Foreign what's up everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. It seems like every time we turn around, there's another high profile politician or somebody connected to a high profile politician who has ties to Jeffrey Epstein. And today we're going to talk about another one of these people. And that person is Catherine Rumler. Now, Catherine Rumler was the lead counsel for Barack Obama. So this lady's a lawyer, right? Well, she should know that Jeffrey Epstein's a sexual predator and a scumbag considering she went to the trial of Glenn Maxwell. You know what she also did? She also had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein all the way up till at least four months before he was arrested. So chew on that for a little while. This lady who's running around as Barack Obama's counsel inside of the White House is also breaking bread with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. But there's nothing to see here, right? We should talk about Alex Acosta some more. This article is from cnbc and the headline, jeffrey Epstein referred Obama White House counsel to JP Morgan as as a potential customer. This article was authored by Eamon Javers, Dawn Gill and Dan Manigan. Sex predator Jeffrey Epstein was involved in establishing a client relationship between Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler and JPMorgan Chase in February 2019, four months before he was arrested on federal child sex trafficking charges, a bombshell court filing revealed Tuesday. Now, we talked about Rumler before. What was she doing at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial? Why does this lady have such a vested interest in what's going on with Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's buddies? And if we had a legacy media that was worth its weight, it would ask these questions, but it doesn't. It waits for this stuff to come out in these court documents. Even though all of these people, all of these legacy media journalists, knew that this woman had ties to Epstein years ago. But because they can't out their faves, they just keep that shit on the back burner until they can anymore. And then once it comes out, they act like they're breaking the story. Rumler, who is now general counsel for Goldman Sachs, was touted by Epstein's personal assistant to J.P. morgan as an ideal customer, the filing shows. And you know what's really ridiculous? The fact that Donald Trump and all of his band of merry robbers get hit with a RICO charge. But none of these people have ever even sniffed any kind of RICO case. You mean to tell me that all of these folks that were with Epstein, taking money from him, sending him money, having him wash it, engaging in his criminal enterprise, they weren't engaging in an ongoing conspiracy? The RICO statutes were literally put into law to stop criminal enterprises like Jeffrey Epstein's. The fact is he was connected to way too many people that were powerful for that to ever happen. You mean to tell me that there was enough evidence for the USVI to open a SECO case, but not a RICO case? Stop it. The whole entire point for everybody involved, it seems like, is to get rich. That's it. Not justice. Certainly not any repercussions for the dirtbags who were involved. It suggests that JP Morgan take Rumler on as a client. Which the bank warmly embraced. Came almost six years after JP Morgan said it had effectively fired Epstein as a client after internal controls repeatedly raised red flags about him. So it's all a bunch of bullshit. JP Morgan, their stupid ass narrative, big fat lie. Usvi, their narrative, a big fat lie. Rumler, her narrative, a big fat lie. You see where I'm going with this? Everybody involved, they're all liars. And while Trump was president, we heard from a lot of people who had a lot to say about holding politicians accountable. Well, now that the shoe's on the other foot, I'm hearing a whole lot of silence from those very people. You know what that's called, folks? That's called hypocrisy. And anybody out here carrying water for any politician, no matter what letters next to their name, who was palling around with Epstein is part of the problem. And it came five months before Epstein killed himself, allegedly in August 2019 in a Manhattan federal jail where he was being held without bail pending trial. And it's also funny to me that all these knuckleheads out here, they'll talk about the government is crooked here, the government is involved in all kinds of COVID ups there. But when it comes to Epstein, oh, no, no, he killed himself. Didn't you read the OIG report? Yeah, I read it. And there was a bunch of absolute garbage, ok? That's what it was. We waited over four years for the OIG report and for the Inspector General to tell us that there were systemic issues within the Bureau of Prisons and, and within the doj. Like we didn't know that already? Nobody was held accountable. Nobody went to prison. Even those guards got off with a slap on the wrist. So what exactly happened in the wake of that OIG report? Nothing, okay? That OIG report was put out to help further the narrative that the government's been pitching this whole entire time. And that is. It was all just a big, gigantic mistake. And everything was a coincidence. And if you believe anything else, you're a conspiracy theorist. And the gaslighting continues. Rumler declined the comment through a Goldman Sachs spokesman. So why was she hanging out with this dude after he was already a convicted sex offender? And how come nobody is calling for her head? So where all of those loudmouths that were just yapping and yapping and yapping about Acosta non stop, but now that we got some meat on the bone here and. And the meat on the bone is some of their faves. All these people, all of a sudden, well, they have other things to talk about, huh? All of a sudden, it's not so much fun to talk about Epstein anymore and to try to politicize it. You know why? Here's some breaking news, okay? Both sides were in on it. None of your politicians care