David Boies fits into the Epstein story primarily as one of the most important civil attorneys for Virginia Giuffre and other Epstein survivors. He was not a prosecutor and he was not an investigator with subpoena power, but through civil litigation...

Boss, what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about and why is that do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved. For over a decade we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we Vince. The Lapsed Fan Podcast Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.
Epstein Chronicles Host
What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. David Boies, lawyer for Virginia Roberts and Annie Farmer, has given his first interview since Ghislaine Maxwell has been sentenced. And in this interview with the Independent he talks about how the other people who were involved in all of this and as we all know, there were a lot of other people involved in all of this. How they should be held responsible now that Maxwell has been. And for me there is no other way that this should go when you have as many people involved on a day to day basis as we had involved with Jeffrey Epstein and and Ghislaine Maxwell. There is no way anyone convince can convince me that this isn't a RICO case and that there aren't other people who shouldn't be brought in. Now we have all of the names Virginia has given us already and David Boies and company, they've handed all of that information over to the feds. They did that in 2015. So it's not like the feds didn't have this information like they were waiting for somebody to come forward and and Clue them in on what happened. We all know what happened. And the FBI dropped the ball like it has many, many times before when it comes to severe, serious sexual assault investigations. Just take a look at how they're on the hook right now when it comes to Larry Nassar. This is something that has been pervasive within the FBI. They might not want to address it, but it's very clear for everybody else who's paying attention that the FBI really has dropped the ball time and time again here. And if they don't go after this the way they should and they don't go after all these other people, well, it's just another fumble, isn't it? All right, today, our article is from the Independent. And the author of this article is. Is Bevin Hurley. Headline, Virginia Roberts lawyer on prosecuting powerful abusers. There are many people involved in this beyond Maxwell and Epstein. Virginia Roberts attorney, tells Bevin Hurley. The rich and powerful implicated in the Epstein Maxwell sex trafficking ring deserve to be brought to justice 100%. And if there isn't a grand jury panel imp paneled right now, then I don't know what they're doing because there's as much circumstantial evidence out there to arrest people like indyj and Khan and Sarah, Kel and Vickers as there was to bring in Maxwell. So what are they waiting for? And why have they waited this long? When POWERHOUSE attorney David Boies received the news that Ghislaine Maxwell had been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for child sex trafficking last week, he allowed himself a wry smile. It was very satisfying, Mr. Boyes told the Independent in his first interview since the sentencing. This was an important step. There's no doubt this was an important step. A huge step. It sends a message, too, right? But it's. It only matters if the follow through continues. What do you think whoever's out there engaging in human trafficking right now is going to see the sentence that Ghislaine Maxwell got or that R. Kelly got and say to themselves, oh, well, this isn't worth it. We're just gonna. We're gonna stop because that's not gonna happen. No matter how harsh the sentence is, this needs to be a message to the people who were involved. And the only way that this message can truly be sent like they say they want to send it, is if they bring in the rest of these people. But he also felt a lingering sense of unfinished business about the many wealthy and powerful figures who have not had to answer for their roles in Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell's Decades long pyramid scheme of abuse. I get it. I understand. Now, obviously I'm nowhere near as close to all of this as David Boyes is. Dude's been in the trenches fighting against Epstein and Maxwell for years now. But I understand what he means with the unfinished business part because I feel the same way here on this podcast. There's a lot of unfinished business. And all of these people, like Ndyke and Khan and, and Vickers especially, they definitely need to be brought in because if not, then what has really been accomplished besides, you know, bringing Maxwell to justice, which is great, don't get me wrong, as I've said a million times, definitely a huge part of fixing the problem, but it takes a little bit of the shine and the lacquer off of it if you don't follow through with the next step. Mr. Boyes has for decades been one of America's best known litigants, famously but unsuccessfully representing the Democratic Party candidate Al Gore in a case against George W. Bush to settle the contested 2000 presidential election. The 81 year old represented Annie Farmer and Virginia Roberts in civil lawsuits against Epstein and Maxwell. I remember when all of that was going on in 2000 and you had the whole battle royale about the hanging chad and the armies of lawyers and the lawsuits and all of the days it took to get the election locked in, and still there's a lot of people who don't even believe that those election results were what they are. In 2015, he handed over their entire civil file to the Justice Department in the hopes they would investigate and prosecute Epstein, Maxwell and some of the dozens of other rich and powerful associates named and identified by Ms. Ms. Roberts. And this is, this should, this should have happened back then. All of those people who were directly implicated by Virginia Roberts, especially considering she went on record and stated those names. Those people should all be looked at all under the world's largest microscope. Every one of them should be brought in, put