What's up, everyone, and welcome to the Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday marked day one of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, and I have to tell you, I was caught a bit off guard. I wasn't expecting Larry Big Dog Vassalski to be put on the stand right away like that. I figured there would be some opening statements from both sides and then we'd get into the meat and the potatoes, a little bit of the meat on the bone in the coming days. But they got right to it yesterday. And Larry Vassofsky is a major cog within the Epstein realm. He was Epstein's pilot. He was flying all of these people all over the world. And obviously, according to him, he'll tell you that he didn't know who was on all of those flights, especially the domestic ones. But you have to think that the government believes that he has something to add if they're calling him as their first witness. And it also makes me wonder if he cuts some kind of deal with the government. Now, again, there's zero evidence that Larry Vassalski was ever going to be indicted or anything like that. But it's pretty interesting that he's working with the government here. I mean, we're talking about a guy that Jeffrey Epstein gave a plot of land to right over there in his own ranch down in Stanley. And when I went down there to New Mexico, it is almost hard to explain just how vast this property is and just how desolate this property is. Jeffrey Epstein set up a nice little home away from home down there. At Zorro Ranch. And the things he was doing down there were very secretive, right? It wasn't something that was well publicized. There was a reason he chose that spot in New Mexico. I mean, obviously one of the reasons is the age of consent there. But there were other reasons why Jeffrey Epstein chose New Mexico. And the fact that he was able to get away with the things he was able to get away with in New Mexico is just mind boggling to me. But the point is, you don't give somebody a big fat chunk of land and in a place that you're hoping to keep relatively private, or at the very least under a shroud of secrecy, a piece of land there if you don't trust them. So my question is, what enticed him to offer up information for the government? Now, again, I don't have any, you know, lead saying that he had a proffer agreement or he was in any jeopardy of being indicted. But I just find it interesting that he is talking with the government now, and not only just talking with the government, obviously, but taking the stand as a government witness. Usually that kind of thing doesn't just happen organically. Right. The government is, you know, they find ways to get people to do what they want them to do. Especially if you have something that might be criminal hanging over your head, they will definitely leverage that. They'll use it in their favor and they'll get you moving in a direction that they want you to move in. So the Larry Vassalski on the stand, it's definitely very interesting, but as I ruminated on it last night and I let it marinate, I had some more questions, right? Like, did he get a proffer agreement? Is he working with the government because he doesn't want to be charged himself, or did they just turn him as a witness? So it's going to be very interesting to see all of the details, right, all of the specifics as we move forward. And with something like this, a trial, a case with just so much information, it's going to be very fluid. Things are going to happen quickly and things are going to happen on a daily basis. Every single time that you have this jury impaneled and the trial going on, you're going to have, you know, significant things coming out of those sessions. So getting right off to a jump with Larry Vassoski as witness number one, it just tells me that there's going to be some more surprises coming down the old chute here. And I'm very curious to see who else government offers up as witnesses. And on the flip Side of that, I'm wondering who the defense is gonna pony up as a witness besides their paid for specialists. Are they going to have anyone show up and, you know, polish Ghislaine Maxwell's reputation? Is anyone going to step into that box and say, hey, look, Galan Maxwell's a good person. She didn't do this, and I think that she's innocent. Now, I haven't heard that they're going to have anybody up there to do that, but you would think, right, if you're the defense, one thing you want to do is try to establish that your client has, you know, is a person of character, is somebody who this is below and somebody who would never engage in behavior like this. And if your client is somebody like that, it stands to reason that you'd be able to find a few people that are willing to, you know, go on the record and testify that she's a good person or that she's somebody of upstanding character. So I'm interested to see what sort of trick the Maxwell team pulls out of their hat when it comes to establishing her as a credible person or somebody who should be believed because you know that the, the prosecution is, they're coming hard. Obviously, if Vassowski is the first witness, you got to think that there's going to be a litany of people trotting up to that box that have damning statements about Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein and the way they were conducting themselves. And who better situated than the guy that was flying them all around the world? Now, last night I updated and uploaded an episode about the other pilot that was brought up at this trial, David Rogers. You might want to check that out as well. But with Larry Vasoski taking the stand here, it's pretty significant for those of us who have been following the case, especially I was talking with some of my colleagues who follow the case yesterday, and it was pretty much a unanimous consensus that, you know, this is probably going to lead us to even more explosive witnesses hitting that stand. So I'm very interested to see where things go today, and I'm interested to see what sort of strategy the defense is going to use when it comes to cross examining Larry Vassaski. We can definitely expect more of Vassaski today, and, you know, we'll see what comes of it. But I think it's very, very interesting that he was the first witness and I think it's going to be interesting to see how it all breaks down from here. So today, what we're going to do is we're going to take a look at some of the headlines from overnight and yeah, take