about you. And all the bullshit that you see on a daily basis, all the fighting, all the arguing, the majority of it is over artificially created wedge issues that they have created to keep you busy so you don't realize that your whole entire life is being pilfered by them. But go on with your bad selves and keep arguing whose shit smells better? Because the sad truth is, both of those political parties, that's all they're offering us. And the sad part is, people continue to lap it up by the metric. Tonight, CNBC separately emailed her to ask her how she knew Epstein and what knowledge she had of his history of being convicted in 2008 of a sex crime in Florida. So you mean to tell me that a lawyer who was the head counsel at the White House has no idea that Epstein was a sex predator? She had no idea, huh? We have to call and get confirmation about that. If you had a newspaper or a TV after 2008, I don't want to hear about. You had no idea who Epstein was. You knew. You didn't care. The Manhattan federal court filing detailing her connection to Epstein was filed by the government of the US Virgin Islands, which is suing JP Morgan. The American territory alleges that JP Morgan enabled and benefited from Epstein sex trafficking of young women to the Virgin Islands, where He had a home during the years he maintained accounts at the bank from 1998 through 2013. JP Morgan denies any wrongdoing in the case, where the territory is seeking at least $190 million in damages. Imagine trying to get $190 million for some shit you were complicit in as well. Must be nice. I wish I could double dip on both ends. The bank last month agreed to settle a similar lawsuit in the same court by an Epstein accuser paying $290 million to her and other Epstein survivors. The case is scheduled to go to trial in late October. Even after his exit, right up until his arrest in 2019, JP Morgan continued to work with Epstein, the Virgin Islands said in a filing. The filing says that JP Morgan admits Epstein was involved in the establishment of a customer relationship with with Katherine Ruemler, who was the longest serving White House general counsel under former President Barack Obama. I wonder how many drone strikes this lady okayed. I wonder if she's the one who gave the go ahead to use drone strikes on American citizens without due process. Probably a pretty decent question to ask, no? The filing says that in February 2019, Epstein's assistant, Leslie Groff, offered to introduce Mary Erdos, a top JP Morgan executive, to Rumler because she wanted to open an account with JP Morgan and Epstein thought the two of them would bond. Erdos escalated the referral to Stacy Friedman, JP Morgan's general counsel, who responded. She is a rock star litigator at Latham. I would think she would be a great client, the Virgin Islands said in its filing. So she's a rock star general counsel and a star litigator at Latham, but she has no idea that Jeffrey Epstein is a sex predator. That's what they want you to believe. As you all know, I'm certainly not some highly educated Ivy League jerk off. I do know that two plus two equals four. They even teach that in the public school system in Clark County. So all this other that they're talking about, oh, I had no idea. I didn't know what he was up to. Just miss me with all of it. I don't believe you. Let me go on the record right here, okay? All those people who say that, they are all lying, that is how I feel. And any of them that don't like what I have to say, well, they know where to find me. Rumler at the time, worked at the law firm Latham and Watkins. In 2020, she joined Goldman Sachs as a partner and and now is Goldman's chief legal officer and general counsel. The filing also said that Epstein at one time referred as a potential JP Morgan client Nicholas Ribisi, a gaming advisor who for decades ran casinos for former President Donald Trump. And all the nonsense about how Trump had nothing to do with Epstein and Trump didn't even really know him, that's all bullshit, too. Trump and Epstein were rolling together for quite some time. They had a falling out. And a lot of people say that falling out had to do with underage girls being pilfered from Mar a Lago. We know that Virginia Roberts was found there and that's why Donald Trump allegedly tossed Jeffrey Epstein from the property. But what about the times leading up to that point? There is no denying that leading up to their falling out that Trump and Epstein were boys. They most certainly were. Now, just like I say with Clinton, nobody has come forward and said that Trump was involved in abusing girls with Jeffrey Epstein. And I honestly find it laughable as hell when people try and set Donald Trump up as some kind of great warrior against human trafficking. Give me a break, dude. This guy was running these stupid ass modeling pageants and all the rest of that nonsense for how long? And we all know about the modeling industry. We all know about Gerald Marie, we all know about Jean Luc Brunel, and we all know Trump was involved in that world too. So look, all of these people that everybody want to put up on these pedestals as heroes, as people who really care about you, they're crusading for you again. They are not. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama, not Bill Clinton. None of them care about you. They care about wealth and power and they will say and do anything to attain it. Rebus did not immediately respond to requests for comment. JP Morgan claims in court filings that the Virgin Islands was itself complicit in the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, arguing that he gave high ranking government officials money, advice and favors in exchange for looking the other way when he trafficked young women. Well, yeah, that's a fact. Certainly something we've talked about here now, literally for years. And not for nothing, but I told you the second that that SECO suit was put into effect that this was all a cash grab and that the US Virgin Islands was just as complicit as JP Morgan.