under oath, and they should all have to testify about their relationship with Epstein. And that includes guys like Bill Richardson, because everything we've heard from Virginia leading up to this point has been at least some of the foundational basis for these convictions. And we've seen what's happened to people when there's been defamation lawsuits as well. Those people end up getting charged afterwards. She has shown that she's to be believed, at least in my opinion. So when she's pointing her finger at these other people, why should I believe that they weren't involved? Especially considering that you can put the receipts together and the, the, the paperwork to put them in Epstein's presence a whole bunch of times. So all of those people, every last one of them should be brought in. And if this was a RICO case like it should have been, they all would have been brought in. But so far, only three people have been held criminally liable. They are Epstein, who died by suicide in prison in 2019, allegedly aged 66 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. His close friend Jean Luc Brunel, 76, who in February hanged himself in a Paris jail where he had been held for a year on suspicion of rape of minors and trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation. And Maxwell, convicted in New York on five sex trafficking counts in late December and jailed for 20 years at her sentencing on June 28. But you know, it's just a coincidence that Brunel and Epstein both suffered the same fate, huh? Now with Brunel, doesn't seem as odd the manner of his death. Again, I'm not an expert on French lockups or French prisons, so I'm certainly not somebody who would sit here and tell you with any confidence one way or the other, oh, I'm certain that XXX or X occurred in that French jail. I have no idea. Looks to me like Brunel probably killed himself. Now is that 100% certain? Man, is anything 100% certain in this case besides the fact that these people are scumbags? But with Epstein, boy, oh boy, there sure is a lot there. The cameras, d', Artaglioni, I won't beat a dead horse, but you get my drift. There are many people who were involved in this beyond Maxwell and Epstein and Brunel. Mr. Boyce told the Independent sex trafficking could not have gone on remotely at the scale at which it went on or for the duration that it went on without the collaboration and cooperation of a lot of additional people. These people too should be brought to justice. But as time goes on and the prosecutors don't do anything, I think the chances that actually happens diminishes. Look, he's not wrong. He's not wrong. He's just giving you the truth. We all want to hope and pray that the prosecutors are going to move forward and that the co conspirators are going to be brought to justice. But we also know that the reality that we live in, there's little of that to be had. Many of the famous names who flew on Epstein's so called Lolita Express private jet have come out during civil litigation and at Maxwell's trial. They include Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew. The two former US Presidents have adamantly denied any knowledge of Epstein's crimes, while Prince Andrew settled a civil sexual assault case with Ms. Roberts for a reported 17 million in February. They say 14 million here. That's not the right number, but there are many names who have remained out of the public eye, their identities hidden, hidden in sealed files at the Justice Department. A lot of the materials from our 2015-16 civil actions which the government got are still sealed to the public, Mr. Boyes said. These kinds of records should not be sealed. He is 100% correct about that, especially in this case. If there is any elected official or anyone who's taking or has taken public money involved in any lists such as this, they should be outed right away. They generally fall into two categories, Mr. Boyes says. They are Epstein and Maxwell lieutenants who were involved in recruiting, grooming and supervising the survivors that were trafficked. And then there are the other people who the survivors were trafficked to, which include a lot of rich and powerful people around the world, Mr. Boyes added. They're all heavily protected by cadres of lawyers and PR consultants and, and political consultants. And you've got to have a prosecutor who is really committed to the cause of sex trafficking that is prepared to take that group on. Well, if there's any prosecutor out there who has that courage, you better believe that there are plenty of us who are ready to take the fight to these people. And if you have any kind of interest in later on political office, this is a surefire way to get yourself elected. You go after people like Epstein's associates, you are definitely going to get the attention of people who are paying attention.

And those votes, boy, they'll sure pour in. Imagine that campaign. I'm the man or woman who put away Jeffrey Epstein or Epstein's associates. I mean, I continued the case when no one else wanted to do it, but my career could have been ended. You know, yada yada yada yada. But there's no one out there that Wants to do it. Why? What are all of these prosecutors so scared of? Again, it comes back to the sdny, Right? Like I always say, the folks over at the sdny, they run around and they talk about how they're the greatest at this, they're the greatest at that. They bring in all these convictions. Well, where they at, they bring in convictions if it's, you know, people like maybe Kalief Browder or your cousin. But when it comes to these rich and powerful people like Glenn Dubin, like Les Wexner, like Alan Dershowitz, these people don't get brought to justice. That's only for peons, right? The children of never like us. Mr. Boyce said many of the survivors were easy to ignore as Epstein and Maxwell deliberately sought out vulnerable girls, often from single parent households and difficult financial circumstances. Some had already suffered sexual abuse. More names are coming out all the time. The question is whether that results in people being brought to justice. I'm a little pessimistic at this point. Yeah, he, he's not the only