Jeffrey Epstein Paris probe heats up as three victims speak with officials after claims after claims pedophile abused French triplets 12 who were sold by their parents and given to him as a birthday gift. If that doesn't induce vomiting, I don't know what does. It's gross to even read a headline like that. It honestly makes me so aggravated and so angry to read stuff like that. I have to take a minute and calm myself down because there is no place on this planet where a man should be providing someone with three women of any age, never mind 12 year old girls, as a present. This article was written by Reuters and Chris Pleasance for Mail Online. And like I said folks, remember this is an older article. This article is from September 11, 2019. It comes after Heights opened a preliminary investigation last month into whether the billionaire pedophile had committed sex crimes on French territory or against any underage French victims. Well, we know that he has. We know for a fact that Jeffrey Epstein's Reign of Terror reached France. We know that him and Jean Luc Brunel were busy doing their thing in France when. We know that Brunel has had several allegations brought against him. We know that he liked to use Date rape drugs. We know that he sexually assaulted people and we know that he raped models. We also know that he procured girls for Jeffrey Epstein. It also comes after Virginia Roberts, Epstein's most high profile accuser, claimed that Epstein had 12 year old French triplets flown from France to Miami so he could abuse them as a birthday present. Let that sink in, folks, okay? This isn't just some hearsay. This isn't just some Joe Schmo off the street saying this. This is Virginia Roberts saying this, okay? The most credible of credible accusers maybe I have ever researched or read about is not only saying that she was abused by Epstein and his pack of disgusting morons. No. She is also saying that these three 12 year old French girls were flown in. Just think about it for a minute, okay? They were flown in by Jean Luc Brunel from France after being purchased from their poor parents, okay? And when I say poor, I'm talking about economically here. I'm not saying poor as in, oh, I feel bad for them. Because even if you're broke as hell, poor as poor could be, you should never, ever, ever sell your children. I mean, I think. I don't even think I shouldn't have to say that, right? But I guess I do. The circumstances surrounding you mean nothing to me. You should never sell your children. I don't even. I can't even comprehend that kind of thing. I can't even wrap my mind around that. Roberts made the claims in a 2015 lawsuit that was unsealed last month in which she said the girls were supplied to Epstein by Jean Luc Brunel, a French model scout who was a close associate of his. Again, close associate doesn't even do justice. The relationship that these two had, I've said it once and I'll say it a million times. This criminal enterprise was headed by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Epstein was the boss out front, right? He was considered the boss. He was the. The godfather. So to say, he was the one that was making the decisions according to the public. Behind the scenes, we all know that Ghislaine Maxwell was pulling the strings. We all know that she was the br behind the operation. And Jean Luc Brunel, oh well, he was their number one associate. He was one of the top procures. He had the modeling agency, MC2. Look, folks, Jean Luc Brunel was a very big part of this trafficking ring. And the fact that he is still in hiding, the fact that nobody has seen him as well, it just makes you think, huh? How is it that Jeffrey Epstein's dead. The four, the core four, have immunity. And now you have Ghislaine Maxwell and Jean Luc Brunel. His two underbosses are in the wind. How does that even occur in the year 2020, when we can find terrorists hiding in a cave in Tora Bora in Afghanistan? We can't find Jean Luc Brunel or Ghislaine Maxwell. Makes you question are they even being looked for? I don't think they are. Folks. At this point I have a hard time believing that Jean Luc Brunel is being searched for and they can't find him. How is that even possible? It is an impossibility for me to even believe that this man cannot be found. He's not some super spy, he's not some asset of intelligence. Or is he? That would be the only explanation for this, right? Is if he's being protected by somebody. But I'll leave that up to you to decide. I don't have any concrete evidence pointing that he's under anyone's protection at this point. But considering what we've seen so far around the Epstein trafficking ring and around those people who had leadership roles, well, what other conclusion can we come to? Jeffrey bragged after he met them that they were 12 year olds and flown over from France because they're really poor over there and their parents needed money or whatever the case is and they were absolutely free to stay and flew out. Robert said it, that it just breaks my heart, folks. It honestly breaks my heart. I want to get really mad right now and get fired up and rage and yell and scream, but I just, I feel so bad for these