So they had subpoena power. They were the ones running the whole island, so why didn't they stop Jeffrey Epstein. JP Morgan also argues that its former executive Jess Daly, who was friends with Epstein when he was a client of the bank, is responsible for any civil liability of the bank due to its business relationship with the sex offender. On Tuesday, newly unsealed court filings by the bank show that Epstein was asked by former U.S. virgin Islands Governor John de Jong Jr. For a loan of $215,000 after de Jong was arrested on embezzlement charges that were later dismissed. Epstein's company also paid De Jong's wife Cecile a $300,000 lump sum severance payment after Epstein killed himself in a federal jail, allegedly while awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges in August 2019. JP Morgan Documents say she had worked for Epstein at his Southern Trust company. Nah, nothing to see here, folks. The governor of the island. Okay, John de Jong Jr asked for a $215,000 loan because he got nailed for embezzlement. Also on top of that, his wife was working with Epstein and trying to manipulate the sex registry laws on the island. But there's nothing to see here. Everything's fine down in the Virgin Islands. Give them some more money. The documents also say that another Epstein employee who worked for him in the Virgin Islands was granted a US Customs and and Border Protection security seal, which allowed that worker to escort passengers through custom screening areas. And I wonder why they would need that. Oh, that's right. To bring underage girls through. To bring girls through without passports. You know, the whole nine. So it was JP Morgan's fault that that was happening too? Or did the US Virgin Islands have something to do with that? And again, I don't know how none of these survivors have filed a lawsuit yet against the U. S. Virgin Islands. If it was me, it would have been done yesterday. I'd be showing up there with a team of lawyers and I'd be demanding my share of the settlement that they've already got several times over. The bank and other court filings has said that Epstein paid for the school tuitions of the children of the De Jongs and that Cecile had made efforts to obtain student visas and a work license for young women. Connected to Epstein. A spokesman for the Virgin Islands Attorney General's office told CNBC that Epstein's loan to former governor De Jong occurred after he left office in 2015. The charges against De Jong were dropped in early 2016 by the Virgin Islands Department of Justice after he agreed to a separate monetary settlement. So down in the Virgin Islands you can do whatever you want. It's if you have a bag. That's what they're telling us. Leon Black, you can pay your way out. 62.5 million. Epstein, you want your estate out, cool. We want 105 million. And it goes on and on and on with no arrests, nobody going to prison, and certainly no motherfucking RICO case. CNBC has reached out to comment from John De Jong via an asset management company where he is the director. The Virgin Islands spokesman has also said that it was the federal government and not the Virgin Islands government that granted the U.S. customs and Border protections security seal. Oh yeah, again, the Virgin Islands is just a big victim here. They had no idea what was going on and this dude was just running amok on the island with none of the politicians aware of what was cracking off. The Virgin Islands has said that JP Morgan's leadership kept Epstein as a client for years, despite multiple warnings about him being raised internally at the bank, which included payments to young women and a 2008 sex crime conviction in Florida, which led to a jail term. In its new court filing on Tuesday, the Virgin islands cited a July 2011 email between Epstein and Erdos after JP Morgan's rapid response team decided that Epstein should be off boarded as a client and after JP Morgan's general counsel told Erdos that Epstein was not a person we should do business with. Period. Erdos and Epstein emailed after he and the bank agreed to settle his lawsuit against JP Morgan related to money he said he was owed by Bear Stearns, the investment bank taken over by JP Morgan. On July 26, 2011, Epstein wrote to Erdos, let's move on and make some real money. The filing said Erdos responded onwards and upwards on so many fronts. The filing said Epstein was not severed as a J.P. morgan client for another two years. The new Virgin Islands filings said that Staley, in his deposition for the lawsuit, disclosed the names of people and companies that Epstein had had referred to the bank as potential clients. An unsealed portion of Staley's deposition was made public on Tuesday. Among the high powered names listed in the court filing are Google co founder Sergey Brin, Sultan Ahmad bin Suleiman of Dubai, former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, former Treasury Department secretary Larry Summers, and television journalist Katie Couric. And there it is Charlie Rose, Katie Couric, George Stepanopoulos. And you wonder why this story was never really told. You wonder why a dumbass like me has to talk about this story every day. That's because your legacy media, the same people that are hyping you up to hate your neighbor, they refuse to cover this story because guess what? Some of their faves might have been caught up. And, and those are just the facts, okay? Those are the facts. People like Katie Couric, Charlie Rose, George Stepanopoulos, the at abc, they were more interested in making sure that they maintained their access to people like the Royals than they were about telling the story of the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein. And for me, anyway, I will never forget or forgive the dishonesty that the legacy media has shown that throughout this whole entire thing. And just keep in mind, if they lie to you about this, what else will they lie to you about? And what else are they lying to you about right now? Staley, who had been head of the bank's asset and wealth management divisions, testified that he met all those people at Epstein's townhouse on the Upper east side of Manhattan. The deposition also shows that Staley said that he had spoken to JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon in 2006 when Epstein was arrested on Florida State charges of procuring a minor for prostitution and solicitation of a prostitute. JP Morgan has denied that claim. Staley admits that in 2006 Jamie Dimon communicated with him regarding Epstein's arrest, the Virgin Islands said in the court filing. Staley also testified that honor about July 26, 2006, he spoke to diamond about Epstein's indictment because diamond was his boss. And the indictment of Epstein, a client of the bank, was a very, very public event. And that makes sense to me. I've been a manager before. I've had to come and talk to my boss about that went wrong. So why would we think that the same wouldn't hold true for Jess Staley and Jamie Dimon? Elsewhere in the deposition, Staley answered questions about going to see Epstein, asking after an article was published in 2006 that said Jeffrey Epstein crave big homes, elite friends and investigators say, underage girls. The article also stated that two of Epstein's former employees told investigators that young looking girls showed up to perform massages two or three times a day when Epstein was in town. The Virgin Islands filings said on July 25, 2, 2006, Staley met with Epstein in person at Epstein's home. In that visit, Epstein admitted to the alleged conduct of engaging in sex for money with young women only denying the ages. Staley afterward wrote Erdos, I went and saw him last night. I've never seen him so shaken. He also adamantly denies the ages. Staley wrote Erdos the filing notes. In his deposition, Staley was asked the conduct that he was being accused of. He was admitting that he did. He was just denying that he knew the ages of the victims, right? Staley replied, correct. And you were reporting that back to the bank and that was being denied is the ages right? A lawyer for the Virgin Islands said Staley said, right. He then conceded that the bank knew that Epstein had admitted to to engaging in sex for money with young women while denying they were underage. The lawyer then asked, and so when the bank is receiving that information, they now know what you know, which is this is the type of conduct that our client is engaging in and the only dispute that he has about the allegations are the ages of the victims, right? Scaly replied, that's correct. So what's the moral of the story here? The moral of the story is they all knew, they were all in on it and it doesn't matter what political party they're a part of. Alright folks, that's gonna do it for this one. All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box. What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. I don't think there's any debate at this point just how close Jeffrey Epstein was to the Clintons, yet nobody ever wants to talk about it. It's one of those unfortunate facts for a lot of people. But you know who has talked about the Clintons involvement with Jeffrey Epstein quite a bit and it's going to shock some of you out there. And that's the Daily Beast. Now Kate Bricklett from over at the Daily Beast has talked quite a bit about the Clintons and their involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. And that should be acknowledged because it can't be easy to do over at the Daily Beast, right? Certainly not a right wing paper if you will, not a paper that is known to go after people like Epstein. But guess what? Sometimes the truth matters. And if the truth happens to run over one of your quote unquote political faves, then so what the question you should be asking is why were they involved with these scumbags in the first place? Not how can I rehabilitate their image. Today we have an article from the Daily Beast and the author is Kate Bricklett. This article was published on November 2nd of 2020. Headline what was Clinton White House lawyer doing.

