What's up, everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. One of the more ridiculous claims in the new legal filings by Prince Andrew is him actually trying to tell us that him and Ghislaine Maxwell weren't homies. It is one of the most absurd claims I've heard in quite some time. And, folks, we've heard them all since we've been following this case. But Prince Andrew is adamant in these court filings that him and Ghislaine Maxwell, you know, they were just casual friends, you know, pass you by in the bar, give you a nod of the head as you're going to get a pint and keep it moving type friends, I guess. Meanwhile, the facts tell a completely different story. Tonight we're going to talk about an article from the Mirror that points to nine different times Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew were looking pretty chummy. But we're also going to discuss an article from the New York Post about Jess Staley before we even dive in about Prince Andrew and his cozy relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell. Now, Jess Staley is, well, I guess I should say was one of the most powerful men in the financial world. This dude was the gatekeeper over over at JP Morgan for a very, very long time. He ran the investment banking division over at J.P. morgan. And that is where all of the big shots come, you know, to do their wheeling and dealing with their money. They come in and, you know, these guys manage the money for them, make transactions, whatever it may be. This is what the division is there for. And Jess Staley was the guy who was the big shot over there, Mr. Head Honcho, Mr. Dude in Charge. And him and Jeffrey Epstein were really close. Another one of those relationships that doesn't get the kind of spotlight that it deserves. And it certainly does deserve a whole lot of spotlight. Just like the situation with Leon Black. When you have somebody like Jeffrey Epstein and he has access to movers and shakers like this in the financial world, what are we supposed to think when these people are lobbying for him? When these people are giving him $158 million for 100? I'm using air quotes right now, folks. Advice. What are we supposed to think? That it's all on the up and up, that these guys are just, you know, chums and they're hanging out, having a chat like the rest of us over, you know, crispy taco night? Nobody's buying it. Nobody believes that bs. And I'm not going to sit here and tell you that, you know, there's A room full of six people who are sitting around, you know, controlling the world or anything like that, I'll leave that to other people. That's out of my lane. But what I will tell you is this. People like Jess Staley, people like Leon Black, those people really hold the keys. If you're in control of the financial world, if you're in the. In control of the way, you know, the money is moving through the banking system, that would give you a lot of power, wouldn't it? And when you have some of the biggest people in the world in this industry hanging out with Epstein and facilitating his financial malfeasance, what are we supposed to say? Are we just supposed to just say, forget it? Turn our heads and say, ah, no big deal? Usually that's what we would do, right, if it was just the usual stealing and evading taxes and all of that jazz. Shrug our shoulders and move on? We have bigger problems. All of us gotta feed our families and we gotta continue to pay the poor people's tax, right? But they messed up, they really messed up when they thought that they were going to get over on us with this one. When they thought that the Jeffrey Epstein stuff was just going to blow over and everybody was going to forget about it. That's not the case. Nobody's forgetting about it. People want answers. And people like this, who were connected to Epstein, who were lobbying for him at a huge firm like JP Morgan, should be held to account. And I know he lost his job at Barclays, right? That's a good first step. But why haven't we had a real look into the financials here? You mean to tell me all of the financial transactions Epstein was moving through this bank were on the up and up? We already know that's not the case. We've already seen the fines that these banks have got slapped with for their malfeasance, for not respecting the FinCEN process. But none of these bankers, the men in charge, the women in charge, the people at the top, when do any of them get held accountable? Nobody goes to prison. None of these people ever go to prison. And that's because they're the ones that are holding the bag. And we all know what happens when a president gets elected in America. Inevitably, his whole entire cabinet transition staff, all of it, is filled with people from the financial sector. Then you wonder why the wheel just continues to go around and around. All right, so we're going to talk about this article real quick from the New