Alan Dershowitz became embroiled in a years-long legal war with Virginia Giuffre after Giuffre publicly accused him of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager allegedly trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Dershowitz fiercely...

What's up, everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Virginia Roberts has wrapped up a lot of her proceedings against different people who were involved with her abuse with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. However, one lawsuit is ongoing and has been ongoing for quite some time now, and that's the defamation battle against Allen I kept my underpants on Dershowitz. Now Virginia's revealing that she's ready to take the stand against Alan Dershowitz when this defamation trial gets underway. So today we have an article from Law and Crime that's detailing how Virginia is ready to go as far as this lawsuit is concerned. Headline alan Dershowitz Accuser Virginia Roberts Reveals when trial might begin and she intends to testify. This article was authored by Adam Klassfeld, one of Jeffrey Epstein's most prominent survivors, revealed in a filing on Monday that she and Alan Dershowitz may go to trial next year and she intends to take the stand against the retired Harvard law professor. Look, this guy's day has been coming for a very long time and he can deny all he wants, these allegations, but me personally, anyway, I believe these allegations against him. Who goes over to Jeffrey Epstein's house for a massage? You don't go to a professional masseuse and then you come out and say, well, I had my underpants on, so it was all good. And then you think it's a good idea to hop on the Internet and start bashing a survivor and multiple survivors at that. So this unhinged guy running around acting like he's a victim, but the reality is he's been in bed with some of the smarmiest dudes going. And it's not his work as far as a lawyer that makes me disgusted by his behavior. It's the fact that he's being credibly accused here. And up until now, this defamation hearing, he hasn't really been under the microscope at all. Sure, people called him scummy and this, that and the other thing, but he's being credibly accused right along with people like Bill Richardson. So my disdain for this guy is next level disdain. And finally, after all of these years, he's going to have to be deposed. He, he's going to have to go under oath and talk about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. And the lawyer that he's facing is a very serious man, Charles Cooper. Chuck cooper is serious about his work, and Alan Dershowitz is very aware of that. Attorneys for Virginia Roberts say that she and Dershowitz want a target date for trial in in March of 2023. If agreed upon by senior u. S. District judge Loretta presca, the schedule would call for fact discovery to close on November 30, 2022 and expert discovery to wrap up by February 15 of 2023. Now, the discovery phase is big time. This is where we're going to learn a whole lot about this back and forth here that we might not have known until it gets to discovery. Right. There's only so much evidence that's out there for public consumption. But once you get to the discovery phase, it's, you know, handing over all the documents and you get to see the true scope of what's going on. My guess is Alan Dershowitz has really stepped in it here and he knows he can't retreat because, boy, that'll look bad. But going forward, it's my guess, and remember, just my guess here, he's going to get crushed in this defamation case and he's gonna get. He's gonna end up looking bad. Every other person who has engaged in a defamation case with Virginia has ended up not only losing that pretty much, but they end up under criminal investigation as well. Now we'll have to see what happens with Andrew in the long run. But Maxwell and Epstein both ended up under criminal investigation after giving depositions in regards to allegations made by Virginia. Plaintiff understands. The court had previously indicated a desire to have a trial in the fall of this year, but neither party now believes that is possible. And indeed, we believe a March trial is optimistic and aggressive for the following reasons Roberts counsel Charles j. Cooper wrote in a letter filed with the court on Monday. So they want to get it going a little bit sooner, right? March. They want to get the show on the road and they want to get Alan Dershowitz up there and under the microscope. And you can't blame Virginia. How long is this poor lady going to have to deal with this BS hopefully for not much longer, right? But it's been decades now, and still it's the same nonsense so it, you know, if you're in her shoes, you definitely want this to come to a quick conclusion, as at least I would think anyway. Roberts has alleged that she was instructed to have sex with Dershowitz. She sued him for defamation in 2019 after he responded to those allegations by calling her a certified, complete and total liar. Now, you see, when somebody makes an accusation about you, right, and then you come back with that sort of venom, you better hope that you have some receipts to back up what you're talking about. And so far, Dershowitz, like the rest of these clowns, has not had any receipts to show up when it's time to get audited. Oh, just take my word for it. Oh, I'm Alan Dershowitz. Nobody believes that and nobody's taking your word for it, especially these days. Since Roberts first filed her case, Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in the Southern District of New York. The disgraced financier pedophile, who was convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor, raping children in 2008, was found dead in his jail cell months later. Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. Associate, you mean co conspirator, general all around scuzzbag, fellow child abuser, bipedal serpent. That's what you mean, right? Oh, okay.
Podcast Host/Commentator
Yeah, okay.