At Epstein's arraignment
B
in July 2019, all eyes were on Jeffrey Epstein as he entered a Manhattan federal courtroom in prison. Blues and orange sneakers, the reclusive multimillionaire pedophile used a luxurious jaunts around the globe with powerful friends, appeared disheveled as he was charged with sexually abusing dozens of underage girls. Boy, has there ever been somebody who deserve that more? Has there ever been a person who's deserved to have to do the perp walk, been brought into jail, brought into prison and embarrassed the way this scumbag was? The only thing that would have been tastier was to see the process through and actually give these girls some justice. Police had arrested the 66 year old financier pedophile two days before. And the packed crowd of journalists, lawyers and and survivors now watched him plead not guilty to child sex trafficking charges more than a decade after he avoided serious prison time for molesting scores of teenage survivors at his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida and elsewhere.

We know that.

But while the press focused on Epstein, one high profile spectator apparently went unnoticed, at least unnoticed by most. Two eyewitnesses say former White House lawyer Catherine Rumler was at Epstein's court appearance that day. In his support, the Daily Beast has learned. Now, remember, I didn't go and drag this out of Breitbart or whatever the right wing outlets are. This is the Daily Beast telling you this. So it's up to you if you want to feign cognitive dissonance and act like you don't know what the Clintons are up to or do you want to see them be held accountable like everybody else should be? And the question again is, why is a lawyer who is working directly with the Clinton foundation and the Clintons showing up here as support for Jeffrey Epstein? Ask yourselves why that would happen. And then if it was just this, you could say, ah, you know what? Maybe they had a professional relationship and she was there as a professional friend. Even that's gross. You could understand, but that's not the case. Why is she there supporting Jeffrey Epstein? Two people who separately attended the hearing said Rumler, who served as White House counsel during the Clinton and Obama administrations, had a professional relationship with Epstein and was seated behind his defense team. I mean, for real, of all the people you can go and support, this is the guy. You go and do it. This is the second time around. Now remember, this isn't the first arrest, this is the second time. So anyone who's still supporting him at this point, knows what he is, knows who he is, and knows what he is. So what was Katherine Rumler doing there? At the time, Rumler was a partner at Latham and Watkins and global chair of the law firm's white collar defense and investigations practice. Abstein Knewer, one source with knowledge, told the Daily Beast of her appearance in court on July 2019, he had a professional relationship with her. I think he may have reached out to her to be involved in the case. The source said Rumler's appearance was probably just a show of support. Even showing up there is a bad look. Nobody's going to question Bill Clinton. Why his lawyer showing up to support Jeffrey Epstein. She worked for a large, prominent firm, the person said. There was some exploration of her joining the defense team, but it wasn't going to happen. Rumler did not return messages seeking comment. A spokeswoman for Latham and Watkins said neither the law firm nor Rumler represented Epstein. She did not return follow up emails from the Daily Beast. Well, why would she? What kind of good answer could she possibly give you of why she's there to support Jeffrey Epstein? Martin Weinberg, a lawyer for Epstein since 2008, said Ruemler didn't represent the financier and wasn't a member of the defense team led by himself and Reid Weingarten. I can state with certainty that Kathy Ruemler did not represent Mr. Epstein and did not appear at any hearing at any time on his behalf, weinberg said in an email. Rumler has previously represented. Here you go. The Clinton foundation and George Nader, a key witness in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, who was sentenced to 10 years behind bars for child sex trafficking. Interesting connections to the Clinton foundation, huh? Now, how much money. Can someone refresh my memory? How much money did Jeffrey Epstein pony up for the Clinton Foundation? Oh, yeah, that's right. A whole lot. She left Latham and Watkins in April to become global head of regulatory affairs at Goldman Sachs. Huh. Another fantastic spot to land at after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg last month. Fox News reported Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden possibly put Rumler on the short list of nominees to fill a future SCOTUS seat. Why not? Ah, you know what? Bring them all in. Who cares? It's all about appearances and optics anyway, right? The other side's evil. They're the boogeyman. But these guys are doing the same thing. How many bankers are you going to have throughout the Biden administration? How many ex CIA officials? Give me a break already. Indeed, Rumler and other Obama era officials hosted a D.C. event for Biden the last November as his fundraising waned before the primaries. According to the Washington Examiner, Ruemler told the crowd the 2020 election came down to character and there is no one who has the strength and the quality of character. No other like Joe Biden. Ruemler has long traveled the revolving door between public service and Latham. And Watkins, who's a phalnix of former high ranking government lawyers, inspired a Wall Street Journal blog to call the firm the DOJ's home away from home. Look, how many more ties do you need between the Department of Justice and Jeffrey Epstein? Nobody's saying that Rumler was there to defend Jeffrey Epstein. At least I'm not. But why was she there in the first place? Shouldn't she have to answer for that? And just another tie to Bill Clinton. At what point do you look at all of this and say, all right, we have to get to the bottom of it. There needs to be a full on investigation to see what Bill Clinton's role in all of this was. At Latham, Rumler defended companies and high stakes litigations and led internal probes into misconduct and averted indictments through Department of Justice