What's up everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Ghislaine Maxwell has found out where she's going to serve her 20 year sentence and it's not at Danbury. Now, I know there's a lot of people out there and a lot of headlines out there calling where she's going to be spending her time. Down in Tallahassee, a swanky prison. But I have news for you folks, okay? There's no such thing as a swanky prison. It doesn't matter if you're in low security, minimum security. High security prison is prison. And there's nothing fun about being in one of these camps. Now my biggest problem with her being in Danbury would have been how easy the access would have been for people that she knows in New York, where she was stomping around most of her years, to come and visit her on a regular basis, her family. I wanted it to be a little inconvenient, the same way it was inconvenient for me and my family to go visit my grandpa first up in Oregon and then out in Lompoc. What they do is they'll move you away from your family and make it difficult on you, right, to travel. As far as finances go, logistics, getting off of work. So they try and make the bid harder on people. Now it doesn't have the same effect on rich people, obviously, because they have the assets and the money to travel and do whatever the hell it is they want to do. But with normal people, it's usually a real shot to the gut when you get moved far away and her getting Moved down to Tallahassee. Well, it's still a bit of a trip right now. Don't get it twisted. Her family has enough money. They could move wherever they want and be close to her or, or travel wherever they want on private jets and shit and be comfortable. But still, putting her, putting her in Danbury would have been a terrible message to send, in my opinion. And I think people are under the impression that Danbury is a better facilitate, I mean, a worse facility than Tallahassee. And that's not the case now. Again, look, when we're talking about minimum security camps here, like we're talking about there, it's not hard time like being on the main line in state prison in California. There's a lot of focus on rehabilitation. And when my gramps was taking his time away to go to college, if you will, he was in one of these low security camps as well. First he was in Oregon, and then after Oregon, he was in Lompoc, and that's where he finished out his bid. But there was no fences around the encampment, none of that stuff. But in these articles, there's like all this talk from these journalists and these outlets about how people are able to get educated and, you know, take classes and like, that's a bad thing. That's not a bad thing for prison folks. That's. We should be offering that kind of stuff, right? I don't know how people can talk about prison reform and then at the same time talk about how there shouldn't be programs within these prisons for people to better themselves. Now, look, Ghislaine Maxwell can't be rehabilitated, right? But you can't, you know, change the whole system because of one person. So if Ghislaine Maxwell has to go somewhere and serve out her time, she's gonna have to go somewhere. And wherever she goes, there's going to be programs for the other inmates. And you can't single her out and say, well, you can't participate in these programs because that's not the way it works, right? She's been convicted, now she has to serve her sentence. And even though she is a bipedal serpent and one of the most disgusting human beings I have ever encountered, maybe not in person, but you get the drift. She still deserves to be treated with human rights and with a certain level of dignity, like any person in prison. So the whole push in a lot of these new articles about how there's programs offered, I find that to be a bit silly, especially when it comes from outlets that lean to the left that talk about how they're for prison reform and justice reform. Because when you go to these federal prisons, these smaller camps like this, more times than not you're going there for, you know, financial crimes and shit. You're not for the most part a murderer or anything like that, or someone who's dangerous to other inmates. So when you go to a place like this, the idea is to rehabilitate yourself so when you get out, you're a better person. Now again, we know that's not going to happen with Maxwell. She's never going to be a better person. But for me, I look at this as a victory, a small one, but a victory nonetheless that she didn't get to go with where she wanted to go. So today we have an article from the Daily Beast. But before we get into that article, let's read a little bit more about Tallahassee from the Wikipedia page and get an idea about this so called swanky jail they're talking about. All right, so this is straight from Wikipedia. Federal Corrections Institution Tallahassee FCI Tallahassee is a low security United States federal prison for female inmates in Tallahassee, Florida. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the Department of Justice. The facility also has an adjacent detention center that houses administrative security level male inmates. So basically the shoe for people that are in danger of being attacked by other inmates, they have a housing unit for them. FCI Tallahassee is located three miles east of downtown Tallahassee on on Highway 319. Notable incidents On June 21, 2006 at 7:42am local time, federal Bureau of Investigations and United States Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General agents attempted to arrest six correctional officers in connection to a corruption investigation into correctional officers trading drugs and other contraband for sex with female inmates. Sounds like a Disneyland, huh? A real swanky prison, huh? You got six correctional officers who are engaging in a basically a organized crime ring to have sex with inmates, bring contraband in. Yeah, sounds like a fantastic place. One of the officers, Ralph Hill, used a personal handgun and opened fire on the agents he killed. William Buddy center, an agent with the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General Hill was also killed. A lieutenant with the Federal Bureau of Prisons was injured in the shooting and transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The shooting began in the lobby of the building and moved into the courtyard near us. 319 federal officers were unarmed at the time and the officers were to have were to have been armed as well. Michael Falmer, the FBI Special Agent in charge in Jacksonville said the arrest situation was done in a manner to be very controlled, where nobody would have any weapons and we could take this down so there wouldn't be any violence. And this is exactly how it would have been handled normally across the United States. The officers to be arrested, Alfred Barnes, Gregory Dixon, Alan Moore and Elavon Spence, were transported to Walcotta County Jail south of Tallahassee. Vincent Johnson, the last officer named in the indictment, was not involved in the sexual misconduct, but was alleged to have illegally influenced the prisoners to engage in the behavior. So does that sound like a Disneyland to you? Not to me. I'm sure it wouldn't sound like a Disneyland to the families of the inmates there who were being sexually abused either. All right, so here are some of the notable inmates that have served their time there as well. One, Colleen LaRose. She served 10 years and she was released in November of 2018. US citizen known as Jihad Jane. Pleaded guilty in 2011 to conspiracy to provide material support to terrorism and conspiracy to kill in a foreign country for using the Internet to recruit people to wage violent jihad in South Asia and Europe. Sounds like a fantastic person, huh? Chelsea Gerlach. Released from custody in 2013, served six years. Member of the eco terrorist group Earth Liberation Front. Pleaded guilty in 2006 to committing arson at the Vail Ski resort in Colorado and businesses in Oregon between 96 and 2001. Several other members were also sentenced to prison. Maria Butina, served an 18 month sentence, released in October of 2019. Convicted of the Espionage Act. Was deported to Russia after her release from federal custody. Catherine May wood, served a 20 to 40 year sentence, released in January 16th of 2020. Serial killer who murdered nursing home patients in conjunction with her lesbian partner, Gwendolyn Graham. Sounds like another fantastic human being, huh? So you see here, folks, this is not a Disneyland, okay? You don't put people like this in a Disneyland. Narcissa Velez Novacek. Life in prison without parole for the beating deaths of her husband and mother in law in 2009. Bernice Novacek and her son, multimillionaire Ben Novak Jr. Were murdered three months apart. Narci Novak, Ben's estranged wife, was convicted of orchestrating the murders. John Paul Scott, died in 1987. Known as the only escapee from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. Known to have reached San Francisco shore by swimming. Jaelyn Delshon Young. Scheduled for release on January 20th of 2025. American woman from Vicksburg, Mississippi, who was convicted of attempting to join ISIS with her fiance, Muhammad mo. Daklaka. On August 11, 2016, Young was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Doc Lala pleaded guilty and testified against Young and received eight years in prison. Mary Wilkerson, released on February 4, 2020. Former Quality Assurances manager of the Peanut Corporation of America. Kidada Savage, serving a life sentence. Sister of Caboni. Savage helped plot for the crime by retaliating against witnesses and aiding racketeering and hiring two hitmen, Lamont Lewis and Robert Merritt Lewis and is serving 40 years. Merit is serving life and Caboni was sentenced to death. And finally, the woman of the hour, Ghislaine Maxwell, sentenced to 20 years in prison. Release date on July 17th July 2037. Associates of Associate of Jeffrey Epstein convicted of sexual trafficking of minors and related offenses. All right, so there you have it, folks. A quick overview of Tallahassee and a couple of the issues that it has faced in the past. Some