Interviewer / Committee Member
What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode we're going to pick up where we left off with Leslie Grof and our interview with with Congress. Ms. Brignac. I'll now enter into the record majority Exhibit 6, which is batestamped EFTA 00956524 and dated March 14, 2013. Ms. Brignac question in this email exchange, a redacted individual asked Mr. Epstein whether he will be in New York and whether he has a place for her to stay. Mr. Epstein forwarded this email to you and asks you, and I quote, literally less do we have an apartment for her? I'll give you a moment to review. Okay, Ms. Groff, specifically, this woman says her Czech friend will be in town and Mr. Epstein asks if you have an apartment for her. Who was this individual that needed a place to stay? I don't know. Sorry if you can't remember the name. Did you in fact secure an apartment for this individual? I don't know. I was asked to see if there was an apartment available. I. I don't know what happened after that. Question Is it possible that you would have put her up at 301 E. 66th St? Answer it's possible. Question did you commonly arrange for housing for young women or girls at 301 E. 66th St? Answer I did arrange via because I was directed and asked to set aside an apartment for someone and it could be women and men. How many individuals did you secure housing for at 301 E. 66th St? Answer over my could you be more specific? What do you mean? Question yes, ever. Answer Ever oh, I don't know. I don't know. They were guest apartments and he had guests come and go. Question and what would be the purpose of these foreign women staying at Epstein own residence? Answer I don't know. Question. You never asked. Answer I did not ask. Now Ms. Tolan is asking a question. What was your understanding of Mr. Epstein's involvement or did you understand him to have an ownership in 301East 66th? Answer I thought that he owned the apartments. I didn't know. That's not something that I got into. Question and how many apartments? Answer I don't know. Probably like 10 apartments. Question are those apartments separate from the office space you worked in when you were in that building? Answer 2 of the apartments became no longer guest apartments, they became offices. Question and were the other eight apartments always occupied? Answer no. There would be times when no one would be in the apartments. Question and we've mentioned a couple different individuals that would be housed in these apartments. Were any of Mr. Epstein's assistants housed in these apartments? Answer. Traveling assistants could have no apartment there? Yes. Question and did he pay the rent if they were living there? Answer I don't know. Question Were any other employees of Mr. Epstein housed there? Answer I know at one point Lynn and Jojo had an apartment there. I recall if he would hire I recall somebody who was hired as an estate manager. There was a gentleman. I don't know where he moved from, but he moved into one of the apartments there. Were the pilots that each had an apartment there was, I believe, Darren Lincoln live there for a little bit. Ms. Brignac, were any masseuses housed at 301 East 66th Street? Ms. Groff? No question by Ms. Tolan. And did Mr. Epstein house any of his girlfriends at this apartment? Answer I believe redacted. Lived there for a time and redacted. Lived there for a time. Question and you said you may have put someone in these apartments on occasion. Who else would have been involved in the process? Answer just Mr. Epstein directing me to put aside an apartment for someone. Question did you work with Richard Khan, redacted. Darren Indyke for any of these apartments? Answer no. I don't think they had much to do with who would be staying in the apartments. Now Brignac is asking questions once again. Question Was Mr. Epstein a registered sex offender at the time that you were housing women from Czech Republic? Answer There were constant guests coming and going from his apartments. Question Sorry, was he a registered sex offender? Answer it would be after he was a registered sex offender. Question did that concern you? Answer no. Question Ms. Groff, this committee is attempting to understand the circle of people that allowed for Mr. Epstein to continue the abuse of Young women and girls. Beyond his arrest, you never asked anyone or expressed concern to Mr. Epstein about him housing foreign women and girls in apartment housing? Answer. I did not question him on his business. Question by Ms. Tolan, did David Mitchell ever live in the 301E. 66th apartment? Answer. I don't believe so. Question. And you mentioned guests apartments generally. Is there anyone else you can recall that stayed in the 301 East 66th street apartment as Mr. Epstein's guest? Answer. I recall a mother and her son who was getting treatment at Sloan Kettering. They stayed for a good six months. I know Ehud Barak and Nilia's wife stayed at 301. Who else? I mean, people would often call and ask if they could stay. Some people, you know, I didn't know everyone that was staying there. Question. And changing gears a little bit back to scheduling generally. You mentioned you were responsible for scheduling all kinds of appointments for Mr. Epstein. Is that correct? Yes. And you were specifically scheduling for the meetings at the New York residence? Yes, I scheduled meetings for the New York residents. Question. And what would the scheduling entail? Were you setting