a look at what's going on. We have a headline over here from Slate and this is an article that was published by Seth Stevenson. The headline, glenn Maxwell's trial opens with her lawyer diving straight into the muck and he goes into what's going on, like outside of the courthouse. And all of that jazz from the article. Outside the Thurgood Marshall Federal Courthouse in lower Manhattan this morning, the media throng assembled to cover day one of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial. Print reporters, newsletter writers, podcasters and television crews coalesced into the strangely glamorous frenzy that seems to accompany the launch of every, every high profile criminal proceeding. Now, the reason I bring this headline up is I talk a lot about how it's carnival barker city right now and you're definitely seeing it out in front of the courthouse. There are people of all stripes showing up and making their voices heard. And you know, you have a lot of misinformed people as well. But one thing is very apparent to me, and it is that there is a lot of anger on both sides of the political fence. And it's not very often that you see that. Now, of course, there are the yahoos that are using this as a political cudgel to beat their political opponents over the head. And I'd be very cautious of any of these pundits that are talking about this case from either side of the conversation. I'd be very cautious about what sort of rhetoric they're spinning towards you because this is much bigger than that. This is so much bigger than Republican and Democrat. This is so much bigger than left and right. You have to understand that this, this was people at all, levers of power from both parties who were enabling this and facilitating this for decades. So to try and pin it on one party or the other is a great disservice to those who were actually abused by this scumbag.

Become a Post person at Post Edu. So while the circus like atmosphere is to be expected, I think that it is one of the most gross ways to go about things when you're using this as a political cudgel. Now, of course there's a political angle to it, right? Definitely. A lot of the people involved had ties to politicians or were politicians themselves. But it's very apparent when someone's trying to harness this as a political weapon, and I would just caution you to be very, very wary of that. He goes on to say, I've seen it before. It always starts this way in Mystery and Frisian, and it always ends in the. In the squalor. That's the reality of crime. No matter the trial, when it comes to a high profile one, it's always going to have a cast of characters, right? So I just, it's one of those things where I just, I witness and I observe and shake my head. You know, you have like, like he says here, when Michael Jackson's trial for child sexual abuse charges was getting underway, the media revved up to cover the bizarre tale of an eccentric global superstar. And then the trial began and we met a dim, lonely drunk who liked to show porno mags to little boys. So I guess what he's trying to say here in this article is the perception of what a trial is going to be and then the reality of it are usually two very, very different things. And I think we'll see a lot of that in this case as well. There are a lot of misinformed people when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein case, the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, and all of the players on the stage. And hopefully when we're done here on the podcast, we can try and clear a little bit of that up. And my suggestion would be to all of you out there who are new to this case, who, who have just found the Ghislaine Maxwell trial or have just gotten interested in this I would suggest that you go onto social media and you seek out some of the survivors from this case and follow them on social media and listen to them in their own words. That way there's no background noise, there's no middleman. And one thing that these survivors did that was pretty much groundbreaking was they skipped the legacy media and they went directly to social media, to independent content creators and independent journalists to get the story out. And once there was such a swell from all of you people out there who have been following this case, they were forced to act right. And it's been pretty crazy to watch it all unfold because it has been time and time again where not only were these, these girls, women victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and allegedly Maxwell, but by our very own justice system, by the people who were put in place to make sure that the most vulnerable amongst us are protected. Those very people failed these girls. And you heard it yesterday in the trial and it's something I've been punching home for a long time here. They chose girls from broken homes, girls who come from low income families, girls who don't have as many prospects on the horizon. And they specifically search these kinds of girls out. And that just makes it even more draconian to me, as if it's not hard enough being broke, being poor, coming from a broken home. Now you have this multi hundred million dollar predator and his co associate, his underboss bringing you in to groom you and molest you. And it's absolutely horrendous to think about. And the fact that they preyed on the most vulnerable amongst us, it just makes me so mad. I really dislike bullies and I really like people who punch down. I really dislike people who punch down. And Jeffrey Epstein was all of that. And Ghislaine Maxwell, she went right along with it. She was right there making decisions with him and helping him facilitate all of this, according to multiple, multiple survivors. He goes on to say that he suspects that the trial of Glenn Maxwell, who stands accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused minors, will follow a similar, similar arc to those other trials. Meaning, you know, the whole entire circus atmosphere, etc. Etc. He says the media has revved itself up to cover the story of a stylish jet setting socialite who broke fantastically bad. But over the coming long courtroom days, chances are we'll hear less about how she graduated from Oxford, speaks several languages and can pilot helicopters, and more about how she allegedly took teenage girls on Florida shopping mall excursions as a means of prepping them for molestation. Yeah, well, anyone who's showing up here thinking that Ghislaine