Jeffrey Epstein’s relationship with Leon Black detonated inside Apollo Global Management because Black was not just any executive — he was Apollo’s co-founder, chairman, and public face. Once it became clear that Black had paid Epstein enormous sums...

And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. On tonight's episode, we're going to change pace a little bit here and we're going to check in on the Leon Black situation and the move that they're trying to make meaning Apollo Global into Las Vegas. But before we do that, there is a bit of breaking news and it has to do with Apollo Global and the battle royale that is going on between Josh Harris and Leon Black. Now, we know that Leon Black and his legal team were claiming that Ms. Ganieva and her legal team were engaging in a RICO criminal conspiracy basically to extort Leon Black. Well, now Leon Black's lawyers, they've dropped the those charges and they're not pursuing the racketeering allegations against Wigdor anymore. And the attorneys that were representing him, Emanuel at Quinn Emanuel there, they're leaving the case as well. Now, Wigdor isn't letting their foot off the gas, though Wigdor is still looking to try and get them sanctioned. So there is a lot going on here and it just leads us right into the article we're going to dig into about Apollo Global and them trying to, you know, make their way back into Las Vegas. We know that they had a bit going on with Caesars for a while, didn't work out so well, and now they're trying to get the Sands. So let's take a look at what author Dana Gentry has to say over at the Nevada Current AS Apollo MAKES LICENSE BID FOR SANDS Founder ALLEGES CONSPIRACY AGAINST CO FOUNDER When Apollo Global Management appears before the Nevada Gaming Control Board Wednesday in its bid to purchase the operations of the Venetian and Palazzo on the Las Vegas Strip, it will do so without Leon Black and Joshua Harris, the top executives who stood before regulators who when the company won a license for a leveraged buyout of caesars Entertainment in 2008, and it failed miserably for them. Caesars has never been the same since Apollo Global swooped in. And the galling part of all of this is they bought it in 2008 during the whole entire debacle. So once again, the vultures were at the corpse. And that's exactly what Apollo Global is, was, and always will be. Look, I get it. That's how you have to conduct yourself in the financial market. That's how you have to conduct yourself if you're going to be the big dog on the block of investment firms. Doesn't mean I have to like it. And in fact, I think it's gross. It's just not. I don't know. Look, hey, I'm not going to tell anybody else how to make money, right? But there has to be regulations, there has to be stipulations, and there has to be penalties when you're out of line. And we know that Apollo Global most certainly has been out of line here. Obviously, they let Leon Black be the quote, unquote, fall guy, meaning take most of the heat. But you mean to tell me the people at Apollo Global had no idea? All of these smartest men in the room, all of these too big to fail MFers had no idea, huh? Well, maybe they aren't as smart as they want us to believe. Then it's one or the other.

Apollo Global Management's founder and still its largest shareholder, stepped down Last year after 30 years as chairman when news broke that he paid convicted sex offender pedophile Jeffrey Epstein $165 million for financial advice. Now, look, we know that that's a lot of advice, huh? How much advice does 158 million buy you? A whole bunch. Now, it says here 165 million. Perhaps the author of this article has some information. I don't. I thought it was a buck 58, but we're talking about peanuts at that point, right? Be it 165,158 million. What are you giving him that kind of money for? I mean, financial advice? Really? Your head honcho down here at Apollo Global with all of the big shots working for you taking their orders from you, doing whatever it is you tell them to do. And you're out here getting money from Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, giving Jeffrey Epstein money for his advice, for his direction in life. What is this, the Boys and Girls Club? And you needed a sponsor. I mean, I don't even understand what's going on here. Not if you're, if you're following the quote unquote official narrative here and you, you don't think it's funky, then I don't know what to tell you. But $165 million for advice? I've never heard of anything like that. Black is also under investigation by the Manhattan District attorney for an alleged sexual assault at Epstein's Manhattan home, according to a news report citing sources. So again, we're talking about the Las Vegas Gaming Commission, the Las Vegas Gaming Board. Now, I worked for a sports book for six years and where fall right under the umbrella of being regulated by the Gaming Commission. And they are so ridiculous with some of the regulations that I can't even begin to tell you how annoying it is. One time I was on vacation and I had one of my employees, some guy hit a horse race, right? And if it's over a certain threshold, you have to collect a W9, get their license, get them to sign stuff. It's a whole thing for tax purposes. Anyway, the employee didn't get all of the documentation signed. So at night, all of those documents would go into an envelope and then it would be sent to the auditing department. And if the audit, the auditing department found something amiss, you would get back a notice saying that, hey, look, this is, this is wrong. You missed this. Whatever. Well, it was such a big deal that, that this employee missed this signature. Meanwhile, while I'm on vacation, mind you, and I'm getting yelled at from 3,000 miles away, it was such a big deal that they wanted to fire this person. And I was very adamant that that was not okay with me, especially considering that our company had been slapped with a $30 million fine for its own missteps, right? So how about a little equity here? You're going to get rid of this person who has a family, a job, I mean, needs this job to feed the people that rely on him. And you're going to fire them for obviously, a mistake. And we were able to chase the paperwork down. And the player actually was somebody who came to the place a lot, so he was gracious enough to sign the paperwork, but they were willing to just fire this dude because the gaming control Board. And they could have fought that, right? Meanwhile, the Gaming Control Board's over here la la la la la. Hanging out, doing who knows what down at the Las Vegas National Golf Course. Probably getting ready to give leon Black Co. A gaming license again in Las Vegas. In a lawsuit filed last week, Black alleges Harris, who he once named co founder, is out to destroy him over Black's choice of a successor, Mark Rowan. Now look, there is some truth to that probably. We know how people are, human nature in general, right? And you can amplify that to the maximum with people like Josh. Josh Harris, this is not a guy who is used to being told no or losing in any capacity. And he gets passed up for this big ass role, you know, he's gonna have some animosity built up, at least you would think so. But to this level where they're alleging that he's in bed with Leon Black's accuser and funding it and a. It's a whole RICO case, I mean, come on. That is just absolutely ridiculous. And I'll need to see a lot of evidence to believe something like that. Seeing his long held dream of becoming CEO or co CEO, crushed with Mr. Rowan's ascension, Mr. Harris kicked into high gear. His campaign to destroy Mr. Black, the suit says, like a Shakespeare story. Enraged and being passed over for promotion, he. He turned his wrath on his mentor and leader. So it's like, you know, they're setting it up like it's some Game of Thrones style type stuff, right? Some medieval, you know, one brother's passed up for the other brother, so the other brother engages in this inter family struggle to gain control of the family unit. They're saying it's the same thing going on here. Obviously it's a bit of hyperbole, right? And in my opinion, we already know that Leon Black had this relationship with Ms. Ganieva. We know that they had a physical romantic relationship while Leon Black was married, right? So we already know that they've had that sort of relationship. What would make me believe that Josh Harris is going to those lengths to put himself in basically criminal jeopardy to try and set that up. All over him being passed up for this position. Now let's not forget Harris has a gajillion dollars of his own, right? He's not missing any meals over this. Him and his family are still buying 17,000 private islands. You know, it's not, it's. It's more of a pride thing. And we know with these people that's a big deal, but enough to Insert yourself in a manner such as this. That's what he would want us to believe. And it's kind of a shrewd lamina.