Bobby Capucci
Would later be tried and convicted of the same conspiracy. And, and she recently received a 20 year sentence. So again, like I said previously, Maxwell and Epstein both tried this path of calling Virginia a liar and, you know, trying to dispute her claims, and they ended up stepping in it, didn't they? And it's my guess that Dershowitz is on the same exact path. There's a landmine coming and he, he's going to step in it. On the road to trial with Dershowitz, Roberts filed and settled a separate lawsuit against the UK's Prince Andrew. Well, we all know about that one. We all know that Prince Andrew. Mr. I didn't do anything. Mr. I never even met this girl. Ponied up a big fat chunk of cash. Again, another person who denied, denied, denied, denied, denied for years, decades, basically, about their relationship with Epstein and their involvement. Only to fork over some cash when the chips are down and it's time to prove your bullshit. With other Epstein related matters settling down, Roberts wrangling with Dershowitz continues to accelerate. Roberts is expected to resume a deposition via Zoom from Australia, where she lives, later this month. On July 26th, Dershowitz deposition will take place in Boston, Massachusetts on August 30th and 31st. I'm sure he'll come up with some kind of lame brained excuse why he'll have to push it back. And he'll use all sorts of loopholes and technicalities to try and do that. And that's why I'm happy that Virginia has a guy like Chuck Cooper in her corner. Oh, you want to try a loophole? I know how to pull the end around and stop you from doing it. And also a man who has a of lot lot of connections within the world of legalese. This isn't a man that just showed up on the scene. This is a guy that's been around for quite some time and he's built quite the reputation, especially as a trial lawyer. Robert's lawyers say that they identified three affirmative expert witnesses, but they may call others if Dershowitz continues to claim physical, emotional and mental damages. Imagine this guy setting himself up as the victim. I mean, really, who the hell believes that Alan Dershowitz is the victim here? We currently anticipate submitting expert testimony from an expert on sex trafficking, a forensic psychologist, and an expert on the dissemination of defendants defamatory statements over the Internet. Her letter states, at the top of Robert's list of anticipated fact witnesses is herself. Look, that says everything that it needs to say. Not only is she making these allegations, she's willing to stand up in a court of law, get deposed and testify against Dershowitz because she is telling the truth. At least that's what it says to you, right? If you aren't telling the truth, would you get up there and take the stand? I highly doubt it. Her attorneys, David Boyce, Sigrid McCauley, Brad Edwards and Paul Cassell are also on the list. So is Anasaka DiGiorgio, a woman described as Epstein's first British victim. Edwards and Cassell previously settled a lawsuit with Dershowitz. New York Supreme Court records say Dershowitz defamation case against boys is active. Now, Dershowitz has had had it in for boys for quite some time. These guys are like arch rivals, right? And it was Boys who was heading this defamation case too. But because of Dershowitz and his wrangling, he got boys tossed off. But really I think he made it worse for himself because Chuck Cooper is a straight up bulldog. And I think as. As great as boy is, there's no doubt that boys knows his. But I think that Chuck Cooper, when it comes to trial time, he's the type of dude that's going to rip your arm off. In 2009, Roberts reached a $500,000 confidential settlement with Epstein, which was unsealed earlier this year, she was invited to provide a victim impact statement against Maxwell, though she did not testify at her trial. Well, of course, considering how vocal Virginia has been, it makes sense that she was able to put out this victim statement. I want to be clear about one thing. Without question, Jeffrey Epstein was a terrible pedophile, roberts wrote in her prepared remarks. But I never would have met Jeffrey Epstein if not for you, for me, and for so many others, you opened the door to hell. And then Ghislaine, like a wolf in sheep's clothing, you used your femininity to betray us and you let us all through it. So that's powerful stuff coming from somebody who was abused by this lady. Right? And I know if I was the judge, I would find that moving, especially after a trial where the the accused has been convicted. Dershowitz, who represented Epstein, denies wrongdoing and he has never been charged with a crime. His attorney, Arthur Idalla, did not immediately respond to Law and Crime's email requesting comment. Well, of course not. When's the, when's the last time they've, you know, responded to comment? They're not going to do it. And Dershowitz especially, he'll respond, you know, on Twitter or something. There'll be some sort of unhinged rant, I'm sure. But besides that, I wouldn't wait too long for the lawyers to respond here. But either way, this is going to be here before we know it, folks, and I'm pretty interested to see how it all turns out.

What's up, everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Alan Dershowitz loves to litigate.
Bobby Capucci
He loves to sue people.
Podcast Host/Commentator
He loves to threaten to sue people. And he loves to flex his legal might when he is in the courtroom or behind the scenes. You know what he doesn't like, however? He doesn't like when the shoe is on the other foot. He doesn't like when the court is making demands of him or when other powerful attorneys are pulling his card. And that's what we're going to talk about on tonight's episode. Alan Dershowitz thinks that he's going to be able to keep his tax returns from Virginia Roberts over in their defamation suit.
Bobby Capucci
This is all after he has already
Podcast Host/Commentator
received her tax returns. So Alan Dershowitz is certainly one of the type of people who thinks, well, why would you need my tax returns? I'm squeaky clean. Didn't I just tell you that? You know, he's one of those guys when it's his privacy that's being looked at or when the curtain's being drawn back on his bedroom, it's a big problem. But if you're somebody he's litigating against, it should be carpet bombing, scorched earth, no holds barred type of justice. That's the way he goes about his business. We've seen the way he destroys people and not other powerful people even. We've seen the way he's destroyed, helped destroy those girls during the first arrest for Epstein. We've seen how that all worked out. Zero justice rendered. And Dershowitz has been going on his merry way ever since. Now, if Dershowitz was just somebody who was defending people like Jeffrey Epstein, I'd find them gross either way. But at least you know he's not a criminal, right?
Bobby Capucci
That's just his job.
Podcast Host/Commentator
It's a scummy ass gig. I would never defend people like Epstein. But there has to be people out there that'll do that job. If we want to have a society where everyone has representation, then there has to be people who will do that job. But usually people do it because they feel like they have to defend the law. Right, Dershowitz? It just seems like a bunch of fellow travelers all the time, doesn't it? Type of people he's representing. Guy's not out there. You really mean to tell me this is a guy that cares about the Constitution? I don't buy it. He says he does, but in my opinion, I don't buy any of that stuff. I think Alan Dershowitz is One of those types of people who wields their legal knowledge as a blunt instrument and uses it as a bully pulpit to intimidate and make people fear what the, you know, possible results might be of criticizing him or calling him out onto the carpet. And we see that the legacy media is starting to get hip to it a little bit. You're not seeing him booked on as many shows, but over in places like Newsmax or OAN or even on Fox News, you still, you still see Dershowitz pop up and blabber about this, that, or the other thing.
Bobby Capucci
The first question that should be asked
Podcast Host/Commentator
to him is, so what's the deal with you in Virginia? That should be the first question. I don't care about his legal opinion about anything else, about Trump's impeachment or this. That. I don't care. The only questions that should be asked of this dude are about Epstein until he answers, you know, truthfully, for once. All of these people that were hanging out with Epstein, all of these people that were in the black book, if they're ever at one of these events and these journalists are there, they should be asking them about that. But you don't ever see that, right? It's ridiculous. It's always been the same story. And Alan Dershowitz, at least up until recently, has been afforded that same privilege by the legacy media. But I will say there has been a bit of a turn. And once the dude defended Trump, that was it. Imagine, for some people, that's even worse than defending Jeffrey Epstein. So whatever, whatever the case is, at least people are starting to take notice that, you know, Dershowitz isn't like just this great legal scholar. He's out there, you know, like I was saying, wielding his legal acumen, wielding his legal contacts as a. An instrument to, you know, litigate people into oblivion. And then when he runs into somebody that is up to the challenge, it becomes a whole different thing, right? It's. I have to destroy their credibility and this, that, and the other. Well, Alan Dershowitz has certainly run into another law firm run by a lawyer who is of his caliber. And that law firm is run by Chuck Cooper, and it's Cooper and Kirk. This is a very, very high profile law firm that. And they mean business, right? They're not out here playing games. Like, a lot of these lawyers are not out here looking for fame or none of that stuff. Just out here litigating and crushing folks. So Dershowitz is well aware of who Chuck Cooper is and the reputation that Chuck Cooper has. So he Put himself into this position really, because he's the one that petitioned to get Boyes thrown off of the case.