one, and he has all rights to be because it is a cause for pessimism. You would think that when they had the chance here with Maxwell, they would have really extended the scope of what they were going for, but they didn't do it. And at the time, I said a million times, it's very concerning to see the small scope of what their charges are and then come time for sentencing and the trial, people are all shocked that a bunch of names weren't named. Well, if you were paying attention, you knew that this, this case was crafted in that manner. But now that Maxwell has been hemmed up and they've had a. A successful prosecution here, you would think that they'd smell some blood in the water and they'd go harder in the paint, but that is not the case. During Tuesday's sentencing, Judge Allison Nathan named former Epstein associate Sarah Kellen as a knowing participant in the criminal conspiracy. The judge says this, and you mean to tell me there's no prosecutors sitting around right now stuffing their face full of expensive lunch food from Manhattan in the SDNY that wants to go after these people or after Sarah Kellen Vickers? Why is that? Ms. Kellen was identified by survivors at Maxwell's trial as having booked them for massages with Epstein at his Palm beach mansion. The defendant, Maxwell, was Epstein's number two and lady of the house. Judge Nathan said during the sentencing. At some point, Kellen took over some of the defendant's duties. But even after that time, the defendant retained her leadership position, as evidenced by Carolyn's testimony. Yeah, that's how it broke down. She was the number two. I always break it down in terms like the Mafia. You have Epsdean, he's the boss. You have Maxwell, the underboss, and Jean Luc Brunel. Well, that was the consigliere. And underneath all of them are the capos. And Sarah Kellen Vickers is as much of a capo as Mike Francis was. Carolyn was one of the four survivors who testified at Maxwell's trial and was only identified by her first name. Ms. Roberts has claimed she was trafficked to have sex with Harvard University law professor Allen Alan Dershowitz. The allegation has not been proven, and Professor Dershowitz adamantly denies it or any knowledge of other offending. And. And he's not the only one, right? Dershowitz certainly isn't the only one, but he's certainly one that has had the finger pointed at him. But has that affected him? No, of course not. We saw. Mr. I kept my underpants on. Has he lost any status or prestige? Has anyone kicked in his door, stole his cell phone so they can go through records? None of that happened. Instead, the naked volleyball player of Martha's Vineyard finds himself in the spotlight once again, defending Donald Trump this time. So another person who has been credibly accused here has not had to answer any kind of serious questions from people in authority when it comes to what they're being accused of. In 2019, Ms. Roberts sued Professor Dershowitz for defamation and emotional distress, and he since countersued her. The case is ongoing. Professor Dershowitz told the Independent in an interview he had visited Epstein's home in Palm beach and his private island, Little St. James, and never seen any young or naked women. It was a deep, dark secret. Everything he did in part in a part of the house which was off limits to anybody. He said nobody knew any of this. Nobody would have associated with Epstein if we had known any of this. Bro, shut up. You're over there getting massages by who the hell knows who at his house. Mr. I kept my underpants on Dershowitz. And we all know what massage was synonymous for over in the world of Epstein. So Dershowitz is another one, and I'm glad he's going to get outed here. In this defamation case, Dershowitz said he saw pictures on the walls of the Palm beach mansion of the billionaire with famous people, including Bill Clinton and Fidel Castro. Ah. A man accused of sexual crimes. And the dictator. Fantastic company. He had me on the Wall. I was one of the famous people, and believe me, I was fully dressed. You know, he likes. He makes a joke of it. Like anyone thinks he's funny, like his old ass is a comedian or something. Bro, the only thing funny is that you think people actually believe you. That's what's funny. He said he believed Maxwell's sentence and conviction was unjust. Of course he did. Birds of a feather and all right. Mr. Boyce claimed it was stretching credulity for anyone in Epstein's orbit to maintain. They couldn't have known what was going on. Everybody who was associated with the survivors has heard reams of testimony of about how obvious it was what Epstein was doing. Survivor after survivor and law enforcement officers have testified how there were all these topless girls at the swimming pool and naked pictures of girls around the house. It was not something that people could miss. No, it wasn't. He had pieces, chess pieces, carved into the likeness of his employees, naked and shit. He had pictures of gross ass, skank ass, Ghislaine Maxwell's busted ass all over the walls, naked and shit with. Do you mean you missed it? Mr. Boy's chairman and managing partner at Boys, Schiller Flexner typically charges up to $2,000 an hour for his services. But he and fellow managing partner Sigrid McAuley represented Ms. Roberts free of charge throughout their pursuit of Maxwell and Epstein. And that's great. That's good that they did that. But in reality, we know that they also did it to help their own profile. They know that moving forward, this is good for them. They win this case against these people, bang, they're gonna make a ton of dough. And the same goes for a prosecutor. And that's why it's so crazy to me that not one of these prosecutors, even a junior prosecutor, hasn't stepped up to the plate and said, look, give me that whole entire caseload and let me slam these fools in court. On Tuesday, Ms. McCauley read a Survivor Impact Statement from Ms. Roberts with which she described Maxwell as a wolf in sheep's clothing. You could have put an end to the rapes, the molestations, the sickening manipulations that you arranged, witnessed, and even took part in. You could have called the authorities