2026 Strategy, in my opinion, kind of look at the right hand while the left hand is over here making moves. But I don't think it's going to work, not in this current climate. Harris, according to the suit, convened a war council composed of law firms, public relations agencies, and political consulting firms to work against AGM's interests. He also left the company last year. Look, he's had enough, right? Everything happened. There was way too much animosity, way too many burned bridges for Harris to stay involved. So peace. See you later. Black claims Harris is also behind a conspiracy to retaliate and destroy him by, among other things, weaponizing a woman with whom Black had an affair to assassinate his character and extort even more from him. Look, bro, do you have. You. You would have us believe that you gave Jeffrey Epstein for $165 million, but you're pinching pennies over here. If this was just a consensual relationship with Ms. Ganieva and you never abused her, you never took her to Epstein's, none of this stuff ever happened, I'm sure You could have had an amicable type of situation here where you paid her a certain amount of dough and been done with it. Now, look, I'm not saying that's the right thing to do. I think it's atrocious. My point is, if you have $165 million to pay Jeffrey Epstein off, what are you worried about a couple of hundred extra grand going down this way? See, none of it makes sense when you look at Leon Black's defense and his story here, because kind of like with Virginia Roberts and Prince Andrew, how the picture establishes that whole relationship that she alleges in this instance, the fact that Leon Black has already admitted to the consensual relationship with Ms. Ganieva already puts them in the room, if you will. So with everything we know, I'm giving a lot of credence to what she has to say. Now, again, I wasn't there. I don't know for sure what happened. But until it's, you know, all worked out one way or the other, we're going to talk about it, because it's a big part of the overall Epstein case. People, people don't realize how big of a role that Leon Black played. You have a lot of people that go the Wexner route, and there's no doubt Les Wexner played a gigantic role in turning Jeffrey Epstein into what he became as far as financially and opening some doors. But Leon Black was on another level than even Les Wexner. Folks, Les Wexner's powerful, he's rich, and he's all of that, but he's not Leon Black. Leon Black is an absolute great white shark when it comes to this sort of business, business in general. And this was the man who was, look at, a serious patron of Jeffrey Epstein's $165 million. How much did that. That money go? How far did it go to help further Jeffrey Epstein's criminal behavior, to help him and Maxwell continue to do what. Black admits to, making secret payments of $100,000 a month beginning in 2015 to Gazelle Ganieva to keep their relationship confidential. Ganieva alleges in her own suit that Black sexually assaulted her when she refused his overtures. And look, again, I was not there. There's a ton of gray area here, so we'll have to see how this all plays out one way or the other. All I could say is this. If you're gonna hang out with Jeffrey Epstein and not just, you know, oh, I saw him at a cocktail party, and we had some roasted Weenies together, hang out. But break bread with old boy and break him off to the tune of 158, $165 million. You better believe my antenna's gonna go up when someone makes an allegation against you. You are the company you keep. Leon Black has taken victim shaming of sexual assault victims to a stratospheric level. Ganieva's attorney, Gene Christensen of Wigdor llp, said in a statement to the current Black intends in the suit that Ganieva demanded $100 million and threatened to reveal the relationship to his wife and Apollo's board, as well as the press if he did not pay her. And still. A hundred million, that's a lot of dough, right? 65 million less than you gave to Epstein for advice. Could have gave her this money and been done with it. Leon Black could have still been going on along your way. But nope, not the case. Your pride wouldn't let you do it, would it? Even if it's going to ruin you. And I have a funny feeling it's going to. Folks, we have not heard the last about Leon Black and his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And no matter which way this situation turns out, this dude's going to have to answer for that eventually. Nevada gaming regulators who approved Caesar's Entertainment bankruptcy restructuring in 2017 were either not interested or unaware of the secret monthly payments from Black to Ganieva. And here we come back to the circling around part, right? Circling back to it, and that's the Gaming Commission. I mean, come on, man. It's like all of the stereotypes of what the Gaming Commission is. That's exactly what they are. Remember when Michael Corleone came? Michael Corleone came to Las Vegas in the Godfather. And, you know, he goes to see his brother and Mo Green's there, and it's the whole thing. Then he gets that cowboy senator dude who shows up and gives him all kinds of grief about his gaming license. Yeah, kind of the same thing going on here still just, you know, they're all wearing $10,000 suits now. Instead, longtime gaming attorney Frank Schreck, who represents agm, says he was not involved in the company's restructuring. Schreck, a former member of the Nevada Gaming Commission. Oh, shocker, huh? Is the attorney who arranged for a corporate shell to secretly make $7.5 million in payments to a Win win Las Vegas manicurist who claimed she was raped and impregnated by Steve Wynn in 2005. According to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission's 2019 report on Wynn and his previous empire. I'm not even going to touch on that. I don't know enough about it. I know that Steve Wynn got chased from all of his properties here in Las Vegas over these allegations. So there must have been a little something something there, right? And you know how I feel about people who are that rich. I feel like all of these people are wired incorrectly. And you get to a certain level and it's like your brain stops working and your, you know, whatever inner, inner clock of morality that you're possessing, it just, it breaks and you don't have one anymore. Massachusetts regulators conducting an investigation into Wynn's Resorts Gaming application in that state asked Schreck if the purpose of the LLC was to hide Wynn's identity. Not just Steve Wynn, said Schreck, who told investigators he represented both Wynn and the hotel. Just so this whole settlement would be maintained on the confidential agreements. So basically I'm gonna set up a shell company and use it to, to pay people out. I don't even understand how. See, this is the thing. If you or I did any of this stuff, folks, we'd be in prison for a bazillion years. Underneath the prison. Look at, look at the way they treat people for simple minor possession. And I'm not talking about violent criminals. Violent criminals deserve to be locked up. Not even a question. No short bail, none of that. But nonviolent offenders get treat and getting treated worse than these gigantic crooks. These people