declinations or decisions not to prosecute, which are similar to non prosecution agreements. She did however, secure a non prosecution agreement for Microsoft Hungary, which last year paid 8.7 million in penalties to resolve a foreign bribery case. Now, I don't fault her for any of that stuff, right? Not at all. You're a lawyer. This is what you do. I understand that lawyers are pretty scummy and they're going to do scummy things, but my question is what's your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein? With why would you be in this courtroom and how does it relate to Bill Clinton? Her career began with a clerkship under a federal appeals judge, followed by a job at litigation boutique Zuckerman spader in Washington D.C. before she was hired as a lawyer for President Clinton from 2000 to 2001. She then moved to the Justice Department where she she made headlines as a lead prosecutor in the Enron financial fraud trial. Weingarten, One of Epstein's D.C. based legal eagles, faced off with Rumler when he represented Richard Causey, Enron's former chief accounting officer who pleaded guilty to securities fraud. Nah, no connections here. Nobody knew anybody. This is all just another big coincidence. In 2007, she left government for Latham and Watkins. She joined the Obama administration. Two years later as the principal associate Deputy Attorney general at the DoJ, Ruemler replaced her mentor Bob Bauer as White house counsel in 2011 and became one of President Obama's closest confidants when she announced her resignation in 2014. Obama said, Cathy has become one of my most trusted advisors over the past few years. I deeply value her smarts, her judgment and her wit, but most importantly, her uncanny ability to see around the corners that nobody else anticipates. Boy, we could go in a million directions with a president saying that, huh? I guess the real question should be, and it's a pretty simple one, considering she's obviously one of the smartest women in the room. What were you doing at Jeffrey Epstein's trial? Why were you there? What were your interests in that? What's your relationship with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation? And what sort of contact did you have with Jeffrey Epstein throughout the years? Pretty simple. You see how quickly that happened. Get her on paper, let's get her under oath, and let's see what she has to say later. Asked in an interview how she'd like to be remembered, Rumler paraphrased Bauer, she told it like it was. She never put even light icing on the cake. Well, that's all fine and well and, and I'm sure she's a great lawyer and probably a decent human being, but are you going to answer the questions that have to do with this or no? After the Obama White House, Rumler returned to Latham, but was soon in the running to replace Attorney General Eric Holder. But she withdrew her name from consideration, reportedly because she feared her closeness to Obama and her handling of matters, including the 2012 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi and and the Secret Service prostitution scandal in Cartagena, Colombia, would make for a difficult confirmation process. Or she just didn't want to be aired out. Let's just call it what it is. Why do we always dog walk around this? What did she do down there that was so bad? She felt strongly that it would not serve the department well and that it certainly wouldn't serve the president well. To have the confirmation process be a series of partisan attacks on the president, rather than a reasoned approach to what the Department of Justice really needs right now, one source told Politico. Look, it doesn't matter who you bring up there as a president, they're going to go after him. The other side, they're going to act like fools and cause a bunch of gridlock. That's how this game is played. Under the Clinton administration, Rumler defended the White House in congressional investigations and independent council issues, including those related to former Pentagon worker Linda Tripp, who famously taped colleague Mona Lewinsky, according to one Washington Post profile on Enron prosecutors. So you, you know, she was a Clintonista. She's locked in, she's drank the Kool Aid, and she'll do whatever she can to protect good old Bill. Was she there to keep an eye on the child, to make sure nobody mentioned Bill's name? I don't know. I don't have any evidence to prove that. But. But I'm just speculating, you know, like the Washington Post does or the New York Times don't. They love to just speculate. But rumors ties to the Clintons didn't end with Bill's presidency. She's mentioned in emails published on WikiLeaks, including those belonging to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign chair, John Podesta. One email attachment listed rumler under a March 2016 list of possible campaign vetters, while several other emails indicated Rumler was a participant in more than one bi weekly Hill strategy call. Why should it shock you? Very close to the Clintons. They want people around them. Look, you think that a psycho sycophants are something that is new. The Clintons been surrounded by them for years, and nobody ever was really breaking ranks until a guy like the Doug banded. And here's where the Epstein stuff really comes into play, in my opinion. In August 2016, Rumler was identified as the Clinton Foundation's principal lawyer when Reuters as well as the New York Post reported the organization hired a security firm in the wake of suspected hacking. It's unclear how long she represented the Clinton family charity or what other work she's done for them. Rumler also recently defended the Democratic National Committee and Perkins Coy, the law firm representing Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign, in a defamation suit filed by Carter Page, a former campaign adviser to Donald Trump. Now, does that sound like somebody who isn't close to the heart of the Clintons? Somebody who isn't trusted? So again I ask you, why was she at Jeffrey Epstein's trial? What was she doing there? And we all know that Epstein had ties to the Clinton Foundation. We all know he had ties to the Clinton Global Initiative. So what was she doing there? And what were her ties to Epstein? That's the real question. Nobody ever hammers it down, though. Nobody ever puts Bill Clinton on the carpet. You know, they handle him with