three 12 year old girls. Imagine, just put yourself in their shoes for a second, okay? You're a 12 year old girl, this Jean Luc Brunel character shows up at your house. You live in some dirt poor area of France. I'm not familiar with France. I don't know where the dirt poor areas are. But you live in some dirt poor poor area of France. Fifteen of you in a one bedroom apartment or a house or whatever it is they live over. They live in over there, a flat or a cottage or whatever it is. And this guy shows up and he sits down with your parents and they start talking and negotiating, whatever it may be. Your parents bring you out for inspection like you're a horse or a cow or something. This guy's inspecting you, whatever he does. Checking teeth, I have no idea what the process is. Does his inspection says, all right, this is perfect, I'm going to take These kids, I'll buy them from you, buys them from their parents, packs them up on a plane and ships them over to Jeffrey Epstein. Now imagine what was going through these 12 year old girls mind this whole entire time. Think about it for a minute, just try and put yourself in their shoes. I know it's almost impossible to do that, but imagine what, what sort of trauma that these young girls have to live with now for the rest of their lives, what they went through at the hands of Jean Luc Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein. And we all know that Jeffrey Epstein wasn't a guy that was just hoarding all of these young girls himself. He was passing them out to his friends. So who else was hanging out at the time that these 12 year old girls were around? This is information that we need to, we need to find out and I think that we need to know who else was around when these 12 year old girls were brought to Jeffrey Epstein. Because anybody that was, was there at the time needs to be subpoenaed right away. It's not even, it's, it's a rush at this point, stat. She said she saw the three girls with her own eyes and that Epstein had repeatedly described to her how the girls had massaged him and performed oral sex on him. They were flown back to France the next day. Yo, this, that it's, this is disgusting.
C
Okay?
B
This is disgusting to me. And also not only put yourself in the shoes of these, these young ladies, these young girls, I shouldn't even say ladies, these little girls who were flown into France to have sex with Epstein, to be abused by Epstein and God knows who else and then flew back to France. Well, think about being Virginia Roberts. Think about what, what, what she's going through. She was there, she saw this with her own eyes. She saw just about everything Jeffrey Epstein was up to. And nobody believed her for all of these years. Nobody believed her for all of these years. Think about the weight, think about the burden that she has carried throughout the years, folks. And then ask yourself, has there ever been a braver woman to come forward and accuse people than Virginia Roberts? I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find one. She should be up for all kinds of awards for her bravery, for the way she's come forward, for the way she stood tall with her shoulders back, with her head back and her shoulders straight. Because guess what folks, it's not easy to step forward and fight people like this and battle people like this. These are very, very strong, very evil people. People with connections that would make your Head spin. And Virginia Roberts stepped forward at great, great, great harm to herself and told these people enough is enough. And that we can't understate, that we can't, there's not enough we can say about how brave that was. And for her, for Virginia to have to live through all these years with not only the abuse that she suffered, but to live with the burden of knowing that other people were being abused as well. And she couldn't help them either. And it just has to be. I can't even imagine the burden. I honestly cannot even imagine the burden. Roberts also claimed that Brunel had agreed to supply girls for Epstein to abuse in return for a one million dollar investment to help launch his Miami based modeling firm, MC2. And MC2 is a modeling firm that we're going to get into, folks. We're really going to dig deep into this MC2 firm at some point because there's a lot of connections here and, and I know people aren't really hip to all of the connections and the spiderwebs and the way that all of this connects. And we're gonna try and make heads or tails of it throughout this whole entire lockdown that everybody's on. We have plenty of time now to do that. So I'm gonna try and make heads of tails of all of it and make the connections because it's very important that we see it, it's very important that we add it here to the catalog and that we follow up on this situation in particular with Jean Luc Brunel, because it's like he's fallen out of the public view at this point. There's no more talk about him in the media. There's no more talk about him. You know, even in some of the independent media, there's no stories about Jean Luc Brunel. So we're going to change that. We're going to do a full court press on Jean Luc Brunel here as well as