have been stealing from us forever. No evidence surfaced during this investigation showing that in 2005, anyone with knowledge of the Manicurist's allegations of the settlement disclosed the matter to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Mass Investigators wrote their efforts at secrecy made it exceedingly difficult, if not impossible for gaming regulators to detect this potential derogatory information through typical regulatory means which rely heavily on robust self disclosures. So basically they want them to self govern themselves. Rich people to self govern themselves. That's what the Gaming Control Board saying over here. Little wink, wink, nudge, nudge, yeah, just control yourselves, guys. It's absurd. They're supposed to regulate all of this. And they're too busy worrying about nonsense like I was talking about earlier then. Very, very, very important things such as this. Shrek told Mass investigators the Manicurist attorney initially alleged his client was raped by Wynn. At that point I said if that's your position, then this is not a civil case, it's a criminal case. And the conversation ends, Shrek told investigators. And he backed off of that immediately. And we then went ahead and discussed whatever the next moves would be in terms of trying to resolve the case. So it's a bunch of he said, she said, like usual, right? Shrek says one thing, another person says another thing. And you know, you have yourself enough there for these people to claim plausible deniability and still somehow find their way to getting their gaming license or whatever it might be. The Nevada Gaming Control Board fined Wynn Resorts $20 million in 2019 for failing to conduct an investigation. And into the 2005 allegation, Shrek's Law firm drew up the stipulated agreement between the hotel and the state. So it took them 14 years to get things crackalacking. $20 million. After 14 years, you know how much money the Wynn Resorts brings in? It's an absurd amount. Their pool parties alone are bringing in an absurd amount. I know at the property I worked at for a bazillion years, four weeks of pool parties paid for their whole year of operations. Absolutely insane. The amount of money these casinos bring in. So $20 million is an absolute joke. The 10 count complaint against Wynn Las Vegas filed by Nevada gaming officials makes no mention of Shrek's role in concealing the $7.5 million in payments. Why should it? Shrek, who is expected to represent Apollo Global Management before the Gaming Control Board this week, would not respond to whether Black's status as majority stockholder of AGM is expected to be an issue in the licensing. Why should it be? So even though he stepped down, mind you, Leon Black, remember, he's still the biggest stockholder in Apollo Global. So he's going to benefit from this greatly. And I'm not okay with that either. I just. Look, here's the thing. I don't want Apollo Global in Las Vegas. All. All of these corporations have ruined my city. Las Vegas was a great place when these casinos were all owned by separate entities or separate people. I know the Hard Rock Hotel was just absolutely amazing. An amazing place to work, an amazing place to hang out. Just overall great experience. Until Peter Morton sold it in 2008. Once Peter Morton sold the property, forget it. And that's the. Those are. That's. The dominoes fell in Las Vegas and the corporations came in. And this is the kind of shit you get. You get people like Leon Black calling the shots for my money. I. It's almost. I, you know, I say it tongue in cheek, but we'd be better off with the mafia here, right? At least my blueberry muffins would have the right amount. The blueberries in them. Apollo is offering $2.25 billion for the LAS Vegas Sands operations, while Vici Properties, a real estate investment Trust, will pay 4 billion for the real estate. A spokesman for the Game and Control Board had no comment when asked whether Chairman Bryn Gibson will abstain from the AGM matter. Gibson, an attorney, worked for Shrek's law firm in 2020. I highly doubt that he'll abstain. I just don't see it. Why would they, why would they abstain? Oh, there's no conflict of interest here. We can separate our bias. Give them the permit. Give them the permit. You know how it goes. Anyway, that's where we're at here with Apollo Global. And there's things are moving fast with this, this whole story and I want to make sure we stay on top of it and we make some time for it. When there's a little bit of downtime like we have tonight with the Prince Andrew situation and the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, we're pretty much all caught up there. So instead of rehashing the stuff that we've went over the last couple of days, there's really no context to add yet. I figured we would deviate the course a bit here and talk about this because this is a big deal. And again, let's not forget that if this goes through and they're able to purchase this at this cut rate, by the way, this is a good deal. The Sands is a very profitable company and we know that the restrictions and Covid, it's not going to be here forever, folks. So they're looking long term. That's what they're looking at here, the long term evaluation of this purchase. And for my money, I really, I just don't want Apollo Global in Las Vegas. Point blank, period. I don't like Leon Black and he's going to be the one who benefits from this overall in the long run. So I hope the Gaming Commission does the right thing. Do I expect them to? Absolutely not. All right, folks, that's going to do it for tonight's episode. Couple more context episodes coming your way and then tomorrow morning, right back at it, we'll pick up with Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein. We'll see where we're at and we will go from there. I hope that everybody has a great night. De puertas Entradas Interiores Personalizada. So for our article this morning, folks, we're going to jump right back in and talk a little bit more Apollo Global and Leon Black. And in this installment, we're going to talk about how the United nations, as you all know, certainly not my favorite group of people. A group of people I think are basically an organized criminal group at the U.N. right? Well, they even think that Jeffrey Epstein's ties to Leon Black are too much to swallow. And they also believe that the report from the law firm did not go far enough, did not do enough to bring their fears and their second thoughts under control. So we're going to jump into this article from the Financial Times, and we're going to see what the Financial Times and authors Francesca Friday, Mark Van Vandeveled and Kay Wiggins have to say about the UN And Apollo Global headline Apollo's Epstein Report Fails to Reassure United Nations Fund. And I find that comical at best, right? Considering the United nations is just populated with a bunch of thieves and scum as it is. So imagine being such a scumbag that even the UN Thinks you're a scumbag. I mean, that's like Jeffrey Dahmer getting up on his soapbox and calling Ted Bundy a scumbag. Like I said, this article was authored by Francesca Friday, Mark Van de Velde and Kay Wiggins. A report for oh, excuse me before we get started. By the way, this article