Ghislaine Maxwell, the panel's chairman, said Friday, what we need is a committee that's investigating the committee. See where I'm going with this? Special counsel or bust. Unless there's a special counsel. How's anyone supposed to believe that the DOJ is doing the right thing? Is anybody confident in that? Representative James Comer promised to hold those hearings came a day after first lady Melania Trump urged Congress to give women who have been victimized by Epstein a public hearing specifically centered around the survivors. Well, that sounds great, right? But you have to take it from the source. And we all know that Trump world doesn't do anything that they don't calculate. And furthermore, why did Comer need Melania Trump to come out and say this before he just decided to do it on his own? I mean, did he admonish Pam Bondi for her behavior for ignoring the survivors? And has James Comer ever come out and been survivor centered? No, he has not. This man's whole entire job, his whole role is to protect Donald Trump at all costs. And I've said it a million times, that was the whole point of this committee. They thought they'd get away with it too. They thought that nobody would be the wiser. And then later on they could point back to this committee and say, look, we investigated just like they did down in Florida, just, just like they did in New York, just like they continue to try and do on a daily basis. Seems backwards to me. Why not get the story and then figure out the people that were involved? Let's just give everybody a chance to testify and then talk to the survivors themselves.