kids gloves. Page claimed the parties developed the Steele dossier, which was replete with falsehoods about numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign, leading the feds to wrongfully and covertly survey surveil Page as an agent of Russia. A federal judge in Chicago tossed Page's lawsuit in August, saying the court lacked jurisdiction. Page filed a similar suit in Oklahoma in 2018, but it was dismissed from for the same reason. Now we're not going to dive into all of that, but there certainly was a lot of weird stuff going on and there certainly still is a lot of weird stuff going on as far as the courts go, as far as the misdirection goes. Rumors alleged ties to Epstein raised further questions on the financier pedophiles high powered connections including Bill Clinton. Clinton's name has surfaced repeatedly in court filings with related to Epstein and his accomplice co conspirator general all around scuzzbag Ghislaine Maxwell. And he took international trips with the perverted pair on Epstein's private jet. And we know it was more than that. The former president denies knowing anything about Epstein's abuse of young women and girls and denies one survivor's claims that he visited Epstein's Virgin Islands compound. So he's basically calling Virginia Roberts liar. So there's your hero, Bill Clinton. For all of you out there who still think this is a good guy, I don't know how you can support these survivors and act like Bill Clinton isn't somebody who should be targeted for a more a more thorough look here because the red flags are everywhere and if you deny them, well, that's on you. Several Clinton staffers are listed in Epstein's infamous Rolodex and including Cheryl Mills, who was deputy White House counsel for Clinton during his 1999 impeachment trial. Mills was an advisor to Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential run and chief of staff when Clinton became Secretary of State. And also let's remember when Hillary Clinton was at Secretary of State and she was in charge, she gave Alexander de Rossi, Ghislaine Maxwell's nephew, a job at the State Department where he went on to work on the the glorious Arab Spring. How did that work out for everybody? Along with Podesta, Mills oversaw Clinton's search for a running mate in 2016 and was included in emails with Rumler. In years past, both Epstein and Maxwell donated thousands to the Clinton foundation and Clinton Library. That's more than that. Okay, Millions, millions and millions, not thousands. And that's from Epstein's own lawyers. We've went over that before. We've read the articles, we've provided the receipts. When Epstein's lawyers secretly negotiated a plea deal for his abuse of minors In Florida in 2007, they plugged his friendship with former President Clinton and claimed he helped to create the Clinton Global Initiative. There you have it, folks. Daily Beast telling you that, not me. I'm just here to offer up my opinion to go along with it. And from where I'm sitting, it's all straight garbage. The whole entire thing is corrupt. Every single person that was involved in all of this nonsense needs to be called on the carpet, and the days of handling the Clintons with white gloves need to be over. But the problem is, there are no journalists out there that seem to have the courage to do so. So until then, we'll be here picking up the slack and letting you all know just how close Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein really were. What's up everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. As the Jeffrey Epstein related fallout continues to rain down, people are starting to pay a price. And one of those people is Katherine Rumler, the former Obama White House counsel and currently the top lawyer at Goldman Sachs. And honestly, it's a long time coming. This isn't some revelation. If you follow the story, you know about Katherine Rumler and you know that she was offering Jeffrey Epstein all kinds of advice and strategy to help fight the charges that he was facing. And even though he was a disgusting animal, she had no problem remaining his friend. Especially considering that friendship also came with a lot of perks, such as a $9,350 handbag, which is wild to me considering how rich this lady is. Anyway, you mean to tell me Ms. Big Shot Lawyer here can't come up with $9,350? So it's not just the perk, right? Not just the bag. She actually really enjoyed Jeffrey Epstein. She enjoyed his company, she enjoyed his friendship, and she certainly enjoyed his patronage. Today's article was published by Reuters and the headline jeffrey Epstein gave her a 9350 handbag. But did Goldman Sachs departing top lawyer violate any rules? This article was authored by Jenna Green. Well, maybe not any rules of the trade, but she certainly broke all the rules of morality. And considering the shitstorm, Goldman Sachs is certainly in the right letting her go. Now, of course she'll say she's stepping down. But you know, the pressure came from the top shareholders, people on the board members. Nobody wants to deal with this shit. And that's because all of you have kept the pressure on. So every one of you who have been engaged, following along and demanding justice should give yourselves a pat on the back. Because you're the real engine behind all of this. Not my big mouth, not anybody else talking about it. It's all of you folks who are demanding justice and who refuse to be told to move on. Because I promise you, if you aren't making the kind of stink that you're making, they would have already moved on. We'd have no files, nothing. So the whole entire thing as far as where we are is because of folks like you. Goldman Sachs top lawyer Katherine Rumler faced fierce criticism on social media and calls for her ouster following revelations that she accepted thousands of dollars worth of gifts from Jeffrey Epstein when she was previously a partner at a law firm as a matter of attorney ethics. Her conduct didn't appear to violate any professional rules, but it raised questions of judgment. Some legal ethics experts told me, well, it really comes down to the blowback. They might wrap it in some kind of dressing. Oh yeah, it was about ethics. It was about this, that, the other thing. But really it's about pushback they don't want to deal with, with you folks going bananas. And they now know that this isn't gonna just blow over. So