Maxwell is just some shrinking violet socialite, you're in for a rude awakening, because that is not the case. Ghislaine Maxwell is not that. Okay. She knew exactly what she was getting into. Well, educated lady comes from money, comes from power. And to think that she was just along for the ride is absolutely ridiculous. And, you know, again, when we talk about the overall atmosphere around this trial, there's gonna be some wildness, there's no doubt about it. And there's going to be a ton of carnival barkers and a ton of disinformation agents. But one thing that is going to be constant, one thing that you can guarantee is the profile that's going to be painted of Ghislaine Maxwell is going to be less than flattering by the prosecution. And not only that, but those assertions, well, they're going to be backed up by evidence and the statements from the survivors themselves. So it's going to be a very, very interesting few weeks to see which way Maxwell's team goes with all of this. Now, we already know that their strategy so far has been to come out and blame the girls, basically, right? Saying that, you know, Maxwell was a just someone who was around for Epstein's run. She didn't have anything to do with it. And, you know, the girls are liars. They're really above the age of consent. So you know how it goes. This is the typical defense when you see a case like this. You know, they try and impugn the reputation of the accusers. They try and set them up as if they're money hungry or they're prostitutes or whatever it may be. But it's the age that they've been doing this forever. It's like when you're in the NFL and you fire your coach and you think it's a good idea to bring in Wade Wilson again, bro, why are you bringing in the same guy with the same playbook? And that's what the Maxwell team is doing here. And I've been pretty steadfast, in my opinion, that it's not going to work out. You're not gonna paint Maxwell as a scapegoat. She's not a stand in for Epstein's crimes, none of that. And I really hope that the prosecution punches that home. Now, again, not very confident in the. The prosecution in America, the prosecutors in America, when they're going after high profile people. Oh, sure, when the federal authorities are going after you or me, it's a home run for them, right? Slam dunk city. But when they're going after their own friends, the other members of so called elite society turn usually turns out a little bit different, doesn't it? But hopefully there is enough interest and enough, enough anger around this case that they can't pull any of those nonsensical moves that they usually like to pull. So I hope that the prosecution continues to beat home the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell was not a passenger on this ship. She wasn't just somebody who was stowing away, she was in fact piloting the ship. Sometimes she was in the navigation room. She knew how the engine worked and she certainly, most certainly knew what was going on. And for her to set it up as if she had no idea what was going on, you know, that she was just completely taken off guard by what, what happened here is just an absolute ridiculous leap that they're asking people to take. And I honestly doubt anyone's going to be willing to take that leap. So there you have it folks, for the morning now, trials getting ready or is back underway as we speak. It's 6am here in Las Vegas as this episode's about to be dropped. So we got a whole day ahead of us. We're gonna keep an eye on things. What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Day four of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial is about to get underway and I expect another day of the defense trying to demean the credibility of witnesses brought to the stand by the prosecution. They have revealed their hand, they have shown us the way that they're going to go about this and it is pretty much par for the course of what I expected. When you look at Ghislaine Maxwell's legal team throughout this whole entire ordeal and how this strategy started to unfold, it was very obvious that they were going to go after A the memories of the the accusers and b try and demean their credibility leading up to this trial. All of the motions and all of the different proceedings that went on, we cataloged them here on the podcast and talked about them as they were happening. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna repost some of those considering there are a ton of new listeners lately and I'm guessing that most of you are not familiar with the whole catalog of my work. So I feel like it's relevant to go back and take a look at how we got here. So what I'm going to do is later today I'm gonna post a few episodes of the proceedings leading up to the actual trial. Some of the bail requests, some of the other complaints that Maxwell had. And you'll start to see how the strategy was coming into view. They were setting the groundwork for it, basically. And last night after I got done recording the evening update, I went back and listened to a few of those episodes and it was apparent then, right, that they were going to set up this strategy to move forward this way. But it wasn't as glaring as it is now that we have some hindsight to look back with it on. Because there is no way that Ghislaine Maxwell and her attorneys think that they're going to be able to win this as far as on evidence based courtwork. Right. They know that the evidence is piled against them. That's just a fact. All you have to do is look at the circumstantial evidence that we have seen so far. Now we've already had the one accuser on the stand telling her story about the abuse that she suffered at the hands of Maxwell and Epstein. And unfortunately we're going to hear more of that. And for a lot of people, it's shocking. A lot of people really have no idea the scope of what went on here. And I have received so many emails in the last couple of days about this case, people were so unaware. And leading up to this, I called people who weren't aware of this case the unsullied, meaning that you had not been corroded with this disgustingness yet. But once you get a little look at what Epstein was up to and you look at all of the different levels of power that were being pulled by all the different players on the stage, it's hard not to dive headfirst into this story and become addicted. Because there was a great wrong done here, folks. A great wrong to a great number of