times, days, people? Answer. Yes. Question. Can you explain? Yes. Times. Days for a lunch, a breakfast. If it was for a breakfast, I would need to find out what that person wanted for breakfast and make sure to tell his maid, Lynn, what they wanted for breakfast or lunch or dinner. I would coordinate meetings for people who were visiting in town and wanted to see. Standard. Question. And would Mr. Epstein always direct you who to schedule or did you have any discretion? I had no discretion. Question. Were you instructed to schedule certain individuals on a reoccurring basis? No. There was no reoccurring appointment. Were you ever instructed to schedule certain people at the same time or on the same day as other individuals? No. Question. Were meetings ever scheduled for the purpose of Mr. Epstein introducing young women to other prominent individuals. Can you say that again? I'm sorry. Yes. Were meetings ever scheduled for the purpose of Mr. Epstein introducing young women or girls to prominent individuals? No, not that I know of. Did Mr. Epstein ever instruct you to schedule appointments with women directly before or after his business meetings? No. Question. Did you ever schedule massage appointments for Mr. Epstein in between meetings? That would be early on in my employment, yes. And when the massage appointments were scheduled in between business meetings, did the business guests ever partake in the the massages? Not that I know of. Was that an intentional scheduling tactic? I didn't know of any tactics. I just scheduled his appointments as directed by him. Do you know if he would ever invite the guests he was meeting with to partake in the massages? I do not. Question. And were you the one responsible for circulating Mr. Epstein's daily calendar? I did circulate the calendar so that his staff would know when to expect people. Ms. Brignac. So did he ever have a massage appointment on the calendar that you circulated, Groff? Yes. Early on, I believe so. Sorry. After his arrest, were there any massage appointments on the calendar that you circulated, Ms. Grof? No. Ms. Tolan, did you create the schedule that would be sent around? Did I actually type it? Yep. Yes, I typed it. Question. Did anyone else help you create it? Answer. No. Question. Who all would receive the schedule? Answer. Usually the house staff. Or if a pilot needed to know something, he would be included. It was usually. It was the internal people. Question. Was it sent daily? Answer. Yes. Question. And what email would you send this from? Do you recall? Answer my email address. Question. Yes. Answer. It's redacted. Mr. Bauchner, if you recall. I don't recall what my email was. It was a Gmail address. But you had one individual email for work with Mr. Epstein? That is correct. And it would come from that email? Correct. Did you ever maintain a different email address? Maybe affiliated with Darren Indyky's law firm? No, it never changed. My email address never changed. Do you still have access to that account? I have not logged into that Gmail account since I left. Do you know? Sorry, go ahead. Yeah, I mean, I don't know if there's still access to it. I don't know how long an email address remains.

Why was she bringing them to Mr. Epstein? Because Mr. Epstein was. I don't know. He's a businessman and maybe he could. I don't know. Mr. Bochner. Don't speculate. Ms. Groff. Yeah. I don't know. I mean, 30 minutes seemed to be pretty typical. Maybe an hour if it was lunch or breakfast, Something like that. Question. Would you ever hear if an appointment was going long? Why that was no. He might tell me to move something. This appointment's gonna go longer. Can you please move, you know, shift the rest of the day? Episode Focus: Congressional interview of Lesley Groff, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime assistant, dissecting her knowledge and involvement concerning Epstein’s apartments and his interactions with young women and guests, based on a transcript from a closed-door hearing.
This episode dives deep into a segment of Lesley Groff’s congressional testimony regarding her role in arranging apartments and scheduling for Jeffrey Epstein, focusing on the properties at 301 East 66th Street, Groff’s understanding of Epstein’s practices, and her direct involvement or lack thereof in circumstances enabling his criminal conduct. The discussion probes both the mechanics of Epstein’s operation and the limits of his staff’s knowledge or willful ignorance.
(Start of content: 00:45)

On knowledge of cash flow to Barbro En Bomb:
The tone remains methodical, focused, and stark, capturing the character of congressional inquiry and Groff’s consistently reserved, limited responses. The questioning is persistent, shadowed by the gravity of the subject matter, while Groff’s answers are often equivocal, reflecting either lapses in memory, lack of curiosity, or strategic avoidance.
This episode exposes the opaque mechanics that supported Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal activities, spotlighting Lesley Groff’s administrative role in maintaining the façade of normalcy at properties like 301 East 66th Street. The congressional testimony demonstrates how operational compartmentalization and willful ignorance among staff enabled Epstein’s activities, while underscoring the ongoing challenge of unraveling accountability within his inner circle. The episode closes with the promise of further deep dives into the documentary record in the next installment.
