Boss what's the most dreaded question that you can get when you tell people you host a podcast called the Lapsed Fan? Ugh. It's what is it about? And why is that, do you think? Because to like pro wrestling is to lose the respect of others. Now what if we told you there's a podcast that explains exactly why that is and why it's kind of deserved? For over a decade, we've taken fact finding missions through the thicket of half truths that is wrestling history. We watch old matches, call out carnies, laugh at our own jokes, and have so much fun doing it that some people actually can't handle it. Think wrestling is an escape from real life? Think again. Same power games, same office politics, same people lying to your face. Just with entrance music and absolutely no company health insurance under any circumstances. All I offer is opportunity, not benefits. As do we, Vince. The Lapsed Fan Podcast Come for the wrestling history. Stay for the uncomfortable truth about why it used to be better and why you still care.

What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. A couple of years ago, we were talking about Prince Andrew and the City of York and how they stripped him of his titles. Well, now we're learning that Fergie Sarah Ferguson, who was married to the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family and who also had her own relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, is now also losing her title as well. So today we have an article from Fox News talking about this new development headline Sarah Ferguson's Fall From Grace Deepens as York Strips Title under Epstein Link's Scrutiny. The authors of this article are Lauren Overholtz and and Stephanie Nalasco. Sarah Ferguson's ties to Jeffrey Epstein are casting a longer shadow over her public legacy as the city of York moves swiftly to strip the Duchess of York of a ceremonial honor in a rare unanimous vote. Well, they handled Prince Andrew the same way. And Sarah Ferguson, she's been riding the gravy train for way too long. What has she ever provided to the people of the uk Besides a running joke or embarrassment, certainly nothing of substance. So why should the people of the UK give her anything? Ferguson's honorary freedom of the City of York was stripped by the city's council in a unanimous vote on Thursday, the BBC reported. The move comes after Ferguson's friendship with Jeffrey Epstein was exposed in investigative files released by the Department of Justice. Royal experts claim the removal, although mostly ceremonial, cemented a dramatic shift in how Andrew Mountbatten, Windsor's former wife, is viewed by the British. Well, you see the way she was talking to Epstein in those emails. My supreme friend, you didn't do it. You're such a great guy. I love you so much, the whole thing. So why should anybody show her any charity? And if I was a taxpayer in the uk, I'd be livid. Imagine paying the bill for somebody like Sarah Ferguson and the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. While not unprecedented, stripping royal titles is rare. Helena Chard told Fox News Digital. Andrew was the first person to to have the Freedom of the City of York revoked, making this a significant move. It's largely ceremonial honor and will not change Andrew and Sarah's lives. However, it highlights their fall from grace, their reputational damage, diminished status. And considering they were the former Duke and Duchess of York, the removal of the titles is a big deal and it certainly highlights that actions have consequences. Well, for some of us, this is the first time Prince Andrew has ever faced any consequences for anything he's ever done. He was able to get away with all kinds of wild because he was mommy's little boy, Mommy's little monster. And the Queen, she didn't want to hear anything about Prince Andrew unless you were talking good about him. She didn't want to hear it. And she enabled him and protected him for decades. Do you think it's any coincidence now that the Queen is gone, that Prince Andrew's feeling the heat? And this is what we talked about years ago, that when the Queen ended up passing away, that Prince Andrew was going to be the number one target for the royal family when it comes to trying to rebuild trust with the people. And while they've made the move, I don't think it's good enough. Honestly. There's a lot of people out there that are starting to come to the conclusion and the realization that the royal family itself protected Andrew for all these years. And I think that once that becomes more public knowledge, people are going to be questioning the Queen and her decision to protect Andrew instead of protecting the firm itself. And I think that decision is, is Having big time ramifications as we speak. The city council's debate over whether to remove Ferguson's honorary title was shockingly brief, according to one royal expert, Hillary Ford, which told Fox News Digital the whole ordeal actually took less than 10 minutes and is totally unheard of. Well, come on, is there actually going to be some kind of, you know, back and forth debate over whether Fergie should hold this role or not? I think everybody pretty much understood, knew that the answer was no. So when it came time to deliberate, the folks who were on the council, well, they already knew which way they were going. And in my opinion, it's a long time overdue. Sarah Ferguson has been a net negative for the Royal family for how many years? Toe sucking being an embarrassment, the whole thing. And now those chickens are finally coming home to roost. They all wanted to draw a line to protect the city's reputation. She added. The freedom of the city in Britain is largely symbolic rather than a serious appointment, but it still amounts to another slap in the face of Ferguson. Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital the royal expert claimed that Ferguson is so traumatized by the derogatory events recently that the vote is unlikely to have much impact on her. Well, I mean, when the hits keep coming, they keep on coming. But again, I can't feel empathy for somebody like Sarah Ferguson, another person who had it all. And because she's greedy and heartless and has no morality, she was willing to sacrifice all of it for a little bit more. So if you're somebody who lets your greed lead you around, don't come crying to me when those chickens come home to roost because I don't give a shit. Fordwich explained that the council acted on behalf of the public, calling the move the most damning condemnation. Needless to say, no one's speaking up on behalf of the disgraced former York couple, nor Sarah Ferguson. She said no one is stepping up with any objection to this move nor to redeem them as they are too entwined with the revolting Epstein scandal. This is York making a totally clean break from the despicable couple and obviously that's well within the city's rights if they don't want to be associated with scumbag Andrew and Tosuck and Fergie. They're well within their rights to vote to take away these honorary titles and a must come as a gigantic slap in the face. Imagine the the most entitled people having their so called entitlements taken away. That's like the worst thing you could possibly do. To these people. Meanwhile, King Charles and Prince William seem focused on protecting the monarchy. As this all plays out, they've stripped Andrew of his titles and are distancing the royal family from controversy, indicating a strategic approach focusing on a more streamlined and controversy. Free image. Charge said William was totally right to oust the couple from royal life. Ford, which added, and that's another thing that I predicted. I figured that William, who was much younger and more in tune with the people of the UK and the people of the world in general, wasn't going to put up with that bullshit. And I'm sure he got right into his dad's ear and was like, listen, Pop, we can't be dealing with this dude. And in the words of the Sopranos, he's no longer invited to our social club. That's basically what happened, right? They gave him the veto spot of four treatment, and that's all because of William. And I truly believe that if it was up to him, he would send his uncle into exile someplace very, very far away from London, wherever that might be. But Charles obviously still has a soft spot for his brother a little bit, and he's going to try and, you know, help them along when it comes to this fall. But William, the younger generation, they have no kind of empathy for Prince Andrew, and they shouldn't imagine this sick, degenerate bastard ruining your family. It's one thing to have a degenerate uncle show up, you know, drunk for Christmas and make all kinds of crude jokes. It's another thing entirely for your uncle to be Uncle Touchy himself. Other cities and organizations could take cues from York and reconsider their ties to former Prince Andrew and Ferguson as recent developments unfold and the Royal Family continues working to separate itself from the controversy. Well, good luck with that. They had their chance, but the Queen fumbled the ball. And I know at the time, people didn't want to call it out because, you know, there was an affinity for the Queen, and I get that. But I predicted back then that her decisions would have ramifications in the future. And here we are. He has had no popular support for years. Fitzwilliam told Fox News Digital he was, as the world knows from that ghastly photograph taken in the back of the car, recently arrested for misconduct in public office, and several police forces are reportedly investigating further. There's pressure on their daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, too. Yeah, they're really getting it, huh? They're not going to Easter this year. There's talk about their marriages on the rocks, all kinds of stuff. And unfortunately, they're that downstream collateral damage that comes along with having parents such as Fergie and Prince Andrew. The monarchy faces a serious crisis. It can't respond easily as the Epstein files are released in a haphazard way. He added. The palace is therefore perpetually on the back foot and if it ends up in court, it'll be bedlam. Oh, there's no doubt. Can you imagine if Andrew ends up going to trial? Talk about must see tv. Unfortunately, it'll be over in the uk, and I don't think that they broadcast the trials the way we do here, so I doubt we'd get to see it. But reading the transcripts alone and knowing that Prince Andrew was feeling the heat would be juicy as hell. However, I think that's a bit of a ways off still. We still have a long way to go before Prince Andrew is getting thrown in prison. But when it comes to the honors and the titles, there's no doubt that those days are long over for both the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family and that parasite known as Fergie.