people. And the girls that have come forward, the survivors who have come forward to steal the narrative from the legacy media and bring it directly to you, the people, they're just the tip of the iceberg. Because what happened here is so heinous and so overwhelmingly disgusting that I have no idea how it hasn't been the biggest story in the news for three years. And I truly mean that it has all of the elements of the things that want to make you vomit. And finally starting on Monday, we got to the trial portion of it and it's being bared for everybody to see in open court. You know, it's one thing when you read an article about what happened to these girls, and it's one thing when, you know, you hear a reporter or me talk about it, it's a whole different story, to hear it from their mouths, themselves, to hear it from the survivors themselves. And that's why I have. One of my biggest things throughout this whole investigation for the last two and a half years that I've been doing here is to listen directly to what the survivors have to say and not to any of the other. No, I don't need a reporter to tell me what happened. If the survivor is going to tell me her story, right? I got. I prefer to go directly to the source and not play a game of telephone if possible. And these survivors, what they did was they pulled an end around on the legacy media because the legacy media was complicit in protecting Jeffrey Epstein. Now, that doesn't mean every reporter, right? When I say the legacy media, I'm talking about the big shots. So they pulled the old end around and that's how we got where we are, basically, if I'm being real. Because if not, if they waited for the legacy media to bring their story to the people, to you, we would have been here forever. And now that we're at the trial portion of it, it's really disturbing to hear the actual situation that these girls were in, the stories right from their lips in open court. It's heartbreaking. And I don't know how anyone can read the testimony or hear about what happened to them and not just be mortified first and then absolutely pissed off afterwards. There is no scenario where a guy like Jeffrey Epstein and his partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, should be able to conduct this sort of behavior for decades. And it's. It's crazy to me that this story hasn't been the number one story for the past few years now. Obviously it's starting to make that turn. Right? You have people coming out of the woodwork who are interested in this story now, and I say that's a good thing. I have zero problem going over ground we've already covered to try and, you know, catch people up. Because at the end of the day, that's the whole point, right? Get as many people aware of what's going on as possible so that we can work together to force our politicians or those in power to change things and to hold people accountable. Because we know they're not going to do it on their own, right? They're going to need a little nudge from us. And until something becomes this heinous and this in their face, they usually don't make a move. But once in a while, they're embarrassed, meaning the federal government embarrassed so much by their inaction they're forced to take action. And we saw it with R. Kelly. How long did it take to bring him to heal? Wasn't there accusations of him urinating on some little girl back in the day that just got swept under the rug? Right. Got a lot of power, a lot of money. You can make that happen. How long was Keith Rainier able to run around with his Nexium cult and brand women? But once this stuff gets out there and once the population, the people you hear about it, it becomes a whole different ball game. And then all of a sudden the authorities, well, now they want to act and frankly, I'm pretty tired of it. I've seen the pattern now for three years it's the same story inside of a story and it just happens over and over and over again on repeat. Until recently anyway, saw R. Kelly go to prison. Perfect. Keith Rainieri, prison, perfect, perfect. Now just waiting on Ghislaine Maxwell to get her taste as well. And like R. Kelly, like Keith Rainiery, she's getting a trial. She's going to be able to sit in front of a jury of her peers. And that's something that her victims, alleged victims, they didn't have that ability, right? They didn't get to choose if they wanted to be abused by Epstein and Maxwell. They didn't get to plead their case. But before they were abused. But Maxwell, she's getting her trial. She's getting treated as fairly as any other prisoner to dispel the myths and the rumors about her unfair treatment in jail. That's a bunch of bs. People like her are always in solitary confinement. It's called the shoe. They put them in special housing. That way they're not abused and beat up by the other inmates. And that's when you're not famous and you're a pedophile. When you're rich and famous and you've touched children, forget it. You have a green light put on you right away.

And her legal team throughout this whole entire fiasco has been very adamant that her being in solitary confinement has been akin to some sort of brutal punishment that you would have only found in the middle Ages, when in reality it's nothing like that. But you see, that was her strategy the whole way through, folks. Loopholes and technicalities. Loopholes and technicalities. And when you have the kind of money that Ghislaine Maxwell has, it's easy to litigate people into oblivion. So we saw that throughout the years as well. Just the specter of their power keeping people in line. But yesterday, the testimony of Jane was backed up by Matt. And my assessment of that is if I was on the jury, which I am not, and obviously I can't project because I don't know what the jury is thinking, but if I was on the jury, I personally would take Matt's account very seriously. He has nothing to gain by backing up Jane. Jane's account here. There's nothing on the table for him. In fact, he's doing this at great risk of his own, you know, well, being. For those of you who are not aware, you know, the, the remnants of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise, nowhere near as powerful as when Epstein was alive and kicking and they were getting protected from on high. But these are still very powerful people with a lot of money, and a lot of people are not willing to speak out against them. So Matt coming forward yesterday on the stand and speaking out against Ghislaine