York Post and Jess Staley. It's a relatively short article that's why we're doing it at the top end here of this episode and not doing an episode for this article alone. I don't think there's any point in doing an 11 minute episode. So we'll just tack it on here and then we'll add the other article right here to the back end. This article was authored by Lydia Moynihan and it was posted in the New York Post headline Ousted Barclays CEO Jess Staley reportedly backed Epstein at JP Morgan. I mean, it's just crazy. JP Morgan's like this gigantic house, you know, big time financial institution. And this is the sort of stuff they're really getting up to when all of the nonsense and you know, the curtains are pulled back and you peel their face off when they're talking about how woke they are or whatever. Really what they're doing is they're trying to refocus all of our energy and all of our, you know, rage, if you will, at each other as opposed to them. And they got a good glimpse of what was going on during Occupy Wall street and, and they understood that there was a groundswell coming against them so they changed their tactics. Meaning corporate America, right? And places like JP Morgan and these banking institutions, let's put on a friendlier face. But just because they say that that's what they are, just because they say that they're, you know, hip to the times. We all know that BS walks, right? It's a lot of BS from these companies because when you look at the way they conduct business, it's the same old or even worse than usual. Recently ousted Barclays CEO Jess Staley went to bat for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein when he ran the investment banking division at J.P. morgan. According to a report, J.P. morgan was examining whether to boot Epstein as a client because of his 13 month prison sentence tied to soliciting sex from a minor, meaning having sex with an underage girl. Soliciting sex from a minor. What an absolutely ridiculous charge. An absolutely ridiculous charge. There's no such thing as soliciting sex from a minor you're committing, you know, if it under a certain age, you're committing rape, statutory rape at the very least. But Staley, who ran the Giants investment bank, argued that Epstein had paid his debt to society and should remain a client. A according to the report Wednesday in the Financial Times. I mean, yeah, he really paid his debt to society, huh? Folks had to check into the jail for a couple hours a day, was able to run around, still conduct business, go to his office and according to some survivors continue to abuse people while there was a sheriff on duty. But nah, nothing, nothing was amiss down there in Palm beach either. I mean, really, he paid his debt to society, huh? There's not enough punishment on this planet for this dude to repay his debt to to society and forget that his debt to these survivors. Staley's efforts came after Epstein was convicted in 2008. According to the FT, JP Morgan eventually severed its relationship with Epstein in 2013, the same year Staley departed the JPM for a new job at a hedge fund before rising to run Barclays in 2015. Now, I guess it's just another coincidence, right? That's what people want to. That's what they'll tell you. Oh, it's just another coincidence. Me, I don't know what to call it. Sure are a lot of coincidences in this case. Camera's not pointing at the jail cell he happens to leave in 2013, right when the relationship with Epstein ends. You know, just a coincidence I guess, folks. But really what's going on here is you see the correlation. The relationship with Epstein and Jess Staley, it was a tight one and Staley was a huge, huge deal when it comes to making the money move. Staley's support for Epstein at JP Morgan underscores his long standing ties to the disgraced financier pedophile and how he advocated on Epstein's behalf well before it resulted in Staley's exit from Barclays late last year. In November, Rose reports surfaced that Staley and Epstein had exchanged around 1200 emails during Staley's 30 year tenure at JP Morgan. Some emails revealed questionable and unexplained phrases like Snow White, according to the ft. And we talked about this too. Snow White. I mean, look, you can delve into a lot of different things when you're talking about code words and find yourself down a lot of rabbit holes, but they're obviously using some kind of code here. Okay, now I'm not one of the wind talkers. I'm not going to sit here and tell you, oh, I've. I got my little decoder ring out of the Cheerio box and I figured it all out. But they're obviously up to something. Staley stepped down from Barclays in November after he reviewed initial findings from a probe by UK regulators into whether he had mischaracterized his relationship with Epstein as purely professional. According to the ft, Staley is contesting the findings. JP Morgan declined to comment