the core four over the next couple of weeks and maybe even one article a day about Jean Luc Brunel until we've exhausted all the articles that there are to read. Because this man needs to be put on blast. This man needs to be brought to justice and this man needs to be held accountable for what he has done. It is not clear whether whether the three people who have come forward to French prosecutors and the triplets are one in the same. I hope they are. French lawyers are now appealing for more potential victims to come forward. If you're listening to the podcast and you're in France. And I know that some of you are. I think it's roughly around 2.5% of the audience is based in France. And you know somebody who has been affected by Jeffrey Epstein, or you are somebody who has been assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein, please come forward. This is the time. This is the time for you to come forward and go on record. This is the time for you to help bring down these dirty sons of bitches who did these dastardly things to you. And you're not alone. You are not alone. It's not just me who's out here talking about, about having your back and standing shoulder to shoulder with you. There are thousands and hundreds of thousands of people that feel the same way. And, you know, if you're. If you're somebody who has been affected by Jeffrey Epstein in France, please come forward and tell your story. Because the more information and the more allegations that are brought forward, the quicker we were going to be able to bring somebody like Jean Luc Brunel under heel and get him arrested. Because this man, he's still running around right now. Nobody even knows where he is. What's he up to? What exactly is this man up to? Nobody knows. And I find it uncomfortable and disgusting to think that this man is still running around free. Epstein was arrested on July 6th in New Jersey after his private jet landed on a flight from Paris from where he had a residence on Avenue Falk, one of the French capital's most exclusive addresses. He pleaded not guilty to US Charges of sex trafficking involving dozens of underage girls as young as 14. Epstein died on August 10 in his jail cell in Manhattan at the age of 66. An autopsy report concluded he hanged himself. Nah. Debatable at best. Lawyers who represented Epstein in his US Criminal case could not immediately be reached for comment on the French move. A spokesman for federal prosecutors in Manhattan declined to comment on the French investigation. Of course they did. Investigators in New York don't want to comment on anything except for putting Andrew on blast in public for some odd reason. Look, I get it. I understand the strategy of all of that. But we need these investigators in New York, Berman, specifically, to be more hands on, to be more proactive, to be more productive. You know, they set up task force, they'll set up a whole entire task force to go after prostitution rings and go after suspected trafficking operations. Right? And perfect. I love that. I want more of that. But we have a trafficking ring right here, right in our face, right? For everyone to see exactly what it was and what it is. And these guys are Dragging their feet. These guys aren't going in, going hard, arresting people, raiding houses, kicking indoors, SWAT teaming people. How is that even possible that this isn't occurring with all of the evidence that's been presented, with all of the evidence that. Just the public evidence, folks, I'm talking about. Not even the things that we aren't even privy to, all of the redacted stuff, et cetera, et cetera, just the public evidence is enough to convict these people. Think about it for a minute. If you were sitting on a jury and all of this evidence was presented to you, which way would you vote? Which way would you go when it came time to. To drop the. Drop the charges on them? I know I'd be voting guilty. There's no doubt about it. And that's coming from somebody who came into this with open eyes. I didn't come into this with an agenda, folks. I had zero agenda. When I first started covering this case, I started covering this because of government corruption. I had no dog in the fight. I didn't know one way or the other if Virginia Roberts was credible or not, or. Or if any of the other survivors were credible or not. I knew that Jeffrey Epstein was a scumbag. There was no doubt about that. But I wasn't sure one way or the other where I was gonna fall when I started researching this until I started looking at all of the evidence. And once you see all of the evidence, it's very apparent that not only was Jeffrey Epstein involved in this, we know that, but he was being protected from on high. And we've seen it over and over again. We've seen it unfold right before our eyes on this very podcast. As we've read article, article after article, and put the puzzle pieces together. The French prosecutor's office gave no details about any possible charges against Epstein. The investigation was announced on August 23, four days after court papers containing Robert's allegations were unsealed in the US on August 22, the French arm of the abuse charity Innocents in Danger revealed it had received 10 reports of abuse by Epstein in France after issuing its own appeal. That's awesome. So, again, if you're somebody who's in France and you're scared and you don't want to come forward and you've been affected by these disgusting morons, you can contact the. The abuse charity Innocence in Danger in France. It seems to be a charity there that deals with abuse survivors and people who have been affected by people like Epstein and Brunel. They've. They've had you know, several people. 