was Originally published on February 2, so I've had this one in the stack for a little while. And since there's no new news to really get to today, I figured we'd add a little more context to this conversation. So here we go. A report by lawyers for Apollo Global Management into the ties between Leon Black and the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is not enough to remove the company from a watch list of investments that require extra scrutiny A top UN pension fund official has said. Oh, well, that doesn't sound damning. That isn't horrendous or anything. How could you possibly have your money parked with Apollo Global and just shrug your shoulders at this? And you know, I, I, I get it, right? Money rules the world. And people at the end of the day, they want to increase their wealth. And really a lot of these people truly don't care how this money is made. Blood diamonds, Big deal. War, don't care. On the backs of sexual exploitation. Big deal. Cash my check. And again, I don't want to sound like I'm, you know, being extra critical of anyone with money because that's not the case. Right? I'm talking about the 1% of the 1%. The hedges and their friends and the other scuzz bags that are invested with Apollo. Those people really don't give a damn about society as a whole. And if you think they care about you or your children or your dreams or your hopes, you are sadly mistaken. Go to your local bank if you have a bad credit score and try and get a loan and see how that works out for you. The banking system is installed to, to keep control over us. I mean, the fact that the only time you ever hear about Jesus Christ getting mad is when he flipped over the table of the tax, the, the, the tax people in the church for usury. That should tell you all you need to know about these bankers. They're doing the same thing that loan sharks for the mafia do on the streets. But instead, if you don't pay the bankers and instead of just breaking your hand, they destroy your whole entire life. The law firm Deckard said last week that Mr. Black, Apollo's co founder, had transferred $158 million to Epstein for advice and other professional services, far more than was previously known. And we've touched on this a bunch. There is no way that that money was moved for advice. Anyone who tries to tell you that with a straight face is BSing you, okay? There's no advice on this planet that should cost $158 million. No advice on this planet. The firm found that Apollo did not do business with Epstein and that there was no evidence that Black was involved in any way with Epstein's criminal activities at any time. You know, it's pathetic. Really is pathetic. And you know, I hate to rehash on this again, and we've talked about this a lot lately, but I feel it's important. Right? Obviously I feel it's important. If we're hammering it the way we are. If we keep revisiting this topic, there's a reason for it. And that reason is I'm tired of people like Leon Black getting away with things like this. I'm tired of people like Leon Black not facing the consequences. When everybody else in society has to beat to the drum. You know, we have to, we have to get going with whatever drumbeat people like Leon Black and those that he financed to get into office play for us. You know, we're not dancing to our own tune, but we should be. We should have a justice system that we can rely on, a justice system that we know if we get in trouble or there's something that goes wrong, that everyone's going to go in and have a fair shake under the law. And that is certainly not what's going on here. And that's why it's comical with Maxwell as well, with her whole entire routine about how, oh, the, the, the, the conditions of jail are so terrible for me, for me, for me, it's always about me, me, me. That's why I don't have any compassion for her. I've been very clear that I feel like the department, the, the, the Bureau of Prisons needs to be fixed. I've been very clear that I think reformation needs to happen. But unfortunately it's not happening. Right? These are the rules that we're all playing by or supposed to play by. And now that Ghislaine Maxwell is facing the music and she's sitting there rotting in a jail cell, now everybody's worried about if it's fair or not. Well, I have news for you, Ghislaine and Marcus and all of the other people that support you. Jail's always been shitty for poor people. You don't like the way the shit pie tastes? Well, stop baking it. Apollo was put on the UN Joint Staff pension funds watch list in mid July 2019, after reports of Mr. Black's ties to Epstein, a UN official said, so again, in essence, this is a good thing for the UN to have a official watch list for businesses that are involved in malfeasance. Right? In principle, it sounds like a great idea. The problem is this. The UN is as corrupt or even more corrupt perhaps than even Leon Black. So if we're, if we're sitting here thinking that the UN is some kind of watchdog, that the UN is this, this body of morality that is going to make sure people like Leon Black are doing the right thing, which we are all going to be sorely disappointed because the un, like any other bureaucracy is terrible. Okay? The un, they don't. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. They're always up to some stupidity. And it seems like all of the officials at the UN are more worried about increasing their own wealth and trying to get a little something. Something out of their position. Tell me the last time the UN showed up anywhere and it was like a. A good situation, right? They showed up and they helped out, and nobody complained about people in the UN abusing and raping and trafficking kids. Very rare, right? Every time they show up somewhere, it's a whole entire shit show of. Of crimes and malfeasance. So that's why I find it laughable that the un, of all places, acts like there's some sort of watchdog here. Oh, yeah, What Apollo Global's doing, we can't abide by that. Meanwhile, how many people from the UN throughout the years have been involved in horrendous crimes? So talk about hypocrisy. Apollo was put on the UN Joint Staff pension funds watch list in July 2019 after reports of Mr. Black's ties to Epstein. A UN official said the $80.3 billion pension fund has invested with Apollo since at least 2013. So they have $80.3 billion. The UN. Why does the UN have $80 billion anyway? That's. I guess that's another topic for another time. They have $80 billion invested with Leon Black and Apollo Global. 