of the people that it has housed, and as you can see, there has been a long array, or should I say wide array of kinds of inmates that this place has served, from jihadis to serial killers. And for me, like I said earlier, the fact that she didn't get to go where she wanted to go is enough of a win for me. If, if they thought Tallahassee was a better facility, don't you think they would have asked to go to Tallahassee? They didn't, right? They asked to go to Danbury for a reason. So I'm glad that she didn't get to go to Danbury and she's gonna have to go down to Florida and, and suck it up down here. All right, so we have an article today from the Daily Beast and the headline, ghislaine Maxwell transferred to swanky Florida Prison. Now, with everything we just talked about, I don't know about swanky. Now look again, it's not, you know, the Shawshank Redemption place, right? It's not Guantanamo Bay, but it's still prison and still cracks off. This article was authored by Barbie Lotsa Nadu, convicted sex trafficker and all around bad girl, Ghislaine Maxwell. That's better than the usual explanation or way they explain Ghislaine Maxwell. So give some credit there, but still human trafficker, you mean, right? And general all around scuzz bag and child abuser and bipedal serpent. Okay, that's what you mean. Glenn Maxwell has been transferred to the sprawling, low security Tallahassee Federal Correctional Institution in Florida. According to the Federal Board of Prisons database, the facility, which features a tony brick entrance with white pillars and A lush green sports field is where other famous criminals like Russian spy Maria Butina and Jihad Jane Colleen LaRose served their sentences. And the way it's described, right, like it's some kind of fancy hotel. Swank fields. Well, yeah, people got to play sports, right? Not remember, not everybody at the facility is Ghislaine Maxwell. There's some people there that are for, you know, minor crimes, tax evasion and shit. And they're going to be out in a couple of years. So should they just sit in their cells and not have any ability to play sports or rehabilitate themselves? Certainly not the kind of country I want to live in where, you know, we just send people to prison and let them rot away and die. Now, unless you've committed crimes that deserve something like that, you know, murder, severe violence, hell, human trafficking as far as I'm concerned. But I don't make the rules. You know, there has to be a way for people to let off some steam and stuff, right? The former procurus of underage girls. You mean the former child abuser, the former Jeffrey Epstein, Co conspirator. That's what you mean, right? For the billionaire pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein will be allowed to learn a trade like horticulture, cosmetology or baking, participate in the prison talent show and teach yoga, as she has done during her current incarceration. Based on the list of activities offered on the prison website and several prison review listings, it is unclear if she will be able to continue studying Russian. Well, my guess is she'll be able to have access to some computer time. Most inmates do have access to some computer time. So she should be able to get some kind of learning program if she wants to continue learning Russian. Or get a textbook, A Russian textbook and learn it that way. Maxwell, now 61, is serving a 20 year sentence for trafficking underage girls. For Epstein, her one time lover, she will surely be happier than she has been at the Metropolitan Detention center in Brooklyn, against which she had filed more than 100 complaints, including excessive, humiliating body cavity searches, end invasive shower surveillance. There's no doubt that any one of these federal prisons, for the most part, is better than the lockup she was in. That lockup, the mcc, mdc, they're all shitholes, folks. I mean, absolute shitholes. The kind of place I would never want one of my relatives to be in. According to several news reports, Judge Allison Nathan, who presided over her spectacular trial, spoke out against the transfer to such a cushy spot. This is just plain wrong. In the article, I hate to say that, but it's just plain wrong. You mean to tell if, if Tallahassee was so cushy, why wouldn't Maxwell ask to go to Tallahassee? And as far as Nathan making that request, who knows what she really said or didn't say? I haven't seen one way or the other. But the fact is this. If it was Tallahassee that they wanted to go to in the first place, they would have asked for Tallahassee. They asked for Danbury for a reason. Nathan had hoped to send her to FCI Danbury, on which the popular prison show Orange is the New Black is based. The Florida institution made headlines in 2021 after prison guards were convicted of sexually abusing 15 female inmates. Yeah, what about in 2006? Not even a mention of the shootout or anything here in the article. And that's why I added it to the beginning here so that we have a full overview of what's going on. The new facility will require her to wear an authorized