doug Band's job to make that happen. And of course, that brought him into communication and friendship with Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. Band attended a 2003 dinner at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse and corresponded with Maxwell between 2002 and 2006, according to files released by the Justice Department. And Doug Band did say that he was friendly with them as far as Maxwell and Epstein go. But I've never really heard that they had some kind of romantic entanglement. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme, but it does prove that Ghislaine Maxwell was a scafuza. How many people have we talked about in this story that she's hooked up with? I mean, this lady seen more wiener than a pair of hanes. In a 2006 email, Band, who is a University of Florida alumnus, asked to use Maxwell's plane to attend the NCAA men's basketball final to watch the Florida Gators play. In other correspondence published by the doj, he called Maxwell his lover and social matchmaker, among other flirtatious messages. Oh, isn't that cute? Doug Band and his good old girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. The pair were photographed together at a Valentine's Day tea party at a members only club in New York City in 2007. That tracks. That's exactly when Ghislaine Maxwell and the Clintons were real close. And it's wild to me that there's people out there that actually think that the Clintons coming to testify put it all to bed. Do you really think they were telling the truth? Because they weren't. They lied just like every other person who's been called to testify. And provable lies. We're talking the kind of lies that should be called out by the committee. But of course, they have no desire in doing that. Band has not been charged with any wrongdoing, and his interactions with the couple appeared to largely predate Epstein's conviction of soliciting a minor in 2008. Yeah, because, you know, that wasn't happening until then. Nobody had any idea what was happening, right? Well, that's what they'll all tell you, whether you believe them or not. Well, that's a completely different story. The ex Clinton adviser is likely to be peppered with questions about about the former president's ties to the disgraced financier. Band, who initially served as Clinton's personal aid and ultimately became a member of his inner circle, helped establish the Clinton foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative during Clinton's post presidency. He later cut ties with the Clintons during a public falling out in the early 2010s. And remember, Jeffrey Epstein provided Agrippa seed money for the Clinton Initiative. And that was confirmed by Gerald Lefcourt, one of the lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein. So that's not just scuttlebutt, that's not a rumor that happened. In a 2020 Tell all interview with Vanity Fair, Band said that he grew to dislike Epstein during a 2002 trip aboard Epstein's private jet with Clinton to Africa and advised the former president and his relationship with him. Also in the interview, Band said that Clinton in 2003 traveled to Epstein's private Caribbean island, Little St. James. Band said he declined to attend over his objections to Epstein. Band's account conflicts with Clinton's repeated assertion that he never visited the island. Clinton, who has denied any wrongdoing, has pointed to travel logs that do not show such a trip. The travel logs could be manipulated. We all know that those travel logs weren't canon. They're not biblical. They can be changed, and they were. And sometimes the logs weren't even filled out. So we have Doug band, we have Mr. Scully, and we have Virginia Roberts telling us that Bill Clinton was on that island. So who do you believe? Do you believe the three witnesses, or do you believe Bill Clinton? Band told Vanity fair, he sought to bar Maxwell from Clinton. Related Events Amid his broader rupture with the Clinton family, Maxwell was notably close to Chelsea Clinton and was invited to her wedding in 2010. Still unexplained it was just, you know, a big goof up. We have no reason why Ghislaine Maxwell was there in a place of prominence. We don't recall she was there in a place of prominence because she was very close to you. That's why she was there. And now you're trying to gaslight everybody and act like it never happened, like you guys weren't close, like there was never a relationship whatsoever. The House oversight interview will take place behind closed doors, but a transcript is expected to be published at a later date. Tuesday's testimony comes after Bill and Hillary Clinton testified to congressional investigators in March about their interactions with Epstein under the threat of civil contempt charges. Lawmakers threatened to criminally refer the couple to the Justice Department for contempt charges if they refused. A bipartisan group of lawmakers has also interviewed former Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick and Microsoft co founder Bill Gates as part of the committee's probe. Commerce panel in July is expected to interview former Goldman Sachs attorney and Obama counsel Katherine Rumler, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz and former JPMorgan Chase executive and ex Barclays CEO Jess Daley. Jess Daley should be up here first.

If anybody has information about what Epstein was doing financially, the it's certainly Jess Daly and I think that that's going to be a very, very interesting interview. Now, of course, it's not going to go far enough. It's not going to be the kind of colonoscopy that it needs to be. But at least we're going to get them on record, right? At least we're going to get them in the transcript telling obvious lies, because you know that's coming. And I'm very interested to see how aggressive the questions are, because if you're going to aggressively question anyone, I think that Jess Staley is a perfect candidate. All three knew Epstein personally and were among his high profile figures whose names appear in recently released Epstein related files, though none of them have been charged with wrongdoing. And look, I'm not saying that any of them did anything wrong besides Jeff Staley. We know for a fact that he's admitted already to having relations with one of Epstein's assistants. So which one was it? Was it Leslie Groff? Doubt it. Was it Adriana Ross? Doubt it. Could be, but doubt it. Was it Sarah Kellen Vickers? Are we getting warmer here? Was it Nadia Marcinkova? Are we getting warmer? I think we are. And if Jeff Staley had relations with them and they were trafficked, that could be a pretty big problem for Jess Staley. I know. Breaking news, right? So I'm really curious to see which way Congress goes. If they're going to softball it or if they're going to come with that high stinking cheddar. And that's what they should be doing, throwing the pitches high and tight, brush these people back from the plate and let them know that this is not a game and that if they don't come correct and tell the truth, there's going to be penalties. Now, I would love to tell you that that's the way the committee is going, but it's not. And so far they've proven themselves to be toothless. No accountability. What? Two people referred to the Justice Department. That's it. After everything we've heard, those are the only two people. Now, I will say this. I'll reserve complete judgment until we come to the end of the committee and their investigation, and we'll see if they have anybody getting referred to DOJ for prosecution. So we'll see what Doug Band has to say today. And once we get the transcripts like usual, we'll get those added to the catalog as well. Until then, though, that's going to do it for this one. The Epstein Chronicles
Episode: Doug Band Set to Face House Oversight on Epstein Ties
Host: Bobby Capucci
Date: June 30, 2026
This episode centers on the impending testimony of Doug Band—once a key aide and confidante to Bill Clinton—before the House Oversight Committee, as part of its ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to some of the world’s most powerful people. Host Bobby Capucci explores Band’s history with Epstein, the Clintons, and Ghislaine Maxwell, reflecting on what Band’s testimony could mean for public understanding of these relationships and the broader scandal.
Bobby Capucci maintains a brash, no-nonsense tone, peppering the discussion with sarcasm and exasperation at the lack of accountability among elites and the perceived inadequacies of congressional oversight. He uses colloquial language, direct analogies, and profanities for emphasis, reflecting the ethos of the podcast: “no punches pulled.”
Capucci wraps up by underscoring the importance of Doug Band’s testimony and promising to review transcripts as soon as they’re available. He remains skeptical about the investigation’s depth and ultimate accountability for those entangled in Epstein’s web, but pledges continued coverage and analysis as events develop.