and reported that you were part of something awful. And she didn't. Right. And if you don't do that, then what? You're complicit? Oh, I was scared. I was held against my will. Okay, well, what happens when Epstein is gone from your life and. And you still have not come Forward. Speculation that Maxwell could flip on her former associates in order to receive a reduced sentence has never eventuated. Her brother Ian Maxwell told the Sunday Times in January that she had no plans to pursue a plea deal or offer up information about who else was involved. Maxwell has maintained her innocence and plans to appeal the verdict and the sentence. The independent contacted the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York to ask if it plans to prosecute anyone else in relation to the conspiracy and if not, whether it would unseal any records related to the case. Public affairs chief Nicholas Biase declined to comment. Oh, of course that's what they'll say. Oh, it's an ongoing investigation. You can't have any of these files. You know, you, the taxpayer. So if this is not an ongoing investigation, still, and they're not going after the co conspirators, they need to turn over and unseal every file that they have, and then let's see what's what. My guess is, unfortunately, folks, they won't do either. All right, that's going to do it. Commentator on Dershowitz-Boies Lawsuit
So, anyway, tonight we're gonna jump over and we're gonna actually discuss what we came here to discuss, which is Jeffrey Epstein and our good friend Alan. I don't take my underpants off, so it's all good if I get a massage from an underage girl at my pedophile buddy Jeffrey Epstein's house. Dershowitz has filed a defamation suit against David Boies. And we know that in November, David Boies filed a defamation suit against Alan Dershowitz. So, yeah, look, the battle is on between Dershowitz and David Boies. Right? I know David Boies is a very competent lawyer. I know that he knows what he's doing. But in fights like this against guys like Dershowitz, it's gonna be a. Definitely, it's gonna be a street fight. So hopefully it does not impact the case. You know, the case of the, the, the survivors, hopefully it doesn't impact them negatively and, you know, make them jump through more hurdles. But, but at this stage, at this point in the game, you had to figure that Dershowitz would be countering with something like this. And you would have to. You had to think that Dershowitz, who just, he's in love with filing suits and countersuits, etc. Etc. You knew that he was definitely going to go after boys. Basically what he's doing here is trying to destroy boys credibility. So that boys, and Schiller and Flexner, the, the, the group representing a lot of these survivors, so, so that they look like they don't know what they're doing. So they look like Saul Goodman, basically, when in reality we know that it's Dershowitz who is the absolute and utter, you know, skeevats in this whole entire situation. All right, so the article is from the hill.com the headline, Dershowitz files defamation suit against boys Alleging extortion. The article was written by Justine Coleman. Attorney Alan Dershowitz filed a defamation countersuit against fellow lawyer David Boies, claiming Boies, his law firm and Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts attempted to extort money from rich and powerful men for private settlements. Of course, that's his defense, right? Oh, it's all about the money. That's all they care about. Virginia Roberts only wants to get paid. Blah, blah, blah. That's what the typical first salvo you always see from these guys, right? They always fire one across the bow and this is always the one they fire. Oh, it's all a money scheme. It's a get rich scheme. When in reality it's a justice thing. All right? It's not a scheme, it's not a plot. All right? This is justice, Alan Dershowitz, and it's coming for you eventually, buddy. Because in my opinion. Right, in my opinion, you know exactly what you did, Mr. Dershowitz. You know exactly what you did. And you're using the judicial system to murky, to make the waters more murky and to obfuscate. Because that's how you roll. That's. That's what you do. You know every single loophole. You're supposedly this big, high powered attorney, but really you're just, you know, an everyday shyster. All right, A snake oil salesman, basically. That's my opinion of you, Alan Dershowitz, and there's no way you're ever going to change that. You're just a smarmy sob. The suit filed the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan alleges intentional infliction of emotional distress and, and extortion. It names billionaire Leslie Wexner as one of the alleged extortion targets. Oh, yeah, because Wexner, Wexner is being extorted in this whole matter that's exactly what's happening. Maybe extorted by your buddy Jeffrey Epstein. Maybe he was extorted by him, but extorted by these girls. You mean the girls that he allowed, like. Like Maria Farmer, right? That he allowed her to be abused on his property. She. He's getting extorted. No, sorry, Mr. Wexner, no one's buying your B.S. all right? Nobody is buying it. Wex was not extorted. Nobody extorted you, Dershowitz. You know what you did. You know that you were there with underage girls. You know that you were receiving massages in your tighty whities. You know what Virginia Roberts is saying about you is true, sir, And I keep saying it. I've. The way the credible accusations that are being leveled at these people are very, very hard to ignore. You have to honestly be just purposefully ignoring them, all right? Because there is no way in hell that all of this stuff and all of these things that Virginia Roberts has said and provided with evidence. You know, you have pilots who have. Who said that he's. They seen her with him. You have, you know, the. The girl that came out that said, of course I saw Prince Andrew at the club with her. It's just so much evidence, right? At this point, we've seen so much evidence that is proving what Virginia Roberts has said is to be true, that it's all we have from Dershowitz is his. His word. Oh, well, I've never done any of this.