Bobby Capucci
So he got rid of one high
Podcast Host/Commentator
profile attorney only to get, you know, slobber knockered by the second one. And I have a funny feeling that, that we're going to see a clash of the titans, if you will, in this case. But Dershowitz isn't going, going to be able to come out on top here in my opinion anyway, because again, he doesn't have the truth. He's going to have to rely on loopholes and technicalities. So we know how that's worked out so far for these folks. Not so well right now. Again, Dershowitz, unlike the rest of these people, is a very, very shrewd man. He definitely knows the law. And as much as you can be grossed out by him or think he's just a disgusting human being, you can't take away the fact that he is very knowledgeable when it comes to the law. That said, he isn't the greatest lawyer of all time. He isn't, you know, the greatest voice talking about the Constitution we've ever seen. So when people start with that nonsense, I just have to roll my eyes.
Bobby Capucci
But you got to give him credit where it's due.
Podcast Host/Commentator
Don't sell the guy short as far as you know him knowing what he's talking about, legally speaking, at least until recently he has seen a bit of, I don't know, mental decline, if you will, in the, in the past few years. Right. Doesn't seem to be as sharp. But you know, that comes with age. It's to be expected. Either way, they are embroiled him in Virginia in this battle right now. And Virginia and her team led by Cooper and Company, they're looking to get the tax returns from Dershowitz here. And Dershowitz obviously is fighting tooth and nail so that that doesn't happen. Today we have an article from the Daily News and we're going to talk about this a little bit more and we're going to see what author Molly Crane Newman has come up with. Headline, Alan Dershowitz fights to keep tax returns from Jeffrey Epstein Survivor Virginia Roberts. Now, sounds familiar, right? Who else likes to keep their tax returns private? And I get it, I understand why people would want to keep their tax returns private. It's a private matter. Nobody needs to know how much money you make or anything like that. But if you're running for public office or you're engaging in a very acidic back and forth litigation and it's Pertinent to what's going on, then, yeah, you should probably pony up those documents. So Virginia's team is pushing for that, and I wouldn't be shocked to see the lawyer make a decision and make them turn those over. That's just a guess. Obviously, I don't know the future, but I think it would.
Bobby Capucci
It.
Podcast Host/Commentator
It's something that is a legitimate ask here, especially considering Virginia has turned her records over to him previously. Alan Dershowitz is following in the footsteps of his former client, President Donald Trump, and fighting in court to keep his tax returns confidential.
Bobby Capucci
The ongoing battle over the prominent Harvard
Podcast Host/Commentator
Law School professor's financial records comes in a suit brought by Virginia Roberts, who says she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein when she was underage. Roberts says Epstein lent her for sex to Dershowitz, who represented Epstein was when the financier pedophile was being investigated by the feds in 2007. So again, when we talk about Dershowitz, according to Virginia, according to the accounts, he's not just an enabler. He's not just somebody who defended Donald Trump or Jeffrey Epstein in court. He's somebody who, according to these reports,
Bobby Capucci
took part of in the abuse.
Podcast Host/Commentator
So that's a different level of scumbag.
Bobby Capucci
Right?
Podcast Host/Commentator
If you know you're doing a grading system on these scumbags, they. This is the top of the ring for scumbaggery. Anyone who took part in this shit needs to be prosecuted, needs to be indicted, and there needs to be a robust investigation into the allegations made against these people. What, because they're rich? That doesn't happen. These kind of allegations should always be looked into, especially when you're talking about somebody who was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein. The returns, Robert argues, are relevant to claims that Dershowitz suffered reputational harm due to her allegations. So, meaning if he was suffering from such reputational harm, how could he make so much money? How would he be bringing in all of these fat ass secured bags if he's suffering from reputational harm? When you suffer from reputational harm, that means you are no longer able to work. You are no longer able to. To provide your family with the life that they were used to living. But the only reason this guy's suffering any reputational harm is because of his own actions, because of the people he hung out with.
Bobby Capucci
Let's not forget, he already admitted, oh,
Podcast Host/Commentator
I got a massage at Jeffrey Epstein's,
Bobby Capucci
but I was wearing my underpants. And the girls, well, they were over age.
Podcast Host/Commentator
How do we know any of that? And how can we believe any of that? And furthermore, how does he know any of that? Did he check their IDs or was
Bobby Capucci
he just going on the word of
Podcast Host/Commentator
a prolific human trafficker and pedophile? In an ironic twist, Roberts legal team says that Dershowitz's tax returns could show he lost money through his through his representation of Donald Trump. Dershowitz's tax returns may contain evidence of general reputational harm linked to defendants representation and public defense of President Donald Trump. Rather than any comments from Roberts, her attorney Nicole Moss wrote. So Nicole Moss is a partner over at Cooper and Kirk. And what they're saying is, basically what I just said, this guy's reputation was in the shitter previously. So all of a sudden this is. This is it. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. Come on, man, nobody liked you anyway. You didn't have a reputation to defend. It wasn't because you're just hanging out and, you know, doing your job either. It's because you're friendly, personal relationship with a guy like Jeffrey Epstein and there's
Bobby Capucci
no reason or rhyme for it.
Podcast Host/Commentator
There's no explanations for it. And frankly, I don't want to even
Bobby Capucci
hear you try and explain it away anymore.
Podcast Host/Commentator
Oh, he was just my client. So part of the perk package for lawyers is they go over to their client's house and get massages. That's part of the perk package.

I highly doubt it. In filings, Dershowitz writes he files jointly with his wife and that she objects to disclosing the documents. He offered to waive any legal claims related to loss of income. Oh, give me a break, dude. Why don't you just show your tax returns? What are you hiding? Alan Dershowitz, Mr. Legal Eagle. All of these dudes are the same, right? All of these people are the same. And the naked volleyballer from Martha's Vineyard certainly is no different. Zero ability to be transparent. Zero ability to just come clean and own up to what's going on. Because Guess what? They don't have the truth on their side, so they can't do that without implicating themselves in some sort of horrendous crime. I just don't want them rummaging through my charitable contributions, my health, my medical records and. And things of that kind, Dershowitz told the Daily News. I thought it was because your wife objected to it, but it also has to do with them rummaging through your charitable contributions, your health, or medical records, or things of that kind. What does that even mean? Where are you donating your money? How much of that money was donated to organizations like Epstein's Liquid Ltd. Now, again, I don't know if that's the case with Alan Dershowitz. These are just questions that nobody likes
Bobby Capucci
to ask, it seems, but we're gonna
Podcast Host/Commentator
keep asking them here on the podcast until somebody answers them.