80 billion. With a B, folks. Billion dollars. So what's with all the talk? The un, Are you going to walk the walk or just talk the talk? Because now, in hindsight, when we're looking back at this a few weeks later, you haven't bounced out of this pension yet. So once again, seems like a bit of grandstanding by the United Nations. Speaking after the Deckard Report was published, Pedro Guazo, representative of the UN Secretary General for the investment of the pension fund's assets, told the Financial Times, right now, we are not exploring any individual. Excuse me, exploring any additional investments with them. Well, that's a good start, huh? But again, my question is, why does the UN have $80 billion? Can somebody refresh my memory and tell me how many famines are happening around the world right now? How many people are starving in underdeveloped countries? But the UN's investing $80 billion with Leon Black seems legit. Almost as great as the Catholic Church when you got the Pope up there, you know, yelling down at everybody about giving and being charitable. Meanwhile, the Vatican's sitting on an untold amount of Wealth. Why don't you open up your doors and pass out some gold there, Mr. Pope? Same shit here with the UN, right? They'll get up there and they'll talk about how they care and how they're gonna show up and help people and feed people. And Meanwhile, they're investing $80 billion with Jeffrey Epstein's buddy. The current outlook of the UN Office of Investment Management is that the findings of Deckard's investigation were not enough to move Apollo off the watch list, he added. Reputational risk is something that we take very seriously, Mr. Gwazo said, stressing that any new investment would have to meet stringent UN criteria concerning social impact and corporate governance. Oh, yeah, a lot of pretty words, folks. A lot of flowery, flowery words to make you think that they care. Meanwhile, that 80 billion is still sitting there parked with Apollo Global. Yank it if you really care. You in and you truly want to see the world a better place, yank your money. The UN's decision to blow is a blow to Apollo, whose co founder, Joshua Harris, had said in October that the third party fundraising will slow over the near term as some investors await the findings of the review by the company's lawyers. Well, we know that a lot of companies have not shied away, right? And I've been taking note of these companies and we're going to talk about them a little bit more later on. But all of these places that are still investing with Apollo, with this shroud of Jeffrey Epstein hanging over them, they should honestly be ashamed of themselves, all for an extra couple of percent of yield. You could go with a more reputable company, maybe miss out on half a point of yield or something like that, but still feel better about yourself. I know as an investor, and obviously not on this level, but as an investor, I don't invest in companies that I don't believe in. I don't invest in situations I don't believe in. If a company has this kind of ill repute, I'm certainly not parking my money with them. Apollo last week unveiled reforms designed to address investors concerns, saying it would add four new independent directors and revamp its dual class share structure to give outside investors more say in how the firm is run. Mr. Black said he would step down as chief executive by July 31. So we see the reformation beginning, right? We see they brought on Jay Clayton, who I talked about yesterday, Trump's SEC sheriff. Certainly not a hire that I think's a good idea. But you see them trying to make steps in the direction of acting like they care Acting like they're going to fix things. Meanwhile, Black is still involved, Rowan is the CEO now, and Harris has been sidelined. Makes you wonder what the true goal of Apollo is. Making things right or continuing to protect their founder and their bud, Leon Black. Deckard had unrestricted access to all relevant individuals and documents and the report was publicly released in the in its entirety. Apollo said in a statement to the FP ft, excuse me, that's wrong. They had access to whatever Black decided to give them. This wasn't a subpoena by the government. Give me a break. Stop gaslighting us. It added the corporate governance enhancements, proposed or sweeping and subject to corporate and regulatory approvals, will be industry leading. Those moves appeared to placate some Apollo investors, Among them the UK South Yorkshire's pension authority, which committed almost 29 million pounds across three Apollo funds between 2013 and 2019. The authority's director, George Graham, told the FT that Apollo's actions demonstrate a commitment to learning and improving from things that go wrong. Uh, what? So the pension plan here, the South Yorkshire Pensions Authority, thinks that investing their money with Leon Black is a good idea because, you know, the Deckard Report went far enough to clear Leon Black and Apollo Global of any sort of misdeeds. Uh, what? Obviously, the leader of that pension plan is also suffering from cte. Very, very serious condition. Too many shots to the head will have you thinking funny. All right, everybody, I will be back later on. I don't know about a daily drop. Tonight we'll see what's going on. We'll see which way the wind blows. If there's something to talk about, I'll hop on. If not, expect a couple of flashbacks and then expect me, my beard and my big mouth back tomorrow morning. All right, everybody, have a great night. And please, if you're going out tonight, do the right thing. Don't drink and drive, just call. Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm your host, Bobby Capuchi, and this is a Morning Update. What's up, everybody, and welcome to the program. So, in a few days, my new podcast is launching Life is a mosh pit. And on that podcast we're going to talk about a variety of subjects. We're not going to be pigeonholed by one topic. We're not going to just spend countless days on one topic like we do here. It's going to be a different kind of podcast than the Jeffrey Epstein Show. We're laser focused here on this podcast, right? Everything's about Epstein and his people all day, every day. Well, the new podcast is going to be a lot different. We're going to be talking about issues ripped right from the headlines. Topics that I don't believe are getting enough play by the legacy media. We're going to be doing deep dives into certain topics. Like for instance, the first topic that we're going to be discussing is the war on drugs. And it's going to be a multiple part series. We'll start at the beginning and work our way through. Now what is the war on drugs? Why has it been employed? Why has it been kept going on for so long when we know that it's failing? Who's benefiting from it and who is being hurt the worst by it? All of that is going to be discussed in this first series. We're going to be talking about other things as well. Money laundering, corruption. We're gonna talk about bias in the media. We're gonna talk about all of it. And I'm not gonna make any of it digestible either. People are gonna have to choke it down. Because guess what? There is enough fluff put on these serious topics. There is enough nonsense by the legacy media keeping people unaware of the serious nature of the shit going on around us. Like for instance, do any of you even know that there's a war going on on the streets of Jacksonville between two rap crews that have claimed the lives of kids that are 16 years old? And then those same very kids are memorialized in rap songs by their opps, their opponents. Furthermore, do you know that Jacksonville doesn't clear roughly 70% of the homicides in that city? Sure, some of you might have known this, but I'm guessing a lot of you out there didn't know any of that. It's not your fault. It's the fault of the legacy media. You would think that if bodies were being dropped on a street like JA in a city like Jacksonville, in