they had to do something. And that something is removing Katherine Rumler. Late Thursday, Rummler announced her resignation as Goldman's chief legal officer and General Counsel, effective June 30. My responsibility is to put Goldman Sachs interest first, Rumler said in a statement. Goldman chief executive David Solomon, who had initially stood by Rummler, said in a statement that Rumler has been an extraordinary general counsel and will be missed. Ah, don't worry. I'm sure you can find another pedophile adjacent person to come and take the reins. A spokesperson for Rummler, who served as White House counsel during the Obama administration, said earlier this week that she was never Epstein's lawyer and that she had done nothing wrong. Okay, so that's pretty important, right? She's saying that she has never been Epstein's lawyer. So that means that there is no lawyer client privilege. So they can't hide behind that. Let's just keep that in mind moving forward as more information comes out about Katherine Rumler. Ethic rules for lawyers offer few guardrails on propriety of accepting gifts. Most state bars have have adopted an American bar Association rule that says a lawyer may not solicit a substantial gift from a client. But the rule doesn't prevent a lawyer from accepting an unsolicited client gift, no matter how valuable, said Fordham School of Law ethics professor Bruce Green. Nor are lawyers barred from soliciting or accepting substantial gifts from a former client or other non client. Look, let's not get caught in the weeds here. That's not what this is about. It's not about a $9,350 bag. It's about her judgment being skewed. It's about her judgment being terrible. It's about her associating, frolicking and enjoying the company of a convicted sex offender. I mean, if you're Goldman Sachs, do you want this lady representing your company? I know I wouldn't. Talk about a nightmare if she can't even figure out that Epstein's a piece of you really want her in charge of negotiating billion dollar deals and whatnot. Seems like a situation that you try to avoid at all costs. According to Rumler's spokesperson Jennifer Connelly, Rumler knew Epstein through her prior work as a criminal defense attorney, received referrals from him, and was friendly with him in a personal context. Epstein also occasionally sought her informal legal advice and she responded based on what she knew and often in ways designed to placate him without having to actually get involved. Connelly wrote in an email. Oh, still lying. Still lying about the relationship. Just admit it. Just admit that you enjoyed his company, you knew what he was and you didn't give a about the people he hurt. I'm so tired of the lying, the bullshitting, the mental gymnastics. Goldman has a 39 page code of conduct that includes instructions on giving but not receiving gifts from clients. It also prohibits employees from engaging in outside activities that create conflicts, reputational risks or any other negative impact to the firm or our clients. I mean, right there is cause for firing. You want to talk about reputational risk? You want to talk about a serious problem folks?
B
This is it.
D
Imagine being a board member, somebody that holds a large number of stock over here. Imagine what you're thinking right now. And make no mistake, the only reason she resigned is because they were letting her save face. She was on her way out no matter what. It's unclear to what extent the rule was have obligated Rumler to disclose her prior association with the notorious financier whose death in 2019 was front page news or if such disclosure was made. Rumler was hired by Goldman in April of 2020. They already knew they didn't care. Just like the rest of these people. It's always the same story right after the fact. They'll tell you, oh, we care so much about Epstein survivors. We care so much about what Epstein was doing. But the reality is when they had a chance to not hire him, to not associate with him, they sure had no problem doing it. Goldman spokesperson Tony Fratto told Reuters last week that Epstein often offered unsolicited favors and gifts to many business contacts. Rummler accepted the gifts between 2014 and 2019, when she was a partner and at Latham and Watkins, according to emails recently released by the US Department of Justice. The law firm says Epstein was not a client and declined further comment. Oh, I bet they did. I bet you they're running for cover. If they have a bunker, they're hiding in it. Law firm consultant Lisa Smith with Fairfax Associates said that while some firms place limits on gifts from vendors, she hasn't seen partnership agreements that address non clients. It would be difficult to define that, but it's possible that exists, she said via email. Latham's partnership agreement is not publicly available, and the firm does not publish a code of ethics for its lawyers on its website. Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida state court in 2008 to felony solicitation of prostitution and procuring a person on under the age of 18 for prostitution. Just to be clear, if you're under 18, you can't be a prostitute.
B
Okay?
D
You're a child who's being manipulated, groomed, abused. I hope that was clear for everybody in the back. In July of 2019, he was arrested on a sex trafficking charge and died a month later in a Manhattan jail cell in what New York City's chief medical examiner called a suicide. Based on my review of a sample of more than 9,000 emails from 2014 to 2019 that mention Rummler's name, the exchanges offer few indications of why the gifts were given or what, if anything, Epstein expected in return. A purse from Bloomingdale's in 2017 was said to be a birthday present, and on Valentine's Day in 2018, Epstein treated Rumler to a Glam Squad hair and makeup appointment. At least twice he sent chicken soup when she was sick, the emails show. So how many of you out there have sent chicken noodle soup to somebody who's sick that you didn't really know? I'm sure everybody's out there running to the store right now to get some of that chicken noodle soup to send to a stranger. These people really think you're stupid. That's what they really think, and they're hoping beyond hope that the water carriers that are out here in the media do the job for them. Oh, well, you see, this wasn't that big of a deal.
B
Everybody does it, yo, full stop.