in defense of what Jane said and corroborating what she said, I think it's gonna go a long way with the jury. I think it's going to be a relatively big deal. And I think that the jury is looking at this case and obviously looking at all of the facts. And when you do, it's rather obvious that Maxwell and Epstein were certainly up to no good. And the more of these witnesses that we see come up on the stand and the more of them that go into the details of what occurred, the more heinous it's going to become and the more difficult it's going to become for Team Maxwell. To spin their way out of it. And remember, that was only the first testimony of the first witness. There are three more accusers that are going to get on that stand and I'm sure there's going to be some other surprises for us that we don't know about. So after day three, I mean, look, I. Maxwell's lawyer, Menninger, was very shrewd yesterday and her line of questioning was very targeted. They stayed on the path that they have laid out for themselves and they didn't deviate. And she asked some pretty brutal questions that were cringeworthy in my opinion. Now, I get it's her job, right? She's a lawyer. She has to, you know, try and defend her client. But it made me feel dirty listening to it. I can't even imagine being a lawyer and defending people like this. I get it. Look, everybody deserves a lawyer in the United States of America, no matter how scummy you are, right? That's just the way it goes. Because once we start taking rules away for some, that means the rules for all of us could be in jeopardy. So everybody deserves a lawyer right now, that's about as far as it goes for me. Once you get that lawyer, then great. Then, you know, everything is as it should be. And I hope your fate is sealed after that. And usually when you have a heinous crime, it doesn't matter how good the lawyer is, as long as the evidence holds up. And I think that's what we're, what we're looking at here, folks. I think that when all is said and done, we're gonna see the evidence hold up, we're gonna see the testimony hold up. And we're going to see the real disgusting, true face of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein completely revealed. You know, it's crazy to me to think that there's people out there that still are in the mentality that this is a money grab. This isn't your typical he said, she said case. There is no gray area here for me anyway. And again, I might be cynical. I've spent a lot of time digging into this story and I'm not a journalist, right? I'm regular guy like most of you out there. I just happen to have a bigger mouth. But when I started digging into this story and looking at all of the evidence and all of the facts, it was just almost impossible for me to believe that this did not occur, that these girls were not abused. And the mindset that it's all about money, that it's all about money, all the time is just gross to me. What if this was your sister or your mom or your aunt or someone you loved? Would you say, oh, it's all just about the money? Then we got to remember that these are real people. Not just names on a page or somebody being called out in the media. These are real people who have real emotions and feelings who have suffered greatly at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal. His criminal enterprise. And for them to come back and relive this all again on the stand and going through all of this again, it's a big deal, and it just shines a light on their courage once again. I've never seen a group of more courageous people. And that's not hyperbole, though. The. The abuse that these ladies have to suffer, you know, is just out of control. And I don't mean just at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell. The. The complete assaults on their character for years and years and years, at least until recently. And how many times do you hear, oh, prostitute this, prostitute that? Breaking news. Children can't be prostitutes, okay? They can't consent, so how can a child be a prostitute? But now, in open court, these accusers, they have their chance to look Ghislaine Maxwell in the eye and say to her, what you did to me ruined my life. And I'm here to make sure you get a little taste of justice. And obviously, it's not what we all want. It's not far enough, right? It's not far enough. Anyone who sits here and says that up just getting Maxwell, that's enough. Well, they don't know what they're talking about now. It's a step in the right direction. I'm not going to sit here and downplay the fact that Maxwell is sitting in a jail cell or Jean Luc Brunel is sitting in a jail cell in France. It's a big deal. When I first started covering this case, none of these people were suffering any of the consequences. They all had their positions of power. They were all still running around running companies, and now most of the key participants. That's not the case, but it still does not go far enough. I don't want to rock the boat, folks. I want to destroy this. Mf. Enough is enough with people like this. The way that they abuse the most vulnerable in society is just on another level, wrong. It's not bad enough that these people ruin our lives on a regular basis with their decision making, but now they have to give cover to their. Their buddies who are running trafficking rings as well. And frankly, for myself, and I only speak for myself, I have had a belly full of all of it. A belly full of all the lying, all the BSing and, and certainly I've had enough of people like Epstein and Maxwell being able to just do whatever they want and granted carte blanche when they do it. I have never been somebody who called for vigilante justice. Not my thing. I'm somebody who wants the criminal system reformed. I want violent, I mean non violent offenders to have a real chance at rehabilitation. And I honestly agree with, with Maxwell about how screwed up the jails are. But that said, I don't have empathy for her because now that she's in that position, she has to deal with it. Where were you when Kalief Browder was in Rikers Island? Where were you when insert poor person's name here, was suffering at the hands of the state? So typical for a rich person like Maxwell. Until it's her issue, right? Till she's the one walking in the shoes. It does you really think that she ever thought about prison reform while she's eating her caviar and running around with Epstein grooming children? I'm sure that's what she was thinking