Bobby Capucci
If this dude is on the up
Podcast Host/Commentator
and up, if he has nothing to hide, just turn over your records and be done with it.
Bobby Capucci
You say you got all this proof
Podcast Host/Commentator
that Virginia's lying and she's trying to extort people? Well, we haven't seen any proof provided that would direct me in the bearing of her lying. Okay. Certainly nothing that Dershowitz has provided that didn't satisfy Roberts, who disclosed her own tax returns to Dershowitz's legal team years ago. Moss called Dershowitz's tactics unacceptable behavior. It is unacceptable behavior. He never wants to play ball, right? He wants to manipulate the system to always benefit him. He wants to be in a legal position where he always has the most tenable of ground. And I get it, that's where you want to be, right?
Bobby Capucci
In a legal fight or any other fight otherwise.
Podcast Host/Commentator
But the fact is, he's not going to be able to bully his way into it this time. He's going to have to truly litigate himself out of this. And I don't think he's going to be able to do it. I really don't think so. I think Cooper and Kirk are very savvy at what they do, and I think Nicole Moss is ready to bring the thunder to this dude. Robert sued the 83 year old Dershowitz for defamation in April 2019 for repeatedly smearing her in public as a liar, for claiming Epstein forced her to sleep with him as a teen. And he came out hard in the paint, right? Talking all kinds of shit like he
Bobby Capucci
was gonna get away with it.
Podcast Host/Commentator
Like he could just say whatever he wants about whoever he wants, and Virginia just wasn't going to, you know, do anything about it.
Bobby Capucci
I mean, it's just ridiculous that he
Podcast Host/Commentator
would think that she wouldn't sue him after everything she has been through, after everything that has been revealed. This bozo, this brazen moron has some
Bobby Capucci
audacity, boy, doesn't he?
Podcast Host/Commentator
Dershowitz, who represented Epstein in the late 2000s, is countersuing in Manhattan federal court claiming Virginia fabricated the accusations as part of an extortion plot targeting former Victoria's Secret CEO Leslie Wexner. And we know that's BS because Wexner himself has come out and said so. So again, Dershowitz trying to pull other people into his legal problems, trying to pull off a magic act here. So you focus on one thing when another thing is really the issue. And he's very good at this and he's always been good at this. But again, I don't think it's going
Bobby Capucci
to work this time.
Podcast Host/Commentator
I have nothing to hide because I never met her, never touched her, never had any contact with her. So I have absolutely nothing to hide.
Bobby Capucci
And I'm looking forward to trial at
Podcast Host/Commentator
which her whole history comes out. Dershowitz says she is not going to get a penny from me. I did nothing wrong. Her whole history is going to come out, bro. She's been being dragged in the media and elsewhere for how long? You had Prince Andrew's lawyers and people like Victoria heavy trying to get the dirt on her from weirdos on Twitter and shit. You really think she's worried about you putting her on blast? You, you old crypt keeper looking mfer. You don't scare nobody no more, Alan Dershowitz.

What's up everyone? And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. We have quite the Development in the battle between Virginia Roberts and Alan Dershowitz. As far as the lawsuit goes now, for years Virginia has maintained that she had been trafficked to Alan Dershowitz. Well now the lawsuit, the defamation lawsuit that they had going against each other, that's going away, that's done. Because Virginia's saying that she may have made a mistake now in accusing Alan Dershowitz. And for his part, Dershowitz is saying he recognizes now that Virginia was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein's, but you know, he was misidentified. So let's get into this article from the Miami Herald and let's unpack what's going on here. Headline In a victory for Dershowitz, Epstein's survivor says I may have made a mistake in accusing him. This article was authored by Ben Weider and for me, I pay attention to language. So with that statement of I may have made a mistake, I think what's going on here is Virginia is just tired of this whole entire process and
Podcast Host/Commentator
if this is what it takes to
Bobby Capucci
make it go away and be done with it for her part anyway, then that's what she's going to do. Do I know that for sure? I do not.
Podcast Host/Commentator
I have not talked to her, certainly don't share her confidence or anything like that.
Bobby Capucci
But that's my guess at this point in this is becoming a long, drawn out process going on years and years and years. And it can't be cheap, especially when you're dealing with somebody like Alan Dershowitz. Right. So that's my guess. Do I know that to be a fact? I don't. But after all of these years, for her to say that she might have made a mistake or misremembered, that's a pretty big one. It's a, that's a doozy. So let's get into the article. One of Jeffrey Epstein's most well known sexual abuse survivors, Virginia Roberts, has settled a bitterly fought defamation lawsuit with famed defense attorney Alan Dershowitz. But while Roberts reportedly won large cash settlements from prior cases involving serial abuser Epstein and his best friend Prince Andrew, no money exchanged hands. In Robert's settlement with Dershowitz, a Harvard law professor who was once Epstein's attorney, each party in the suit issued a statement as part of the settlement. Robert said in her statement that she may have misidentified Dershowitz when she said that he sexually abused her. And for Alan Dershowitz, this is exactly what he wanted to hear. Right. He has maintained this whole entire time that he didn't do this and If Virginia's saying that she might have misremembered or misidentified him, well, for Dershowitz, that's certainly a tenable place to defend himself, at least for taking part in the abuse. Now, his relationship with Epstein in other regards and his defense of him, that's a different conversation, at least for me anyway, because there's levels to this shit, and the most heinous, most disgusting people are the ones who actually took part in the abuse. So if Dershowitz isn't one of the people who partook in the abuse here, well, maybe you have to reevaluate which rung he is on. Or is this Virginia just saying, look, I've had enough, and I don't want to deal with the nonsense anymore again, I don't know. But all we could do is take her at our word here, right? And she's saying that she might have misremembered. So for Dershowitz, it's certainly a victory. In effect, it was vindication for Dershowitz. I have long believed that I was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein to Alan Dershowitz. A. Robert's statement said, however, I was

very young at the time.