a place like America, it would be all over the tv. There'd be people marching, there'd be all sorts of shit going on. There's none of that happening. And the legacy media just ignores it. Why All a bunch of poor kids from the streets of Jacksonville killing each other. Who cares? Keep it moving. So there's a lot of things like that that go on around this country that people do not talk about, and we're going to be jumping right into that kind of stuff, and we're going to talk about all of that. I think it's important that we have an idea of what's really going on. I think it's important that we lift up the shade and take a look a little bit deeper than what's going on just in the front room. And that's the plan. On the new podcast, Life is a Mosh Pit. We're going to tackle all of that kind of stuff, all of those seedy topics that the legacy media refuses to get into. We're going to get into that. We're going to get into the homelessness issue in a place like Las Vegas, where I'm at. And I even have some plans on doing a short documentary about the homeless issue here in Las Vegas. So I got a lot of things in the works, folks, a lot of things cooking. And all of this is going to crack off and start on June 1st. Also, for those of you who aren't, you know, looking to delve into such deep topics, I'm gonna have some light shit on there as well. We're gonna talk about pop culture. We're gonna talk about reality tv. I'm gonna do a sports segment. I know a lot of people have been hitting me up about doing a sports segment, especially coming this coming football season, to discuss, you know, certain bets and things like that. So I'm definitely gonna do that as well. I guess what I'm trying to tell you folks is I'm gonna be pumping out a ton of content coming up here real soon, and we're gonna see what's what. We are going to see what's what. But one thing you can guarantee is that you're going to get the same exact tenacity, the same kind of approach and the same sort of bulldog mentality that I display here on this new podcast. We're not going to beat around the bush. We're not going to pull any punches. We're going to go hard in the paint. We're going to dig deep, and we're going to talk about the issues that I believe are being avoided or just straight up ignored by the legacy media. Some of that shit's going to be grimy, folks. Some of it will probably be hard to hear and read, but this audience especially is well prepared for heavy topics at this point. Right. So get ready for all of it. The war on drugs, human trafficking, that goes along with it, all of that stuff is about to be explored, about to be touched on, as well as things like I was just talking about like the situation in Jacksonville. I never see anything like that on the news. When I pop it on, you have to actually actively search stuff like that out. If you don't know that it's going on, then you have no idea. Right? Nobody's gonna tell you. None of the newscasters are popping on cnn. Rachel Maddow doesn't have a special about all the bodies being dropped in Jacksonville. Right. So we're going to discuss all of that. We're going to fill in the blanks and we're going to have a good time doing it. I plan on having some guests on, I plan on having some experts on. And if there's any topics that you folks want to discuss, shoot me an email and I'll definitely take a look and we'll see if we can figure something out because there's a whole wide world out there, folks, and we've just dipped our toes in. All right, so as for today and our Jeffrey Epstein news, we're gonna talk a little bit more about Apollo Global and the fallout from that. Now the New York Post is reporting that, you know, this is the, the Epstein situation is what really led to the break in management at Apollo. They're right about that. I told you folks that quite some time ago. And now this is one of the very few areas where I have air quotes, a couple of sources when it comes to the financial world. And that just, just because I happen to have a job for some time for Kanner Fitzgerald and I would associate with these guys at like business, business meetings and you know, stuff like that. So I got kind of friendly with some of these people and, and I've stayed in contact with them and they've proved to be very reliable when it comes to this financial stuff. They really have their ear to the ground and they know what's going on. Right? So they clued me in a while back when all of this was first breaking that this was going to be a serious disruption at the top of Apollo Global and that there was a full on war going on inside of the boardroom. And we've seen that come to pass, we've seen that pan out to be true. And now the New York Post is jumping on and co signing that, which is awesome, right? I like when you have an outlet like the post that comes on and it confirms some of the stuff we've heard from the very few sources that, that I have. When it comes to stuff like this, you all know I'm not gonna be out here bullshitting you, acting like I got sources all over the place, like I'm some kind of journalist. That's not the case. I'm just like you folks, right? I'm just a guy with a podcast, guy with a few bit, some commentary. I certainly don't have any sources or anything like that in any other realm. But when it comes to the financial part of this, I happen to know a few people and they have been spot on with what they have had to say and the information that they have given me in regards to the whole entire financial fiasco around Epstein and that continues to play out. So let's jump into this New York Post article and let's see just exactly what Josh Kossman, the author of this article, has to say. How Jeffrey Epstein Led to Fallout at Apollo Global Management Jeffrey Epstein was a key reason for tensions at the top of Apollo Global Management that recently spurred the exit of two of its three remaining co founders. And the awkwardness began a decade ago, the Post has learned. Look, this has been brewing, right? This isn't a. This. Something like this doesn't just happen overnight in a boardroom like this, right? There's fissures, there's little holes and things start to get more serious, get bigger and, and the rifts grow wider as information comes in and they find out more and more about the relationship between Leon Black and Jeffrey Epstein. That made things a whole lot harder to navigate within that boardroom because people understood what it meant, right? People definitely knew in that, in that boardroom what was going down. Josh Harris certainly knew and that's why he was so adamant about not being in bed with Epstein or not being involved with Epstein. Josh Harris knew exactly what the deal was. Ahora mascar los yeba Cada projecto al sigliente libera quince. It was in 2011 that billionaire Leon Black, who on March 22 revealed he was stepping down from the helm of the giant buyout firm sooner than expected amid controversy over his Epstein ties, first floated the idea of working with the now dead pedophile to his fellow co founders Josh Harris and Mark Rowan, according to sources close to that situation. So all the way back in 2011, Leon Black was singing the song of Jeffrey Epstein to Smith and I mean to Harris and Mark Rowan back