And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. You know, usually when I wake up in the morning and head to the studio, there is a ton of bad news to talk about. Well, today we have some good news to talk about. And that good news is the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family has been arrested by authorities in the UK and he was arrested for allegedly passing confidential information on to Jeffrey Epstein. Now, of course, it's not the kind of charges that we want, right? Everybody wants him to be held accountable for what he did to Virginia. But we have to live in the real world. And when we're talking about people like Prince Andrew and other powerful people like him, we have to start somewhere, right? Every great journey starts with the first step. And hopefully this is the first step to real justice. Because you know, they're going to have questions for him. And now that he is in custody and under investigation, maybe there'll be a way to get him to speak with authorities in the United States about what he knows or doesn't know. But one thing is for sure, this is the first step, right when we're talking about people like Prince Andrew, powerful people, you have to get creative if you want to hold them accountable. And this is why I've talked about process and this is why I've talked about going after people via the money trail, because that's the kind of that sticks. There's no arguing with what the money trail says. It is what it is. It doesn't lose its memory it doesn't get destroyed on cross examination. It tells the story right. And that's the kind of story that leads to people like Prince Andrew actually going to prison. And as I've said multiple times over the years, I'll take whatever we can get as long as these people end up in prison and it opens the investigation up further. I think that's a victory. Now, is it an astonishing first round knockout victory? Of course not. But folks, let's not act like this isn't a big deal. We're talking about a prince of the blood, one of the members of the royal family of England being arrested for passing confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein. And it's not just him. Mandelson allegedly did the same thing. So do you just think it's those two dudes over in the uk or do you think there were other people doing the same thing around the world? And it really goes to strengthen the argument that, that Jeffrey Epstein was collecting information and then disseminating that information to whoever was the highest bidder or using it himself to enrich himself and his friends. But nothing's free. When he would enrich his friends, he would also entangle them in his crimes. So that was all part of the hustle. And Prince Andrew passing on this confidential information is a big ass deal. I mean, we're talking about a serious, serious issue. Not only a prince, but a trade envoy who's there to represent the UK is passing classified information onto their buddy Jeffrey Epstein, who's working for God knows who. Not exactly what I would call a good look. Today's article is from the AP and the headline, andrew Mountbatten Windsor Arrested on suspicion of Misconduct in public Office. This article was authored by AP staff Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former British prince who was stripped of his royal titles because of his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. While Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with, with his friendship with Epstein, concerns about Mountbatten Windsor's links to the late financier have dogged the Royal family for more than a decade. Well, yeah, that's usually what happens when you're accused of sexually assaulting somebody, a trafficked underage girl, and then you get onto the BBC News Night program and make a fool of yourself. Usually that ends up pretty bad for you. And my guess is if Prince Andrew could go back in time and do it all over again, he, he would have never given that interview in the first place. I mean, talk about one of the worst interviews in the history of worst interviews. I remember watching it as it happened and I couldn't believe that this dude was saying the things that he was saying. Like, you could tell he was lying in real time. Thames Valley police said that a man in his 60s from Norfolk in eastern England, was arrested and and remained in custody. The force, which covers areas of London, including Mountbatten Windsor's former home, did not identify the suspect, in line with standard procedure in Britain, but pointed to the statement when asked to confirm if Andrew was arrested. And it's a little different over in the uk, right? It's not as much of a spectacle as it is here in America when somebody gets hemmed up. But it's obvious that. That it's Prince Andrew who was arrested. They're just not going to say anything about it, at least not yet. I'm sure they're going to make a statement at some point, but this is right in line with typical procedure over in the UK. Mal Windsor, who turned 66 on Thursday, moved to his brother King Charles III's estate in Norfolk after he was evicted from his longtime home near Windsor Castle earlier this month. Yo. Talk about a great birthday present, huh? I guess hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein and passing them confidential information wasn't a good idea after all, was it? Prince Andrew? After the arrest, Charles said that the law must take its course in the investigation of his brother. Well, yeah. What else can he say? I mean, honestly, the King can't really say much at this point. He's between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Imagine your brother was Prince Andrew and imagine he was this big of a moron, making your life this difficult. But him getting arrested, obviously not a good look for the Royal family. I mean, you want to talk about optics, and not only optics, but precedent. Now that Prince Andrew has been arrested, the floodgates could open for the Royal family. And I really think this is a turning point in the history of the monarchy and the uk. I truly believe that. Now, of course, I'm certainly no expert on the monarchy or on the uk, but I think there is a change in the wind and I think people have had enough. And I think that getting a look at those Epstein files, and I'm not talking about all the salacious stuff, I'm talking about the verifiable way these people talk about the rest of us, about how they feel about the rest of us. And I think that really put things into perspective for a lot of people who might not have understood the sort of evil that we're dealing with. And when I say evil, I'm not talking about, you know, some cartoon villain. I'm talking about the people that are in control of your life. People giving you loans, people that are in charge of the economy, people that are in charge of the countries. These people, they have a lot of contempt for you and the only time you're worth to them is when there's an election. That's it. Besides that, they're going to do whatever they want whenever they want to do it, and obviously they don't give a what the rest of us think. And after people saw those emails, I don't think that was something that could be debated anymore. Because all you have to do is spend a little bit of time reading through those emails and you understand very quickly that you in fact are not part of the club.

dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about and why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved? For over a decade we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same Power games. Same office politics. Same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The lapsed fan podcast. Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

Thames Valley police previously said it was assessing reports that a Mountbatten Windsor sent confidential trade reports to Epstein in 2010, when the former prince was Britain's special envoy for international trade. Those reports stem from correspondence between the two men that was among the millions of pages of documents from the U. S. Justice Department's investigation into Epstein that were released last month. So the FBI had this information. The DOJ had this information. Why didn't they give it to the English government? Why did they sit on it? Why did they let Prince Andrew just skate? Unless Prince Andrew was given that information to an American asset. I'll let you chew on that for a minute. Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct and public office. Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said in a statement. We understand the significant public interest in the case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time. The arrest came as pictures circulated online that appeared to show unmarked police cars at Wood Farm, Mountbatten's Windsor home on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, with plainclothes officers gathering outside. Yo. This is a stunning fall from grace and one well deserved. And it's a damn shame that Virginia isn't with us to see it happen, because this is what she pushed for for a very long time. And I can guarantee you, if she was still with us, she would be taking a victory lap. In his statement, Charles reiterated that he would cooperate with the investigation of the former prince. Let me state clearly, the law must take its course. The King said, as this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. The statement, signed Charles R. Also sought to distance the royal family from Mountbatten Windsor. My family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all, he said. And look, real talk. If the Queen was still alive, I don't think Prince Andrew would have been arrested. She protected him like. Like it was nobody's business. Protecting him like smog protected his gold. And she did everything in her power to make sure that Andrew never dealt with consequence. Well, guess what? Mummy is no longer here to protect you, you sweaty ass nonce. And speaking of sweat, my guess is he's probably sweating as we speak. The late Queen Elizabeth II forced Her second son to give up royal duties and end his charitable work in 2019 after he tried to explain away his ties to Epstein during a catastrophic interview with the BBC. Well, she was forced to do that. But he wasn't exiled. He wasn't banned from royal functions. She just had to make a show that she was doing something. But more details about the relationship emerged in a book published last year, and Charles stripped him of the right to be called the prince and ordered him to move. Then came the unprecedented announcement last week that Buckingham palace was ready to cooperate in the event of a police inquiry into mountbatten Windsor's links. Debstein talk about getting voted off the island. Charles was forced to act after the u. S. Justice department released millions of pages of Epstein documents that reveal the extent of his relationship with Mountbatten Windsor and showed that their correspondence continued long after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Epstein was arrested on sex trafficking charges brought by federal prosecutors in New York in 2019. He took his own life in jail while awaiting trial. Or did he? I love how confident they say that. Oh, yeah, he took his own life while in jail. Oh, okay, cool. Let's see the evidence. As far as Prince Andrew's ass goes, couldn't happen to a better person. And he deserves everything that's coming his way. And make no mistake, Andrew's in serious jeopardy here. Serious jeopardy. And he very well could find himself in prison. Now, obviously, we're a long way away from that happening, but it's certainly something that's on the table. And if you would have asked me just a year ago if Prince Andrew was in any jeopardy of ever going to jail or prison, the answer would have been no. But you can't argue with the documentation, you cannot argue with the money trail, and you can't argue with the fact that Prince Andrew has been caught red handed here, handing off confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein. So for the first time in his life, Prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is gonna have to face the consequences of his actions. And you know what? I'm here for it.