It was a very stressful and traumatic environment. And Mr. Dershowitz has, from the beginning, consistently denied these allegations. I now recognize I may have made a mistake in identifying Mr. Dershowitz. Well, that's a whole lot right there, and I don't even really know what to say about that, honestly. It can only be two things, right? Either A, that's. That's exactly how it is. She might have misidentified Dershowitz, or B, she's just had enough of dealing with the nonsense. I don't know what else it could possibly be in between those two things. Dershowitz, a friend of Epstein who would visit the financier pedophile's home and sometimes accompany him around Harvard, where Epstein would eventually be given his own office, for years, maintained his innocence, and countersued Roberts after she first sued him for defamation in April of 2019. One thing I will say about I kept my underpants on. Dirshi over here is he's one of the few people who has countersued Virginia and fought this in open court, or at least brought it to a point where it was being heard in a court. Most of these other cats have run for the hills. Where's Glenn Dubin doing the same thing? Or Les Wexner or any of these other dudes? Bill Richardson. That's what I've called for this whole entire time. Virginia has maintained that this has happened and there has never been a real investigation into these people who have been accused. So I've always maintained that an investigation at the very least is necessary here and whatever happens beyond that is up to the court. I'm very gratified that she admitted what I've known all along, that she misidentified me, dershowitz told the Herald, adding that he wished Roberts well. So he's not saying it didn't happen to Virginia. In fact, he's admitting she was abused,
Podcast Host/Commentator
but he's saying that he's been misidentified.
Bobby Capucci
Dershowitz had previously accused Roberts of lying when she claimed he had abused her, but said in his statement that he had nevertheless come to believe that at the time she accused me, she believed what she said. So there's a lot of, you know, come to Jesus moments in this circumstance

Or is it two parties that have said, you know what, let's just let sleeping dogs lie here and retreat back to our, you know, respective home bases because these litigations are costly. Let's be real. Look, we gotta live in reality, right? We have to be realistic and understand that, you know, there's a lot of financial burden and not only that, but personal burden as well. All kinds of media, lawyers, all the rest of it. And when you've gone through it for so long, I can only imagine anyway that sometimes enough is enough. The prominent defense attorney perhaps most famous for being part of O.J. simpson's legal team in the hall of Fame running back's murder proceedings said that the lawsuit with Roberts had been particularly challenging. I've been fighting fights for a long time, he said, and the fight with Roberts has been the most frustrating and. And serious. Yeah, well, when you have those sorts of charges and allegations laid before you,

That's definitely a serious matter that needs to be answered for and accounted for. Roberts has said that she was initially recruited for abuse by Epstein's ex girlfriend and accomplice, fellow child child abuser, general all around scuzz bag and bipedal serpent Ghislaine Maxwell, who first encountered Roberts around the time of Roberts birthday when Roberts was working at the spa at Donald Trump's Mar a Lago club. Roberts said that after being groomed by Maxwell, she was subsequently abused by Epstein and that the pair trafficked her to the pair's high profile friends, including Prince Andrew.
Podcast Host/Commentator
Now if she misidentified Alan Dershowitz, who
Bobby Capucci
was the, the person that she was trafficked to then? If it wasn't Dershowitz, it was somebody else. So who is that person? The bitterly fought lawsuits between the pair had dragged on for three years. Robert's initial lawyer in the case, David Boyes, was removed after Dershowitz accused Boyce of trying to extort him and presented a secret recording of Boyce in which Dershowitz claim boys told Robert she was wrong to have accused him. In his statement as part of the settlement, Dershowitz indicated that he now believed his prior claims against boys were mistaken. The settlement also resolved cases that Boys and Dershowitz had brought against each other in New York State court. So this wrapped it all up in a nice little bow. And these cases, they're done. As far as the defamation case between Virginia and Alan Dershowitz, there's no reopening that or anything like that. That ship is sailed now. That's finished. Roberts was one of several Epstein survivors who spoke to the Herald as part of the 2018 perversion of justice series, which re examined the deal Epstein cut with federal prosecutors in the Southern District of Florida in 2008 that allowed him to settle numerous allegations of sexual assault of girls by pleading guilty to two state charges of solicitation, one involving a minor. Dershowitz was part of Epstein's legal team that negotiated the lenient settlement. Epstein would ultimately serve only 13 months in a county jail where he was allowed to leave and work from a nearby office and enjoyed other extraordinary privileges. The Herald's coverage led federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York City to re examine Epstein's case and bring fresh sex abuse charges against him. In July of 2019, Epstein, who was held in federal custody after his arrest, was found dead in his jail cell one month later in what has been ruled a suicide. And it's always been crazy to me that it was this newspaper down in Miami, the Miami Herald, who broke this story and not, you know, the, the New York Times or the Washington Post or one of the gigantic media outlets that runs around and makes pretend that they're these, you know, great purveyors of truth. But then when it comes to stories like this or other stories that directly affect our lives, they're nowhere to be found. But the Miami Herald definitely deserves the tip of the cap. And the work they did in this case was exemplary. Epstein's ex, girlfriend and accomplice, fellow child abuser, general all around scuzzbag and bipedal serpent. The British socialite Maxwell was arrested one year later and brought to trial in late 2021 on charges that she had groomed and recruited four girls for Epstein's abuse. She was convicted on five of the six counts brought against her, including sexual trafficking of a minor. While Roberts wasn't one of the four survivors who testified at the trial, she was considered a survivor for the purpose of Maxwell's sentencing this past June, for which Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Maxwell is now serving her sentence in a federal prison in Tallahassee and is appealing her conviction. Now, I hate to be, you know, the harbinger of bad news, but what does this mean for her appeal? Are they going to look at that and say, well, maybe she should get a lighter sentence here? Look, I don't put anything by the criminal justice system and the Bureau of Prisons, but we'll have to see what comes of that, right? We'll have to see what happens with that appeal. And if this plays into that at all, you know, her lawyers are going to sink their teeth into it 100%, without a doubt. Maxwell's lawyers have been looking for a lifeline that this whole entire time. So we'll have to see if this has any reverberations throughout the rest of the case. But it brings to a conclusion one of the more contentious legal battles that we have seen throughout this whole entire thing, and that's between Alan Dershowitz and Virginia Roberts. So, like I said, I don't have any inside information here, like usual, just trying to read between the lines like everybody