I'll prove it. I'll prove it. And this is for years and years and years and still no proof. And now he files this lawsuit and he's bringing up people like Leslie Wexner in it. The lawsuit comes in response to boy's suit against Dershowitz that he filed in November and accused the attorney of disparaging boy's law firm, Boy Schiller Flexner llp, by calling it the law firm of extortion, subordination of perjury and other crimes. In a Washington Post interview, the Wall Street Journal reported. So what we have here are dueling lawsuits from two high profile attorneys. And they're, like I said, it's a knife fight with these guys. Dershowitz and Dershowitz and Boyes are going for the jugular here. There's not going to be any kind of, you know, amiable settlement in this case, in my opinion. I think that there's been too much bloodshed. Not really, but you know what I mean in the courtroom. And there's been way too many accusations level and things said one way and the other for this to ever end besides in a courtroom being litigated. Because I think that's where this is going, and I hope it does, because then we get to see discovery. And we all know that Dershowitz does not want discovery in this case. All right? He's suing these people because he does not want to go to trial. He's trying to stop them, he's trying to intimidate them, and it's not going to work. I highly doubt David Boies is intimidated by Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz alleges in the countersuit that boy's firm said it would reveal allegations against Wexner, the CEO of Victoria's Secret, parent Victoria's Secret's parent company, if the company didn't provide a settlement. Epstein was Wexner's money manager. Wexner declined to comment to the Journal, reiterating that he wasn't aware of Epstein's criminal behavior. And I believe I also read somewhere, but I don't have it in front of me to be sourced right now, but I believe that I read somewhere that Wexner said that he. His. His camp said that he had. He had never been extorted or anything like that. So again, it calls into question what Dershowitz is saying here. I don't. I don't find Dershowitz credible, folks. All right? I find him smarmy. I find them to be. If it wasn't for his, you know, his extreme knowledge of the Constitution, I don't think that we'd ever have to see this guy's face ever again. And furthermore, I'm not too impressed with his. His interpretation of the Constitution, for that matter. Okay, he's not this all star that everybody makes him out to be, in my opinion. I don't understand why everybody's so scared of him. But it's nice to see that David Boies is going after him and he is not backing down. Dershowitz's suit also follows from Robert's allegations that he assaulted her as a teenager when Epstein recruited. Recruited her. No, when Epstein trafficked her for his sex trafficking scheme. The attorney who argued against President Trump's removal in the Senate has denied those accusations, calling Roberts a certified complete, total liar. What a piece of shit this guy is, huh? To come out and say that sort of thing. It's no wonder that Virginia dropped a defamation lawsuit on his ass, too. He deserves it. He deserves it. All right? Alan Dershowitz has spent his life defending complete and utter scumbags. And that's not the problem, folks. It's the way he defends them that's the problem. It's the way that he gets these deals in the back room that's the problem. All right? Nobody should get a deal like Jeffrey Epstein got. And nobody, I mean nobody should get a non prosecution agreement the way he got either. An umbrella non prosecution agreement, please. And that was worked out, in my opinion, because Dershowitz knew his ass was on the line and he needed another layer of protection in case everybody ratted on him. And I still hope that occurs. I really hope that they go after all his lieutenants, all of Epstein's lieutenants, the Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse and Ghislaine Maxwell, and they bring him in and they put the screws to them and they get them to rat on all of these scumbag sons of bitches and not only rat, but to testify against them. Boy, would that be great. Roberts filed a defamation suit against Dershowitz in April because of these comments. Boyes represented her for the case until a judge ruled he and his partners needed to be taken off the case due to their. Their expected testimony, according to the Journal. And again, more legal maneuvering by Dershowitz. All right? That's why he filed the suit against the lawyers as well, because he wanted to get them out of the picture. He didn't want to deal with David Boies. He didn't want to deal with Flexner. He didn't want to deal with anyone at the firm. So what he tried to do was just get him erased from the equation. And you know what? Again, Alan Dershowitz finds a way to get his way. Dershowitz told the Hill that he is looking Forward to putting boys on trial for the role he played in the false accusations against me. I am also looking forward to putting his entire history of questionable legal. Legal ethics on trial and his pattern of practicing law. He said, I'm sorry. I could not help myself but laugh through that. For Alan Dershowitz to call anyone's le. Anyone's legal ethics questionable is laughable at best. All right, we know what you are, Mr. Dershowitz. We know that you went over to Jeffrey Epstein's house and you received massages.