10 reports of abuse by Epstein in France. So if you're looking for somebody to reach out to, you could reach out to them as well. But I implore you, do not let this go unchecked. Do not let these people get away with it anymore. You are not alone. Earlier this week, a 46 year old Dutch former model accused Brunel of drugging and raping her at his Paris apartment in 1990, when she had just turned 18. And that's what I was talking about earlier, about him using drugs to rape girls as well. This has been a known ploy of Jean Luc Brunel. This is his mo. Many girls have come forward and said this. So this isn't like a new thing. This isn't something that people, the French police should be shocked about. You know, people have been talking about this for a very long time in France, and just like in America, just like in London, nobody took it seriously. What is wrong with the Western world at this point? How long are we going to let people like Jean Luc Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein get away with abusing people? Right. The most. The. The most. I don't even know what to say at this point about it, folks. It's just, it's literally the most prolific trafficking ring ever thrown in front of our faces. And they were able to get away with it for years and years and years and years because governments in places like, like France and America and England just look the other way, turn their turn, turn the other cheek, all because intelligence was involved. Think about that for a minute. Think about how ghastly that is, how devious that is, how gross the five eyes of intelligence of the Western world are. There's zero oversight, there's nobody that ever checks their power and they continue to run roughshod over the freedoms and rights of every citizen of the free world. And this is the result. Unchecked, unmitigated power where they're able to conduct themselves in a sex trafficking ring right under our noses while associating with ex heads of state, business moguls, politicians, you name it. And meanwhile, those who are abused are way too scared to come forward because of the circle that Epstein ran in. In a letter which was sent to Paris prosecutors, the woman said several girls lived in Brunel's apartment near the Champs Elyse, where everyday rich businessmen were accompanied by very young girls. The events are beyond the statute of limitations and my client knows this will not lead to charges against Mr. Brunel. The woman's lawyer, Anne Claire Lajeune, told AFP, but she wanted to testify anyway to help the inquiry move forward, she said. Well, that's pretty brave on her part for coming forward like this, even knowing that the statute of limitations has passed her case by. She came forward to help add what do we always talk about here on the podcast, folks? Context to the story. And when you add context, you add more meat to the bone. It gives you an overall picture of what's going on and it gives the prosecutors more probable cause to keep digging. Even though the statute of limitations might have passed, that doesn't mean that people don't believe what she's saying. Innocence and Danger said it will also be sharing information with investigators. Innocence and Danger will will reserve for the judicial authority the content of the information and testimonies it has received in recent weeks so as to enable investigators to carry out all investigations necessary to uncover the truth, it said in a statement. Now remember though folks, this article is from September and we're all the way in March of 2020 now. And we haven't really heard much about France. We haven't heard much about the movement in France. We haven't heard about investigations in France. So it leads me to believe that the French authorities caught this stuff in their net and stepped on it. They have no desire to overturn these rocks in France. They have no desire to shake these trees in France. They have no desire for justice in France. Epstein's death at the federal jail triggered multiple investigations. It prompted U.S. attorney General William Barr to criticize serious irregularities at the facility and to remove the acting chief of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Barr said that the criminal investigation into any possible co conspirators of Epstein would continue. Earlier this month, French Gender Equality Minister Marlene Chiappa had called on authorities to open an investigation. Well, I guess the authorities really didn't take her too seriously, huh? Because we have not heard of any movement from France. We heard a little bit, oh they, they opened an investigation, they're looking into this, blah blah blah blah blah. But yet