else. But for me, my guess is she just had enough, and she didn't want to maintain the legal battle anymore. And I'm sure Dershowitz had had enough as well. And it was just going to drag on and on and on and on, and it was going to cost time, money, and honestly, years of your life when you're dealing with this kind of nonsense. So there you have it, folks. That's the latest with Virginia Roberts and Alan Dershowitz and the competing dueling defamation lawsuits that are no more. If you'd like to contact me. You can do that@bobbycapucciprotonmail.com that's B O B B Y C A P U C c I@protonmail.com youm can also find me on Twitter B O B B Y C A P U C C I. The link that I discussed can be found in the description box. There's employed by Pearl Vision. What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Recently we found out that Virginia Roberts and Alan Dershowitz had decided to mutually end their lawsuits against each other. And there were a lot of questions as to why that would occur and especially considering a Virginia statement. Virginia stated that she could have misremembered or misidentified Alan Dershowitz. Now I said in that first episode that the wording is important. I could have, I may have. There was no definitive statements. And I also said in that episode that my guess was that it was because she has been litigating this for so long that she and her family had just had enough. And now we're hearing from Virginia Roberts directly who spoke with the Daily Beast and who is saying pretty much that. So let's get to this article real quick and let's see what Kate Bricklett over at the Daily Beast has for us. Headline Epstein Survivor Dershowitz Isn't exonerated no matter what he says. This article was authored by by Kate Bricklett. Last week, Virginia Roberts, a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein, settled her defamation suit against the financier pedophile's one time friend and lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, whom she'd long accused of sexual assault. As part of the deal, Dershowitz dropped his countersuit against her and his countersuit against lawyer David Boies, who had separately sued Dershowitz for defamation. Moments after the ink was dry, the media published statements from the parties. In her remarks, Roberts said she long believed that Epstein trafficked her to Dershowitz, but she may may have made a mistake in identifying the Harvard professor as one of her abusers. Dershowitz wasted no time in taking a victory lap, appearing on Newsmax, Greg Kelly Reports and Fox 5's Good Day New York and writing an op ed in the New York Post under the headline Exonerated, why I fought to clear my Name in Jeffrey Epstein Allegation. And if you notice, I didn't read that right. I don't really buy the whole oh, I'm exonerated deal here. Okay? What I do believe is that this was just too much and the litigation had become too much. And at some point your Back can only carry so much of a burden. When should Virginia get some normalcy in her life? And when should she stop having to carry the burden? You know, it's a legitimate question, and it's easy for people to criticize if they're. They're not the ones carrying that burden. But I can't imagine all these years of litigation and people suing me and
Podcast Host/Commentator
me suing them and all the other
Bobby Capucci
lawsuits that are going on. And remember, this wasn't gonna see Alan Dershowitz go to prison or anything like that. This was a defamation suit. People disapproved of me being Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer and Donald Trump's lawyer. So a decision was made by people to frame me, Dershowitz told Kelly. And they used a young woman, and the young woman now acknowledges that she may have made a mistake. To frame you, bro, Were you or were you not at Jeffrey Epstein's house? Did you or did you not get that massage? You already said you did get the massage. Now, of course you say you had your underpants on and nothing ill and untowards happened. So, fine, that's what you say. But to act like you're a million miles away from all of this is just absurd. Now, that might work with people who don't follow the case or who might not be hip to what's going on here, but anyone who's been following this case for even a minute understands that. Even if, Even if all of the stuff that Virginia said about you was wrong and she misidentified you, how do you explain being part of that disgusting sweetheart deal that Jeffrey Epstein got? How do you explain that? And I don't. I don't even want to hear about the Trump stuff. That's just easy, you know, low hanging fruit for him to throw out there to try and bolster his case. But there's legitimate questions surrounding other aspects of your relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. There's no doubt about that. My name has now been cleared and I can go back to defending people and being controversial for good reasons, added Dershowitz, who for years has publicly denied Robert's claims and even accused her and her lawyers of perjury. Dershowitz walked back that accusation in his settlement statement in which he said he has come to believe that at the time she accused me, she believed what she said. So you see Dershowitz here taking his little victory lap and talking about how he's been exonerated forgets the part about his concessions. And that's why I didn't even bother reading that Op ed that he wrote ridiculousness. Save the propaganda, homie. But in an exclusive statement to the Daily Beast, Roberts challenges Dershowitz suggestions that he's been exonerated of her sexual abuse allegations. And here's where the rubber meets the road. Right up until this point and this statement, we only had the statement to the court to go on about what Virginia was thinking or why she decided to go ahead and drop this lawsuit and have Alan Dershowitz in turn, drop his. And now she's providing a little bit of context and a little bit of insight into that. I was shocked to read that Alan Dershowitz is claiming that our mutual dismissal of our lawsuits against each other somehow exonerated him. Robert said the litigation was very stressful and damaging to my family and to my health. That's what I said in that first episode. And again, look, I don't have no direct line to Virginia. You know, we don't speak, you know, in DMs or anything like that, but it just made sense to me, considering how rough it is in the best of times when you're litigating something. I've seen friends of mine and family members of mine in a little different of a circumstance, obviously with it being criminal, but it really takes a toll on you. You lose weight, all of that stuff. And if you have health issues, it certainly can accelerate those health issues. So, like I thought in the beginning, that seems to be the likeliest reason for this. Now, what, What. What do you have to gain? Right. What's the actual gain at the end of the lawsuit with Dershowitz, besides slamming the football and spiking it home and saying, look, you did this to me. Now, I'm sure that would be sweet, but you have to, you know, weigh the risk versus the reward and the risk being here, more damage to the family, more damage to her health, and just more litigation that she feels like she doesn't need, at least according to this statement. We have endured years in which Mr. Dershowitz asserted my charges against him were a lie made up out of whole cloth perjury and part of a purported extortion plot. He has now admitted that there was no perjury, no extortion plot, and that rather than making up what I said, I honestly believe charges I made against him. And she is not wrong about any of that. You know, Dershowitz isn't going to talk about his concessions. He's going to try and frame it as a gigantic victory for him. And the detractors and naysayers, they'll do the same thing.