to the ft. A spokesman for Staley also declined to comment. Shocking Right. And they'll get away with it. Nobody will hound these people. No way. They're too busy covering the Stormy Daniels case. Staley has stated his relationship with Epstein fizzled following the Banker's departure from J.P. morgan. And that's an ongoing theme, too, right? Oh, our relationship fizzled. Our relationship ended. Shocking. But even after he left the bank, helmed by Jamie Dimon, he visited Epstein at his private island in the Caribbean, Little St. James, according to reports. And I. You know, Jamie Dimon will never get called on the carpet for this either. Never. He's, you know, one of the golden boys for all of the political class. Remember, folks, who's holding the bag here? It ain't you. Well, you think your hundred, $200 donation to insert Politician here is moving the needle? They're not accepting your call when you call their office, are they? You're getting a staffer. You think Jamie Dimon gets a staffer if he calls the office of whatever politician he's looking to talk to? Staley worked at Blue Mountain Capital from 2013 to 2015 before nabbing the top job at Barclays in 2015. Meanwhile, Epstein began working with Deutsche bank in 2013. According to the FT, after being cut off by JP Morgan for following Staley's departure from JP Morgan, Epstein died in 2019 in prison as he awaited trial on charges he sex trafficked minors. Now, Deutsche bank is just a den of scum and villainy, and they've been slapped with so many fines that it's not even funny. And now my question is, how many people have they hit with the poor people tax? And what I mean by the poor people tax is the inflated rates of borrowing, the finance rates. How many people have they absolutely hammered with a 20% rate on a car for a piece of garbage car that's hardly going to last? These people are just gross. Honestly, at this level, when we're talking about this level of banker and the way they conduct themselves, you think they care about the survivors or that Jeffrey Epstein was a convicted sex offender? No way. He brought more money to their pockets, more prestige, opened some more doors, had some more relationships built for them. And like I always say, with people like this, the means always justifies the ends. And to the rest of us, we look around and we just shake our heads like, really? When's enough enough? Don't you people have enough money? Don't you have enough power? But for them, the answer is always no. Now, Jess Daley is somebody I've been talking about for a long time. And before the pandemic. I said that he, he was in big trouble back then and it took a little while. Obviously Barclays was trying to write the ship, if you will, during the pandemic and didn't want to upset the apple cart. But the writing was on the wall and it's no shock to me that he's out, especially considering we know how much deeper his relationship with Epstein went than they even let on. So that's where we're at with Jeff Staley and the situation he finds himself in currently. Now, onto our next article from the Mirror. This article was authored by Alana Kindred. Headline nine Times. Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell looked like good pals as he denies closeness. Now, we talked about this a little bit earlier. What a ridiculous claim. How are you going to say to anybody that you and Ghislaine Maxwell weren't close? It's. It's so ridiculous that his lawyers would even add this. I just don't even know what to say about it, honestly. Prince strongly as. Excuse me. Prince Andrew has strongly denied he was close friends with now convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. At least I got it right. And called her a convicted sex trafficker here. That's a good start. The Duke of York's reported attempt to distance himself from Maxwell comes as he has demanded a trial by combat, I mean, a trial by jury, denying to a New York court a catalog of sex abuse allegations brought by his accuser, Virginia Roberts. So obviously that was the first salvo for him answering these accusations and giving us this ridiculousness that we're talking about. Still tonight, on December 29, Maxwell, 60, was found guilty of offenses relating to her work as a fixer for the Duke's associate, Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile and billionaire. She faces up to 65 years in prison. So couple things. Duke's associate, Jeffrey Epstein, they were both the Duke's associates, okay. And I would say that he was probably closer to Ghislaine Maxwell than he was to Epstein. Even let's remember, Ghislaine Maxwell was the gatekeeper to the social climb ladder. Miss Roberts claims that Epstein and Maxwell made her have sex with the Duke three times when she was 17, including once in London. Prince Andrew has always strongly denied the allegations, but up until now, it was a very generic version