D
No, everybody doesn't do it. Only you sick degenerates. I adore him. It's like having another older brother. Rummler wrote in a 2015 email to Epstein's assistant. Also buried in the DOJ's document release, a 2016 email from Epstein forwarding a flattering column I wrote for a legal publication about Rummler's work on behalf of a Dubai bank. The email appears to have been sent to executives at Swiss bank Edmund de Rothschild. Well, we know he was working for the Rothschilds, and I know that sounds like some crazy ass Alex Jones level shit, but it's true. According to Connolly, the bank was a client of both Epstein and Rumler. And from the emails, it appears that Epstein had facilitated her introduction to the client. Emailing Rumler in 2014 that Edmund D. Rothschild had a DOJ problem. Without elaborating, he asked if she was prohibited from involvement. No, no prohibition, she responded. A spokesperson for the bank did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Well, well, well, what was she doing? What levers were being pulled? And did Rummler play any part in the Obama administration hiding this and covering this up? Because make no mistake, the Obama administration had all this information. They knew what was going on. They knew what Epstein was, and they hit it, too. So Thomas Massie the other day hit the nail on the head, but he didn't go back far enough because this started during Clinton's first term and it's been going on since. So all the people out here that want to pass blame, blame everybody else.
B
I got to tell you, it's everybody's fault.
D
Neither side has cared about this, and that's why we find ourselves in the position that we're in. But when you have somebody like Katherine Rumler, who is this high up, who is somebody that's the White House counsel and they're being asked to step in and, you know, help out with the doj, that's a problem. And if Prince Andrew and Mandelson are going to get hemmed up, don't you think that people that were in a position like Rumlers here in America should also face serious scrutiny? I most certainly do. Reuters was unable to establish what issue Epstein was referring to or whether Rummler was ultimately retained to work on it. Rumler's bounty from Epstein included a Hermes purse priced at $9,350 in 2016 and a Fendi coat and bag costing 6,800 in August of 2018, according to emails released by the DOJ. Other gifts include wine, flowers and a massage at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C. the email show Boy, must be nice, huh? Out here on the Predator's dime getting your legs rubbed. Hope you enjoy yourself because I can assure you that the girls that were involved with massaging Jeffrey Epstein and his gross ass friends, they didn't have very much fun. Should Rummler have known better than to accept? With the benefit of hindsight, it seems easy to say yes and to see Epstein's campaign of largesse as a deliberate move to get a leading lawyer in his corner, even unofficially. Still running cover for your friend here, huh? Let's just face it, Katherine Rumler piece of okay, point blank period. No cover.
B
That's it.
D
That's what she is. And this is why I'm calling for a special counsel. Someone that goes back and looks at everything. Obama, Bush, Clinton, everybody. Everything has to be on the table. In 2018, the Miami Herald and other news outlets reported in detail on allegations of sexual abuse by teen girls against Epstein. Oh stop it. It was widely reported the first time around. Don't even sit here for a minute and act like you had no idea. That shit is not gonna work. Rummler spokesperson said her views on Epstein were shaped by his denial of any wrongdoing other than what he had pled guilty to years prior and that if she had known what she knows now, she never would have dealt with him at all. By the nature of their practice, criminal defense lawyers are going to have relationships with unsavory people. What lawyers need to keep in mind is whether such relationships could reflect poorly on on their firm or company, said Downey Law Group founder Michael Downey, whose firm focuses on legal ethics and lawyer discipline defense. Especially if gifts or favors are involved, the rules of professional conduct don't necessarily come into play, he said. Instead, it's ultimately a question of judgment. Well, folks, I don't think there's any question that she used poor judgment. And while she was having a great time getting her massage and having her Hermes bag, that Epstein bill is now due and Katherine Rummler is paying up with interest. Host: Bobby Capucci
Date: June 5, 2026
In this explosive "Mega Edition" of The Epstein Chronicles, host Bobby Capucci scrutinizes the deep and unsettling connections between Kathlyn (Kathy) Ruemmler—former Obama White House Counsel and ex-General Counsel for Goldman Sachs—and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Capucci probes media silence, legal maneuverings, and partisan hypocrisy surrounding Epstein’s elite network, with a special focus on Ruemmler’s recently resurfaced interactions with Epstein and what they indicate about the broader web of high society complicity. The episode goes further to dissect newly-released court documents and news coverage, linking Ruemmler’s role with powerful figures across business, politics, and law.
“So you mean to tell me that a lawyer who was the head counsel at the White House has no idea that Epstein was a sex predator?” (Bobby Capucci, 10:20)
“The RICO statutes were literally put into law to stop criminal enterprises like Jeffrey Epstein’s…But none of these people have ever even sniffed any kind of RICO case.” (Bobby Capucci, 05:00)
“And anybody out here carrying water for any politician…who was palling around with Epstein is part of the problem.” (Bobby Capucci, 07:55)
“Two eyewitnesses say former White House lawyer Katherine Rumler was at Epstein's court appearance that day. In his support, the Daily Beast has learned.” (25:27)
“Well, maybe not any rules of the trade, but she certainly broke all the rules of morality.” (Bobby Capucci, 43:30) “I adore him. It’s like having another older brother.” (Reading Ruemmler’s 2015 email, 53:23)

Bobby Capucci’s “Mega Edition” masterfully pulls back the curtain on the insidious overlap between power, wealth, and criminality in the Epstein saga. The episode is a relentless indictment of legacy media’s failures, the legal system’s double standards, and the elite’s ability to shield themselves from consequences. Ruemmler’s downfall is framed less as a story of one individual’s misjudgment and more as a case study of systemic rot at the highest levels—where connections, not justice, determine who gets away with what.
For listeners seeking an uncompromising recounting of Epstein’s reach into the political and financial stratosphere, this episode is essential—and disturbing—listening.