about, criminal reform. But that's another one of her lines, another one of her things that she's been pumping while she's been in jail. When in reality, we all know the score. We all know the scoop. The absolute assault that we have seen on the survivors by Maxwell and her people we saw just continued and picked up in the courtroom. Now today we're going to be starting off the proceedings with the witness from Interlaken, the executive or whatever his name was. So they'll finish off with him as the first witness and then we'll move on to the rest of the witness list. I'm not really too sure who else they're going to call today. I was looking around earlier last night and this morning and I couldn't find a list of witnesses, so we'll have to play it by ear. But in the studio, I'm ready to go. I got the computer locked in. I got the TV monitor on the wall connected to the other computer to watch the, the actual proceedings as they're happening. As far as the transcripts coming out from Inner City Press and Adam Klassfeld and a few others. Make sure you're following all of these people on Twitter if you're looking to catch this stuff as it's happening now. I get it. A lot of people don't like Twitter. I am. A lot of people Not a big fan. I don't really comment too much on there. You know, I. I'm on here on the podcast with you folks, like, for an hour and a half a day. What more can I possibly say on Twitter in 140 characters? Right? So if you're. If you're into Twittering or tweeting or whatever the hell you kids call it these days, I definitely suggest following Adam Klassfeld and Inner City Press, Kate Bricklett from the Daily Beast has done fantastic work here. Yeah. And there are several other outlets where you can get some good quality as it's happening news out of that courtroom. So tonight, like usual for the evening roundup, we'll go through all of the witnesses again. We'll go through all of the testimony, and I'll break it down and give you my opinion on what occurred. Because it's a long, windy road, isn't it, folks? And if we weren't getting these transcripts out by people like the guys over at Inner City Press or Adam Klassfeld, we have to rely on a recap, basically, from the media. And I, for one, am glad that we do not have to rely on that, that we have actual people in there just giving it to us as it's coming out. And that's the way I prefer it. Right. I prefer raw data and in this instance, raw testimony. I don't need anybody to spice it up for me and make it digestible. So that's what we'll be doing tonight. And like I said, I'm gonna upload a few episodes about how we got here, some of the proceedings that have taken place, obviously, in the past, some of the other courtroom procedures, and obviously I'll be uploading some more context episodes as well. I have a catalog of over, like, 1600 episodes. So as things pop up in this trial, I'm gonna try and add those episodes as we go along to add more context to the conversation. So we'll see, folks, and I'm here for it. We'll definitely keep our eye on what's going on today all day, like usual. And this is gonna be the process for the next five weeks or so. Now, remember, the first week of January, I'll actually be in New York covering this case for the verdict. Now, I plan on staying in New York. I don't know however long it takes to get the verdict. Hopefully no longer than a couple of weeks. It's freezing in New York this time, this time of year. But I'll be there for the verdict. And my plan is to actually be in the courtroom on those days. So what I will do those days that I'm in New York, I will take my own notes and when the proceedings end and I get back to my hotel room, we'll get right into it and I'll give you my breakdown on what I saw in the court, what I felt from the, the witness statements, because you can only get so much from reading it, right. It's a different ball game when you're actually there and you see facial expressions and stuff like that. So that's how the trial should open up today. Juan Alessi back on the stand and Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers hammering away, trying to punch some holes in his story. Now, I would guess that they're going to lock onto the fact that Juana Lessi clipped 6,300 bucks from Jeffrey Epstein to try and hammer home the fact to the jury that this man is unreliable, he's a thief, and he shouldn't be trusted. And that is definitely the kind of strategy you would expect, right? Because the testimony he's giving certainly does not look good for their client. So if they can muck that up a little bit and maybe throw a little bit of doubt on his character and attempt to impugn who he is, then it will make it a lot easier for them to have the jury believing that the testimony he gave was bs. So that's gonna be the battle today with the first witness. And I'm very interested to see how it all shakes out. Because as we've seen in the last few days since the trial has started, at the very least, Team Maxwell has been going scorched earth. And I would expect them to do the same here with Juan Alessi. But the testimony he gave yesterday, you know, it really corroborates a lot of things we've heard in the past. We've heard about the double sided dildos, the cleaning up that he had to do. We've heard that story before. We've also heard, I mean, a huge amount of stories from Virginia about the same kind of deal, the two sided dildo, the massages, bringing, being brought to the massage room. And what it does is it just. It adds more meat to the bone, right? More context. And it corroborates a lot of those things that we had heard being reported in the news. Now, those of us who have followed the case, we know that all of this stuff, what really happened, right? But when it comes out here in a courtroom setting, well, there's no disputing it anymore. And for Virginia moving forward, this can only bode well for her, in my opinion, it just shows that she's been truthful throughout this whole entire thing, that her recollection of what occurred is bang on. And for her, with her, her civil case starting January 4th with the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, Prince Andrew, this is definitely some wind in the sails, in my opinion, because Alessi was there for all of it, and him recounting these things during this testimony, it just strengthens what we already have heard from Virginia. So I thought that that was a pretty interesting situation to unfold from