then. Even Harris wasn't having it Harris was not too excited about what was going on. You know, I can't really get a pulse on Rowan. Nobody that I know really knows Rowan personally. So I won't begin to try and make pretend that I have any idea about his motivations. But he certainly seems like he is a yes man for Leon Black. Certainly seems like Leon Black's bag man. And if that was not the case, then you would think that Harris would have gotten the position, right? He was set up to be in that position. He was set up to take over. Rowan had even stepped back from his duties and was basically in retirement. All of this stems from the fact that, that Harris thinks that Leon Black's a sick bastard for running around with Jeffrey Epstein, running the streets with Epstein, breaking bread with Epstein and being Epstein's boy. That's what this all comes down to. Harris was grossed out by it. Harris wants nothing to do with it. And Rowan was a lot more accepting of it. Point blank period, folks. That's despite the fact that Epstein had been convicted three years earlier for soliciting prostitution from a 14 year old girl. And we all know that it wasn't prostitution. We all know what Epstein was doing. They all knew what Epstein was doing, doing. And yet Leon Black's jumping right in bed with Epstein, pulling the covers up and giving him the old reach around like it's nobody's business. And at the same time trying to get his partners at Apollo Global to hop into bed with Epstein as well. Epstein as well. Now, can you imagine the fallout of all three of these dudes would have been in bed with Epstein if they were all milking that golden cow with it? Just being Leon Black, Apollo Global is able to be like, alright, well this is just, it's just Leon Black. It's not the rest of us. He's gonna take a step back and you know, business as normal, we'll just continue things how they were. And they're able to get away with that, right? Because Rowan and Harris weren't in bed with Black, so they have plausible deniability. But imagine if Leon Black was able to snake them into it back in the day when he first got into bed with Epstein. This would be a whole different conversation right now. In the meantime, Black had continued to associate with him and was prodding Harris and Rowan to hire Epstein to do some work for them and possibly for Apollo, according to the sources. Now the cynic in me is wondering, was Leon Black trying to recruit these dudes to get them caught up in the web as well, to get some More, more kompromat for Epstein to be in charge of. I mean, you gotta ask those questions when you're dealing with the people that we're dealing with, right? I know it's very cynical to look at things that way and it's in most cases I don't work like that. But when we're dealing with the people that we're dealing with here, the people with the reputations that they have, then you never know what is being used as a tool of manipulation and what's not being used as a tool of manipulate, manipulation. So I, you know, I don't know what the real motivation is for Leon Black to try and get these dudes in bed with Epstein as well, but something is sitting in my stomach funny with that whole entire setup and I can't put my finger on it yet, but you better believe I'm gonna keep probing. Leon affirmatively recommended Epstein. It was more than a passing comment. One source said he wanted Apollo to hire him. And remember, we talked about that as well. My sources were pretty clear about the fact that this just was not an Epstein situation with Leon Black. Leon Black was very, very, very vocal about bringing Epstein into the fold of Apollo and having him take more of, you know, an advisory role there. That was common knowledge to people who were around Apollo or who had friends working at Apollo. This is something that was discussed and people knew about it. So for Leon Black to act like him and Epstein weren't close. For Leon Black to try and distance himself from Epstein, it's a no win strategy for me and I'm never going to let him get off the hook with it. I'm going to continue to pound this piece of pavement, folks, until Leon Black shuts his yap. Because it is very obvious to anyone who's paying attention that Leon Black and Jeffrey Epstein were very, very tight. Harrison Rowan, repelled by Epstein and concerned about damage to Apollo's reputation, said no. And the conversations never advanced according to the sources. And that is a fact I heard as well, mainly Harris being very adamant about not wanting to travel down that road, him owning sports teams and all this other stuff. He recognized the pitfalls of being in bed with somebody like Epstein and he unequivocally told Leon Black to stuff it. Now Rowan, on the other hand, I heard was a bit more receptive to the idea, but at the end of the day ended up siding with, with Harris on this specific issue. Nevertheless, tensions between the co founders over Epstein, particularly between Black and Harris, persisted and became a key issue to Black's announce became a key issue as Black announced his surprise exit from the firm in March. And it's, it's folks, that's what it's always been. We've had a battle royale going on in this boardroom and Leon Black and Josh Harris have been locking horns over this Epstein situation for quite some time now. Making a bunch of money was able to, you know, calm the waters a bit right when this wasn't an issue that was in the front page all the time. Now that this issue is front page news and there's fallout from it, well, you see the results. You see how Harris pushed to move Black out of his position. Harris was thinking that he was going to step up and be the guy he got the end around. Pulled on him though. Rowan came out of retirement and put Harris on ice and slid right into that position. And now like we've talked about recently, Harris is going to be leaving the company. So all of this, all of this fallout is all due to Leon Black's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Last week, Harris said he was exiting the firm, leaving Rowan the sole remaining co founder to serve as chief executive. These assertions made by an unnamed source are completely untrue, said a spokesman for Black. I disagree with that. In fact, I will go out on a limb and say that I believe my source 100% over a spokesman for Black. At this point, everything leads to what the folks have said about what was going on in the boardroom at Apollo Global. Everything has been proven true. So it falls on deaf ears when Leon Black's spokesperson comes out and says, oh, none of this is true. None of this has happened. Leon Black has had a great relationship with these guys. Wrong. It's a lie. And this has been brewing for quite some time. According to sources, however, Black had been pitching Harris and Rowan on Epstein's prowess when it comes to tax and estate planning, the same services for which it was revealed earlier this year, Black had racked up an eye popping tab of $158 million with Epstein. Again, I don't buy that for one second. $158 million for advice, huh? Okay, sure. And if that advice was so great, why didn't Rowan and Harris jump on board? You would think guys that know how to recognize a way to make a few fazuls would be