Whether or not Mr. Dershowitz Admissions undermine his previous denials of the charges made against him is for others to say. The settlement agreement limits what I can say and I will abide by it unless and until I am released from it. However, those admissions are not consistent with exoneration, and I'm glad that she came out and set the record straight. Because a lot of times if you just keep your silence, you let narratives build and people run with those narratives. So a lot of times it's good to nip it in the bud and put your side out and then you can be done with it, right? If I was Virginia, I wouldn't address it again. I said my piece. This is what's going on. I don't owe anybody anything else. I need to focus on my health and my family. That's what I would say. Stopping the false charges against me and securing Mr. Dershowitz's public acknowledgment of my good faith was important to me and my family, roberts continued in her statement. However, I did not and would never exonerate Mr. Dershowitz in return. So there you have it. In her own words. And really, that's what the most important thing here is, right? What did she have to say? Reached by phone on Monday and asked about Robert's new comments that her statement fails to exonerate him, Dershowitz would only repeat his prior claims that Robert's accusations of abuse were untrue. I challenge her to repeat her allegation, dershowitz told the Daily Beast. It's a total, complete categorical lie. I never met her and I proved it conclusively. Ask her to release all the evidence that came out in discovery and you will see a total and complete exoneration. Dershowitz went on to say, I have waived every single right of privacy. I have waived every right of privacy to every tape recording, every video recording, every photograph. I ask her to do the same. A 39 year old mother of three. Roberts first accused Dershowitz of sexual abuse in December of 2014 and affidavit filed in a federal lawsuit from two other survivors who sued the government over Epstein's lenient non prosecution agreement in Florida. In the court filing, Roberts alleged that Epstein and his ex girlfriend, co conspirator, general all around scuzzbag, fellow child abuser and bipedal serpent accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, forced her, forced her to become their teenage sex slave and sent her to powerful men to be sexually abused, including Dershowitz, French modeling agent Jean Luc Brunel, who killed himself in a Paris jail while awaiting trial for rape, and Britain's Prince Andrew who settled a lawsuit with Roberts earlier this year for millions of dollars. Now, I will say this, for Dershowitz at least he went through the steps here and took it through the court and came to this agreement. Now do I think that was, that's a good idea for him? I, you know, look, I wasn't in there. I don't know all of the evidence. But for him to run around and act like he's been exonerated, that is quite the stretch. Robert's lawsuit against Dershowitz was filed in April of 2019, months before Epstein's arrest for trafficking minors in New York, and stems from his comments about her in the wake of the Miami Herald's investigative series on Epstein's plea deal. Later that year, Boyes, one of Robert's lawyers who had represented her in other matters, filed a defamation suit against Dershowitz for accusing his firm of extortion and suborning perjury in connection to Robert's claims. For his part, Dershowitz filed a countersuit against Boyes for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. So you had two of the most powerful lawyers in the country dueling it out over these claims of misconduct, basically back and forth. Before last week's settlement, Boyes had been conducting an ongoing deposition of Dershowitz, who testified that his relationship with Epstein changed completely after Epstein's 2008 jail stint for soliciting minors. After he served his time, my relationship with him changed completely. It was no longer academic or social, but I did meet with him on a number of occasions, largely around the legal issues that were still remaining. And, and that's the likely excuse. Right. And it's one that will give him tenable ground to stand upon. Unfortunately, as a lawyer, he can say I was meeting with him for his legal issues, even if they weren't. Dershowitz testified According to a transcript reviewed by the Daily Beast. As the New York Times reported, Dershowitz abruptly stopped the questioning in late September because of concerns about his health. I mean, come on. And then all of a sudden, they have the settlement here. So, look, when you have a settlement, it's not just take. There's give and take. And there was never any exoneration for Alan Dershowitz. In the comments that we have read, anyway, Dershowitz testified that he also had discussions with Epstein about the Middle East. After his Florida conviction, he was friendly with a number of prominent Israelis. And so we had conversations about the Middle east and the matters, legal matters. Oh, I'm sure he was. We know he was great friends with Ehud Barack, and I'm sure there's a slew of a bunch of other people that he was working with. He funded that company, Carbine. Of his relationship with Epstein, Dershowitz added that knowing that he was guilty of these crimes, that he had pleaded guilty of these crimes, my relationship with him was completely different than. Than it was before I learned about the accusations. Emails cited in the deposition transcripts, however, seem to paint a picture of a particularly chummy relationship between Epstein and Dershowitz. Even after the creepy money manager incarceration, of course, they were still palling around. Come on. Common sense says. Anyway, now Dershel, again, he'll use the excuse, look, I was a lawyer. I was just doing my job. He had legal issues, and I had to deal with them. That's what. In November 2012, the deposition testimony reveals Epstein wrote Dershowitz. I love that. That I get a Christmas card and present from former Assistant U.S. attorney Matt Menschel, the guy that put me in jail. Dershowitz replied, appropriate. Christmas celebrates the birth of an. Of another innocent Jewish guy who was crucified. So we're going to compare Jeffrey Epstein to Jesus Christ? Is that what you're telling me here, Mr. Dershowitz and Matt Menschel sending this dude Christmas presents and shit, bro. Yeah, the prosecution wasn't in on it. The prosecution didn't work with Epstein's lawyers to make sure he gets this sweetheart deal. Give me a fucking break already. Obviously, my answer was hyperbole, and it was paraphrasing Epstein's own stated views that he himself received in an inappropriately harsh sentence. Dershowitz, you said the same thing. Dershowitz testified when asked about the message, he added that it bears not at all on the nature of the relationship between Epstein and myself during this period of time. And look, let's not get, you know, ahead of ourselves. This is a silver tongued man. This is a man who knows how to deal with the deposition, has been involved in many, many depositions throughout his life, and somebody who knows how to navigate these questions. In May 2013, Epstein wrote to Dershowitz, where are you? Where are you? This summer? Dershowitz replied that he'd be on Martha's Vineyard before adding, where are you? I called you a couple of times when I was in nyc. Miss you. Yeah, that's the relationship of a client and a lawyer. A lot of these lawyers who do their job and defend scumbags, they don't want anything to do with the scumbags afterwards. They go on and live their life. Look, this is my job and I respect those lawyers. You can be a lawyer and defend scumbag people and still be an honorable person. You have a job to do. I've said this a million times. It doesn't matter how much of a degenerate piece of garbage you are. In this country, everybody's entitled to legal defense. And if you can afford top notch legal defense, hey, great. But that doesn't mean the lawyer has to be your buddy afterwards. Dershowitz was also questioned about a 2014 email with a friend, Tom Ash, who wanted to visit Epstein's New Mexico land with his son to collect petroglyphs. Jeffrey Epstein said, of course. Dershowitz emailed. The friend reads, to which the pal responds, how do we do it? Do we just show up there or do we need to call someone? Don't know. Try calling