Commentator on Dershowitz-Boies Lawsuit
We know what Virginia Roberts has said about you. Don't come over here and talk like you're ethical. It's just like Andrew about how honorable he is. Yeah, okay. You're real ethical, Mr. Dershowitz. You're just, you know, the pillar of what an ethical person should look like. What an absolute clown, folks. What an absolute and utter clown. He said on tape that he knew his client was wrong, simply wrong in accusing me. And yet, even after saying that, he submitted false affidavits from her, he added. Boies did not immediately return a request for comment. Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in August after being held on sex crimes charges. New York city officials ruled his death suicide. Allegedly, Dershowitz helped Epstein obtain an 18 month sentence in 2008. 18 months, huh? Nah, a little bit less than that, folks. All right? You know, with day trips to go and, you know, abuse other girls, go to his office, go and diddle himself. Whatever it is this sick bastard wanted to do, he was able to do it because the other sick bastard. I kept my underwear on. Dershowitz facilitated it all. Talk about enabling, folks, right? Talk about the. The whole entire monster stinks from the top, all right? This whole entire cabal of sick bastards needs to be held accountable. And Dershowitz and his lawsuits, it's all going to catch up to him eventually, right? Eventually it's going to catch up to him. He's going to file one of these lawsuits, it's going to go to discovery, and he's going to get egg smashed all over his face. And also, folks, I have a funny feeling that his name is going to be all over the documents that get released eventually. Because everybody who's following this case understands that Epstein. I mean, excuse me, that Dershowitz had a. Had a very, very close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And everybody understands that Dershowitz saw things, okay? You couldn't be around Epstein as much as Dershowitz was and not see things, folks. You're not fooling anyone, Alan. I Kept my underwear on. Dershowitz, you're not fooling anyone. What's up, everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to Prince Andrew, the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, I can't help but to shake my head and laugh every time I see this idiot's name. Now, look, if he wasn't guilty of what he was accused of, he should have fought that tooth and nail all the way to the very end, because that's what an innocent man would do. Would you just accept the fact that somebody's out here saying this about you and not defend yourself at all in court? Now, if you're guilty or you think there's a chance that you might get outed, well, yeah, take the settlement. But for somebody like Prince Andrew, it was never a good idea to take this settlement, especially after all of the posturing. Remember, he told us how he was going to clear his name, how he was ready to fight these allegations in court, and all of the rest of the nonsense that we heard from this guy constantly. Well, none of that came to pass. And instead what he did was accept the settlement without accepting liability. But if we're all being honest, why would a man like Prince Andrew accept such a financial slap in the grill if he never even met Virginia Roberts? Now, people will say it was just so he could avoid embarrassing his mom and the royal family. I don't buy that for a second. If he was worried about embarrassing his mother and the royal family, this idiot would have behaved in the manner befitting of a prince, and he never did. So all of a sudden, he had a come to Jesus moment where he cares about the royal family and his mom. Stop it. This man cared about himself, and that is it. And from all of the buffoonery I've seen recently, that still seems to be the case. Today we have an article from Daily Mail. And in this article, David Boys talks about Prince Andrew and the acceptance of this settlement. Headline, exclusive. Prince Andrew just wanted out. How the Duke of York went from stonewalling to reaching reported $12 million settlement with Virginia Roberts in less than a week to avoid deposition and trial. Victim's lawyer reveals. And this article was authored by Daniel Bates. And none of these people, like Prince Andrew or Jeff Staley or Glenn Dubin or Bill Richardson or any of them want to get to a point where it's deposition time, because that's where the rubber meets the road. And they realize that they're in serious jeopardy if they don't tell the truth while they're under oath. And we've seen with Maxwell how that played out for her after she was slapped with two charges of perjury for lying during the defamation trial. So these guys are all trying to avoid that at all costs. And if you're guilty or you have something to hide, then I can understand why. But if you're somebody who's innocent, like a lot of these people want to tell us, well, shouldn't you be stepping up to the plate and saying, I'm ready to see you in court, what's up? But none of them have done that well besides Alan Dershowitz. And for him, it seems to have worked out at least decently, considering Virginia has said that she misremembers now, but the rest of these dudes, nobody has stepped up, nobody has tried to defend themselves in court, and certainly nobody has provided any receipts. So it's one thing to bandy about and talk about how innocent you are, but it's a whole other thing when you refuse to do it in a court of law. The lawyer for Prince Andrew's accuser, Virginia Roberts, has revealed details of the multi million dollar settlement between his client and the Duke of York for the first time. And let's not fool ourselves and think that David Boies and his law firm didn't benefit greatly from all of this. They did. Now, they might not have been charging their clients any money, but they knew they were going to get paid on the settlement end of it. And they were also going to build some goodwill amongst people taking on a guy like Jeffrey Epstein. That's how it works for these big law firms. And that's why they took all of these clients pro bono. It's not because they're altruistic. Attorney David Boyes told DailyMail.com that Prince Andrew went from stonewalling to reaching a deal in less than a week because he just wanted out. But Andrew felt substantial discomfort at having to pay a reported $12 million. Boy said, yeah, I could see that. $12 million, that's a lot of dough, especially a lot of dough for something that you're not responsible for. You know, Prince Andrew telling us he didn't do it. He has no idea what anyone's talking about, yet he's coming out of the pocket for 12 million fazuls. So something doesn't compute with me here. Something's getting lost in the translation. Or maybe I'm just a stupid moron, but if it was me, I wouldn't pay anyone, not one single cent if I was innocent. Boyce thinks Andrew can salvage his reputation, but only if he admits his sin by acknowledging wrongdoing in order for the public to forgive him. I highly doubt that. I think that ship has already sailed to never come backistan. Does anyone ever really think that Prince Andrew is going to be back in public life? Unless of course he shows up with some receipts and proves what he has to say. If he has receipts, that proves that Virginia Roberts is lying about him, well then maybe. But besides that, I don't care what kind of image campaign you try to launch. Nobody wants you back in public life and the taxpayers of the UK especially. The comments come amid reports that the Duke believes he should have fought the claims by Roberts that he had sex with her three times when she was a 17 year old victim of the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein hey guys, Lady Luck here.