of denial. Right? Well, he dropped his formal denial and I guess you can see why he kept it generic for so long, because he has nothing to go on. In an 11 page response to Ms. Roberts lawsuit yesterday, Andrew denied wrongdoing but he did say in this document that he met Epstein in or around 1999. The prince refuted her major claims while admitting to befriending Epstein, but denied he was ever a close pal of British socialite Maxwell. Trafficker Maxwell, you mean. And again, absolutely ridiculous, ludicrous, moronic, stupid, gaslighting, whatever you want to call it, it's all of that, because we know it's not the case. We've seen the pictures. The duke, 61, said it was not true. It was not true that he was a frequent guest of Epstein's various homes around the world, including New York City, where he sexually abused Virginia Roberts at Epstein and Maxwell's invitation when she was a minor. Andrew's strenuous denials of not being close with Maxwell comes years after the pair have been photographed together on multiple occasions. Around the world. I mean, yeah, around the world. Everywhere you can imagine, these two have been photographed together. They had a long history together, folks. And you don't have access to the palace the way she did or to the property the way she did if you're not close to somebody. Epstein and Maxwell at Balmoral. The photo of Epstein and Maxwell sitting in the Queen's log cabin in Glenbeg, Balmoral was taken in the late summer or early autumn of 1999. So there's one for you. You know, you got the picture of these two at Bala Moral. Certainly not a good look for them. The next, the next instance. Andrew Maxwell, Donald Trump and Epstein in Mar? A Lago, February 2000. Andrew was photographed with Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump. In the background, you see Epstein looking directly at the camera and Maxwell's face is seen peering into the frame on the right hand side. I mean, we all know that, that these people were all palling around together. It's not even a debate at this point. Now, we don't know exactly the specific roles of every single person involved, but we do know anyone that was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein knew what he was about, knew that he was not a normal guy. And if you were hanging out with him after the first conviction, you knew he was a convicted sex offender. Andrew and Maxwell at Ascot. Prince Andrew and Maxwell attended the royal Ascot in June 2000. They were photographed with Epstein, another one of the Duke's former girlfriends, Caroline Neville and her husband Edward Stanley. Andrew and Maxwell leaving the wedding of a former girlfriend. September 2000. The Duke attended the wedding of his former girlfriend, Aurelia Cecile with Maxwell. The pair arrived together but walked in separately. According to reports at the time A. I mean, look, all of these different examples are just more evidence of the BS he was trying to run on us. The next one. Andrew and Maxwell partying at a Halloween party. The pair were photographed together at supermodel Heidi Klum's Halloween party in October of 2000. Now, remember how close they were at this point in time? And now Andrew will tell you, oh, well, we weren't close. So what are you doing at the. The Hookers and pit? The. The. The Pimps and Hoes party? Hookers and Pimps theme bash at the Hudson Hotel. Because that's what you were doing at the Halloween party with. At Heidi Clum's Halloween party. So you're there with Maxwell, but you're not close. You don't know her. You just go to the Hookers and Pimps party. Pimps and Hoes party. I mean, when I worked in the joint here in Las Vegas, those parties were wild, absolutely insane types of parties. Invited on a shooting weekend at sandringham. Photos from December 2000 have shown Maxwell and Epstein on a pheasant shoot with Andrew. They spent the weekend in Norfolk at the Sandringham estate. Andrew spoke to the BBC Newsnight in 2019 about his links to Epstein. And when he was asked about that weekend, he said it was a straightforward shooting weekend, whatever that means. Anyone want to explain to the rest of us what that means? A straightforward shooting weekend? What you have bench shooting weekends? Crazy, crooked shooting weekends. What is a straightforward shooting weekend? Andrew photographed with Roberts and Maxwell in London. Now, we all know about this photograph. I'm not even going to go into it. Maxwell and Kevin Spacey's tour of the palace. So we know Kevin Spacey and Maxwell had a tour of the palace. Got the pictures, the whole nine. So again, how are you going to tell us that you're not close with Ghislaine Maxwell? And then finally for this article, but certainly not the last time they were hanging out. Andrew Maxwell Epstein and Harvey Weinstein at Andrew's daughter Beatrice's birthday in 2006. Beatrice's 18th birthday party was held at Windsor