Come join our sweat sesh on TikTok. What's up everyone? And welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Well, it looks like the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein in New Mexico is heating up. And a spa down in Santa Fe named 10,000 Waves has entered the chat. And according to 10,000 Waves, they had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. But we do know that Epstein loved to go to these kinds of places or send his people there to recruit people to come and give him massages. So if there's any evidence that's been uncovered by the investigation in New Mexico that that was happening then, that should be looked at. Now. To be clear, I've never even heard of 10,000 waves or this spa ever before. So I'm not going to sit here and tell you that it's something that we've talked about or someplace that's been accused previously. But when you're having an investigation like this and you have to go back over all the details, you have to take a look at everything. And according to the reports and more crucially in the files, Epstein certainly had some kind of relationship with 10,000 waves. Were they sending him girls? Well, that's the question. And if they were, was it on a professional basis or was something else happening? So today's article is from the Albuquerque Journal and the headline, 10,000 waves denies allegations of Epstein ties. This article was authored by Nikayla McLellan. A Santa Fe spa and resort has denied on social media allegations it sent massage therapists to disgrace financier Jeffrey Epstein's New Mexico ranch after the business appeared in various files released by the US Department of Justice. Social media accusers have accused 10,000 waves, a Japanese inspired resort, offers massages, hot tubs and skin care services, ascending masseuses, and supplying girls to Zoro Ranch, a property Epstein owned in Santa Fe County. Now, look, I don't know. I'll be very honest with you. I have no Idea. But if the name is appearing in the files, why was he sending girls to this place or vice versa? That's a legitimate question. And was anyone abused? And. And I'm sure that's what the investigators are trying to hammer down. In response, 10,000 waves refuted all claims that the business was associated with Epstein in any way and said the spa has never provided therapists for off premise house calls, according to a social media post from 10,000 waves. Well, is that on an official basis? Did girls that work there go on their off time again? I don't know. These are the questions that we have to dig into though. And if we want to get to the bottom of it again, no rock can be left unturned. Gotta dive in, gotta ask the questions, gotta do the legwork. And it looks like in New Mexico they're doing that. We never tolerate any behavior that would jeopardize the health or safety of our massage therapists and guests. According to the statement, Sarah Bean, chief operations officer for 10,000 waves, said that she had known since February that the business had been mentioned in the Epstein files. But it wasn't until the end of April that there had been less reasonable implications towards 10,000 waves. And I just caution everybody to be very, very careful what they believe on social media. You have to keep in mind that there is financial incentive for people to, to push the most salacious claims. That's how they draw engagement. That's how they end up on the Piers Morgan show. That's how they end up, you know, selling you merchandise and looking at you like a customer. And there's a lot of people that are out there pitching a lot of bs and look, that doesn't mean that what people are saying is always incorrect. There's a lot of people out there that are on point, but you have to be aware that there are certainly a bunch of snake oil salesmen out there that are looking to benefit from the most salacious parts of this story. They have no desire to get to justice. They have no desire for this to end. What they want is to keep the grift going. And if that means making things up, they'll do that. We don't farm our massage therapists out to third party locations or at other businesses. Being told the Journal on Monday, our massage therapists are all independent contractors. And, and we're perfectly happy if they take work outside of the waves. That's something we encourage, but we also don't control what they do outside of work they do here on the property. So it looks like they were independent contractors. Right? And some of these women most certainly were at Epstein's house giving massages. Whether it advance past that, who knows? We'll have to listen to what the women say. But words matter. And what Bean's saying here is that these women might have done it on their own, but it wasn't the facility itself that was sending them to Jeffrey Epstein. The Epstein files mentioned 10,000 waves 20 times. Although some of the documents are duplicates, a majority of the mentions come from FBI investigation documents and two emails from Epstein where he mentions going to the spa for a massage. I'm going to 10,000 waves tomorrow at 4:30pm and Epstein wrote in an August 2015 email, now, that doesn't prove anything, right? Doesn't mean that 10,000 waves was part of Epstein's operation, but it does put him there. And I would guess that he was friendly with people at 10,000 waves, whether it was management, ownership, whatever. When