Look, I don't buy that for a minute, okay? He had the best representation money can buy. It doesn't get better than than Andrew Brettler and Marty Singer. None of these other joker ass lawyers that you see all the time out here talking about how great they are, yet they never get anyone off. Meanwhile, Singer and Brettler are over here making all kinds of moves out in Hollywood. These are the lawyers that everybody wants to hire and Prince Andrew had them retain them and they represented him. So I don't want to hear nonsense about how he didn't have proper legal representation or how he was getting bad advice. None of that occurred. Prince Andrew knew he was in jeopardy and now that that jeopardy is gone, meaning the lawsuit, he's out here posturing again and acting the fool. When the case was settled In February of 2022, Andrew issued a joint statement with Roberts, 39, who is a mother of three living in Australia under her married name. The statement said that Andrew never intended to malign Ms. Roberts character and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks. But he did not apologize. A gag order remained in effect for a year. And now Roberts is said to be writing a memoir. Speaking to DailyMail.com, boyce said that a TV interview wouldn't help Andrew's case, especially after the prince's disastrous BBC interview in 2019. Does anyone really think that another interview is the way to go for Joe Exotic of the Windsor family? I mean, this guy's lucky that he can pair his socks in the morning, never mind get up there with a seasoned interviewer and give a bang up job. More like another car crash is incoming and. And certainly more embarrassment for the Royal Family as a whole. However, the lawyer does believe that a memoir might help his reputation, depending on what it said. I believe both as a matter of religious faith and human compassion in the possibility of redemption. I would not put Prince Andrew or any other child of God beyond the possibility of redemption. But redemption has to begin with the admission of sin, and thus far he has been disinclined to do that. I think that's always the first step. Yeah, I don't agree with any of that. Sorry. Some people can't be redeemed. And you would think that a lawyer like David Boies would know better than thinking that certain people can be redeemed. Look, if you're out there molesting kids, you can't be redeemed. You're wired wrong, you're defective, and you need to be buried underneath the prison. The lawsuit against Andrew led to grimly comical scenes as representatives of Boies tried repeatedly to serve the Duke with legal papers at Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he lives. A US judge eventually ruled that Andrew had been served after Boies made a formal application to the British government for help in getting him the paperwork. According to Boies, Andrew went from stonewalling us to a deal in four or five days, followed by mediation for another day or two. The Duke changed his mind after suffering a series of legal losses, including losing his motion to dismiss and the judge ordering him to sit for a deposition. And that's what it was all about. He didn't want to sit for that deposition. All this other stuff he's talking about is absolute nonsense. A week before Andrew was due to be deposed, the case was settled. Boy said, from our side, we said there had to be a substantial amount of money and, and there had to be an acceptable statement from Prince Andrew. Those were really the two initial stumbling blocks. And they were resolved within a few hours of each Other over a series of zoom meetings and phone calls with Andrew's lawyers. The rest of the agreement was hashed out, Boyd said. Prince Andrew just wanted out. He was realistic enough to know to not to have any demands. He just wanted to pay not very much money and didn't want to acknowledge Virginia or what he'd done and what his position was that Virginia had made all this up and wasn't really a victim. He claimed he didn't know anything about Epstein's sex trafficking and had nothing to apologize for. As well as the legal defeats. Boyes credits Andrew's change with him bringing in experienced counsel in the United States, referring to Andrew Brettler, who at the time was worked for Lav and Singer, the law firm with a reputation for helping Hollywood stars make their problems disappear. 100% Brettler is the man. I'm telling you right now, if you talk to anybody in the know, that's what they'll tell you. If you're somebody who's famous and you think somebody's going after you, they're going to extort you. Whatever you go to Brettler and Brett makes that go away and he couldn't work his magic here. So that should tell you everything you need to know. Brettler was less reluctant to talk about the realities than maybe some of his UK Council Boy said. The change in mood was the most dramatic in Boy's entire career, he said, adding, I can't think of a turnaround that changed as dramatically in such a short time as this one did, he said. I have a sense that Andrew probably had mixed emotions. I suspect there was a substantial amount of relief but also a substantial amount of discomfort as to what he acknowledged and the amount of money he had to pay. Boyes declined to comment on the amount of money the Duke paid to Roberts, adding, that was one area Andrew's lawyers insisted he remained quiet, about to avoid further embarrassment. Well, yeah, look, the last thing you want to know or say is that you gave a big ass bag of dough to somebody who you never even met. According to you, makes you look like an absolute and utter buffoon. Not that Prince Andrew needed any help in that regard. Despite reports that Andrew wants to try and overturn the settlement, Boy scorn the idea, he said. If they want to get out of the settlement, all they have to do is call