Castle. Photos published in the sun on Sunday shows now convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein with Epstein and Maxwell talk about the Three Stooges, the three gross, disgusting morons. Maxwell wore a feathered mask as she smiled in photos taken at the bash that was attended by some 400 guests. Epstein was being investigated by US authorities at the time he attended the party. Two months later, he was issued a warrant for sexual assault of a minor. You mean to tell me that Nobody warned the Prince. Nobody in the Foreign affairs office called over and said, hey, look, dude, Jeffrey Epstein's a sick fuck. Boys. What are you guys doing? Maybe they didn't, but I'll tell you what, either way, what's Prince Andrew doing? I mean, here's an idea. Why don't you Google the people you're hanging out with? During a Newsnight interview in 2019, Andrew claimed he didn't know about the proceedings and that Epstein had attended because he had invited Maxwell. So again, he says in the interview he invited Maxwell, but all of a sudden, him and Epstein were the close ones, and none of it makes sense, all right? The whole story he's pitching and this whole entire line that him and Maxwell weren't close might be what sinks him here. And that's why I wanted to focus on this again tonight. Pretty sure Judge Kaplan's gonna take a look at this and say the same thing I'm saying. What are you talking about, buddy? I see the evidence here. You were obviously close to her. And if you can't be truthful about the very basics, the small little nuance, then you're definitely not being truthful about the overall story either. So that's where it's at with Prince Andrew. And when you look at the. The rebuttal he put forward here, it is absolutely ridiculous. And for him and his legal team, I mean, maybe they were excited when they put that together. They all had a toast, maybe clanked a couple of glasses, thought they did a good job. But, boys, tell you what, barely getting a C grade here and lucky to get that because this whole entire response was not the right way to go about it, in my opinion. Anyway, I guess we'll have to see. We'll come back and we'll check this episode after all is said and done, and we'll see if I was close to the mark or not. But so far, when we're talking about these people and the way they've gone about defending themselves, this has not been the right way to do it. They've all failed. And I would expect to see Prince Andrew fail as well if he keeps this up especially. So tomorrow morning, we'll pick back up and we'll see what's going on with Maxwell and Epstein and Andrew and the rest of them. And you know that we're gonna have a couple of curves in the road, if you will, and some more bumps before we get to the end here, because there is so much more we do not know. For everything that we do know, there's A ton more that we don't know. And every day more becomes available. And as we get more document dumps and more things are unsealed, hopefully we'll get more information and the picture will become more clear. All right, everybody, that's gonna do it for tonight. I will be back tomorrow morning with a morning update. Obviously some context episodes coming your way in the meantime. And we'll be off and running. If you'd like to contact me, you can do that@bobby capuchirotonmail.com that's B O B B Y C A P U C c I@protonmail.com youm can also find me on Twitter Boy Capucci. The link that we discussed or the links I should say can be found in the description box. What's up, everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. One of the key figures when we're talking about following the money and talking about how Epstein was able to manipulate the financial system has to be Jess Staley. This is a man who was uniquely positioned to help Jeffrey Epstein along the way and to not only help him, but to offer him other avenues to get rich on the IPOs that he was offered. The Gratz hustle, the access to the other people. As far as the wealth fund goes, all of this was made possible by Jess Staley. And for Jess Staley, the relationship with Epstein was huge. Having a guy like that as part of his portfolio, a guy like that that could bring other rich people within the fold, that's worth its weight in gold to people like Jeff Staley. And who cares if Jeffrey Epstein is a scumbag? Who cares if he's a convicted human trafficker or a convicted sex offender at that point? Doesn't matter. And then for Jess Staley to leave the position he was in to only land over at Barclays is just beyond the pale. And Barclays will say, well, we had no idea. And they knew. They thought that this was all over and done with, though. They had no idea that Epstein was going to get arrested a second time and that the lid was going to get blown off of this thing once again. So they thought that they were in the clear. They thought they were never going to have to