no movement still. I mean, at least in America we've had Jeffrey Berman come out and talk about this a little bit. At least in London we see Prince Andrew on the run. But what's going on in France, folks? What is going on in France? Epstein, a registered sex offender who once socialized with President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton president, pleaded guilty in 2008 to Florida State charges of unlawfully paying a teenage girl for sex. He was sentenced to 13 months in a county jail, a deal widely criticized as too Lenient. Yeah, you think too lenient is an understatement. But folks, the real crux of the situation, the real meat and potatoes of today's topic is Jean Luc Brunel. And we're going to be going hard against him for the next week or so. I think it's time that we read an article a day about Jean Luc Brunel and, and just I want, I want everybody to be completely aware of the scumbag that he is, of the piece of trash that he is, and the role that he played in helping all of these girls be abused by Jeffrey Epstein. There's nowhere left to hide. There's no corners left to hide in. There's no more holes left to skulk in. The party is over for these people, folks. Do you know why? I think you all know why. 2020. This is the year that the predator turns into the prey. And we're going to make sure of that here on the Jeffrey Epstein podcast. We're going to talk about an article today from the Daily Beast and this article has to do with Jean Luc Brunel and the author of the article, Michael Gross's Night out with him, Jean Luc Brunel, and in Michael Gross's own words, Jean Luc Brunel's terrified models. Jean Luc Brunel is not talked about enough in this case. He is a very important part of this case, a linchpin, a guy who was in a leadership role. A man who is accused of providing young 12 year old girls for Jeffrey Epstein as a birthday present. A man who is accused of partaking in the sex trafficking. A man who is accused of not only enabling Jeffrey Epstein's behavior, but also being one of the key procurers of it. So this morning we're going to take a little bit of time so that we can talk about Jean Luc Brunel a little bit and talk about how this man deserves to be in bracelets and underneath the jail right next to Ghislaine Maxwell. This man seems to escape scrutiny in a lot of the stories. But it is very important that everybody in a leadership position, especially within this criminal organization, faces justice. There is no reason why Jean Luc Brunel, who has been under all sorts of clouds of impropriety when it comes to women for decades. There is no way that this guy should still be roaming the streets. How is he not arrested? How is he not brought into custody? And how is he not forced to roll over on the rest of them? All right, this article is from the Daily Beast. The author is Michael Gross, and this article was published originally on August 29th of 2019. The headline, My Night with Epstein Powell, Jean Luc Brunel and And his Terrified models. It was 1993 or 1994 when I first encountered Jean Luc Brunel, the controversial French modeling agent, at a then trendy south beach restaurant called the Strand in Miami. Shocking that he's in south beach, huh? Who else was living in Florida? Jeffrey Epstein, perhaps? A table near mine, set for 6, expanded to seat 10, then shrank for 8, then enlarged to fit a party of 12, and was finally occupied, as I finished my meal, by a pack of extremely young women. Teenagers, really, with the willowy frames and lovely faces of neophyte models. And a smaller number of older men who appeared to be, well, smug probably sums it up best. Of course, these are the kind of people that were always around. Jean Luc Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein. I call them fellow travelers. You can't hang out with a guy like Jeffrey Epstein or a guy like Jean Luc Brunel and not know what they're up to. It is an impossibility, in my opinion. And for all of these people to come out and act like they had no idea what sort of monster Jean Luc Brunel is, what sort of monster Jeffrey Epstein is, it defies reality for anyone to use that excuse. And the author here, Michael Gross, pretty much says it right here. A bunch of older men and young teenagers, really, with willowy frames and lovely faces. The girls with pie in the sky, dreams, right? Oh, we'll make you a model. Come work for our agency. We'll take care of you, we'll hook you up, we'll make sure you reach the stratosphere. And then when they're in the clutches of these sick bastards, what happens? They're abused, they're exploited, and then they're discarded. A quarter century later, I was reminded of that dinner when Brunel suddenly riveted the world's attention in the hours immediately before the suicide, allegedly, of the notorious pervert and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, when it was alleged that the Frenchman had provided underage women to the very disgusting pedophile look. And not just provided women. Folks, when you follow this case and you know the deal, you also know that Jean Luc Brunel is being credibly accused by Virginia Roberts. And it's obvious for anyone who knows