prison outfit consisting of khaki pants and a shirt or a khaki dress. The prison handbook outlines a number of perks including access to a large commissary which where she can spend $320 a month and access to the Internet and email through the prison network. Her days will begin at 6am and she can choose a number of activities to round out her schedule. That's how it works for everybody. She's not getting any special treatment, folks. Okay, Same deal for my gramps. When he was at one at the facility, had himself a job, an accounting job. He'd do his gig. Then after he was done doing whatever he had to do, his queen, quote, unquote responsibilities, he'd go out to the baseball field and watch the guys play baseball. Coached a couple of the ball teams. You know, there's a lot of things for people to do when you're in a minimum security prison to try and, you know, rehabilitate yourself. With Maxwell, she doesn't really need all of that. Right. She's already rich. She doesn't need a college education. So she's just gonna have to find some busy work for herself to do. Several prison review sites list access to a weight room, team sports like flag football and softball and Pilates and yoga as activities afforded to the inmates who choose to participate. She can also get psychotherapy treatment. This is all this. You know, it's crazy that the Daily Beast is out here deriding it. This is the sort of thing that these leftist outlets cry about on A regular basis, having this sort of thing available for prisoners. And what we're remember, we're not talking about high security jail here, folks, okay? High security prison, that's a different story. You shouldn't have any of this stuff available to you if you're that kind of criminal. But if you're somebody who just evaded taxes or got caught up in some, some sort of financial scheme or white collar crime, you really think you should be put in a facility where with, I hate to say it, but people that are borderline animals, that's not, that's not doing good, good for anybody. We do that. Nobody's going to be rehabilitated that way. British Aris Maxwell was convicted of five of six counts of sex trafficking and other crimes she carried out against four women, the youngest 14 at the time, between 1994 and 2004 at Epstein's Palm beach villa, which is 420 miles from her new prison. Her release date is July 17, 2037, according to federal Bureau of Prisons database. So Maxwell transferred finally to the prison. She is gonna be in Florida, Tallahassee. Not getting the Danbury like we said here on the podcast. I knew she wasn't gonna get Danbury. Now I figured she'd get either medium or low. So it doesn't really shock me that she got low. To be honest with you, considering her status and who she is and blah blah, blah, doesn't shock me one bit. Now if I was making the decisions, she would be in high security prison, all of these molesters would be, because as far as I'm concerned, they can't be rehabilitated. So why have them take up a spot in a low level facility? But I don't make the rules. Unfortunately for us and fortunately for them. But the whole, you know, oh, it's a swanky look, I, I get it, right? It's not Alcatraz, it's not Gitmo, but it's still prison. She's still going to be there for 20 years and it's still gonna be a shock to the system, especially for somebody like Maxwell, who's used to writing their own ticket and doing whatever they want, whenever they want. So there you have it, folks. We've been waiting to find out what her final destination would be and now we have that information added to the catalog. So what do you folks think? You think Maxwell is going to have a fun time while she's in prison no matter where she's at? Or do you think it's going to be 15, 20 years of absolute misery for me, I thinking absolute misery. Because when you're as rich as she was or is and you come from where she came from, this is not the business, this is not the life that you're used to living. And Ghislaine Maxwell is about to get a front row seat. Date: June 20, 2026
This episode of The Epstein Chronicles, hosted by Bobby Capucci, examines the recent transfer of Ghislaine Maxwell to FCI Tallahassee, the federal prison in Florida where she will serve her 20-year sentence. The central focus is debunking mainstream media portrayals of Tallahassee as a "swanky" or unusually comfortable facility for Maxwell and discussing what her incarceration will realistically look like compared to other options like Danbury. Capucci delves into the nature of federal prison “camps,” the history and reputation of Tallahassee, and what its programs mean in the bigger conversation about prison reform.
From Wikipedia and other news sources (12:15–19:00):
Capucci closes by reinforcing that, despite sensational media portrayals, Maxwell’s incarceration is hardly a paradise and still represents a significant fall from her privileged life—a meaningful, if imperfect, consequence. He invites listeners to reflect on what justice in cases like Maxwell’s should look like and solicits their feedback via email or Twitter.