answer any questions about Jeff Staley and his relationship with Epstein. They thought that it was never, ever going to come back to haunt them. Well, guess what? Fast forward to today. And that is not a reality, is it? Because not only did it come back to bite them, they had to get rid of Jess Staley because there was no way that they were going to be able to navigate the waters that were coming up with Epstein and his stench dragging them all down. So see you later, Jess Daily. And Barclays, they'll, you know, wash their hands clean of it and, and they'll say, well, we did the right thing, we got rid of them. So, you know, we have nothing, you know, to do with any of this. But in reality, how many money launderers are moving their money through Barclays? How many other people like Jeffrey Epstein were being helped by a guy like Jess Staley? My guess is, and I can't prove this, folks, right, but my guess is a whole hell of a lot of them. And we know that the United States of America, we know that the uk, London specifically, are used as money washing spots and places to park this dark money and guys like Jess Staley and, you know, the folks that he rolls with who would know how to manipulate those systems better. Tonight we have an article from the Evening Standard that's going to talk a little bit more about Jess Staley. And tomorrow we'll get to see what Barclays paid Jess Daley on the way out. And I'm sure it's a huge amount of money, right? When it's a guy like Jess Daily, we're talking about, you know, he's not walking out the door for free, but they definitely would be willing to pay him, whatever, to get that stink off of them. Considering that they only got the preliminary results back from the investigation too, and they were able to get this amount of information just from the prelims, that was disturbing enough for them to make this decision on just these basic preliminary findings. It has to be a pretty bad report overall. So Jess Staley is basically finished, you would think, right? There's not going to be another institution that wants to pick him up or do business with him or anything like that. At this point at least I wouldn't think so. But who knows in the financial sector, you would think after the first go around with Epstein, he wouldn't have landed on his feet at Barclays. But here we are. Like I said, this is an article from the Evening Standard, and the author of this article is Simon English. Barclays poised to reveal what it paid Jess Staley as he left over Epstein scandal. The bank annual report is due out tomorrow Wednesday. How much money did Barclays pay to Jess Staley as he exited the bank owing to some unpleasant business with disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein? Now, that's definitely a huge question and it'll be again, it'll be an Obscene amount when we find out the actual number. And it'll be an amount where you say to yourself, must be nice. Must be nice to run around and be a scumbag and be rewarded for it. Imagine being so shitty at your job, somebody was willing to give you millions and millions of dollars to kick rocks and leave. That's basically what's going on here with Jeff Staley. Look, bro, you're such a pariah, you're such an embarrassment because of your behavior, because of your friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, that we're going to give you this big fat ass bag of dough and we want you to leave. The bank has results and an annual report out tomorrow, so we'll find out then. Assuming it doesn't mysteriously leak before then, of course. And I haven't seen anything about the payout yet, so I'm guessing it hasn't leaked, but maybe it's out there somewhere. Again. Tomorrow when we get those annuals, we'll have a better idea. But this guy is. It's just absurd. The whole entire thing is absurd. Why a payoff? Well, I could be wrong, but the wording of the statement at the time strongly suggests that money will have changed hands. Of course, again, this guy isn't walking out of the place and not getting any money. He's not walking out of this huge, gigantic job of his and not getting paid. It's just not. That's not reality. Even when these guys do scumbag, disgusting activities with other scumbags, they're protected most times by the language in their contracts. And most of these guys, when you're talking about this level of executive, they have golden parachutes. Even when they screw up, even when they act the fool. Barclays and Staley parted company last November after receiving the early conclusions of an investigation by the Financial Conduct Authority into how he had characterized his relationship with Epstein. And again, if you're getting jettisoned for a fat bag of dough over the prelims in the report, you gotta think that that report is just atrocious. And. And the things that report's talking about are not going to be a good look for Barclays and