anything about the man that he has done this over and over and over again, used his position within these modeling agencies to take advantage of these young women on a regular basis. And this piece of this scumbag is still flocking around free, doing whatever the hell he wants. Who knows who he's abusing right now. Shortly after that Miami night, I interviewed Brunel, among many others, for a book on the modeling industry published in 1995 as Model the Ugly Business of Beautiful Women. I think that headline sums it all up. And I'm definitely going to pick this book up by Michael Gross, Model the Ugly Business of Beautiful Women, because I think to truly understand what was going on within the ranks of these modeling agencies and how they were exploited by people like Epstein and Jean Luc Brunel, I think it's important to have as much information as possible. Right? So I'm going to check out this book by Michael Gross and see if it adds any context to what we're talking about. So although I neither met nor wrote about Epstein, my phone started ringing following his latest arrest for trafficking underage women. And it hasn't stopped since, as of Brunel pile up like a mound of fetid garbage, notably in England's Guardian, France's Liberation, the, the Washington Post and the Daily Beast. And reporters have told me that apparently I'm among the very few journalists to have interviewed the then elusive and now impossible to find Brunel. So that's pretty telling right there, right? A guy like Brunel who operates in the shadows, a guy like Brunel who is acting almost as like a consigliere for Jeffrey Epstein. And if you're not familiar with mafia terms, a consigliere is basically an advisor, right, to the don. And if we're looking at this from a RICO standpoint and painting that picture, then you could easily have Jean Luc Brunel in that position as consiglieri. Right? So this man certainly never wants to talk to reporters. He knows that he was involved in all sorts of disgusting activity. And this, this gentleman, Michael Gross, is one of the only reporters who have ever been able to pin this man down and have a conversation with him. So again, that's why this article is a proper addition to the catalog. And also I just like to bring a little bit more light on to Jean Luc Brunel's name because I don't feel like he's talked about Enough. But there's more to this story than the handful of damning quotations the papers have lifted from Model from and about the man sometimes described as a rabbitoire, that is one who beats the bushes during a hunt to drive game out into the open. And look, Brunel is a sick bastard, right? But he's cagey, he's crafty, he's been doing this for quite some time and I'm sure he has a lot of contacts that Jeffrey Epstein left him. Again, this isn't your average guy, your average modeling scout, your average a human trafficker. This is a man with connections. This is a man who has a lot of secrets that he could reveal. And this is a man that should be arrested yesterday. There is the videotape of a 60 minute segment from 1988, long suppressed by legal order, that exposed him as an alleged serial abuser of young women. For instance, interviews with competitors who described him as a serial rapist. And a 28 page transcript of our taped interview in which I asked about the charges that Brunel was way more loco than parentis with the young women in his charges as well as his oft reported fondness for cocaine. And that's another huge part of the situation with the models. These kind of scenes and this sort of social situation is the sort of place where drugs are very prevalent, especially cocaine. And in Miami beach during the 80s, early 90s, forget it, everybody was getting gacked. So you think about one of these sort of, you know, situations where you have these aspiring models and these perverted ass gross old dudes who are supposedly model scouts or agents or whatever and you have a recipe for disaster. Everyone's on blow, everyone's getting high. And you know, once you get a taste for that kind of stuff, it's easy to get addicted. So they would use the drugs on sure to almost control these girls. His assurances of his innocence then were barely credible, but I felt a responsibility to report them alongside the sordid charges against him and some of the more damning passages from our conversation. But I left out what happened that same night as our daytime interview. I don't remember why I was in the nightclub Les Bondouches, douche, whatever that evening. It was 25 years ago, after all. But what happened there and afterward is a crystal clear memory, most likely because I plan to include it in a final chapter of Model that was never written because the book was already long and tawdry enough. So not only did he have an interview with Jean Luc Brunel during the day Obviously, he went out with him at night and he's going to go into this story here about what occurred while he was out with Jean Luc Brunel. My plan was to conclude the Tomb with a chapter on the youngest models of all, known as test board kids, discovered in malls and at modeling conventions and then thrown into the deep end of fashion, of the fashion