me and let me take Andrew's deposition and go to trial. Boy is also representing an unnamed woman called Jane DOE In a U.S. lawsuit against American bank JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Dow alleges the banks facilitated Epstein sex trafficking operation by ignoring red flags about his finances. The case is being keenly watched in the UK and the US as JP Morgan former chief executive Jeff Staley later joined the London based Barclays bank before being forced out in 2021. Over his links to Epstein, Boyce said that he felt that a civil case was not the only remedy that Staley should be facing. He said, my view is that prosecutors should have proceeded against a number of people beyond Epstein and Maxwell. Yeah, no doubt about that. And it's real unfortunate and cowardly that the government refuses to go after any of these co conspirators. Epstein and Maxwell could not have engaged in the sex trafficking they did in the scope and scale for as many years that they did without the support and collaboration of a lot of people. And I think it's a miscarriage of justice that those people are not being held to account. Andrew's US lawyers declined to comment, and a lawyer for Staley did not respond to her request for comment. And I found it interesting that Boyce said if they want out of the settlement, it's easy. Give him a call and he can sit down and be deposed. So every time you hear Prince Andrew talking about he wants to get out of the settlement, he thinks it's unfair, whatever, yada yada, yada. Well, remember that all he has to do is call David Boyes so that he can sit for a deposition, so that he has a chance to defend himself like he keeps saying he wants to do. But for some reason, folks, I highly doubt that's ever going to occur. And instead what we'll hear is more bellyaching, more whining, and certainly more complaining from the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family and the four people who still support him. All right, folks, that's gonna do it for this one. All of the information that goes with the episode can be found in the description box.

Podcast: The Epstein Chronicles
Host: Bobby Capucci
Date: June 8, 2026
This mega episode focuses on David Boies, the prominent attorney for Jeffrey Epstein survivors Virginia Roberts (Giuffre) and Annie Farmer, and examines his complex position in the sprawling Epstein web. Using recent interviews with Boies and new media reports, host Bobby Capucci critiques the ongoing failures of U.S. authorities to fully prosecute powerful Epstein associates. The show also covers dueling lawsuits involving Boies and Alan Dershowitz, Prince Andrew’s settlement with Roberts, and why so many high-status individuals linked to Epstein remain untouched by law enforcement.
Tone: Unfiltered, blunt, and deeply skeptical of legal and governmental establishments, with Capucci’s trademark directness and dark humor.
[01:31 - 07:20]
“There are many people involved in this beyond Maxwell and Epstein...Sex trafficking could not have gone on remotely at the scale at which it went on or for the duration that it went on without the collaboration and cooperation of a lot of additional people. These people too should be brought to justice.” [10:56, paraphrased]
“There is no way anyone can convince me that this isn’t a RICO case.” [03:01]
Memorable Moment:
Capucci skewers the claim that justice is being served, repeatedly referencing the unprosecuted associates and noting,
“If this was a RICO case like it should have been, they all would have been brought in. But so far, only three people have been held criminally liable.” [07:45]
[08:00 - 14:10]
“These kinds of records should not be sealed.” [11:58]
“That’s only for peons, right? The children of never like us.” [14:37]
[14:12 - 17:59]
“I’m a little pessimistic at this point.” [15:45]
[24:08 - 37:00]
“He’s suing these people because he does not want to go to trial. He’s trying to stop them, he’s trying to intimidate them, and it’s not going to work.” [30:10]
Notable Quote (on Wexner, Dershowitz, and legal ethics):
“He’s not this all star that everybody makes him out to be, in my opinion. I don’t understand why everybody’s so scared of him. But it’s nice to see that David Boies is going after him and he is not backing down.” [32:45]
[38:00 - 44:31]
“If he wasn’t guilty of what he was accused of, he should have fought that tooth and nail all the way to the very end, because that’s what an innocent man would do.” [38:17]
“Prince Andrew just wanted out. He was realistic enough to know…he just wanted to pay not very much money and didn’t want to acknowledge Virginia or what he’d done...” [43:20]
“If they want to get out of the settlement, all they have to do is call me and let me take Andrew’s deposition and go to trial.” [Within 43:40]
[44:31 - 53:19]
“Epstein and Maxwell could not have engaged in the sex trafficking they did in the scope and scale for as many years that they did without the support and collaboration of a lot of people. And I think it’s a miscarriage of justice that those people are not being held to account.” [Approx. 51:20]
The episode moves from the immediate aftermath of Maxwell’s sentencing, to criticisms of law enforcement and judicial inaction regarding high-level Epstein associates, to the complicated legal warfare between Boies and Dershowitz, and ends on the spectacle of Prince Andrew’s self-preserving settlement. Throughout, Capucci blends his outrage with gallows humor and legal analysis, amplifying Boies’ public statements as calls to action—against both the system’s inertia and the fierce resistance of the powerful.
For new listeners:
This episode delivers in-depth coverage, strong investigative commentary, and a no-holds-barred attitude. It’s a comprehensive look at the legal, social, and moral dynamics of one of the most far-reaching scandals of our time.