especially for Jess Staley himself. The watchdog thinks he didn't quite tell everything he should. In other words, Staley plans to fight the regulators. Oh, of course he does. Guys like this, their hubris knows no bounds, folks. He's not going to sit back and just let the regulators try and label him or put him in a box as one of Jeffrey Epstein's friends, even though he is Even all. Even though all of the evidence points that way, Barclay said at the time, in view of those conclusions and Mr. Staley's intention to contest them, the board and Mr. Staley have agreed that he will step down from his role as group chief executive and as a director of Barclays. So basically, what they're saying is you, you decided you wanted to fight these findings and the regulations. We're not standing beside you, we're not standing up and saying, hey, look, he has an argument here, there. He, he has been wronged. And they have access to all of this. They're the ones who initiated their own internal investigation as well. So for Jess Staley, it is definitely Armageddon type situation for this dude as far as his career goes at Barclays. Anyway, it added, the board is disappointed at this outcome. Mr. Staley has run the Barclays Group successfully since December 2015 with real commitment and skill. Yeah, well, before that, what was he doing? Oh, that's right, helping Jeffrey Epstein pillage money and put money offshore, stash money, look the other way when he knew what the source of Epstein's money is. Obviously, without a real investigation into all of this, you know, forensic accountants and the rest of it, we'll never get to the bottom of it. But how much more evidence do you need here? It's rather obvious what Jess Staley's operation was when it comes to hanging out with Epstein, what his purpose was. Staley was paid £4 million in 2020 and nearer £6 million in 2019. So the guy has already made a killing of a shit ton of money working for Barclays. Never should have had that job in the first place, but somehow people like this always seem to land on their feet, don't they? It's like the bad coaches in football. Like I always say, these retread football coaches, somehow you have never had a winning season, but now all of a sudden you're supposed to be a winning coach and you're going to be the guy that leads the team to victory. It's the same kind of nonsense here. Jess Staley, while a decent businessman, obviously, and good at what he does, I would guess that doesn't get rid of the baggage that he brings with him. And anybody who is paying attention to what's going on with Jeffrey Epstein and Staley's relationship with Epstein, it's rather obvious that these dudes were way close and that should have set off all kinds of alarm bells at Barclays. Whether the amount paid is purely a contractual obligation or not, it is plainly going to Attract headlines. If somehow the amount is zero, what does that say about what else is in the FCA investigation? And that's a big point, too. If it's nothing and he doesn't get any money out of this, that would mean that there is something seriously egregious that has been found in this investigation. And if that's the case, boy, I'll tell you what. Jeff Staley is in for an even worse ride than I might have assumed. Because if it's that bad and that egregious, the stuff that is found in this report, he will never, ever work again. Now, obviously, dude has more money than he'll ever know what to do with, but he'll never be able to facilitate these scumbags any again, ever again. And I look at that as a bit of a victory, at least. The FT reported last year that Staley exchanged 1200 emails with Epstein over four years. Maybe this is just because Staley is a chatty, indeed likable guy. Eh, Negative. Okay, we know that's not the case. I mean, look, you want to give him the benefit of the doubt. And for somebody who doesn't follow the Epstein case or who doesn't follow this whole entire situation, yeah, you could look at it as maybe them just being friends or acquaintances or whatever. But when you dig deeper and you see all of the different factors that went into their relationship, Staley going to the island to visit, all of the rest of it, it's very hard for me to look at it and say, oh, this was just a purely business relationship. And even if it was, this dude was facilitating all kinds of shady ass money moves. Stop talking, mate. Was one. Was sometimes inclined to think I thought I knew him. Plainly, I did not, is what Staley said to me about Epstein at an earlier juncture. Look, guys like Epstein, you don't really ever know guys like Epstein, okay? That's his idea is you're never going to get to know him. You're going to be used as a tool, manipulated, and positioned in a place that's going to help Epstein with whatever his designs are. That he stayed in touch after Epstein had a conviction for sex offenses doesn't say much for his