Boss, what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about? And why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved. For over a decade, we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The Lapsed Fan Podcast. Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

What's up, everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. One of the biggest mysteries that still remains when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein's death is what in the hell was he doing in a jail cell with Nicholas d' Artaglioni in the first place? Especially considering what Nicholas Tartaglioni was being held for. Let's remember that he was being held on suspicion of four homicides. Yet you're going to put him in a jail cell with a guy like Jeffrey Epstein, a man that's obviously somebody who is in danger while in prison, considering what he's being charged with and considering how high profile he is. So you put a man in the jail cell with him who just a couple of weeks ago got caught with contraband in his own jail cell. A a cell phone. And then as a reward, you put him in a cell with Jeffrey Epstein. For what reason? There has never been a reason given as to why Nicholas Tartaglioni was put in a jail cell with Epstein. In the first place. And furthermore, anything that Nicholas Tartaglioni saying, well, my suggestion is take that with a grain of salt. And while I give props to Jessica Krause, the woman who, who was on the phone with Nicholas Tartaglioni and contacted him in prison, I really don't believe anything he has to say because to me, all of this is just another layer of. To cover up the real purpose of why he was in that cell. And that purpose, in my opinion, was to send a message to Jeffrey Epstein. And considering the final outcome, I would say that the message was received. So let's dive into an article from the New York Post, and let's see what they have to say about this phone call that Ms. Krause had with Nicholas Artaglioni. Headline, Feds Offer Jeffrey Epstein Deal for Incriminating Dirt on Trump Ex Cellmate says this article was authored by John Levine. Now, remember, this man was convicted of four homicides. So there's no level that he won't go to, to try and get himself an easier stay or to get the, you know, homicides commuted or whatever. So keep that in mind while he's running hustle here. Jeffrey Epstein was offered a sweetheart plea deal by federal prosecutors in return for incriminating information that would lead to President Trump's impeachment, according to the late pedophile cellmate. Now, look, I have no doubt that they were looking for any information that anyone might have on Trump. They were going balls to the wall to try and get him. And considering the people that were engaged in this, if there was anything there that was tangible, they would have found it. But do I believe that Nicholas Tartaglioni was part of a plot to try and take down Trump, or they tried to bring him in to this plot? No, I don't believe that for a second. In fact, I think that Tartaglioni's trying to shake some of the blame here off of himself and put it all on the government. Why don't you tell us why you were in that cell in the first place? Who signed off on it? Why did they sign off on it? And what happened? Oh, that's right. Nothing happened. He tried to hurt himself. And then after Jeffrey Epstein already had the noose around his neck, then you got involved to save him, right? Look, that dog don't hunt. And this whole entire story that's being concocted here, I don't buy one single bit of it. Okay, let's just go on record right now. I don't buy any of it. Ex Westchester cop and convicted killer Nicholas Dartaglione, Epstein's bunkmate at the Metropolitan Correctional center in Manhattan, weeks before his death in August of 2019, said the disgraced financier pedophile dished on the dirt digging expedition after a confab with the feds. And again, look, I have no doubt that the feds were digging, they were searching, they were looking. But it seems to me that when you look at all the evidence that's been compiled, you look at everything that's been brought to the table. They had nothing to go on besides a few comments and a few stories of Trump and Epstein hanging out together in the past. There was nothing really tangible for them to sink their teeth into. And then they'd have you believe that Jeffrey Epstein. Mr. I'm going to redirect every bit of evidence. Mr. I'm never going to tell a real story. Is going to tell Nicholas Tartaglioni his deepest and darkest truths. Well, maybe while Nicholas Tartaglioni was choking them out of him. But besides that, I highly doubt that Epstein was confiding in Nicholas Tartaglioni, who he said he was scared of. He said that when you're a cop, what do you know about proffers and cooperating? I said, Jeff, it's pretty simple. The prosecutors, you know, they caught a fish. You, they're not going to let you off the hook unless you give them a bigger fish. Recall Tartaglioni in the phone call with Jessica Reed Kraus, a California based, self described journalist who recorded the conversation and later posted it to her substack. Well, I would say that Ms. Kraus is obviously a journalist. She's doing journalist work. Right. And again, this is no swipe at her. This is good work on her part, getting in touch with Tartaglioni and, you know, chasing down the story. Not very many people are even hip to this part of the story. So the fact that she's chasing it down is a feather in her cap. But don't be fooled. Nicholas Tartaglioni is not exactly what I would call a bastion of truth. This is a man that's going to say anything, do anything to try and get himself off. And frankly, I don't care what he says. It's my opinion after following all the evidence and talking to some people that were around when this was happening, meaning people at the jail, that Tartaglioni put his hands on Epstein and assaulted Epstein in that jail cell. And considering that my sources have been spot on this whole entire time, I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. He said, yeah, well, that's what they said. The quadruple murderer recalled. He said, they told me that they'd let me plead out something small, and I'll do just a couple years in a camp if I can give them something on Trump to get him impeached. And. And just to be clear, I have no doubt that that kind of conversation occurred 1000%. They were looking for anything they could find at this point. And if they thought Tartaglioni could have given them some information, then great. And that could have been part of the reason why they put him in the cell. But the real reason, in my opinion, as I've said from the very beginning, was to pass the message to Jeffrey Epstein that if you don't do it yourself, we can reach out and get you anyway. So do the right thing here and finish the job. Because there's no way, in my opinion, that Jeffrey Epstein just woke up one day and decided, that's it. I'm gonna call it a day, and I'm gonna finish myself off here. A narcissist like him doesn't do something like that. This is a man that was ready to fight, and if you listen to his lawyers, he was gearing up for the legal battle. Then all of a sudden, he gets put into a cell with Tartaglioni, he mysteriously tries to kill himself, and then a few weeks later, ends up actually doing it. Yeah, nothing to see here, folks. Everything's on the up and up, he says. But the government told me I don't have to prove what I say about Trump as long as Trump's people can't disprove it, Tartaglioni said, adding that Epstein considered making stuff up to save his skin. Tartaglioni never said what Epstein ultimately planned to do. That's because he didn't know what Epstein planned to do, because Epstein wasn't confiding in Nicholas Tartaglioni. Tartaglioni, 57, was convicted in 2023 of murdering four people, including a man he tortured and strangled over stolen drug money. The one time Briarcliff Manor cop was sentenced last year to four consecutive life sentences. Yeah, this is the guy we should trust, man. That, obviously, Nicholas Tartaglioni is the arbiter of truth here. A man that is never gonna lie, you know, a pillar of society. Said nobody ever. Tartaglioni was Epstein's cellmate when the money man was discovered with bruises on his neck on July 23, 2019. Epstein told his lawyers that Tartaglioni roughed him up, which the cellmate denied. Epstein was removed from Tartaglioni's cell and put on suicide watch. He killed himself three weeks later on August 10, though questions over the possibility of foul play remain. While he was supposed to be placed with a new cellmate, Epstein was alone, according to a report from the Department of Justice Inspector general. Yeah, you know the report with all those pages that told us nothing fixed nothing, did nothing. Yeah, that same report. Epstein at the time was facing a raft of charges from federal prosecutors, including sex trafficking of minors and. And sexual exploitation and abuse. You know, Diddy's fellow traveler, right?