yesterday's testimony as well. Now, on the flip side of that, like I said yesterday, I don't look at Juan Alessi as a good guy in this either. In fact, I don't really believe that there are too many good people at all when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. And that goes for the people who are investigating him as well, unfortunately. But Juana Lesi, he had a chance to stop this. How many times could he have went to the authorities? How many times have he could have, you know, maybe helped one of these girls? But he didn't. So I'm certainly not going to sit here and act like Juana Lessee is, you know, some hero in this story who came riding in on his horse in his white shining armor to help get some justice. Because I have a sneaking suspicion that he didn't do it of his own volition. Pretty sure that he was probably pressured by the authorities. Now, again, I don't have any evidence of that directly, Right. And I can't, you know, point you to an article and say, hey, look, here's exactly where it is. But it would make sense, and especially considering that Alessi was somebody who basically admits that they were a co conspirator by picking these girls up. And so what you mean to tell me, Mr. Alessi, is that you would pick these girls up, you would bring them back to the house, they do the massage air quotes, you'd go in there, clean it up, find dildos and stuff, and you didn't have any idea what was going on. Talk about not having any kind of leg to stand on with that argument. Right. How could you? What did you think was going on? So Juanalesi is not somebody who I look at in this story and say, oh, yeah, this is one of the few people who are good guys here, one of the few people who really cared, because it doesn't seem like that's the case now. With that said, I'm glad that he's testifying, at least. Better late than never. Right? But they're going to attempt to really cut him off at the legs today. They're going to go after his. His theft of that $6,300. They're going to ask him, I'm sure, some of the same questions that I just asked. Why were you taking part in this if you thought that this was wrong, all of that stuff? And they're gonna look to really break him down and shatter whatever credibility he has now. Are they going to be able to do that? I don't really know, but I don't think so. When it comes to these kinds of allegations, if it was just Mr. Alessi making these allegations, I could definitely see how Maxwell's legal team would be able to just cut that off at the pass. But it's not that. Alessi is just one of many witnesses that is being brought forward to paint the picture of the situation going on within Epstein's circle and how Ghislaine Maxwell was a huge part of that. In fact, in the testimony yesterday, he said that Ghislaine Maxwell came in and she became, quote, unquote, the lady of the house. So she was making all of the decisions. Nobody was making those decisions for her. And it goes to show you again that Maxwell was in a leadership role. She was the one making these decisions about what occurred in this house. She was the one setting up all of these different air quotes, massages. And according to the survivors, she was also the one participating in the abuse sometimes. So while we're dealing with a whole host of disgusting human beings, and that's pretty much everybody we're going to hear about in the Jeffrey Epstein trial. I mean, the Glenn Maxwell trial, pretty much everything where everybody we hear about is going to be a scumbag. And the idea is going to be to try and figure out which one of these scumbags is really telling the truth. So that's gonna be the task for the jury and for the prosecutors and the defense to hammer out. But so far, we haven't seen anything from Maxwell as far as evidence. And I don't mean in this trial. Right. We have A long way to go. I'm talking about leading up to this. There was no big push about her innocence or anybody coming forward saying, well, hey, look, Ghislaine Maxwell, this is real out of character for her. She would never do this. Instead, we had girl after girl come forward and talk about how Maxwell was integral in their abuse. We have person after person come forward and talk about how Ghislaine Maxwell was just a scummy human being, how she talked about minorities, how she talked about poor people, how she looked at people who weren't part of her social circles as less than. And you could see it in her behavior, the way that she treated these girls as if they were chattel, as if they were playthings, as. As if they weren't human beings with hopes, dreams and aspirations. That's the true face of Ghislaine Maxwell. That's the face that's been exposed to me for the past two and a half years. And I can't even imagine how long the survivors have been seeing that ugly mug in their face. I mean, in their mind's eye. Because what happened here, folks, is one of the biggest miscarriages of justice perhaps ever. And all of these people, all of these scummy individuals surrounding Elaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, people like this Alessi character, chef Adam Lang, all of these people that were around and then have the audacity to talk about, oh, well, I didn't see anything. It's just, it's just crazy to me. So now when you get them finally on the stand, someone like Alessi, and you have them under oath, it's nice to see what they have to say because under normal, normal circumstances, I don't really trust what any of these people say. How can you. The whole entire enterprise of Jeffrey Epstein's was absolutely draconian. And all of these people who took part, all of these people who facilitated it in some way, they all need to go to prison. Maxwell, however, she had a leadership role. She was in a position where she was giving orders to other people so that this whole entire thing could keep moving forward. That's what's been alleged. So when you look at the levels of scumbaggery Juan Alessi, certainly on the, on the chart. Right. But not as scummy as Ghislaine Maxwell. Not in my opinion, anyway. So I'm very interested to see what else is coming today as far as testimony from Alessi. Now, they're going to attempt to have him go back on what he said yesterday. They're going to try and trip him up. And you have to expect that the Ghislaine Maxwell strategy will hold here and it'll be all guns blazing evisceration and try and nuke them from the sky kind of shit. Because remember, like I've said