you have that kind of money, you have that kind of power, the people who own the place where you're hanging out, they're going to want to get to know you. And Jeffrey Epstein, well, he always wanted to get to know everybody. That way he could figure out who he could use and who he couldn't. Another document in the files details a transcribed interview between the FBI and Epstein's former chief pilot, Larry Vasoski, in which he describes the scheduled massages Epstein would receive at Zorro Ranch. When the masseuses showed up, they were from a professional salon in Santa fe. Asked an FBI agent, that was called 10, 000 waves, is that right? I know that the salon existed and it was famous for massage service. Yes. Vasoski said, I don't think anybody should doubt that Jeffrey Epstein was using massage therapists from this facility. The question is, were they just professional massages or was it something else? In one of the documents, FBI investigation detailed that Epstein acquired masseuses from 10,000 waves or by referrals. Records state that there have been approximately five different therapists used in the past, though it's unclear how many, if any, worked at 10,000 Waves. We do our best to create a safe space for our massage therapists and our clients, and we have always done that. We were not involved directly in providing any sort of service to Jeffrey Epstein while he was here. Well, except when he was at the property. Right? Didn't you give him massages then? And look, there's nothing illegal about that. Let's be very clear. Let's not get too carried away. Now, the question is Were any of these women sent from somebody over at 10,000 waves? Because that's a different story entirely. If they went on their own in their own time, and they happen to work at 10,000 waves, well, that's kind of a gray area, right?

Boss, what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Oh, it's. What is it about? And why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now, what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved? For over a decade, we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music. And absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The Lapsed Fan podcast. Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

They're not being sent from their job. They're doing it on their off time, their personal time. So is 10,000 waves responsible if they get abused? Well, that's the question. And I think that it depends. If they were sent there by somebody at 10,000 waves and they were told, look, you have to go see Epstein, work for him, whatever, then that was a work event. And I think 10,000 waves should be held accountable for that. However, if it's something that happened after they might have met Epstein at 10,000 waves and then the abuse happened at Epstein's ranch, that's more of a gray area, right? Because these women, at least according to what we're hearing here, were adults, right? So they went to Epstein's house of their own accord. But what happened when they got to that house is the big question. Were they abused? Did they just give him a massage? Are there women out there who haven't come forward, who might have worked at 10, 000 waves? All questions that need to be answered, right? And hopefully, with this investigation that we're seeing from New Mexico, they're going to get to the bottom of all of it. Because there's a lot that happened in New Mexico that really was just never reported. And I know I talk about it all the time, and I'm sure you're tired of hearing about it, but Zorro Ranch, it was pretty much the key to all of this. And if they would have raided Zorro Ranch, I can only imagine what kind of information they would have found. Look, everybody knew about Epstein's townhouse in New York. Everybody knew about the island in Florida. Not very many people were hip to Zorro Ranch. So if you were somebody like Epstein and you had a bunch of things you wanted to keep secret, a bunch of things you wanted private, things you wanted to keep in a safe or whatever, which property would you keep them at? I know for me, it would be Zorro Ranch, without a doubt. I mean, the place basically functioned as an impregnable fortress. So if I was gonna hide secrets, that's where I'd stash them. But, of course, we'll never know, because the investigators, the doj, the state, everybody at the time, well, they all decided that Zorro Ranch wasn't worth raiding. And because of that decision, and it was a decision, not an oversight, that means we're never going to know what really happened there. And the evidence that could have backed it all up is long gone. And now that the state of New Mexico has decided to actually investigate, how much evidence has been lost? How much has walked away? How many people who had evidence have passed away? And, of course, that's one of the biggest problems that we're dealing with at this point. There's been so much time that has elapsed since what went down at Zorro Ranch. And now, and with all that evidence not being preserved, it's very hard to get to the bottom of what actually went down. So hopefully the authorities in New Mexico can figure some of it out and try and paint a picture for the rest of us about Jeffrey Epstein and his activities at Zorro Ranch. The question is just how deep and how far are they going to go? All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