jumping on board. Or did they take a look at what was going on and see what the deal was and decided better of it? Again, I don't know. I wasn't in that boardroom. I have no idea what really occurred but one thing's for sure. Leon Black was in bed with Jeffrey Epstein to the tune of 158 million effin dollars. And that money was not for advice. Not in my opinion anyway. Beyond that, insider said Black was signaling that Apollo might hire Epstein as a consultant on investments while or possibly enter into investments with him, the sources said. Remember, it was never about that. It was all about advice. Right now it's about investments too. What did Jeffrey Epstein have on Leon Black? That's the real question nobody's asking. That's the, you know, the 5 million pound elephant in the room at this point. Since nobody else wants to ask it, I'll ask it. What sort of kompromat did Jeffrey Epstein have on you, Leon Black? You're out here singing this dude's praises, doing the happy dance for him. If you had a tail, that shit would be wagging. You're so happy to be around Epstein. What did he have on you? Black, despite being turned down by Rowan and Harris, doesn't like taking no for an answer, according to a source briefed on the situation. And for years he continued to float various projects with Epstein to his cohorts at Apollo. And at every turn, every single time he kept floating these projects, it was making Harris more and more agitated, according to the people I spoke with. And then when Epstein was busted the second time, that was pretty much the nail in the coffin for the relationship with Harris and Apollo. It wasn't long before this was all gonna fizzle out. Harris's plan was to push Black out. And with Rowan already being on ice, Harris was going to slide right into that position. But again, he got end arounded by Black and Rowan and cut off right at the knees. Ahora mascolos yeva cada projecto al siente mibel Ahora quince porciento. That in turn helped heighten tensions between the three executives, particularly Black and Harris, who were locked in a rising power struggle as Harris, steady, took on more day to day responsibilities running the $455 billion private equity powerhouse. Sources said. And it's, that's, that's a fact. That's definitely a fact. We've seen that for quite some time at Apollo. These two dudes were definitely locked in a power struggle and, and the Epstein situation is just the fulcrum. It's been a slow burn between Josh and Leon since a source said Leon would bring Jeffrey up and he was rebuffed in ways big and small. Josh Harris again is, is very critical of this whole entire situation. And I'm not going to sit here and say it's because he's a good guy. Right. I don't know him. I don't know what he does in his private life. But what I will say is this. The stench of Epstein is not a stench that he wanted anywhere near him. So much so that it's making him leave this gigantic powerhouse of a company. And this whole entire power struggle is based on the fact that Leon Black would not let go of his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Tensions over Epstein came to a head in January when Harris demanded that Black step down over concerns that his Epstein ties would tarnish the firm, sources said. In response, Black named Rowan his successor as CEO, a surprise move given that Harris had been taking on an increasingly crucial operational role while Rowan had been taking on fewer duties at the firm, according to sources. Yeah, Rowan was set up for retirement. He was on his way out. He was taking, you know, some easier, easier gigs doing a much easier load. And it was Harris who was set up to take the reins and become the big dog. And Leon Black, through the kibosh on that torpedo. That and. Well, you see where we're at. An investigation by the firm of the law firm Deckert, whose results were made public in January, concluded that while Black did not try to pressure his co founders to use Epstein, he did positively comment on the substantial value of Epstein's services and at Epstein's repeated request, did try to introduce Epstein to his co founders. Of course he did. That was all part of it, right? Rebuilding Epstein's image, being a vehicle for Epstein to ride into the stratosphere. And all of these stupid morons played their part to a T. In the end, neither co founder hired Epstein or consulted with him on their personal matters, the report released Jan. 22 said. While the report did not give a specific timeline for the disagreements over Epstein, Deckard has also determined that Epstein unsuccessfully sought to pitch business opportunities to certain Apollo senior executives, none of which were pursued by Apollo or those executives, according to the report. And it's just the same old story, right? Epstein had Black, and once he had Black, he thought he had the in. But Harrison Rowan somehow resisted. As previously reported by the Post, Epstein was listed as director on the board of Blacks charity, the Black Family foundation, between 2001 and 2012. At the time, Black's reps insisted that Epstein had been listed as a director for the four years following his conviction solely because of a clerical error. So again, these people with all this money in the world, all this power, all this nonsense, want you to believe that the only reason he was listed as a director was a clerical error. They really think you're stupid. They really think that nobody is going to dig deeper, that everyone's just gonna buy their narrative. And hell, why shouldn't they think that? We have for so long, with the help of a complicit legacy media, we've been force fed their bullshit for so long that we just accept it. Well, folks, those days are coming to a screeching halt. And the days of people like Leon Black operating in the shadows and and not facing any repercussions for their bullshit, well, those days are coming to an end as well. In this episode, host Bobby Capucci explores the deep and controversial connections between mega-investor Leon Black, Jeffrey Epstein, and Apollo Global Management, USA’s giant asset manager. Capucci dissects the ongoing ripple effects of Epstein’s relationships and financial deals, the internal power struggles at Apollo, and how regulatory bodies and major institutions — including the UN — are reacting to the fallout. The tone is sharp, unfiltered, and packed with Capucci’s trademark skepticism toward elite financial circles and regulatory “self-policing.”
While Capucci weaves in several news articles and references financial reporting, his central through-line remains the persistent lack of real accountability for the ultra-wealthy — especially those in the orbit of Jeffrey Epstein. The show connects these financial and legal dramas to broader issues of systemic injustice, regulatory capture, and institutional hypocrisy.
Bobby Capucci drives home a consistent point: Epstein’s reach extended into the highest echelons of finance, and despite the posthumous revelations, the system that enabled him — and men like Leon Black — churns on with little real correction. Whether in corporate boardrooms, regulatory agencies, or the storied casinos of Las Vegas, Capucci insists, “justice” for the elite remains performance art, not reality.