if you can't reach anyone. I will call Jeff. So is this what you do with an acquaintance or a friend? Let me ask you, put yourself in these shoes. Would you just be calling up an acquaintance and saying to him, hey, can my friends come on your land and look for petroglyphs? Or would that be a friend and that a request you would make from a friend? I know. I wouldn't just ask some random or acquaintance that. Thanks. Maybe a young girl will answer, the friend wrote. When asked about that email, Dershowitz testified, it's a joke. He later clarified. So obviously Ash was trying to make a bad joke and it was a silly joke. He shouldn't have said it, but he said it. He doesn't mean it seriously. Oh, no, not at all. It's just a big joke. Everything's a big joke. So, garbage man. In Robert's exclusive statements to the Daily Beast, she also refers to the litigation between boys and Dershowitz, who released their own statements as part of the settlement, both Roberts and Boyes lawsuits, court records show, were settled without costs or monetary award. I also note that my statement needs to be considered in the context of the statement issued by Mr. Dershowitz and David Boyes. Roberts continued in her statement, Mr. Boyes sued Mr. Dershowitz for charging Mr. Boyes with sub burning, perjury and extortion. Mr. Dershowitz flatly retracted those charges and Mr. Boyes dismissed his lawsuit. Mr. Dershowitz sued Mr. Boyes for charging Mr. Dershowitz with participating in Epstein's sex trafficking and other misconduct. Roberts continued Mr. Boyes did not retract any of those charges, but Mr. Dershowitz nevertheless dismissed his claims against Mr. Boyce. That too hardly seems like exoneration. And look, she's not wrong about that. I didn't even really pick up on that during the initial release, to be honest with you. But it's. She's right. I have long believed Mr. Dershowitz participated in my sex trafficking. I have not and would not retract what I have said. However, under all the circumstances, I was prepared to acknowledge the possibility that I may have made a mistake in identifying Mr. Dershowitz as part of a resolution of all pending litigation. And right there is. It signals to me the reasoning behind it. Right. Virginia just didn't want to deal with it anymore folks. That's what it looks like. And honestly, who can blame her? I was and am prepared to leave to the judgment of the public end of history whether to accept that my belief which Mr. Dershowitz acknowledges was honest, or to accept Mr. Dershowitz assertion that I was mistaken. Roberts concluded. For over a decade, Roberts was among Epstein's most high profile survivors. One who gave international media interviews about surviving Epstein's sex ring and about her accusations against Prince Andrew and created a non profit for sex trafficking victims called Speak Out Act, Reclaim or Soar. Her civil litigation against Maxwell settled before trial and excavated much of what the public knows about Epstein's trafficking scheme and the bipedal's role in his world. So it was Virginia who blew the doors off of all of this, really, and her depositions and all of the case files that we've seen. However, remember there are countless other women out there who never came forward who were abused by these people.

and While Roberts wasn't called as a witness at Maxwell's criminal trial, her name permeated the testimony. Manhattan Federal Judge Allison Nathan at Maxwell sentencing in June ruled that Roberts was a victim in the conspiracy and allowed her lawyer to read aloud a victim impact statement from her court. Karen Batar, a partner at Safarth Shaw LLP who represented boys in Dershowitz's countersuit, push back on Dershowitz's claims that Roberts remarks have exonerated him. All that she said is I may be wrong. She never said she was wrong. She said she believes and continues to believe what she says. For him to twist that and claim he was exonerated is incorrect and it really couldn't be further from the truth, batar said. Batar also said Dershowitz's media appearances likely violated the terms of the settlement agreement. Yo, okay, well maybe it did. Now I wonder what would the penalties for something like that even be? The agreement was that under these these circumstances the parties would be limited to the contents of the statement that had been mutually agreed upon. But he, Dershowitz immediately went well beyond the parameters of that statement, sought out the press and violated the terms and intent of the agreement. For one to immediately disregard what they just agreed to is certainly atypical, but unfortunately based on how Dershowitz conducted himself in our case, not surprising. And I can only imagine what was going on behind the scenes, right? You know Dershowitz, this dude's pressing and pushing and straight up acting a fool. Imran Anzari, a lawyer for Dershowitz, told the Daily Beast that his client's recent media comments are consistent with the contents of the agreed statement. He has in essence repeated his denial as to Ms. Roberts allegation of sexual abuse, an allegation that he has consistently denied as contained in the statement, while reiterating Ms. Roberts statement that she may have made a mistake in identifying him as contained in the statement and that there was no payment of any money by anyone or anything else as contained in the statement. As such, we disagree with the claim that Mr. Dershowitz is in violation of an agreement and it's going to be this kind of thing back and forth, a lot of legalese. This is how Dershowitz rolls. He wants to make it as painful and as miserable for people as possible. And when you're a high profile lawyer and you can go through a lot of this stuff yourself and it's a lot easier to litigate it, isn't it? It's also a lot less cost restrictive because you know the ins and outs and all the rest of the nonsense that comes along with being one of these high profile lawyers. But when this first broke and we were first talking about it, I figured that this was what it was, that Virginia Roberts had had enough and she wants to go on and live a normal life or the semblance of a normal life with her family and her loved ones. The Epstein Chronicles: Mega Edition
Episode: Virginia Roberts And Alan Dershowitz Mutually Agree To Drop Their Lawsuits
Date: May 11, 2026
Host: Bobby Capucci
This “Mega Edition” delves deeply into the surprising mutual dismissal of defamation lawsuits between Virginia Roberts (Giuffre), one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent survivors, and Alan Dershowitz, famed Harvard Law professor and Epstein’s longtime defense attorney. Host Bobby Capucci critically examines what led to this abrupt legal about-face, the language and realities inside the settlement, the broader impact on the Epstein case, and both Roberts’ and Dershowitz’s post-settlement statements and motives.
With characteristic bluntness, Capucci dissects the media spin, legal strategies, and personal toll at play, bringing in court documents, press coverage, and direct quotes from involved parties. He also places these developments in the wider context of Epstein’s criminal enterprise and the long campaign for justice waged by survivors.

Host’s Final Take:
The episode is candid, irreverent, and highly personal—Capucci calls out hypocrisy, mocks legal jargon, and is pointedly skeptical of both media narratives and “elite” legal maneuvering. His language is colorful (“bipedal serpent,” “naked volleyballer from Martha’s Vineyard”), and he pulls no punches in expressing suspicion of Dershowitz’s conduct and motives, while expressing empathy for Roberts and survivors at large.
This episode gives a comprehensive, unsparing look at the high-stakes legal chess game between Virginia Roberts and Alan Dershowitz, contextualizing it within the larger Epstein scandal. Capucci navigates court filings, public statements, shifting narratives, and the raw impact on people involved. Ultimately, he concludes that the mutual settlement is less a clean exoneration for Dershowitz and more an exhausted survivor’s exit from an endless legal gauntlet—a sobering reminder of the limits of the justice system for the powerful.
For listeners seeking a blow-by-blow account of the Roberts vs. Dershowitz saga, its settlement, and the broader state of Epstein-related justice, this “Mega Edition” provides both detail and critical perspective.
