I mean, let's get serious. If James Comer really cared about what happened, if James Comer really wanted justice, then none of these interviews would have been voluntary. This article was authored by Nicole Charkey Chami. House Oversight Committee lawmakers were furious Friday after they received only one non disclosure agreement and involving Leon Black, a former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, according to reports. And what did they expect? That he's gonna show up bright eye and bushy tailed with a whole backpack full of documentation. He's gonna show up with an army of lawyers and he's gonna make the process absolutely painful. And that's because he doesn't respect the committee. And I suspect that he's probably been told through some back channels via his son Ben, that the administration has no desire to even look into what he was up to. Now I don't have any, you know, concrete proof of that, but it seems like it would track. You got a guy like Leon Black who's as powerful as he is and his son is part of the current administration that for as far as I can see, is running a cover up. That doesn't exactly instill confidence that we're going to get to the bottom of it or that a guy like Leon Black is going to be held accountable. The committee had issued a subpoena for Black, the Apollo Global Management founder, demanding all NDAs Black allegedly has related to the late convicted sex offender and his co conspirator Glenn Maxwell. Politico reported. All these NDAs that these dudes sign, shit's hilarious to me. Here's an idea. Don't be a scumbag. I know, very difficult, right? Very difficult just to be a decent human being. They think that because they have a few bucks that they can do whatever they want. And your kids, my kids, anyone's kids, well, they're just play things chattel to be moved around to be used as they see fit. And then we'll sign this NDA and I'll give you 100 grand, which is nothing to me. That way you can never talk about how I abused you. Like in what world is that? Okay, now look, there's legitimate reasons for NDAs, business purposes, you know, shit like that. But when it comes to relationships, what the fuck is going on? And I don't care if you're famous, I don't care about any of that. I find it weird, okay? That's it. That's all. That's my opinion. I think it's weird. And if you need to be in a contractual relationship. Breaking news face. You're in a pay for play relationship. You're not in a real relationship. A spokesperson for chair James Comer did not mince words and signaled what would come next. Oh boy, here we go. James Comer talking tough again. Leon Black isn't acting in good faith. The spokesperson said the committee agreed to extend the deadline to full weeks for full production along all NDAs. And his attorney has deliberately chosen to only produce one. This is unacceptable. And the committee will follow up with his attorneys. Yeah, we're going to give him a stern talking to. If you're not careful, we're going to send you another letter. Like, who do they think they're kidding? Nobody's buying their anymore. Nobody's willing to believe the that's coming out of this committee. Do your job. Hold people accountable and stop the games. Stop wasting tax dollars on games. Black's attorney, Susan Estrich confirmed she turned over a single NDA, one struck between Black and Guzell Ganieva, a woman he was once romantically involved with. That relationship ended with Black paying Ganieva roughly $9.5 million. Ah, you know, $9.5 million, no big deal. Nothing to see here. Leon Black didn't do anything wrong, obviously. He just pays out nine and a half million dollars all the time. Like, what kind of broken ass brain do you have to have to think? That's how it goes down, especially with rich people. Have you ever met a real rich person? These rotten bastards, they won't give you a penny. And if you think a guy like Leon Black, who's swimming around in his money like Scrooge McDuck, is handing out nine and a half million dollar checks for fun, you got another thing coming, my friend. Estridge says Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019, knew about the agreement. GA later sued Black over allegations of sexual misconduct and defamation. But a judge threw out the case in 2023. And this is the woman that Leon Black allegedly reached out to Jeffrey Epstein to so that he could go and get her pressed back in Russia through his contacts, make sure that she wasn't connected in Russia, and then force her into the agreement. But sure, there was no law broken. Leon Black's a hell of a guy. Have you seen the kinds of donations that he made? The responsive information includes only confidentiality agreement that predated Epstein's death and the only one of which Epstein was aware. Epstein was not involved with drafting this agreement, Estridge said in a statement. This confidentiality agreement with Gazelle Ganieva resolved her attempts to extort Mr. Black. Her attempts? Well, she obviously extorted him. If she got the money right, that's not an attempt. That's a success. So do you really think that this woman from Russia, who had no friends, no power, no money, nothing, extorted Leon Black? Sure. And I am the Pope. Guzel Ganieva extorted Leon Black. The New York State Supreme Court dismissed Ms. Ganeva's baseless lawsuit against Mr. Black with prejudice. And that decision was affirmed by an appellate court. Estrid said Ms. Gaeva expressly acknowledged that she never met Epstein. So that doesn't mean that Epstein wasn't involved. What, he has to be in the room? Or could it be that he reached out to his connections, his buddies over in fsb? That's kind of a big deal. No, reaching out to Russia to have them press one of these women, I would say that's a big deal. And also all the people out here that have been idolizing Russia, people like Tucker Carlson and the rest of them, talk about a bunch of propaganda. Paid scumbags. Nobody's gaslighting me into believing that Russia's America's ally. The fuck is wrong with you? You could take that and multipolarity and shove it, but Congress was not just after one relationship's paper trail. Comer has called the material tied to Epstein and Maxwell as vital to keeping the investigation moving and issued the subpoena in the first place only after Black refused to answer questions about the agreements directly. Should have been a subpoena from the jump for all these people. None of these rat bastards should have an easy road home. We need the NDAs to be able to move forward with the investigation. Comer said. You know, a lot of big words from James Comer. And what kind of action have we seen now? Look, I would love to see him follow through and really treat Leon Black the way he should treat him like everybody else. That's all I've asked for. I'm not asking for a pogrom. I'm not asking for Leon Black to be thrown in prison and not be able to defend himself. What I'm asking for is what the law requires. An investigation into serious allegations. And until we have a real investigation, until everybody's looked at, until all the evidence is put forward, and believe me, there's a ton of it, then this isn't over. This isn't something that's just gonna be put to bed. Way too many people understand how deep it goes and how many powerful people are involved. And when people like Leon Black continue to get off, continue to be able to skirt the process that you and I would have to adhere to, well, people are paying attention, and they understand that they would never, ever get that kind of courtesy.