pool, the studios and clubs of Paris and Milan. There they would either sink or they would swim. I chosen a handful of them at an annual modeling convention in New York, asked them to be my pen pal for a year. And that day at Brunel's agency, Karen met one of them, Robin. I've changed the models names. A Midwesterner who'd signed with him, she introduced her to. She introduced me to her friend who called herself Dakota. And we chatted and went on our separate ways. And how many girls like this are there, girls that have, you know, a story to tell about people like John Luke Brunel and Jeffrey Epstein, but have never been able to tell their story, either because they've feared for their lives, they've been intimidated, or they just don't want to relive the pain of what occurred. And it really bothers me to know that somebody like Jean Luc Brunel has been active since the 80s, folks, and nobody has wrangled this son of a bitch. No parent has punched this man square in the face. I have news for you. If this was one of my kids being abused like this, you wouldn't have to worry about the cops finding you. You wouldn't have to worry about the Federales finding you, because I would find you and I would exact vigilante style justice, because it's obvious that the authorities could care less. They could not care less. But there was Dakota on the restaurant floor above the disco at Les Bans, Duchess, sitting with Brunel and another group of models and older men at a huge table. And when she waved hello, it was clear she was miserable. She told me she hated the place and Brunell had forced her to come. Can you get us out of here? She whispered, gesturing to another model. Sure. Easy. I took them in a taxi to their model apartment off of Champ Elysees. Ah, there's that Champs Ulysses again, huh? Isn't that where Ghislaine Maxwell is supposedly hiding out now? A crowded room where dirty clothes covered every inch of the floor. And Dakota told me she'd moved there first after living with Brunel at his far more spacious and glamorous apartment nearby on Avenue Hoche. And this is the same story we saw at the building on East 66th Street. 5, 6, 7, 8 models living in one apartment. Squalor, dirty apartments, mattresses on the floor, etc. Etc. So what they would do is they'd bring these girls in and then they treat them like they were basically indentured servants. There she discovered an apparent peephole that looked into the bathroom the models in residence used, inspiring her to flee a bit. Not very far. The only part of the story that wasn't normal was that peephole models often bunk in their agents homes. Want to see it? Dakota asked. She still had a key. This is creepy, bro. So this Brunel cat had all of these young girls shacked up with him because he's supposedly an agent, a scout, whatever. And while they're using the bathroom, this disgusting old prick is peeping on them through a peephole around the corner. We went then up one of those old French cage elevator elevators to a far more lavish flat where, sure enough, there was a hidden hole drilled through a wall and a view of a bathroom. The girls were laughing about their escape. When Brunel joined us earlier that day, he denied that he still used cocaine. I had a problem, he said in a staccato burst. It was not a major. I mean, it was a problem for four or five years. I did it as fun because I never did it in the day, and then I did it as an experiment. Fine, it lasted maybe a bit longer than it should, but it had never been like a problem and it had never been. I was at work at 9 in the morning. But as the notes I took afterwards say, he was uncommonly animated. So I wouldn't have vouched for the truth of that assertion. Typical of drug addicts, right? Oh yeah, I'm not on drugs anymore. I used to have a problem, but I'm all good now. Meanwhile, he has ski rings around his nostrils, it's snowing out of his nostrils, and the dude is obviously gacked out of his beak. Come on, man. Mean to tell me you weren't on blow anymore. Yeah, okay. And he was with a friend with a case of the sniffles and the peephole. I want you to look behind all the mirrors, he said. Frankly, I just wanted out of there. So the author here, Michael Gross, was creeped out. He went to this flat, looked through the peephole after the model showed it to him, and then Mr. George Jung Jr comes out of the bathroom, gacked out of his mind, acting like he has not Gacked out of his mind. And as far as Michael Gross goes, the author of the story, all he wants to do is beat feet and get out of dodge. At this point, a demand that Dakota returned to Les Les Banes Duches with him made me nervous. Earlier that day, he'd struck me as shrewd and smug and vaguely sleazy. She told me she had to rebuff his advantage, his advances, his reappearance added scary to that list. So it wasn't a request, according to Michael Gross, it was a demand that this model, Dakota, return with him to that club. And when you're in a situation like this model was, you're pretty much beholden to this guy. Not only does he hold your career in the palm of his disgusting hand, your living situation is based on him as well. So what happens is they complete you.