judgment, though perhaps he is just, as he also once said, accident prone. Yeah, I guess that's it, you know, Just an accident prone guy. I had no idea that I was hanging out with Epstein. I just happened to fall into this relationship and I couldn't, you know, extract myself from it. What? The guy is another look, another buffoon. And I am not so much anymore. But I used to be so shocked that these people in these such powerful positions are such buffoons. The shame of it is he was very. A very good Chief executive. Profits tomorrow of perhaps £8 billion. Will speak to that. At Investech, Ian Gordon headed his latest note on Barclays harvesting Jess's rich legacy. Last night, Sky News reported that Barclays has frozen millions in share awards to Staley while the FCA probe continues. So he's not getting any of this dough after, as of right now. And even though he was at the helm and led them to some big gains, he's not going to reap any of those benefits, at least right now. Now we don't know what's going to happen in the future with the report and him challenging all of this. That can all change and he can walk away with a gigantic chunk of change, no doubt about it. But we'll have to. So it may be that he gets a flat 12 months pay, 2 and a half million pounds with the rest on hold. He holds shares worth more than £20 million. Plainly, Barclays would rather we focus on what it hasn't given Staley at least yet, rather than what it has. Well, that goes without saying. Look, Barclays doesn't need the bad publicity. They don't need people like me talking about this. But unfortunately for them, they hired this idiot, they hired this boob. And it wasn't like he didn't have the stench of Epstein hanging off of him. It wasn't like he was, you know, somebody who wasn't a known associate, a known enabler of Jeffrey Epstein when they hired him. Neither Barclays nor a representative for Jess Staley had any comment, and they definitely won't. That's not in their. They're not in the business of giving comments out when there's stories like this on the horizon or stories like this that are breaking. Not really interested in speaking to the media, but that's where we're at with Jeff Staley, folks, and this whole situation with his pay and how much is gonna get froze, how much he's going to get. Very, very interesting because it does give us a bit of a tell on what is in that report. If he comes away with this with nothing, that's definitely a huge sign that this report is going to be all bad for him. Now, I don't think that's going to happen. I'm pretty sure he's going to walk away with some money now. Probably some. Some Fazuls frozen on the back end there, and eventually he'll be made whole because these guys always get made whole in the end. But it's nice to see him sweating a little bit right now and at the very least having to answer for his enabling of Jeffrey Epstein at in this small little way. All right, folks, that's going to do it for tonight's update. Coming your way, some context episodes and an episode about the situation in Ukraine right now between Russia and Ukraine. In this "Mega Edition," host Bobby Capucci dissects the latest legal and financial revelations in the Jeffrey Epstein saga, focusing on two primary themes:
By unpacking recent reporting from the New York Post, Financial Times, the Mirror, and the Evening Standard, Capucci connects dots among the elite, challenging official narratives and corporate evasions.
"If you're in control of the financial world, if you're in control of the way the money is moving through the banking system, that would give you a lot of power, wouldn't it?" (06:51)
"There's no such thing as soliciting sex from a minor. You're committing rape, statutory rape at the very least." (11:18)
"These companies say they’re ‘woke’—but really, they’re just refocusing our energy and rage at each other, not them... When you look at the way they conduct business, it's the same old or even worse than usual."
— Bobby Capucci (09:22)
Email Evidence:
Corporate Responses:
"Imagine being so shitty at your job, somebody was willing to give you millions and millions of dollars to kick rocks and leave. That’s basically what’s going on here with Jess Staley." (43:36)
Investigation Fallout:
"How many other people like Jeffrey Epstein were being helped by a guy like Jess Staley? My guess is... a whole hell of a lot of them."
— Bobby Capucci (31:45)

This episode pulls no punches in exposing the enablers behind Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, focusing on how financial elites like Jes Staley protected Epstein's fortunes and reputations, while other figures such as Prince Andrew try—unconvincingly—to rewrite history. Capucci’s blend of fact-based reporting, sharp critique, and wry humor makes for a dense, revealing edition essential to understanding the intersections of money, power, and justice in the Epstein saga.