since she's been arrested, it's never going to be about the information in the courtroom. Right. That, that was never their goal. Their goal was to always beat this on a game of loopholes and technicalities. And when that ended, it became scorched earth. Burn the whole entire world down if we have to, to get Ghislaine Maxwell off. And that's what they're gonna do. The question is, are people going to be receptive to it, meaning the jurors? And if the previous few human trafficking cases that involved big time people have set a precedent, then this strategy is not going to work. This strategy is going to fall on its face. So we'll see a little bit more today which way they're going. But it's gonna be very interesting how it all unfolds and what other witnesses are brought up to the stand today. Again, I looked around to try and find some of the other witnesses. I wasn't able to find out who else will be testifying today. So obviously tonight when we do our evening roundup, we will have all of that. But also I wanted to touch on how Ghislaine Maxwell, yesterday and throughout the proceedings, I guess, has been sketching the court artist as the court artist has been sketching her. How creepy is that? Imagine being this court artist and you're sitting there, you're getting your sketch on, and as you're doing it, Ghislaine Maxwell staring at you, doing a sketch of you. The hell is wrong with this lady? Pay attention to the trial. No more scribbling. You don't need to draw any stick figures, okay? Pay attention to what's going on here at the trial, Ms. Maxwell. Who the hell sits there and sketches the sketch artist? I thought that was a pretty interesting little tidbit from one of the headlines I was reading today, and it made me pause for a second. You would think you have more important things to worry about if you're Ghislaine Maxwell. At this point, you're looking at 80 years of prison. You're being called a human trafficker, a child abuser, Jeffrey Epstein's co conspirator, and you're worried about drawing a sketch of the sketch artist. I would think that you'd be locked into the case. I know I would be. I wouldn't want to miss a damn thing, nevermind dropping sketches of people. So the sketch artist, she went on to say that she has had this happen to her before. And she said that it was during one of these previous trials that she had somebody sketching her while she was doing the sketching. The Parvis trial. Then her comment was, I guess I look more interesting since the lockouts and since COVID which I thought was a pretty funny statement by her. So I guess it's not something that has never happened to her before. But I would think that somebody like Maxwell, who is basically fighting for their lives, would have bigger fish to fry, if you will. One other thing I wanted to touch on before we wrap up this morning and is the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell's supposed husband, Scott Borgerson, hasn't been seen anywhere near this trial. So once again, it leads us back to the original question. Were they even married? What was going on with Scott Borgerson and Ghislaine Maxwell? Obviously, there was some sort of romantic connection there, according to reports, but were they really married? Why were their finances tied up the way they were? And what did Scott Borgerson gain from any of this? It's been a question that I've been wondering for the past few days and I. And also if he was going to end up making an appearance at this trial at all. And it certainly doesn't seem like. Like he's going to. And there's also been reports that he has moved on from Khalain Maxwell. So that whole entire sordid affair between Maxwell and Borgerson, which was an absolute abomination from day one, considering Borgerson left his wife and two kids for Ghislaine Maxwell. Imagine that Thanksgiving conversation on the rebound, on the boomerang. So, mom, we were over at Dad's hanging out with Ghislaine Maxwell. Choke on five pieces of turkey. I mean, really, what sort of maniac leaves his wife for Ghislaine Maxwell, first of all? Second of all, have you ever seen a bigger shit show than this whole entire ordeal? Oh, it's her husband. Her family doesn't know anything about it, but all of a sudden it's her husband, huh? So I would love to be a roach in the rushes and to hear that whole entire origin story, how that all came about. And again, I'm interested to see if this, this dude shows up at all to this trial, but it's kind of looking like he's not going to. And more than likely that whole entire relationship of theirs was some, some kind of sham. I can't really put my finger on it yet what was going on. I don't have enough information about the whole entire deal, but there's always been something goofy about the Borgerson and Ghislaine Maxwell relationship. I'm gonna post a couple of episodes later on. One of them will be about Scott Borgerson and Ghislaine Maxwell. And yeah, it's just one of those things, one of those questions that I've had for the last few days, wondering if this guy was gonna show up to this trial at all. Because leading up to this, during the proceedings for Bailey, Scott Borgerson was, you know, big time involved. So I'm wondering what stopped that. And obviously that's probably one of those loose ends that will never get to tie up. But one of those questions that certainly is at the forefront of my mind. Not that it's a huge deal, right, as far as the specifics of the case, but just one of those unanswered loose ends that I keep wondering about. So we'll have to see if he shows up, we'll see what occurs. We got a long way to go in this trial, folks. A long way to go. And today, obviously, day five, Friday, we'll get our wrap up episode in. As soon as the proceedings end, we'll do the evening, the evening update. And then on Saturday and Sunday you can expect just some context episodes. I'll upload some more stuff to kind of give you an idea of the overall picture of what we're dealing with here. And a few more episodes about whoever we might hear about today in the testimony. Like I said, I have like 1600 episodes that I've been that I've put out over the last three years. So there's pretty much nobody in this case that they're going to touch on so that I haven't done a deep dive into. So as the names pop up, I'll add those episodes for a little more context for those of you who have just found the case or are looking for more information and more than just a scratch of the surface.