B
They can.
C
They completely catch you up in their web. And then when you can't go anywhere, they move in for the kill. There was a white Ferrari with a white leather interior sitting outside his building. Dakota sat in front, and when Brunel offered to drop me off en route, I squeezed into the back. Her hand snaked around the seat where Brunel couldn't see it. I grabbed it. She squeezed until we reached the Point des Arts and I got out of the thrumming car. Will you be okay? I whispered to Dakota. Her voice said yes. Her eyes, they weren't so sure. And off they roared into the night. You know, I don't know if I would have been comfortable doing leaving this. This young lady like Michael Gross was. Honestly, I shouldn't even say I don't know. I know for a fact that me and this Brunel cat would have probably squared up. I have no tolerance for people like this. Zero tolerance for people like this. And especially after covering this case. You put me in a room with a dude like Jean Luc Brunel, I'm for sure, punching him in the face. Not even a question after seeing the way he was treating these girls. Etc. Etc.
B
Forget it.
C
There's zero chance. So I, you know, I don't know how Michael Gross was able to contain himself and not at the very least get in this guy's face, because it's obvious what he's up to, the sort of scumbag he is. Sometime later, I got a letter from Dakota. She was still in Paris, and I never learned more of what happened to her. But she reported that Robin had returned to the prairie suffering from an ulcer. I never heard from her again either. But what Young woman full of dreams would want to tell the tale of how she failed as a fashion model, even if quitting was one of the smartest choices she ever made. And it's the truth. It's such a sad story for a lot of these girls. You know, so many of these girls that we don't even know their names. These ex models, these young girls that were brought into the circle, they are used, discarded, and then put into the trash. The whole modeling industry needs a shake up, folks. It really does. Over the years, since I vaguely kept tabs on the agents who were the protagonists, if not the heroes of Model. So I heard that Brunel had broken with this and that partner and founded an agency of his own in Miami. And beginning about a decade ago, when I first learned of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, I certainly wasn't surprised. For his part, Brunel and his lawyers have denied the claims that he recruited underage girls for Epstein and abused them himself. Still, he's disappeared in the wake of
B
Epstein's arrest and suicide.
C
So, you know, Brunel was engaging in all sorts of disgusting behavior before he even sent these girls to Epstein. So these girls were being victimized multiple times by multiple people on multiple continents and still nobody has stepped in. Still nobody has brought these people to justice. Now, of course, I feel for the no longer young woman who have finally been emboldened to speak out about Brunel and I wonder and still worry about Dakota. It's pretty harrowing tale folks, and it just gives you another look into Jean Luc Brunel, his psyche and how he has been at this for decades. And once again, it is all about context. It's all about meat on the bone. And for anyone who is just getting involved in this case, Jean Luc Brunel is a name that you should definitely look into. Jean Luc Brunel is a key player in this and he does not get enough press. We're going to change that here on the podcast though. We're going to make sure that we mention this man more often because it's very important that Jean Luc Brunel, along with Ghislaine Maxwell and the rest of the co conspirators, get fitted for a pair of bracelets and a 6x10 cell. This episode centers on the horrifying allegations involving Jean Luc Brunel, a French modeling agent and close associate of Jeffrey Epstein. Host Bobby Capucci examines claims—particularly those made by prominent survivor Virginia Roberts—that Brunel procured a "gift" of three 12-year-old French triplets for Epstein. The episode explores the broader international scope of Epstein's trafficking enterprise, Brunel’s deep involvement, the failure of authorities in France and elsewhere, and the persistent bravery of survivors. Bobby also dives into a Daily Beast article by Michael Gross detailing first-hand experiences with Brunel and paints a chilling portrait of predation, complicity, and global indifference.
